<v Speaker 1>What's going on, guys? Wednesday night, coming out of the

<v Speaker 1>biggest AEW pay-per-view of the year. It is your Dynamite

<v Speaker 1>Wednesday recap. You know, we're coming out of one of

<v Speaker 1>the best pay-per-views of the entire year. If you were

<v Speaker 1>with us on Sunday, three hours we talked about that pay-per-view.

<v Speaker 1>I very much enjoyed the show from Wembley, and it

<v Speaker 1>felt like a new chapter in many ways. It felt

<v Speaker 1>a little bit like a reset, not a total reset,

<v Speaker 1>but we had a new world champion crowned in the

<v Speaker 1>main event. We had a new Women's World Champion crowned.

<v Speaker 1>And a bunch of other titles changed hands. We had

<v Speaker 1>some new faces, right, injected into the tag team division.

<v Speaker 1>So I was very curious to see what the follow-up

<v Speaker 1>would be like. We know how some of these shows

<v Speaker 1>can go sometimes. Sometimes they don't have access to everybody

<v Speaker 1>because they beat the crap out of themselves. And there

<v Speaker 1>are some big names that are missing from these shows.

<v Speaker 1>We did have the World Champion, though, on the show.

<v Speaker 1>He opened the show. He closed the show. And coming

<v Speaker 1>out of this show, when the main event was over...

<v Speaker 1>they set up a few different directions. And we got

<v Speaker 1>our all-out main event. They didn't waste any time, because

<v Speaker 1>it's only a few weeks away, and they're in Chicago,

<v Speaker 1>and they've got some competition that night in Chicago, and

<v Speaker 1>they have tickets to sell. And they want to make

<v Speaker 1>sure that people know exactly what that main event is

<v Speaker 1>going to be. And now we know it is going

<v Speaker 1>to be Jon Moxley challenging Will Ospreay for the AW

<v Speaker 1>World Championship, which... I figured would be the case, but

<v Speaker 1>that's why I had mentioned coming into it on Sunday

<v Speaker 1>that I thought Moxley would find his way into this

<v Speaker 1>casino gauntlet match and win the contract for a title match. Now,

<v Speaker 1>of course, we're talking about Jon Moxley here, so does

<v Speaker 1>he need to win a contract to get a title match?

<v Speaker 1>Of course not. Tony will just give him one. That's

<v Speaker 1>exactly what happened at the end of the show tonight

<v Speaker 1>because we had a big tag team match with Will

<v Speaker 1>Ospreay and members of United Empire and Andrade El Idolo.

<v Speaker 1>who won the contract. So he can cash in with

<v Speaker 1>one week's notice. He can cash in whenever he's good

<v Speaker 1>and ready to get that world championship match. And so

<v Speaker 1>they got a win over Ricochet and the Gates of

<v Speaker 1>Agony and the Dogs, which were Clark Connors and Gabe Kidd.

<v Speaker 1>And then there was some big brawl going on when

<v Speaker 1>the match was over and the Death Riders came out.

<v Speaker 1>And when all of it was said and done, we

<v Speaker 1>ended up with Jon Moxley in the ring with Will

<v Speaker 1>Ospreay and him putting the belt on Will Ospreay's shoulder.

<v Speaker 1>And I'm watching this, and all of a sudden, there's

<v Speaker 1>like a big commotion in the crowd. Like someone is

<v Speaker 1>coming out. I'm looking to see who it is, but

<v Speaker 1>nobody is coming out. Instead, what happened was they put

<v Speaker 1>a graphic up on the big screen showing the all-out

<v Speaker 1>main event is going to be Jon Moxley against Will Ospreay.

<v Speaker 1>That's how they announced it. And I saw this, and

<v Speaker 1>I'm like, okay, well, hey, I guess that's one way

<v Speaker 1>to announce your pay-per-view main event. Obviously, there have been

<v Speaker 1>issues between these two men going back to last year.

<v Speaker 1>This is not some new issue that has only recently

<v Speaker 1>evolved between these two. They had a match on pay-per-view

<v Speaker 1>earlier this year, Moxley beat him. We all knew it

<v Speaker 1>was only a matter of time before they rematched and

<v Speaker 1>Ospreay got his win back. And I had figured it

<v Speaker 1>would happen at All Out, so I'm not surprised they're

<v Speaker 1>going to this match. It's almost like, let's kind of

<v Speaker 1>wrap this up and get this out of the way

<v Speaker 1>so we can kind of move on beyond this. But

<v Speaker 1>the way they did it, I laughed when I saw

<v Speaker 1>the graphic on the screen. Tony Khan had just made

<v Speaker 1>an instant decision in the back. Jon Moxley had a

<v Speaker 1>look on his face of shock like, oh, he had

<v Speaker 1>no idea this was coming. He didn't lobby for it.

<v Speaker 1>He didn't ask for it. Tony Khan made a decision

<v Speaker 1>on the spot. And just like that, we have our

<v Speaker 1>all-out main event. The other match that was also announced

<v Speaker 1>for the pay-per-view, because we have two of them so far,

<v Speaker 1>is Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. They're going to be

<v Speaker 1>defending their tag team titles, and they're going to be

<v Speaker 1>defending them against the Young Bucks. So it's a rematch

<v Speaker 1>from All In, but there will be one more team involved,

<v Speaker 1>and that is FTR. So we're getting a three-way match,

<v Speaker 1>but not just any three-way match. We're getting tables. We're

<v Speaker 1>getting ladders. We're getting chairs. But we can't call it that.

<v Speaker 1>So it's going to be chairs, and it's going to

<v Speaker 1>be tables, and it's going to be ladders. So you're

<v Speaker 1>getting your... You're not getting TLC. You're getting a different acronym.

<v Speaker 1>Because legally, we can't call it TLC. But we're getting

<v Speaker 1>the stipulation match. And again, it all in, it's the

<v Speaker 1>first one. Copeland talked about this in the lead-up to

<v Speaker 1>the pay-per-view. He actually addressed why is there no stipulation

<v Speaker 1>for this match. He said he doesn't need one. This

<v Speaker 1>match has never happened before. You have two of these

<v Speaker 1>well-known veteran tag teams that have never clashed before. It

<v Speaker 1>does not need to be overbooked. You don't need a stipulation,

<v Speaker 1>and you leave it open for a rematch, and then

<v Speaker 1>you can add a stipulation. Not only did they add

<v Speaker 1>a stipulation, they added a whole other tag team. So

<v Speaker 1>those are the only two matches that are confirmed right

<v Speaker 1>now for the pay-per-view, but We have our first two

<v Speaker 1>as far as that goes. We also on this show,

<v Speaker 1>among other things, we had the return of Josh Alexander,

<v Speaker 1>who has been off television for most of the year

<v Speaker 1>with a knee injury. He made his return and the

<v Speaker 1>crowd went mild. I don't even know that a lot

<v Speaker 1>of the people in the crowd even knew initially who

<v Speaker 1>it was. We'll talk about how that happened and why

<v Speaker 1>I think I don't even think he should be part

<v Speaker 1>of this family anymore, quite frankly. Mercedes Monet. had her

<v Speaker 1>celebration tonight. She was the other champion that was crowned.

