<v Speaker 1>What is going on, guys? It is another Friday night.
<v Speaker 1>I am the Solid Monster. Thank you so much for
<v Speaker 1>being with me for another SmackDown review. WWE is currently
<v Speaker 1>on tour in Mexico. And not just Mexico. They're actually
<v Speaker 1>on tour in a few different places. I'll have more
<v Speaker 1>news on that here in a moment. But their tour
<v Speaker 1>of Mexico in particular is underway. And this was their
<v Speaker 1>first television in Mexico City in 15 years. And you
<v Speaker 1>could tell from just how amped up these fans were.
<v Speaker 1>They were very excited about... to get a televised event
<v Speaker 1>back in Mexico. Night one, by the way, of TripleMania
<v Speaker 1>is currently underway as we speak. Night two will be
<v Speaker 1>taking place on Sunday, but night one is currently streaming
<v Speaker 1>on YouTube, although this is the only stream on YouTube
<v Speaker 1>you need to worry about right now, especially in light
<v Speaker 1>of what we saw at the end of SmackDown, because
<v Speaker 1>this turned out to be a much more newsworthy show
<v Speaker 1>than I imagined. Sami Zayn came into the show as
<v Speaker 1>the challenger, going after CM Punk and the WWE Championship
<v Speaker 1>in the main event, And Sami Zayn, after his nine
<v Speaker 1>days as champion a few months ago, is once again
<v Speaker 1>the WWE champion. He promised that nobody else would have
<v Speaker 1>theirs until he got his. And he made that a
<v Speaker 1>reality tonight. The match itself, they had a good match
<v Speaker 1>that was, of course, marked by the brigade of interference
<v Speaker 1>that many of these matches have been marked by recently
<v Speaker 1>because everybody wants the WWE title. They want next in line,
<v Speaker 1>or they want to get revenge on Sammy for sticking
<v Speaker 1>his nose in their business. Everybody has their reasons for
<v Speaker 1>getting involved. And so we had Johnny Gargano and Candice
<v Speaker 1>LeRae show up during the match because Johnny had tried
<v Speaker 1>to get Sammy to commit earlier in the night to
<v Speaker 1>giving him the first crack at the championship should he
<v Speaker 1>regain the belt. Sammy was noncommittal. But I guess Gargano
<v Speaker 1>thought that, hey, I have a commitment here, so I
<v Speaker 1>got to make sure this guy wins the belt. And
<v Speaker 1>that didn't work out too well. Kevin Owens showed up
<v Speaker 1>as well. Kevin Owens tried to make sure that Sami
<v Speaker 1>could not cheat. He took the belt away from him.
<v Speaker 1>Referee was distracted. And in the end, it was CM
<v Speaker 1>Punk who got blasted in the head accidentally with the
<v Speaker 1>WWE title. Sami Zayn was able to take advantage of this.
<v Speaker 1>And he is once again the champion. Sami is now
<v Speaker 1>not only a two-time champion, but both of those title
<v Speaker 1>wins come outside the United States. So the first one
<v Speaker 1>was in Riyadh. The second one was in Mexico City.
<v Speaker 1>He just... Hey, look, he found luck outside of these borders.
<v Speaker 1>What can I say? But he is champion again. I
<v Speaker 1>do like that we have had a number of WWE
<v Speaker 1>title changes on television this year. They don't just need
<v Speaker 1>to be reserved to PLEs. It's okay to do not
<v Speaker 1>only a championship match on television... Because there was a
<v Speaker 1>period of time where I felt like there really weren't
<v Speaker 1>that many of them. And I'm not saying you should
<v Speaker 1>overdo them either. But this year alone, we've had a
<v Speaker 1>whole bunch of them on television. And that's okay. And
<v Speaker 1>doing a title change on television is okay. Not everything
<v Speaker 1>has to be saved for some big, you know, special occasion.
<v Speaker 1>In fact, four of the five WWE championship matches that
<v Speaker 1>we've had this year have taken place on Raw or SmackDown.
<v Speaker 1>And it started all the way back at the beginning
<v Speaker 1>of the year with Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes. Remember,
<v Speaker 1>they traded the belt back and forth over a period
<v Speaker 1>of a couple of months. And CM Punk, when he
<v Speaker 1>won the belt from Sami, that was on Raw back
<v Speaker 1>in July. And so now we have this title change here.
<v Speaker 1>What it also means is that as of this moment,
<v Speaker 1>Sami Zayn will be the one walking into Riyadh again.
<v Speaker 1>I believe it's in Riyadh. Crown Jewel's coming up in November.
<v Speaker 1>And he will be the one walking in as the
<v Speaker 1>WWE champion, not CM Punk, which means as of this moment,
<v Speaker 1>unless Penta shocks the world on Monday, which, look, I
<v Speaker 1>can't rule out the possibility. But I'm going to say
<v Speaker 1>it's not going to happen. But right now it would
<v Speaker 1>be Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn one-on-one. Roman Reigns and
<v Speaker 1>the Honorary Usa, obviously they have history together. That would
<v Speaker 1>be the crown jewel match if things were to stay
<v Speaker 1>the way they are. I just never felt like we
<v Speaker 1>were going to get Roman and Punk again. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know that that's a match they want to go back to.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know that that's something they want to run
<v Speaker 1>back to do what? Just so Punk can get his
<v Speaker 1>win back? I figured one of these titles is probably
<v Speaker 1>changing hands before then, and the likelier of the two
<v Speaker 1>would be the WWE title. I just didn't know it
<v Speaker 1>was going back to Sami Zayn tonight. So that was
<v Speaker 1>a nice surprise. And this thought also crossed my mind
<v Speaker 1>as I was watching the end of this show. Is
<v Speaker 1>this merely a way? Because I know a lot of
<v Speaker 1>people are also going to look at this and go, man,
<v Speaker 1>I hope Sammy gets more than nine days, right? And
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure he will. He's going to hold it for
<v Speaker 1>longer than nine days. However, we do have a show
<v Speaker 1>coming up in a few weeks called Worlds Collide, which
<v Speaker 1>is in Chicago. The only, to my knowledge, main roster
<v Speaker 1>star who's been announced for that show is CM Punk.
<v Speaker 1>Is this just the way? to set up a rematch, again,
<v Speaker 1>between CM Punk and Sami Zayn for Worlds Collide in
<v Speaker 1>Chicago at the Allstate Arena and have Punk win back
<v Speaker 1>the WWE Championship in his hometown. I think there's a
<v Speaker 1>very good possibility that that will happen. Now, if nothing else,
<v Speaker 1>even if he doesn't win the belt back, I think
<v Speaker 1>that there's a very good chance that's going to be
<v Speaker 1>the match on that show, that they will want to
<v Speaker 1>do that match on that show, because they're going to
<v Speaker 1>want to load that show up that night for various reasons.
<v Speaker 1>And so I wouldn't get too comfortable. If you're a
<v Speaker 1>Sami Zayn fan or you're hoping that he's going to
<v Speaker 1>have a few months to enjoy his reign, I hope
<v Speaker 1>he does. I hope he does. But that Worlds Collide show, man,
<v Speaker 1>that's sticking out to me. In Chicago with Punk being there,
<v Speaker 1>what else would he be doing? What's he going to do?
<v Speaker 1>He's going to wrestle some random AAA star on that show? Why?
<v Speaker 1>For what purpose? He's going to want his belt back.
<v Speaker 1>And he has a great claim to it, too, because
<v Speaker 1>he got fucked over in the match tonight. So he
<v Speaker 1>should get a rematch. But it's a very chaotic scene
<v Speaker 1>right now at the top of the car when it
<v Speaker 1>comes to the WWE Championship. Very messy, but in a
<v Speaker 1>good way. I like it. So what? It's messy. Good.
<v Speaker 1>We need messy. These shows have been so safe for
<v Speaker 1>so long. And believe me, there was a period of
<v Speaker 1>time where there was not nearly this much competition at
<v Speaker 1>the top of the card because they just didn't have
<v Speaker 1>a whole ton of big names. People were injured or
<v Speaker 1>for whatever reason they were away. But now you got
<v Speaker 1>Sami Zayn. You got CM Punk. You got Kevin Owens.
<v Speaker 1>You got Finn Balor. You got Gunther. Fucking Johnny Gargano
<v Speaker 1>wants a shot at the WWE title, which he already got,
<v Speaker 1>by the way. He wants another one now. And everything
<v Speaker 1>is focused around that. And that's the way it should be, man.
<v Speaker 1>That championship should be the most important thing on the show.
<v Speaker 1>And on SmackDown, it is. So I like it. I
<v Speaker 1>like what's going on right now around that belt. And
<v Speaker 1>we'll get into what happened in the main event when
<v Speaker 1>we talk more about it a little bit later on.
<v Speaker 1>The other thing we had tonight, we actually had a
<v Speaker 1>few championship matches. There were three other championship matches on
<v Speaker 1>this show, like Night of Champions here. One of them
<v Speaker 1>was for the AAA Tag Team titles, which, who gives
<v Speaker 1>a shit? But it served a greater purpose, which was
<v Speaker 1>Damian Priest and R-Truth. They have been together for a
<v Speaker 1>while now, many, many months. And, yeah, they were together
<v Speaker 1>in the Judgment Day, and the way they play off
<v Speaker 1>each other, you know, kind of humorous, and people love truth,
<v Speaker 1>and that's all well and good. But this has been
<v Speaker 1>going on now for far too long. And Damian Priest,
<v Speaker 1>ever since they moved him to SmackDown, and we're talking months,
<v Speaker 1>we're talking years now, he has not been able to
<v Speaker 1>get back to the level that he was at on
<v Speaker 1>Monday Night Raw, where, especially when he broke away from
<v Speaker 1>the Judgment Day... he felt like he was really about
<v Speaker 1>to break out as a main event performer. Like him
<v Speaker 1>and Rhea Ripley both. When they left the Judgment Day
<v Speaker 1>and they were still on Raw, man, they were super
<v Speaker 1>fucking over. And then he got moved to SmackDown, which
<v Speaker 1>I thought would be a good thing for him because
<v Speaker 1>finally you get him away from the Judgment Day vortex
<v Speaker 1>and let him just do his own thing, right? And
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown could use someone like him, a fresh face on
<v Speaker 1>the show, and let's see how high he can ascend.
<v Speaker 1>And it just hasn't worked out. Now, I'm not saying
<v Speaker 1>that he's... Not over to where nobody cares about him,
<v Speaker 1>but he's not over in the way that I thought
<v Speaker 1>he would be. And he really hasn't been utilized that
<v Speaker 1>way either. He's been kind of a dud on SmackDown.
<v Speaker 1>And him as a babyface, stuck in this tag team
<v Speaker 1>purgatory here for this long, was on a road to nowhere.
<v Speaker 1>So when they lost the belt, it's like, all right, finally,
<v Speaker 1>we can move him away from this. And let's see,
<v Speaker 1>maybe he can branch out into the U.S. title picture
<v Speaker 1>or something. But I said a heel turn, I think,
<v Speaker 1>is exactly what this guy needs. could really benefit from,
<v Speaker 1>especially with a babyface champion on top, which went out
<v Speaker 1>the fucking window tonight. But be that as it may,
<v Speaker 1>a heel turn, I think, is exactly what he could
<v Speaker 1>benefit from. And they kind of teased it a couple
<v Speaker 1>of weeks ago, and they pulled back. And when they
<v Speaker 1>announced this match for Mexico City, I was kind of
<v Speaker 1>hoping that they were just saving it for this show.
<v Speaker 1>And that's exactly what they did. When they failed again
<v Speaker 1>tonight to regain the belt, thankfully, he finally dropped the
<v Speaker 1>hammer and turned on R-Troop. and got booed out of
<v Speaker 1>the building. And this is the best possible thing I
<v Speaker 1>think that could happen to Damian Priest. Now, you could
<v Speaker 1>still insert him into the U.S. title picture before long,
<v Speaker 1>because Trick Williams is the champion again, and unfortunately, he's still...
<v Speaker 1>The feud with Baron Corbin must continue, but once you
<v Speaker 1>get beyond that, he's going to need challengers. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know where the fuck Carmelo Hayes disappeared to. Damian Priest
<v Speaker 1>would be a pretty good one. So, I'm happy that
<v Speaker 1>they finally pulled the trigger on that. Those were the
<v Speaker 1>only two things of any real significance. On this show,
<v Speaker 1>outside of the lively crowd, they helped elevate things as
<v Speaker 1>best they could. A couple of women's matches that were
<v Speaker 1>really nothing to write home about. No Money in the
<v Speaker 1>Bank qualifying matches either. They started on Raw this past Monday.
