<v Speaker 2>the greatest time of the year. Hey, we had a

<v Speaker 2>full slate of college football this past weekend. And I'll

<v Speaker 2>be honest, we saw some craziness already. Michigan needed the

<v Speaker 2>Big Ten to break a rule for them to pull

<v Speaker 2>off an improbable upset of Western Michigan on Saturday night.

<v Speaker 2>And you know, lost in that controversy is the fact

<v Speaker 2>that Michigan isn't very good right now. And Oklahoma is

<v Speaker 2>coming to town this next week. I think Michigan just

<v Speaker 2>might pay for their sins this weekend. Florida State tried

<v Speaker 2>to flip the breaker on their stadium power so they

<v Speaker 2>wouldn't have to play SMU.

<v Speaker 3>It didn't work.

<v Speaker 2>And by the way, stop talking about buying out head

<v Speaker 2>coach Mike Norvell, Seminole fan. You can't even pay the

<v Speaker 2>light bill. What are you going to pay for? LSU

<v Speaker 2>came out red hot. They smashed Clemson in the face.

<v Speaker 2>And I mean, Clemson, they are looking like a program

<v Speaker 2>from a bygone era. Remember when we started to see

<v Speaker 2>that with some older coaches? You started to see some

<v Speaker 2>of them slip. Yeah, it's looking like they might have

<v Speaker 2>to move on from Dabo Swinney very soon.

<v Speaker 2>And then we saw the Oregon Ducks had to hold

<v Speaker 2>we have, like I said, Oklahoma at Michigan.

<v Speaker 2>We've got Arizona at BYU. I want to keep an

<v Speaker 2>eye on that Big 12 matchup. We've got Iowa State

<v Speaker 2>at Iowa. A good rivalry game there. Oh, and then

<v Speaker 2>at Texas.

<v Speaker 1>I can't wait. Oh, but wait, we're not done. There's more.

<v Speaker 2>Because tonight, the 2026 NFL season kicks off with a

<v Speaker 2>Super Bowl 60 rematch as the New England Patriots face

<v Speaker 2>the Seattle Seahawks. Then tomorrow night, we have the San

<v Speaker 2>Francisco 49ers playing the Los Angeles Rams in Australia. And

<v Speaker 2>then we get a full slate of NFL games on Sunday,

<v Speaker 1>Were so horrible? I'll tee this up. Let's see. We'll

<v Speaker 1>go with Mike first. Mike, who's going to be your

<v Speaker 1>worst team in the NFL this year?

<v Speaker 4>Boy, I got a coin toss between Miami and Arizona.

<v Speaker 4>That's tough. I'll give the nod to Miami. I think

<v Speaker 4>it's just such a mess down there.

<v Speaker 1>Okay, yeah, Dolphins could definitely be there.

<v Speaker 2>Rob, got a worse team that you're looking at probably

<v Speaker 2>going to get that top pick in the draft?

<v Speaker 3>Same for me. I got them both, Dolphins and the Cardinals,

<v Speaker 3>both 3-14. So we'll say because of tiebreakers, give me

<v Speaker 3>the Dolphins being the worst.

<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I hate to do that, Miami.

<v Speaker 2>We have some listeners that actually are Miami fans, but

<v Speaker 2>I just don't know what they have. When I look

<v Speaker 2>at the Cardinals, they're horrible, but you can see a

<v Speaker 2>spot here and there where you're like, oh, they've got.

<v Speaker 1>A decent player here.

<v Speaker 2>Got a really good tight end. I don't know what

<v Speaker 2>that does for you. Larry, who do you see as

<v Speaker 2>having the worst record in the entire league this year?

<v Speaker 5>Worst record. It's hard to argue with those two choices,

<v Speaker 5>but I think I'll throw the Raiders in there. And

<v Speaker 5>not from a worse team, because I don't think they're

<v Speaker 5>the worst team, but just based on schedule and the

<v Speaker 5>newness of it all, they're going to compete for maybe

<v Speaker 5>the worst record.

<v Speaker 2>Well, they're definitely going to have a tough division to

<v Speaker 2>play in. That division is really, really stacked aside from them. Yeah,

<v Speaker 2>that's not a bad pick. I feel bad throwing Miami

<v Speaker 2>in there. I don't know who else I could.

<v Speaker 1>Put in there.

<v Speaker 2>Cleveland wants to lose, so I'll throw the Browns out

<v Speaker 2>there as maybe just pure determination. If they stay focused,

<v Speaker 2>they can do it. But man, I look at Miami.

<v Speaker 2>I don't think they're going to win a game against.

<v Speaker 2>I literally don't know how they're going to get a win.

