[SPEAKER_04]: Late night tonight.
[SPEAKER_04]: Where is she?
[SPEAKER_04]: A fellow cop leads pepper into a trap on police woman.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's fair.
[SPEAKER_04]: Michael Mery.
[SPEAKER_04]: Brady.
[SPEAKER_04]: Brady.
[SPEAKER_04]: You can listen to the Michael Mero Show at TMOs.com or anywhere find podcasts or fun.
[SPEAKER_04]: Welcome to our show.
[SPEAKER_04]: We're going to start with the race.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's got to be fucking looking at my phone.
[SPEAKER_04]: There's plenty for everyone.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's the Michael Mero Show with Michael Mero.
[SPEAKER_04]: Bye!
[SPEAKER_04]: Josh Rooka!
[SPEAKER_04]: And Rob Spinoet.
[SPEAKER_06]: it's only the beginning and now here's Mike I don't know if it's only the beginning I'm not sure I would say it like that I'd say it's from one of our cases or you know like wrapping up my portion of the show but then you know can you update that Rob it's almost the end
[SPEAKER_06]: It's almost the end, it is for you, you two guys are full steam ahead.
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I wish you both worked this hard when it was my name on the show, you know what I mean?
[SPEAKER_06]: I've never seen anything, I've never seen anything.
[SPEAKER_06]: Bullshit, I watch that, you know, I'm watching this everywhere I see the, the still talking this and that and all that.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm not dead yet for God's sake.
[SPEAKER_07]: Bring your algorithm.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, I'm glad we're in your algorithm.
[SPEAKER_06]: Now I have to actually search it out.
[SPEAKER_06]: I have to do a deep dive on it because I'm, you know, what you should do is you should favor it us.
[SPEAKER_06]: I think I'm doing enough for you, over time, really do, you know.
[SPEAKER_06]: And I'm deferring to YouTube because you're continuing on and doing more of a extensive, you're basically doing the podcast, which is, I am thrilled at that to be honest with you.
[SPEAKER_06]: I am.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm not.
[SPEAKER_06]: This is different that if I was going to another gig.
[SPEAKER_06]: This is me going to, you know, if what I would like to do,
[SPEAKER_06]: is a short form interview, which will be probably weekly, but I haven't dialed it in yet.
[SPEAKER_06]: You too, obviously we're talking about this long before I retired.
[SPEAKER_06]: Long before Josh was hired.
[SPEAKER_06]: That hit long before.
[SPEAKER_07]: long before it was going on, you know, we told Oscar to freak out and yell at you exactly could get this all in motion.
[SPEAKER_07]: All part of the map is a little slower than we planned, but we got there.
[SPEAKER_06]: But you know, I'm happy that, you know, it's going it.
[SPEAKER_06]: But I'm happy to a point in my the non-petty part of me, the non-petty part of me is happy for you the
[SPEAKER_06]: you know, petty, jealous person is, you know, God Almighty, look at this, it's all I see.
[SPEAKER_06]: It's all I see on my feet, it's all I see on my mind.
[SPEAKER_07]: Well, when you search for it, that's all you're going to see.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, well, that's when I get obsessed with it a little bit.
[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I don't think there's that much out there, but yes, we have had to lay some foundations so that we are prepared when you leave.
[SPEAKER_07]: We didn't want it to be a fall apart and then we have to pick up the pieces.
[SPEAKER_06]: No, it's in, you know, and we believe that I think the people should know behind the scenes that we've all talked about this and what can you show me or did you try the shorts on yet?
[SPEAKER_06]: They fit awesome.
[SPEAKER_06]: Anyway, that's my kid.
[SPEAKER_06]: I picked him up from golf practice today.
[SPEAKER_06]: So yeah, the show, working title of the show is still talking, not the working title.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's what you're going to call.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's already locked in.
[SPEAKER_06]: Mine a little more cagey.
[SPEAKER_06]: because we haven't, the don't know.
[SPEAKER_06]: God if I, I don't need that, I don't need that, you know.
[SPEAKER_07]: But the number of people that expect that and push for that and want that.
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, anytime there's a transition, they want to use that as an opportunity to bring back something that's impossible.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_05]: And it's impossible.
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, why is it impossible?
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, it's not impossible, but with your new format that you just explained, I'm not sure.
[SPEAKER_06]: You're not talking about me.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm talking about you.
[SPEAKER_06]: Not talking about me.
[SPEAKER_06]: This is on you.
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh.
[SPEAKER_06]: Impossible.
[SPEAKER_06]: Why is it impossible for him to not join you?
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, one must be invited.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: And we're not unfailing that until February.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
[SPEAKER_06]: Why don't you just want to let you who, you know, the Christian, you know, you want to just, you know, keep the boner down for a second.
[SPEAKER_06]: And let me talk to my, my long time associate over here.
[SPEAKER_06]: All right, just like to push you.
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_06]: So you're talking about it one has to be like he has to be invited.
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, yeah, I mean, there's no you have to be invited.
[SPEAKER_05]: No, no, I would say there would be no chance of of Don coming on the new show.
[SPEAKER_05]: Although we've learned.
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not the trauma is to.
[SPEAKER_06]: still fresh.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, believe it or not after I'm not putting you in that situation because I've asked if I was going to put you on the spot.
[SPEAKER_06]: I said well, why is that Rob?
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm not doing that too.
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, because it would be I'll tell you what it would be a step backwards.
[SPEAKER_05]: you know, it's we've gone past those days and we've learned in a recent interview that he's very eager to get back on the air and to do a project, but that I don't think Gi's was what we're going to do.
[SPEAKER_07]: And there's no room for Don and Beth Ann both on the show.
[SPEAKER_05]: That's right.
[SPEAKER_06]: Now that we've hired our producer, the the the truth of the matter as far as the way
[SPEAKER_06]: when when when when I came in to talk to the guys about it, I did not have anxiety about it at all going in.
[SPEAKER_06]: I really didn't that's that's the truth.
[SPEAKER_06]: And that's not because I didn't care.
[SPEAKER_06]: It's because I knew kind of that we we communicated enough where we all know where we stand.
[SPEAKER_06]: And in Josh's case, Josh reminded me that we'd have had a very specific discussion about that going forward.
[SPEAKER_06]: But you know, I think Rob referenced it, you know, my retirement coming up in January that
[SPEAKER_06]: You know, it was kind of cool the way it was as seamless as it is, you know, and that is something, and then, you know, Carla being the scapec or the she is, you know, points to this post shortly thereafter, because I don't know when the graphics hit online, you know, Carla has this tone, you know, which was, did you know anything about this?
[SPEAKER_06]: I looked at it as Carla, I'm retiring.
[SPEAKER_06]: Do you understand what that means?
[SPEAKER_06]: But the tone was, you know, did you know anything about that?
[SPEAKER_06]: Look what they're doing, look what they're doing.
[SPEAKER_06]: They're doing that with a first of all with your vote on that.
[SPEAKER_06]: But not that you need it.
[SPEAKER_06]: No, but not necessarily for me to give my blessing.
[SPEAKER_06]: It's not, you're on, you know, you're able to do that's kind of the way it is.
[SPEAKER_06]: But it was very cool the way
[SPEAKER_06]: we all discussed what was going to happen and uh... you know that that's it i i think what you say it's true we don't require blessing but i will say this it's great to have your blessing i i feel very good i want it i think that uh... you know it's the dynamic that you two have developed uh...
[SPEAKER_06]: it'll be a totally well you get a taste of it once a week now where you guys do a show on thursday and that's what that's what I use as an example to people as your blessing is given us the thursdays yeah i think it's going to end up and and i want to you know you know i want that i think for anybody i've worked with in the past Rob knows this
[SPEAKER_06]: That's what I wanted.
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, when it's time for me, I'd like, you know, it's kind of cool to leave something that's going to keep on chugging and, you know, and go kick ass and to not have an ugly parting because that's no fun either because we've had enough of those exactly.
[SPEAKER_06]: We've had tons of those and those in common in the broadcast industry, they're common and usually they're common because of suits and executives.
[SPEAKER_06]: In our case, they've been common because of the way people have been, you know, handled.
[SPEAKER_06]: you know, it's not fun.
[SPEAKER_06]: Nobody likes doing that.
[SPEAKER_06]: Nobody likes it to get to end ugly like it has.
[SPEAKER_06]: Although when Mark left to eronic left and buzz left,
[SPEAKER_06]: it ended ugly, but only in such a way that it was just sneaky, would that be accurate that it was just kind of like, and I think we didn't have a big blow up on the air where he stormed out or I stormed out or you stormed out.
[SPEAKER_06]: As the industry will show Mike, I don't remember the details that you can help.
[SPEAKER_05]: The, if there were any ill feelings, it was Buzz's second time he quit.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, exactly because remember he stepped down and then I think all of us to a person said, you know, you're thrown away something good here.
[SPEAKER_05]: We want you to be a part of it and we talk to him into coming back, then the sneakiness began.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_05]: And again, you know what, it's hard to fault someone from tried for trying to better themselves, but the sneaking as we didn't like.
[SPEAKER_05]: But it wasn't a knock-down drag-out screaming punch-fast at all.
[SPEAKER_05]: It was just next chapter.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: And we've already laid out that you're going to be involved in a next chapter.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I'm going to have you over.
[SPEAKER_06]: At the minimum, I will, you know, come on just to shoot the shit and at the maximum, I'll come on to promote what I'm doing.
[SPEAKER_06]: I want to do, as I said, I want to do a short form interview.
[SPEAKER_06]: You know, I'd love, I'd love, love it to be weekly.
[SPEAKER_06]: That would make me very, very happy.
[SPEAKER_05]: And you're calling it straight talk, right?
[SPEAKER_06]: I got a name for it.
[SPEAKER_06]: I haven't done all the the background stuff yet open phone America Well, we're doing we're actually doing it.
[SPEAKER_06]: It's not going to be a listener Interviews.
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_06]: Although that's I shouldn't say that it'll be anybody.
[SPEAKER_06]: I have an ability to You know request a lot of weird stuff.
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't do it on this show because I've got you guys to talk to every day, but the idea of
[SPEAKER_06]: I've always thought that along with the impressions, something that I wish, when you do a two person show, you can't do it with Don, I couldn't really spread my wings on it, but I love love, love, maybe because I have a journalism background, I love interviewing people about anything.
[SPEAKER_05]: I just, the name, still Mike, now, still Mike in.
[SPEAKER_06]: No, it's, no.
