<v Speaker 1>15 years. It took 15 years for this company to
<v Speaker 1>bring Monday Night Raw back to Mexico City. I have
<v Speaker 1>no idea why. Having watched many shows over the last
<v Speaker 1>few days here from Mexico City, I don't think they
<v Speaker 1>will make that same mistake again, though. Not with the
<v Speaker 1>kind of reception that they got really after the entire
<v Speaker 1>weekend that they had. And look, running the same building
<v Speaker 1>three times in a 72 hour or so time span,
<v Speaker 1>it'd be very easy to burn these people out. When
<v Speaker 1>they get that many shows in a short period of time.
<v Speaker 1>But they were red hot for this show tonight. And
<v Speaker 1>in particular, they were red hot for that main event. Now,
<v Speaker 1>to me, one of the great success stories of WWE
<v Speaker 1>over the last couple of years has been the arrival
<v Speaker 1>of Penta. I've been a fan of his going back
<v Speaker 1>to the Lucha Underground days. I enjoyed the stuff he
<v Speaker 1>did in AEW, which was mostly tag team stuff with
<v Speaker 1>his brother. When he came over to WWE... I didn't
<v Speaker 1>know what to expect. You know, he's a talented guy.
<v Speaker 1>He's very, very charismatic. You would think, man, this guy
<v Speaker 1>can get over anywhere, right? And you go to a
<v Speaker 1>new place, different system, different way of doing things. You
<v Speaker 1>never know how things are going to turn out. And
<v Speaker 1>I've been very pleasantly surprised by how well he has
<v Speaker 1>done in the time that he has been in this
<v Speaker 1>company and how quickly, I wasn't surprised about how quickly
<v Speaker 1>the fans took to him. But they have gone all
<v Speaker 1>in on him. And he's had a lot of success.
<v Speaker 1>And he's been a pretty big part of the show.
<v Speaker 1>But we have yet to see him at the top
<v Speaker 1>level wrestling for a world championship, right? We've seen him
<v Speaker 1>with the Intercontinental title. We've seen him be a part
<v Speaker 1>of various things, but usually at a certain level. So
<v Speaker 1>when they announced this Lucha tournament, and we knew that
<v Speaker 1>he was going to be a part of it, there
<v Speaker 1>was really only one winner for this tournament, realistically. There
<v Speaker 1>was one name that really made sense. If you were
<v Speaker 1>going to send somebody to Mexico City to wrestle Roman Reigns, right,
<v Speaker 1>for the World Heavyweight Championship, you know, you're not going
<v Speaker 1>to send, all due respect to like Dragon Lee and
<v Speaker 1>Ray Phoenix and El Fiscal and, you know, some of
<v Speaker 1>these other people that were in this Lucha tournament. It
<v Speaker 1>had to be Penta. And so he wins the tournament.
<v Speaker 1>We now know this match is coming. It's been a
<v Speaker 1>few weeks now. It's been a long time since I've
<v Speaker 1>looked forward to a main event on this show. The
<v Speaker 1>way that I was looking forward to this match. For
<v Speaker 1>a lot of different reasons. For Roman Reigns, we don't
<v Speaker 1>get to see him defend any championship on television really
<v Speaker 1>at all. The last time we've seen him defend a
<v Speaker 1>world championship on TV, you'd have to go back over
<v Speaker 1>four years. Which, you know, in a way kind of
<v Speaker 1>makes it feel more special. But at the same time,
<v Speaker 1>it's like, come on, you can throw us a bone
<v Speaker 1>every now and then. It's okay to get a good
<v Speaker 1>TV title defense. And we've been getting a lot of
<v Speaker 1>that on SmackDown. But with Roman, it's a very rare thing. So...
<v Speaker 1>For him to come to Raw and defend the World
<v Speaker 1>Heavyweight Championship, people know, okay, this is going to be
<v Speaker 1>a big match. You factor in where you're going to be.
<v Speaker 1>Penta getting his first world title opportunity, and it made
<v Speaker 1>for this big fight feel. You see them tonight when
<v Speaker 1>they come out, the entrances. Penta literally rode a fucking
<v Speaker 1>horse to the building. He was riding in as the hero.
<v Speaker 1>Everybody in that building paid for a ticket. They wanted
<v Speaker 1>to see Raw. Penta win the World Heavyweight Championship. And,
<v Speaker 1>you know, when I look at this, my brain the
<v Speaker 1>entire time is telling me, there's no way Penta is
<v Speaker 1>winning this title. There's no way. And then WWE went
<v Speaker 1>and had Sami Zayn beat CM Punk on Friday in
<v Speaker 1>that very building for the WWE Championship. And then we
<v Speaker 1>see TripleMania last night. And Predictable, but still the right outcome,
<v Speaker 1>having El Grande Americano beat Dominic Mysterio to win the
<v Speaker 1>biggest title in all of AAA, right? The new AAA
<v Speaker 1>Mega Champion. Stephanie Viqueur in Chile the other night wins
<v Speaker 1>the Women's World Championship. Titles were changing hands over the
<v Speaker 1>last few days. And people were like, man, all they
<v Speaker 1>need to do, one more, right? One more. One more
<v Speaker 1>title change, and everybody in that building is going to
<v Speaker 1>lose their minds. Would it have made for a great moment? Absolutely.
<v Speaker 1>And to their credit, the two men who were in
<v Speaker 1>the ring tonight in that match, they had me hanging
<v Speaker 1>on to every near fall. I'm sure many of you
<v Speaker 1>as well. The people in that building, they were losing
<v Speaker 1>their fucking minds. Every near fall, every spear, every Superman punch,
<v Speaker 1>every Mexican destroyer, the fucking Penta driver, right? They were
<v Speaker 1>throwing everything at each other. And they had me buying
<v Speaker 1>into some of the near falls, but they had me
<v Speaker 1>also hoping, man, I would love to be wrong about this.
<v Speaker 1>What's the harm, right? What's the harm in having Pet
<v Speaker 1>to get a big win in his home country? But
<v Speaker 1>at the end of the day, you look at the
<v Speaker 1>big picture. And what have they been building up now
<v Speaker 1>for several weeks? Ever since SummerSlam. A match between Roman
<v Speaker 1>Reigns and LA Knight for the World Heavyweight Championship. Which
<v Speaker 1>I still feel like, again, the chances are very, very
<v Speaker 1>low that LA Knight is going to walk out as
<v Speaker 1>World Heavyweight Champion. But that clearly is the match they're
<v Speaker 1>building to for Money in the Bank. And I'm going
<v Speaker 1>to have news on that here in a moment. Because
<v Speaker 1>there was some stuff that happened when the show went
<v Speaker 1>off the air. And I said this coming into tonight,
<v Speaker 1>that if you are an LA Knight fan, the only
<v Speaker 1>outcome that you should be hoping for and rooting for
<v Speaker 1>tonight is Roman beating Penta. Because if it were to
<v Speaker 1>go any other way, whatever minuscule chance there is or
<v Speaker 1>was of LA Knight winning the world title would go
<v Speaker 1>out the window. Because there's no way. They're going to
<v Speaker 1>put the title on Penta even for a few weeks.
<v Speaker 1>And then turn right around to New Orleans next month
<v Speaker 1>and put the belt on LA Knight, right? That's just,
<v Speaker 1>it's not going to happen. So if you're an LA
<v Speaker 1>Knight fan, you have to be very happy with the
<v Speaker 1>way things played out tonight. But that's kind of the
<v Speaker 1>big picture view of what's going on here. And when
<v Speaker 1>you look at that and you look at the situation
<v Speaker 1>for what it is, this is Wrestling 101, right? They've
<v Speaker 1>done stuff like this since the dawn of time here
<v Speaker 1>in pro wrestling, where you come into the hometown and
<v Speaker 1>the hometown hero, He's going to get his shot. This
<v Speaker 1>is the way it used to work when Ric Flair
<v Speaker 1>was the traveling champion. And he would take that big
<v Speaker 1>gold belt all over the place and go from territory
<v Speaker 1>to territory and face whoever the big baby face was.