<v Speaker 2>It will not be easy. All right, let's go ahead

<v Speaker 2>and jump back into our divisional preview, and let's start

<v Speaker 2>this week with the AFC South. Last year, this division

<v Speaker 2>produced two playoff teams, which is kind of weird when

<v Speaker 2>you think about that, but it did.

<v Speaker 1>The Jacksonville Jaguars actually.

<v Speaker 2>Had things go right, they won the division with an

<v Speaker 2>impressive 13-4 record. They lost in the wildcard round. And

<v Speaker 2>then the Houston Texans went 12-5. They won a wildcard

<v Speaker 2>game but lost in the divisional round. The Indianapolis Colts

<v Speaker 2>started off red hot, collapsed down the stretch and went 8-9.

<v Speaker 2>And the Tennessee Titans are rebuilding. They finished with a

<v Speaker 2>3-14 record. Rob, we're going to start off with you

<v Speaker 2>this week. How is that AFC South going to finish.

<v Speaker 1>Up this season?

<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I've got Texans. This is going to be my

<v Speaker 3>division winner. Somehow, as good as that defense was, I

<v Speaker 3>think it might even be better this year. I think

<v Speaker 3>they get help with the running game. David Montgomery's there,

<v Speaker 3>and C.J. Stroud figures it out. Terrible playoffs last year,

<v Speaker 3>but I think he figures it out. Finishing second, but

<v Speaker 3>missing the playoffs, I got Jacksonville. I think Cohen was

<v Speaker 3>the right hire, good coach. A little worried about their

<v Speaker 3>running game, and again, last season just kind of felt

<v Speaker 3>like everything came together, so I see them taking a

<v Speaker 3>step back. Third place Colts, same kind of situation. I

<v Speaker 3>know they had the hot start, but I don't think

<v Speaker 3>they pick up where they left off. And then coming

<v Speaker 3>in last, the Titans probably got the right coach and

<v Speaker 3>staff in place, but they're going to need some time there.

<v Speaker 3>So just the Texans winning the division. That's my only

<v Speaker 3>playoff team from this division.

<v Speaker 2>Okay, let's go next to Larry. Larry, how do you

<v Speaker 2>see the AFC South shaping up?

<v Speaker 5>A lot of good points from Rob there. I've got

<v Speaker 5>the Jaguars, though, kind of repeating. It's getting a little

<v Speaker 5>bit better. I know things went pretty well for them

<v Speaker 5>last year, and I'm just going to stick with it.

<v Speaker 5>I think they're developing into a consistent team. I'll be honest.

<v Speaker 5>I'm not worried about Straub, but that's a tough one

<v Speaker 5>to call. I've got them second. I think Jaguars and

<v Speaker 5>Texans will be competing for the top spot. Jaguars get it.

<v Speaker 5>Texans come in. and get a wild card spot. Yeah,

<v Speaker 5>I've got, I think the Titans got better by releasing

<v Speaker 5>Will Levis, right?

<v Speaker 1>Yeah, sure. Yes, yes.

<v Speaker 5>They got better just by doing that. And then the

<v Speaker 5>Colts were kind of middle of the pack there.

<v Speaker 3>Okay.

<v Speaker 5>So I've got Jaguars.

<v Speaker 1>Texans, Colts, and the Titans are last. Okay.

<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I think the Titans are at least on the

<v Speaker 2>right path. They just have so much ground to make up. Mike,

<v Speaker 2>how do you see this AFC South going?

<v Speaker 4>Yeah, actually, same as last year and same as Larry.

<v Speaker 4>I've got Jacksonville. I think they laid a good foundation

<v Speaker 4>last year. I think they're going to continue the momentum. Lawrence,

<v Speaker 4>I think, has found a good coach finally, you know,

<v Speaker 4>uh he had a really good year yeah he got

<v Speaker 4>good receivers texans i've got him as a wild card

<v Speaker 4>i've got him as the last wild card it's hard

<v Speaker 4>to deny that defense even with cj stroud being iffy

<v Speaker 4>we don't know what's going to go on there i

<v Speaker 4>think it'll be a pretty close race between those two

<v Speaker 4>but i got jacksonville edging them out colts maybe around

<v Speaker 4>500 and and you know tennessee again improving a little

<v Speaker 4>bit maybe but you like you know we're all saying

<v Speaker 4>they're they got a little ways.

<v Speaker 1>To go Yeah, they do.

<v Speaker 2>They've got a lot of ground to make up. I'm

<v Speaker 2>going to go Houston Texans on top. They should be

<v Speaker 2>among the best in the league, like everyone mentioned, because

<v Speaker 2>of that defense. That defense is so good, and they

<v Speaker 2>could actually be better this year. Offensive line's got to

<v Speaker 2>be better. Like Rob talked about, they've got to run

<v Speaker 2>the ball more effectively and take the pressures off of C.J.