<v Speaker 1>I figured we would have a couple more tonight. We
<v Speaker 1>had none. They are saving them for Texas when they're
<v Speaker 1>back stateside next week for SmackDown. So we're going to
<v Speaker 1>have to wait until then. Actually, we're going to have
<v Speaker 1>to wait until Monday because we're going to have two
<v Speaker 1>more this coming Monday. We'll talk about the whole thing
<v Speaker 1>here from start to finish. This is your Friday Night
<v Speaker 1>Smackdown review. It is September 11th, 2026. I am the
<v Speaker 1>Solid Monster. Yeah, we're seeing a lot of people on
<v Speaker 1>social media saying things today on the anniversary like, you know,
<v Speaker 1>we have not forgotten. You know, because today is the
<v Speaker 1>25-year anniversary of the 9-11 terror attacks. And It's not
<v Speaker 1>lost on me that there are a lot of people
<v Speaker 1>who listen to the podcast or watch these streams who
<v Speaker 1>were not alive. They were not even breathing. They were
<v Speaker 1>not on this earth when 9-11 happened. But many of
<v Speaker 1>you were. And I know that many of you have
<v Speaker 1>not forgotten. As someone who lives in New York, I
<v Speaker 1>have not forgotten. And they did a nice video tribute
<v Speaker 1>to it on the show tonight. But... It's pretty crazy.
<v Speaker 1>You know, a lot of times when time passes, whether
<v Speaker 1>it's wrestling or, again, it could be like a world event,
<v Speaker 1>whatever it may be, 20 years go by, 25 years,
<v Speaker 1>30 years, and you look back and go, holy fucking shit. Like,
<v Speaker 1>where did the time go? It is kind of crazy
<v Speaker 1>to think. It's a weird thing because I kind of
<v Speaker 1>look back at it as you had one world pre-9-11
<v Speaker 1>and then post-9-11 was just a totally different world. And
<v Speaker 1>not for the better. It was a... It was definitely
<v Speaker 1>a day that if you were around for, you will
<v Speaker 1>not forget where you were and what you were doing
<v Speaker 1>that day. Like and subscribe. I'm going to bring up
<v Speaker 1>the wheel here so we can find out how many
<v Speaker 1>likes we will need to do Be The Booker a
<v Speaker 1>little bit later on. Thank you, by the way, for
<v Speaker 1>all the messages and Super Chess that have come in
<v Speaker 1>so far. I will be reading them later on, and
<v Speaker 1>you will see them popping up on your screen as well. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>people in the chat say it will not be forgotten,
<v Speaker 1>but I'll tell you, man, it kind of feels sometimes
<v Speaker 1>like it is. But look, again, I guess part of
<v Speaker 1>it is just the passage of time and the fact
<v Speaker 1>that there are a lot of people who didn't experience
<v Speaker 1>it or didn't know anybody who was affected by the
<v Speaker 1>events of that day. It's just crazy to think that
<v Speaker 1>25 years have already gone by. 390. That's the likes
<v Speaker 1>goal for tonight. Very manageable goal. 390 likes. Hey, Dak.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you for the five. Am I going to be
<v Speaker 1>live for TripleMania? I will not. I will be talking about... Well,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I'll talk about night one of TripleMania on
<v Speaker 1>the podcast on Sunday. Once I have a chance to
<v Speaker 1>go back and watch what it is that I want
<v Speaker 1>to watch from the show. Obviously, it's happening right now.
<v Speaker 1>I'm a little bit busy. For night two... I will
<v Speaker 1>probably just talk about it on the Uncrowned Wrestling Show
<v Speaker 1>on Tuesday. But I will not be live for that.
<v Speaker 1>Let's take it from the top. Randy Orton coming off
<v Speaker 1>a win over Cody Rhodes last Sunday at Sunday night's
<v Speaker 1>main event. He was out first to open up the show. Very,
<v Speaker 1>very happy crowd to see this man. Fresh goes better
<v Speaker 1>with man to fresh. Fresh goes better with man to fresh. Mentos,
<v Speaker 1>the fresh maker. Nothing like a little bit of Mentos
<v Speaker 1>here at the beginning of the stream to lift your spirits.
<v Speaker 1>James Crawford is also coming in twice. Look at this guy.
<v Speaker 1>Holy shit. I just want you to know, I think
<v Speaker 1>you rock. I don't mean the rock, a rock. You rock.
<v Speaker 1>And I just wanted you to know that. James Crawford says,
<v Speaker 1>you will remember my name. Back-to-back superchats, 130 drop from James.
<v Speaker 1>Time for an ad break. Yeah, hey, look, the Mentos
<v Speaker 1>ad breaks, those are acceptable. And he wants to ask
<v Speaker 1>this question. I'm going to mention this here because he
<v Speaker 1>dropped a bomb. What if Penta does win the title
<v Speaker 1>on Monday because of family personal business getting involved in
<v Speaker 1>Roman's business and he now has to go to war games?
<v Speaker 1>Or go to, not war game, go to war with Oakland.
<v Speaker 1>Is that what we're just kind of default, like, calling
<v Speaker 1>this group? I mean, they're 9-4-6, but I hear a
<v Speaker 1>lot of people talking about, like, Oakland, the Oakland crew.
<v Speaker 1>Poor Lucian Price, I mean, he's from fucking Maryland. I
<v Speaker 1>guess they can kind of bring him into the Oakland crew. Look,
<v Speaker 1>that's why I said before, do I think that Penta
<v Speaker 1>is winning the championship on Monday? I do not. I
<v Speaker 1>think we're going to get one fucking great dramatic near fall.
<v Speaker 1>I think that Roman is going to take a Mexican destroyer.
<v Speaker 1>I do. I don't see him taking a Penta driver,
<v Speaker 1>but I think he'll take a Mexican destroyer. And my God,
<v Speaker 1>those people in that building are going to lose their
<v Speaker 1>fucking minds. But it's going to be close, but he's
<v Speaker 1>going to kick out. I just don't see them doing it. Now,
<v Speaker 1>to the point that I just made with Sami Zayn,
<v Speaker 1>where he just won the belt tonight from Punk. Punk
<v Speaker 1>is on the World's Collide show. Punk could always win
<v Speaker 1>the belt back there because he's already been announced for
<v Speaker 1>the show. Roman is not, I believe, not supposed to
<v Speaker 1>be on that World's Collide show, but that doesn't mean, right,
<v Speaker 1>that if Penta were to win the belt, that you
<v Speaker 1>can't run it back there, put Roman on the show,
<v Speaker 1>and have him win it back. I just don't see
<v Speaker 1>the purpose in doing that. I'm not saying it wouldn't
<v Speaker 1>be this great moment, but I mean... As surprising as
<v Speaker 1>it was for me to see Sammy win the belt
<v Speaker 1>back tonight, that would blow my mind if Roman actually
<v Speaker 1>lost the pent on Monday. I just don't see it happening.
<v Speaker 1>I would love it. I would love to see it.
<v Speaker 1>Back-to-back title changes, though, Friday and Monday? I don't see that.
<v Speaker 1>But James, thank you, brother. I appreciate that. So Orton
<v Speaker 1>mocked Cody, asking the crowd, what do you want to
<v Speaker 1>talk about? And the crowd booed, very interesting, the crowd
<v Speaker 1>booed at the mention of Cody Rhodes, who was not
<v Speaker 1>on the show tonight. But they definitely were more a
<v Speaker 1>fan of Randy Orton, it seemed, than they were Cody Rhodes.
<v Speaker 1>Orton said Cody showed everybody exactly who he is on
<v Speaker 1>Sunday in front of his wife and mother. He said
<v Speaker 1>Cody is not a killer, he is a good man.
<v Speaker 1>He's a good husband, he's a good father and friend.
<v Speaker 1>He said it takes a lot to put down a legend,
<v Speaker 1>including a piece of your soul, and Cody's soul is
<v Speaker 1>not for sale. Well, I mean, we kind of found
<v Speaker 1>that out last year. Orton called himself a killer and
<v Speaker 1>said it means nothing to him whether or not he
<v Speaker 1>is perceived as a good person. Anyone who gets in
<v Speaker 1>the way of him winning number 15 is going to
<v Speaker 1>be destroyed. And he said the winner of the WWE
<v Speaker 1>Championship match tonight is next, whether it's CM Punk or
<v Speaker 1>whether it is Sami Zayn. So pretty pedestrian stuff here.
<v Speaker 1>Like I said before, no Cody tonight. Michael Cole did
<v Speaker 1>say later in the show that he would have an
<v Speaker 1>exclusive sit-down interview with him next week. They said they're
<v Speaker 1>going to be wearing Corpus. Is it Corpus Christi they're
<v Speaker 1>going to be in next week? I believe. So maybe
<v Speaker 1>Cody had a premonition that he wasn't going to get
<v Speaker 1>a very positive reception in Mexico City. And he's like,
<v Speaker 1>you know what? I think I'm going to hang back
<v Speaker 1>this week. I think I'm going to hang back. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not feeling too well. He's like me today. He's like,
<v Speaker 1>I'm sick. I'm not feeling too well. I think I'm
<v Speaker 1>going to hang back and I'll be back next week. Backstage,
<v Speaker 1>Chelsea Green thanked Nick Aldis for allowing her to defend
<v Speaker 1>her women's championship tonight. This was the first title defense
<v Speaker 1>of her reign. Aldis, though, warned her and said, look,
<v Speaker 1>if your bedazzled mask comes off and you get hurt again,
<v Speaker 1>that's it. The title is coming off you. By the way,
<v Speaker 1>they were also in the preview for this. On WWE.com earlier,
<v Speaker 1>they were listing Chelsea still as the interim women's champion.
<v Speaker 1>They had already taken that designation off of her name
<v Speaker 1>on that very same website on the roster page. So
<v Speaker 1>I assume that was just a fuck up and it
<v Speaker 1>wasn't something that they just did today. But she is
<v Speaker 1>no longer the interim champion. She is the WWE. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>as soon as they knew Rhea was having surgery, that
<v Speaker 1>should have been the end of that. But yeah, in
<v Speaker 1>the preview, I was like, hmm, interim. I'm assuming that's
<v Speaker 1>a typo. So Tiffany Stratton showed up, and she was
<v Speaker 1>very excited and talked about being in Chelsea's corner for
<v Speaker 1>her match with Nia Jax later. After this, they aired
<v Speaker 1>a tribute for the 25th anniversary of the September 11th attacks,
<v Speaker 1>and they highlighted that very first SmackDown that aired live
<v Speaker 1>two days later. I want to say that was the
<v Speaker 1>Compact Center, wasn't that? I think that was in Houston.
<v Speaker 1>I know that. And back then, I think it might
<v Speaker 1>have still been the Compact Center. So they showed highlights
<v Speaker 1>of that. Ray Phoenix, who's got a busy weekend ahead
<v Speaker 1>of him at TripleMania. Ray Phoenix is going to defend
<v Speaker 1>his AAA Cruiserweight Championship here against Ricky Saints. Phoenix is
<v Speaker 1>defending his title on Sunday in a four-way. They'll be
<v Speaker 1>putting it on the line against Nathan Frazier, Jack Cartwheel,
<v Speaker 1>and Mini Vekingo. How old is Mini Vekingo? He looks
<v Speaker 1>about 12. I don't know how old he is. What
<v Speaker 1>I've seen of him though, he is fun to watch,
<v Speaker 1>but he looks like a child. People said that about
<v Speaker 1>Rey Mysterio, too, when he was younger. I think he
<v Speaker 1>did okay for himself. So Ricky dropped him with a
<v Speaker 1>Revolution DDT out on the floor early in the match,
<v Speaker 1>ahead of an ad break. Later on, Phoenix took him
<v Speaker 1>off the top with an Avalanche Rana and then hit
<v Speaker 1>a Moonsault off the top. Almost lost his balance, but
<v Speaker 1>he regained his footing and recovered very nicely and hit
<v Speaker 1>the move. He's 18. He looks younger than that. Okay.
<v Speaker 1>Mini Vakingo apparently is 18 years old. What were you
<v Speaker 1>all doing when you were 18 years old? Mini Vakingo
<v Speaker 1>was in there. He's wrestling for the Cruiserweight Championship on Sunday.
<v Speaker 1>So Saints went out to the apron. Phoenix caught him
<v Speaker 1>with the adios amigo kick, followed on the floor with
<v Speaker 1>another moonsault. Back inside, Phoenix tried a molly-go-round off the ropes,
<v Speaker 1>and Ricky just caught him into a powerbomb, and then
<v Speaker 1>landed a revolution DDT only for a two-count. Phoenix avoided
<v Speaker 1>the Rochambeau. He had a handspring cutter for two of
<v Speaker 1>his own. Not long after that, he finished off Saints
<v Speaker 1>with the Mexican Muscle Buster. When it was over... He
<v Speaker 1>waited for Ricky to get back to his feet. He
<v Speaker 1>put his hand out for a handshake, and Ricky just
<v Speaker 1>blew him off. Poor sport. Good stuff here from these two.
