<v Speaker 1>Jerry, Katie, and Josh.
<v Speaker 2>Fix 100. I had a very stressful morning. I know
<v Speaker 2>Katie had one, too, because her garage door wasn't going up.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, man, the struggle is real.
<v Speaker 1>It really is.
<v Speaker 4>The struggle is real.
<v Speaker 3>I'm like, oh, your battery's probably dead in your button, right?
<v Speaker 5>That's exactly what it was. I just didn't know that
<v Speaker 5>was my job. That was my responsibility.
<v Speaker 2>Every now and then those batteries die, Katie.
<v Speaker 1>Now I know. Now you know.
<v Speaker 2>Very stressful morning. Mine was stressful on a different level
<v Speaker 2>because I woke up in a bit of a panic
<v Speaker 2>this morning. I'm thinking, well, I guess I got to
<v Speaker 2>start rounding up some boxes because I'm moving out.
<v Speaker 4>I'm done.
<v Speaker 2>I'm toast. I'm history. I guess I better start siphoning
<v Speaker 2>money out of our accounts quickly as possible. What happened?
<v Speaker 2>So I can make a run for it. Wait, what?
<v Speaker 2>I better go kiss the children goodbye before I leave
<v Speaker 2>today because I guess I'm never coming back.
<v Speaker 3>They'll never see me again unless it's in court.
<v Speaker 1>Jeremy, what did you do?
<v Speaker 2>I had the most realistic dream last night that I
<v Speaker 2>was having an affair.
<v Speaker 5>Dude!
<v Speaker 1>With who?
<v Speaker 2>It's that Paige Spironik. Is that her last name?
<v Speaker 4>Oh, the golfer chick.
<v Speaker 2>Is that how you pronounce her last name? Paige Spironik.
<v Speaker 2>She's a golfer. She's a local golfer.
<v Speaker 4>She is fine AF.
<v Speaker 2>I will just tell you that. So this was obviously
<v Speaker 2>a dream. But in my dream, we were like totally together.
<v Speaker 2>And we were making out like crazy. And we were
<v Speaker 2>planning our future. And I was hiding it from my family. Goodness.
<v Speaker 2>It was so incredibly realistic. that I woke up in
<v Speaker 2>a panic today, like, oh my God, Nicole is going
<v Speaker 2>to find out.
<v Speaker 4>I'm history.
<v Speaker 3>Our life as we know it is over.
<v Speaker 2>My relationship with her is over. It's done.
<v Speaker 3>But then I was like, well, we're going to be
<v Speaker 3>with Paige. I guess this is worth half my stuff.
<v Speaker 1>On the bright side.
<v Speaker 2>On the bright side, it's Paige. But yeah, straight panic.
<v Speaker 2>I hate those dreams that are so realistic that you
<v Speaker 2>wake up and you're like, well, that happened.
<v Speaker 4>It seems like you actually love them. I'm not going
<v Speaker 4>to lie. It's not a bad one to have.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, I want to tell you something right now.
<v Speaker 2>I was pretty awesome in that dream.
<v Speaker 1>You seem way too happy about this dream to be like, ah!
<v Speaker 2>I was good. I was performing pretty awesome.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, in your dreams, Jer.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, no, Nick Mac is texting me. Can I read it?
<v Speaker 1>Well, it's up to you.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, I can't read that.
<v Speaker 6>We're going to talk about this when we get home.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, she's pretty much saying I got the lawyer on
<v Speaker 3>the line.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, well. You ever had one of those, though? Like
<v Speaker 2>you're screwing up at work and you feel like, well,
<v Speaker 2>I guess I'm going in to get fired today.
<v Speaker 4>Absolutely.
<v Speaker 1>So realistic, and you are just, like, panicking.
<v Speaker 2>Straight panic.
<v Speaker 1>When you're right, you wake up.
<v Speaker 5>There is the immediate fear, but then the rush of
<v Speaker 5>relief that, you know, just rolls over your body.
<v Speaker 2>I don't have to get a hold of you all today.
<v Speaker 4>Thank God.
<v Speaker 7>It's time for a week with 100 Sports Report, bringing
<v Speaker 7>you all the latest in the world of sports.
<v Speaker 2>All the ups and downs. All the highlights.
<v Speaker 4>All the points and stats.
<v Speaker 7>It's points and stats and baseball bats with your Bakes
<v Speaker 7>100 sport grab arm.
<v Speaker 3>All right, so this woman is a badass.
<v Speaker 2>She's 66 years old. She's out of California. She's a skateboarder.
<v Speaker 2>Judy Oyama, I think is how you pronounce her name.
<v Speaker 2>She just broke her own Guinness World Record as the
<v Speaker 2>oldest female competitive skateboarder. at the age of 66 years old.
<v Speaker 3>Wow.
<v Speaker 2>Oyama stepped on a skateboard for the first time at
<v Speaker 2>the age of 13. Look at her go. She just competed, and, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>she was 66 years and 25 days old when she
<v Speaker 2>participated in the International Solemn Skateboarding World Champions in Brazil
<v Speaker 2>last November. And she originally set the record when she
<v Speaker 2>was 64 in 2024. So she's still at it.
<v Speaker 3>This whole article is talking about she's like not giving up.
<v Speaker 3>She's not quitting. She's not slowing down. And we'll basically
<v Speaker 3>see you at 70.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. Doing those ollies and kick flips and getting your
<v Speaker 2>grind on.
<v Speaker 1>Exactly.
<v Speaker 2>And snapping an ankle.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Careful. Judy, take your supplements, girl. You're going to need those.
<v Speaker 3>Take those calcium pills.
<v Speaker 1>Don't skip a day, okay?
<v Speaker 5>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>But good for her.
<v Speaker 4>That's amazing.
<v Speaker 3>That's kind of neat, right?
<v Speaker 5>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>You've got to keep that body moving as we get older. So, Judy,
<v Speaker 1>way to go.
<v Speaker 4>And it's her passion, obviously.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>You love that.
<v Speaker 1>That's a great story.
<v Speaker 2>I love that for her. Oh, Get on that half pipe, girlfriend.
<v Speaker 2>What else you got?
<v Speaker 8>All right.
<v Speaker 6>Well, the Rockies are well on their way to losing
<v Speaker 6>100 games for the fourth straight year, which is not
<v Speaker 6>what you want. But with 16 home games left in
<v Speaker 6>the regular season, they kept their promise. They have added
<v Speaker 6>a bunch of new food. to draw fans to the
<v Speaker 6>stadium this year. The Viral 999 Challenge came out earlier
<v Speaker 6>this year.
<v Speaker 2>Glizilla.
<v Speaker 6>Dubai Cinnamon Roll, the Glizilla, the Brisket Taco. Well, they're
<v Speaker 6>adding another new one this week, and it is an
<v Speaker 6>interesting kind of mix of foods. Katie, I don't know
<v Speaker 6>if I like this, but it's the Buffalo Chicken Donut.
<v Speaker 6>So it's a soft, plain donut loaded with tender buffalo chicken,
<v Speaker 6>melted mozzarella cheese, and then baked into perfection in an
<v Speaker 6>oven pizza.
<v Speaker 1>I would try it.
<v Speaker 2>What's an oven pizza? You know what?
<v Speaker 4>A pizza oven.
<v Speaker 6>Sorry.
<v Speaker 2>I'm sorry.
<v Speaker 4>A pizza oven. What the?
<v Speaker 2>Switch.
<v Speaker 5>I've seen these savory donut trends, though, and I have
<v Speaker 5>always said I wanted to try them.
<v Speaker 2>Sounds pretty good.
<v Speaker 4>You can take a look at it, Katie. What do
<v Speaker 4>you think? Are you into it?
<v Speaker 5>I mean, it just, you know, it looks like buffalo
<v Speaker 5>chicken stuff in a different shape, right?
<v Speaker 1>Same thing. Different shape.
<v Speaker 2>It's just a donut-shaped chicken.
<v Speaker 4>Different carrier to your mouth, right? Exactly.
<v Speaker 1>Different vessel, if you will.
<v Speaker 2>I'm not a fan of meat in shape, so that's not...
<v Speaker 2>I've never been a fan of, like, the dino nuggets,
<v Speaker 2>you know? No, but this.
<v Speaker 4>Is still just shredded chicken on a donut.
<v Speaker 1>You're like, where does that come from, the dino, actually?
<v Speaker 4>What part of the dino?
<v Speaker 2>What part of the chicken does the dino nugget come from?
<v Speaker 2>Either way. Well, that sounds like a tasty treat for
<v Speaker 2>probably $ 27.
<v Speaker 6>99.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 4>We've got receipts.
<v Speaker 7>We've got drama.
<v Speaker 1>We've got Denver talking.
<v Speaker 2>It's the Mile High Hype.
<v Speaker 1>With JKJ.
<v Speaker 4>Legends and icons.
<v Speaker 1>On Mix 100.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's all the big news of the day, and
<v Speaker 2>it's brought to you by Mountain High Appliance, where you
<v Speaker 2>can get amazing savings throughout all their showrooms, whether you're
<v Speaker 2>replacing one appliance or remodeling an entire kitchen. You can
<v Speaker 2>find top brands and expert advice. Just go to mountainhighappliance.com. Well,
<v Speaker 2>the biggest news coming out of the city yesterday is
<v Speaker 2>the new watering restrictions. So starting October 1st, say goodbye
<v Speaker 2>to your lawns. October 1st is the deadline to shut
<v Speaker 2>off your water. They say it is going to be mandatory.
<v Speaker 2>They're banning all automatic lawn sprinklers, spray, and spray irrigation
<v Speaker 2>until spring of 2027 due to the severe drought. So
<v Speaker 2>your automated sprinklers, or manual even if you're dragging the
<v Speaker 2>hose out there, Must be turned off by October 1st.
<v Speaker 2>Done and done. Now, you can still hand water some
<v Speaker 2>of your trees if they need it, some of your
<v Speaker 2>shrubs and flowers, maybe vegetable gardens if they're still going.
<v Speaker 2>But you will receive a formal warning if you don't
<v Speaker 2>shut them off. The second offense is $ 250. Third is $ 500.
<v Speaker 2>And fourth is a $ 1, 000 fine. But we're running low
<v Speaker 2>on water, so....
<v Speaker 1>And that's across the state, huh? Not just Denver?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I think so. Hopefully we have a wet October, right?
<v Speaker 1>Well, they're saying El Nino is supposed to bring it.
<v Speaker 1>So let's go.
<v Speaker 3>Anyway, you've been warned. The Colorado State Fair opens tomorrow.
<v Speaker 2>Excuse me, tomorrow. It's Colorado's biggest end of year tradition.
<v Speaker 2>It's going to be down in Pueblo and it runs
<v Speaker 2>for about 11 days. You can get your carnival rides there.
<v Speaker 2>Your livestock competitions. Oh, I love a good livestock competition.
<v Speaker 1>Me too.
<v Speaker 2>You got your fair food, so you can go down
<v Speaker 2>there and get a funnel cake. Rodeos, concerts, all sorts
<v Speaker 2>of exhibits. So that's generally a good time, so people
<v Speaker 2>tell me. I've never been down.
<v Speaker 1>I haven't either.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I know.
<v Speaker 5>I've always wanted to go, but it just seems when
<v Speaker 5>it rolls around, I'm like, well.
<v Speaker 2>I'm working. Yeah. Kind of.
<v Speaker 1>Exactly.
<v Speaker 2>What else is going on? Uh-oh. Buc-ee's is at it again.
<v Speaker 2>The old Buc-ee's. You know, they were out there trying
<v Speaker 2>to get their big gas station put into the Palmer
<v Speaker 2>Lake area.
<v Speaker 6>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>The town of Palmer Lake. Well, if you recall, there
<v Speaker 2>was enormous backlash and recalls and- resignations of special elections.
<v Speaker 2>And there's all sorts of nonsense that went on with that.
<v Speaker 2>They eventually pulled the plug, right?
<v Speaker 5>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>Well, they're back and they're going to El Paso County to.