[SPEAKER_06]: I've already taken care of that, but thank you.
[SPEAKER_06]: It's something that that when I look at the formats that are existing from some of these meandering two and a half hour podcasts that have guys shooting the book, I like it to be tight bright, out of sight, and on and done.
[SPEAKER_06]: And I hope that is very simple.
[SPEAKER_06]: The first thing I can pull off.
[SPEAKER_05]: Who is most guilty of that is Pete Holmes.
[SPEAKER_05]: He has a podcast called You Made It Weird, and every I commit a stand-up comedian has a podcast.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, Mike, he does.
[SPEAKER_05]: And every episode is like two and a half to three hours.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_05]: And you know, I wanted to give it a listen because I thought he was funny.
[SPEAKER_05]: He was very nice fellow.
[SPEAKER_05]: And I listened to it.
[SPEAKER_05]: And after 90 minutes, I just said,
[SPEAKER_05]: I've had enough.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_05]: This is too much.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't, you know, I think we're probably all the victims of short form content.
[SPEAKER_06]: I know my, but I last week, I believe it was Carlin, I got in the kick where we said, okay, we're going to take this screen time before bed thing seriously and we are going to do.
[SPEAKER_06]: read books again and go in there and sure enough best night sleep that she's had and a couple of great nights asleep that I have and I'm reading no offense to our friend Mr. James Patterson.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm reading a James Patterson Michael Crichton co-lab, you know, and I wish I I wish I dove back in with something meteor but it but it is what it is and I think that's a good way to turn in with you by reading.
[SPEAKER_05]: You know there's a book that Josh would recommend.
[SPEAKER_06]: Now, Reddit multiple times, Rob.
[SPEAKER_05]: Mike, it is quite by definition of very good book.
[SPEAKER_07]: It's a Reddit bunch of times.
[SPEAKER_07]: Michael Crichton is a little too soft for you.
[SPEAKER_07]: James Patterson has a new book out with Mr.
[SPEAKER_07]: Beast.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, really he collab.
[SPEAKER_06]: He is a huge genius.
[SPEAKER_06]: He is a machine.
[SPEAKER_06]: He's like, he's going to be at least late 70s now.
[SPEAKER_06]: Right.
[SPEAKER_06]: Easy, easy, easy.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: Good for him.
[SPEAKER_05]: Is it a murder mystery about bad chocolate bars?
[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, that's interesting.
[SPEAKER_06]: But now the collaboration between James Patterson and Bill Clinton was one of the best I ever read.
[SPEAKER_05]: That wasn't going to be a great time on that.
[SPEAKER_06]: But nominal when we had him on the show to talk about that.
[SPEAKER_05]: That was the one about the cheating husband, right?
[SPEAKER_06]: It was fun, it was fun, and by the way, just because we're all over the place here, Lyonus, oh my God, God, God, that show, kick in, ass, and I just hope that it's, it's real.
[SPEAKER_06]: Now, my politics probably, I'm going the opposite way when I root for the lawlessness of the secret.
[SPEAKER_06]: the secret agents, you know, where they going, you don't have any rights.
[SPEAKER_06]: I like it when you like things that are lawless.
[SPEAKER_05]: You're flourishing in Florida.
[SPEAKER_05]: And as we know, there are no laws down there.
[SPEAKER_06]: Right.
[SPEAKER_06]: So anyway, I look forward to the future, especially on the day like this, where they talk about people that retire.
[SPEAKER_06]: uh... and not having a purpose well my purpose is especially when carlers away is to be uh... do the everything with my kid and it's it's uh... she's a way right she's a way right now she is at an sd uh... conference uh... over in lauderdale and the only thing she has told me about she rooms with her friend uh... court knee over there who uh... is a wonderful guy uh... no no court and court and he is a uh... another institution a lady
[SPEAKER_06]: All I heard during every one of our conversation yesterday was whatever convention center hall wherever they're doing this thing The temperature was insanely cold and I guess the air conditioning was over.
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, it was a good problem No, they were talking about they were talking about like she said imagine the coldest you've ever been at a sporting event
[SPEAKER_06]: And I said that cult.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, it's like that they today are did anyone lose a total or anything They were very full.
[SPEAKER_06]: It's that isn't snow at a buffalo bills game.
[SPEAKER_06]: It's not snow at a buffalo But she was complaining about the cold and she's coming back tonight.
[SPEAKER_06]: So I'm Mr. and I'm not in fun with she pack a parka
[SPEAKER_06]: uh... she did not pack and it's what you need south west floor that we don't pack crap for us right now it's ninety eight degrees when i drove in the driveway here before the show started twenty five to blow at the uh... convention center i will tell you a story about the good me and then i uh... about the bad me and then i will tell you story about the good me
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_06]: And so the bad me is I wrote this down and I want to get it right.
[SPEAKER_06]: I am attached to my wife like a puppy.
[SPEAKER_06]: We do not spend an inordinate amount of time apart.
[SPEAKER_06]: We spend a lot of time together.
[SPEAKER_05]: We are together when you realize this attachment.
[SPEAKER_05]: Was it some time ago and was it because you were a part and you realized, hey, something's missing or is this more of a recent revelation?
[SPEAKER_06]: Ever since we started dating that time when I met her at Clyde's in Tyson's corner for our first day.
[SPEAKER_06]: There was some big idiot leaning over her hit-knocker when I went into the restaurant and the red socks were in the playoffs in 2003.
[SPEAKER_06]: God.
[SPEAKER_06]: And I remember that we just didn't like being a part.
[SPEAKER_06]: And even when when I go away or she goes away, it's just we don't like it.
[SPEAKER_06]: We never really do.
[SPEAKER_05]: We'll get past that.
[SPEAKER_06]: We've been together 23 years Rob.
[SPEAKER_05]: I think we've had to send a 30.
[SPEAKER_05]: All you want to do isn't be a part.
[SPEAKER_06]: Tell the truth.
[SPEAKER_06]: When was it for you?
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, what I found out is that I'm going to use that you prefer to be a part.
[SPEAKER_05]: It was on the flight home from the honeymoon.
[SPEAKER_05]: I actually requested a seat change on the plane.
[SPEAKER_06]: that you and your wife do not mind being a part, no, but you know what, we do very well together, too.
[SPEAKER_05]: But I'm a part is important.
[SPEAKER_06]: I, for certain, my sister's been married over 40 years, and they, through all of my brother-in-law's career, he was gone gone gone, begun so long, she'll be gone so long.
[SPEAKER_06]: She'll be gone so long.
[SPEAKER_06]: She'll be like, all the time, all the time, but here's the problem.
[SPEAKER_06]: When she is away in the home,
[SPEAKER_06]: I will always go astray in some way.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm not talking about having enough fair or anything.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm talking about you.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: They're equine.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: And it's ice cream.
[SPEAKER_07]: It's worth.
[SPEAKER_06]: And in the case of this particular weekend, both.
[SPEAKER_06]: Crispy cream and not very queen, but but ice cream.
[SPEAKER_06]: Let me tell you how it started.
[SPEAKER_06]: Good.
[SPEAKER_05]: Good.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_06]: I get a short on I don't know tick talk face book whatever it is.
[SPEAKER_06]: And They are Listing I'm on my algorithm now.
[SPEAKER_06]: You know how weird it is.
[SPEAKER_06]: I am getting You do they did one for butter
[SPEAKER_06]: they did one for uh... ice cream so i think it's like a short real about butter just butter they're doing the thing called the butters that have the butters that you are buying that are regular brands that are garbage you know what they should call that real is here comes butters
[SPEAKER_06]: Here comes butters, that's the inside joke.
[SPEAKER_06]: If you don't get it, I'm not explaining it here.
[SPEAKER_06]: They do one for ice cream and they do one for butter and they do one for something else.
[SPEAKER_06]: I forgot what it was, but here's the long and short of it.
[SPEAKER_06]: They give you a list of six or seven of products that we have just grown up with.
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, they did it for pasta.
[SPEAKER_05]: They did it for pasta, pasta butter and ice cream.
[SPEAKER_06]: The one they did for butter is the most recent one I've seen, and there's a little bit of hankiness because there's some of them that have contradictory information.
[SPEAKER_06]: When I see contradictory information with the same, I'm trying to think the narration voice.
[SPEAKER_06]: It's like Peter Kio.
[SPEAKER_06]: It's a Peter Kio, the AI thing that they've done.
[SPEAKER_06]: And the one butter thing talks about,
[SPEAKER_06]: The cultures that are real and whether it's really organic blah, blah, blah, goes on and they list the five ones that are not that you'd be surprised.
[SPEAKER_06]: You probably shouldn't have in your refrigerator.
[SPEAKER_06]: And then it gives you two or three of the real good ones.
[SPEAKER_05]: Kerry Gold, one of the top ones.
[SPEAKER_06]: Kerry Gold was one that was the contradictory one in what way.
[SPEAKER_06]: There are two separate things that came out about butter.
[SPEAKER_06]: The second one was carry gold, Yaira Ra.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's what you should have.
[SPEAKER_06]: And because you and I get it at our favorite box store, right?
[SPEAKER_06]: That's in my refrigerator.
[SPEAKER_06]: And I don't stop it.
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't keep it here often.
[SPEAKER_06]: The one that they really took a shot at was Landa Lakes.
[SPEAKER_06]: Sure.
[SPEAKER_06]: That the rapper that buttersticks of Landa Lakes come in has some sort of protective poison.
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, no, no, plus like the wax paper that wraps the individual.
[SPEAKER_06]: the microplastics are everywhere now and they're also saying that this might be a contributing factor to why young people are getting certain cancers that they're yet.
[SPEAKER_05]: I fed my kids so much butter going up.
[SPEAKER_06]: Just putting the depends on the kind, you know, if you're at the back turning it or something like that.
[SPEAKER_07]: We use homemade butter.
[SPEAKER_06]: because Kelly's been into things where making things herself and butters one of those things that we've replaced in the house and she makes it if you saw this thing you might say with all the preservatives and all the chemicals and hydrogenated whatever that they put in.
[SPEAKER_06]: So the a mayor.
[SPEAKER_06]: This is Sunday morning, I believe.
[SPEAKER_06]: I think it's Sunday morning.
[SPEAKER_06]: It might have been Saturday morning.
[SPEAKER_06]: Saturday afternoon.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm in the house and one comes over about ice cream and I go, yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: And I get really jacked up about it.
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, this will be interesting for you all by yourself with your phone or your laptop, maybe I'm all by myself with my laptop.