<v Speaker 1>And man, everybody in that building wanted to see that
<v Speaker 1>person walk out as the world champion. But at the
<v Speaker 1>end of the day, more often than not, it didn't
<v Speaker 1>work out that way. But they would sell a shitload
<v Speaker 1>of tickets. They would drum up all this interest and
<v Speaker 1>it would be a big time main event. That's all
<v Speaker 1>this was. They were going to Mexico. They wanted the
<v Speaker 1>strongest possible challenger that was going to resonate the most
<v Speaker 1>with that audience to go in there and give Roman
<v Speaker 1>Reigns the fight of his life, but at the end
<v Speaker 1>of the day, they would fall just a little bit short.
<v Speaker 1>Penta played his role perfectly tonight, but that's all it was.
<v Speaker 1>It was just, it was hope. It was hope, but
<v Speaker 1>at the end, it was foiled. Not the finish that
<v Speaker 1>the people in that building wanted. You could feel the
<v Speaker 1>air get sucked out of that arena as soon as
<v Speaker 1>the referee counted three. And Roman Reigns retained that World
<v Speaker 1>Heavyweight Championship. These people were not happy. But it was
<v Speaker 1>the ending that we all should have expected. Maybe not
<v Speaker 1>the one that, you know, a lot of people wanted,
<v Speaker 1>but it's the outcome that I don't know why anybody
<v Speaker 1>would have expected it to go any other way when
<v Speaker 1>you really think about where we're going here. You know,
<v Speaker 1>whether it's the stuff with 9-4-6 or LA Knight, you know,
<v Speaker 1>take it all together. They have bigger plans. Whether Roman's
<v Speaker 1>going to lose the belt anytime soon or not, they
<v Speaker 1>have bigger plans here than just Penta. The main event
<v Speaker 1>that we got tonight was excellent. It was everything I
<v Speaker 1>was hoping it would be. I fucking loved that match.
<v Speaker 1>Was it disappointing to see Penta lose? Sure, but that
<v Speaker 1>was the whole point, right? They wanted you to get
<v Speaker 1>wrapped up in it and then be disappointed when it
<v Speaker 1>was over. The people in this building, they knew the assignment.
<v Speaker 1>They booed the shit out of Roman Reigns when he
<v Speaker 1>came out. There was no ambiguity about, well, you know,
<v Speaker 1>he's kind of like, let's go Cena, Cena sucks, where
<v Speaker 1>it's like 50-50. No. From the moment his music hit
<v Speaker 1>to the moment he walked out to the moment he
<v Speaker 1>left to go right back from where he came, they
<v Speaker 1>booed this man. Because he's a fucking heel. And a
<v Speaker 1>lot of crowds in the States either don't realize it
<v Speaker 1>or they don't give a shit. They just want to
<v Speaker 1>show up and put their finger in the air and
<v Speaker 1>chant for the OTC. And hey, if you pay your
<v Speaker 1>money to go to the shows, by all means, cheer
<v Speaker 1>and chant for whoever you want to. But for the
<v Speaker 1>people in Mexico City, they knew this man is a heel.
<v Speaker 1>We don't like him. We want the other guy to win.
<v Speaker 1>And it just made for a really fun match. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know how long it was, probably like 20 minutes
<v Speaker 1>or close to 20 minutes. They gave them plenty of time.
<v Speaker 1>But I just, I love that main event. I can't
<v Speaker 1>say enough good things about it. Mexico City got some
<v Speaker 1>great wrestling over the last few days. Nothing as dramatic, though,
<v Speaker 1>as that main event tonight. I mentioned L.A. Knight. When
<v Speaker 1>the show went off the air, L.A. Knight came out
<v Speaker 1>to the ring. He confronted Roman Reigns. I believe he
<v Speaker 1>laid him out. I didn't see the footage yet. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>a BFT. But what I saw was Roman kind of
<v Speaker 1>slinking his way to the back, looking into the camera.
<v Speaker 1>He was all pissed off. And he said, you want it?
<v Speaker 1>Talking about L.A. Knight. Money in the Bank, New Orleans.
<v Speaker 1>He says he's going to whoop his bitch ass, so
<v Speaker 1>it is now official. We all kind of knew that
<v Speaker 1>it was trending that way for October 10th, but Money
<v Speaker 1>in the Bank, Roman Reigns, LA Knight, World Heavyweight Championship.
<v Speaker 1>If you thought the people in Mexico City were disappointed,
<v Speaker 1>I have a feeling the people in New Orleans are
<v Speaker 1>going to... going to know what that feeling is like
<v Speaker 1>come next month. But again, LA Knight fans should be
<v Speaker 1>very happy. He's finally going to get his opportunity. Once again,
<v Speaker 1>it's been a long time since we've seen him in
<v Speaker 1>the ring with Roman Reigns wrestling for a championship. When
<v Speaker 1>was the last time? It was four years ago? I
<v Speaker 1>think it was about four years ago. So he's going
<v Speaker 1>to get his shot at Money in the Bank. That
<v Speaker 1>was not the only great championship match that we had
<v Speaker 1>on this show. We had Chad Gable. We had Dragon
<v Speaker 1>Lee for the Intercontinental title. When I heard that this
<v Speaker 1>match was announced, I mean, it's impossible for these two
<v Speaker 1>to go out there and have a bad match. They
<v Speaker 1>had a fucking great match. And when it was over,
<v Speaker 1>nobody in that building, I think, was terribly disappointed with
<v Speaker 1>that outcome. Because, again, I mean, Dragon Lee would have
<v Speaker 1>been a nice moment for him. Sure, he would have
<v Speaker 1>gotten a great reaction. But they love Gable. You know,
<v Speaker 1>Gable's a made man down there as well, coming out
<v Speaker 1>of that mask match back in May that he had
<v Speaker 1>with Kaiser. So they just went out there, had a
<v Speaker 1>great wrestling match. Chad Gable, still the Intercontinental Champion. You
<v Speaker 1>got two pay-per-view quality matches just with those two matches alone.
<v Speaker 1>Nothing to complain about there. And then Money in the Bank,
<v Speaker 1>we had two more qualifying matches tonight. So far coming
<v Speaker 1>into this show, Bron Breaker and Sol Ruka were the
<v Speaker 1>only names who qualified. We got no qualifying matches on Friday.
<v Speaker 1>They'll get to do two more of them on SmackDown
<v Speaker 1>this week. But after the ones that we had tonight,
<v Speaker 1>the lineup for the men's match is now Braun Breaker
<v Speaker 1>and Javon Evans. And on the women's side, it is
<v Speaker 1>Sol Ruka and the debuting Lola Weiss. It was Weiss
<v Speaker 1>City tonight. She picked up a win, so she is
<v Speaker 1>going to Money in the Bank. So those are the
<v Speaker 1>only names we know so far. I think four more
<v Speaker 1>in the men's match, four more in the women's match.
<v Speaker 1>There was very little tonight in the way of backstage stuff.
<v Speaker 1>There were a few segments, but not very many of them,
<v Speaker 1>which was a-okay with me. I mean, it made for
<v Speaker 1>a much better show. The show flowed, you know, perfectly.
<v Speaker 1>We got more in-ring out of it. One of the
<v Speaker 1>best Raw shows of the entire year is what we
<v Speaker 1>got tonight. So let's talk about it. This is your
<v Speaker 1>WWE Raw Mexico City review. It is September 14th, 2026.
<v Speaker 1>I am the Solid Monster. Thank you guys for starting
<v Speaker 1>off your week with yours truly. I appreciate you being here.
<v Speaker 1>Like and subscribe. We got some new super chats in
<v Speaker 1>the description down below. Thank you to everybody who has
<v Speaker 1>already posted a message or a question. We'll be reading
<v Speaker 1>all of them as they come in. Got some new
<v Speaker 1>updates to Be The Booker as well. So hopefully we'll
<v Speaker 1>be doing that tonight. We'll bring up the wheel here
<v Speaker 1>to find out what the likes goal is. We got
<v Speaker 1>a bonus goal going in the chat as well. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>we end up doing multiple rounds. But let's see what
<v Speaker 1>the likes number is going to be for tonight. 465.
<v Speaker 1>So 465 likes is what we need for Be the Booker.