<v Speaker 2>Get the approval instead. Because I think El Paso kind
<v Speaker 2>of is the umbrella over the Palmer Lake area.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>So they're going to El Paso County now to try
<v Speaker 2>to get approval for the gigantic travel center.
<v Speaker 1>Still in the same spot.
<v Speaker 2>I believe so. They say it does qualify under certain
<v Speaker 2>zoning rules out there that allow a convenience store, even
<v Speaker 2>if it is 74,000 square feet with 120 gas pumps.
<v Speaker 1>Do you know what this is like?
<v Speaker 5>This is like when you ask mom for something and
<v Speaker 5>she says no. So you wait till dad has a
<v Speaker 5>few beers and then you.
<v Speaker 4>Go ask him the same thing.
<v Speaker 2>For sure. So they're going to El Paso County to
<v Speaker 2>see if they can get some approval. I'm telling you,
<v Speaker 2>I've been to that Johnstown now, went up in Johnstown
<v Speaker 2>now a couple times.
<v Speaker 1>I love it.
<v Speaker 3>I get it why they do not want that out there.
<v Speaker 5>Oh, really?
<v Speaker 1>Are you kidding me? I love that place. It was horrible.
<v Speaker 2>The amount of traffic that it brings in, the amount
<v Speaker 2>of people, the smell of exhaust. It was nasty. It
<v Speaker 2>was nasty up there.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know.
<v Speaker 5>I think that people are afraid of what they don't know,
<v Speaker 5>but it's going to bring.
<v Speaker 4>A lot of jobs.
<v Speaker 2>But they do know.
<v Speaker 4>It's so good for the economy.
<v Speaker 1>Exactly. It's more than just about their view of the mountains.
<v Speaker 2>Noise pollution.
<v Speaker 5>People are pretty selfish when they're thinking about why they
<v Speaker 5>don't want it, and it's for the good of everybody.
<v Speaker 2>It's too big.
<v Speaker 1>It's so the beaver can be everywhere.
<v Speaker 2>It's too big. I don't know. Go up to that
<v Speaker 2>one in Johnstown on like a Friday afternoon where you
<v Speaker 2>can't find a single parking spot anywhere. And the lines
<v Speaker 2>are out the door. And the line of cars down
<v Speaker 2>the road.
<v Speaker 3>I was just there, and I was like, what the
<v Speaker 3>hell is happening?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, but people who like that stuff.
<v Speaker 2>And the brisket sandwich was kind of ho-hum to me.
<v Speaker 1>That's the thing. That's not your thing.
<v Speaker 5>But for people who it is their thing.
<v Speaker 2>Brisket is my thing. What are you talking about?
<v Speaker 1>The gas station itself. People love that place.
<v Speaker 5>And so to have it so close, I can see
<v Speaker 5>why people would want it.
<v Speaker 2>Too many people. Too many people fight it.
<v Speaker 3>All right, I got one more thing.
<v Speaker 2>Generally, it's Katie doing the bear stories.
<v Speaker 9>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>But a bear helped itself to some firefighting equipment after
<v Speaker 2>wandering into a Colorado Springs fire station. The Springs Fire
<v Speaker 2>Department posted some security camera footage to social media showing
<v Speaker 2>the animal entering the bay at Station 16 and then
<v Speaker 2>walking off with a bag of just gear. He peaced out,
<v Speaker 2>and I guess they're still trying to find it.
<v Speaker 6>Uh.
<v Speaker 2>It remains unclear whether the gear was recovered. So I'm
<v Speaker 2>wondering what was in there. Maybe they had a couple
<v Speaker 2>granola bars or something, or I don't know. But maybe
<v Speaker 2>this bear's just really into firefighters.
<v Speaker 4>Maybe just like Smokey the Bear.
<v Speaker 1>To his cousin Smokey.
<v Speaker 2>That's what I was going to say. There we go.
<v Speaker 2>It's kind of cute, though. Just like all the ladies
<v Speaker 2>out there, bears love firefighters.
<v Speaker 5>They do.
<v Speaker 1>All right, what.
<v Speaker 2>Else is going on?
<v Speaker 5>Okay, so introducing... The Beast in a Blanket at Empower
<v Speaker 5>Field at Mile High. So this season, it is on
<v Speaker 5>the Pig in a Blanket, daddy of them all. So
<v Speaker 5>this thing is massive. It's a two-foot grilled hot dog
<v Speaker 5>with barbecue brisket, burnt ends, goat cheese up in there,
<v Speaker 5>sharp cheddar. You've got a puff pastry that completely... envelopes
<v Speaker 5>at all, and then crispy onions, jalapeno slices, avocado crema,
<v Speaker 5>and Mile High secret sauce on top.
<v Speaker 2>Too many flavors.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, it's so many good flavors.
<v Speaker 5>No word on what this delicious monstrosity is going to cost,
<v Speaker 5>but the Glizilla at Coors.
<v Speaker 1>Field is $ 50. And this is comparable to that. So
<v Speaker 1>that's what they're thinking.
<v Speaker 2>$ 50 glizzy.
<v Speaker 1>At least $ 50. Now, the thing is, it's two pounds.
<v Speaker 1>So they're not expecting people to put this away by themselves.
<v Speaker 1>You get it.
<v Speaker 2>You share it.
<v Speaker 1>Well, I'm saying, like, they expect people to get it
<v Speaker 1>and share it. That's why it costs so much. But, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it's going to be available starting this season. And I'm
<v Speaker 1>all about it. I will at least try it.
<v Speaker 2>It looks good. I saw a picture.
<v Speaker 1>I love a good pig in a blanket.
<v Speaker 5>So the fact that they've kind of just leveled this
<v Speaker 5>one up.
<v Speaker 1>Bring me the goat cheese. I'm a big fan of that.
<v Speaker 2>Think twice about what you're putting in your body.
<v Speaker 1>Well, again, it's a treat. It's not like you have
<v Speaker 1>these beasts.
<v Speaker 2>In a blanket. Look at the first word of this meal.
<v Speaker 1>But if you're just having a treat while you're at
<v Speaker 1>a ball game, it's worth it to at least try it.
<v Speaker 4>I've earned this.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe you want to share.
<v Speaker 2>I got my 10,000 steps in today. I earned this.
<v Speaker 1>How many miles did you run yesterday?
<v Speaker 2>Oh, I run 15 miles. Yeah, right.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, moving on. You want to do a push-up competition
<v Speaker 1>right now?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, let's go. Let's go.
<v Speaker 1>I will leg wrestle you all day.
<v Speaker 2>That has nothing to do with legs.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, I just asked you how far you ran.
<v Speaker 2>No, I said you want to do a push-up competition.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, and then I asked you a leg competition. Leg wrestling.
<v Speaker 2>I could outrun you. Easy. Easy peasy.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, right.
<v Speaker 2>You want to race down the hall right now? I
<v Speaker 2>will race you down the hall right now.
<v Speaker 1>That's not fair. I don't have tennis shoes on today.
<v Speaker 2>I'll take my shoes off. We'll do it barefoot.
<v Speaker 1>You know what? It's about to happen. It's about to happen.
<v Speaker 2>Let me get my camera. During the break.
<v Speaker 1>I know. New video. Yeah.
<v Speaker 9>Okay.
<v Speaker 2>Let me go clip my toenails. I might cut you.
<v Speaker 2>I'm like a Wolverine. I can swap fish out of
<v Speaker 2>a lake.
<v Speaker 1>Denver city council.
<v Speaker 5>They've officially approved a new naming rights agreement for the building.
<v Speaker 5>That is a better concert hall. So the Colorado symphony,
<v Speaker 5>they're going to sell the naming opportunities to fund this
<v Speaker 5>massive renovation and They're going to redo Betra Concert Hall
<v Speaker 5>to the.
<v Speaker 1>Tune of $ 122 million.
<v Speaker 5>That is quite the improvement there.
<v Speaker 2>I was just there. It didn't look that bad. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>the restrooms still looked great. The symphony area looked fantastic.
<v Speaker 2>So there must be some stuff going on behind the
<v Speaker 2>scenes we don't know about.
<v Speaker 5>Well, can you imagine how much better it's going to look?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. $ 122 million.
<v Speaker 5>And hopefully they name it something that I can look
<v Speaker 5>at and pronounce immediately.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I saw. How do I? You know what my
<v Speaker 2>vote is? It's always like Hot Topic Concert Hall or
<v Speaker 2>Build-A-Bear Concert Hall.
<v Speaker 1>We should do that.
<v Speaker 2>They're going to do multiple things, though. You can have
<v Speaker 2>naming rights on the inside. You can have naming rights
<v Speaker 2>of the stage. You can have naming rights of various
<v Speaker 2>portions of the building. So they're really selling it off.
<v Speaker 5>Duke's Mayo Side Stage.
<v Speaker 2>Right. The Cinnabon Theater.
<v Speaker 4>That's so funny.
<v Speaker 2>The Duke's Mayo.
<v Speaker 4>So we'll see.
<v Speaker 1>What it all comes to.
<v Speaker 5>But yeah, they're workshopping that idea for new names there.
<v Speaker 5>And then tonight, this is really exciting because we've all
<v Speaker 5>still kind of been reeling about the loss of Dolly Parton.
<v Speaker 5>I mean, I'm still seeing it all over social media
<v Speaker 5>and it makes me sad that she's.
<v Speaker 1>Not with us anymore. So Grizzly Rose, they're like, you
<v Speaker 1>know what? Tonight, it's ladies night.
<v Speaker 5>And in honor of the late, great Dolly Parton, it's
<v Speaker 5>dress like Dolly night.
<v Speaker 1>I can't wait. And for ladies, it is Free drinks
<v Speaker 1>after 8.
<v Speaker 5>So you get free draft beer and free well drinks
<v Speaker 5>from 8 until midnight tonight. So you can go tip
<v Speaker 5>it on back for Dolly. But I love that they're
<v Speaker 5>doing that because, again, I think this is one loss
<v Speaker 5>that we are all feeling tremendously because she was such
<v Speaker 5>a good human.
<v Speaker 1>She did so many good things.
<v Speaker 5>I just saw this post where someone was like, she
<v Speaker 5>was talking about Dolly Parton passing away and her little
<v Speaker 5>seven year old daughter kind of got sad.
<v Speaker 1>And she was like, Oh, do you know who Dolly is?
<v Speaker 5>She's like, well, I don't know her, know her, but
<v Speaker 5>she sent me books. And I was like, Oh, don't.
<v Speaker 7>Be such a chicken squad.
<v Speaker 2>I have this list. I didn't get to it, but the,
<v Speaker 2>you know, my, I talked about this yesterday, my whole
<v Speaker 2>joke of the oversaturation is, Of Dolly Parton. This story
<v Speaker 2>says she left behind a roadmap of planned projects. She's
<v Speaker 2>got her Tennessee travel shops. She's got her Songteller Hotel.
<v Speaker 2>There's a Life of Many Colors Museum. Dolly Dolls are
<v Speaker 2>going to be available in September. Her Cup of Ambition Coffee.
<v Speaker 2>Dolly on Holly, which they think is like an elf
<v Speaker 2>on a shelf.
<v Speaker 5>Oh!
<v Speaker 2>Her Broadway production, the true original musical, there's a 9
<v Speaker 2>to 5 jewelry collection, Dolly's dog treats, a bedding and
<v Speaker 2>home decor collection, and her avatar was in the works
<v Speaker 2>as well. That's how much Dolly Parton stuff was in
<v Speaker 2>the pipeline.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, she was working way more than 9 to 5.
<v Speaker 1>She's just 24-7 on the clock. But may she rest.
<v Speaker 2>Well, have fun at the Grizzly Rose, though. Get you
<v Speaker 2>some free drinks.
<v Speaker 5>Right?
<v Speaker 2>Somebody getting pregnant that night.
<v Speaker 1>Hey, there you go, Jared. There's your mile high.
<v Speaker 2>How many hours was it free drinks?
<v Speaker 1>Eight to midnight. Eight to midnight.
<v Speaker 2>Four hours.
<v Speaker 3>Somebody definitely getting pregnant that night.