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, and I'm watching this come over and they list the crap ones and the crap ones are our big names.
[SPEAKER_06]: They took a they take put particular delight in slamming great value the Walmart brand.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah
[SPEAKER_05]: We're just, did they slam briars?
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm curious.
[SPEAKER_06]: They slam briars.
[SPEAKER_05]: I thought so too much air in it.
[SPEAKER_06]: I've all thought, but they all, but a lot of others.
[SPEAKER_06]: A lot of crap in there, too.
[SPEAKER_06]: A lot of crap for preservatives.
[SPEAKER_06]: And, you know, the bigger you, the bigger they are, the more preservatives to keep the shelf life and all that good stuff.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, they price.
[SPEAKER_06]: The one, there were two in particular.
[SPEAKER_06]: And the reason why you, I, that's a good segue because your question,
[SPEAKER_06]: will be answered this way.
[SPEAKER_06]: They sold the ones they recommended to such a degree that I felt compelled to stop by the grocery store after the following morning and pick up a some ice cream.
[SPEAKER_05]: With no spoiler alert just saying this, the ones that they praise, the ones that they
[SPEAKER_06]: One are they all big name of one that they lauded and another name that you would think that's a big name that they would have lauded that they didn't so but the ones that they praised are these all available at your local grocer or were they weird names you did not know.
[SPEAKER_06]: I had no problem acquiring the micro brand in my grocery store and I will, I will share it with you shortly here.
[SPEAKER_06]: But between, if you think of the most, the most delicious ice cream flavors that are,
[SPEAKER_06]: Big big brands, but they're also, you know, known as luxury brands.
[SPEAKER_06]: The two ice cream flavors, I think you would agree.
[SPEAKER_06]: One would be Ben and Jerry.
[SPEAKER_06]: Man, guess the other?
[SPEAKER_06]: Go right ahead.
[SPEAKER_05]: Hagen does.
[SPEAKER_06]: Hagen does.
[SPEAKER_06]: Got a 10 hog and dogs really yeah they were all over for the biggest brand that was the biggest brand that they gave the most credit to Ben and Jerry's when it was acquired yeah it was acquired by a conglomerate and when that happens they don't do all the stuff but the one that you don't ever bought it I think it was Matt they give all the sub companies that are in the
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, you know, I mean, they are.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm a comic when it comes to that.
[SPEAKER_06]: I know what the big corporate America does.
[SPEAKER_06]: They want to effute.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's what they wanted to.
[SPEAKER_06]: But the the one they there were two they recommended.
[SPEAKER_06]: I think they're in your most of your grocery stores.
[SPEAKER_06]: The one was called telemok.
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, and particularly in particular, they're cherry ice cream.
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, or cherry vanilla or whatever they're very.
[SPEAKER_05]: If I went.
[SPEAKER_06]: I went with mint chocolate chip and I'm here to tell you.
[SPEAKER_05]: Not really, how come I know you don't like when it's dyed green as a dyed green?
[SPEAKER_07]: No, no, I didn't tell him.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, go ahead.
[SPEAKER_07]: Nice creamy texture mouthful.
[SPEAKER_06]: It was well, they talked about the green ones.
[SPEAKER_06]: They don't screw around with the ingredients.
[SPEAKER_05]: Josh said mouthful instead of me, because it always kind of grows.
[SPEAKER_06]: It's like everybody's talking.
[SPEAKER_06]: Look at telemook.
[SPEAKER_06]: Look at telemook.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, you know, it's it's very, I mean, the mint chocolate chip with the factory.
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know where the fact really point out the fact we tore, tell the Tesla, tell the Tesla.
[SPEAKER_06]: So, telemook was highly rated and then the microbrand that they mentioned was a microbrand called Jennings.
[SPEAKER_05]: My journey I think I have seen I think maybe I'm wrong, but I think I've seen Jenny's inla as a low-fat offering But I thought it was like a halo top.
[SPEAKER_06]: No, it's the opposite.
[SPEAKER_06]: It's a it's not a halo.
[SPEAKER_06]: It's actually take See you bring a picture of Jenny's And I got I got Then what did I get I got something called almond brittle
[SPEAKER_06]: uh... what was it it was it was something ground butter on the ground butter on the road that sounds good it was out of this it was beyond good it was it was fantastic but if you're truly comparing ice cream to ice cream shouldn't you have like flavors like if you're a compare like not they weren't using that criteria this was not a taste overall okay this was an ingredient test this was there it is
[SPEAKER_06]: There it is.
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think they make a lot of them.
[SPEAKER_06]: And there it is.
[SPEAKER_06]: And that was Jenny with an eye.
[SPEAKER_06]: So it could be very expensive as a lot of the goons are.
[SPEAKER_06]: And then but as far as the common brands, and I think that we might agree that Hagen dos, you know, I don't think there's a better vanilla ice cream in Hagen dos.
[SPEAKER_07]: I think it's a little punk, right?
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, little pipes.
[SPEAKER_06]: That didn't last long in my house.
[SPEAKER_07]: Well, that five pack.
[SPEAKER_06]: It says is $79.
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, no, no, no, there's no way.
[SPEAKER_05]: That's if you buy it through this.
[SPEAKER_07]: It must be for shipping or something.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I think I got like, I think that mine was like $7 and change.
[SPEAKER_06]: It was this, and that was expensive.
[SPEAKER_05]: Would you pay $79 for five months if they jacked up the price?
[SPEAKER_06]: The ice cream was so good, but for the telemook, I got the, I got the mint chocolate chip, and I was disappointed because I think I'm a mint chocolate chip snob.
[SPEAKER_06]: I think that's what I am.
[SPEAKER_05]: So it's like when we have Sean Greenwood on from Ben and Jerry's I always talk to them about their their chocolate chips that they use not only are the best tasting they have the best melting point, so they don't offer too much resistance in your mouth while you're eating it.
[SPEAKER_06]: See you you because you have saw.
[SPEAKER_06]: It's a very soft teeth because you have soft teeth you know I want more resistance I'm curious.
[SPEAKER_05]: Was it the chocolate that was the problem or was it was a problem?
[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, they had the soft shape.
[SPEAKER_06]: Why it was no there were chunks, but they tasted like you were it was Frozen Fudge it was not
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I want real chocolate chips that's it and they can be like chippy chippy chocolate, you know, or they can be the broken off real chocolate.
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't like the chocolate fudge chips.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's gross.
[SPEAKER_07]: see that's a fun cool flavor.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's like fun, right?
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, let me see.
[SPEAKER_07]: But I do think how he does.
[SPEAKER_06]: Simmons, Billy, don't know.
[SPEAKER_06]: Simmons Blazer says, I'm like, working.
[SPEAKER_07]: You currently have in your freezer.
[SPEAKER_06]: The one of the greatest moments.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm the show in my opinion.
[SPEAKER_06]: Reference rate.
[SPEAKER_06]: When Rod referred to having one of the garage, and then the work can have talent.
[SPEAKER_05]: We can get at it.
[SPEAKER_05]: You're, when you, by the, of course, you don't, you're not buying half gallon.
[SPEAKER_05]: So you're safe.
[SPEAKER_06]: Right.
[SPEAKER_06]: When you were going through this list, tell him who cares a weird odd size.
[SPEAKER_06]: 1.75 quarts, not a half gallon.
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, what's that about that's about making people think you're getting a half gallon when you're not Rires did the same thing not fans.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's from Portland Portland, Oregon hippie care.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, Portland, Oregon, or Portland, Maine.
[SPEAKER_06]: They're both hippies Oregon.
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay By any chance in your your Research in this article or this piece on on on video.
[SPEAKER_05]: Did it talk about Costco brand ice cream?
[SPEAKER_05]: The Costco vanilla didn't even come up.
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, okay, I
[SPEAKER_06]: No, and I would urge you to take a look at the Costco Vanilla because we had, I think initially busted your chops about Costco Vanilla, and then when I acquired it myself, I gained like 11 pounds because I hated it.
[SPEAKER_06]: It's good.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'd be very, very curious to know.
[SPEAKER_06]: where it falls because Costco, they don't necessarily put a lot of crap in their stuff.
[SPEAKER_06]: They actually, the stuff they make is they hold it to a pretty high level.
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, they like to know what it's all about.
[SPEAKER_05]: They go through another manufacturer.
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm curious.
[SPEAKER_05]: They're made for them.
[SPEAKER_07]: Humboldt.
[SPEAKER_07]: Humboldt Dairy's or hurt of that.
[SPEAKER_07]: Bum Humboldt is who makes it.
[SPEAKER_05]: Now, I'm curious, Mike, of where you weigh in on Hagen does, because Hagen does also has some of the old man flavors that you don't see anywhere else, for example.
[SPEAKER_06]: Rum raisin.
[SPEAKER_05]: Rum raisin.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's one of my favorites.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's a classic old man flavor.
[SPEAKER_05]: That's such an old man flavor, but I love it.
[SPEAKER_05]: And it's the only place you can get it.
[SPEAKER_06]: Absolutely.
[SPEAKER_05]: They will do stashio, which is another one to me again.
[SPEAKER_06]: Now a car was not going to be home until like 7.30 this is done.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's plenty of time to run over to politics.
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh my god.
[SPEAKER_06]: All right, go ahead.
[SPEAKER_06]: So are we going to say, yeah.
[SPEAKER_05]: Call George Dash right now.
[SPEAKER_07]: I just, that's what I had it pulled up on Instacart.
[SPEAKER_07]: 885 of pint.
[SPEAKER_06]: $8.85 a pint.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's expensive.
[SPEAKER_06]: What's the other old man flavor?
[SPEAKER_06]: Give me some more.
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, there's a pistachio is one.
[SPEAKER_05]: They have.
[SPEAKER_05]: I think, you know, even though it's great, I think Cherry vanilla is an old man flavor because that's been around forever simplistic, but I think mint chocolate chip is an old man flavor.
[SPEAKER_07]: You, I don't think there's something kids there.
[SPEAKER_07]: You now that might be me that might be because you might have a hood.
[SPEAKER_07]: My childhood that was the ice cream my dad bought because none of the things liked it So it always you'd be in the freezer.
[SPEAKER_05]: I know another great old man flavor.
[SPEAKER_06]: I need to you go first butter pecan Oh, yeah, I think here's the old man.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, what me a pollita.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes Or is it we grew up in my family going in Chuck Van Strott
[SPEAKER_05]: So, I mean, did I hate me if I wanted?