<v Speaker 1>I thought this was a really smart choice, too, for
<v Speaker 1>an opener. Easy reaction out of the crowd. They love this.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, look, you knew they weren't going to slide
<v Speaker 1>Ricky into that spot in the four-way on Sunday, so
<v Speaker 1>even though the outcome was a foregone conclusion, I still
<v Speaker 1>had fun with this. So Kathy Kelly interviewed Sami Zayn backstage,
<v Speaker 1>and he said that he would have been happy if
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Owens had beaten CM Punk, but Owens didn't want it.
<v Speaker 1>Didn't want it bad enough, apparently. He would have been
<v Speaker 1>happy with Johnny Gargano as well, but that didn't work
<v Speaker 1>out either, and so now I'll be the man, because
<v Speaker 1>it was always meant to be him. For there to
<v Speaker 1>be justice, he has to take back what Punk stole
<v Speaker 1>from him. So Johnny Gargano showed up. And he wanted
<v Speaker 1>to make sure that he's next if Sammy wins tonight.
<v Speaker 1>Sammy was very noncommittal about the whole thing, and Gargano
<v Speaker 1>was dead serious. He says, I have next if you win.
<v Speaker 1>So after weeks and weeks of buildup, it was now
<v Speaker 1>time for a match that I know all of you
<v Speaker 1>have been waiting for with bated breath. Paige, one-on-one with
<v Speaker 1>Nikki Bella. We finally got it here on this show.
<v Speaker 1>Nikki was out first. Paige came out. She was not smiling.
<v Speaker 1>She power walked her way down to the ring and
<v Speaker 1>she took Nikki down right away. Took her outside. Nikki
<v Speaker 1>got sent into the barricade. Paige started mocking her by
<v Speaker 1>doing the Bella twirl, which I will not reenact for you.
<v Speaker 1>And the fans loved this so much that they wanted
<v Speaker 1>an encore. And so Paige gave them an encore and
<v Speaker 1>she twirled around again. In the ring, Nikki pulled the
<v Speaker 1>referee in front of her as a human shield and
<v Speaker 1>then rolled up Paige and used her feet on the
<v Speaker 1>ropes for leverage to steal the win. That's it. That's
<v Speaker 1>all this match was. I just summed it up for you.
<v Speaker 1>It lasted all of three minutes, and I'm going to
<v Speaker 1>tell you something right now. I'm not complaining about that
<v Speaker 1>because this didn't need to go any longer than that.
<v Speaker 1>I got my fill. I'm not upset that this didn't
<v Speaker 1>get an extra three or four minutes. However, I don't
<v Speaker 1>think we're done yet. Clearly, we are not done yet.
<v Speaker 1>I imagine that this will culminate in some sort of
<v Speaker 1>extreme rules type stipulation between these two where they can
<v Speaker 1>use what they always use, the kendo stick. I am
<v Speaker 1>certain that kendo sticks will come into play in this
<v Speaker 1>feud before all is said and done. But none of
<v Speaker 1>this here was very good. After this, we had once
<v Speaker 1>again the new men's United States champion Trick Williams, out
<v Speaker 1>to the ring. As he was making his way down
<v Speaker 1>to the ring, he was presented by a female fan
<v Speaker 1>in the front row with a football, or a soccer ball,
<v Speaker 1>as all of us here in the States would call it.
<v Speaker 1>And he rolled the ball into the ring with him.
<v Speaker 1>He started cutting his promo, and he ended up kicking
<v Speaker 1>the ball into the crowd, compared to how he kicked
<v Speaker 1>Baron Corbin's ass at Sunday night's main event. He then
<v Speaker 1>introduced his boy, the man who helped him win the
<v Speaker 1>United States Championship, or at least get his rematch, Lil Yachty.
<v Speaker 1>They played his music and nobody came out. No Yachty.
<v Speaker 1>So Trick gassed him up a little bit more, tried again.
<v Speaker 1>This time, Corbin dragged a beaten Yachty out onto the
<v Speaker 1>stage and left him laying. Trick ran all the way
<v Speaker 1>down to go chase Corbin to the back. Then he
<v Speaker 1>came back out. He was helping Yachty to his feet.
<v Speaker 1>Only for Corbin to come back out with, I just
<v Speaker 1>got done talking about the women in the kendo sticks.
<v Speaker 1>He has a kendo stick. He has the trick stick.
<v Speaker 1>And he smashes it across Trick's back. And now Trick
<v Speaker 1>is down. Yachty is down. He said, how about it?
<v Speaker 1>That's what he should have done. He should have looked
<v Speaker 1>down and said, how about it? Sully, you forgot to
<v Speaker 1>say Paige here. Paige here. I can't do the accent.
<v Speaker 1>Paige here. Paige here. That meme will never die, huh?
<v Speaker 1>But he looked down at them and he yelled, this
<v Speaker 1>ain't over yet. And I just thought, is that a threat?
<v Speaker 1>Why are you threatening me? Why is this not over?
<v Speaker 1>We had this match three times. Three times we had this.
<v Speaker 1>And we got the match between Corbin and Yachty. And
<v Speaker 1>we got the payoff with Trick winning the belt back
<v Speaker 1>and getting the feel-good moment at the end. So why
<v Speaker 1>does this need to continue? We go backstage. Finn Balor
<v Speaker 1>was talking to Nick Aldis. He made it very clear
<v Speaker 1>to the GM that he was next in line for
<v Speaker 1>a shot at the WWE champion. I love how everybody
<v Speaker 1>is just dictating I'm next in line. It actually feels
<v Speaker 1>like there's never been a better time, like in storyline,
<v Speaker 1>to have a top five just to try to control
<v Speaker 1>all of the chaos around this belt. You had Johnny Gargano,
<v Speaker 1>who spent six months laying on top of a crate,
<v Speaker 1>who seems to think that he should be next in
<v Speaker 1>line for a shot at the championship. I mean, he
<v Speaker 1>doesn't really have a leg to stand on there. What
<v Speaker 1>has he done to deserve a shot? But everybody wants one.
<v Speaker 1>Everybody thinks they deserve a shot. So Gunther walked in.
<v Speaker 1>I should mention that Danhausen was fucking around in the background.
<v Speaker 1>Gunther showed up. Third time, by the way, in the
<v Speaker 1>last few weeks that Danhausen and Gunther, if they haven't interacted,
<v Speaker 1>that they've at least been a part of the same segment.
<v Speaker 1>This is going somewhere. But Gunther said that he was
<v Speaker 1>complaining about being stuck behind a guy in Balor who
<v Speaker 1>peaked 10 years ago, and really, if he had any dignity,
<v Speaker 1>should have already retired. So this all led to Balor
<v Speaker 1>knocking him backwards onto a couch. We're going to be
<v Speaker 1>getting that match. We've known this for weeks. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know when they're planning on doing this match. When they
<v Speaker 1>do it, though, it should be a hell of a match.
<v Speaker 1>I remember when I was very much looking forward to
<v Speaker 1>seeing these two wrestle for the NXT UK Championship, which
<v Speaker 1>we were robbed of back in 2021. We never did
<v Speaker 1>get that match. We got this match, though. I kind
<v Speaker 1>of wish we didn't. WWE Women's Championship on the line.
<v Speaker 1>It was Chelsea Green in her first title defense defending
<v Speaker 1>against Nia Jax, who I believe they said was looking
<v Speaker 1>for her third championship. Lash Legend was in Nia's corner.
<v Speaker 1>Tiffany Stratton was in Chelsea's corner. Nia dropped her late
<v Speaker 1>in the match with a pop-up Samoan drop. Could not
<v Speaker 1>score the three. But then she ripped the bedazzled face
<v Speaker 1>mask off of Chelsea, exposing the face. Sent her out
<v Speaker 1>to the floor. Lash was about to go on the attack.
<v Speaker 1>Tiffany comes over. She shoves Chelsea out of harm's way
<v Speaker 1>and takes the bullet from Lash. Chelsea then sends Lash
<v Speaker 1>face-first into the ring post. Gets back in the ring. Nia, though,
<v Speaker 1>catches her. She has her set up now on the
<v Speaker 1>mat for the Annihilator. And as she comes down, Chelsea
<v Speaker 1>rolls out of the way. After this, they ended up
<v Speaker 1>on the ropes. Chelsea gave her a headbutt, or I
<v Speaker 1>think as Michael Cole called it, a facebutt. Which is
<v Speaker 1>a hell of a way of describing a move here.
<v Speaker 1>We'll call it a headbutt with the face mask. Nia
<v Speaker 1>falls off the ropes. She's standing in the ring, in
<v Speaker 1>the corner. And Chelsea Green went for the same finish
<v Speaker 1>that she used to beat Meechan. A couple of years ago.
<v Speaker 1>To become the very first women's United States championship. Where
<v Speaker 1>she did a flip. And she landed on her feet.
<v Speaker 1>And in one fluid motion. She grabs her opponent's arms.
<v Speaker 1>In position for an unpretty her. And it looked great
<v Speaker 1>in that match. It was a great finish. And a
<v Speaker 1>great moment for Chelsea. Unfortunately it did not work out
<v Speaker 1>the same way here. She flipped over. And she couldn't
<v Speaker 1>keep her balance. So it got all fucked up. Then
<v Speaker 1>she got her balance and she just kind of grabbed
<v Speaker 1>the arms and then just fell down. And Nia took
<v Speaker 1>this just horrendous, weak-looking bump. And I thought, man, that's
<v Speaker 1>going to be the finish. And of all the things
<v Speaker 1>to fuck up in that moment and to look like shit,
<v Speaker 1>you don't want it to be the finish. And I'm
<v Speaker 1>sure nobody was beating themselves up more than Chelsea about it.
<v Speaker 1>But that's the way it goes sometimes. Yeah, this did
<v Speaker 1>not look good. But Chelsea got the pin and she
<v Speaker 1>retains the Women's Championship. Maybe... you know I said unfortunately
<v Speaker 1>the match ended there instead of them being able to
<v Speaker 1>kind of either redo it or just continue on to
<v Speaker 1>do a different finish but fortunately it ended there it's
<v Speaker 1>because if I say unfortunately would indicate the rest of
<v Speaker 1>the match was very good and it wasn't so thankfully
<v Speaker 1>that was the end of that fans in Mexico City
<v Speaker 1>though hey look if nothing else they love seeing Chelsea
<v Speaker 1>They were very much behind Chelsea Green, so that's a positive.
<v Speaker 1>I'm trying. I'm trying. I'm trying to find a silver
<v Speaker 1>lining in this. After this, CM Punk was interviewed in
<v Speaker 1>the back by Kathy Kelly, was asked about Sami Zayn
<v Speaker 1>badgering him for a rematch. Punk said sometimes bad behavior
<v Speaker 1>needs to be taught a lesson. He said as the champion,
<v Speaker 1>you get to win the idiot lottery. I agree, you know,
<v Speaker 1>sometimes on social media, when you choose to respond to people,
<v Speaker 1>you too win the idiot lottery. But he said he's
<v Speaker 1>got a bunch of men gunning for him. He's not here, though,
<v Speaker 1>in Mexico City to lose his title to a guy
<v Speaker 1>who broke his hand jerking off to his nine day
<v Speaker 1>title run. Oh, boy. What a line there from Punk.
<v Speaker 1>It's probably not wrong either. I mean, Sammy hasn't shut
<v Speaker 1>up about it ever since. Tonight, though, he's breaking Sammy's
<v Speaker 1>face in the thin air of Mexico City, and he
<v Speaker 1>will prove to Sammy that he is the best in
<v Speaker 1>the world. Damien Priest and R-Truth, they had one more
<v Speaker 1>shot to become AAA Tag Team Champions here, taking on
<v Speaker 1>the Viking Raiders, or the War Raiders, whatever the fuck
<v Speaker 1>their names are. They were the Viking Raiders. Now they're
<v Speaker 1>the War Raiders. They were in Mexico City. Now, when
<v Speaker 1>the War Raiders have come out on television in recent
<v Speaker 1>months as the AAA Tag Team Champions, unfortunately for them,
<v Speaker 1>nobody seems to care. They get no reaction. So I
<v Speaker 1>figured they're in Mexico City and they're on the TripleMania
<v Speaker 1>card this weekend. They're going to have this open challenge,
<v Speaker 1>I think, on Sunday for the Tag Team Championships. But
<v Speaker 1>they've been hanging around down there now for a while.
<v Speaker 1>They're the champs. Surely they'll get some sort of reaction
<v Speaker 1>here when they come out. Nope. You could hear crickets.
<v Speaker 1>And this is a building that was very loud for
<v Speaker 1>the majority of this show, but nobody seemed to care.
<v Speaker 1>So the Vikings, they kept Truth isolated for a while.
<v Speaker 1>The priest eventually was able to take the hot tag.
<v Speaker 1>He ran wild. And the fans amused themselves here as
<v Speaker 1>Truth was on the apron by chanting, Let's go, Cena.