<v Speaker 2>Another red flag. Another red flag when it comes to
<v Speaker 2>Princess Pilot, Josh's girlfriend. I'm telling you, these things are
<v Speaker 2>stacking up. This is coming on the heels of her
<v Speaker 2>demanding that he celebrates her half birthday. He got her
<v Speaker 2>a sash and everything. Little princess crown. That was one
<v Speaker 2>major red flag. Here's another one. Now she's in his
<v Speaker 2>kitchen because he likes going to the mall to get
<v Speaker 2>lunch or dinner.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, I didn't understand this. What's their beef with the
<v Speaker 3>food court?
<v Speaker 4>I don't know.
<v Speaker 6>I was talking the other day, and I live and
<v Speaker 6>Katie lives relatively close to Park Meadows Mall, right?
<v Speaker 8>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Wait, wait, wait. Retail resort.
<v Speaker 4>It's not a mall.
<v Speaker 2>Sorry.
<v Speaker 4>Sorry, sorry. Don't want to upset anybody.
<v Speaker 6>But that being said, I go there every once in
<v Speaker 6>a while right after work. Because that gives me, like, what,
<v Speaker 6>10 to 12 options of restaurants right there in the
<v Speaker 6>food court, right?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, what you feeling?
<v Speaker 2>Which are all, like, totally— You can get a Cinnabon
<v Speaker 2>and some Panda Express.
<v Speaker 4>Totally viable options. Maybe some pretzels.
<v Speaker 6>So I was texting her the other day, and I
<v Speaker 6>was like, hey, I'm just at the mall really quick
<v Speaker 6>to grab some food. And she's like, you go there—
<v Speaker 6>just for the options of food there? And I'm like, yeah, absolutely.
<v Speaker 6>They're all restaurants.
<v Speaker 2>You text back and be like, oh, you celebrate a
<v Speaker 2>half birthday?
<v Speaker 4>What are you, an idiot? I don't like to start fights,
<v Speaker 4>so no.
<v Speaker 1>You're like, I'm not looking for a fight, Jeremy.
<v Speaker 4>Nope, I don't want that. But I was confused.
<v Speaker 6>She was so confused that I would go in there
<v Speaker 6>to not just shop. Like, I did no shopping. I
<v Speaker 6>got in, got out, got what I wanted, got some
<v Speaker 6>Panda Express, all right? And she was like, no, no, no,
<v Speaker 6>that's like the extra treat you get when you're already
<v Speaker 6>shopping there.
<v Speaker 4>And I was like, Not at all. That makes no
<v Speaker 4>sense to me.
<v Speaker 2>Unbelievable. This is unbelievable. I can't with this woman.
<v Speaker 1>I went to this specific mall just for the food options.
<v Speaker 2>Retail resort.
<v Speaker 4>Okay.
<v Speaker 8>Jeremy.
<v Speaker 1>That's where Shake Shack is. It is in the mall.
<v Speaker 1>I have to go there to get that. But we
<v Speaker 1>went in there. I remember when we did a little
<v Speaker 1>field trip as JKJ.
<v Speaker 5>We all got bourbon chicken at that one spot. I
<v Speaker 5>go back for that bourbon chicken always.
<v Speaker 2>A chicken was money.
<v Speaker 1>It was so good. So I go to Park Meadows
<v Speaker 1>Retail Resort quite often just for the food. I do this.
<v Speaker 2>Why wouldn't you? You have, like, you got so many options.
<v Speaker 10>Thank you.
<v Speaker 9>Exactly.
<v Speaker 4>And they even have, like, a Jamba Juice in there, too,
<v Speaker 4>if I'm feeling a smoothie.
<v Speaker 2>You can get a Starby's if you want.
<v Speaker 6>And to be honest, I think, I know we have
<v Speaker 6>another Chick-fil-A down the road, but I think that is
<v Speaker 6>the closest Chick-fil-A to us. Yeah.
<v Speaker 4>I mean, there's Popeyes. There's a Chipotle in there.
<v Speaker 1>There's so many.
<v Speaker 2>Why would you not go to the retail resort to
<v Speaker 2>get a delicious snack?
<v Speaker 4>I was shocked that I was not going to buy.
<v Speaker 2>Some aloe or lulu first before going.
<v Speaker 4>We do.
<v Speaker 2>I've told you, you need to keep looking.
<v Speaker 4>For this?
<v Speaker 2>That's crazy.
<v Speaker 3>Red flag on red flag on red flag.
<v Speaker 4>This on top of the half birthdays, you just can't do.
<v Speaker 3>There's so much more, too, that you guys don't even
<v Speaker 3>know about.
<v Speaker 1>Like, I'm not having it.
<v Speaker 2>I'm not having it. This is not good long-term love here.
<v Speaker 2>It's not a good long-term relationship.
<v Speaker 1>I wouldn't base it on her food court preference.
<v Speaker 2>She doesn't like you going into a food court to
<v Speaker 2>get food in a food court.
<v Speaker 3>Although I think they call it the dining hall.
<v Speaker 2>It is.
<v Speaker 4>It is the dining hall. It says, welcome to the
<v Speaker 4>dining hall.
<v Speaker 8>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>So you can enjoy 20 different options. That's nuts to me.
<v Speaker 4>I think it's a great idea.
<v Speaker 1>I think it's great.
<v Speaker 4>Especially because I.
<v Speaker 6>Think I grew up doing that because a family of
<v Speaker 6>seven that we were. every kid could get what they wanted.
<v Speaker 2>Absolutely.
<v Speaker 4>And I think that's smart.
<v Speaker 5>And if you don't know what you want, that's what
<v Speaker 5>I like to do. I like to walk in there
<v Speaker 5>and wander around and see which ones speak.
<v Speaker 2>Get the samples on the toothpicks.
<v Speaker 8>Exactly.
<v Speaker 4>Thank you.
<v Speaker 1>Who's going to tempt me?
<v Speaker 2>What has she got against samples on toothpicks?
<v Speaker 1>Who's going to tempt me over with their delicious food?
<v Speaker 2>Wow me, woo me.
<v Speaker 4>Exactly. What catches the nose, right?
<v Speaker 5>Who's going to get me as their customer?
<v Speaker 1>It's like a game I like to play. So I
<v Speaker 1>love Dining Hall.
<v Speaker 2>Who wants me?
<v Speaker 4>Yes, Josh.
<v Speaker 2>You've got to get with a woman who loves little toothpicks, okay?
<v Speaker 6>Oh.
<v Speaker 2>In more ways than one.
<v Speaker 1>Jerry, Katie, and Josh.
<v Speaker 10>Fix 100.
<v Speaker 2>There is this story out this morning talking about how
<v Speaker 2>malls are starting to charge for the best parking spots,
<v Speaker 2>and people are hating it.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I don't go to Cherry Creek because of that.
<v Speaker 11>Right.
<v Speaker 4>I don't.
<v Speaker 2>Man, everyone was pissed when they started doing that. But
<v Speaker 2>I guess malls all across the country are still looking
<v Speaker 2>to do preferred or premium parking. They're roping off certain spots.
<v Speaker 6>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Specifically, they're targeting this mall in New Jersey right now. $ 2. 45
<v Speaker 2>for the first hour at these spots, $ 2 each additional hour,
<v Speaker 2>and a maximum of $ 10. 45 per day. So if you
<v Speaker 2>park there for a long time, it's going to cost
<v Speaker 2>you like $ 11. Now, they say it is all about convenience,
<v Speaker 2>whether you're running in for one thing, meeting somebody for
<v Speaker 2>lunch in the food court... Or you just don't want
<v Speaker 2>to hunt for that parking spot. It is additional revenue
<v Speaker 2>for the mall. They point to the real estate there,
<v Speaker 2>the real estate that is the parking lot. Think about
<v Speaker 2>what it costs to maintain them, light them, plow them,
<v Speaker 2>secure them. That money's got to come from somewhere, and
<v Speaker 2>they're thinking that this money can come from the premium
<v Speaker 2>parking spots.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, charge people more for a place they aren't going
<v Speaker 5>to anymore.
<v Speaker 1>That's smart.
<v Speaker 9>I know.
<v Speaker 1>That's a really good deal right there.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know about that. Our good friends over at
<v Speaker 2>Park Meadows Retail Resort, that place is packed all the time. Well,
<v Speaker 2>they don't charge for parking.
<v Speaker 3>Packed all the time, though.
<v Speaker 1>They don't charge, though.
<v Speaker 2>That's what I'm saying. They got valet.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, but again, that's like if you want to drive
<v Speaker 5>your car up and then they park it for you.
<v Speaker 2>That's different.
<v Speaker 4>That's a service that I'm into.
<v Speaker 1>That is different. If you're willing to do that, then...
<v Speaker 1>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>You roll over there on a weekend and it's wall-to-wall
<v Speaker 2>cars front to back. I kind of like the two
<v Speaker 2>bucks or whatever. If I'm just there for an hour,
<v Speaker 2>it's worth two bucks for me.
<v Speaker 4>Because it brings you to the front row right away.
<v Speaker 1>Right away.
<v Speaker 2>And especially if you're a mom with a bunch of
<v Speaker 2>kids and your hands are full with strollers and all that.
<v Speaker 4>Shoot, am I into this now?
<v Speaker 1>I'm into it.
<v Speaker 2>Two bucks to be up close with a van full
<v Speaker 2>of kids?
<v Speaker 10>No.
<v Speaker 2>Hells to the yes.
<v Speaker 5>I already park far away so I can get my
<v Speaker 5>steps in. That's something I do already. So I don't
<v Speaker 5>need to park close. I just feel like they're asking
<v Speaker 5>the wrong people to pay for parking.
<v Speaker 4>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>If you've got some extra cash, it might be worth it.
<v Speaker 2>I got to ask you, is that tanning place that
<v Speaker 2>you go to in a mall?
<v Speaker 8>No.
<v Speaker 4>No, no, no.
<v Speaker 1>It's just a regular little building.
<v Speaker 5>They don't ask you to pay for parking.
<v Speaker 1>I did go there yesterday, though.
<v Speaker 6>Did you?
<v Speaker 5>I did go there, and I came across the lovely
<v Speaker 5>young lady who does my tan, and I cannot remember
<v Speaker 5>her name. this has happened to me for weeks now.
<v Speaker 5>Like I cannot remember this poor woman's name. And I
<v Speaker 5>am like, I try and do the trick where I
<v Speaker 5>go through the alphabet. I'm like, is it an A?
<v Speaker 4>Is it a B? Is it a C?
<v Speaker 5>I even asked her the first time I met her,
<v Speaker 5>I try and do this trick where I'm like, can
<v Speaker 5>you spell your name for me? Especially if it's a
<v Speaker 5>unique name, that way I can get a visual in
<v Speaker 5>my brain. And that helps me retain it a little better.
<v Speaker 5>Didn't help in this case. Cause I cannot remember this
<v Speaker 5>poor woman's name. So I'm sitting there and I'm just like, Gosh,
<v Speaker 5>do I call the owner and ask her?
<v Speaker 1>I feel really sheepish if I do that, you know?
<v Speaker 4>No name tag or anything?
<v Speaker 1>Then it hit me. You know what I'm going to do?
<v Speaker 5>Instead of paying for the tip with cash, I'm going
<v Speaker 5>to ask her for her Venmo.
<v Speaker 2>Yes.
<v Speaker 1>Genius. I figured it out. So I tipped her through Venmo,
<v Speaker 1>and I figured out, what up, Lene? There it is.
<v Speaker 4>Now I know.
<v Speaker 1>Now I know her name, and I just was– I
<v Speaker 1>felt so– Lene all day. I felt so smart in
<v Speaker 1>that moment. I was like, look at you.
<v Speaker 3>Watch you be a nickname or something.
<v Speaker 4>No, it's not.
<v Speaker 1>But a problem arose. You found a solution. You took it.
<v Speaker 5>We came out strong on the other end of this situation.
<v Speaker 5>I was just very proud of myself in that moment
<v Speaker 5>because– I forget people's name all the time. And so
<v Speaker 5>this little trick. I just say, hey, can I give
<v Speaker 5>you a dollar? I don't know how I'm going to
<v Speaker 5>get around it in the future. But for this moment
<v Speaker 5>where I needed to tip her, it worked perfectly. But
<v Speaker 5>if you ever come across that and you can't remember
<v Speaker 5>somebody's name.