<v Speaker 1>Big world champion that was crowned on Sunday, and we've

<v Speaker 1>seen so many of these celebrations. Every belt that she won,

<v Speaker 1>it felt like every other week there was a new

<v Speaker 1>Mercedes celebration. So what were they going to do to

<v Speaker 1>make this different? Willow Nightingale was not on this show.

<v Speaker 1>Willow Nightingale has a broken hand. Willow Nightingale needs to

<v Speaker 1>go away and heal that hand so she can come

<v Speaker 1>back 100%. Tecla was there, though. Tekla hasn't been doing

<v Speaker 1>a whole hell of a lot other than drinking. I'm

<v Speaker 1>starting to think that there's a problem here. But she

<v Speaker 1>was in the crowd drinking and she made it very clear.

<v Speaker 1>You let me know when the time is right for

<v Speaker 1>me to take that title from you. I don't know

<v Speaker 1>if that means that's all out. I would imagine it

<v Speaker 1>would be because I was racking my brain trying to

<v Speaker 1>figure out who would be the next obvious person to

<v Speaker 1>step up to Mercedes and put her in the ring

<v Speaker 1>with as far as like first world title defense. which

<v Speaker 1>would presumably be at the pay-per-view. It's not going to

<v Speaker 1>be Willow. If not Tekla, then who? There really is

<v Speaker 1>no obvious person. Tekla is the one who makes sense.

<v Speaker 1>They haven't really set anybody else up as an obvious

<v Speaker 1>world title challenger for her. So I'm looking forward to that.

<v Speaker 1>That's a first-time-ever match. Tekla's being cheered by these crowds,

<v Speaker 1>you know, every week like a babyface. And... She'll be

<v Speaker 1>the de facto babyface anyway if she's in there with Mercedes.

<v Speaker 1>So they did not make that official, but that looks

<v Speaker 1>like it's probably going to be a Chicago match. There

<v Speaker 1>was a great MJF promo. Unfortunately, he wasn't there. He

<v Speaker 1>was not there live. We've had these post-pay-per-view episodes before

<v Speaker 1>where they'll show MJF in the back after his match

<v Speaker 1>from the pay-per-view. And he'll cut this great promo, but

<v Speaker 1>he's not there. Tonight was another one of those nights.

<v Speaker 1>And I thought the promo that he cut was really,

<v Speaker 1>really good. And the gist of it was he put

<v Speaker 1>Will Ospreay on notice that you're never going to see

<v Speaker 1>it coming. Like, you have been a thorn in my side,

<v Speaker 1>and I'm going to ruin everything for you. You're not

<v Speaker 1>going to know when. You're not going to know where.

<v Speaker 1>But the tension will be such that you'll be begging

<v Speaker 1>for it, right? Because you just have to look over

<v Speaker 1>your shoulder at all times. When you least expect it,

<v Speaker 1>when the fans least expect it, he'll be there to

<v Speaker 1>screw him over. Which also tells me that there really

<v Speaker 1>is no sense of direction for MJF right now. It's

<v Speaker 1>all about Ospreay, him going after the championship, which would

<v Speaker 1>make sense because he wants his belt back. But you

<v Speaker 1>don't go right to him as the first challenger. So

<v Speaker 1>do you go to him as the second challenger? Do

<v Speaker 1>you go to him at the end of the year

<v Speaker 1>at World's End? I don't know. I don't know when

<v Speaker 1>the right time is to do it. It's not right now.

<v Speaker 1>But I didn't get the sense that there's anything else

<v Speaker 1>for him to do. until he's ready to strike, until

<v Speaker 1>he's ready to pounce. Now, he wasn't there live. Kenny

<v Speaker 1>Omega was not there live. Kenny Omega was not on

<v Speaker 1>the show at all, which is fine. He just had

<v Speaker 1>that main event on Sunday, lost the championship, let the

<v Speaker 1>man go home and rest. Tony Khan said he felt

<v Speaker 1>like he made a mistake last year by running him

<v Speaker 1>too hard. Physically, he can't recover and do the same

<v Speaker 1>things he did 10 years ago. So coming out of

<v Speaker 1>the main event of that pay-per-view, I figure we're not

<v Speaker 1>going to see him probably for a little bit. But

<v Speaker 1>we had the new level. Now, Kofi and Creed, they

<v Speaker 1>debuted on Sunday. They won the Trios belts with Swerve Strickland.

<v Speaker 1>They were very quick to announce their first match for

<v Speaker 1>this show, which was going to be them defending those

<v Speaker 1>titles against the Rascals. And we got it. That was

<v Speaker 1>the best thing on the entire show, bell-to-bell. Really liked

<v Speaker 1>that match. And they seemed to be having a lot

<v Speaker 1>of fun, too. judging from the smiles on their faces. Again,

<v Speaker 1>they're looking around like, man, this is fun, you know,

<v Speaker 1>to actually be back on TV, number one, and number two,

<v Speaker 1>be in there with, you know, a new team that

<v Speaker 1>we haven't had the chance to work with before. So

<v Speaker 1>this is the perfect environment for them. And I very

<v Speaker 1>much enjoyed their match. On the whole, I thought that

<v Speaker 1>it was a very solid episode, you know, not a

<v Speaker 1>perfect show. They had a match on the show with

<v Speaker 1>john moxley and ar fox now the show again big

<v Speaker 1>overrun 25 minutes and i'm like did we really need

<v Speaker 1>john moxley and ar fox the answer is no we

<v Speaker 1>did not especially if moxley was just going to come

<v Speaker 1>out at the end of the show anyway and then

<v Speaker 1>a few other things like brit baker brit baker made

<v Speaker 1>her return on sunday on the pre-show she was on

<v Speaker 1>the show tonight But it was a very quick backstage segment.

<v Speaker 1>My impression watching that is that she's not going to

<v Speaker 1>be doing much in the way of wrestling. I'm not

<v Speaker 1>going to say that she's not wrestling at all. But

<v Speaker 1>she's really coming across more as a manager for Persephone

<v Speaker 1>than anything else. And maybe that's the plan, to start

<v Speaker 1>her out that way. Eventually there's a rift between them

<v Speaker 1>and then she gets in the ring. So I don't

<v Speaker 1>know when we're actually going to see her wrestle again.

<v Speaker 1>Right now she's putting over Percy, as she calls her,

<v Speaker 1>and that's her role, to be almost like a spokesperson

<v Speaker 1>for her. But that was the only Britt Baker appearance

<v Speaker 1>on the show tonight. We'll go through the entire thing.

<v Speaker 1>There was a bunch of other backstage stuff going on.

<v Speaker 1>On the whole, I enjoyed it. So we'll talk about

<v Speaker 1>the whole thing from top to bottom here. This is

<v Speaker 1>Wembley Stadium, which was the new AEW world champion, Will Ospreay.