<v Speaker 1>Stroud, because I don't have much faith in C.J. Stroud.

<v Speaker 2>But if you didn't put it all on him, he

<v Speaker 2>probably wouldn't look as bad as he did, especially when

<v Speaker 2>he walked to class over the summer.

<v Speaker 3>Wow.

<v Speaker 1>If you haven't seen that clip. Second off.

<v Speaker 2>I'm going to do something stupid. I'm going to go

<v Speaker 2>Indy at number two. They've got a ton of pressure

<v Speaker 2>on them. Daniel Jones, you better step up. Shane Steichen,

<v Speaker 2>you better step up. This team collapsed last year. They

<v Speaker 2>have a defense that gets pressure, but they don't get sacks,

<v Speaker 2>which is a concern. Jonathan Taylor is a really, really

<v Speaker 2>good running back. Can they win some games late because

<v Speaker 2>they collapsed late every single time? I'm going to say

<v Speaker 2>the Jaguars are a bit of a fluke. That secondary

<v Speaker 2>is soft and they have so many turnovers that were

<v Speaker 2>handed to them. That's always a concern to me. Plus,

<v Speaker 2>I don't know how much I believe in Trevor. I

<v Speaker 2>want to believe in Trevor, but I think after his

<v Speaker 2>first read, he's not very good. I think they take

<v Speaker 2>a bit of a step back and then, like everybody mentioned,

<v Speaker 2>the Titans, they just have so much work to do.

<v Speaker 2>Offensive line isn't good. Defense isn't very good. Rookie wide

<v Speaker 2>receiver Cardinal Tate should help a little bit because I

<v Speaker 2>don't know that Cam Ward had much to throw to,

<v Speaker 2>but I'm going to say this. The Titans are now

<v Speaker 2>back to having some of the best uniforms in the

<v Speaker 2>NFL because they got rid of that crappy color scheme

<v Speaker 2>and went back to the.

<v Speaker 1>Old love you blue colors, which I do like. I'll

<v Speaker 1>give him credit for that.

<v Speaker 2>Let's next go to the dumpster fire that is the

<v Speaker 2>NFC South. Here is your crazy stat of the day

<v Speaker 2>about this awful division. The Carolina Panthers have never had

<v Speaker 2>back-to-back winning seasons in franchise history. Despite that, they have

<v Speaker 2>won three consecutive NFC South division titles from 2013 to 2015.

<v Speaker 1>I know that's older. That's unreal.

<v Speaker 2>Teams get in from this division purely based on geography,

<v Speaker 2>which makes no sense to me. This is another division

<v Speaker 2>I went back and forth on. I'm not exactly sure

<v Speaker 2>how to pick this. Okay, the Carolina Panthers actually won

<v Speaker 2>this division last year. By default, they went 8-9. The

<v Speaker 2>Tampa Bay Buccaneers started fast, faded hard. The Atlanta Falcons

<v Speaker 2>were so inconsistent, they couldn't finish. You guessed it, they

<v Speaker 2>also went 8-9. And then we had the New Orleans Saints,

<v Speaker 2>who went a division where 6-11.

<v Speaker 1>Larry, how is this division going to go? Because I

<v Speaker 1>don't know if we want to watch any of it.

<v Speaker 2>Do we?

<v Speaker 5>No, we don't. And I don't know how it's going

<v Speaker 5>to go. I'm going to say that the Buccaneers are

<v Speaker 5>going to win the division.

<v Speaker 3>Okay.

<v Speaker 5>I can't tell you why.

<v Speaker 1>I understand.

<v Speaker 5>But they will. And the rest of them, I don't

<v Speaker 5>know how they'll play out, honestly.

<v Speaker 1>Tampa on top is all you've got. Tampa on top.

<v Speaker 5>That's all I've got.

<v Speaker 1>I completely understand. Mike, lay out the NFC South. How's

<v Speaker 1>this going to go?

<v Speaker 3>Uh, ditto.

<v Speaker 4>I mean, same thing. I think Tampa may win at

<v Speaker 4>nine and eight, maybe, maybe 10 and seven. And then,

<v Speaker 4>and then, you know, the, the dregs of the rest

<v Speaker 4>of them, you know, Carolina may have the same record

<v Speaker 4>as last year and missed the playoffs. Right.

<v Speaker 3>Yeah.

<v Speaker 4>The saints. I I'm, I'm a little curious to watch Chuck,

<v Speaker 4>you know, uh, he was kind of an exciting player

<v Speaker 4>last year. Um, the Falcons, uh, uh, God, are wasting

<v Speaker 4>the first or second best running back in the league

<v Speaker 4>right now? That's an ugly one as well. So, yeah,

<v Speaker 4>Bucs win the division. Same thing as it's been for

<v Speaker 4>the last 15 years. They win because they're in the

<v Speaker 4>playoffs because they were the best in the division.