<v Speaker 4>Just ask for their Venmo.
<v Speaker 1>Can I send you a dollar? We don't have it.
<v Speaker 2>I don't have Venmo.
<v Speaker 1>I like you so much.
<v Speaker 5>I want to send you a dollar. Like, what's your name?
<v Speaker 5>What's your phone number? And then it'll tell you their name.
<v Speaker 5>Or you can just scan it. You know, people just
<v Speaker 5>give you their Venmo?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, a little QR code. You scan it.
<v Speaker 1>Gee, I'm just telling you.
<v Speaker 2>That's good.
<v Speaker 3>I have a fake name in my Venmo, so that
<v Speaker 3>wouldn't work for me.
<v Speaker 2>But yeah, that's not bad.
<v Speaker 1>You have a fake name?
<v Speaker 4>I do.
<v Speaker 2>I don't have my name in my Venmo.
<v Speaker 3>I use a fake name. Because you can change your
<v Speaker 3>profile name to.
<v Speaker 2>Anything you want.
<v Speaker 1>Why would you do that? Privacy.
<v Speaker 2>I know there's privacy settings as well, which I've got
<v Speaker 2>those locked down. But I just do it.
<v Speaker 3>It's a privacy thing, so nobody can go on there
<v Speaker 3>and find me.
<v Speaker 1>Your whole life is broadcasted to people.
<v Speaker 2>I know, so that's why there's little chunks of my
<v Speaker 2>life I want private.
<v Speaker 1>Your Venmo account, that's it for you?
<v Speaker 3>That is it for me, so nobody can get on there.
<v Speaker 1>Learn something new. I know, right?
<v Speaker 2>Now, is this going to be a problem if you
<v Speaker 2>go back in and you don't remember her name for
<v Speaker 2>the Venmo?
<v Speaker 3>I guess you can go into recents, right?
<v Speaker 5>Here's the thing for me now. I've been so embarrassed,
<v Speaker 5>and this has been such a thing for me. I
<v Speaker 5>will not forget this person's name. I see it in
<v Speaker 5>my brain. I see how she spells it. She spells
<v Speaker 5>it uniquely. And so I will. This is something I
<v Speaker 5>will hang on to for the rest of my life.
<v Speaker 5>I'll probably wake up in the middle of the night screaming.
<v Speaker 2>Your neighbors are like, what is going on? What's happening
<v Speaker 2>over there? I didn't know this, but I guess Katie's
<v Speaker 2>been talking with the devils.
<v Speaker 1>Well, no, it's not the devil.
<v Speaker 5>It's a trend on TikTok where, you know, where you
<v Speaker 5>ask chat GPT a prompt and then it spits something
<v Speaker 5>back out and you post it on TikTok and everybody.
<v Speaker 3>Talks about it.
<v Speaker 5>The latest one is you ask chat GPT, say this
<v Speaker 5>to it. The devil hugged me and started crying. I
<v Speaker 5>asked him, why are you crying?
<v Speaker 1>He whispered.
<v Speaker 5>And then whatever chat GPT tells you is what you post.
<v Speaker 4>Oh, it is intense.
<v Speaker 2>Is this going to give me all sorts of like
<v Speaker 2>weird satanic content now on my chat?
<v Speaker 5>Honestly, it makes you feel a little bit about like,
<v Speaker 5>second guessing your own choices as a person.
<v Speaker 2>Josh, you go first.
<v Speaker 4>Oh, heck no. I got mini Jesus over here with me.
<v Speaker 5>No, no, no, no. I didn't think Josh would just
<v Speaker 5>jump on this trend at all, but I did. I
<v Speaker 5>asked it and it said, he whispered, because everyone blames
<v Speaker 5>me for the darkness, but no one ever asks who
<v Speaker 5>turned off their own light.
<v Speaker 1>This is very deep. It goes deep.
<v Speaker 5>I mean, I thought it was just going to be
<v Speaker 5>some kind of entertaining, funny kind of thing.
<v Speaker 1>Me too.
<v Speaker 5>But the responses that people are getting are a lot
<v Speaker 5>like that. Like somebody posted, he whispered, because I gave
<v Speaker 5>you all the pieces to build your own paradise and
<v Speaker 5>you used every single one to craft your personal hell.
<v Speaker 1>Weird. We're doing it wrong, apparently.
<v Speaker 3>All right, I'm going to bite.
<v Speaker 1>Hold on.
<v Speaker 9>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>The devil hugged me and started crying. I asked him,
<v Speaker 2>why are you crying?
<v Speaker 3>He whispered, dot, dot, dot.
<v Speaker 2>I'm just thinking.
<v Speaker 9>Okay.
<v Speaker 2>What did it say? Mine says, because I've spent my
<v Speaker 2>whole life trying to ruin people, and you're doing a
<v Speaker 2>better job than I ever could. What the frick?
<v Speaker 1>Coming for you.
<v Speaker 5>What?
<v Speaker 1>Coming for charity.
<v Speaker 2>I hate this trend. You're doing a better job than
<v Speaker 2>I ever could?
<v Speaker 3>Screw you, ChatGPT. I'm going to say that and see
<v Speaker 3>what it says.
<v Speaker 5>Screw you, chad what does it say what does chad
<v Speaker 5>gbt say to you.
<v Speaker 3>Chad gbt don't play fair.

<v Speaker 9>Good morning.
<v Speaker 2>What are you doing today?
<v Speaker 9>We are going to school.
<v Speaker 2>School time? Oh, yeah, right now, currently, yes.
<v Speaker 1>It is school time.
<v Speaker 2>My note on the screen says you have parent night tonight.
<v Speaker 2>Is that right?
<v Speaker 9>That is correct.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I've got that tonight as well, where you go
<v Speaker 2>in and kind of meet the teachers and all that.
<v Speaker 9>I'm sorry, what?
<v Speaker 2>I have that tonight as well, the little back-to-school parent
<v Speaker 2>night thing tonight. So I'll be there.
<v Speaker 9>Lots of fun.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, no. False.
<v Speaker 5>You guys both sound so excited.
<v Speaker 2>False.
<v Speaker 1>Both of you are like, ah.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's pretty exciting stuff, Melissa. Yes, I do.
<v Speaker 1>Pretty exciting.
<v Speaker 2>All right, who's your kiddo? You want to give him
<v Speaker 2>a shout-out?
<v Speaker 10>Yeah, it's Noah.
<v Speaker 2>All right, Noah. Get to school. Learn something today. All right,
<v Speaker 2>I got a fast five for you, Melissa. In 10 seconds,
<v Speaker 2>let me pull up my list. I need five famous drummers. Go.
<v Speaker 9>Ringo Starr. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>One.
<v Speaker 5>Oh, my gosh.
<v Speaker 1>I have none.
<v Speaker 2>Well, you got one.
<v Speaker 4>We got one.
<v Speaker 1>We got one.
<v Speaker 2>Dave Grohl, Travis Barker, Lars from Metallica.
<v Speaker 3>Phil Collins, epic drummer, bro.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, Collins.
<v Speaker 9>Yeah, I should have had that one.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, man.
<v Speaker 3>Well, Melissa, you have a super dupe stay. Thanks for
<v Speaker 3>calling in.
<v Speaker 9>Thank you so much. Have a great day.
<v Speaker 4>Thank you.
<v Speaker 9>Bye.
<v Speaker 2>Summer. Good morning. I love the name Summer. I really do.
<v Speaker 9>Son of my mom.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, right? Do you like it?
<v Speaker 9>I do. I think it fits me well. It was
<v Speaker 9>either that or Norma. No offense to me, Norma.
<v Speaker 2>Summer's better. Yeah.
<v Speaker 9>Definitely.
<v Speaker 2>What are you doing today, Summer?
<v Speaker 9>I am heading to work.
<v Speaker 2>Okay. What do you do?
<v Speaker 9>I work in the medical field. I'm a medical assistant,
<v Speaker 9>but also a patient advocate.
<v Speaker 10>So I kind of.
<v Speaker 9>Help people learn to navigate healthcare systems themselves and kind
<v Speaker 9>of advocate for themselves.
<v Speaker 7>Wow.
<v Speaker 4>That's intense.
<v Speaker 2>I love that you do that, Summer.
<v Speaker 9>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Thank you, because that's a nightmare.
<v Speaker 4>It is.
<v Speaker 5>Like, tackling those kind of tasks, it's daunting sometimes.
<v Speaker 2>I'm glad you're doing it, Summer.
<v Speaker 11>Oh, yeah.
<v Speaker 9>It has its days, but, you know, it's rewarding.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, thank you for helping people with that.
<v Speaker 2>And I feel like working with a summer in those
<v Speaker 2>types of situations makes it a little bit easier.
<v Speaker 1>Immediately, you're like, yay!
<v Speaker 2>How can I be mad at summer when I can't
<v Speaker 2>find my medical bills? Or why am I being charged this?
<v Speaker 5>Right.
<v Speaker 2>All right, so this is top of mind. This dude
<v Speaker 2>just passed away yesterday. We'll see how you do, but
<v Speaker 2>I need a famous guy. Five Tim Curry movies.
<v Speaker 4>Go.
<v Speaker 9>Okay, five Tim Curry movies. Let's do It. We're going
<v Speaker 9>to do, oh, gosh. The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
<v Speaker 2>You got three. I would have given you three there.
<v Speaker 11>Oh, I should have known that.
<v Speaker 2>Home Alone 2. He's very well known for that, working
<v Speaker 2>that hotel desk. And then one of my personal favorite,
<v Speaker 2>Muppets Treasure Island.
<v Speaker 4>That's a good one.
<v Speaker 9>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>A classic. He's got many. Summer, it was nice talking
<v Speaker 2>to you. Have a super dupes day.
<v Speaker 9>Thank you, you too, guys. Bye.
<v Speaker 4>Bye.
<v Speaker 8>Oh, we.
<v Speaker 2>Got a Jen. Hi, Jen.
<v Speaker 9>Hello.
<v Speaker 1>Good morning.
<v Speaker 2>Good morning.
<v Speaker 3>My note on the screen says gardening. Are you gardening today?
<v Speaker 9>Yeah, after work.
<v Speaker 8>I got to pick my garden.
<v Speaker 9>It's exploding.
<v Speaker 2>Is it? You get a lot of zucchinis?
<v Speaker 8>No zucchinis this year.
<v Speaker 10>I'm drowning in cucumbers and tomatoes.
<v Speaker 2>Are you the neighbor that goes around and gives all
<v Speaker 2>the other neighbors her produce?
<v Speaker 1>I definitely do that at work.
<v Speaker 9>I come in with a bag of cucumbers and say,
<v Speaker 9>who wants to take some home?
<v Speaker 1>Awesome.
<v Speaker 2>I had a neighbor like that who had an epic garden.
<v Speaker 2>And sadly, he moved away. And I was so disappointed
<v Speaker 2>because he would come over with like little baby cucumbers
<v Speaker 2>that you can make pickles out of and tomatoes and
<v Speaker 2>zucchini and squash.
<v Speaker 4>And he moved.
<v Speaker 1>I was like, oh, damn it.
<v Speaker 5>I wish we had a co-worker who brought us their harvest.
<v Speaker 8>That would be awesome.
<v Speaker 2>Jen, bring us some cucumbers.
<v Speaker 1>There we go.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. All right.
<v Speaker 3>Again, very top of mind here.
<v Speaker 2>And I feel like this shouldn't be too difficult since
<v Speaker 2>these have been thrown around a million times over the
<v Speaker 2>past day or so. But in 10 seconds, I need
<v Speaker 2>five Dolly Parton songs.
<v Speaker 4>Go.
<v Speaker 5>Go.
<v Speaker 9>Nine to five.
<v Speaker 6>Yep.
<v Speaker 9>Jolene.
<v Speaker 2>Yep.
<v Speaker 9>I Will Always Love You.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, yeah.