<v Speaker 1>They were in Texas tonight. I believe they had a

<v Speaker 1>crowd of about 3,000. I don't know why they chose

<v Speaker 1>Texas coming out of London. I don't know what the

<v Speaker 1>significance behind this week needing to be Texas was, but

<v Speaker 1>I think they had about 3,000 in the venue. which

<v Speaker 1>is quite the comedown, I will say, from 40,000 to 3,000.

<v Speaker 1>But they were allowed. They were allowed 3,000. Ospreay apologized

<v Speaker 1>for looking a little rough, because he had some stitches

<v Speaker 1>on his forehead. And the fans were chanting for him,

<v Speaker 1>and he said, look, I don't want to cry anymore

<v Speaker 1>this week. He's been on a bender since Sunday. Almost

<v Speaker 1>missed his flight, but he's a charming man, so he

<v Speaker 1>talked his way onto the plane. First order of business, though,

<v Speaker 1>he mentions Kenny Omega. Said the last 10 years, Omega

<v Speaker 1>has been the best in the world, and he still is.

<v Speaker 1>And 364 days out of the year, Kenny Omega is

<v Speaker 1>a better wrestler than Will Ospreay. But it only takes

<v Speaker 1>one day to become champion. Says two wins for Kenny,

<v Speaker 1>two wins for him. He's satisfied with being Kenny's equal.

<v Speaker 1>but if Omega is not you just name the time

<v Speaker 1>and place and we'll sort it out once and for

<v Speaker 1>all so you gotta leave it open for one more

<v Speaker 1>match even though we don't really need one more match

<v Speaker 1>if we get one more Kenny Omega Will Ospreay match

<v Speaker 1>it's not gonna be for a few years I don't

<v Speaker 1>see any need to go back to that anytime soon

<v Speaker 1>Arabian Nights says 3,000 tonight were louder than that comatose

<v Speaker 1>Raw crowd on Monday Yeah. Yeah. I mean, look, that's

<v Speaker 1>what happens sometimes. You could have 11,000 people in the

<v Speaker 1>building and you can hear fucking air conditioner. It depends

<v Speaker 1>on what city you're in and what kind of show

<v Speaker 1>you're putting on. That was not the hottest crowd. I'm

<v Speaker 1>actually kind of surprised given that the show was taped

<v Speaker 1>on Monday. They didn't sweeten the crowd a little bit more.

<v Speaker 1>They used to love sweetening those crowds. Let me tell you. Anyway,

<v Speaker 1>he said that he started thinking of all the other

<v Speaker 1>men who have held this championship. He mentioned names like

<v Speaker 1>Chris Jericho and Hangman Page, John Moxley, Kenny Omega, Swerve Strickland,

<v Speaker 1>and Bryan Danielson. They were all his heroes, but now

<v Speaker 1>he is amongst all of them. All of my idols,

<v Speaker 1>they're now my rivals. And now I'm someone who has

<v Speaker 1>struggled in the past to say that I'm the guy.

<v Speaker 1>He struggles with confidence issues, but I look down now

<v Speaker 1>at this belt and I can tell you that I

<v Speaker 1>am the standard. Says, I am the Billy Goat. I

<v Speaker 1>am the best in the world. I am your AEW

<v Speaker 1>world champion. If you want to take the title from me,

<v Speaker 1>you're going to have to walk through the same fire

<v Speaker 1>that I walked through. I will see you at the

<v Speaker 1>end of the line, bruv. So Ospreay then thanks his

<v Speaker 1>United Empire brothers for having his back in Japan and

<v Speaker 1>on Sunday at Wembley Stadium. But there's something that he's

<v Speaker 1>been missing since he came to AEW. Says, they're going

<v Speaker 1>to have a United Empire in Japan. And he said,

<v Speaker 1>that's fine. But he would like to create some opportunities

<v Speaker 1>here in AEW. So he said he's going to start

<v Speaker 1>looking and he's going to bring the United Empire here.

<v Speaker 1>He's going to bring the United Empire to this company.

<v Speaker 1>So then the demand comes out, Ricochet. He takes the microphone,

<v Speaker 1>cuts him off and says, look, I'm not out here

<v Speaker 1>to rain on your parade. Both of us know that

<v Speaker 1>we have unfinished business. Our careers are forever intertwined. And

<v Speaker 1>I know the fans don't like me, but it's because

<v Speaker 1>they don't know me like you do. Ospreay would not

<v Speaker 1>be in the main event of All Out without Ricochet.

<v Speaker 1>So he demands, get it? Ha ha. He demands the

<v Speaker 1>first title shot coming out of All In. Gabe Kidstorm's out.

<v Speaker 1>And he's got Clark Connors with him. I don't know

<v Speaker 1>where David Finley was. And he's screaming that Ospreay took

<v Speaker 1>Kid's chance to become the first English IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.

<v Speaker 1>And now he's taken his opportunity away to become the

<v Speaker 1>first AW world champion born in England. But this is

<v Speaker 1>nothing compared to what he is going to take from

<v Speaker 1>Ospreay and his family. So Ricochet pipes up and he says, look,

<v Speaker 1>that's all well and good. As long as the two

<v Speaker 1>of us know that I'm the first in line for

<v Speaker 1>a title shot. And Kidd said, I don't want the title.

<v Speaker 1>I don't want the title. Not yet. I want to

<v Speaker 1>take his life. Kid said that he's looking around right now.

<v Speaker 1>It's five on one. Because it's him and Connors and

<v Speaker 1>Ricochet and Gates of Agony. So all five of them,

<v Speaker 1>they come down to the ring. And all of a sudden,

<v Speaker 1>here comes Callum Newman. And here comes Francesco Akira. Here

<v Speaker 1>comes Hanare from the United Empire. They all have chairs.

<v Speaker 1>Osprey says, look, we can do one of two things.

<v Speaker 1>We can fight right now in our street clothes. Or

<v Speaker 1>we can go back there and change. And we can

<v Speaker 1>come back out later and meet in the main event.

<v Speaker 1>And so that was the opening segment. I thought the

<v Speaker 1>Osprey promo was perfectly fine. He is the champion now,

<v Speaker 1>and he's talking about how this is a title that's

<v Speaker 1>been held by all of these names. He's running down

<v Speaker 1>the list of all the former champions, but now I'm

<v Speaker 1>the guy. He's establishing that I'm the man now. Everything

<v Speaker 1>runs through me. You want this belt, you have to

<v Speaker 1>come through me. Very simple. Now, I could have done

<v Speaker 1>without the man being the first people to come out

<v Speaker 1>and cut him off, but it was all to set

<v Speaker 1>up the main event for the end of the show.

<v Speaker 1>So I thought it was fine. And Ricochet, by the way,

<v Speaker 1>as a singles match, if that was a match they

<v Speaker 1>wanted to do one-on-one, they can get a TV main

<v Speaker 1>event out of that. That's not going to be a

<v Speaker 1>pay-per-view main event, but you could do a Dynamite main

<v Speaker 1>event or something if you wanted to do a championship match.