<v Speaker 1>The wheel has spoken. These are the raws we live for,
<v Speaker 1>says Wild Carlo. Are they? I live for these raws.
<v Speaker 1>You mean a really good episode of Raw? Sure. I
<v Speaker 1>don't disagree with you on that. I wish we had
<v Speaker 1>more of these. I can't even, like, heal on the cross. Like,
<v Speaker 1>people are going to say a lot of things. And
<v Speaker 1>I already saw some comments on X. But people are
<v Speaker 1>going to say things about, like, next week they're going
<v Speaker 1>to be in Texas. Oh, well, now we're going back
<v Speaker 1>to the States, right? It's Texas and then I think
<v Speaker 1>Wisconsin or whatever. And yeah, I mean, look, the reality
<v Speaker 1>is these U.S. crowds, they can't hold a candle to
<v Speaker 1>most of these international crowds. But it's been that way
<v Speaker 1>for a long time now. And there's a lot of
<v Speaker 1>reasons for that. There are weeks where I may look
<v Speaker 1>at these shows and go, man, this crowd is just,
<v Speaker 1>they're just not making any noise. It's like a fucking
<v Speaker 1>library in here. A lot of the times, though, I
<v Speaker 1>don't put the blame on the crowds. I say this
<v Speaker 1>all the time. It's like, if you give the people...
<v Speaker 1>something to get really excited about and something to cheer for.
<v Speaker 1>More often than not, they will reward you and they
<v Speaker 1>will make noise, right? Whether it's booing, cheering, whatever the
<v Speaker 1>case may be. The reason that so many of these crowds,
<v Speaker 1>when you watch these weekly shows and people are like, man,
<v Speaker 1>it sounds dead in there, right? Or because it happens
<v Speaker 1>a lot. The reason for that is they're just not
<v Speaker 1>terribly interested in what they're seeing. So I can't say, man,
<v Speaker 1>what a shitty crowd. It's like, Nine times out of ten,
<v Speaker 1>if it's a quiet crowd, there's a fucking reason for it.
<v Speaker 1>You know what I mean? You can't just put it
<v Speaker 1>all on the fans. But the reality is, they really
<v Speaker 1>can't hold a candle to these international crowds. So the
<v Speaker 1>fans of Mexico City were very happy to get all
<v Speaker 1>of this wrestling this week, and that much was clear.
<v Speaker 1>Joe Tessitore and Corey Graves, they were on the call.
<v Speaker 1>I was surprised to hear Corey there. If you... Watched
<v Speaker 1>TripleMania last night. TripleMania Night 2. Corey Graves, he was struggling,
<v Speaker 1>was Corey Graves. I don't know if he was sick.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if he was just losing his voice.
<v Speaker 1>But he soldiered through it, man. He has my respect.
<v Speaker 1>And that was from the opening match, too. And I'm
<v Speaker 1>watching the live chat, and people are like, oh, get
<v Speaker 1>Corey a cough drop and all this other stuff. I'm like, man,
<v Speaker 1>is this guy going to make it through the show?
<v Speaker 1>So I wasn't even sure he was going to be
<v Speaker 1>on the show tonight, but he was, and he sounded okay.
<v Speaker 1>The general manager of AAA opened the show. Ray Mysterio
<v Speaker 1>made his way out to the ring in his neck
<v Speaker 1>brace to join the general manager of RAW, Adam Pearce.
<v Speaker 1>Ray welcomed the crowd to RAW in Mexico first time
<v Speaker 1>in 15 years, and he told Pearce he thought that
<v Speaker 1>this would be a historic night. Then he brought up
<v Speaker 1>their live event tour, and he mentioned one moment in particular.
<v Speaker 1>stood out, and they aired footage of Stephanie Viqueur beating
<v Speaker 1>Liv Morgan to win the Women's World Championship. That was
<v Speaker 1>on Saturday night. So we had night one of TripleMania
<v Speaker 1>on Friday. Night two was last night. On Saturday, they
<v Speaker 1>had a live event in Chile, sold a lot of
<v Speaker 1>tickets because Stephanie's name was on the card. And if
<v Speaker 1>you remember Raw last Monday, we had a Women's World
<v Speaker 1>Championship match, the usual Judgment Day interference, Liv beat Stephanie.
<v Speaker 1>So this time on the live tour... They made Becky
<v Speaker 1>Lynch the guest referee. So it could be a fair fight.
<v Speaker 1>Anybody who tried to get involved, she could help kind of,
<v Speaker 1>you know, fight them off or keep them at bay.
<v Speaker 1>And Stephanie won the championship. So you knew Liv Morgan
<v Speaker 1>was going to pitch a fit here on this show, right?
<v Speaker 1>So I was actually expecting her to specifically bring up
<v Speaker 1>Becky and Becky to be involved in this opening segment,
<v Speaker 1>which she wasn't. But anyway, so they showed highlights of
<v Speaker 1>the end of that match. If you would like to
<v Speaker 1>see the full match, you will have to become a
<v Speaker 1>club WWE member. Which, if you're WWE, is a very
<v Speaker 1>smart way to go about doing it. You know, to
<v Speaker 1>give exclusive access to stuff like that. If you're trying
<v Speaker 1>to get people to sign up, that's what I would do.
<v Speaker 1>I know some people are going to be very upset
<v Speaker 1>about that, but you want to get access to the
<v Speaker 1>full match right now until somebody leaks it, I guess.
<v Speaker 1>That's the way you're going to have to do it.
<v Speaker 1>So that brought out Stephanie Viqueur to a huge ovation.
<v Speaker 1>And she spoke in Spanish. She switched to English. She
<v Speaker 1>said that it was the joy of her life to
<v Speaker 1>win the belt back in her home country. This brought
<v Speaker 1>out Liv Morgan and Dominic Mysterio. And they walked out
<v Speaker 1>massive heat for these two. Liv said she got screwed,
<v Speaker 1>and that's the only reason why Stephanie won, is because
<v Speaker 1>she got screwed over. But it's okay, because they both
<v Speaker 1>know that with or without the belt, Liv is still
<v Speaker 1>the greatest women's world champion of all time. And then
<v Speaker 1>she turned to Ray and said that she knew he
<v Speaker 1>was a deadbeat dad, but he had an all-time low
<v Speaker 1>hanging around this puta, pointing to Stephanie. So then Dom spoke.
<v Speaker 1>He got drowned out by booze. He said that he
<v Speaker 1>and Liv are what real champions look like. And Ray said, whoa,
<v Speaker 1>hold on a second now. He points out that, how
<v Speaker 1>can you say this? You lost your title last night.
<v Speaker 1>and he pitched it to footage from the main event
<v Speaker 1>of night two of TripleMania, his match with El Grande Americano,
<v Speaker 1>where he lost his mega-championship. Sadam then pitched the idea
<v Speaker 1>of a mixed tag match, him and Liv, against Rey
<v Speaker 1>and Stephanie, right here, right now, which I thought, hey,
<v Speaker 1>that'd be a hell of an opening match here for
<v Speaker 1>the show. Adam Pearce said that Rey is not medically cleared,
<v Speaker 1>he's got the neck brace on. Out comes the new
<v Speaker 1>AAA mega-champion. Here comes El Grande Americano, Again, getting a
<v Speaker 1>hero's welcome here in his home country, his homeland. And
<v Speaker 1>all of this led to a tag team match being made,
<v Speaker 1>but instead of it being Rey Mysterio and Stephanie Vickere,
<v Speaker 1>it was El Grande Americano and Stephanie Vickere against Dominic
<v Speaker 1>Mysterio and Liv Morgan. This was a hot open. Again,
<v Speaker 1>these fans, man, they were up. They love seeing Stephanie.
<v Speaker 1>They love seeing El Grande. He's another success story. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I talk about Penta, but Holy shit. I mean, look
<v Speaker 1>at the year that Ludwig Kaiser has had. That little
<v Speaker 1>arrest thing aside, you know, just the way that the
<v Speaker 1>fans in Mexico have taken to him and the way
<v Speaker 1>that he's taken to them, you know, and speaking the
<v Speaker 1>language and making it, you know, making them feel like
<v Speaker 1>he's part of their culture and everything. They've embraced him.