<v Speaker 1>He did, when Truth got in the ring later, he
<v Speaker 1>did lift Ivar up on his shoulders and dumped him
<v Speaker 1>for the attitude adjustment. which got a nice reaction. He
<v Speaker 1>only got a near fall out of that. Priest tried
<v Speaker 1>to intervene. He got taken up into the air for
<v Speaker 1>the assisted pop-up power slam, and the War Raiders took
<v Speaker 1>care of Truth with their Ragnarok finish for the three
<v Speaker 1>count to retain the titles. As Roman would say, no pot.
<v Speaker 1>Just what I thought, no pot. I always forget, who
<v Speaker 1>was he referencing in that promo? when he said that.
<v Speaker 1>So after the match, this is the moment that I
<v Speaker 1>think most of us were, were expecting and probably hoping for.
<v Speaker 1>I know I was the music stops. It's the day
<v Speaker 1>the music died. Truth is down. Priest is just very
<v Speaker 1>disappointed that they've lost again. Cause he went against his
<v Speaker 1>better judgment and even accepting this match. Remember he told
<v Speaker 1>truth a few weeks ago. I think it's time that
<v Speaker 1>you and I, we had a fun summer. But I
<v Speaker 1>think it's time that you and I, we part ways.
<v Speaker 1>I have ambitions, you know, for singles championships. And then
<v Speaker 1>he got roped into this somehow. So he's been embarrassed
<v Speaker 1>because now they've lost again. But was it Seth Rollins? Okay.
<v Speaker 1>I thought it was Cody, but that makes it even funnier.
<v Speaker 1>No pop. But he helps truth to his feet. And
<v Speaker 1>They shook hands or hugged, right? They embraced. Everything seemed
<v Speaker 1>to be copacetic between these two. And then Priest goes
<v Speaker 1>and calls for the Mexican sombrero that Truth had worn
<v Speaker 1>down to the ring with him. And he takes the
<v Speaker 1>sombrero and he places it on Truth's head. And Truth
<v Speaker 1>is posing. And sure enough, when he turns around, Priest
<v Speaker 1>takes him down with a hard lariat. He clotheslines the
<v Speaker 1>shit out of this man. And the fans of Mexico City...
<v Speaker 1>They boo, they rained boos down upon Damian Priest because
<v Speaker 1>they love R-Truth. So they booed this man. He then
<v Speaker 1>gave him a South of Heaven Chokeslam onto the sombrero.
<v Speaker 1>What a monster this guy is. Onto the sombrero. Damian
<v Speaker 1>Priest now, once again, newly minted heel on SmackDown. This
<v Speaker 1>is exactly what he needs. I can't sit here and
<v Speaker 1>tell you that he's going to go on to have
<v Speaker 1>all of this success that he's been lacking so far
<v Speaker 1>since he came to Friday Night's. But he's going to
<v Speaker 1>have a better shot at it, I think. And he'll
<v Speaker 1>have different babyfaces to work with at the top of
<v Speaker 1>the card. Whether it is CM Punk or Kevin Owens
<v Speaker 1>or Cody Rhodes. At the appropriate time when they're ready,
<v Speaker 1>or if they're ready, to kind of move him up
<v Speaker 1>the card into that position. I think he'll settle into
<v Speaker 1>the US title picture, maybe even win the belt. I
<v Speaker 1>could see that. But whatever it is, it's got to
<v Speaker 1>be better than what they've had him doing over the
<v Speaker 1>last few months. I mean, we all knew the pairing
<v Speaker 1>with Truth was always going to have a shelf life
<v Speaker 1>on it. But even before that, again, it wasn't like
<v Speaker 1>he was lighting the world on fire on Friday nights.
<v Speaker 1>And I think the potential is there for him to
<v Speaker 1>be doing so much more. I'm not going to say
<v Speaker 1>he should be the face of the brand or anything
<v Speaker 1>like that. You could be very successful on the show
<v Speaker 1>and not be in the Cody Rhodes QB1 spot. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not saying that. I'm just saying do more. And let's
<v Speaker 1>see if he gets over as a heel. If he
<v Speaker 1>can get these types of reactions every week where he goes.
<v Speaker 1>That would be nice. It would be a nice change
<v Speaker 1>of pace from what he's been doing for quite some
<v Speaker 1>time now on this show. So I liked it. I
<v Speaker 1>think this was a necessary move. Predictable? Sure. But I
<v Speaker 1>like what they did. In the back, Alexa Bliss was
<v Speaker 1>walking with Charlotte Flair and telling her, look, one miscue
<v Speaker 1>at Sunday night's main event. It happens to the best
<v Speaker 1>of us. Fatal influence showed up. They were laughing at
<v Speaker 1>them and and Tatum Paxley, who wasn't there yet, for
<v Speaker 1>losing to Jade Cargill and her baddies. Charlotte said that,
<v Speaker 1>I'm not in the mood. And Jaycee said, well, your
<v Speaker 1>mood is only going to get worse. With money in
<v Speaker 1>the bank around the corner, that briefcase is coming to them.
<v Speaker 1>Then Tatum shows up, and she reminds them that her
<v Speaker 1>and Charlotte, we beat you. So you should be holding
<v Speaker 1>on to your women's tag team titles really, really closely.
<v Speaker 1>So Fatal Influence left. Tatum then tried to tell Charlotte, look,
<v Speaker 1>You can trust me because of what happened on Sunday.
<v Speaker 1>They were both in the ring together. Tatum got kicked
<v Speaker 1>into Charlotte. They bonked heads, and it led to Charlotte
<v Speaker 1>losing for her team. So she's trying to tell Charlotte, look,
<v Speaker 1>it was a mistake. You can trust me. Charlotte told her,
<v Speaker 1>I trust Lexi, but I hope that what happened on
<v Speaker 1>Sunday was just a rookie mistake. Then it was to
<v Speaker 1>Kathy Kelly, who was elsewhere in the back with Ray Phoenix.
<v Speaker 1>who was talking about his brother Penta, big World Heavyweight
<v Speaker 1>Championship match coming up in Mexico City this Monday. Wrestling
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns and Phoenix said it's a big weekend for
<v Speaker 1>their family. He's got the big four-way coming up on Sunday.
<v Speaker 1>He just defended his title tonight, Penta on Monday. So
<v Speaker 1>Ricky Saints interrupted. And he said, look, I just want
<v Speaker 1>to apologize for what happened earlier. Obviously, I hate losing,
<v Speaker 1>but I shouldn't have walked away from you like that.
<v Speaker 1>And he told Phoenix that He was the better man,
<v Speaker 1>and he shook his hand. And the fans in the arena,
<v Speaker 1>polite applause for this. And I'm like, this ain't gonna
<v Speaker 1>end like that. And Ricky walks away, and Phoenix goes
<v Speaker 1>back to doing his interview. And then Ricky ambushes him.
<v Speaker 1>And then he sends him into a garage door. Phoenix
<v Speaker 1>is all laid out. And he looks down at Phoenix,
<v Speaker 1>and he tells him, I'm the better man tonight. And
<v Speaker 1>off he goes. I was happy to see that, because
<v Speaker 1>when he lost earlier in the show... I was like,
<v Speaker 1>where do you go now with Ricky? If this is
<v Speaker 1>a one and done, I don't know. What's next for
<v Speaker 1>Ricky Saints on this show? And then he popped up
<v Speaker 1>here and I'm like, okay, good. They're keeping this alive.
<v Speaker 1>And if they run this back and they put that
<v Speaker 1>belt on the line, I could see Ricky winning it
<v Speaker 1>once they get past Triple Mania this weekend. Actually, it's
<v Speaker 1>very possible Phoenix could lose that title this weekend. But
<v Speaker 1>he's been defending it a lot. I don't know that
<v Speaker 1>they necessarily want to take the belt off of him.
<v Speaker 1>He's been doing a good job with it. It's just
<v Speaker 1>nice to see him actually doing stuff, right? How many
<v Speaker 1>months went by where we didn't even see him on
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown at all? He was like a ghost on this show.
<v Speaker 1>At least now, because of that championship and they want
<v Speaker 1>to give it maximum visibility, we actually get to see
<v Speaker 1>him on the shows. And we can get matches like
<v Speaker 1>the one we had with him and Ricky at the
<v Speaker 1>beginning of the show. So I kind of hope he
<v Speaker 1>doesn't drop the belt. I don't know what that means
<v Speaker 1>for him if he does. We may not see him
<v Speaker 1>again for a while. Oh man, Venom Katetsu, tater nuts
<v Speaker 1>from that 70s show? What are you talking about? Do
<v Speaker 1>I even want to know? Oh boy. Anyway. Now it's
<v Speaker 1>main event time. WWE Championship on the line. CM Punk
<v Speaker 1>putting his title up for grabs against the former champion,
<v Speaker 1>the man who evidently has been jerking off ever since
<v Speaker 1>his nine-day title run came to an end. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>don't look at me. I mean, this is what Punk said.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know how you would know this. CM Punk
<v Speaker 1>and Sami Zayn. Punk was out there wearing the colors
<v Speaker 1>of the Mexican flag on his trunks. Or tights, I guess, right?
<v Speaker 1>He was wearing tights. Zayn, he honed in on a
<v Speaker 1>leg injury that Punk was selling early in the match.
<v Speaker 1>He was going to go for the kill. Punk did
<v Speaker 1>get a GTS attempt in there. Sami, though, caught his
<v Speaker 1>leg on the way down. And then Sami got a
<v Speaker 1>figure four leg lock applied. So Punk was screaming and
<v Speaker 1>he was trying to make his way, you know, to
<v Speaker 1>the ropes. And he did. So he got the break.
<v Speaker 1>Sammy pulled the wrap off his own broken hand at
<v Speaker 1>that point. I guess the hand was bothering him. You
<v Speaker 1>got the walking wounded here in the ring. Each man
<v Speaker 1>was selling a different injury. Hope nobody was in the
<v Speaker 1>corner watching. Somebody must have been watching. Punk must have
<v Speaker 1>been watching. How does he know? Thank God we don't
<v Speaker 1>have those GTV segments anymore. Can you imagine if that
<v Speaker 1>popped up on TV? Let's go to Sammy Zane's locker room. Like, no,
<v Speaker 1>I don't, I don't need to see that. JTV. So
<v Speaker 1>during a commercial break, Punk went up for the Randy
<v Speaker 1>Savage elbow. Took too long though. Sammy crotched him. Then
<v Speaker 1>he took him to the mat with a superplex. Punk
<v Speaker 1>came back with a running bulldog attempt, but he got
<v Speaker 1>shoved off and, uh, As he got shoved forward, he
<v Speaker 1>kind of tripped over his own bad knee. Sami grabbed
<v Speaker 1>him for a blue thunderbomb. Could not lift him, though,
<v Speaker 1>with the bad hand. But the second attempt was successful,
<v Speaker 1>and he was able to get a two-count out of it.
<v Speaker 1>Zayn hit the exploder into the corner. He had him
<v Speaker 1>in prime position. He backs up into the opposite corner.
<v Speaker 1>He's got Punk right where he wants him. Here comes
<v Speaker 1>the Haluva kick. Punk, though, meets him with a clothesline.
<v Speaker 1>And then Punk hits the go to sleep. His knee, though,
<v Speaker 1>gave out. Or at least he further injured his knee.
<v Speaker 1>So there was a delayed crawl. A few seconds went by.
<v Speaker 1>Eventually he was able to cover Sammy. And Sammy just
<v Speaker 1>got the shoulder up to keep Hope alive. So here
<v Speaker 1>comes Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae. So when I think
<v Speaker 1>of GTV... that's actually the segment I think of. I
<v Speaker 1>think of, of it's big show and Val Venus at
<v Speaker 1>the urinal. And he just looks over and he says,
<v Speaker 1>and they call you the big show. And then I
<v Speaker 1>think show just kicked his ass at that point. Some
<v Speaker 1>of them were funny. I will say that some of
<v Speaker 1>them were funny. Some of them were stupid. That's the
<v Speaker 1>one I remember that. And whatever the hell, I don't
<v Speaker 1>even remember the circumstances around it. When, uh, Regal, this
<v Speaker 1>was in like 01, I think. When Regal got peed on,
<v Speaker 1>remember that? And it was like green. I know I'm
<v Speaker 1>not making this, I'm not imagining this. He got peed
<v Speaker 1>on and whatever device that they used for it, it
<v Speaker 1>came out, it looked like, I don't know, it looked like,
<v Speaker 1>what did it look like? It looked like fucking slime
<v Speaker 1>or something. Like what the hell? What the hell is
<v Speaker 1>he even drinking? Yes, okay, it was Big Show. Big
<v Speaker 1>Show pissing on Regal. But why was it green? So
<v Speaker 1>here comes Johnny Gargano from Green P. We go to
<v Speaker 1>Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae. Johnny wants Sammy to win
<v Speaker 1>this match again because Sammy, in his mind, promised him
<v Speaker 1>a shot at the championship. Sammy, he got another figure
<v Speaker 1>four leg lock applied. Punk grabbed Sammy's bad hand, though,
<v Speaker 1>and was able to get The hold broken and then
<v Speaker 1>transitioned into an anaconda vice. The referee, though, at this point,
<v Speaker 1>is being distracted by Candice Larez. I'm being distracted by
<v Speaker 1>the chat right now. Mutant piss. Yeah. Yes, that's exactly
<v Speaker 1>what it was. Ugh. It's just Mountain Dew. Oh, I
<v Speaker 1>don't drink Mountain Dew. I think Mountain Dew is fucking disgusting,
<v Speaker 1>so I wouldn't know. Actually, you've just given me a
<v Speaker 1>good reason not to drink Mountain Dew. So, Candice LeRae
<v Speaker 1>was busy distracting the referee. Gargano, in the meantime, he
<v Speaker 1>grabs the WWE Championship, and he gets into the ring...