<v Speaker 1>I don't know why you know we would want to

<v Speaker 1>be doing ricochet for the aw world championship right now

<v Speaker 1>at this moment the way that the other demand has

<v Speaker 1>been booked for a while but osprey could very well

<v Speaker 1>be one of these babyface champions who says look you

<v Speaker 1>want a shot just say the word what is it

<v Speaker 1>that cody said uh when he was champion he told

<v Speaker 1>punk just say when and be his version of just

<v Speaker 1>say when. And then boom, you get a title shot.

<v Speaker 1>I mean, fuck it, look at Darby. Look at the

<v Speaker 1>Darby Allen title run in May. He was defending the

<v Speaker 1>championship every week against anybody. Anybody who wanted a shot

<v Speaker 1>got a shot. If you would have raised your hand

<v Speaker 1>and said, hey, I want a world title shot, he

<v Speaker 1>probably would have given you one too. So you could

<v Speaker 1>do Osprey and Ricochet. You could do Osprey and Gabe Kidd.

<v Speaker 1>Those are not pay-per-view main events to me. Yeah, they

<v Speaker 1>need bigger names, I think, to sell tickets and to

<v Speaker 1>promote for these main events like the one they're doing

<v Speaker 1>in a few weeks in Chicago. But the thing that

<v Speaker 1>was of interest to me was this idea of a

<v Speaker 1>new United Empire. Now, I know we have enough factions

<v Speaker 1>of them, which would be fucking awesome. So that was

<v Speaker 1>the first name that popped in my head. The second

<v Speaker 1>name that popped into my head was Kyle Fletcher. Because

<v Speaker 1>we saw what happened at All In, and we have

<v Speaker 1>to assume that Kyle Fletcher is not going to be,

<v Speaker 1>in the long term, still a member of the Don

<v Speaker 1>Callis family if we're sitting here talking about this show

<v Speaker 1>six months from now, a year from now. When the

<v Speaker 1>time comes that he is ready to bounce and they

<v Speaker 1>want to turn him babyface, and I wouldn't do it now,

<v Speaker 1>but when that time comes, if Ospreay has his own crew,

<v Speaker 1>There's history between the two of them. There's a lot

<v Speaker 1>of bad blood as well. But they used to be

<v Speaker 1>like this, right? These two used to be best friends.

<v Speaker 1>This man looked up to Will Osprey. So who's to

<v Speaker 1>say that Kyle Fletcher doesn't trade one group for another

<v Speaker 1>and end up in some new version of the United Empire?

<v Speaker 1>Like next year. I think that could work. One of

<v Speaker 1>the things he said in this promo was giving people opportunities.

<v Speaker 1>So we could think of these names that are already established,

<v Speaker 1>like a Kyle Fletcher, or come up with another big

<v Speaker 1>name that you want to think of, or someone who

<v Speaker 1>isn't even in the company right now like a Dragunov.

<v Speaker 1>I do think, though, you want to at least consider

<v Speaker 1>a spot in a group like that for one of

<v Speaker 1>the young guys on the roster. And one of the

<v Speaker 1>names I thought of was Nick Wayne. And right now,

<v Speaker 1>Nick Wayne is, you know, he's an annoying heel, but

<v Speaker 1>If he is someone that Tony Khan, like he did

<v Speaker 1>with Kevin Knight this year, really wants to invest time

<v Speaker 1>in and give more exposure to and put him in

<v Speaker 1>a big spot, that could be a spot. If he

<v Speaker 1>was to turn babyface at some point, Nick Wayne ends

<v Speaker 1>up in a group like that. So it doesn't have

<v Speaker 1>to be Nick Wayne. I'm just putting him out there

<v Speaker 1>also just as an example that there are people that

<v Speaker 1>you could go through the roster. I'm sure you can

<v Speaker 1>identify certain people on that roster, younger people. Who could

<v Speaker 1>benefit from being in a spot like that? It doesn't

<v Speaker 1>just have to be old guys or established guys. If

<v Speaker 1>this is what they're going to do, they should use

<v Speaker 1>it to help elevate someone. Whoever that person is. Right?

<v Speaker 1>This could be a good thing. But it all comes

<v Speaker 1>down to like, who do you choose? Who does Tony

<v Speaker 1>want in that spot? And I think that would say

<v Speaker 1>a lot about what he thinks of that person. As

<v Speaker 1>was the case with Kevin Knight when he joined the

<v Speaker 1>Callis family, which I thought was a terrible move. And

<v Speaker 1>I still feel like he really should probably, you know,

<v Speaker 1>exit the family. I don't know that it's really benefiting him.

<v Speaker 1>But in this case, I think this could. This could

<v Speaker 1>benefit someone. We have the new Trios champions. Swerve Strickland.

<v Speaker 1>And the new level. Kofi and Austin Creed. hot off

<v Speaker 1>their debut at Wembley stadium on Sunday. This was their

<v Speaker 1>dynamite debut. They were defending those trios titles against the rascals.

<v Speaker 1>So when they announced this match on Sunday, I said, man,

<v Speaker 1>that sounds, that match sounds like it could be a

<v Speaker 1>lot of fun. So I was, I was genuinely looking

<v Speaker 1>forward to seeing Kofi Kingston, uh, in the ring, you know,

<v Speaker 1>doing whatever, you know, he could do in there with

<v Speaker 1>Desmond Xavier and Myron Reed and, you know, trying to

<v Speaker 1>keep up with those guys because, uh, We just haven't

<v Speaker 1>seen him, I think, in the ring, or either one

<v Speaker 1>of these guys, really, in the ring with anybody new

<v Speaker 1>in so long. I'm not even looking at all the

<v Speaker 1>different teams that were in the trios match on Sunday

<v Speaker 1>in a smaller, more controlled environment like this. You know,

<v Speaker 1>like real tag team wrestling. So I was looking forward

<v Speaker 1>to this one. Kofi, there were a couple of different

<v Speaker 1>spots in this match from both of them where they

<v Speaker 1>were doing things that I had not seen them do before.

<v Speaker 1>There was one spot where Kofi, he got up on

<v Speaker 1>Creed's shoulders, and he basically, Creed kind of backflipped Kofi

<v Speaker 1>off of him onto one of the Rascals with a splash.