<v Speaker 1>They've taken him in as one of their own. What
<v Speaker 1>started as a fucking comedy gimmick. It was a slap
<v Speaker 1>in the face and they have embraced this man. And
<v Speaker 1>you go back to that mask, man, that mask match
<v Speaker 1>is legitimately going to be when this year is over
<v Speaker 1>on a lot of people's lists as the match of
<v Speaker 1>the year. And if not, certainly one of the matches
<v Speaker 1>of the year. Very rare in wrestling do you get
<v Speaker 1>a match like that. From start to finish, soup to nuts,
<v Speaker 1>entrance to exit, where it feels like, holy shit, this
<v Speaker 1>is something special. Right? That's what that match was in May.
<v Speaker 1>That's what made him a made man in AAA. The
<v Speaker 1>icing on the cake was him winning the championship, which
<v Speaker 1>was a formality, him winning the championship last night. But
<v Speaker 1>you look at the success that he's had. And to
<v Speaker 1>say nothing of him, you know, meeting his new girlfriend
<v Speaker 1>and everything else. Like, he's got a good thing going
<v Speaker 1>for him. He never has to set foot in a
<v Speaker 1>ring in the fucking United States ever again. He's a
<v Speaker 1>made guy. But we had a tag match after this,
<v Speaker 1>as I mentioned, with these four. Late in the match,
<v Speaker 1>Americano hit Dom with an air raid crash. And the
<v Speaker 1>ladies tagged in. Stephanie went for the SVB. Liv was
<v Speaker 1>able to escape. She gave Liv the devil's kiss. Dom
<v Speaker 1>distracted Stephanie and Liv caught her with a backstabber. So
<v Speaker 1>Americano comes in, he strikes Dom. Dom was able to
<v Speaker 1>reverse things. He got Americano in position for a 619,
<v Speaker 1>but El Grande reversed. He set Dom up for a 619.
<v Speaker 1>Liv ended up in position for one as well. She
<v Speaker 1>was basically right on top of Dom on the middle rope.
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie ends up hitting both of them with a 619.
<v Speaker 1>So then here comes, I mean, you could set your
<v Speaker 1>fucking watch to it. Here comes the Judgment Day. Here
<v Speaker 1>comes Ludwig Kaiser. Or Ludwig Kaiser. Here comes J.D. McDonough.
<v Speaker 1>Definitely not Ludwig Kaiser. J.D. McDonough and the ladies of
<v Speaker 1>the Judgment Day, Roxanne Perez, Raquel Rodriguez, they run in
<v Speaker 1>for the disqualification. Dom yanked Ray. He reached out and
<v Speaker 1>grabbed his dad by the neck brace. And he drags
<v Speaker 1>him into the ring. And this got him a ton
<v Speaker 1>of heat. I thought he was trying to rip it
<v Speaker 1>off of him. Maybe he was trying to and he
<v Speaker 1>just couldn't do it. But he's just like, he's trying
<v Speaker 1>to ripping and tearing at this neck brace, abusing his
<v Speaker 1>father for a little bit. So Americano tried to make
<v Speaker 1>the save. He was setting up for the headbutt to Dom.
<v Speaker 1>But as he came off the ropes, McDonough cut him
<v Speaker 1>off with his own giant Funko headbutt, knocked him out.
<v Speaker 1>And McDonough followed that with a top rope moonsault. Liv
<v Speaker 1>hit oblivion on Stephanie. And the Judgment Day stood tall.
<v Speaker 1>Liv took the Women's World title. Dom took the Mega title.
<v Speaker 1>And they all stood tall to close things out here.
<v Speaker 1>I thought it was a fun match. Lame finish. But
<v Speaker 1>up until that point, the match was fun. Honestly, the
<v Speaker 1>rate at which Dom has been losing matches going back
<v Speaker 1>to May, I'm kind of happy he didn't lose here.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, he lost last night. But, I mean, you
<v Speaker 1>had to know he was going to lose. But if
<v Speaker 1>you look at the number of matches he's won relative
<v Speaker 1>to the number of matches he's lost over the last
<v Speaker 1>four months, five months, it's not good. So maybe it's
<v Speaker 1>for the better that they did it this way and
<v Speaker 1>they spared him another loss here. But the heat for
<v Speaker 1>this was tremendous. I don't know that they get this
<v Speaker 1>anywhere else, honestly, but Mexico City. Not at this level
<v Speaker 1>they don't. This was the right place. This is a
<v Speaker 1>company that loves heat. They love heat. And heat can
<v Speaker 1>be good, right? Heat can help build the feud to
<v Speaker 1>where you get the big blow off and you make
<v Speaker 1>a lot of money, you sell a lot of tickets.
<v Speaker 1>In theory, heat is a good thing. But sometimes they
<v Speaker 1>go a little overboard with it, where you get a
<v Speaker 1>little too much heat. And you don't give back to
<v Speaker 1>people enough. But they got a ton of heat here
<v Speaker 1>in this segment. And it keeps Liv, obviously, in the
<v Speaker 1>Women's World title picture. It keeps Dom in the conversation
<v Speaker 1>as far as I don't know exactly where he goes next.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if he'll be a part of a
<v Speaker 1>Money in the Bank qualifier. It would make sense for
<v Speaker 1>him to end up in the ladder match. I'm not
<v Speaker 1>saying he has to win it. I'm not sure if
<v Speaker 1>they're going to want to run it back again with
<v Speaker 1>him and Americano. I guess they could. I'm thinking more
<v Speaker 1>main roster. What's next for Dom? I don't know. I'd
<v Speaker 1>rather not just have them go back to him and
<v Speaker 1>Chad Gable where he's trying to go back after the
<v Speaker 1>IC title. So I'm not sure what's in his immediate future,
<v Speaker 1>but At least they're trying to keep some heat on
<v Speaker 1>this guy. Now, after this, we got highlights of the
<v Speaker 1>Vision last week showing up. Once again, unified. They are
<v Speaker 1>once again whole. All the members are, well, not entirely healthy,
<v Speaker 1>but they're mostly healthy. Logan Paul still got his arm
<v Speaker 1>in a brace. So we saw highlights of them last
<v Speaker 1>week on Raw. And for the second time in as
<v Speaker 1>many nights, laying out Obafemi. Which led to the little
<v Speaker 1>non-controversy that broke out on social media because if there's
<v Speaker 1>no controversy on social media, people get bored. They need
<v Speaker 1>controversy to talk about. So, sometimes they'll manufacture one. Although
<v Speaker 1>there was a report, I might have been from Fightful,
<v Speaker 1>about how when Bronson Reed placed his foot on Obafemi's
<v Speaker 1>body and Obafemi brought... I didn't even mention it. When
<v Speaker 1>I did my review last week, I didn't even mention
<v Speaker 1>it because to me it was such a non-issue. thought
<v Speaker 1>never occurred to me like this was going to be
<v Speaker 1>some big breaking news story and then Fightful has a
<v Speaker 1>report about it and people in the back were taken
<v Speaker 1>aback by this and some of them were even very
<v Speaker 1>upset it was an unscripted moment because god forbid we
<v Speaker 1>should have some of those on these shows and then
<v Speaker 1>it's like this dialogue back and forth like was he
<v Speaker 1>in the right was he in the wrong is he
<v Speaker 1>in the doghouse like who gives a fuck he brushed
<v Speaker 1>the guy's boot off of him put yourself like in
<v Speaker 1>storyline mode even Put yourself in Obafemi's position. You just
<v Speaker 1>got your ass kicked two nights in a row by
<v Speaker 1>this heel group. You just got ganged up on by
<v Speaker 1>these guys, back-to-back nights. Now they're posing over your body.
<v Speaker 1>They've embarrassed you. The guy's putting his foot on you.
<v Speaker 1>You're just going to lay there and let him do that?
<v Speaker 1>You're lucky Obafemi didn't just grab his leg and rip
<v Speaker 1>it off. All he did was just brush it off. Apparently, though,
<v Speaker 1>this was like some big controversy, and I don't understand.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know how that blows up into something. It's nothing.