<v Speaker 1>He's going to go hit Punk with it. Punk, though,
<v Speaker 1>as he comes in, scoops him up and hits a GTS.
<v Speaker 1>And now Gargano was planking again, face down, this time
<v Speaker 1>on the mat. The referee is trying to roll him
<v Speaker 1>out of the ring. As he's doing this, Sammy spots
<v Speaker 1>the belt. He spots the belt laying on the mat.
<v Speaker 1>And he's crawling towards it. He's reaching for the belt.
<v Speaker 1>But here comes Kevin Owens into the ring. And Kevin
<v Speaker 1>Owens snatches the belt away from him before he can
<v Speaker 1>grab it. He went to go hit Sammy with it.
<v Speaker 1>Sammy ducks. And Owens blasts CM Punk in the head
<v Speaker 1>with the WWE Championship. Owens actually looked very pleased with
<v Speaker 1>what he did. He smirked. And not because he was
<v Speaker 1>in cahoots with Sammy, but he smirked because he doesn't
<v Speaker 1>like CM Punk. He didn't feel badly about doing that
<v Speaker 1>to CM Punk. And then when he turned around and
<v Speaker 1>he went to go after Sammy, Sammy went low on Owens.
<v Speaker 1>Sammy then got rid of the evidence. And he caught
<v Speaker 1>Punk in the corner with the Huluva kick and Sami
<v Speaker 1>Zayn pinned CM Punk to regain the WWE Championship. I
<v Speaker 1>was not expecting a title change here. I was pleasantly
<v Speaker 1>surprised by this. The fans of Mexico City didn't seem
<v Speaker 1>too happy about it because they don't like this man.
<v Speaker 1>But I like that. I mean, look, you had obviously
<v Speaker 1>all the overbooking and all the shenanigans there at the finish.
<v Speaker 1>But I figured whether it went that way or a
<v Speaker 1>different way, we were going to get interference anyway. So
<v Speaker 1>you kind of have to condition yourself to expect it
<v Speaker 1>going into it because why wouldn't these people get involved?
<v Speaker 1>Think of all the men that Sami Zayn has screwed
<v Speaker 1>over in the last few weeks and has screwed them
<v Speaker 1>in their opportunity to become the champion, including Kevin Owens,
<v Speaker 1>Gunther and Finn Balor, all of these people that he
<v Speaker 1>has walloped upside the head with the belt and You
<v Speaker 1>don't get yours until I get mine. Why would they just, like,
<v Speaker 1>where were Gunther and Balor? Why would they just lay
<v Speaker 1>back and do nothing, right? Somebody was going to come out. Owens,
<v Speaker 1>as it turned out, Owens was the only one angry
<v Speaker 1>enough to come out, but still, you had to expect
<v Speaker 1>something like that was going to happen. And they had
<v Speaker 1>a good match. They had a, for me anyway, again,
<v Speaker 1>a surprising finish. I enjoyed this, but I immediately started
<v Speaker 1>thinking about, okay, in a few weeks we have Worlds Collide.
<v Speaker 1>Punk is advertised for that show. Are they just going
<v Speaker 1>to run this back on that show? And if so,
<v Speaker 1>does that mean the belt goes right back to Punk
<v Speaker 1>on the 26th? I think there's a very good possibility
<v Speaker 1>that we're going to at least get the match. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not going to sit here and make predictions yet on
<v Speaker 1>how the match is going to go, but I think
<v Speaker 1>there's probably a very good chance that we get that
<v Speaker 1>match on that show. The WWE title scene, as I
<v Speaker 1>mentioned earlier in the review, it continues to be very
<v Speaker 1>messy and chaotic. And that's a good thing. Right? Punk
<v Speaker 1>now is going to want the belt back. Orton is
<v Speaker 1>going around telling people, I want number 15. No one
<v Speaker 1>is going to stop me from winning championship number 15.
<v Speaker 1>Of course, Cody Rhodes will have something to say about that.
<v Speaker 1>Cody is going to want the belt back too, but
<v Speaker 1>for God's sakes, keep him away from the belt for
<v Speaker 1>the rest of the year. But like Orton is staking
<v Speaker 1>his claim, Kevin Owens wants the belt, Gunther wants the belt,
<v Speaker 1>Finn Balor wants the belt, fucking Johnny Gargano wants the belt.
<v Speaker 1>The sharks are circling. And that makes for a more
<v Speaker 1>compelling championship picture at the top of the card on
<v Speaker 1>this show. Sami Zayn has a giant bullseye now on
<v Speaker 1>his front and his back. Everybody's going to be gunning
<v Speaker 1>for this guy. There was another thought I had also,
<v Speaker 1>which would require them to keep the belt on Sami
<v Speaker 1>long enough to get there. But, you know, we have
<v Speaker 1>Survivor Series coming up and we have War Games coming.
<v Speaker 1>and somebody had mentioned a similar idea, but I was
<v Speaker 1>thinking about this and just all of the competition that
<v Speaker 1>we have right now for this championship. I wouldn't mind
<v Speaker 1>it if they wanted to take the War Games match
<v Speaker 1>this year at Survivor Series and turn it into a
<v Speaker 1>WWE championship match. I mean, you have enough people. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>they have two rings. You can still do a women's
<v Speaker 1>War Games match, but instead of doing like a men's
<v Speaker 1>traditional War Games match, You make it for the WWE Championship.
<v Speaker 1>It works even better if Sami is the champion because
<v Speaker 1>now he's being put in this impossible position where it's like,
<v Speaker 1>how is he going to survive this, right? It's like
<v Speaker 1>years ago we had that six-pack challenge at Armageddon for
<v Speaker 1>the title inside Hell in a Cell, right? This would
<v Speaker 1>almost be like a more modern version of that, but just,
<v Speaker 1>you know, the wrestlers back then were much bigger stars.
<v Speaker 1>That's just objectively true. I mean, look who you had
<v Speaker 1>in that Armageddon Hell in a Cell match. Come on now.
<v Speaker 1>But The closest thing maybe to something like that would
<v Speaker 1>be a War Games mag. where you have the champion
<v Speaker 1>in there and then a new person enters after a
<v Speaker 1>certain interval and you have five, six, seven different guys,
<v Speaker 1>you know, however many people it might be. And you
<v Speaker 1>have War Games for the championship. You know, I mean, look,
<v Speaker 1>it would be a departure from what they traditionally do
<v Speaker 1>with the whole team format, but it's like, Are we
<v Speaker 1>going to survive if we don't have the fucking bloodline
<v Speaker 1>in war games for one year? I think you'll be okay,
<v Speaker 1>but I know it's asking a lot. We got to
<v Speaker 1>have the bloodline in war games. I mean, the two
<v Speaker 1>of them go hand in hand. Just a thought. Very unlikely,
<v Speaker 1>but just a thought. I'm digging what they're doing at
<v Speaker 1>the top of the card here. And that was SmackDown
<v Speaker 1>from Mexico City. The first, but not the last show
<v Speaker 1>that WWE is going to be having in Mexico City.
<v Speaker 1>Because on Monday, we have Roman Reigns and Penta for
<v Speaker 1>the World Heavyweight Championship in that main event. We also
<v Speaker 1>have Chad Gable is going to be putting his Intercontinental
<v Speaker 1>title on the line against Dragon Lee. As long as
<v Speaker 1>they give these guys time. I mean, those two matches
<v Speaker 1>right there, regardless of what else they do. And we
<v Speaker 1>have two Money in the Bank qualifiers as well on Monday.
<v Speaker 1>But regardless of whatever else they do on that show,
<v Speaker 1>that show is going to be sold on those two matches. Like,
<v Speaker 1>I'm looking forward to both of those matches very much so.
<v Speaker 1>There were no ads on the mat. Why is that
<v Speaker 1>the first thing I noticed? Because on Sunday night's main event,
<v Speaker 1>they were everywhere. So when there's none, you notice that
<v Speaker 1>sort of thing. It's kind of nice. Honestly, I didn't
<v Speaker 1>even notice it until you just mentioned. I'm going to
<v Speaker 1>be honest. I didn't even notice it until you just
<v Speaker 1>said something. So anyway, that's Monday. And again, Triple Mania
<v Speaker 1>Night 2 will be taking place on Sunday. I won't
<v Speaker 1>be live for that, but anything important happens, I'll make
<v Speaker 1>sure I talk about it on Uncrowned coming up this Tuesday.
<v Speaker 1>We spun the wheel earlier, and the goal for the
<v Speaker 1>wheel was 390. We're still lagging a little bit, but
<v Speaker 1>we're working our way up there. We're around 350-ish right now.
<v Speaker 1>So we need about 40 more. If we want to
<v Speaker 1>hit the goal. Let's go to your questions here. I
<v Speaker 1>want to hear from you guys. Thank you again for
<v Speaker 1>hanging out with me here on a Friday night. Denny
<v Speaker 1>is late to the party. Yeah, brother. You got to
<v Speaker 1>get here earlier. You got to join the party earlier
<v Speaker 1>like our boy Joseph Stewart over here. Hey, Joseph, what's
<v Speaker 1>going on, man? I hope you're having a great Friday night.
<v Speaker 1>He's got a few wrestling questions for us. Do you
<v Speaker 1>remember The Undertaker set a dummy of Kane on fire
<v Speaker 1>on Raw when Undertaker was standing on top of the Titantron?
<v Speaker 1>Undertaker was standing on top of the Titantron? I don't
<v Speaker 1>remember that at all. Why would The Undertaker be standing
<v Speaker 1>on top of the Titantron? Do you remember when Kane
<v Speaker 1>set one of the sound men on fire? That I remember.
<v Speaker 1>A lightning bolt, right? And then he ran up the ramp.
<v Speaker 1>That was very cool. Why did we never get another
<v Speaker 1>Brock Lesnar versus Rock match? Well, technically we did. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>they were part of a three-way in Australia. They had
<v Speaker 1>a global warning show in 2002. It was Rock Brock
<v Speaker 1>and Triple H. But if you don't count that, then
<v Speaker 1>they were going to have a Wrestlemania match the original
<v Speaker 1>plan for Wrestlemania 30 it's going to be Rock and
<v Speaker 1>Brock the streak might have lived but then Rock tore
<v Speaker 1>every fucking muscle in his body in that second match
<v Speaker 1>with John Cena and they couldn't shoot the angle for
<v Speaker 1>it on Raw the next night so that went out
<v Speaker 1>the window so that's why we never got another one
<v Speaker 1>what if Schwarzenegger played Batman No, I think Furlong and
<v Speaker 1>Schwarzenegger and all of them, their roles in Terminator were perfect.
<v Speaker 1>They didn't need to be in Batman. Terminator 2 3D
<v Speaker 1>battle across time at Universal Studios. I never saw that.
<v Speaker 1>The movie was great, though. The movie was very cutting
<v Speaker 1>edge for its time. And no, actually, Joseph, I did
<v Speaker 1>not know that. Favorite characters from the Terminator movies? I mean,
<v Speaker 1>you gotta go with Arnie. Come on, man. T-1000 was
<v Speaker 1>pretty cool. And then, of course, the main female protagonist.
<v Speaker 1>She was pretty badass. Linda Hamilton? If you had if
<v Speaker 1>he had lived, do you think Bray Wyatt and Bo
<v Speaker 1>Dallas's uncle Howdy would have won the tag team titles?
<v Speaker 1>I definitely think the two of them would have worked together.
<v Speaker 1>And yes, I think there's a very good chance they
<v Speaker 1>would have won the tag team titles. I think that
<v Speaker 1>was probably a dream of theirs. I don't remember if
<v Speaker 1>the two of them teamed up and won tag belts
<v Speaker 1>in like FCW. I don't remember. Michael Jackson brought WCW
<v Speaker 1>in two, Wait, Michael Jackson, what if Michael Jackson bought
<v Speaker 1>WCW in 2001? Where'd that come from? Why the hell
<v Speaker 1>would he buy WCW? That was very random. Joseph, thank you.