[SPEAKER_05]: We used to have the worst brand of ice cream for sale at Safeway.
[SPEAKER_05]: It was called Snowstorm.
[SPEAKER_05]: And I swear it didn't have different flavors, just different colors.
[SPEAKER_05]: And about once, every six weeks is when I worked in Richmond and it wasn't the best neighborhood.
[SPEAKER_05]: About every six weeks or so, Snowstorm would go on sale.
[SPEAKER_06]: Snowstorm.
[SPEAKER_06]: That sounds like a dairy dessert not ice cream.
[SPEAKER_05]: Mike half gallon for 99 cents and that stuff would fly off the shelves And I would have people come up with this.
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah, excuse me.
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm looking for some.
[SPEAKER_05]: Do you have the Napoleon flavor of snow star?
[SPEAKER_05]: Instead of me if I was involved in it one Napoleon.
[SPEAKER_06]: The person would get snow star would probably say Napoleon.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah Yeah, that's probably when ice cream was in like the box with the flap.
[SPEAKER_05]: It was exactly like
[SPEAKER_06]: I remember back in those days.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's hard.
[SPEAKER_06]: You get sticky fingers edition very difficult to handle that, but the, you know, the long and short of it.
[SPEAKER_06]: I got the almost half gallon of the telemook and I got a pint of the jennies.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: They were both gone by Sunday night.
[SPEAKER_05]: Even though you disapproved of the telemook.
[SPEAKER_06]: How many flavors of the Tila MOOC?
[SPEAKER_06]: Is it a big enough company where they got a ton of flavors?
[SPEAKER_05]: I've seen the Josh's mentioned chocolate peanut butter.
[SPEAKER_05]: I've seen vanilla.
[SPEAKER_05]: I've seen chocolate.
[SPEAKER_05]: I have seen the cherry.
[SPEAKER_05]: I think they do like moose tracks, which is not one of my favorites.
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, I love that's peanut butter cups in.
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, hi.
[SPEAKER_06]: Everybody.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_06]: Whoo.
[SPEAKER_06]: I got a good cookies and cream.
[SPEAKER_06]: I've no I've had.
[SPEAKER_06]: I hate that flavor.
[SPEAKER_05]: Can you bring up a telemook website?
[SPEAKER_05]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_05]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_05]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_05]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_05]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_05]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_05]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_05]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_06]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_05]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_05]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_05]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_05]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_05]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_05]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_05]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_05]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_05]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_05]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_05]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_06]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_07]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_07]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_06]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_06]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_06]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I was on a coffee ice cream kick when I was a kid, but not really, I love a coffee chocolate trip is the best.
[SPEAKER_05]: And I don't think they're making it anymore is a job of chip friend.
[SPEAKER_05]: It was branded Starbucks.
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know who I made it.
[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
[SPEAKER_05]: That would even get his coffee ice cream over.
[SPEAKER_06]: You know who makes it?
[SPEAKER_06]: Our friends down at the Royal Scoop.
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, but in beautiful Bonita Springs, Florida.
[SPEAKER_06]: Of course.
[SPEAKER_06]: So anyway, that's the long and short of it.
[SPEAKER_06]: And later in this show, that's the bad me.
[SPEAKER_06]: I didn't even get on the scale this morning because I know what I did.
[SPEAKER_05]: She has this weird way where if she were to call you right now, she and without listening, she'd know that you had done that.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, she'll know something was up.
[SPEAKER_06]: She'll find it.
[SPEAKER_06]: She leaves you.
[SPEAKER_06]: She knows you're up to trouble.
[SPEAKER_06]: I just, I mean, I'm bored.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm bored, and I'm not going gambling.
[SPEAKER_06]: So I'm sitting there watching the Red Sox lose fucking 16 to one.
[SPEAKER_06]: I got to do something to take the pain away for the lover.
[SPEAKER_06]: 16 to one, great call.
[SPEAKER_06]: First base, asshole, I'm pire.
[SPEAKER_06]: You need a Red Sox.
[SPEAKER_06]: It doesn't matter, one call.
[SPEAKER_07]: You need a Red Sox themed ice cream.
[SPEAKER_05]: I think they got a house by the way like choke chocolate chip or something.
[SPEAKER_06]: They were there's a line they use in sports Rob called exposed Yes, the red socks were exposed.
[SPEAKER_05]: Is that when their weaknesses really come through?
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that's when they play a game like their dixer hanging out.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, now that I'd watch.
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_06]: We have to take them over.
[SPEAKER_06]: Later in the program, I will tell you the story of the Good Samaritan and a win-win win-win.
[SPEAKER_06]: If it moves people to do the same thing I did, I hope it works.
[SPEAKER_06]: We will take a short break and come back with some tidbits because that's what we do.

[SPEAKER_06]: Hey, guess what, guys?
[SPEAKER_05]: I couldn't possibly, can we have a hint?
[SPEAKER_05]: Things are escalating in the middle east.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, this is great news.
[SPEAKER_06]: military strikes.
[SPEAKER_06]: The U.S. military is confirmed direct air strikes targeting two Iranian rocket launchers on a beautiful island.
[SPEAKER_06]: I've been there on vacation, Lorac Island.
[SPEAKER_05]: That is great.
[SPEAKER_05]: You know, if we didn't make it to Cosimel, that was going to be our second shot.
[SPEAKER_07]: But this means we get to win again.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, winning winning a big win.
[SPEAKER_06]: Tehran has already vowed to respond reporting casualties among the revolutionary guard fighters and civilians.
[SPEAKER_06]: This comes amid a war of words on social media doesn't he get tired?
[SPEAKER_06]: Does he ever get tired?
[SPEAKER_05]: I tried that new Iranian ice cream though, camel tracks.
[SPEAKER_06]: Tiffel tracks, you're a little sandy.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's so stereotypical right now.
[SPEAKER_05]: But you know what it's a time of war and I'm just trying to keep morale.
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, the war of words continues President Trump warns Iran that the US will hit them hard.
[SPEAKER_06]: following retaliatory strikes against American-based targets in Jordan, death tolls, that's the one piece of bad news.
[SPEAKER_06]: I want to get it all out of the way right now because there's more of a bad situation that has nothing to do with the war in the Middle East but it does have the weather involved and that's in Nepal.
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know if you saw a video from Nepal or the headline was something like
[SPEAKER_06]: three minutes before the water swallowed the town and you see these buses and motorbikes and people running and then just kaboom just tons of people displaced and killed it's a kind of a it's a kind of disaster that if you saw it in a movie you would say well that can't be real
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it's that scary.
[SPEAKER_06]: The death toll has searched past 900 in Nepal flash floods, rescue crews are working against the clock after catastrophic flooding on the border of Nepal and Tibet.
[SPEAKER_06]: The flooding wiped out entire multi-story buildings and schools.
[SPEAKER_06]: The confirmed death toll has dramatically climbed past 900 people.
[SPEAKER_06]: Probably, you know, I got this midday, so this is probably even worse.
[SPEAKER_06]: Now, workers are desperately digging through a collapsed tunnel, where at least 100 citizens are currently believed to be trapped alive.
[SPEAKER_06]: So, of course, we'll see what happens.
[SPEAKER_06]: Now, this next story involves technology being used by our friends at Immigration Custom.
[SPEAKER_06]: ice has been very active down here.
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know what it's been like in your neck of the woods, but they've been all over the place.
[SPEAKER_06]: They wait at where did Carlos see them?
[SPEAKER_06]: They're waiting at the race track, gas station, where the workers early in the morning are coming to get their coffee before it's.
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know, man.
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know what you feel, but it's so to do that to you.
[SPEAKER_06]: Amazing.
[SPEAKER_05]: Is your race track where sometimes day laborers will gather?
[SPEAKER_05]: Could be picked up?
[SPEAKER_05]: Not anymore.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_05]: But I mean for a long time.
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_05]: I know that.
[SPEAKER_06]: That was a Virginia thing.
[SPEAKER_06]: I remember that happening in Virginia, Lop, and now they're just sitting out there and they're waiting.
[SPEAKER_06]: They've gone into different places like they've gone into home improvement stores.
[SPEAKER_06]: Here's what they're doing now.
[SPEAKER_06]: robot enforcement dogs.
[SPEAKER_06]: The Trump administration is escalating the immigration enforcement with these tech heavy reforms, US immigration and customs enforcement officially set to spend $2 million to purchase these robotic dogs to aid officers in on-site operations.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, they're those dogs you see demo at all the time where it's like, you know, it's just a robot for legs and no head or anything.
[SPEAKER_07]: I don't understand.
[SPEAKER_07]: We've seen them used for like border patrol and stuff.
[SPEAKER_07]: I don't understand the point of them.
[SPEAKER_07]: out in the field with ice.
[SPEAKER_06]: The controversial contract follows a recent acquisition of those electric shock gloves that we all love so much.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_06]: There's a dog for field officers.
[SPEAKER_06]: There we go.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_05]: That.
[SPEAKER_06]: You know what?
[SPEAKER_06]: Terrified enough.
[SPEAKER_05]: The mind reels at the notion of a robot dog for doing all that.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_06]: And sorry for the depression, but there's a lot of depressing stuff going on.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: Let's pick up the P.O.N.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm sorry.
[SPEAKER_05]: One more.
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, this is not a news story.
[SPEAKER_06]: It's a sports story.
[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, messy messy.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_06]: Lionel messy or Leonardo Messi announced international retirement after the world of sports.
[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, you know, let me, let me, let me rephrase that.
[SPEAKER_06]: I was reading your headline.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm sorry.
[SPEAKER_06]: I read that incorrectly.
[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, yeah, Messi's retiring.
[SPEAKER_06]: uh... he officially announces retirement from international football via an emotional instagram post uh... no one saw this coming i wonder last year they were making a big deal about the fact that he was coming to my amy to play soccer and all the kids had a messy jersey and then he scored a goal in his first time there uh... let's see yeah he's out of there messy sort of entering this is an obscure request but
[SPEAKER_05]: If he was the favorite player of the magician from Frosty the Snowman, how would he refer it to him?
[SPEAKER_06]: But Messi Messi Messi, that's not fair.
[SPEAKER_06]: He just went to Miami.
[SPEAKER_06]: I wish I knew the name of the team.
[SPEAKER_07]: This is a Michael Mara retirement.
[SPEAKER_07]: Because he announced that he is retired from the Argentina national team.
[SPEAKER_07]: He will continue to play for Miami.
[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, he is, okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: There you go.