<v Speaker 1>It's a nothing burger. Anyway, they aired highlights from that
<v Speaker 1>segment from last week. Must have been a slow news week,
<v Speaker 1>I guess. But that led into our first of two
<v Speaker 1>Money in the Bank qualifying matches tonight. This is the
<v Speaker 1>men's one with Javon Evans, Big Cass, and Austin Theory.
<v Speaker 1>Evans dumped Theory into the ring announcer's area, or the
<v Speaker 1>timekeeper's area. So he ran around the ring. We've seen
<v Speaker 1>him do this before. And he was going to do
<v Speaker 1>his big dive over the barricade onto Theory. Cass, though,
<v Speaker 1>was there. There was a seven-foot blockade in his way.
<v Speaker 1>And he grabbed Javon by the throat, and he chokeslammed
<v Speaker 1>him basically over the barricade and onto Theory in the
<v Speaker 1>timekeeper's area. After a commercial break, Cass had Evans on
<v Speaker 1>the ropes. Theory comes up from behind. And very slowly,
<v Speaker 1>he pulls Big Cass, who's a big fucking, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>the word big is in his name. Of course he's
<v Speaker 1>fucking big. He pulls Big Cass onto his shoulders, like
<v Speaker 1>in a torture rack position. And he's selling it like
<v Speaker 1>his legs are wobbling, like his legs are about to buckle, right,
<v Speaker 1>under the weight of this man. But then he has
<v Speaker 1>like this burst of energy. And then he delivers this
<v Speaker 1>spinning rack bomb to Big Cass, which was fucking impressive,
<v Speaker 1>I have to say. There aren't too many things that
<v Speaker 1>Austin Theory has done recently that have made me go, wow,
<v Speaker 1>that was impressive. But that was an impressive spot there.
<v Speaker 1>Before Theory could even get up to either celebrate or
<v Speaker 1>go for the pin, though, Javon comes flying off the
<v Speaker 1>top and he lands a frog splash. So a short
<v Speaker 1>time later, Cass caught up. With Evans, he caught him
<v Speaker 1>into a black hole slam coming off the ropes. He
<v Speaker 1>wanted to, I think he was going to go splash
<v Speaker 1>Theory or give him a big boot. It was one
<v Speaker 1>or the other in the corner. Maxine Dupree, though, pulled
<v Speaker 1>Theory out to safety. So Evans tried for the OG cutter.
<v Speaker 1>Cass blocked it. There was a big boot to Evans
<v Speaker 1>that connected, which is, he's finished him off with it before. Theory, though,
<v Speaker 1>throws Cass out of the ring. He's going to try
<v Speaker 1>to steal the pin. Only, he gets two count only.
<v Speaker 1>On the floor, Cass chokeslams Evans onto the apron. Back inside,
<v Speaker 1>Theory blasted Cass, who was charging in with a forearm shot.
<v Speaker 1>Evans flew in. He took down Theory with a reverse
<v Speaker 1>cutter in such a way that both men landed on
<v Speaker 1>top of Big Cass. So Theory ended up on the floor.
<v Speaker 1>Evans avoided another big boot. Cass was able to avoid
<v Speaker 1>another OG cutter attempt, but he couldn't avoid the next one.
<v Speaker 1>And this time, Evans was able to drop him with
<v Speaker 1>the cutter. Cass is dead weight. He's got to roll
<v Speaker 1>him over. He does covers him and he gets the
<v Speaker 1>three count to advance to the money in the bank
<v Speaker 1>ladder match. Uh, not bad, not bad, not a great match, but, uh,
<v Speaker 1>it was decent enough. I didn't love it, but I
<v Speaker 1>liked the outcome. Uh, Javon going to money in the bank,
<v Speaker 1>that was the right choice and him getting his win
<v Speaker 1>back over Cass made sense. And it doesn't hurt big Cass. Again,
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to hear this shit. If any, Before
<v Speaker 1>anybody even starts, I don't want to hear this stuff about, oh,
<v Speaker 1>so it begins, right? This was his first loss. This
<v Speaker 1>was big cash. first loss since he came back. I
<v Speaker 1>know he hasn't been back for very long. It's one loss,
<v Speaker 1>and it was in a triple threat match where he
<v Speaker 1>was up against two other people. So if he was
<v Speaker 1>going to lose, right, that's not a terrible way to lose.
<v Speaker 1>He already got a win over Javon. This was Javon's
<v Speaker 1>way of kind of getting a measure of revenge on him.
<v Speaker 1>And Javon is a much better fit for that ladder
<v Speaker 1>match than Cass is. Like, he'll shine in a match
<v Speaker 1>like this. Win or lose, right? This is exactly where
<v Speaker 1>you want Javon Evans to be. So that was the
<v Speaker 1>right finish. We got a recap of last week's show
<v Speaker 1>where Royce Keys and OTM set fire to the Usos
<v Speaker 1>rental car. What a terrible thing. My God. How will
<v Speaker 1>they recover from this? Backstage live. The Usos are still
<v Speaker 1>complaining about their rental car. Jacob Fatu shows up, and again,
<v Speaker 1>he is dissuading them from going, because they want revenge.
<v Speaker 1>And he is dissuading them. He's talking them out of
<v Speaker 1>going for revenge on these men, because Roman Reigns has
<v Speaker 1>a championship match tonight. Jay says that they need to
<v Speaker 1>protect Roman. And Jacob says that 9-4-6, they're not going
<v Speaker 1>to target Roman tonight. They'll bump them off one by
<v Speaker 1>one and get Roman at the end. So he says,
<v Speaker 1>the play, got to run the play. The play is
<v Speaker 1>for them to stick together. And he's, he has been very,
<v Speaker 1>very careful to tell these men, look, don't, don't go
<v Speaker 1>after Royce and his crew. You gotta, you gotta stand back.
<v Speaker 1>You gotta hold back. Don't go after these guys. It's
<v Speaker 1>very strange. Hey, Dark One, 10 months of membership. Shout
<v Speaker 1>out to Dark One. Thank you, brother. Says, I heard
<v Speaker 1>you were Feeling under the weather. Hope you feel better.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you. I appreciate that. I am doing better than
<v Speaker 1>I was doing yesterday. I was dying for the entire weekend,
<v Speaker 1>but at least I'm not near death at this point.
<v Speaker 1>I may sound like it, but I am feeling a
<v Speaker 1>little bit better, so thank you. Chad Gable and Dragon Lee.
<v Speaker 1>One-on-one for the Intercontinental Championship. I was looking forward to
<v Speaker 1>this match. I was looking forward to this one. Gable,
<v Speaker 1>early in the match, he ended up on the announce desk.
<v Speaker 1>You know what that means in a Dragon Lee match.
<v Speaker 1>He gets in the ring, he hits the ropes, and
<v Speaker 1>like a bat out of hell, he does his crazy
<v Speaker 1>cannonball dive through the ropes. And holy shit, this one somehow,
<v Speaker 1>this one looked even more insane than the ones that
<v Speaker 1>he normally does. And the two of them collided. Both
<v Speaker 1>men tumbled over the table to the floor. That took
<v Speaker 1>us into a commercial break. Coming out of that break,
<v Speaker 1>Gable and Lee, they were on the top rope. Gable
<v Speaker 1>delivered an angle slab all the way from the top.
<v Speaker 1>That was a hard landing for Dragon Lee. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I guess for both men. But Dragon Lee in particular
<v Speaker 1>looked like he took one hell of a fall there.
<v Speaker 1>So much so, I think he needed some time to
<v Speaker 1>kind of collect himself. Because the referee went down to
<v Speaker 1>go talk to him. And they were probably talking for
<v Speaker 1>a good, I don't know, 15 seconds or so. which
<v Speaker 1>when you're on live TV, that's a long time. So
<v Speaker 1>I was looking, I'm like, I hope he didn't knock
<v Speaker 1>himself silly. But after about 15 seconds, he was good
<v Speaker 1>to go. So there was a Liger bomb attempt by
<v Speaker 1>Lee that got countered into a Liger bomb by Gable,
<v Speaker 1>only for two. Gable went up for the moonsault, but
<v Speaker 1>he ate the feet on the landing. Lee was lining
<v Speaker 1>him up for Operation Dragon. He went for it, but
<v Speaker 1>Gable countered out. They ended up on the ropes. Gable
<v Speaker 1>got hung upside down, but on the outside of the ring.