<v Speaker 1>I think Joseph's been, it's not even Christmas. I think
<v Speaker 1>Joseph's hitting the eggnog a little early. The Sheltered Kid.
<v Speaker 1>Because I was born in 05, how big was Chris Benoit? Well, physically,
<v Speaker 1>he was bigger than he should have been. Because he
<v Speaker 1>was taking stuff he shouldn't have been taking. But I
<v Speaker 1>assume you mean, how big was he in terms of
<v Speaker 1>a star? He was not like an A-list wrestler. He
<v Speaker 1>was known as a great technician in the ring. Very
<v Speaker 1>intense person. He had great wrestling matches over the course
<v Speaker 1>of his career, but he was not on the level
<v Speaker 1>of like a Shawn Michaels or The Rock or, you know,
<v Speaker 1>people like that. Undertaker. He was one level below that.
<v Speaker 1>But he was, you know, for that time period, he
<v Speaker 1>was a big name. You know, world champion. Wrestled with
<v Speaker 1>all the top names. Dry Chicken says, rest in peace
<v Speaker 1>to Pharaoh Rhodes, one of the biggest baby face dogs
<v Speaker 1>in pro wrestling. Pharaoh was 13. The McMahon family is
<v Speaker 1>so strange. Cody Rhodes teasing a heel turn is John
<v Speaker 1>Cena 2011 all over again. Oh, well. Yeah, I don't
<v Speaker 1>think we're getting any Cody heel turn anytime soon. WWE
<v Speaker 1>and Disney having a collaboration coming. WWE TV PG programming
<v Speaker 1>is going to turn to TVG quickly. Well, that's not
<v Speaker 1>what it means, but it is very funny when you
<v Speaker 1>think about all of the different possibilities. Get ready for
<v Speaker 1>more Dan Housen. Aaron says Nikki and Paige's match needed
<v Speaker 1>that old divas stopwatch. Dude, that was an old divas
<v Speaker 1>era match. They basically did nothing and it went three minutes.
<v Speaker 1>And nobody asked for the Divas Era to come back.
<v Speaker 1>I am certain if you were to ask those two women,
<v Speaker 1>would you like to have more time to put your
<v Speaker 1>match together, the answer would be yes. But again, I
<v Speaker 1>assume it's going to come soon because they're going to
<v Speaker 1>have to do some sort of stipulation. The Dixon is
<v Speaker 1>with us. See, you thought you were going to get me.
<v Speaker 1>You're not going to get me. I'm too slick for you.
<v Speaker 1>But he says, aw, dude. Thank you, Dixon. Appreciate it. Oh,
<v Speaker 1>my God. Look at these two. Look at these top two.
<v Speaker 1>We go from the Dixon Cider to Give Me Backshot
<v Speaker 1>Solid Monster. I ought to introduce the two of you.
<v Speaker 1>I think you may hit it off. Went from women
<v Speaker 1>having banger title matches, a.k.a. Bianca, EO, Bailey, Rhea, Charlotte, Asuka,
<v Speaker 1>just a few years ago, to Chelsea Green versus Nia Jax.
<v Speaker 1>And you forgot Paige against Nikki Bella. Yeah, it's pretty bad.
<v Speaker 1>It's pretty bad. Johnny Bernie, this is how they get
<v Speaker 1>out of doing Punk and Roman at Saudi. Yes. Always
<v Speaker 1>possible that Punk could get the belt back before them,
<v Speaker 1>but right now at this moment they don't have to
<v Speaker 1>worry about running that back again if that's something they
<v Speaker 1>didn't want to do they just got out of it
<v Speaker 1>Super Pony with a 9.99 so happy for Sammy his
<v Speaker 1>only world title reign being 9 days with no defenses
<v Speaker 1>would have been a slap in the face to well
<v Speaker 1>he did defend he did What do you mean no defenses?
<v Speaker 1>He defended it once, and he lost. But if Sammy
<v Speaker 1>can win it twice, there's absolutely no reason, he says,
<v Speaker 1>that Kevin Owens can't. Well, I'll say this. If they
<v Speaker 1>don't just run it back in a few weeks just
<v Speaker 1>to have Punk, you know, win it back, Kevin Owens,
<v Speaker 1>if he makes it into Money in the Bank, you
<v Speaker 1>would think, would have to be one of the favorites. Sure,
<v Speaker 1>Braun Breaker is probably... most people's favorite to win the
<v Speaker 1>men's money in the bank, but Kevin Owens has to
<v Speaker 1>be in that conversation now. DMT51, crazy to see Sammy
<v Speaker 1>become a two-time WWE champion. I really feel like this
<v Speaker 1>is going to lead to KO beating Sammy for his
<v Speaker 1>first championship. Maybe. Maybe. I try not to get my
<v Speaker 1>hopes up too much with this company, especially with certain people.
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Owens, LA Knight. Very easy to fall into that trap.
<v Speaker 1>We got Ragnarok with a five. Says, was hoping that
<v Speaker 1>it was just going to be a crash ending leading
<v Speaker 1>to Armageddon hell in a cell, but I'll happily take
<v Speaker 1>a Sami Zayn win. Well, I just gave you an
<v Speaker 1>idea to kind of do something similar. Rizzo. Says, Sami
<v Speaker 1>wins the title. I'll check back with WWE when he
<v Speaker 1>loses it. Not a fan. Rizzo is not a fan
<v Speaker 1>of Sami Zayn winning the championship back. Eric the Sean.
<v Speaker 1>What do you call a sleepwalking nun? A roaming Catholic.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you, Eric. Thank you for the 10. That was
<v Speaker 1>a good one. James Crawford. This is from earlier when
<v Speaker 1>he dropped those back-to-back, the 30 spot and the $ 100 bomb.
<v Speaker 1>so good I had to read them earlier James again
<v Speaker 1>thank you I appreciate all the love and support very
<v Speaker 1>much Ronnie's stage with the $ 9. 99 first ever super chat
<v Speaker 1>to any channel I love the streams and wanted to
<v Speaker 1>show support I was recently diagnosed with congestive heart failure
<v Speaker 1>but I feel thankful for life and thankful for my
<v Speaker 1>family Well, brother, I am very sorry to hear that.
<v Speaker 1>That is a very serious diagnosis, obviously. My grandmother actually
<v Speaker 1>suffered from that. And Siri is talking to me for
<v Speaker 1>some reason. As soon as I said the word serious,
<v Speaker 1>Siri popped up on my phone and interrupted it precisely
<v Speaker 1>the wrong moment here. So I apologize. But first of all,
<v Speaker 1>I just want to say thank you very much for
<v Speaker 1>the love and for being a part of the streams
<v Speaker 1>and I hope that I mean again I don't know
<v Speaker 1>how you're being treated at the moment but hopefully you
<v Speaker 1>are being treated as best you can and hopefully you
<v Speaker 1>are with us for quite some time to come that's
<v Speaker 1>what I would say you got a lot of people
<v Speaker 1>here who are rooting for you I know that because
<v Speaker 1>that is no joke Broly 7. You watch NXT and
<v Speaker 1>AAA and you see how much of a big difference
<v Speaker 1>having good producers can make even with the worst wrestlers. Absolutely.
<v Speaker 1>They absolutely have an impact on things. Hey EJ, thank you.
<v Speaker 1>sending in that super chat. And then we have Kiyoi.
<v Speaker 1>I thought they said K-Joy, which is a radio station
<v Speaker 1>here in New York. I had to look at that again.
<v Speaker 1>And I noticed we just hit the goal. We just
<v Speaker 1>hit the bonus goal, which means we are guaranteed... At
<v Speaker 1>least one round of Be The Booker. I am looking,
<v Speaker 1>and actually we just hit 400 plus likes, which means
<v Speaker 1>you get two rounds. It's always a good night when
<v Speaker 1>you can get a double dose of Be The Booker.
<v Speaker 1>All right, let's continue on with these here. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know why I switched away. KM Truth, to follow up
<v Speaker 1>on your Raw reviews from this week about the Faction
<v Speaker 1>946 name, It came from the first three numbers of
<v Speaker 1>the zip codes for Oakland. It's not the area code
<v Speaker 1>of the city. It's five. Well, that's what I said. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I said it's not the area code. So my assumption
<v Speaker 1>and I didn't know this. My assumption was maybe it
<v Speaker 1>had something to do with the zip codes. That's that's
<v Speaker 1>what I said. But now you're confirming that it is.
<v Speaker 1>So that makes sense. Because that was the first thing
<v Speaker 1>I did when I first started hearing about this 946 name.
<v Speaker 1>I looked it up and I'm like, well, that's not
<v Speaker 1>the area code. Bones Jones says, where were you on
<v Speaker 1>that bad day, Salamonster? I had just woken up that day.
<v Speaker 1>And I was getting ready to start my day and
<v Speaker 1>head out. And I had the TV. This was back
<v Speaker 1>during a period where I usually had like Good Morning,
<v Speaker 1>I think I had Good Morning America on at like,
<v Speaker 1>you know, 8 in the morning. Because I think the
<v Speaker 1>first plane hit at like 847? 848? So I was
<v Speaker 1>watching that and, you know, as with I'm sure everybody,
<v Speaker 1>when you first hear the news, you're thinking, man, how
<v Speaker 1>does that pilot make that kind of mistake? How do
<v Speaker 1>you fly into one of the World Trade Center buildings. Like,
<v Speaker 1>how does that even happen? So you think it's just
<v Speaker 1>a horrible accident. And then when the second plane hit,
<v Speaker 1>which was airing live on TV, because they had television
<v Speaker 1>helicopters that were focused on the Twin Towers, all the
<v Speaker 1>smoke was billowing out. And then you can see that
<v Speaker 1>there's a black plane in the background. And then the
<v Speaker 1>second building explodes. And then your heart just sinks. Because
<v Speaker 1>at that point, you know, reality sets in like, oh, okay,
<v Speaker 1>this is not a mistake. This is not an accident.
<v Speaker 1>And now your mind is racing with how many more
<v Speaker 1>planes are up in the air right now that could potentially,
<v Speaker 1>you know, be slammed into buildings. So it was very,
<v Speaker 1>very scary. It was a very surreal experience. Um, I
<v Speaker 1>wasn't in the city that day, so I wasn't, I
<v Speaker 1>wasn't worried about my safety, but you immediately start to
<v Speaker 1>think about, wait, you know, do I have any friends
<v Speaker 1>or family who were in that area? Um, Because I
<v Speaker 1>had been in the World Trade Center not long before
<v Speaker 1>that for something. But your mind just starts to race
<v Speaker 1>with all sorts of things. And you want to call
<v Speaker 1>people and find out where they are. And are you
<v Speaker 1>seeing this? It was crazy. It was very, very scary.
<v Speaker 1>Venom Kitetsu with a 14 was 13 and in middle school.
<v Speaker 1>Parents watching the, uh, parents watching the news when I
<v Speaker 1>went to the bus, heard it through on the bus radio,
<v Speaker 1>watched it live in each class that day and the
<v Speaker 1>fallout for the rest of the week. Yeah. Well, I
<v Speaker 1>was actually on my way, uh, to, to class. I
<v Speaker 1>was on my way to, I don't know. I think
<v Speaker 1>it was one of my journalism classes. And, um, So
<v Speaker 1>I left to go head over there to that building.
<v Speaker 1>And in that building, because it was the communications building,
<v Speaker 1>so they had TVs mounted on the walls and everybody
<v Speaker 1>is just, you know, standing around looking up at the
<v Speaker 1>TVs like zombies. Everyone is just transfixed, you know, on
<v Speaker 1>the TVs. But I remember I went in and the
<v Speaker 1>class was canceled because the professor, his sister worked. In
<v Speaker 1>one of the buildings. His sister ended up being killed.
<v Speaker 1>In the attacks. But. At that moment. He was in
<v Speaker 1>a panic. Because he didn't know where she was. So
<v Speaker 1>he cancelled the class. Which everybody understood. Of course everybody.
<v Speaker 1>I mean. I think every class got cancelled that morning. And.
<v Speaker 1>So that's. That's. Where I was headed. And then I
<v Speaker 1>just headed right back. Right back to my room. So.
<v Speaker 1>So I wasn't even like around my family or anything
<v Speaker 1>that day. I was kind of by myself. Which. Was
<v Speaker 1>not really. You know. You don't want to be by yourself,
<v Speaker 1>I think, in a situation like that, but... could have
<v Speaker 1>been worse Super Pony says Sammy beats Punk again at
<v Speaker 1>Worlds Collide Punk takes time off as he's not advertised
<v Speaker 1>for money in the bank we get Sammy versus KO
<v Speaker 1>one-on-one at Money in the Bank. KO finally wins the belt.
<v Speaker 1>Roman versus KO at Crown Jewel. What are your thoughts? Boy,
<v Speaker 1>we're really playing hot potato with this belt, aren't we?