<v Speaker 6>Hurry.
<v Speaker 8>Shoot.
<v Speaker 2>Ah! Islands in the Stream was a big one, and
<v Speaker 2>then Code of Many Colors.
<v Speaker 5>So close.
<v Speaker 4>Darn it.
<v Speaker 2>You did pretty good, though, Jen. I'm impressed.
<v Speaker 8>Yeah, you did.
<v Speaker 2>Thank you.
<v Speaker 6>All right.
<v Speaker 10>Wish I had the Tim Curry question.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, you would have got that one, huh?
<v Speaker 1>All right.
<v Speaker 2>We're going to let you go squeeze your cucumbers. Have
<v Speaker 2>a good day.
<v Speaker 9>Thank you, too.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, bye.
<v Speaker 1>Bye, Jen.
<v Speaker 2>Cecilia. Hi, Cecilia.
<v Speaker 8>Hi.
<v Speaker 10>Hey.
<v Speaker 2>You got parent-teacher night tonight as well?
<v Speaker 9>I do.
<v Speaker 4>It's so much fun.
<v Speaker 10>I'm talking about my son right now.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>I like to bring snacks to those. Stuff with really
<v Speaker 2>loud rappers, you know. Pull it out of my pocket
<v Speaker 2>while they're talking.
<v Speaker 1>You said snacks for your teachers. You meant snacks for you.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, yeah. I get bored of those things. I'm bringing
<v Speaker 2>me a Kit Kat bar. And I'm not sharing. I'm
<v Speaker 2>not snapping nothing off of that.
<v Speaker 1>All right, Celia, you ready?
<v Speaker 9>Yes.
<v Speaker 2>Your letter is Q, as in Q-R-S. Q, five companies
<v Speaker 2>that start with that letter Q. Go.
<v Speaker 9>GQ, Maggie.
<v Speaker 8>No, that's G.
<v Speaker 9>Oh, God.
<v Speaker 10>That's a hard one.
<v Speaker 2>Really?
<v Speaker 10>Yeah.
<v Speaker 8>We got.
<v Speaker 6>Oh, boy.
<v Speaker 2>Time's up.
<v Speaker 4>Time is up.
<v Speaker 3>I think I'm going to hold on to that one
<v Speaker 3>because there is a ton.
<v Speaker 6>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>And I know I loved a delicious Quiznos sandwich back
<v Speaker 3>in the day.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, no.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, Lord, no.
<v Speaker 4>I can hear you, Jerry.
<v Speaker 1>I need to clean it out with a Q-tip.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, right.
<v Speaker 3>If you get tired, you can go to Equality Inn
<v Speaker 3>and take a nap.
<v Speaker 2>Celia, we're going to let you go.
<v Speaker 8>Well, thank you for having me on.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, go eat yourself some Quaker Oats. Have a good day. Jerry.
<v Speaker 6>Bye.
<v Speaker 2>Maybe you're doing your taxes on Quicken or something.
<v Speaker 1>There's so many. Da, da, da, da, da.
<v Speaker 4>Leah.
<v Speaker 1>Hello, good morning.
<v Speaker 2>Good morning. The note on my screen says you're going
<v Speaker 2>to Chili's tonight.
<v Speaker 4>Yes, I am.
<v Speaker 2>Going to get you some $ 5 Margs?
<v Speaker 9>Yeah, probably.
<v Speaker 2>I wonder what their Margarita of the Month is. Katie,
<v Speaker 2>look that up.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, I will.
<v Speaker 3>See what Chili's Margarita of the Month is right now.
<v Speaker 1>Leah, are you going to get the Nashville Hot Mott sticks?
<v Speaker 1>Tell me you're going to get them.
<v Speaker 11>I'm a baby, and I don't like spicy things, but
<v Speaker 11>I like the.
<v Speaker 8>Whatever the other sauce is, it's like a barbecue sauce
<v Speaker 8>on those.
<v Speaker 6>Okay.
<v Speaker 11>Yeah.
<v Speaker 9>They've got a few routes.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, do they?
<v Speaker 10>Yeah, yeah, yeah.
<v Speaker 3>I'm a sucker for the classic, the old-timer with cheese.
<v Speaker 4>That's a good one.
<v Speaker 8>Yeah, that's good, too.
<v Speaker 1>All right. August 2026 is the shark attack, Mark.
<v Speaker 6>With the shark attack.
<v Speaker 4>The shark's in it.
<v Speaker 9>All right.
<v Speaker 2>That was the fun one.
<v Speaker 1>You're going to have a great time, Leah.
<v Speaker 3>Sounds like you're going to have a headache tomorrow.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 11>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>All right.
<v Speaker 3>Really quick, before we get to Fast Five, why are
<v Speaker 3>you going to Chili's tonight?
<v Speaker 11>Oh, I'm just meeting up with some of my friends.
<v Speaker 11>So we do like a monthly dinner.
<v Speaker 4>Oh, that's fun.
<v Speaker 3>That's fun.
<v Speaker 2>This is like so much free publicity for Chili's. Do
<v Speaker 2>you have their app? Because you get free chips and salsa. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>of course. You're an idiot if you turn that down.
<v Speaker 9>Exactly.
<v Speaker 2>You gotta get the free chips and salsa. Alright, in
<v Speaker 2>ten seconds, Chili's girl. I need five characters. These can
<v Speaker 2>be real, fictional, whoever. Five characters that have red hair. Go.
<v Speaker 9>Oh, no. Um... Miss Frizzle.
<v Speaker 2>Yes. Oh, no. Wendy from Wendy's. Strawberry shortcake.
<v Speaker 1>Ariel.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Ariel. There's so many. Leah, have fun at Chili's.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 11>Thank you.
<v Speaker 9>Okay, bye.
<v Speaker 1>All right, bye.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, my God.
<v Speaker 1>Now I want Mott's sticks.
<v Speaker 2>Stephanie.
<v Speaker 7>Hello.
<v Speaker 2>Will you hurry up and win this?
<v Speaker 3>We're in one of those situations.
<v Speaker 1>I would love to.
<v Speaker 2>My God, this just goes on and on. What are
<v Speaker 2>you doing today?
<v Speaker 8>We're sitting outside of school, me and my girls.
<v Speaker 2>All right.
<v Speaker 8>Yeah, ready for the school day and playing some tennis later.
<v Speaker 2>Give them a shout out. What are their names?
<v Speaker 8>Olivia and Cameron.
<v Speaker 2>Hi. Hey, girls. Are they doing hot lunch or cold
<v Speaker 2>lunch today?
<v Speaker 8>Oh, I think we have one of each. It's orange chicken.
<v Speaker 1>They have orange chicken at school? Oh.
<v Speaker 9>What?
<v Speaker 3>I'd be hot lunch all day long today.
<v Speaker 7>Right?
<v Speaker 8>Yeah, totally.
<v Speaker 2>What's wrong with that kid that's bringing cold lunch on
<v Speaker 2>a day like today? Delicious.
<v Speaker 8>She's picky. She likes orange chicken, just not from the school.
<v Speaker 6>Oh, okay.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I get that. All right. Okay, so I got
<v Speaker 2>a food-related one. No help from the girls, all right?
<v Speaker 2>This one, I guess, is kind of subjective. But give
<v Speaker 2>me five foods that might be served alongside coleslaw.
<v Speaker 4>Go.
<v Speaker 8>Baked beans, pulled pork, salad, baked potatoes, sliders, burgers.
<v Speaker 2>I think she said sliders and burgers at the end.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, you should have said, yeah, started with burgers and
<v Speaker 3>hot dogs.
<v Speaker 2>Come on.
<v Speaker 1>But I mean. That was six total, along with the salad.
<v Speaker 8>I think I got it.
<v Speaker 2>You think? I don't know.
<v Speaker 4>Salad?
<v Speaker 1>You can have coleslaw alongside salad.
<v Speaker 10>Oh, boy.
<v Speaker 1>If you go to a barbecue, you load that plate up.
<v Speaker 8>Yeah, you have all those things.
<v Speaker 2>Really?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely.
<v Speaker 2>You're like, honey, give me some coleslaw with a side
<v Speaker 2>of salad.
<v Speaker 1>She said six.
<v Speaker 8>Absolutely.
<v Speaker 1>She said the sliders and the burgers at the end there.
<v Speaker 2>Well, it's not official.
<v Speaker 9>Hey, Jeremy.
<v Speaker 6>What?
<v Speaker 8>Hey, Jeremy, I think you should play the Winnie Wins sound.
<v Speaker 2>All right, you talked me into it.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, Stephanie, you won Best 5 today.
<v Speaker 8>Thank you.
<v Speaker 2>Well done. Yeah, we'll give it to you. Why the
<v Speaker 2>heck not? Like I said, it's fairly subjective. Well, you're
<v Speaker 2>going to go have some fun. We're going to send
<v Speaker 2>you off to go see Dave Matthews' band this weekend.
<v Speaker 8>Oh, my gosh. I'm so excited.
<v Speaker 2>It's going to be such a good concert. I've seen
<v Speaker 2>him at Fiddler's, and dude rocks it. Him and the
<v Speaker 2>boys and the band.
<v Speaker 8>Love it.
<v Speaker 2>Stephanie, I'm going to put you on hold. We're going
<v Speaker 2>to come back and tell you how to get your
<v Speaker 2>hands on those tickets. You have a super-dupe stay, and
<v Speaker 2>thanks for calling in.
<v Speaker 8>Thank you.
<v Speaker 2>You guys, too.
<v Speaker 8>Jerry, Katie, and Josh.
<v Speaker 2>Mix 100. All right, so this morning as I'm getting
<v Speaker 2>ready for work, I'm getting dressed and everything, and I'm
<v Speaker 2>standing in the bathroom, and, you know, I'm getting ready
<v Speaker 2>to put my socks on and stuff, and I look down,
<v Speaker 2>and my feet are kind.
<v Speaker 3>Of whitish, and it's kind of like I got this
<v Speaker 3>chalkiness to a couple.
<v Speaker 1>Like more than usual?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, a little chalkiness to my little piggies.
<v Speaker 5>Mm-hmm.
<v Speaker 2>I'm like, what is, ugh, you know?
<v Speaker 3>And I reached down and.
<v Speaker 2>I kind of scratched some of the white off my
<v Speaker 2>big toenail, off the big little piggy, the little piggy
<v Speaker 2>that went to market.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>And I'm scratching, and I'm like, oh. And it's in
<v Speaker 3>between my toes.
<v Speaker 5>Oh.
<v Speaker 2>And I went, I smelled it, and I go, oh. Well,
<v Speaker 2>that's Greek yogurt. What?
<v Speaker 4>Between the piggies?
<v Speaker 3>It's just a little something that Nicole and I are
<v Speaker 3>into right now.
<v Speaker 1>That's not where it goes.
<v Speaker 3>I had Greek yogurt on my little piggies this morning.
<v Speaker 1>Talk about protein, Maxine.
<v Speaker 2>So, of course, I had been stretching, so I put
<v Speaker 2>my foot in my mouth and sucked it off to
<v Speaker 2>get my protein. No, so yesterday afternoon, I forgot about this.
<v Speaker 2>I was getting some stuff out of the fridge, okay?
<v Speaker 2>And teetering right on the edge was a Costco-sized thing
<v Speaker 2>of Greek yogurt.
<v Speaker 3>And down it went.
<v Speaker 4>Boom!
<v Speaker 2>Hit the floor.
<v Speaker 1>Explosion!
<v Speaker 2>One of those things where you say so many cuss words.
<v Speaker 8>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Because the lid blew off. The side cracked open. I
<v Speaker 2>kid you not, there was Greek yogurt all over the kitchen. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>All over it. And apparently I got a little in
<v Speaker 2>my toes and I didn't know it and it just
<v Speaker 2>dried overnight. So I woke up and I had chalky
<v Speaker 2>Greek yogurt all over my feet. But have you ever
<v Speaker 2>been in that circumstance when Something falls out of the fridge.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>And it's just like a bomb went off.
<v Speaker 5>Well, and you got to have like CSI come and
<v Speaker 5>clean it up because you don't know where that splatter went.