<v Speaker 1>Someone had to. Someone had to win the division. All right, Rob,

<v Speaker 1>you got anything different? How do you see the NFC South?

<v Speaker 3>Yeah, got a little crazy here. Where's the first? Give

<v Speaker 3>me Saints winning the division at 9-8. at nine and eight. Perfect.

<v Speaker 3>So that's your division winner. Bucks and Falcons, both eight

<v Speaker 3>and nine. Like I said, Bucks, I'm a little worried

<v Speaker 3>that it might, you know, Todd Bowles, this could be

<v Speaker 3>it for him. Could be. And I wish, if the

<v Speaker 3>Falcons had a quarterback, this is who I wanted to

<v Speaker 3>pick going in.

<v Speaker 2>Right.

<v Speaker 3>The quarterback there is just, you know, either if it

<v Speaker 3>ends up being Pennix or Tua, that's a problem. And

<v Speaker 3>then Panthers, I got finished in fourth here. So just

<v Speaker 3>the Saints winning the division at nine and eight.

<v Speaker 2>That's really funny because I have got the New Orleans

<v Speaker 2>Saints winning the division because I trust Tyler Shuck more

<v Speaker 2>than I do any other quarterback in this division.

<v Speaker 1>I mean, Travis Etienne comes in. He can at least help.

<v Speaker 1>Could they be better?

<v Speaker 2>They've got one of the worst schedules in the league,

<v Speaker 2>so maybe New Orleans is going to do something.

<v Speaker 3>I've got them winning it.

<v Speaker 2>I've got Carolina at second just because the defense played

<v Speaker 2>pretty well and at least gave some hope.

<v Speaker 1>But the schedule is going to be tougher, and I

<v Speaker 1>don't know that they're ready for that. Tampa Bay, they're

<v Speaker 1>just so injured all the time.

<v Speaker 2>And the problem, and Larry pointed this out last year,

<v Speaker 2>Baker Mayfield is never healthy. Well, now they lost wide

<v Speaker 2>receiver Mike Evans. So he's not there.

<v Speaker 1>So their most experienced receiver is Chris Godwin. Name the

<v Speaker 1>last time he was healthy.

<v Speaker 3>Never.

<v Speaker 1>Special teams are horrible.

<v Speaker 2>I don't trust the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at all. And

<v Speaker 2>then we get to Atlanta, who I have at four.

<v Speaker 2>And if you gave me, like Rob.

<v Speaker 1>Said, a quarterback.

<v Speaker 2>I would say Atlanta could win this division and do

<v Speaker 2>something in the playoffs. Tua or Penix, I consider putting

<v Speaker 2>them on the team with the worst record in the entire.

<v Speaker 1>League just for that reason, if not for Bajon Robinson.

<v Speaker 1>Other than that, they can't stop the run.

<v Speaker 2>They can't protect a quarterback, and it's going to be

<v Speaker 2>a bad left-handed quarterback that they're going to be trying

<v Speaker 2>to protect.

<v Speaker 1>I don't like the Falcons. I'm with Rob.

<v Speaker 2>I'm saying Saints win this disaster. This is a horrible division,

<v Speaker 2>and they need to just drop it. like the old

<v Speaker 2>whack or something. Just get rid of it. It's enough already.

<v Speaker 2>All right. Our last AFC division is, of course, the

<v Speaker 2>AFC West, which is near and dear to, well, three

<v Speaker 2>of our hearts.

<v Speaker 1>Last season, the Denver Broncos won the.

<v Speaker 2>Division with a 14-3 record. They won a playoff game

<v Speaker 2>and then lost in the AFC Championship to New England.

<v Speaker 2>The Los Angeles Chargers also made the postseason. They had

<v Speaker 2>an 11-6 record but lost their only playoff game The

<v Speaker 2>Kansas City Chiefs struggled with injuries.

<v Speaker 1>They finished third. They went 6-11.

<v Speaker 2>And the Las Vegas Raiders finished up in last place

<v Speaker 2>with 3-14 as their record.

<v Speaker 1>Mike, how is the AFC West going to go this year?

<v Speaker 4>Well, I have the Los Angeles Chargers taking the division

<v Speaker 4>this year. The record that they had last year with

<v Speaker 4>the amount of injuries that they had was actually a

<v Speaker 4>pretty solid year, right? If that offensive line can stay together,

<v Speaker 4>you've got a good new offensive coordinator. They've got a

<v Speaker 4>lot of talent on the offense. Did lose the defensive coordinator,

<v Speaker 4>but we'll see how much difference that makes. I've got

<v Speaker 4>the Chargers winning the division. Broncos, I think the Broncos

<v Speaker 4>recede a little bit. Was it something like 8-1 or