[SPEAKER_05]: That's how you see him.
[SPEAKER_05]: Then it's not really a retirement.
[SPEAKER_05]: But if he's leaving Argentina, now I'm less inclined to think he's a Nazi.
[SPEAKER_06]: I guess.
[SPEAKER_06]: Which is good.
[SPEAKER_06]: And I heard a rumor he's going to do short form interviews.
[SPEAKER_05]: hasn't revealed the name of his show yet though.
[SPEAKER_06]: Why don't want until I know.
[SPEAKER_06]: I know.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's mine.
[SPEAKER_05]: Mine.
[SPEAKER_05]: Mine.
[SPEAKER_06]: Let's see.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's okay.
[SPEAKER_06]: College football starting football starting.
[SPEAKER_06]: The Diamondbacks, Josh, Do you care that they're preparing for a massive home series with the Philadelphia Philly?
[SPEAKER_06]: Do you care about national league at all?
[SPEAKER_06]: No.
[SPEAKER_07]: No, I don't care.
[SPEAKER_07]: That the Orioles are playing the Rockies tonight.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's what I care about.
[SPEAKER_07]: There you go.
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I know the Philly's are a good team.
[SPEAKER_05]: Are the Diamondbacks in it?
[SPEAKER_06]: I think they would be.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's why it would be a big series, but I don't pay attention to either the Philly's or the Diamondbacks.
[SPEAKER_06]: You know what I pay attention to?
[SPEAKER_05]: What's that?
[SPEAKER_06]: Celebrity, jeopardy!
[SPEAKER_06]: Hi, Logan!
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, actress Lisa Ann Walter.
[SPEAKER_06]: Do you know her?
[SPEAKER_06]: Does she really qualify for celebrity jeopardy?
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, you know, that's the world we live in.
[SPEAKER_06]: She totally shattered pre-taped game show decorum on the jeopardy tournament of champion stage.
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't take that show.
[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, Facebook.
[SPEAKER_05]: I'll take an abit all the way.
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, take it.
[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, she faced off against six foot seven tech manager, Mike Dawson, another celebrity.
[SPEAKER_06]: Is he a celebrity or is it, what is this celebrity jeopardy tournament of champions or fans like him?
[SPEAKER_06]: He just smart.
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, well, she tripped up.
[SPEAKER_06]: She tripped up hard on questions about Philadelphia, and that's bad because it's the very city her sitcom is based in.
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh dear, you know Alan Wenzel is going to hate that after blowing a critical clue and sinking her score into that brutal negative revenue hole of minus $2,600.
[SPEAKER_06]: She blurted out what the hell live on Mike, oh my god, why are you doing celebrity jeopardy?
[SPEAKER_05]: You wanted to be different than the regular game and you don't see people saying what the hell on the regular.
[SPEAKER_06]: This left the studio audience absolutely stunned before she was completely locked out of final jeopardy But I can't wait to watch that.
[SPEAKER_06]: No, I won't.
[SPEAKER_05]: And Ken Jennings stabbed her Ken Jennings.
[SPEAKER_06]: There you go.
[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, so watch a phone jeopardy Finally a Brazilian man is suing his former romantic partners
[SPEAKER_06]: for an utterly bizarre breakup fee after his rare three person polyamorous relationship hit a rocky road.
[SPEAKER_06]: Rocky road?
[SPEAKER_06]: Does Jenny's make Rocky road?
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, Jenny.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, there's a three.
[SPEAKER_06]: Some of the man's sought legal damages against his recently departed girlfriends claiming a breach of triad contract.
[SPEAKER_06]: This is real.
[SPEAKER_06]: Wow.
[SPEAKER_06]: He demanded cash compensation for emotional distress and several severe incidences of blue balls that he encountered during the unraveling of their bedroom dynamic.
[SPEAKER_06]: The regional court threw the adult drama out of the halls of justice, re-ruled that unless a trouble registers a formal three-way domestic partnership,
[SPEAKER_06]: under the sheets do not qualify as a legal breach of promise, so that's that.
[SPEAKER_06]: Wow.
[SPEAKER_06]: Wow.
[SPEAKER_06]: They threw it out.
[SPEAKER_06]: No, that's gross.
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_05]: You almost have to.
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, it did.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: They all had soft teeth.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's what it was.
[SPEAKER_05]: You know, why you do that to me?
[SPEAKER_05]: My teeth are better now.
[SPEAKER_06]: Hey, let me ask you this question, ladies and gentlemen, have you been battling fatigue, wake game, brain fog, low energy, poor sleep or just not feeling like yourself?

[SPEAKER_06]: Welcome back to the show.
[SPEAKER_06]: Whoa, whoa, ladies and gentlemen.
[SPEAKER_06]: I know I want to get to my good Samaritan story.
[SPEAKER_05]: You're amazing.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: All right.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'll do it right now because I'm not that long.
[SPEAKER_06]: neighbor across the street, Carla would know their names.
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't, uh, but they're having some work done in their driveway.
[SPEAKER_06]: Not sure if it's power washed in ceiling or ceiling or power washed or they're getting the roof power washed, but they got, they got stuff over there and they got water and, uh, I know this one.
[SPEAKER_05]: They tie a do not cross ribbon across there.
[SPEAKER_06]: They did, they most definitely did.
[SPEAKER_06]: Then it sounds to me like a ceiling job.
[SPEAKER_06]: And then, uh, the homeowner came out on his front line.
[SPEAKER_06]: I said, tie a yellow ribbon.
[SPEAKER_05]: People don't know Josh than Mike is across the street neighbors from Tony Orlando Tony Orlando and Don my favorite iteration Do you remember Tony Orlando Josh remember that?
[SPEAKER_07]: I know the name.
[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know why oh They bid knock three times on the ceiling if you want me
[SPEAKER_06]: twice on the pipe, clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk
[SPEAKER_06]: Later than night, I'm taking them because Mrs. O'Mar is out of town.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm doing so doggy duty.
[SPEAKER_06]: My son is at an overnight, so it's me me me me when you see a neighbor when you're walking the dog.
[SPEAKER_05]: Do you ask if they have ice cream?
[SPEAKER_06]: Go, I'm actually just making sure that Winslow and study both get a move on because I got to get back into the freezer.
[SPEAKER_05]: I understand the freezer.
[SPEAKER_06]: So I, I'm taking them for the little walkie walkie and I get about three driveways down, which in my neighborhood is four feet.
[SPEAKER_06]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_06]: And so I look over and I see
[SPEAKER_06]: There appears to be some sort of credit card.
[SPEAKER_06]: That is right on top of the storm drain.
[SPEAKER_06]: And it's half exposed, and it's got some like grass and flipping, and debris covering it.
[SPEAKER_06]: And I freeze, and I stare, and I look and it says, well, it's far.
[SPEAKER_06]: Go on, it looks like a debit card.
[SPEAKER_06]: yeah and i'd like uh well what to do what to do and uh i said i don't want to leave it here what how much ice cream could you buy with that debit card i didn't have any thoughts like that i didn't i'm perhaps fleeting but we don't have the same number you don't need the pin number
[SPEAKER_06]: It's a credit card.
[SPEAKER_06]: Are you aware that you can go into like a Mart of Wall and put your card in and then hit the green button and you do not need to put a pin in?
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but it's a debit card and I think they do ask for the pin.
[SPEAKER_06]: No, no, it's your credit card.
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean where you can get code.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I've seen where you can skip it, but I didn't know that I was so I see this thing and I'm like, well, I'll pick it up and it's kind of gnarly in there, so I'm like picking up, I pick it up like this, I'm like, you and I see on the name is a like hector Hernandez or something, it's a Hispanic name.
[SPEAKER_06]: And I'm like, well, I noticed that crew, you know, was Hispanic, and like so many of the hardworking people are that get fucked with, with ice down here.
[SPEAKER_06]: Of course they're doing the work that, you know, that keeps this entire area going.
[SPEAKER_06]: But I see this thing.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm like, hmm.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, they were running that water storm drain down here.
[SPEAKER_06]: I could see that thing falling out if they're like, you know, flushing a driveway and they're like, and I said, hmm, and I see my neighbor George talking on my neighbor Chris and I'm like, I got a debit card here, and I think it's probably with that crew, and I'm like, you know what I do, you know what I'll do?
[SPEAKER_06]: I'll George, I think I'll just put it in the mailbox.
[SPEAKER_06]: And he said yeah, that's a good idea.
[SPEAKER_06]: You might want to text them too.
[SPEAKER_06]: I might.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, and at that point, I want to go, hey, you might want to text.
[SPEAKER_05]: How are you supposed to have contact information for his crew?
[SPEAKER_06]: No, talk about the neighbors that are having the work done.
[SPEAKER_05]: I say, okay, for you.
[SPEAKER_06]: And I don't want to text, I just put the, I do my bit and I put the, I put the card in there and they, they have fresh mail number, I could, I could get in touch with them.
[SPEAKER_06]: They're literally across the street, but I decide to just put it in the mailbox and they'll get it.
[SPEAKER_06]: They're smart people.
[SPEAKER_06]: And if it's, if they're able to make a contact, then the next morning,
[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, I see one of their kids coming back early in the morning, not true.
[SPEAKER_06]: Why that was, but well, they were out drinking in horror.
[SPEAKER_06]: She gets out of the car.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: And, uh, I say, uh, listen, I, I put a debit card in your mailbox because I thought that crew that's working on your driveway, uh, might, uh, it might, uh, might have fallen out one of the guy's pockets.
[SPEAKER_06]: And so
[SPEAKER_06]: my responsibilities over.
[SPEAKER_06]: Then, another dog, by the way, I walked my dog's fucking 30 times a day.
[SPEAKER_06]: And when so still manages to piss on the empty Chobani box in our house.
[SPEAKER_05]: And maybe you should try 31 times.
[SPEAKER_06]: So, I go, I see the crew.
[SPEAKER_06]: And I'm like, hey, and I walk across the street.
[SPEAKER_06]: And I said to the guy, did you get that debit card?
[SPEAKER_06]: I didn't know it was for anybody on your crew or not, but he doesn't speak a word of English.
[SPEAKER_06]: are so much so that he has to grab the other guy the other guy comes over and he's going to the google trans okay for me and he hands me the phone to talk into.
[SPEAKER_06]: I said did anybody on your crew get the debit card that I left in the mailbox because I thought one of your guys might have dropped it and I show it to the guy and his face lights up.
[SPEAKER_06]: It goes.