<v Speaker 1>I was like, oh, okay. That's different. I don't remember

<v Speaker 1>them doing that spot before. Zachary Wentz, he answered with

<v Speaker 1>a torneo dive out of the corner. There was the

<v Speaker 1>Kofi trust fall dive that he does in a lot

<v Speaker 1>of his matches out onto the pile outside. So the

<v Speaker 1>champions were in control ahead of the commercial break. Creed

<v Speaker 1>was isolated for a while before planting Wentz with a

<v Speaker 1>Liger bomb. Myron Reed tags in. And he ate a

<v Speaker 1>springboard clothesline from Kofi, who took a hot tag and

<v Speaker 1>said he was running wild. We got a boom drop

<v Speaker 1>from Kofi. Creed made a blind tag and hit a

<v Speaker 1>slingshot tornado DDT. Now later... Kofi went up top. He

<v Speaker 1>got cut off by Desmond Xavier. And he tried for

<v Speaker 1>a topay. But he got dropped with an SOS by Kofi,

<v Speaker 1>which the announcers did not know how to call. Because

<v Speaker 1>they're not going to call it the SOS anymore. So

<v Speaker 1>that move needs a new name. We should try to

<v Speaker 1>come up with some sort of playoff new level. See

<v Speaker 1>what you guys can come up with. We'll see if

<v Speaker 1>we can rename the move. Xavier versus Xavier, yeah. That's

<v Speaker 1>why I said Desmond Xavier. I have to specify which

<v Speaker 1>Xavier I'm talking about. So there was a crazy spot

<v Speaker 1>where Creed, he was on the apron. And he's getting

<v Speaker 1>all fired up, right? So he's standing on the apron.

<v Speaker 1>And all of a sudden, Myron Reed, he flies out

<v Speaker 1>over the top rope with a cutter. And on his

<v Speaker 1>way down to the floor, he also, Swerve was out there.

<v Speaker 1>And in like one motion, as he's giving this guy

<v Speaker 1>a cutter from over the top or up to the floor,

<v Speaker 1>he takes Swerve over and down with a Hurricane Ron.

<v Speaker 1>And everybody in the crowd lost their mind. It was

<v Speaker 1>a great fucking spot. Everybody in the crowd lost their minds.

<v Speaker 1>Back inside, Kofi escaped a double team, hit the trouble

<v Speaker 1>in paradise on Reed in the corner, which again, of course,

<v Speaker 1>they did not identify. Desmond, though, he met Kofi with

<v Speaker 1>a rolling kick in the corner. And right as Desmond

<v Speaker 1>was going for a handspring Pele kick, Swerve Strickland hit

<v Speaker 1>him with a house call out of midair. Great fucking counter.

<v Speaker 1>So the new level they took out, Desmond with a

<v Speaker 1>double stomp power slam combo. Swerve ended things with one

<v Speaker 1>last house call kick. And I believe it was Kofi

<v Speaker 1>who covered for the wind. So as the Trios champs

<v Speaker 1>were headed to the back, the Young Bucks were on

<v Speaker 1>their way out for the next segment. So we got

<v Speaker 1>another little face-off, as we did on Sunday, between the

<v Speaker 1>Bucks and the New Level. And the Bucks were admiring

<v Speaker 1>their Trios belts and kind of giving them a little

<v Speaker 1>golf clap. And off to the ring they went. I

<v Speaker 1>will say, as far as the match goes, that is

<v Speaker 1>as good as Kofi and Creed have looked in the

<v Speaker 1>ring in years. They look like they were having a

<v Speaker 1>lot of fun in there. They look like, I mean,

<v Speaker 1>they were busting out new stuff I haven't seen them do.

<v Speaker 1>The Rascals were also great here. I don't want to

<v Speaker 1>take anything away from the Rascals. I mean, the Rascals

<v Speaker 1>are always great. Usually they're on collision. I'm sure they

<v Speaker 1>wanted to show out because they got a rare opportunity

<v Speaker 1>to go out there on a Wednesday, and I'm sure

<v Speaker 1>they would like more of them. So they more than

<v Speaker 1>held up their own. They were great first opponents for

<v Speaker 1>these guys because you knew they were going to go

<v Speaker 1>in there and give them a great match. And for

<v Speaker 1>Tony Khan, the priority here was not, you know, let's

<v Speaker 1>make the rascals look good. It was the rascals are

<v Speaker 1>going to help make these guys look great and give

<v Speaker 1>them the best possible match you could ask for. And

<v Speaker 1>that's what they did. They did their job. Myron Reed

<v Speaker 1>in particular, I thought was really good in this match.

<v Speaker 1>And then we had that little tease at the end.

<v Speaker 1>You don't have to give that match away anytime soon.

<v Speaker 1>I don't think you do that match, honestly, until the

<v Speaker 1>Bucks already have the tag belts. Because the Bucs are

<v Speaker 1>going to get the belts back at some point soon.

<v Speaker 1>It could be all out. The Bucs are going to

<v Speaker 1>get the belts back soon. And at that point, even then,

<v Speaker 1>you can wait. Take your time. Next year. First time ever.

<v Speaker 1>New level Young Bucs. Do it a double or nothing. Or,

<v Speaker 1>better yet... I'm sure Tony is planning some big event

<v Speaker 1>for April. Could be all in. I mentioned that on

<v Speaker 1>TNT last night. Who knows? Maybe he's bumping all in

<v Speaker 1>up from August to April. But whether it's that or

<v Speaker 1>Revolution or something else, maybe you save that match for

<v Speaker 1>whatever he's planning for April. You don't have to go

<v Speaker 1>to it soon. These little teases, are planting seeds for

<v Speaker 1>the eventual match. But the tag team division is so strong.

<v Speaker 1>There are enough teams right now. And these guys are

<v Speaker 1>also doing trios at the moment. I don't want to

<v Speaker 1>see them go to it anytime soon. I remember when

<v Speaker 1>Ricochet came in. And what was it? Within a month?

<v Speaker 1>Two months? We had Ospreay and Ricochet. Which was a

<v Speaker 1>great match. But you don't always have to rush right

<v Speaker 1>into it. Megan Bain, when she finally made it to TV,

<v Speaker 1>I mean, there were rumors that she was signed for

<v Speaker 1>a while, but she finally debuted on TV. And like

<v Speaker 1>almost instantly, she was challenging for the world championship. And

<v Speaker 1>he does that sometimes, you know, where he goes right

<v Speaker 1>into it. Take your time. On this, you could take

<v Speaker 1>your time. The Young Bucks were in the ring, though,

<v Speaker 1>for the next segment. Matt Jackson said that everyone had

<v Speaker 1>seen what happened at All In. And he said that

<v Speaker 1>he wasn't going to complain about being scammed and cheated

<v Speaker 1>because they've done far worse to people in this company.

<v Speaker 1>But they said, you know, for being this big generational

<v Speaker 1>tag team match on Sunday, Cope and Cage had to

<v Speaker 1>beat them by cheating. Are you satisfied with how you

<v Speaker 1>did it? He demanded that they come out to the

<v Speaker 1>ring and answer if they were happy about how it

<v Speaker 1>all went down. They didn't get Cope and Christian. Instead,

<v Speaker 1>they got FTR. And they came out to the ring

<v Speaker 1>with Stokely Hathaway. And Stokely said, look, they had already

<v Speaker 1>blown it twice. And now they were out here begging

<v Speaker 1>for another title shot. So Dak said, daddy is home.

<v Speaker 1>My God. And now it was time to take a

<v Speaker 1>step back and watch them become four-time tag team champions.