<v Speaker 1>It's like.
<v Speaker 2>So just this morning.
<v Speaker 9>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Just this morning as I was getting ready, I went
<v Speaker 2>down to investigate and there's still little splatters on the cabinets.
<v Speaker 2>There's a little on the fridge still.
<v Speaker 11>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>It's everywhere.
<v Speaker 1>I've told you this.
<v Speaker 5>Has happened to me in the morning because I don't
<v Speaker 5>have my grip strength about me quite yet when I'm
<v Speaker 5>like making my coffee. And I have dropped complete half
<v Speaker 5>gallons of creamer.
<v Speaker 1>On my floor at 4 in the morning.
<v Speaker 5>And the only thing that's worse than cleaning up all
<v Speaker 5>that is doing it at 4 in the morning.
<v Speaker 1>Before you've had your coffee.
<v Speaker 2>Because you're groggy.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, it's the worst.
<v Speaker 5>So I've spilled a thing of spaghetti sauce, which, again,
<v Speaker 5>that's messy stuff right there, you know?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, this has happened to me multiple times.
<v Speaker 2>The physics behind it, too, is fascinating.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>When it hits, it goes everywhere.
<v Speaker 1>In every direction.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, it's hitting the ceiling.
<v Speaker 3>It's hitting the cabinets. It's on your feet.
<v Speaker 2>One of the worst ones that ever happened to me
<v Speaker 2>was I made some chili in the crock pot. You know,
<v Speaker 2>and there's a big, I mean, a big bowl left
<v Speaker 2>of the chili from the night before. And I opened
<v Speaker 2>up the fridge and that baby flew out of there
<v Speaker 2>and hit the ground and the bowl shattered too. So
<v Speaker 2>then you got shattered glass mixed in with chili that
<v Speaker 2>floods the whole house.
<v Speaker 4>And that just doesn't smell good at that point either. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>And now you got to move.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>Now you have to put a house on the market.
<v Speaker 2>You got to put that on Zillow that there was
<v Speaker 2>an incident in the kitchen with chili.
<v Speaker 4>Smells like chili.
<v Speaker 1>Declare the chili incident before you sell it.
<v Speaker 2>Lord help you. Like, like, um, like you said with
<v Speaker 2>creamer or milk or anything that's like dairy based, if
<v Speaker 2>you don't get it all, like, and if it's going
<v Speaker 2>under the fridge, That's going to be stinky in a
<v Speaker 2>few days.
<v Speaker 1>And it gets in between the stove and the counter.
<v Speaker 5>That stuff will find a way to make its way
<v Speaker 5>into every crook and cranny.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, and dairy is smelly.
<v Speaker 2>Mom drama, mom drama. Llama, llama, mom drama. Oh, this
<v Speaker 2>is so good. There's always so much drama going on
<v Speaker 2>amongst the moms at school, I feel like.
<v Speaker 3>And this one, I think, takes the cake or takes
<v Speaker 3>the Oreo, rather.
<v Speaker 2>There's a viral social media phenomenon going on right now
<v Speaker 2>called Oreo Gate. Now, it all started when a creator
<v Speaker 2>named Ashley shared screenshots of a kindergarten class group chat
<v Speaker 2>where another mother named Michelle... is demanding that all the
<v Speaker 2>other moms stop packing Oreos in their children's lunches.
<v Speaker 1>And other junk food stuff, right?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, specifically focusing on Oreos, though, because Oreos are not
<v Speaker 2>allowed in their house. And her daughter, Ava, came home
<v Speaker 2>crying because the other kids in her class have Oreo
<v Speaker 2>cookies and she wasn't allowed to eat them at home. Now,
<v Speaker 2>there's no allergies or other school rules involved, just a
<v Speaker 2>disagreement over household boundaries. Now, some of the other moms
<v Speaker 2>are starting to push back, but listen to this. Here's
<v Speaker 2>what Michelle did over the cookies. Michelle emailed the kindergarten
<v Speaker 2>teacher demanding that the school implement a strict approved snack list,
<v Speaker 2>and the school flatly denied her request. Then, unwilling to
<v Speaker 2>accept defeat, she reportedly got into the school somehow, maybe
<v Speaker 2>doing something in the classrooms, and she actually searched through
<v Speaker 2>some of the other children's lunch boxes to see what
<v Speaker 2>was in there, looking for Oreos. She demanded that the
<v Speaker 2>school and the teacher seat her daughter, Ava, away from
<v Speaker 2>any of the Oreo lovers during lunchtime so Ava would
<v Speaker 2>not be tempted to And the other moms are fired
<v Speaker 2>up over this. Yeah. They're like, what the hell are
<v Speaker 2>you doing, Michelle? You can't tell us what we can
<v Speaker 2>and cannot pack in our kids' lunches. Now, furious over this,
<v Speaker 2>a separate. uh text thread was formed amongst some of
<v Speaker 2>the other mom squad members and here's what they did
<v Speaker 2>during the sidebar chat they all agreed to collectively pack
<v Speaker 2>Two or more Oreos in every single kid's lunch the
<v Speaker 2>next day. So they upped the amount of Oreos. And
<v Speaker 2>one mother intentionally upgraded her kid to double stuffed Oreos
<v Speaker 2>to maximize Michelle's frustration. I am loving the drama back
<v Speaker 2>and forth here.
<v Speaker 5>Right?
<v Speaker 2>So that's kind of the question out there this morning. Like,
<v Speaker 2>does Michelle have a leg to stand on here with
<v Speaker 2>demanding that the school, the teachers, these other moms stop
<v Speaker 2>permitting these junk food options in the lunches?
<v Speaker 3>Because it makes her daughter sad?
<v Speaker 5>Are you telling me Michelle actually went into the school
<v Speaker 5>and looked through kids' lunches?
<v Speaker 2>Sounds like it. That's what the story says.
<v Speaker 1>Michelle's got control issues, I think.
<v Speaker 2>And then what's she doing? Taking the Oreos out and
<v Speaker 2>stealing them?
<v Speaker 5>Exactly.
<v Speaker 2>And throwing them in the trash?
<v Speaker 1>No, you know, she's eating those Oreos.
<v Speaker 2>Is that what it is?
<v Speaker 1>You know, you're eating those cookies. That's funny.
<v Speaker 2>Anyway, I'm I'm loving this back and forth. I'm loving
<v Speaker 2>reading about all this. And I'm I know there's probably
<v Speaker 2>people out there on Michelle's side saying, you know what? One,
<v Speaker 2>you got to think about kids health anyway, because that
<v Speaker 2>is consistently lists. On some of the worst products that
<v Speaker 2>you can eat is the Oreo because the amount of
<v Speaker 2>food dye in it and food coloring.
<v Speaker 9>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>So I know there's people out there that are like,
<v Speaker 2>you know what, Michelle's probably right. There should be stricter
<v Speaker 2>guidelines in these schools.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, Michelle's right about her own kid, but Michelle has
<v Speaker 5>no right to preach her judgment on all the other
<v Speaker 5>children who aren't hers.
<v Speaker 1>That's my opinion about that.
<v Speaker 2>I know, but as a courtesy, don't you think the
<v Speaker 2>other moms should just kind of band together and be like,
<v Speaker 2>you know what, as a courtesy, we're all, you know,
<v Speaker 2>it's the community. It takes the village. shouldn't they all
<v Speaker 2>just be like, all right, we'll just stop packing Oreos.
<v Speaker 2>Our kids probably shouldn't be eating those anyway.
<v Speaker 4>I don't know.
<v Speaker 5>I think that's a huge reach of an ask for Michelle.
<v Speaker 5>I think that's way too much for her to ask.
<v Speaker 5>And truthfully, I feel like, you know, I have stopped
<v Speaker 5>having expectations for other people. Because when you stop, Michelle,
<v Speaker 5>expecting everyone to do what you expect them to do,
<v Speaker 5>your life gets a lot easier, you know? And so
<v Speaker 5>I think that, again, Michelle has a problem with control,
<v Speaker 5>and that is the real issue here, not what the
<v Speaker 5>kids are eating.
<v Speaker 1>It's about Michelle.
<v Speaker 2>It's a big ask on her part, but it's the whole,
<v Speaker 2>you know, you don't get it unless you ask for it, too. So,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, she's putting herself out there.
<v Speaker 1>I guess.
<v Speaker 2>What do you think? What side are you on? Are
<v Speaker 2>you on Michelle's side who is saying, hey, we need
<v Speaker 2>to ban Oreos and all the lunches? please help another
<v Speaker 2>mom out. Or are you on the side of Ashley
<v Speaker 2>and her other mom squad who is just packing double
<v Speaker 2>stuffs now and saying, screw you, baby.
<v Speaker 1>I love Ashley.
<v Speaker 2>Now you get five Oreos. I mean, that's bad on
<v Speaker 2>the kid. Then the kid's pounding down five Oreos at lunch,
<v Speaker 2>and they shouldn't be doing that either.
<v Speaker 1>And here's some Gushers.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, right.
<v Speaker 2>Wash it down with Diet Coke or something. Here is Sarah. Hi, Sarah.
<v Speaker 2>Welcome to the show.
<v Speaker 9>Hi, thanks for having me.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, you betcha. Okay, so whose side are you on?
<v Speaker 2>Are you on side Oreo, or are you on side
<v Speaker 2>no Oreo, or side double stuff?
<v Speaker 9>Well, I'm on side double stuff, but I also.
<v Speaker 8>Think there's a subtext that we're missing.
<v Speaker 4>Okay.
<v Speaker 9>I think Michelle is trying to prevent her daughter from
<v Speaker 9>feeling sad.
<v Speaker 8>Yeah.
<v Speaker 10>That she doesn't have the Oreos.
<v Speaker 8>And I think parents do that all the time, but
<v Speaker 8>it's completely unrealistic.
<v Speaker 2>It is. Can't you just find something that makes Ava
<v Speaker 2>happy in her lunch and just give her more of
<v Speaker 2>that then?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 9>Yeah, or teach her how to process sadness.
<v Speaker 1>There's also that.
<v Speaker 2>You're going to have sadness all through your life, sweet Ava.
<v Speaker 1>Wait until you're an adult.
<v Speaker 2>Suck it up.
<v Speaker 6>100%.
<v Speaker 9>It's Oreos now. It's losing a job the next time.
<v Speaker 2>Right. Exactly. That's exactly it. Losing a pet. Losing a friend.
<v Speaker 2>This is minor in the world of sadness, right?
<v Speaker 1>It really is. 100%.
<v Speaker 2>So I am putting you on team double stuff. No,
<v Speaker 2>don't cave to Michelle's wishes, right?
<v Speaker 10>And add the Gushers.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, Michelle.
<v Speaker 2>Plus Gushers.
<v Speaker 1>Sarah knows what's up. You've got to listen to Sarah, Michelle.
<v Speaker 2>Sarah, thank you so.
<v Speaker 1>Much for calling in.
<v Speaker 2>Here is Chris. Hi, Chris.
<v Speaker 9>Hi.
<v Speaker 10>We'll go ahead and say I'm definitely team Double Stuff.
<v Speaker 10>No spoiler there.
<v Speaker 1>Just want to start it with that.
<v Speaker 2>I'd like to announce to the entire Denver Metro that
<v Speaker 2>Chris loves Double Stuff.
<v Speaker 4>All right, buddy.
<v Speaker 2>What are your thoughts on this, though?
<v Speaker 10>I want to also add they do have healthier options
<v Speaker 10>to where you can actually trick your kid. They think
<v Speaker 10>they're eating unhealthy snacks, but they're actually eating plant-based stuff
<v Speaker 10>and don't even know it.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, now you're really going to piss that poor Ava off.
<v Speaker 1>Do they have plant-based Oreos now?
<v Speaker 6>Yuck.
<v Speaker 2>Yuck all day long.
<v Speaker 4>How dare you even bring that up?
<v Speaker 10>And get them to actually sneak healthier options into their child.
<v Speaker 10>All right.
<v Speaker 4>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Kids are pretty smart. They're going to be like, what
<v Speaker 2>is this crap? This tastes like a plant. But in general, Chris,
<v Speaker 2>like besides the healthier options, which side are you on team?