[SPEAKER_06]: me all the way to the best and i'm like i mean i heard the angel saying i'm uh oh yes when something like that yeah we all know the feeling when you lose keys a wallet a debit card and i think like that and it was the right hunch that they actually one of their guys actually love i was so psyched for you so happy it was great effort that's great the bottom line is at least i did nothing it was no effort but the
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, or you're kicking, that's right.
[SPEAKER_06]: We're cutting it.
[SPEAKER_06]: That would, well, I thought about taking it home and destroying it.
[SPEAKER_05]: That's, that would have been a good move.
[SPEAKER_05]: But what happened, you were proactive and you made some guy's day.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you were absolutely dead.
[SPEAKER_06]: I got that and then I'm outside, not with the dogs this time.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm doing some work in the garage.
[SPEAKER_06]: You know, I was saying, but I took him out over the weekend.
[SPEAKER_05]: Good.
[SPEAKER_06]: I told you I was bored.
[SPEAKER_06]: I was dealing with all the pets this weekend.
[SPEAKER_06]: And I get ee ee and big grin as he's driving out of the neighborhood.
[SPEAKER_06]: It was really, it was, it was, it's so, that's right.
[SPEAKER_06]: It's so, it's so, so happy ending this day.
[SPEAKER_05]: I was, I was remembering, you know, when we were on our last cruise that I left my phone in my Uber that brought me to the dock.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's what I saw you at the terminal.
[SPEAKER_05]: I was distraught and when that guy went out of his way to come back and bring him my phone, it is like angels.
[SPEAKER_05]: It is so good to have good people out there.
[SPEAKER_05]: You should be very pleased with yourself.
[SPEAKER_06]: I am very happy and I was just so cool to see his grinning face when he left.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, so that's cool.
[SPEAKER_06]: So the moral of the story is if you think you're going to do somebody else out of it and it might be the right thing to do, do the right thing.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's one of the things.
[SPEAKER_05]: We will take a break and come back.
[SPEAKER_05]: Do you want to talk about the weirdest
[SPEAKER_05]: I want to talk about the app.
[SPEAKER_06]: The app, all right.
[SPEAKER_06]: I've got app news coming up on the Michael marriage show.
[SPEAKER_06]: But first, we have done a lot of crazy things over the years.
[SPEAKER_06]: So do you really think we just say goodbye and go home?
[SPEAKER_06]: Hell no, we're going to paradise.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's right, from January 21st through the 25th, Josh had you checked recently while you've been posting all the numbers for your new show.
[SPEAKER_06]: Have you posted?
[SPEAKER_06]: Have you figured out how many cabins we've sold?
[SPEAKER_06]: Are we doing well?
[SPEAKER_06]: We're, we're...
[SPEAKER_06]: just above last year.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's the comment.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
[SPEAKER_06]: So that's better.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's better.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's good.
[SPEAKER_06]: So we've sold more cabins than last year.
[SPEAKER_06]: And we still want to, you know, select, uh, come on.
[SPEAKER_05]: So that's regular podcasts.
[SPEAKER_06]: Michael Mary show podcasts that I'm going to do.
[SPEAKER_06]: And we're going to be doing it on the Margaritaville at sea.
[SPEAKER_06]: Join all of us, the TMO-esque.
[SPEAKER_06]: This is not selling cabins when you play sad Christopher Cross music like this is beautiful Christopher Cross music.
[SPEAKER_06]: We're gonna set sail from Tampa to Cosimel for four days of sun see swag meet and greet
[SPEAKER_06]: tears, laughs, and one very big piece of podcast history, because somewhere out there on the high seas, we're doing something we've never done before, the final episode of the Michael Mary Show podcast, a live with you and the audience.
[SPEAKER_06]: No rerun, no doover.
[SPEAKER_06]: This is the one.
[SPEAKER_06]: So if T.L.
[SPEAKER_06]: Molyce has been a part of your life, please try to get to this cruise ship and come with us.
[SPEAKER_05]: We're part of our grand finale.
[SPEAKER_06]: Give the details at tmospodcast.com or call 800-814-7100.
[SPEAKER_06]: Use the group code 4435.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's group code 4435 at 800-814-7100.
[SPEAKER_06]: Or you can get all the information by going to tmospodcast.com and tell them you're with T.M.O.S.
[SPEAKER_06]: Book today, lock in your price.
[SPEAKER_06]: We spent years making the show.
[SPEAKER_06]: Now let's make one last memory.
[SPEAKER_06]: We want you to be part of it.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's nice Rob.
[SPEAKER_06]: That was very nicely written.
[SPEAKER_06]: I appreciate that.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's very cool.
[SPEAKER_05]: You mentioned earlier that when I said ice cream as camel tracks, that would be a stereotypical.
[SPEAKER_05]: But what you got to know, Mike, is camels are very important to the culture.
[SPEAKER_05]: in the middle east.
[SPEAKER_06]: They really are.
[SPEAKER_06]: You know, when you're like, when you cranial cramp on that, I don't know where you're going with it.
[SPEAKER_06]: And obviously, you stop.
[SPEAKER_06]: And I'm like, what's he talking about?
[SPEAKER_05]: The, uh, for centuries, camels have been an important life.
[SPEAKER_05]: Porting in the life across the Gulf providing.
[SPEAKER_05]: You want to start?
[SPEAKER_06]: Do you want to start from the very, I want to start the show from the very beginning.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's okay.
[SPEAKER_05]: For centuries, camels have been an important part of life across the Gulf providing transportation, meat, milk, leather, wool, and they are still revered today.
[SPEAKER_05]: But the question is, how do you get a camel if you need one?
[SPEAKER_05]: How do you acquire one?
[SPEAKER_05]: You go to the new app that is called Heinel College, which is a camel selling app.
[SPEAKER_06]: I have a thousand questions and I'm pleased to get into the story.
[SPEAKER_06]: Is this
[SPEAKER_06]: International trade is one able to acquire a camel from far away to review your home.
[SPEAKER_05]: If you are ranged for the transport and the shots, yes.
[SPEAKER_05]: But these are mostly camels that are going to stay in the UAE, United Arab Emirates.
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, so it's a one country deal.
[SPEAKER_05]: Hine out collegiate Mike, it actually means golf camels.
[SPEAKER_06]: And you can go on and it'll give you the high golf camels or golf camels.
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I mean, forever, whatever you want to use them for is great, but this you imagine that go every the top boy Would I be popular with my friends.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_05]: Do you think they could carry carry two bags?
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I do what on each home?
[SPEAKER_06]: Absolutely.
[SPEAKER_07]: I think it'd be fantastic There's very exciting.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, it looks like you can pick out like your style or cam on that you want
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, yeah, it gives you, you know, their age and their their trades and everything I'm like.
[SPEAKER_06]: Now, if I lived there a temperamental, that they spit, they do spit.
[SPEAKER_06]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_05]: But did you know how valuable a camel is?
[SPEAKER_05]: I had no idea that last month in Abu Dhabi, 15 Campbell sold for $5,000 a dollar.
[SPEAKER_06]: I got a stop here.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: Terry Parker says pretty sure there are instructions on the back of debit cards if you find one that don't include notifying a group of non-English-speaking workers who are at a gas station filling rigs on that card.
[SPEAKER_06]: Fuck you.
[SPEAKER_06]: You know what?
[SPEAKER_05]: I guess so.
[SPEAKER_06]: They were not a gas station.
[SPEAKER_06]: They were my neighborhood asshole.
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, thank you.
[SPEAKER_06]: Go ahead, Rob.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm sorry.
[SPEAKER_06]: I had to deal with it.
[SPEAKER_05]: A recent camel mic was the subject of a bidding war and brought in 136,000 dollars American to buy a single camel.
[SPEAKER_05]: A camel.
[SPEAKER_05]: A camel.
[SPEAKER_05]: Now, I wouldn't think that he'd be great.
[SPEAKER_05]: 100.
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I thought we were the cost of a horse.
[SPEAKER_05]: or a car are they racing camels um they're all variants here they do race camels and that perhaps might make them more valuable but they have all of them on this website i would probably buy one for milk and for leather i would only buy them if they had a group discount where you could get a few of them because i've asked uh many people in my lifetime
[SPEAKER_06]: You know, I tell a nice story, I tell a nice story.
[SPEAKER_06]: Don't let him get to a nice fucking story about getting a debit card back to its rightful owner and and now everybody's like saying, I did something wrong.
[SPEAKER_06]: Right, don't you know, what a camel first, a camel.
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, you know what, people are assholes.
[SPEAKER_05]: That's the problem and Terry, you are captain asshole.
[SPEAKER_05]: that's not fun.
[SPEAKER_05]: Please enjoy your reign as Captain Ashol.
[SPEAKER_06]: Not fun.
[SPEAKER_06]: I am shocked at the price of a camel.
[SPEAKER_05]: And I don't even know if they specify if a one hump or two is more expensive.
[SPEAKER_05]: I would give it a choice.
[SPEAKER_06]: It was over here yesterday.
[SPEAKER_05]: When you go for a two-hump camel, if you had the two-hump camel, there you are, because you can sit between the humps.
[SPEAKER_05]: It's almost like an easy chair.
[SPEAKER_05]: But for a seller, you see this guy that invented this app has actually retired from his government job and is now a full-time internet camel merchant.
[SPEAKER_06]: So his government job in the UAE?
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, he quit.
[SPEAKER_05]: Now he is just...
[SPEAKER_06]: When you say retire from my government job, I think somebody inside the beltway or Washington DC that's doing that.
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, have you tried to buy a camel in Washington DC?
[SPEAKER_05]: I have.
[SPEAKER_05]: Almost impossible.
[SPEAKER_06]: You know, down here, in Naples, Florida.
[SPEAKER_06]: You can, when Michael was a baby, a little bitty, he went with his mommy on a camel ride.
[SPEAKER_05]: Really?
[SPEAKER_06]: they had camels that you could ride in the zoo.
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, did you know the value of that camel at the time?
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I can't remember.
[SPEAKER_07]: It wasn't a very pretty camel.
[SPEAKER_07]: It says that elite beauty and racing camels regularly clear a million dollars.
[SPEAKER_07]: So it is kind of like a race horse.
[SPEAKER_06]: It's like a race horse.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'd be more inclined to I'd go see the racing camels, but I'd really be more interested.
[SPEAKER_06]: Have you seen the drifting they do in the UAE or maybe it's Saudi Arabia I'm not sure have you seen the drifting where the the cars are going like 110 miles I thought you were gonna say the camels were drifting.