<v Speaker 1>So Nick said, look, we both have beaten each other before.

<v Speaker 1>you know, they're not going to do the stipulation at

<v Speaker 1>Wembley because you don't have to. You're going to run

<v Speaker 1>it back at All Out. When you run it back

<v Speaker 1>at All Out, you add a stipulation. In this case,

<v Speaker 1>they added a stipulation and they added a team. So

<v Speaker 1>now FTR is going to be involved. And I wouldn't

<v Speaker 1>be shocked if Cope and Christian still walk out with

<v Speaker 1>the tag team titles. But if it's not them, it'll

<v Speaker 1>probably be the Bucks would be my guess. But this

<v Speaker 1>is a big attraction for them to add to the show.

<v Speaker 1>It's their TLC match. And you got three great teams.

<v Speaker 1>So you know you're going to get a fucking great

<v Speaker 1>match out of it. It was the obvious thing to do.

<v Speaker 1>You're going to add a stipulation. What other stipulation would

<v Speaker 1>you add? Realistically. Three teams in the match. You can

<v Speaker 1>do a cage match. Come on. This was only going

<v Speaker 1>to go one way. Lexi Nair. She was backstage with

<v Speaker 1>Will Ospreay in the United Empire. Callum Newman corrected her

<v Speaker 1>when she said that it was Ospreay's group. And Ospreay,

<v Speaker 1>like an older brother talking to little brother, actually did

<v Speaker 1>call him little brother and said, look, I started the group.

<v Speaker 1>I don't need your permission to add new members, so

<v Speaker 1>there's no heat. Okay, let's just move on. So Lexi asks,

<v Speaker 1>have you found a fifth man for your team tonight?

<v Speaker 1>Right now it's five on four. And Osprey says, no,

<v Speaker 1>we really haven't. And then Newman cuts him off and says, well,

<v Speaker 1>don't worry about it. I know a guy. Says he's

<v Speaker 1>been in the United Empire for a minute. Trust me.

<v Speaker 1>So then the door opens and out walks Andrade El Idolo.

<v Speaker 1>And he thanks Newman for inviting him. He shakes everybody's hand,

<v Speaker 1>including Ospreay's, and he congratulates him on his big Wembley win.

<v Speaker 1>And this seemed like a given, you know, after Andrade

<v Speaker 1>won the contract on Sunday, right? He is now in

<v Speaker 1>possession of the contract for a potential world championship match

<v Speaker 1>against Will Ospreay. So who else would it have been?

<v Speaker 1>The only other person, honestly, that it could have been

<v Speaker 1>was Jon Moxley. And they already had him scheduled for

<v Speaker 1>a match tonight. So the Andrade choice was pretty obvious,

<v Speaker 1>I thought. But I guess the bigger issue here is,

<v Speaker 1>and I guess they've kind of hinted at it sort

<v Speaker 1>of before, but the issues between Newman and Ospreay. Now Newman,

<v Speaker 1>I don't know how much we're going to see him

<v Speaker 1>in AEW. I mean, if I'm New Japan, I'm like,

<v Speaker 1>you know, you've taken enough from us. You're not taking

<v Speaker 1>Callum Newman away from us, too. I don't know that

<v Speaker 1>he's going to be around. The United Empire guys are

<v Speaker 1>probably not going to be around at all. Like, this

<v Speaker 1>was probably the last time we're going to see him

<v Speaker 1>for a while. That's why they're forming a new United Empire.

<v Speaker 1>But down the road, it's pretty clear Newman is going

<v Speaker 1>to fucking drop the hammer on Osprey, and we'll get

<v Speaker 1>that match far into the future. You know, you can

<v Speaker 1>only beat up a little brother so much before a

<v Speaker 1>little brother fights back. Big brother, it's always fun to

<v Speaker 1>just kind of beat up a little brother and, you know,

<v Speaker 1>pound him into the sand, but At some point, it

<v Speaker 1>comes back to bite you on the ass. And that's

<v Speaker 1>exactly what's going to happen here with Will Ospreay. Darby

<v Speaker 1>Allin and Mark Davis for the TNT Championship. Darby won

<v Speaker 1>the belt from Kevin Knight on Sunday. The new champion

<v Speaker 1>is skateboarding his way down the short ramp to the ring.

<v Speaker 1>And I was wondering, why is the champion entering first?

<v Speaker 1>He's skateboarding down the ramp, and then he gets out.

<v Speaker 1>pounced into oblivion by mark davis who was already at

<v Speaker 1>rings they came out of nowhere and blindsided him and

<v Speaker 1>just absolutely wiped this man out and i fucking laughed

<v Speaker 1>like the way that he just sent this man this

<v Speaker 1>man flying i was like that okay that was fucking

<v Speaker 1>great so don callas is on commentary and he's laughing

<v Speaker 1>and said that's what you get for bringing your toys

<v Speaker 1>to the ring Davis launched Darby over the barricade into

<v Speaker 1>the timekeeper's table. It went to commercial. The doctor was

<v Speaker 1>already checking on Darby. So on Sunday, Darby got the

<v Speaker 1>back of his head cut open in the first 60

<v Speaker 1>seconds of the match. And then here in the opening

<v Speaker 1>seconds of a match that hasn't even technically started yet,

<v Speaker 1>the doctor is already checking on him to see if

<v Speaker 1>he's okay. So basically, a typical Darby Allin match. They

<v Speaker 1>brawl into the crowd. Darby climbs up and over onto

<v Speaker 1>the ledge of one of the entrance tunnels and just

<v Speaker 1>falls backwards and dives off with a coffin drop onto Davis.

<v Speaker 1>So then he charged at Davis. Once they made their

<v Speaker 1>way back towards ringside, he tackled him over the barricade.

<v Speaker 1>And I think he hit him with his skateboard. And

<v Speaker 1>that didn't really do much to Davis, who took him

<v Speaker 1>down with a very violent clothesline. Only when they finally

<v Speaker 1>got back in the ring did the bell sound. So

<v Speaker 1>we weren't even underway until this moment right here. At

<v Speaker 1>this point, there was some horrific audio static. I thought

<v Speaker 1>there was some sort of alien invasion going on. And

<v Speaker 1>then we couldn't hear Don Callis. So basically, his headset

<v Speaker 1>blew out. And I could kind of hear him speaking,

<v Speaker 1>but he was not speaking into the headset or didn't

<v Speaker 1>realize that the headset was no longer working. And then

<v Speaker 1>Excalibur mentioned that we've lost Don Callis here. Eventually they

<v Speaker 1>fixed it, but yeah, that was kind of weird. And

<v Speaker 1>this was, I would say 95% Mark Davis. I mean,

<v Speaker 1>this was the typical Darby formula where he just gets

<v Speaker 1>beat up like a rag doll, takes all this abuse

<v Speaker 1>and all these bumps and periodically he'll make a comeback

<v Speaker 1>and then he'll just get cut back down again, and

<v Speaker 1>then in the end he makes the comeback and wins.