<v Speaker 1>We're just going to move the belt again in a
<v Speaker 1>few weeks. Roman and KO, only if KO wins. I
<v Speaker 1>think Kevin Owens lost enough matches to Roman Reigns. What
<v Speaker 1>I don't need to see is him go in there
<v Speaker 1>and lose again. Holiday 197. Hey, Solo. Finally, some unpredictability
<v Speaker 1>in the WWE title picture. Do you see Sammy holding
<v Speaker 1>the belt until WrestleMania in Saudi? Maybe defending against Owens. Otherwise,
<v Speaker 1>let's hope he keeps it for a few months. I
<v Speaker 1>do not. I do not see him holding it for
<v Speaker 1>that long. Mikey G. I know I'm a couple of
<v Speaker 1>days late, but I wanted to contribute to Rebel. I
<v Speaker 1>did not listen to it live. Thank you for all
<v Speaker 1>that you do. Well, I appreciate that, Mikey. I did
<v Speaker 1>make a donation already the other day for those who
<v Speaker 1>may have missed it. We had a big turnout on
<v Speaker 1>Wednesday for the Dynamite stream in terms of support where
<v Speaker 1>all Super Chats were being donated to the organization IMALS
<v Speaker 1>and made the donation the next morning. I posted all
<v Speaker 1>the receipts and everything on social media, but we ended
<v Speaker 1>up giving And I covered also the transaction fees and
<v Speaker 1>everything so the organization doesn't have to. So the whole thing,
<v Speaker 1>all told, came out to almost $ 1, 350. So pretty damn good,
<v Speaker 1>I would say. It was very cool. So again, I
<v Speaker 1>want to thank everybody who contributed on Wednesday. Of course,
<v Speaker 1>I realized after the fact, after I was done, that
<v Speaker 1>YouTube has a separate, it's like a YouTube giving where
<v Speaker 1>you can set up an actual like fundraiser. So like
<v Speaker 1>100% of it will go towards where it needs to go.
<v Speaker 1>Whereas usually it's like a 70 30 split in favor
<v Speaker 1>of the creator. Um, so I covered, you know, the
<v Speaker 1>difference that they took and then gave my own, which
<v Speaker 1>I was planning on doing. And so the whole total
<v Speaker 1>came out to 1350. So Every little bit helps. If
<v Speaker 1>you want to go directly, anybody else, it's imals.org slash rebel.
<v Speaker 1>Or you can just go to imals.org if you want
<v Speaker 1>to donate. Joseph Brooks. Cherish, keep, borrow, and sell on
<v Speaker 1>the upper mid-card talents during the Attitude Era. Al Snow,
<v Speaker 1>D'Lo Brown, The Godfather, and Val Venus. I gotta cherish D'Lo, man.
<v Speaker 1>I was a big D'Lo Brown fan. He was a
<v Speaker 1>lot of fun. Very entertaining to watch. I will keep... Hmm.
<v Speaker 1>I'll keep Al Snow because all the comedy with head
<v Speaker 1>cheese with him and Blackman and all that. That was
<v Speaker 1>a lot of fun. I will borrow The Godfather. I
<v Speaker 1>will borrow The Hoes. And I will sell Val Venus.
<v Speaker 1>Because while I did get a kick out of his gimmick,
<v Speaker 1>when I compare it to every other person on this list,
<v Speaker 1>I had more fun watching them than I did him.
<v Speaker 1>Holiday says predicting it will be Sammy versus Punk versus
<v Speaker 1>Owens in a triple threat match for the WWE Championship
<v Speaker 1>at Money in the Bank with Sammy retaining by capitalizing. Well,
<v Speaker 1>as was just mentioned, Punk is not currently advertised for
<v Speaker 1>Money in the Bank, which doesn't mean they can't add
<v Speaker 1>him to the show. But they released his schedule weeks ago.
<v Speaker 1>They had a whole graphic on social media letting everybody
<v Speaker 1>know what his schedule from September going into October was
<v Speaker 1>going to look like. Yeah, Money in the Bank is
<v Speaker 1>not on that list. So at least as of this moment,
<v Speaker 1>Punk is not scheduled to be on that show. Roman, however, is,
<v Speaker 1>which is why we're probably going to get the match
<v Speaker 1>on that show between Roman and LA Knight for the
<v Speaker 1>World Heavyweight Championship. Of course, first he has to get
<v Speaker 1>through Penta. Assuming he can get through Penta and Mexico City,
<v Speaker 1>then Roman will be defending against LA Knight on that show.
<v Speaker 1>You're looking at the real deal now. Nobody can do
<v Speaker 1>that head wiggle that D'Lo used to do, man. I'm
<v Speaker 1>surprised he didn't break his neck doing that. D'Lo and
<v Speaker 1>his chest protector, man. EJ Slemp going to Notre Dame
<v Speaker 1>Rice tomorrow in South Bend. Fun fact, Hart Foundation versus
<v Speaker 1>British Bulldogs on Saturday night's main event happened right on
<v Speaker 1>Notre Dame's campus. I did not know that. What year
<v Speaker 1>would that have been? Did they have that match in 87?
<v Speaker 1>Had to be 87, right? They just uploaded to the
<v Speaker 1>vault not too long ago a Saturday night's main event
<v Speaker 1>match between the Hart Foundation and Demolition. What are your
<v Speaker 1>thoughts on the current trend of wins coming off distractions
<v Speaker 1>and ref bumps resulting in very formulaic finishes? Are clean
<v Speaker 1>pins that bad? Yeah, I don't like how many of
<v Speaker 1>them that we're getting. I mean, in certain situations, I
<v Speaker 1>don't mind it because it kind of makes sense. But
<v Speaker 1>they do it so much. It's gotten very, very bad.
<v Speaker 1>So I'm not a fan of it personally. Again, in
<v Speaker 1>certain instances, like tonight, it didn't bother me too much,
<v Speaker 1>but because they do it so fucking much, it's very annoying.
<v Speaker 1>I do wish we would get more clean finishes. Duff's Vids,
<v Speaker 1>what do you call a blonde in the closet? Last
<v Speaker 1>year's hide-and-seek champion. I am personally offended by that. Isaac.
<v Speaker 1>Did you hear that Edge is writing a second book? Well,
<v Speaker 1>I know now. Thank you, Isaac. G. Barry Free with
<v Speaker 1>a Canadian $ 6. 99. Do you think there's a chance Osprey's
<v Speaker 1>United Empire will be Seamus and Ilya? Well, you must
<v Speaker 1>have been listening to the Dynamite stream because those are
<v Speaker 1>the two names that I mentioned that I think would
<v Speaker 1>fit in perfectly. Actually, no, I take that back. I
<v Speaker 1>mentioned Ilya and I mentioned Kyle Fletcher. When he eventually
<v Speaker 1>breaks away from the Callis family, if there is an
<v Speaker 1>Osprey United Empire faction in AEW, since the two of
<v Speaker 1>them used to be best friends and all that, I
<v Speaker 1>could see him maybe linking back up with Osprey. Sheamus
<v Speaker 1>would be a great fit, though, too. I'd love to
<v Speaker 1>see that. October 1st. That is when Sheamus is officially
<v Speaker 1>a free agent. October 1st. And Alexander says terrorists tried
<v Speaker 1>bombing the Twin Towers were unsuccessful in 93, which was
<v Speaker 1>nuts too. Yeah, that was in the basement. Yeah, that
<v Speaker 1>wasn't even the first time the towers were attacked. And
<v Speaker 1>thankfully in 93, they were not successful. The idea that
<v Speaker 1>they were able to kind of run it back and
<v Speaker 1>have the success that they did the second time is unforgivable. inconceivable,
<v Speaker 1>and unforgivable. Oh, man. I want to thank you guys
<v Speaker 1>for bearing with me here. I make sure I don't,
<v Speaker 1>you know, cough or sneeze into the... I am under
<v Speaker 1>the weather. You may have seen my little tweet from earlier.
<v Speaker 1>I was amused when I was supposed to get a
<v Speaker 1>prescription filled today. That very likely would have helped me
<v Speaker 1>get over this a hell of a lot quicker because...
<v Speaker 1>It worked wonders for me a couple of years ago,
<v Speaker 1>and it was $ 0. And then my doctor called in
<v Speaker 1>the prescription today and come to find out that it's
<v Speaker 1>not covered, and if I want it, $ 1, 200. I said,
<v Speaker 1>I think I'll pass. I think I'll pass. I'll gut
<v Speaker 1>it out and go it alone. And I'm not doing
<v Speaker 1>too well. But we got through the reviews, so All
<v Speaker 1>is good. All is good. Luis. A friend of my
<v Speaker 1>brother's was killed in the 9-11 attacks. We can tell
<v Speaker 1>when your hair is down. Yeah. I guess that is
<v Speaker 1>kind of a giveaway. When I'm sick and I'm not
<v Speaker 1>feeling well, I don't give a shit. I just leave
<v Speaker 1>it alone. Is that the signal that Solid Monster is
<v Speaker 1>not feeling well? When the hair is just flat? Oh, man. Anyway,
<v Speaker 1>Luis doesn't friend of my brother's was killed in the
<v Speaker 1>9-11 attacks. I was here in LA at Alexandria Avenue
<v Speaker 1>when I found out a few hours after the fact
<v Speaker 1>fifth grade me had gotten back from New York three
<v Speaker 1>weeks before. That's terrible. I do feel like And maybe
<v Speaker 1>it's different for me being in New York, but there
<v Speaker 1>were so many people who knew someone who was there
<v Speaker 1>that day. I had a cousin who was supposed to
<v Speaker 1>be there that day. And I think, I'm trying to
<v Speaker 1>remember what it was, if he just overslept or just
<v Speaker 1>decided not to go into work that day. That's probably
<v Speaker 1>the only thing that saved his life. Otherwise, he would
<v Speaker 1>have been in one of the towers that day. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know on what floor, but I don't think it
<v Speaker 1>would have mattered. I don't think he was on one
<v Speaker 1>of the ground floors. So imagine if you're someone in
<v Speaker 1>that position where it's like, yeah, I just, I wasn't
<v Speaker 1>feeling well, or I just, you know, didn't feel like
<v Speaker 1>going in that day. And something like that happens. Or
<v Speaker 1>if you knew people, coworkers, colleagues, you know, whatever the
<v Speaker 1>case may be, who, you know, who, who perished in that.
<v Speaker 1>Just awful. Yeah, Zelina Vega, her father passed away as
<v Speaker 1>well in the attacks. It's just awful. Anyway, Luis, thank
<v Speaker 1>you for chiming in here. Joseph Stewart. Hello, Salamonster. I'm back.
<v Speaker 1>Just got done watching Terminator 2. Now I'm watching Last
<v Speaker 1>Action Hero. Have a good night. Oh my God, Last
<v Speaker 1>Action Hero. I watched Last Action Hero when it first
<v Speaker 1>came out. I've never had any desire to go back
<v Speaker 1>and watch it again. I do remember in that movie, though,
<v Speaker 1>the golden ticket. I remember that. G. Barry Free, man,
<v Speaker 1>I should have asked my previous dono on Wednesday. Thank
<v Speaker 1>you so much for doing that AEW stream. Yeah, I mean, again,
<v Speaker 1>I really was blown away by all of the support.
<v Speaker 1>It was very, very cool to see on Wednesday. Bazinga.
<v Speaker 1>As long as what you have is viral and not
<v Speaker 1>an infection, overload on vitamin C and it will help immensely. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I had a, I had an instinct. I just wasn't
<v Speaker 1>feeling right. You know, last night out of nowhere, I
<v Speaker 1>was fine up until, like, after dinner last night. And
<v Speaker 1>I was actually like, man, this is great. I came
<v Speaker 1>home from L.A. You know, sometimes you fly or whatever.
<v Speaker 1>You're around a lot of people, like the arena, because
<v Speaker 1>we had House of Glory and everything. And I'm, like,
<v Speaker 1>in close contact with people. You get sick. You get, like,
<v Speaker 1>a cold or something, right? I came back here to
<v Speaker 1>New York on Saturday. And I'm like, all right, it's
<v Speaker 1>been almost a week. I think we're good. I'm feeling
<v Speaker 1>pretty good. And then last night, I'm like, fuck, I
<v Speaker 1>think I'm getting a cold. I woke up today, and again,
<v Speaker 1>I had plans for this weekend and was going to
<v Speaker 1>get together with family over the weekend. And I said,
<v Speaker 1>you know, I think I need to go test. And
<v Speaker 1>so I did. $ 22 fucking dollars to buy a test.
<v Speaker 1>And sure enough, there's that little line. I'm like, son
<v Speaker 1>of a bitch. Son of a bitch. Yeah, well, even
<v Speaker 1>woo-wings is not going to help me. I'm like, motherfucker.