<v Speaker 1>And Lee came off the top. He delivered this vicious
<v Speaker 1>double stomp right to the chest. And both men landed
<v Speaker 1>on the floor outside. Lee landed feet first, and he
<v Speaker 1>clutched his ankle like he may have broke it or
<v Speaker 1>sprained it or wrenched it in some way on the
<v Speaker 1>way down. Gable was just, he was just laid out dead.
<v Speaker 1>So both men barely made it back into the ring
<v Speaker 1>before the 10 count. Super kick by Lee. Again, setting
<v Speaker 1>up for Operation Dragon, but as he charges in, Gable
<v Speaker 1>threw him overhead with an overhead belly-to-belly right into the corner.
<v Speaker 1>So Gable now goes up top. He lands the moonsault
<v Speaker 1>this time. He gets a one. He gets two. Lee
<v Speaker 1>kicks out. So Gable got the waist lock into the
<v Speaker 1>German suplex. He holds on, though. He hits another one.
<v Speaker 1>He goes for another Lee escapes operation dragon connects. He
<v Speaker 1>covers Gable though, kicks out. Now the crowd is breaking
<v Speaker 1>out and chance of this is awesome. And they've been
<v Speaker 1>very up for the match and very loud for it
<v Speaker 1>and into it up until this point. But now they're chanting.
<v Speaker 1>This is awesome. And they're, they're super into it now.
<v Speaker 1>So Lee got Gable in position for the styles clash.
<v Speaker 1>Gable was able to escape into an ankle lock. And
<v Speaker 1>Lee is trying to kick free. Gable will not let go.
<v Speaker 1>Lee rolls through. into a styles clash. This time it connects.
<v Speaker 1>He covers him, and again, Gable kicks out. And Dragon
<v Speaker 1>Lee allowed himself, in the middle of all this, to
<v Speaker 1>get caught in the ankle lock. Again, he's trying to
<v Speaker 1>kick free, doing everything he possibly can. Gable, though, grapevines
<v Speaker 1>the leg in the center of the ring, just like
<v Speaker 1>with Kurt Angle. Once the leg is grapevined, that is
<v Speaker 1>the beginning of the end. And he's got it. cinched
<v Speaker 1>on right in the center of the ring, there's nowhere
<v Speaker 1>for Dragon Lee to go, he's reaching, but he's too
<v Speaker 1>far away, and finally he taps out, and Gable retains,
<v Speaker 1>and holy shit, what a battle this was, what a
<v Speaker 1>match these two went out there and had, Gable helped
<v Speaker 1>him up to his feet after, and he hugged him,
<v Speaker 1>and you can read his lips too, he's looking at
<v Speaker 1>this guy, and he's telling him, you're my fucking favorite,
<v Speaker 1>he said it twice actually, you're my fucking favorite, I
<v Speaker 1>would imagine that Dragon Lee is probably a lot of
<v Speaker 1>wrestlers' favorite opponent to be in the ring with, and
<v Speaker 1>you probably would have people that would say the same
<v Speaker 1>thing about Chad Gable, too, because they're two of the
<v Speaker 1>best wrestlers in the entire company. This was everything I
<v Speaker 1>was hoping it would be when they first announced the match,
<v Speaker 1>what was it, a couple of weeks ago, I guess.
<v Speaker 1>Dragon Lee won that number one contenders match, and I said, man,
<v Speaker 1>we're in for a treat. You know, besides Roman and Penta,
<v Speaker 1>we get this on the same show, not too bad.
<v Speaker 1>And so they delivered... And in Mexico City, no less,
<v Speaker 1>you know, in front of that crowd, they rewarded these
<v Speaker 1>two men, you know, for going out there and having
<v Speaker 1>one hell of a match. One of the best television
<v Speaker 1>matches all year. We got two of them on the
<v Speaker 1>same show. But definitely one of the best TV matches
<v Speaker 1>you'll see all year. And I know some people, before
<v Speaker 1>I go on here, I know some people might disagree
<v Speaker 1>with the outcome, especially since Penta was losing. Why not
<v Speaker 1>have Dragon Lee win? I would not have ended Chad
<v Speaker 1>Gable's reign. Just yet. Again, he just won the championship
<v Speaker 1>at SummerSlam, and it took so long. Oh, my God.
<v Speaker 1>It took years, literally years, for him to finally be
<v Speaker 1>in a position where he could hold a championship, a
<v Speaker 1>fucking singles title in this company. And he's over, too.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, he's over as a babyface. To take the
<v Speaker 1>belt off of him just to put it on Dragon Lee,
<v Speaker 1>I don't agree with that. I think if there was
<v Speaker 1>going to be a title change that people would have
<v Speaker 1>been happy to see and really wanted to see, even
<v Speaker 1>if it was just short term, it was Penta. And
<v Speaker 1>that's what they were focused on. And just because Penta
<v Speaker 1>wasn't going to win, it doesn't mean, well, we'll just
<v Speaker 1>take it off Chad, right? Would it have killed him?
<v Speaker 1>Probably not. I mean, you could have run it back,
<v Speaker 1>I guess, at Worlds Collide and just given it right
<v Speaker 1>back to Gable. Sure, you could have done that, but
<v Speaker 1>I disagree with that. I disagree with the sentiment there.
<v Speaker 1>that if you are somebody who thinks they should have
<v Speaker 1>just given it to him because they weren't putting the
<v Speaker 1>belt on Penta, I disagree with that. I was happy
<v Speaker 1>to see Gable hold on to it. We got a
<v Speaker 1>Bailey video. She said Lyra made her pass out in
<v Speaker 1>a pool of Lyra's own blood at Madison Square Garden.
<v Speaker 1>But that wasn't enough. She had to go the extra
<v Speaker 1>mile to make sure she didn't come back. And what
<v Speaker 1>bothers her is really the most, What bothers her is
<v Speaker 1>that Lyra tried to use everything Bayley stands for against her,
<v Speaker 1>calling her the doormat of the women's locker room, like
<v Speaker 1>everything she's done for 14 years meant nothing. She chose
<v Speaker 1>this path so that women like Lyra can make a
<v Speaker 1>difference in WWE, but she realizes that Lyra is just
<v Speaker 1>like everybody else. She's selfish, which is when people get
<v Speaker 1>in the way of their own long-term success, but not
<v Speaker 1>this time. because she's going to be the one that
<v Speaker 1>stands in Lyra's way. This isn't the first time that
<v Speaker 1>someone has used her vulnerabilities against her, but it will
<v Speaker 1>be the last. And she's going to show her why
<v Speaker 1>Bayley is the standard of women's wrestling. Well, if she's
<v Speaker 1>the standard, then maybe they could change that fucking sound
<v Speaker 1>effect at the beginning of her theme song. Instead of
<v Speaker 1>role model, maybe they could come up with a new one, maybe?
<v Speaker 1>That would be kind of nice. That would be nice.
<v Speaker 1>Since this is going to be like the beginning of
<v Speaker 1>whatever this next phase of Bayley's career there is going
<v Speaker 1>to be, because she's either signed a new contract or
<v Speaker 1>she's expected to very soon, I hope one of the
<v Speaker 1>things that she really pushes for is new entrance music.
<v Speaker 1>Because what she's been coming out to now the last
<v Speaker 1>few years is fucking garbage, and she deserves better than that.
<v Speaker 1>That would be nice. Then we had the Women's Money
<v Speaker 1>in the Bank qualifying match. Featuring the NXT Women's Champion,
<v Speaker 1>Kalani Jordan. That's probably what it is. Instead of the
<v Speaker 1>role model, it'll be, the standard. And they'll play the
<v Speaker 1>same music. They'll just literally change the opening bite to
<v Speaker 1>the music from role model to standard. Such a shame.
<v Speaker 1>Kalani Jordan. Raquel Rodriguez and the one person without a
<v Speaker 1>championship in this match. Because Raquel Rodriguez is the Intercontinental Champion.