[SPEAKER_07]: I wanted to see camels drift.
[SPEAKER_07]: I thought it was something in the sand.
[SPEAKER_06]: Can you bring up Josh?
[SPEAKER_06]: just for me, uh, dangerous drifting in the Middle East.
[SPEAKER_06]: That might get us a drifting car.
[SPEAKER_06]: Have you ever seen this?
[SPEAKER_06]: I have another one of my algorithms.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I'm not watching very cool beat each other.
[SPEAKER_06]: It's pretty amazing.
[SPEAKER_05]: So for a seller, let's say Mike, you hop on this this app and you want to sell your camel because you're just tired of it.
[SPEAKER_05]: You can stand this side of it.
[SPEAKER_05]: You want a new camel.
[SPEAKER_05]: It involves offloading a Campbell so Campbell rather forgive me that involves transporting the animal in a pickup truck over long distances to meet potential buyers without the guarantee of a sale Now with the app you can do all of this digitally and you don't have to transport the camel to the seller think of that that just passes profit and
[SPEAKER_06]: all along to you and all the information on the camel you need by going online.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's a little thank you, though, isn't that like, you know, a Facebook marketplace or something like that?
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I truck, I trust Facebook marketplace and besides Mike, this isn't just the catch all anyone can do it.
[SPEAKER_05]: This is for true camel merchants.
[SPEAKER_06]: Have you ever been touched, seen, been up close to a camera?
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, they're hard.
[SPEAKER_05]: Where?
[SPEAKER_05]: I think at the Petapet Zoo when I was little and more recently was a really called Petapet?
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_05]: And then there was a Petapet Zoo.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's the one like in Vienna.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I think so.
[SPEAKER_06]: The one, the one that's out in like sterling or something like that.
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, there's one in Leesburg that is a petting zoo that I took my kids to.
[SPEAKER_05]: But this was another one.
[SPEAKER_05]: Legendarily at the Petapet Zoo when I was little, I pulled the curly tail of a pig because it looked like a spring and I was attacked by the pig.
[SPEAKER_05]: That's what happened when I was little.
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, you know, in a lot of popular culture films, you get fed to the pigs, because they'll need anything.
[SPEAKER_06]: And I don't know whether it's true or not, whether it's just fiction, but they seem to use these pigs to dispose of bodies.
[SPEAKER_05]: This is why I eat the pig first.
[SPEAKER_05]: whether it be ham, or bacon, or anything.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, delicious.
[SPEAKER_06]: But the pig would eat you.
[SPEAKER_06]: I think if you were like murdered and thrown into the pig, pig's eye, I couldn't get out.
[SPEAKER_05]: I was also a little intender at that point.
[SPEAKER_05]: Now we find the drifting, the Saudi or something.
[SPEAKER_05]: OK, let's take a look at some more.
[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'd like to enjoy this.
[SPEAKER_06]: And after this time, I guess we'll be able to do that.
[SPEAKER_06]: We'll be there.
[SPEAKER_06]: We'll be there.
[SPEAKER_06]: Now you all will be listening.
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, there are phones out there.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_05]: That poor, it is both fast and furious.
[SPEAKER_05]: You got another one?
[SPEAKER_07]: You got another one.
[SPEAKER_03]: You got another one.
[SPEAKER_03]: You got another one.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, it was a high energy street driving style that began in Saudi Arabia.
[SPEAKER_03]: And spread across the Middle East.
[SPEAKER_03]: We're drivers guide ordinary cars.
[SPEAKER_03]: Look at that.
[SPEAKER_03]: Slighting drifts across wide desert.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's not a direct one.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's not a direct one.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's not a direct one.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's not a direct one.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's not a direct one.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's not a direct one.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's not a direct one.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's not a direct one.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's not a direct one.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's not a direct one.
[SPEAKER_06]: I've seen the ones where they get killed too, which is not cool.
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, they get thrown out of the vehicle because they, you know, they lose control.
[SPEAKER_06]: Easy to lose control.
[SPEAKER_06]: The vehicle.
[SPEAKER_05]: This doesn't happen with a camel.
[SPEAKER_06]: A camel is always in control.
[SPEAKER_06]: Jim pieces of crashes are all there it is.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm sorry, I can't be politically correct.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'd love to disagree, but I have to agree with old Jimmy there.
[SPEAKER_05]: Mike, yeah.
[SPEAKER_05]: Let's say you go to the digital marketplace right now.
[SPEAKER_05]: How many camels do you think are for sale just on this digital marketplace?
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I would say they're here at the facts, Rob.
[SPEAKER_06]: All right, there are probably are a lot of camels in the UAE, right?
[SPEAKER_06]: This guy probably is pretty exclusive as far as digital sale of camels.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'd say there are 50 camels for sale right now.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'd say hundreds.
[SPEAKER_05]: 3,300 camels are on sale online.
[SPEAKER_05]: He's already sold 3,000 camels.
[SPEAKER_05]: And just think, maybe you already have your camel, but you still want to explore the app.
[SPEAKER_05]: You can use the app to buy camel food, camel medicine, and camel-related jobs.
[SPEAKER_06]: What is the sales commission on a camel sale?
[SPEAKER_06]: How much do you know what?
[SPEAKER_05]: They don't say it here, but I'm guessing, I'll say 10%.
[SPEAKER_05]: What?
[SPEAKER_07]: What is a camel-related job?
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I'm glad you asked.
[SPEAKER_05]: Camel trainers?
[SPEAKER_07]: Camel trainers?
[SPEAKER_07]: The keeper.
[SPEAKER_05]: And also, my camel shepherds.
[SPEAKER_05]: very big and the way can't they go for miles miles miles without drinking yeah exactly store the water in their homes well yeah they do I don't know if it's actually that a myth or is that I know they can they can go days and days without water I don't think they stored in the hump right I don't know I would have to check but you know who would know is everyone at high-end-out college website uh-huh we've got you know there's no reason why we can't uh-
[SPEAKER_07]: He's so big and hold up to 80 pounds of fat in each pump.
[SPEAKER_07]: So get on faster.
[SPEAKER_07]: You are so much faster than I am.
[SPEAKER_05]: He's wicked fast as well.
[SPEAKER_07]: He's wicked fast with it, you know?
[SPEAKER_07]: But they will drink 40 gallons of water in a single sitting and then just go and go and go, right?
[SPEAKER_06]: And I was going to go a long time without having to drink water again.
[SPEAKER_05]: I was shocked to find out that one of their primary uses in the UAE is milk production.
[SPEAKER_05]: Camel milk.
[SPEAKER_05]: Camel milk.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it's the main ingredient in the telemook ice cream.
[SPEAKER_06]: It's really, and Jenny's.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, of course, and Jenny's burnt butter.
[SPEAKER_06]: What is it?
[SPEAKER_06]: Brown butter.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm in brittle.
[SPEAKER_05]: Mike, I tell you what, when you have milk from a camel, that's the brownest brown butter you'll ever find.
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, it's fantastic.
[SPEAKER_06]: I drink, I would drink camel milk in a, in a heartbeat.
[SPEAKER_07]: There's a lot more vitamin C in camel milk.
[SPEAKER_07]: Really?
[SPEAKER_07]: Why?
[SPEAKER_06]: They're diet camels.
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_06]: Probably they're diet.
[SPEAKER_06]: They eat a lot of vegetation with vitamin C in it.
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I mean, all I think that would you'd want a Florida camel that leaves a lot of grapefruit.
[SPEAKER_06]: No, no Steve Hernandez.
[SPEAKER_06]: Fatty hump was actually the I was
[SPEAKER_06]: All right, I've never told this story, but I dabbled at being an insult comment comment for a while.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, well, you see how he stammered over that.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I wasn't a rickles, but I tried to be and yeah, you know, and here he is, ladies, gentlemen, everybody's buddy.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's what that was the introduction.
[SPEAKER_06]: And please welcome everybody, everybody's buddy, fatty, home.
[SPEAKER_05]: Now, you're mostly middle, right?
[SPEAKER_06]: You didn't host a material from Rickles.
[SPEAKER_06]: I thought that I did a better job when I stole his signature bit about a married couple.
[SPEAKER_06]: You know, we're, let's just imagine if you will, if you're looking to me on the video right now.
[SPEAKER_06]: The front row is down here, right?
[SPEAKER_06]: And I'm looking down to the front row.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going, hey, how you all doing?
[SPEAKER_06]: Hey, sir, is that your wife or with?
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, no.
[SPEAKER_06]: It didn't really work that well.
[SPEAKER_05]: Sorry.
[SPEAKER_05]: But the act did it play in the UAE.
[SPEAKER_05]: Did you do clubs over there?
[SPEAKER_05]: Never did the Middle East.
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, because there's a great club there in Abu Dhabi has chuckles.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I got as far as Greece.
[SPEAKER_05]: Great.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but yeah, yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: I was called laughing ackeys.
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, I've heard of that club.
[SPEAKER_05]: Good wings.
[SPEAKER_06]: Less continos.
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know what I'm doing.
[SPEAKER_06]: This is going on far too long anyway.
[SPEAKER_05]: So if you want to buy a camel by a camel, if you don't want to buy a camel, don't do it.
[SPEAKER_05]: But if you do it, do it online.
[SPEAKER_06]: We have just enough time to deal with Mr. Saroka, who has a new term for all you youngsters out there.
[SPEAKER_06]: I want to get through this show without doing this before I learn today.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_06]: This is a term that's used for is this because you're a step
[SPEAKER_07]: And I looked it up and it says, usually a dad considered alternate style dad.
[SPEAKER_07]: A dad's who music closed hobbies and overall vibe leaned outside the stereotypical suburban dad.
[SPEAKER_07]: think punk, emo, metal music, tattoos, vans or converse, maybe a mohawk, and still dressing like the scene he grew up in.
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, all right.
[SPEAKER_06]: So you are you are you are very aware of your unique style, correct?
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, and I looked at then I looked up photos of me with my kids and they were little and I'm always in a hoodie and shorts and stuff.
[SPEAKER_07]: So I fit the profile.
[SPEAKER_07]: It was just a new
[SPEAKER_06]: When you were, you've been married twice, so you've done your share of, thank you, Rob.
[SPEAKER_06]: Let's let that land for a second.
[SPEAKER_06]: Sure.