<v Speaker 1>Had to cancel a whole bunch of stuff. Anyway. Woe
<v Speaker 1>is me. EJ Slemp. At 13, my family took a
<v Speaker 1>road trip, and one day we saw the Kent State Campus,
<v Speaker 1>or on-campus memorial, Flight 93 crash site, and Gettysburg. I
<v Speaker 1>will never forget it. Those are certainly three, you know,
<v Speaker 1>big places to visit. Salomonster is pregnant? Yeah, right. That
<v Speaker 1>would be something else. I would make history. COVID sucks, though,
<v Speaker 1>I'll tell you that. Always kicks my ass. I smoke
<v Speaker 1>a lot of weed. Hey, maybe that would help. I
<v Speaker 1>don't usually do that, but maybe that would help. RIP
<v Speaker 1>to my friend Charlie. It's been a year. Rest in
<v Speaker 1>peace to Charlie. Sorry you lost your friend. Sorry, brother. Breadheart.
<v Speaker 1>9-11 is infamous here in Chile. That's what I was
<v Speaker 1>going to fucking mention. Is the anniversary of the military
<v Speaker 1>coup by Pinochet backed up by the CIA and the
<v Speaker 1>Nixon administration in 1973? Interesting. Well, I was going to say,
<v Speaker 1>you reminded me, I was going to mention something earlier.
<v Speaker 1>There is breaking news from Adam Pearce. Right before I
<v Speaker 1>went live, there was breaking news that tomorrow on the
<v Speaker 1>WWE live event in Santiago, Chile, Stephanie Viqueur is going
<v Speaker 1>to get a rematch with Liv Morgan because apparently they
<v Speaker 1>had a match, I think, tonight. Was it tonight or
<v Speaker 1>last night at some other event? And there was interference
<v Speaker 1>and bullshit. So tomorrow in Chile, which of course is
<v Speaker 1>where Stephanie is from, this is a homecoming for her.
<v Speaker 1>She will be wrestling Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship.
<v Speaker 1>And this time, Becky Lynch will be the special guest referee.
<v Speaker 1>I think there's a very good chance that they may
<v Speaker 1>do a title change on that live event tomorrow. They're
<v Speaker 1>going to be in Stephanie's home country. Everybody is going
<v Speaker 1>to be waiting to see her. Becky's going to be
<v Speaker 1>the referee. Now, Becky and Stephanie, there's been tension there
<v Speaker 1>between them now for a while, but I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I think there's a very good chance we may get
<v Speaker 1>a title change tomorrow. So that was breaking news here
<v Speaker 1>before I went on the air. I smoke a lot
<v Speaker 1>of weed. Try Hawaiian hot chicken next time that you
<v Speaker 1>are in LA. I would love to. I just, I
<v Speaker 1>had no time there. It was a hit and run.
<v Speaker 1>I got in the day of, I did the show
<v Speaker 1>and I had like a fucking 5.30 a.m. flight. I
<v Speaker 1>was in and out because I had a podcast to
<v Speaker 1>do when I came home. I had no time to
<v Speaker 1>do anything. 17,000 attendants tomorrow. Show sold out in 15 minutes. Yeah, well,
<v Speaker 1>one of the reasons I'm sure that happened was because
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie Viqueur was all over the advertising for that show.
<v Speaker 1>That's why I think very good chance we get a
<v Speaker 1>title change tomorrow. And Venom Kitetsu, Hot Toddy. Yeah. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know. I'm trying stuff, but it ain't working. I'll
<v Speaker 1>tell you what does work, though. We hit the likes
<v Speaker 1>goal earlier, and we hit the bonus goal. And now
<v Speaker 1>it is time to go ahead and enter the realm
<v Speaker 1>of Be The Booker. And I know you're all very
<v Speaker 1>excited for this, so let's not waste any more time.
<v Speaker 1>It is time to Be The Booker. Ladies and gentlemen,
<v Speaker 1>it is now time to be the Booker. This is
<v Speaker 1>the main event of the evening. I smoke a lot
<v Speaker 1>of Weezes. Copan Ramen as well, both in Northridge. You're
<v Speaker 1>suggesting all these L.A. places. I'm in L.A. like four
<v Speaker 1>times a year. For like six hours, and then I leave. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Be the Booker making you feel better solo. I hope so.
<v Speaker 1>I haven't spun yet, so I can't say for sure.
<v Speaker 1>This could end up being a total disaster. Let's hope not.
<v Speaker 1>Is Lil Yachty in Be the Booker? He is not.
<v Speaker 1>Should I add him? Do people want him in there?
<v Speaker 1>Because if you want him in there, I'll add him
<v Speaker 1>in there. Well, Lil Yachty is not in there, but
<v Speaker 1>Grandmaster Sexay and Scotty Too Hotty, they are in there.
<v Speaker 1>Too cool. They are in the Be The Booker tag
<v Speaker 1>team division. They will be stepping into the ring with
<v Speaker 1>The Godwins, Henry, and Phineas Hogg and Pig. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>that's a pre-show match if I've ever seen one. I
<v Speaker 1>can't have that on my main card. I'm sorry. That's unacceptable.
<v Speaker 1>That was an instant buzz. All right, women's be the booker.
<v Speaker 1>We got Toni Storm. Man, what the hell happened to
<v Speaker 1>Toni Storm? She just disappeared off the face of the earth.
<v Speaker 1>No one talks about her. No one's heard from her
<v Speaker 1>on social media. She just vanished. We got her back
<v Speaker 1>here in Be the Booker. Toni Storm is going to
<v Speaker 1>be taking on Shotzi. Look at that tank. I like
<v Speaker 1>that skull. Toni Storm and Shotzi, and I gotta say,
<v Speaker 1>I gotta show some love. She is the reigning HOG
<v Speaker 1>Women's Champion. I believe she's a champion in MLW as well.
<v Speaker 1>She's been killing it on the independent scene. And then
<v Speaker 1>men's be the booker. A terrible commissioner I would be
<v Speaker 1>if I gave a thumbs down to my rating women's champion.
<v Speaker 1>All right, main event. Our first of two main events.
<v Speaker 1>We have the former Ring of Honor and CMLL world
<v Speaker 1>champion Claudio Castagnoli. Claudio in the main event. You know,
<v Speaker 1>there were people years ago clamoring for that. How come
<v Speaker 1>Cesaro is not in the main event? Wow. Claudio against
<v Speaker 1>old school nature boy. Ric Flair. Man, the tag team
<v Speaker 1>match ruined what would have been a sweep. But that's okay,
<v Speaker 1>because like TripleMania this weekend, this is only night one.
<v Speaker 1>We do have a night two. You guys hit the goal,
<v Speaker 1>the bonus goal, which means we have one more show.
<v Speaker 1>So we're not done yet. See, that's why it's important
<v Speaker 1>to hit the goal, because now we get a second
<v Speaker 1>bite at the apple here. Tribal Combat. Tribal Combat. Is
<v Speaker 1>what is kicking us off. More bloodline. Are you tired
<v Speaker 1>of it yet? Well, you're going to get more. Sorry. Now,
<v Speaker 1>what are the rules for tribal combat? I always forget
<v Speaker 1>the rules. Is it basically just a no disqualification match?
<v Speaker 1>Or is it like no family allowed to interfere? I
<v Speaker 1>always forget what the exact rules are for tribal combat.
<v Speaker 1>El Grande Americano, the OG El Grande Americano, is going
<v Speaker 1>to be in tribal combat. No interference is what Naft
<v Speaker 1>Gaming says. So that means that the Americanos will not
<v Speaker 1>be allowed to interfere. Oh, El Grande Americano against Kurtz. Angle,
<v Speaker 1>I tell you what, no interference is needed. I don't
<v Speaker 1>want anybody interfering in this match. Kurt Angle and Chad
<v Speaker 1>Gable in tribal combat. Shut it down. I don't think
<v Speaker 1>we're topping this one. The man who should have been,
<v Speaker 1>Kurt Angle's son. I could shut this whole thing down now.
<v Speaker 1>There's going to be no topping that. God, can you
<v Speaker 1>imagine prime Kurt Angle, like in his physical prime? So
<v Speaker 1>let's go back to like 2002. 2002, 2003, Kurt. In Monterey,
<v Speaker 1>in front of that crowd that Gable wrestled in front
<v Speaker 1>of back in May against Kaiser. Wrestling Gable in Mexico
<v Speaker 1>in front of that crowd. Holy shit. All right, our
<v Speaker 1>second match is going to be Intergender. There's Penta. There's
<v Speaker 1>your potential future World Heavyweight Champion right there. In fact,
<v Speaker 1>I believe the woman that he is pressing over his
<v Speaker 1>head is Io Shirai, if I'm not mistaken. All right.
<v Speaker 1>Intergender match. So we will actually, you know, we'll pick
<v Speaker 1>the female participant first. On one side, Kairi Sane. who
<v Speaker 1>is said to be, per Fightful, in talks with AEW
<v Speaker 1>about potentially coming in. Kairi needs an opponent. Brock Lesnar
<v Speaker 1>is trembling in fear at the prospect of wrestling Kairi
<v Speaker 1>Sane in this match. Kairi Sane against the bad guy,
<v Speaker 1>Razor Ramon. I did read something earlier that apparently... His
<v Speaker 1>ex-wife was on a podcast spilling some tea and spreading
<v Speaker 1>all kinds of gossip about him and their son. I
<v Speaker 1>didn't get the whole chapter and verse, but it wasn't...
<v Speaker 1>It wasn't anything pleasant that she was talking about. That
<v Speaker 1>would be Dana Hall. But anyway, Razor Ramon and Kairi Sane.
<v Speaker 1>Who do you got? Who's your money on in that match?
<v Speaker 1>I think I might have to go Kairi in this match.
<v Speaker 1>She is not one to be fucked with. Can you
<v Speaker 1>imagine Kairi taking a Razor's Edge? Well, have you seen
<v Speaker 1>Kairi take one from Rhea Ripley? Poor woman gets folded up.
<v Speaker 1>The better question is, can you imagine Razor Ramon taking
<v Speaker 1>one of those flying elbow drops. All right, we got
<v Speaker 1>one more match. It is a blindfold match. Damn. That's
<v Speaker 1>not what I wanted. All right, well, you take what
<v Speaker 1>you can get here. We got a blindfold match. I
<v Speaker 1>guess we're going... We'll just do a men's main event. Okay.
<v Speaker 1>It all boils down to this. We have... Adam Copeland. Cope,
<v Speaker 1>as he calls himself. It's too bad Christian doesn't call
<v Speaker 1>himself Seed. Cope and Seed. Cope is in the main event.
<v Speaker 1>Which probably means he's going over. Because he always does. So.
<v Speaker 1>Let's find out who's doing the J-O-B to Adam Copeland.
<v Speaker 1>The Fiend. Bray Wyatt. Bray Wyatt. In a blindfold match.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like him wrestling in that mask was basically
<v Speaker 1>wrestling in a blindfold. I believe that was a clean sweep.
<v Speaker 1>I was so stunned by this match. There was a
<v Speaker 1>little delay there. Clean sweep, baby. We didn't do it
<v Speaker 1>in the first round, but we managed to pull it
<v Speaker 1>off in round number two. Better late than never. And
<v Speaker 1>Alexander with the final super chat here. Bloodline versus the
<v Speaker 1>Thug Line for War Games. Yeah, I don't think they're
<v Speaker 1>going to call them that. Can you imagine the outrage
<v Speaker 1>on social media? How dare they call them that? Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>that's probably what War Games will end up being. It'll
<v Speaker 1>be some combination of that. I could see a third team.
<v Speaker 1>I could see Bloodline, 946, and then like a clear
<v Speaker 1>babyface team. But I don't know. I don't know. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not going to book war games that far in advance
<v Speaker 1>outside of my little idea from earlier about the WWE Championship,
<v Speaker 1>which I'm sure will not happen. I'm not looking forward
<v Speaker 1>to this weekend. It's going to be rough. But there
<v Speaker 1>will be a podcast. I can't guarantee you how I'm
<v Speaker 1>going to sound, but there will be a podcast on Sunday.
<v Speaker 1>We'll talk all the news of the week, episode 980.
<v Speaker 1>And then on Monday, we have the Raw post show
<v Speaker 1>from Mexico City, Roman and Penta for the World Heavyweight Championship.
<v Speaker 1>So that's going to be a big episode of Raw
<v Speaker 1>with a hot crowd. Big main event. Can't wait to
<v Speaker 1>see it. Be well. Stay safe. Have yourselves a great
<v Speaker 1>rest of your night and a great weekend. And as
<v Speaker 1>I said at the beginning, we certainly will always remember
<v Speaker 1>what this day means. 25 years later, pretty crazy. But
<v Speaker 1>one thing I will certainly say from my end, it
<v Speaker 1>might have been 25 years, but it is not forgotten.
<v Speaker 1>And neither are the people who lost their lives that day.
<v Speaker 1>Be well, guys. I'll see you back here on the
<v Speaker 1>stream on Monday night. Until then, take care.