<v Speaker 1>Lola Weiss is not a champion, but this was her
<v Speaker 1>Raw debut. This was her big premiere here on Monday
<v Speaker 1>Night Raw. We've been getting vignettes now for weeks and weeks.
<v Speaker 1>Kalani was out first. Then the Women's Intercontinental Champion actually
<v Speaker 1>got the jobber entrance during the commercial break. And then
<v Speaker 1>Lola got a full entrance with this being her debut
<v Speaker 1>and all. After a commercial break, Lola was firing off
<v Speaker 1>a series of kicks to Kalani. Then she backed Raquel
<v Speaker 1>into the corner, also with kicks. And then with Kalani
<v Speaker 1>in one corner, down in one corner, and then Raquel
<v Speaker 1>down in the other corner, she went back and forth
<v Speaker 1>hitting the running hip attacks. What did Joe Tessitore call them?
<v Speaker 1>Do you call them like butt bombs? Is that what
<v Speaker 1>he called? I think it was something like that, right?
<v Speaker 1>I wish I would have written it down. He was like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>the butt bombs by Raquel. Remind me in the chat
<v Speaker 1>if anybody remembers exactly what Tessitore called it. All I
<v Speaker 1>knew is that Booker T should have been on the
<v Speaker 1>call for this. He would have absolutely had a meltdown
<v Speaker 1>on commentary. So Jordan, she came off the top with
<v Speaker 1>a Rana attempt a little bit later on Raquel, but
<v Speaker 1>Raquel didn't budge. She held on, muscled her up into
<v Speaker 1>a powerbomb position, but Kalani reversed that into a sunset
<v Speaker 1>flip for a near fall. Kalani then hit Raquel with
<v Speaker 1>a frog splash. Oh, booty bombs. Okay, thank you. That's
<v Speaker 1>what it was. It was something I wasn't expecting to
<v Speaker 1>hear him say. I knew it was something like that. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>Joe Tessitore. The man who I think still does college
<v Speaker 1>football on ABC. Talking about booty bombs on Monday Night Raw. Hey, look,
<v Speaker 1>I can't fault the man. I'm not saying he's wrong.
<v Speaker 1>Raquel dumped Lola with a fallaway slam. Jordan went for
<v Speaker 1>a 450 on Lola, but Lola caught her on the
<v Speaker 1>way down in a triangle, which got broken up by Raquel.
<v Speaker 1>She then tried for a Tejana bomb. Lola countered into
<v Speaker 1>a sleeper hold. Raquel escaped. Lola sent her colliding into Kalani.
<v Speaker 1>She basically booted her off the apron. And then Lola
<v Speaker 1>rolled up the Intercontinental Champion. And got the flash pin
<v Speaker 1>to advance to Money in the Bank. So Lola Weiss
<v Speaker 1>is going to be on her first PLE. She'll be
<v Speaker 1>one of six women in that Money in the Bank
<v Speaker 1>ladder match. I thought it was good. It was a
<v Speaker 1>good match. The expected finish. You're not going to debut
<v Speaker 1>Lola in this match. I mean, I guess this was
<v Speaker 1>technically Kalani's... Was it her main roster debut? It was
<v Speaker 1>definitely her Raw debut. But this was not intended to
<v Speaker 1>be her Raw debut. Less important for her to get
<v Speaker 1>the win here. Lola's the one that they've really been
<v Speaker 1>hyping up with these vignettes that they shot. It would
<v Speaker 1>have been incredibly stupid to debut her here and then
<v Speaker 1>just have her lose. So of course she was going
<v Speaker 1>to win. I'm not really sure, frankly, why Kalani was
<v Speaker 1>in this match. There was somebody who made an educated
<v Speaker 1>guess a couple of weeks ago that maybe it was
<v Speaker 1>because the two of them had worked together previously in
<v Speaker 1>NXT and there was a comfort level there. I don't
<v Speaker 1>believe they've really worked together a lot recently, though. So,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. I mean, maybe it was just an
<v Speaker 1>opportunity to get Kalani some face time on the main show.
<v Speaker 1>I will say this, though. If you did not see
<v Speaker 1>the match where Kalani won the championship, you should absolutely
<v Speaker 1>go seek it out. The whole thing is up for free.
<v Speaker 1>The full match, by the way. I think the full show.
<v Speaker 1>But the full match is up on the CW Network
<v Speaker 1>YouTube channel. from Heat Wave last month between Kalani Jordan
<v Speaker 1>and Kendall Gray. Great match. Great match. The 946 crew,
<v Speaker 1>Royce Keys and OTM, they sent a video in to
<v Speaker 1>be broadcast here on this show. What looked like from
<v Speaker 1>their phone, implying that they didn't make the trip to Mexico,
<v Speaker 1>and which I thought was just a way to throw
<v Speaker 1>us off. But in fact, they did not make the
<v Speaker 1>trip to Mexico because they never showed up on this show,
<v Speaker 1>which was fine. But I thought that this was their
<v Speaker 1>way of making us want to think that they were
<v Speaker 1>not there and then they were going to show up
<v Speaker 1>during the main event or after the main event. But
<v Speaker 1>they wish Roman Reigns good luck. Maybe they were being genuine.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe they really just wanted to wish Roman Reigns good luck.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe they just really hate his cousins, but they don't
<v Speaker 1>really mind Roman too much. Elsewhere in the back, Stephanie
<v Speaker 1>Viqueur ran into Becky Lynch outside in the parking lot,
<v Speaker 1>and Becky was acting all friendly with her. But let
<v Speaker 1>her know that my time helping you now is over,
<v Speaker 1>and basically putting her on notice that she's going to
<v Speaker 1>be coming for her championship. And then it was time.
<v Speaker 1>It was time for the main event of this show.
<v Speaker 1>For the World Heavyweight Championship, Roman Reigns defending his title
<v Speaker 1>against Penta walked out wearing this special Mexican headdress that
<v Speaker 1>was so fucking tall. He could not come out the
<v Speaker 1>normal entrance. So he had to come out from the
<v Speaker 1>side and then he came to the stage and then
<v Speaker 1>they started playing his, his entrance music. And from the
<v Speaker 1>moment he walked out there to the moment he got
<v Speaker 1>down to ringside and went around the ring and was
<v Speaker 1>slapping hands with everybody and got in the ring and
<v Speaker 1>And then for several minutes thereafter, these people never stopped
<v Speaker 1>cheering and chanting and yelling and screaming for Penta. They
<v Speaker 1>were 100% behind this man. This man was going to
<v Speaker 1>be the hero of the fucking year if he could
<v Speaker 1>do the impossible and win the World Heavyweight Championship from
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns. But they were chanting everything. They were chanting Penta.
<v Speaker 1>They were chanting CCC. And they let this go on
<v Speaker 1>for a while before Roman's music hit. This felt like
<v Speaker 1>a pay-per-view main event. Then they hit Roman's music. And
<v Speaker 1>immediately the crowd erupted into booze. And what it reminded
<v Speaker 1>me of, and it wasn't quite at that level, but
<v Speaker 1>it was pretty close. It reminded me of Money in
<v Speaker 1>the Bank 2011 in Chicago when CM Punk came out. Hometown,
<v Speaker 1>huge reaction. The music stops. He's sitting in the ring, cross-legged.
<v Speaker 1>He's waiting for John Cena to come out. And as
<v Speaker 1>soon as they hit the opening chord of Cena's music,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, you could feel the fucking boos reverberate through
<v Speaker 1>your body. Like, the boos were so loud. That's when
<v Speaker 1>Cena came out. This reminded me of that. As soon
<v Speaker 1>as the opening chord hit, the boos rained down. upon
<v Speaker 1>Roman here as he made his way out. And as
<v Speaker 1>I said at the beginning of the review, kudos to
<v Speaker 1>the fans of Mexico City who recognized that Roman, as
<v Speaker 1>much as they love Penta, I would like to think
<v Speaker 1>they also just recognized that Roman Reigns is a fucking heel.