<v Speaker 3>Well, you are on team double stuff. So what's your
<v Speaker 3>reasoning behind that?
<v Speaker 10>Well, I'm kind of anti just some weird, creepy parents
<v Speaker 10>sneaking into kids' lunch boxes and touching all their food
<v Speaker 10>and spreading COVID-19. Yes!
<v Speaker 4>Is that what they're doing? That's odd.
<v Speaker 1>Michelle's got issues, right, Chris? Like, that's an odd thing.
<v Speaker 10>She's a little cray-cray.
<v Speaker 4>Yes, she is!
<v Speaker 2>She's off a rocker. She's a little sus, as the
<v Speaker 2>kids say. All right, Chris, we got you on Team
<v Speaker 2>Double Stuff. We appreciate you calling in. Here's Marcy. Hi, Marcy.
<v Speaker 9>Hello. How are you today?
<v Speaker 2>Well, we're kind of craving some Oreos now. I know.
<v Speaker 9>I mean, me too. It's one of my favorites. You
<v Speaker 9>know what? I'm a dietician, and I think it's insane
<v Speaker 9>to not eat Oreos. I think it's all part of
<v Speaker 9>a healthy diet, putting everything in there. And to start
<v Speaker 9>doing that, you're causing some eating disorders for your kiddo.
<v Speaker 9>Let it go. Figure out what's going to make your
<v Speaker 9>kid happy. And what are you going to do when
<v Speaker 9>the kid goes to high school? What are you going
<v Speaker 9>to have the kids do then? Like every step is
<v Speaker 9>going to be harder and harder for this poor kid. Yeah.
<v Speaker 8>Right.
<v Speaker 2>You're not gonna be able to monitor it in high
<v Speaker 2>school at all. I remember in high school, I had
<v Speaker 2>French fries every single day for like four years.
<v Speaker 1>That vending machine saw me daily, Marcy. Like it was, you.
<v Speaker 9>Couldn't stop me. Seriously, model, model your behavior at home
<v Speaker 9>and then let her learn how to eat and be social. Yeah.
<v Speaker 9>You're putting her in a social box by herself.
<v Speaker 2>She's alienating her child for sure.
<v Speaker 1>I think so.
<v Speaker 2>All day long. I think so. And this is coming
<v Speaker 2>from a dietician right here.
<v Speaker 9>This is coming from a dietician, yes. And are you
<v Speaker 9>allowed to go through other kids' backpacks?
<v Speaker 6>I know.
<v Speaker 2>I think she was caught, so yeah. Cuckoo party of one.
<v Speaker 9>I think that's a bigger issue than the Oreo.
<v Speaker 2>I agree.
<v Speaker 3>Marcy, what are your thoughts on the plant-based Oreos?
<v Speaker 1>You know what?
<v Speaker 9>If you want them, have them. But I'm all about
<v Speaker 9>if you're going to eat it, eat the real thing.
<v Speaker 4>Absolutely.
<v Speaker 2>I'd rather throw myself into traffic than to eat the
<v Speaker 2>plant-based one.
<v Speaker 9>I just want the Oreo, dip it in the milk,
<v Speaker 9>and call it a day.
<v Speaker 3>Marcy, we appreciate your call so very much.
<v Speaker 2>We are out of time, but I can tell you
<v Speaker 2>right now, everybody else on hold is essentially on Team
<v Speaker 2>Double Stuff.
<v Speaker 8>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>So don't cave to crazy Michelle.
<v Speaker 2>Don't do it.
<v Speaker 5>No.
<v Speaker 2>Thank you so much for your calls and comments today,
<v Speaker 2>you guys. I hope this one brought you a smile.
<v Speaker 2>With JKJ here at Mix.
<v Speaker 7>That sound right there means it's time for a Mix
<v Speaker 7>100 sports report. Getting you updated on all the big
<v Speaker 7>sports news of the day. Points and stats and baseball bats.
<v Speaker 1>Because it's sports.
<v Speaker 2>Josh, what's going on over there at Coors Field?
<v Speaker 4>I love how that voice has evolved over this.
<v Speaker 2>It changes every day, doesn't it?
<v Speaker 4>I love it.
<v Speaker 6>The Rockies are in a pretty historic losing slump now.
<v Speaker 4>They've lost seven in a row. They did win a
<v Speaker 4>couple nights ago.
<v Speaker 6>But in order to keep fans around at the stadium,
<v Speaker 6>they've had to really kind of think outside the box
<v Speaker 6>in the food that they've brought in. At the beginning
<v Speaker 6>of this season, they brought in the 9-9-9 challenge where
<v Speaker 6>you drink nine beers, eat nine hot dogs. They brought
<v Speaker 6>in the ballpark Dubai cinnamon roll, the pizza donuts, the
<v Speaker 6>brisket taco. Well, they're actually bringing in something new with
<v Speaker 6>only 16 home games left in the season. It's called
<v Speaker 6>a buffalo chicken donut, and it is a glazed donut
<v Speaker 6>topped with buffalo chicken and the buffalo sauce and then
<v Speaker 6>a cream ranch on the top as well.
<v Speaker 4>It actually looks kind of appetizing. I know your face, Katie,
<v Speaker 4>right now, but if you look at it, it's something
<v Speaker 4>I might try.
<v Speaker 2>There's a Hidden Valley Ranch party in my mouth.
<v Speaker 5>So Parlor Donuts does something like that, and I've wanted
<v Speaker 5>to try them so bad.
<v Speaker 2>Chicken on a donut?
<v Speaker 1>A pizza donut. They do all the savory donuts. They
<v Speaker 1>have a whole lineup of them.
<v Speaker 2>I'm not mad.
<v Speaker 1>At first, I was like, a buffalo chicken donut.
<v Speaker 2>I want it stuffed, though. I would rather have the
<v Speaker 2>chicken inside than on top.
<v Speaker 1>It's not stuffed.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, yeah. the hole.
<v Speaker 4>It is.
<v Speaker 2>It looks like it's just sitting on top of the donut.
<v Speaker 4>Well, it goes in, too.
<v Speaker 2>I'll settle down over there, middle schooler. Sorry. It's all
<v Speaker 2>sitting on top. It does look like they jam it
<v Speaker 2>all in the middle of that donut, though, and it's
<v Speaker 2>like oozing out.
<v Speaker 1>It's going to get all messy. You're going to have
<v Speaker 1>to fold that baby.
<v Speaker 2>In half anyway. I want it in the donut.
<v Speaker 4>It looks good to me.
<v Speaker 2>Baked in the donut. You know how like Pizza Hut
<v Speaker 2>does the stuffed crust pizza?
<v Speaker 9>Yes.
<v Speaker 3>We need a stuffed donut full of the buffalo chicken.
<v Speaker 4>That's what I want. It's a kolache. That's what a
<v Speaker 4>kolache is.
<v Speaker 1>The Bismarck donut.
<v Speaker 5>That's what we call it up in North Dakota is
<v Speaker 5>the Bismarck donuts filled with stuff.
<v Speaker 1>We just want ours filled with buffalo chicken.
<v Speaker 4>Color me intrigued. I think I'd try it. I would, too.
<v Speaker 2>How much is it?
<v Speaker 4>Ooh, they don't have a price here. I'm assuming it's expensive.
<v Speaker 1>It's probably $ 25 minimum.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, God, no. You know?
<v Speaker 4>Well, that's more expensive than the tickets are now.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, snap. Can I have your attention, please?
<v Speaker 1>You thought you'd heard it all?
<v Speaker 4>Just when you think you've seen everything.
<v Speaker 2>Nah, not even close.
<v Speaker 1>Who's spiraling?
<v Speaker 2>Who's getting canceled? What's the local buzz?
<v Speaker 1>What can we expect? We're diving headfirst into the chaos.
<v Speaker 1>It's the Mile High Hype.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, what's up, what's up, what's up?
<v Speaker 5>With JKJ on Mix 100.
<v Speaker 2>Well, starting October 1st, your lawn is going to be
<v Speaker 2>so thirsty. The Denver Water Board is saying that is
<v Speaker 2>the cutoff date. They are banning all automatic and manual
<v Speaker 2>lawn sprinklers October 1st of 2026. And you can't turn
<v Speaker 2>them back on until spring of 2027. No, they're doing it.
<v Speaker 2>Because the drought is so darn bad right now. Now,
<v Speaker 2>you can still hand water. You can still hand water
<v Speaker 2>some of your trees or shrubs or flowers or vegetable
<v Speaker 2>gardens and Some parks and sports fields, sports ball fields,
<v Speaker 2>they've got some exemptions. But listen, if they catch you
<v Speaker 2>watering your lawn, you're going to receive a warning up front.
<v Speaker 2>And then second time, $ 250. Third time, $ 500. Fourth time, $ 1, 000.
<v Speaker 2>So this is your heads up starting October 1st. No
<v Speaker 2>more watering of your lawns. One of Colorado's biggest end-of-summer
<v Speaker 2>traditions begins tomorrow in Pueblo and then runs through Labor Day.
<v Speaker 3>It is the Colorado State Fair.
<v Speaker 2>It's 11 days of carnival rides and livestock competitions. They're
<v Speaker 2>going to have all sorts of fair food, hello funnel cakes,
<v Speaker 2>and rodeos and concerts and all sorts of fun stuff.
<v Speaker 2>So that'll be going on. And then speaking of fairs,
<v Speaker 2>the Iowa State Fair has been going on, and they
<v Speaker 2>hosted their annual, very popular, Mom Calling Contest, where kids
<v Speaker 2>belted out hilarious, spot-on impressions trying to get their mom's attention.
<v Speaker 2>I happened to pull a little bit of audio. Moms,
<v Speaker 2>you might want to cover your ears. Here you go. Mom,
<v Speaker 2>come get married on my ribs! Mom, when's dinner ready?
<v Speaker 1>Mom, Mom, Mamacita, don't make me call Grandma.
<v Speaker 8>Mom, I cleaned up my room.
<v Speaker 7>Mom, come here.
<v Speaker 2>My PlayStation's not working and the Fortnite update is in
<v Speaker 2>two minutes. Mom, Mom, Tina! Oh my God, I would
<v Speaker 2>walk out of that competition. But anyway, it's a blast
<v Speaker 2>each and every year at the Iowa State Fair. Kind
<v Speaker 2>of fun. Katie, what you got?
<v Speaker 5>Okay, well, we've got the beast in a blanket. This
<v Speaker 5>is coming to Empower Field at Mile High.
<v Speaker 1>So this season.
<v Speaker 5>It's a pig in a blanket that is leveled up,
<v Speaker 5>so it is massive. A two-foot grilled hot dog with
<v Speaker 5>barbecue brisket burnt ends. It's got goat cheese, sharp cheddar,
<v Speaker 5>all enveloped in a puff pastry. And then it's got
<v Speaker 5>crispy onions, jalapeno slices, and avocado crema on top, along
<v Speaker 5>with some Mile High secret sauce. Now, no word on
<v Speaker 5>what this delicious monstrosity is going to cost, but the
<v Speaker 5>Godzilla at Coors Field, that runs $ 50, and that is
<v Speaker 5>very comparable in size and toppings. So they're saying that
<v Speaker 5>that's probably what it's going to be, anywhere from $ 50
<v Speaker 5>to $ 60. But during Bronco Games this season, you can
<v Speaker 5>get yourself a beast in a blanket.
<v Speaker 2>You're going to turn into a puff pastry if you
<v Speaker 2>eat that.
<v Speaker 1>You know what? Well, they expect you to share it.
<v Speaker 5>They think that people are going to get it for
<v Speaker 5>a whole family because it is that big.
<v Speaker 1>Who's doing that? I don't think you're going to eat
<v Speaker 1>this whole thing.
<v Speaker 2>Really?
<v Speaker 4>Look around.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think you're going to eat this whole thing.
<v Speaker 1>It is massive.
<v Speaker 2>It does look awesome, though.