<v Speaker 1>This was your prototypical Darby Allin match. This is what

<v Speaker 1>every TNT title defense is going to be. That's what

<v Speaker 1>every world title defense was when he was the champion

<v Speaker 1>back in May. It's the same formula for every match.

<v Speaker 1>He did make the big comeback, two coffin drops it took,

<v Speaker 1>I believe it was two, and he got the pin

<v Speaker 1>and he retained the title. When the match was over,

<v Speaker 1>Trent Barretta and Rocky Romero RPG Vice. They hit the ring,

<v Speaker 1>put the boots to Darby. Here comes the son of Sting,

<v Speaker 1>Stephen Borden. We saw him on Sunday share that moment

<v Speaker 1>with Grandpa Sting at the top of the ladder, and

<v Speaker 1>he did the big dive off the ladder. So I

<v Speaker 1>was wondering if we were going to see him again,

<v Speaker 1>or if that was really just meant for that one moment.

<v Speaker 1>Because again, he hasn't been training for very long. Darby's

<v Speaker 1>been the one training him, by the way. And I

<v Speaker 1>don't even know officially how many matches he's had. He's

<v Speaker 1>had some dark matches and stuff. I would be surprised

<v Speaker 1>if he's even had half a dozen matches. But it

<v Speaker 1>looks like he's going to be a weekly recurring character

<v Speaker 1>on this television show. Because he came back here and

<v Speaker 1>he leapfrogged Rocky Romero when Romero came after him. He

<v Speaker 1>took both men down with great-looking dropkicks. I will give

<v Speaker 1>him credit. These high dropkicks that he hit These were

<v Speaker 1>beautiful drop kicks. So that looked good. So Davis got

<v Speaker 1>up on the apron and Borden was in the ring

<v Speaker 1>and he was telling me to come on in and

<v Speaker 1>Davis was teasing it, but he wasn't doing anything. It's

<v Speaker 1>all just a distraction. It's all a ploy because Josh

<v Speaker 1>Alexander returns. He ambushes Borden from behind and And again,

<v Speaker 1>nobody really reacted to this because I don't think they

<v Speaker 1>even knew who it was initially. It took me about

<v Speaker 1>two or three seconds to realize who it was. I

<v Speaker 1>saw the bald head and I'm like, who the fuck

<v Speaker 1>is that? And then I saw kind of like the

<v Speaker 1>beard or the five o'clock shadow. I'm like, oh, okay. Yeah,

<v Speaker 1>but nobody seemed to either know or care. But he starts,

<v Speaker 1>you know, stomping the crap out of Borden. Alexander then

<v Speaker 1>slapped an ankle lock on Darby and Davis spiked Sting Jr.

<v Speaker 1>with a pile driver. Uh, Alexander's been out since March

<v Speaker 1>with a knee injury. This could potentially set up a

<v Speaker 1>TNT championship match for All Out. I'm not sure that's

<v Speaker 1>the play here. I'm not so sure the play isn't

<v Speaker 1>to do a tag team match on the pay-per-view and

<v Speaker 1>promote it as the in-ring debut, the official debut for

<v Speaker 1>Stephen Borden, and do Sting Jr. and Darby against Alexander

<v Speaker 1>and Davis. Or maybe you flip it, and that's the

<v Speaker 1>TV match, and they do a title match on the pay-per-view.

<v Speaker 1>problem with AEW, I guess, is that they don't have

<v Speaker 1>their own training program. They have no developmental system to

<v Speaker 1>speak of. It's called the independence. And so he could

<v Speaker 1>go out and work indies, um, But beyond that, there's

<v Speaker 1>nothing else. Darby can train him in his backyard or whatever,

<v Speaker 1>but otherwise you just put him on TV. And as

<v Speaker 1>athletic as he is, he hasn't been doing this for

<v Speaker 1>very long. And there's a lot of other people who

<v Speaker 1>are probably looking at this going, okay, he stings son,

<v Speaker 1>and he's athletically gifted, and so he'll get television time

<v Speaker 1>and we're still warming up the bench over here. I

<v Speaker 1>grew up with thinking that they were on his level

<v Speaker 1>only to realize that Big Brew is the big draw,

<v Speaker 1>the biggest needle mover in AEW. To Ospreay and all

<v Speaker 1>of his fans, Payback is coming. Payback is a bitch.

<v Speaker 1>great TBS champion one day. And I think that's a

<v Speaker 1>place I'd like to see her working with people in

<v Speaker 1>that part of the division. And so the very next night,

<v Speaker 1>here we have Megan Bain in a singles match. But

<v Speaker 1>it's very clear we're not done yet with the tag

<v Speaker 1>team stuff. Both women ended up outside the ring here

<v Speaker 1>near the end. They charged at each other. They collided.

<v Speaker 1>same performer that he was five, ten years ago. Doesn't

<v Speaker 1>She said that she hadn't stopped smiling since Sunday. Mercedes

<v Speaker 1>that this was the only place that the women's revolution

<v Speaker 1>could be globalized. She bet on herself, and this is

<v Speaker 1>what happens when you stop asking for permission to be great.

<v Speaker 1>She said that she became 13 belts Monet and made

<v Speaker 1>history on her own terms and did something that nobody

<v Speaker 1>else has ever done. She won championship gold in four

<v Speaker 1>different major promotions. She said that she had to leave

<v Speaker 1>Willow Nightingale behind, though, in order to do it. She

<v Speaker 1>says she exposed her as a narcissistic bitch. She showed

<v Speaker 1>her face at this point, kind of lifted the hat

<v Speaker 1>the entire women's division was the kingdom of the CEO,

<v Speaker 1>called her an icon. She was saying this in a

<v Speaker 1>very sarcastic way. She says that Mercedes has all the

<v Speaker 1>titles and all the accolades, but she's never been toxic.

<v Speaker 1>She thanked her for what she did to Willow, though.

<v Speaker 1>She said that she deserved it. But she noticed that

<v Speaker 1>Mercedes was swinging that belt from between her legs on Sunday,

<v Speaker 1>which she was doing when she went to the ramp

<v Speaker 1>title like in front of her crotch, and she was

<v Speaker 1>kind of swinging it back and forth. And so she

<v Speaker 1>mentioned that. And she said that she reminded Mercedes that

<v Speaker 1>in tonight's random-ass match of the night, Jon Moxley defended

<v Speaker 1>his Continental Championship against A.R. Fox. Okay. Late in the match,

<v Speaker 1>a comeback and landed a 450 for a near fall.

<v Speaker 1>and forth, and the crowd was into it. He went

<v Speaker 1>on a little bit of an offensive run there. Offensive run,

<v Speaker 1>not that I was offended by it. Ospreay and Ricochet,

<v Speaker 1>they ended up in the ring together and the pace

<v Speaker 1>picked up even more. The match ended up breaking down.