[SPEAKER_06]: When you were doing your dating scene, I'm the type of guy, the type of dad, that, uh,
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm traditional.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'd probably be a little, uh, you know, I'd take a moment.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'd give pause if I saw you trundling up the walkway to pick up my daughter, one of my daughters.
[SPEAKER_06]: Let me ask you this question.
[SPEAKER_06]: Did you ever feel any tension at all when you, uh, were dating in the dating scene?
[SPEAKER_06]: I've done not be your wise.
[SPEAKER_06]: It could be anybody you ever did.
[SPEAKER_07]: No, because I was always like that's where I met that's where I met girls was in the same scene So it was the same type of people and back then did you have the Mohawk or were you with the shaved head?
[SPEAKER_07]: No, I had the shaved head.
[SPEAKER_07]: See, you had a shaved head.
[SPEAKER_07]: Well, like like the like not not like Rob But no one's like me cut short like a crew cut like a crew cut and in did you like M&M Mike did you have the tattoos
[SPEAKER_06]: I had some tattoos and did and you never, when you said the same scene, are you talking about church?
[SPEAKER_07]: or the punk music scene.
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, we have what I'm talking about like you meet a girl and you're gonna take her out and you matter at a Johnny Rotten concert.
[SPEAKER_06]: And you go knock on the door and you know, if the dad like me comes to the door and I see a guy with a faux hawk and tattoos, you know, wearing vans with cargo pants.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm gonna be, you know, just, let me go get my gun.
[SPEAKER_05]: No, I would not be I wouldn't be thrown by his hair.
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think my that's how you're best buddies with him.
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know, but I'm saying that if you're a side for just a second and I finish.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, you know, but you're very easy going dead.
[SPEAKER_05]: You're not like me.
[SPEAKER_05]: But I say the hair wouldn't throw me, but if he showed up in like floppy black jeans with the chain hanging down, if I saw the tattoos, if I sensed that it was sort of a punk or goth even lifestyle, that would throw me.
[SPEAKER_05]: I wouldn't like that.
[SPEAKER_05]: But the hair are by itself.
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, that's not much.
[SPEAKER_06]: Another Steve Hernandez, I've quoted him twice on the show today.
[SPEAKER_06]: Do they have punk praise bands?
[SPEAKER_07]: I believe so there's definitely a lot of punk Christian bands that I grew up into.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_06]: All right.
[SPEAKER_07]: So the answer is that.
[SPEAKER_06]: And you never did have an incident with parents?
[SPEAKER_07]: No, no parent incidents.
[SPEAKER_06]: I know.
[SPEAKER_06]: I know that when I went to meet Carlos Mom for the first time, I was as nervous as I had ever been meeting a parent in my lifetime.
[SPEAKER_06]: Because the more you're meeting my dad, more the meeting your father.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: And the only reason I was nervous meeting your dad is because he was so much cooler than you were.
[SPEAKER_06]: I know.
[SPEAKER_05]: I think it's mean that it was true.
[SPEAKER_06]: The idea of the age difference I was terrified and they could not have made me feel more calm.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm almost going to hit on you.
[SPEAKER_06]: Thank you.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's quite enough.
[SPEAKER_06]: The Christian said that.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: We have to take a break.
[SPEAKER_06]: When we come back, do you have some beautiful video for us today?
[SPEAKER_06]: I have video of Josh as a teenager, getting a tattoo.
[SPEAKER_06]: with a shaved head.
[SPEAKER_05]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_06]: Hey, summertime is prime real estate for bugs.

[SPEAKER_06]: Hot outside.
[SPEAKER_06]: Cool house bugs like cool.
[SPEAKER_06]: They don't like hot rides.
[SPEAKER_06]: Apparently every ant spider and creepy little thing with too many legs has your address.
[SPEAKER_06]: He victim with pesty.
[SPEAKER_06]: Pestic gives you professional, great pest control without having to pay some guy to show up at your house with a clipboard and a spray tank and an open hand for you to place cash into.

[SPEAKER_06]: Everything shows up ready to go reusable, electronic spray or mixing bag pesticide gloves and
[SPEAKER_06]: Boom!
[SPEAKER_09]: Boom!
[SPEAKER_06]: Go kill some bugs.
[SPEAKER_06]: I've used it, Rob's used it.
[SPEAKER_06]: We're believers, keep insects dead.
[SPEAKER_06]: Pesty is kid and pet friendly, and their products have been used safely in schools and hospitals across the country, and here's the best part.
[SPEAKER_06]: 100% bug free guarantee.
[SPEAKER_06]: If Pesty doesn't solve your problem, you get your money back.
[SPEAKER_06]: So this summer, your house has a new policy.
[SPEAKER_06]: People, welcome.
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, I'm sorry.
[SPEAKER_06]: We've got to stand up, we've got to do it, but... Alright, hold on.
[SPEAKER_06]: This summer, your house has a new policy.
[SPEAKER_06]: Now there's clear punctuation.
[SPEAKER_06]: You dumb, dingleberry, O'Mara.
[SPEAKER_06]: Excuse me, let me try it again.
[SPEAKER_06]: Here we go.
[SPEAKER_05]: Really fine.
[SPEAKER_06]: Alright.
[SPEAKER_06]: So, this summer, your house has a new policy, colon.

[SPEAKER_05]: I still think John love it's is funny I do too John love it's is touring right now and putting up little bits of his act.
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh good This is very brief, but to say it didn't make me laugh would bring that's a lot ahead of files
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, they're horrible disgusting people, but at least they drive slowly to the start of this story.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you dropped him.
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, here we go, talking about.
[SPEAKER_05]: Can't do that with comedy.
[SPEAKER_01]: Pedophiles.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're horrible disgusting people, but at least they drive slowly through the school zone.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's a good joke.
[SPEAKER_05]: It's a great joke.
[SPEAKER_06]: It's a great joke.
[SPEAKER_06]: And he's funny.
[SPEAKER_06]: And does he do the entire act at the piano?
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_05]: I've not seen any reports.
[SPEAKER_05]: But I would see that in a New York movie.
[SPEAKER_06]: One more time, please, from Mr. Levitt's office.
[SPEAKER_06]: Absolutely.
[SPEAKER_05]: John Levitt's.
[SPEAKER_05]: And you know, he's been a part of our life now.
[SPEAKER_05]: He started on Saturday Night Live in 1985.
[SPEAKER_05]: Wow.
[SPEAKER_05]: So I mean, that's 51 years of like 41 years of love.
[SPEAKER_05]: Wow.
[SPEAKER_01]: pedophiles.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're horrible disgusting people, but at least they drive slowly through the skull zone.
[SPEAKER_05]: One of my favorite stories that is told often about him is when he would show up with a decent looking date to the Saturday Night Live rap party, he'd go up to every member of the cast and go, um, jealous.
[SPEAKER_05]: All right, Mike, remember, I know you've been a disjockey and a radio personality for a long time, but didn't you use to want to run public relations for the town of Duluth, Minnesota?
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, absolutely.
[SPEAKER_06]: Absolutely.
[SPEAKER_05]: And remember, you really wanted to pack the place with tourists.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_05]: And if you think Duluth, how do you do that?
[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe hire a Hollywood star?
[SPEAKER_06]: All I know is, you know, we've got a panic on the 4th of July.
[SPEAKER_05]: Mike, I think you will appreciate this ad.
[SPEAKER_05]: For once again, Duluth, Minnesota.
[SPEAKER_05]: This is the celebrity they choose.
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I went on a spring in 1983, skiing in Switzerland, a little golf.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's got a little sailing in Switzerland.
[SPEAKER_02]: I know.
[SPEAKER_02]: I chose to Mexico, swimming in Hawaii, and on my way to that city by the bay with its restaurants and on beyond San Francisco.
[SPEAKER_02]: I decided to stop over in Duluth to that's my breath.
[SPEAKER_02]: But you know what, it took my breath away.
[SPEAKER_02]: I couldn't say myself a lot of traveling, you know why?
[SPEAKER_02]: Because it's all right here, Duluth, who loves your baby, I do.
[SPEAKER_07]: Mike don't lose because telly's there They don't show you anything about blue.
[SPEAKER_07]: No, it's just always a fine good.
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know what are they thinking that the only really Local references the fact that he points to approximately where Duluth is on a globe That's no good.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's a little baby come on.
[SPEAKER_06]: I took my breath away
[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, it's uh, would you say if we were to go back to the mid or early 1980s, Glenn Close was a lovely woman?
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah, I mean, I think when she did fatal attraction.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, exactly in that.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, she came across as the very lovely address in the natural.
[SPEAKER_05]: She had more of a wholesome duty.
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, absolutely.
[SPEAKER_06]: I love her character in the natural.
[SPEAKER_05]: She has been posting on the socials and she's just, she doesn't look the way I remember her.
[SPEAKER_08]: Hi, everyone, I'm home.
[SPEAKER_08]: Coming down, wearing my mama's shirt, letting the wind blow through my white hair.

[SPEAKER_05]: Correct, very nice.
[SPEAKER_05]: One close.
[SPEAKER_05]: That doesn't work really with any other line.
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, go ahead.
[SPEAKER_05]: All right, Mike, they ran this computer.
[SPEAKER_05]: This, uh, I'm sorry.
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm distracted.
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, they ran this clip through a computer and they said, this is by definition, what every Luke Bryan song sounds like to people when they see Luke Bryan in concert.
[SPEAKER_09]: He can paint his Macaroni Slarpan on my dog Baloney then we're going down to the park to park our trucks and we Rave our engine real loud and we're blowing black smoke with our pants That's how Luke Bryan sounds like how much joy did you experience when you saw that that I was so happy that I looked like this
[SPEAKER_05]: And make no mistake.
[SPEAKER_05]: I love me some blank clothes.
[SPEAKER_05]: What a great catalog of work.
[SPEAKER_06]: Stage in screen.
[SPEAKER_06]: Thank you.
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, go ahead and qualify.
[SPEAKER_06]: We got a good idea.
[SPEAKER_06]: We'll be back tomorrow with a brand new episode and more fun and more thrills.
[SPEAKER_06]: We never got to the Tesla fund that I want to do tomorrow.
[SPEAKER_06]: So we will see you tomorrow.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'll also tell you about my.
[SPEAKER_06]: My little tearful farewell that I had that was really emotionless for Josh Soroka and Rob Spiewag.
[SPEAKER_06]: This is Mike O'Marrow saying be happy make somebody else let a smile be your handshake and always return debit cards to their proper owners no no matter what the people in the comments say.
[SPEAKER_06]: So long, a rip of it.