<v Speaker 5>Again, you know, you're probably going to spend a little,
<v Speaker 5>you know, chunk of change when you go to any
<v Speaker 5>games anyway. So if this is, you know, tickling your fancy,
<v Speaker 5>there you go.
<v Speaker 1>There you go.
<v Speaker 2>Tickling your glizzy.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, exactly.
<v Speaker 5>And then just one more, because tonight, Grizzly Rose Ladies
<v Speaker 5>Night in honor of.
<v Speaker 1>The late, great Dolly. Dress like Dolly tonight. And ladies...
<v Speaker 1>From 8.
<v Speaker 5>Until midnight, they're going to have some free drinks for you.
<v Speaker 5>So free draft beer and well drinks from 8 until midnight.
<v Speaker 5>So go tip it on back for Dolly this evening.
<v Speaker 5>We're all still pretty reeling from that. You know, like
<v Speaker 5>that was a hard loss for everybody this week. So
<v Speaker 5>go celebrate Dolly and everything she was. Grizzly Bros tonight.
<v Speaker 1>There you go. There's your Ma Hai Hai.
<v Speaker 7>Don't be such a chicken squad.
<v Speaker 2>What time are those free drinks at?
<v Speaker 1>8 to midnight for those free drinks for the ladies.
<v Speaker 2>8 to midnight free drinks?
<v Speaker 6>Woo!
<v Speaker 2>Somebody getting pregnant tonight.
<v Speaker 1>She's got the mic, the moxie, and a brain full
<v Speaker 1>of Dr. Phil reruns.
<v Speaker 4>She's on me like a duck on a dune bug.
<v Speaker 6>But can you take down Katie in pop culture smackdown?
<v Speaker 1>This is Katie Crush.
<v Speaker 2>I'll tell you, it's hard because Katie watches roughly 14
<v Speaker 2>hours of Netflix every day. So she's pretty tapped in.
<v Speaker 2>Here's Chloe. Hi, Chloe.
<v Speaker 11>Hi, how's it going?
<v Speaker 1>Whoa!
<v Speaker 2>It's really good now that you called. You're all bubbly.
<v Speaker 1>Love it.
<v Speaker 8>Yeah, oh my gosh, I'm so excited to play.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, we're excited to have you. Thank you for listening
<v Speaker 2>and calling in. Tell us all about yourself.
<v Speaker 11>Okay, so I live in Longmont, and I'm a teacher.
<v Speaker 11>So I teach special education students K through high school.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, well, you basically won. I'm going to give you
<v Speaker 2>the prize. We don't even need to play the game. Amazing.
<v Speaker 1>You're a good human.
<v Speaker 2>Thank you for doing that.
<v Speaker 9>Oh, thank you.
<v Speaker 11>I love it.
<v Speaker 1>I love Longmont, too, Chloe. That's where my daughter was born.
<v Speaker 1>So I've got a.
<v Speaker 5>Special place in my heart for Longmont and Long's Peak
<v Speaker 5>and that whole area there.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, it's beautiful.
<v Speaker 9>Oh, yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Now you can get into Katie's bank account because one
<v Speaker 2>of the questions is, where was your daughter born? You
<v Speaker 2>can put Longmont and get.
<v Speaker 5>Into her bank.
<v Speaker 9>Cool.
<v Speaker 5>Awesome.
<v Speaker 11>All I need is your maiden name.
<v Speaker 3>Exactly.
<v Speaker 1>Last four on my social, you know, all that stuff.
<v Speaker 2>Chloe, I would imagine that's probably a fairly involved and
<v Speaker 2>heavy job from time to time. Do you do anything
<v Speaker 2>for fun on the side?
<v Speaker 11>Yeah, I actually play pool. I'm in two pool leagues
<v Speaker 11>up here in Longmont, and I play Ultimate Frisbee. So
<v Speaker 11>I'm in some, like, adult sports league.
<v Speaker 2>You're, like, awesome all the way around. Yeah.
<v Speaker 11>Thank you.
<v Speaker 2>I got a buddy that does competitive pool, and he's
<v Speaker 2>always going to Las Vegas and all the pool competitions
<v Speaker 2>out there.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, it's intense.
<v Speaker 2>Well, Miss Chloe, I'm going to give you and Katie
<v Speaker 2>the same five pop culture trivia questions. Best out of
<v Speaker 2>five wins. Ties go to Katie because she made up
<v Speaker 2>the rules. Anything you want to say, Katie Kat?
<v Speaker 9>Oh, yeah.
<v Speaker 5>With the teacher background, Chloe, I hope you can teach
<v Speaker 5>me a lesson today.
<v Speaker 2>Good luck. Get out of here.
<v Speaker 4>Get out of here.
<v Speaker 9>All right.
<v Speaker 2>So Katie leaves the studio, Chloe. She goes into a
<v Speaker 2>room where she can't hear anything. And I come up
<v Speaker 2>with a question so there's no cheating. And then we'll
<v Speaker 2>find out if you're right or wrong once we bring
<v Speaker 2>her back in. But let's go ahead and get started.
<v Speaker 2>I need you to name one of the two brand-new
<v Speaker 2>popcorn buckets for the new Avengers movie coming out.
<v Speaker 11>Ooh, I'm going to say the Thanos bucket.
<v Speaker 2>All right. Let me put it on here. And your
<v Speaker 2>second question. What pop star's fans... Famously trade friendship bracelets
<v Speaker 2>at her concerts.
<v Speaker 11>Taylor Swift.
<v Speaker 1>Tay-Tay.
<v Speaker 2>Here's your third question. Costco has not changed the price
<v Speaker 2>of this combo for something like 40 years.
<v Speaker 11>Oh, it's the Kirkland hot dog and drink.
<v Speaker 4>All right.
<v Speaker 2>Glizzy's for days. Glizzy's. Glizzy's. Here's your fourth question. What
<v Speaker 2>shampoo slash conditioner brand was dubbed a truly organic experience?
<v Speaker 11>Oh, I'm going to say.
<v Speaker 2>I said organic.
<v Speaker 11>Organic. I'm going to say nature's organic shampoo.
<v Speaker 2>I'll put you down for nature's natural something. All right,
<v Speaker 2>and here's your fifth and final question. Which one of
<v Speaker 2>these is the title of an animated superhero film that
<v Speaker 2>Disney released back in 2025? All right, check that, 2015. Now,
<v Speaker 2>it's multiple choice. Was it Big Hero 12, Big Hero 9,
<v Speaker 2>Big Hero 10, Big Hero 6?
<v Speaker 11>Big Hero 6.
<v Speaker 10>All right, let's bring.
<v Speaker 2>Katie Capp back in.
<v Speaker 1>Hi, Katie! Hi, Jeremy! Hi, Josh!
<v Speaker 2>Hello, Chloe! I'm going to have to have a question
<v Speaker 2>on one of these, but we'll go ahead and get started. Okay.
<v Speaker 2>Let me write down how many Chloe... I think she got.
<v Speaker 2>All right, Katie, here's your first question. Name one of
<v Speaker 2>the two new popcorn buckets for the new Avengers movie
<v Speaker 2>coming out.
<v Speaker 1>Is it an Avenger?
<v Speaker 2>I need you to be a Pacific. So I'm going
<v Speaker 2>to say no.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I don't know that one.
<v Speaker 2>Here's the thing. The two buckets are an Iron Man
<v Speaker 2>head and then the nano gauntlet. It's the glove with
<v Speaker 2>all the Infinity Stones, which is what Thanos wore. Do
<v Speaker 2>I give it to you?
<v Speaker 1>Did Chloe say Thanos?
<v Speaker 2>Okay, you taught me.
<v Speaker 5>Okay.
<v Speaker 3>Just because you're kind of turning me on with all that, yes.
<v Speaker 1>That's amazing. I love that.
<v Speaker 2>All right, I gave it to you, Chloe.
<v Speaker 4>Okay.
<v Speaker 2>Are you still there? Are you okay?
<v Speaker 9>Yeah, I'm still here.
<v Speaker 8>I'm, like, listening on the radio, too, just listening to myself.
<v Speaker 5>Oh, okay.
<v Speaker 3>You're probably getting, like, a crazy echo, so.
<v Speaker 9>All right.
<v Speaker 10>That's so funny.
<v Speaker 9>Yes!
<v Speaker 2>Katie, what pop star's fans famously trade friendship bracelets at
<v Speaker 2>her concerts? Tay-Tay. Chloe, you said that too.
<v Speaker 1>Yay, Chloe. I love her.
<v Speaker 2>Costco has not changed the price of this combo for
<v Speaker 2>over 40 years, I believe.
<v Speaker 1>Is it the pizza one? The pizza and the drink, right?
<v Speaker 8>No.
<v Speaker 1>What?
<v Speaker 2>Chloe, what did you say?
<v Speaker 11>I said the big hot dog and the drink.
<v Speaker 9>Oh.
<v Speaker 2>Chloe knows hot dogs.
<v Speaker 11>I love my glizzies.
<v Speaker 2>She loves her glizzies. I want to be friends with you, Chloe.
<v Speaker 2>You're fun.
<v Speaker 4>I like you a lot. All right, Katie.
<v Speaker 11>I'm so glad to this station.
<v Speaker 2>All right. Yeah, we'll hang out. Bring some hot dogs.
<v Speaker 1>All right.
<v Speaker 2>Katie, what shampoo slash conditioner brand was dubbed a truly
<v Speaker 2>organic experience?
<v Speaker 1>It was Herbal Essence, right?
<v Speaker 9>Yes. Yes.
<v Speaker 2>They sounded like Chloe with the yes, yes, yes.
<v Speaker 3>Chloe said natural, natural, natural something.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 11>You have herbal essence shampoo, too.
<v Speaker 2>Do you? What is it called?
<v Speaker 3>It sounds like you do. I'll tell you that much.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I know.
<v Speaker 2>All right, Katie. Which of these is the title of
<v Speaker 2>an animated superhero Disney film that was released back in 2015?
<v Speaker 2>It's multiple choice here. Big Hero 12, Big Hero 9,
<v Speaker 2>Big Hero 10, Big Hero 6.
<v Speaker 1>The 10 one? Uh, no.
<v Speaker 2>Chloe got Big Hero 6.
<v Speaker 4>Oh, yeah.
<v Speaker 1>You know what, though?
<v Speaker 2>Chloe.
<v Speaker 11>Oh, my God.
<v Speaker 4>I'm so excited.
<v Speaker 6>Are you?
<v Speaker 2>Why? Why are you so excited?
<v Speaker 11>Because I think I got more points.
<v Speaker 2>Well, including the one I gave you there about the
<v Speaker 2>popcorn bucket. You got four.
<v Speaker 4>Katie got two.
<v Speaker 2>You officially crushed Katie. Yes!
<v Speaker 8>Oh, my God!
<v Speaker 11>I'm so excited.
<v Speaker 1>We are so excited for you. Like, this is amazing.
<v Speaker 2>I like you, Chloe. I like you.
<v Speaker 8>I like you guys.
<v Speaker 11>You guys are the best. This is my favorite radio station.
<v Speaker 11>You guys are so good.
<v Speaker 2>You're so sweet.
<v Speaker 5>Thanks, Chloe.
<v Speaker 1>You're pretty great, too.
<v Speaker 2>Well, come on.
<v Speaker 3>You have an awesome gig.
<v Speaker 2>You're a good human. So I am happy to hand
<v Speaker 2>you these passes to Alamo Drafthouse, including a snack pass.
<v Speaker 2>You can go get some snacks.
<v Speaker 11>Oh, yeah, I think I'm going to have to get
<v Speaker 11>the Thanos bucket.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, you better get that big bucket. Chloe, you were delightful.
<v Speaker 2>Thank you so much for calling in and having us on.
<v Speaker 2>I'm going to put you back on hold, and then
<v Speaker 2>we're going to come back and tell you how to
<v Speaker 2>get those passes, all right?
<v Speaker 1>Awesome.
<v Speaker 11>Thank you so much, you guys. Have a great day.
<v Speaker 2>You as well.
<v Speaker 1>Bye, Chloe.
<v Speaker 4>She's awesome.
<v Speaker 1>She was the best.
<v Speaker 4>So good.