<v Speaker 1>Newman turned Ricochet inside out with a lariat. Connors flew

<v Speaker 1>in with a spear to Callum Newman and he was

<v Speaker 1>going to go for one to Ospreay when Andrade cut

<v Speaker 1>him off. He came in and he caught him with

<v Speaker 1>the spinning back elbow and that allowed Ospreay to hit

<v Speaker 1>a hidden blade for the win. When the match was over,

<v Speaker 1>Ospreay and Andrade were all smiles. They're high-fiving each other.

<v Speaker 1>Andrade has that contract. He's got the clipboard with the

<v Speaker 1>contract in his hand. Not that he was threatening to

<v Speaker 1>use it because he can't, but just to remind you

<v Speaker 1>that he has it. And then they both got tripped

<v Speaker 1>up and dragged outside the ring. Big schmoz ensued here.

<v Speaker 1>Gabe Kidd launched Andrade over the announce desk and Excalibur

<v Speaker 1>got taken out. Tony Schiavone's like, Excalibur's down. Actually, Excalibur

<v Speaker 1>went shit right before he got hit. And so down

<v Speaker 1>he went. He took a bump. And Osprey tried to

<v Speaker 1>make the save here. He brought Kidd back in the ring.

<v Speaker 1>Kidd ended up giving him a low blow. So then

<v Speaker 1>he grabs a chair. He's going to use this chair

<v Speaker 1>on Osprey. Here come the Death Riders. Their music hits.

<v Speaker 1>They make their way through the crowd. The whole crew. Everybody. Moxley, Claudia,

<v Speaker 1>all of them. So Moxley gets in the ring. He

<v Speaker 1>takes the chair away from Gabe Kidd, who... I believe,

<v Speaker 1>is still an honorary member of the Death Riders. I

<v Speaker 1>do believe. And so he rips the chair away from him.

<v Speaker 1>And Kidd took the chair back. He was going to

<v Speaker 1>go for a shot on Osprey. And Moxley stood in

<v Speaker 1>the way. Wouldn't let him do it. So Andrade then

<v Speaker 1>got in the ring. He tackled Gabe Kidd to the floor.

<v Speaker 1>They brawled into the crowd. They're going to be wrestling

<v Speaker 1>for the national title on Collision. Moxley is now the

<v Speaker 1>last man in the ring... with Will Ospreay and he

<v Speaker 1>picks up the AEW world title and he ends up, uh,

<v Speaker 1>placing it on Will's shoulder. When he turns around, they

<v Speaker 1>were kind of teasing the idea that he might hit

<v Speaker 1>him with it. He puts the title over his shoulder

<v Speaker 1>and now the crowd is reacting to something. We can't

<v Speaker 1>see what it is. I think someone is about to

<v Speaker 1>hit the ring. Somebody, maybe somebody new. I don't know. No,

<v Speaker 1>what they were reacting to was on the big screen, uh,

<v Speaker 1>they put the graphic up for All Out, showing that

<v Speaker 1>the main event is now official. It will be Jon

<v Speaker 1>Moxley challenging Will Ospreay for the AEW World Championship. And

<v Speaker 1>not only was Ospreay shocked by this, Moxley was shocked.

<v Speaker 1>And so was I, just at the way that they

<v Speaker 1>did it. It was just so sudden. And Ospreay is

<v Speaker 1>just standing there, and Moxley slowly backs away, because he

<v Speaker 1>was kind of like his hand was on him in

<v Speaker 1>the belt, and he just backed off And he and

<v Speaker 1>the Death Riders left, and Will Ospreay was left alone

<v Speaker 1>in the ring at 25 past the hour. And I

<v Speaker 1>thought to myself, well, that is certainly one way to

<v Speaker 1>announce your main event for the pay-per-view. But we had

<v Speaker 1>to know this was going to be, you know, the

<v Speaker 1>path that they were going to take. It was going

<v Speaker 1>to be Moxley. And it's Jon Moxley. And so in

<v Speaker 1>the eyes of Tony Khan and AEW, there's no explanation needed.

<v Speaker 1>Former world champion, one of the biggest stars in the

<v Speaker 1>history of this company. from basically day one, and a

<v Speaker 1>man who has a lot of history with Will Ospreay,

<v Speaker 1>especially this year. If it didn't happen at All Out,

<v Speaker 1>it was going to be WrestleDream. If it wasn't WrestleDream,

<v Speaker 1>it was going to be Full Gear, but it was

<v Speaker 1>going to be one of those shows. It was always

<v Speaker 1>going to come back around to these two. All Out

<v Speaker 1>makes the most sense because now you can just get

<v Speaker 1>it out of the way. We all know how this

<v Speaker 1>is going to go. Unless MJF gets involved, right, and

<v Speaker 1>fucks it all up for Osprey. But the way it's

<v Speaker 1>going to go is Osprey has a loss on his

<v Speaker 1>record this year on pay-per-view to Jon Moxley that has

<v Speaker 1>gone unavenged. This is his chance now to right that

<v Speaker 1>wrong and get that win back. And put Moxley down.

<v Speaker 1>Because here's the thing. I was really hoping that Moxley

<v Speaker 1>would lose to Jay White in the Continental Cup. And

<v Speaker 1>that was really more out of me hoping that we

<v Speaker 1>would actually get an upset. We had no upsets in

<v Speaker 1>that tournament. I mean, they played it as straight as

<v Speaker 1>you can play a fucking straight arrow. Right down to

<v Speaker 1>the person who won. And I never should have doubted

<v Speaker 1>that it was just going to end up being Moxley.

<v Speaker 1>But I was kind of hoping that maybe it would

<v Speaker 1>be Jay White. Once that happened... In my mind, I'm like, well,

<v Speaker 1>maybe they'll give it to Nigel with the idea that, again,

<v Speaker 1>Moxley will end up in the gauntlet and he'll get

<v Speaker 1>his shot that way. But honestly, it was always going

<v Speaker 1>to be Moxley because the only person who, I think

<v Speaker 1>in their mind, and I'm not even saying they're wrong,

<v Speaker 1>the only person who should be beating Moxley for the

<v Speaker 1>first time all year, he's unbeaten, is Will Ospreay. It

<v Speaker 1>should be Ospreay. And I'll bet that's the calculus here, right?

<v Speaker 1>Protect Moxley at all costs, so that when the time

<v Speaker 1>comes that he loses, it'll mean more to the guy

<v Speaker 1>who has the belt, who just so happens to be

<v Speaker 1>Will Ospreay. So they'll do that at All Out, then

<v Speaker 1>we can move beyond this, and then we can come

<v Speaker 1>up with some new challenges for him to get in

<v Speaker 1>the ring with. Usually it's WrestleDream in October, we have

<v Speaker 1>Full Gear in November, we have World's End in December.

<v Speaker 1>And they can start lining up people for him to

<v Speaker 1>get in there and work with that are not named

<v Speaker 1>Jon Moxley. And we can get away from the Death

<v Speaker 1>Rider stuff. Maybe one of those people is MJF. Maybe