<v Speaker 1>There is nothing about this man that screams cheer for him,
<v Speaker 1>other than the fact that, you know, again, he's got,
<v Speaker 1>everyone uses the word aura, and that's what he does
<v Speaker 1>when he comes at you, aura farms. And I'm not
<v Speaker 1>saying he doesn't have any of that, but he's a
<v Speaker 1>fucking heel. And he got booed like one here on
<v Speaker 1>this show. I wish that would happen more often. So
<v Speaker 1>Alicia Taylor, she handled the championship introductions. And again, big
<v Speaker 1>fight feel, big like pay-per-view main event feel. And then
<v Speaker 1>the bell rings and we're underway. And early in the match,
<v Speaker 1>Penta dumped Roman to the floor, followed him out with
<v Speaker 1>a tope con hilo out to the floor. That took
<v Speaker 1>us into a commercial break. During the break, Penta had
<v Speaker 1>Roman up against the ring post, and the crowd got
<v Speaker 1>real quiet, real silent. And he went for the knife
<v Speaker 1>edge chop. Roman moved out of the way. Penta ended
<v Speaker 1>up chopping the ring post. Then he got sent headfirst
<v Speaker 1>into the ring post. And at that point, Roman went
<v Speaker 1>on offense for a while. Roman put his head down
<v Speaker 1>in the ring. Penta, though, kicked him. Then he took
<v Speaker 1>Roman down with, it was kind of like a variation
<v Speaker 1>of a sling blade. but face first, kind of just
<v Speaker 1>planted him down in the mat. Then he hit the
<v Speaker 1>backstabber into a cover, two count only. So Penta followed
<v Speaker 1>up with a springboard tornado DDT for another near fall.
<v Speaker 1>Then Penta got him in position for the sacrifice arm breaker.
<v Speaker 1>And there's nowhere for Roman to go, and he snaps
<v Speaker 1>the arm back. So now he's setting up for the
<v Speaker 1>Penta driver. Now, I told you guys last week when
<v Speaker 1>I was talking about this match, and I said, you know,
<v Speaker 1>I can see Roman taking a Mexican Destroyer, but I
<v Speaker 1>can't see him taking a Penta Driver. Like, the way
<v Speaker 1>he hits it sometimes, and the person has to tuck
<v Speaker 1>their head at the very last... Like, I don't see
<v Speaker 1>Roman taking a Penta Driver. Well, he went to go
<v Speaker 1>for a Penta Driver here, and Roman fought him off.
<v Speaker 1>He said, fuck that, and he drove... him with a Yuranagi.
<v Speaker 1>So then they took another commercial break, but thank the
<v Speaker 1>Lord for my VPN, so I got to keep watching this.
<v Speaker 1>Penta rolled out to the floor, and Roman followed with
<v Speaker 1>the drive-by. So then Penta kind of stumbled around to
<v Speaker 1>a different side of the ring, and Roman followed him,
<v Speaker 1>and he hit a second drive-by on that side. Back inside,
<v Speaker 1>Roman booted him as he grabbed his right arm. So
<v Speaker 1>Roman is selling the effects of the sacrifice here. Roman
<v Speaker 1>was lining up for the Superman punch, but he sold
<v Speaker 1>the bad arm when he punched the bat, which was
<v Speaker 1>pretty stupid of him to do, and then he ate
<v Speaker 1>a shotgun dropkick in the corner. Roman went to the aprons.
<v Speaker 1>And Penta, he basically did a springboard from inside the
<v Speaker 1>ring out to the apron. He was going for a
<v Speaker 1>destroyer on the apron. Roman just backdropped him. And when
<v Speaker 1>he backdropped him, he backdropped this guy. And instead of
<v Speaker 1>just going up straight and landing on the apron, he
<v Speaker 1>hit the ropes. He bounced off the ropes and hit
<v Speaker 1>the apron, went from the apron to the floor. Then
<v Speaker 1>on the floor, Roman picked him up and he powerbombed
<v Speaker 1>him onto the announce desk, which did not break. So
<v Speaker 1>he puts Penta back inside. And again, he tries for
<v Speaker 1>the Superman punch. Instead, though, Penta catches him. And again,
<v Speaker 1>I didn't think that we would see it here in
<v Speaker 1>this match. But he set him up for the fucking
<v Speaker 1>Penta driver. And Roman Reigns takes this move. Penta got
<v Speaker 1>a great near fall out of it. And then he
<v Speaker 1>set up for the kill. Mexican Destroyer. But as he
<v Speaker 1>came in... Penta ate a Superman punch. Down he goes.
<v Speaker 1>Roman covers. Penta kicks out. And they got a great
<v Speaker 1>shot of Penta's wife in the front row. She's in tears.
<v Speaker 1>She's crying watching this. Now the crowd is rallying behind
<v Speaker 1>the challenger. Now Roman sets up for the spear. And
<v Speaker 1>here he comes. Penta the leapfrogs. Roman hits the buckles.
<v Speaker 1>And now Penta... connects on the Mexican destroyer. People are
<v Speaker 1>losing their minds here. Roman, though, after taking the Mexican destroyer,
<v Speaker 1>immediately bounces back up to his feet, falls backwards into
<v Speaker 1>the corner, and then he storms out of the corner
<v Speaker 1>and hits a spear. And he covers him, and thank
<v Speaker 1>fucking God, Penta kicked out. If he would have pinned
<v Speaker 1>him there, if he would have pinned him after no
<v Speaker 1>selling the Mexican destroyer and hitting one spear and pinned him,
<v Speaker 1>I would have had a very different opinion about the
<v Speaker 1>ending of this fucking match. That would have irritated the
<v Speaker 1>shit out of me. So, thankfully, Penta kicked out. But, yes,
<v Speaker 1>he no-sold a Mexican Destroyer here. Roman beats him down
<v Speaker 1>some more because now he's getting frustrated. And then he
<v Speaker 1>looks outside and he demands the microphone. They hand him
<v Speaker 1>the mic. And he demands... Oh, no! Yes. That's basically
<v Speaker 1>what he said. He demands that this crowd acknowledge him,
<v Speaker 1>which gets him even more heat than the heat he
<v Speaker 1>already had. So Roman hits the ropes, comes off the
<v Speaker 1>other side, eats a super kick though. And Penta comes
<v Speaker 1>off the ropes with a springboard Mexican destroyer. And this
<v Speaker 1>time Roman is down. He ain't bouncing back up to
<v Speaker 1>his feet. Penta goes over and he covers. One, two,
<v Speaker 1>Roman gets a shoulder up. At least he sold that one.
<v Speaker 1>But Roman barely gets a shoulder up at the very
<v Speaker 1>last second. People are losing their minds now, right? I mean,
<v Speaker 1>they were already invested in this, but now they are
<v Speaker 1>glued to everything that these two men are doing. Penta
<v Speaker 1>crawls over. He's right up in Roman's face. He's yelling
<v Speaker 1>stuff at him. They're slowly getting back up to their feet.
<v Speaker 1>We got the yay boo spot back and forth. And
<v Speaker 1>now Penta starts peppering him with kicks to the thigh.
<v Speaker 1>Comes off the ropes. He eats a thrust. Off the ropes,
<v Speaker 1>Roman eats a super kick. And then another. And then
<v Speaker 1>a third. Penta comes off the ropes with a springboard.
<v Speaker 1>I thought it was going to be a springboard into
<v Speaker 1>a spear, which I want to say, is that how
<v Speaker 1>the Riddle match ended? Because that was Roman's last television
<v Speaker 1>title defense. And I'm almost positive that that match ended. Riddle,
<v Speaker 1>I think, went for a springboard, and Roman speared him
<v Speaker 1>out of midair and pinned him. And I thought that's
<v Speaker 1>how this match was about to end. But he did
<v Speaker 1>a springboard off the ropes into a Superman punch. Penta
<v Speaker 1>is staggered. Then he turns into a spear, and then
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigns gets the pin to retain. So more or less,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, that's very similar, I guess, to what happened here.
<v Speaker 1>But finally, he puts down Penta, and still, the World
<v Speaker 1>Heavyweight Champion is Roman Reigns. You could feel the air
<v Speaker 1>get sucked out of that building. The minute the referee,
<v Speaker 1>his hand hit the mat for the three, it was
<v Speaker 1>just like a, a shot to the back of the head. And,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, there were fans with their heads in their hands.
<v Speaker 1>They were so disappointed. They were just so distraught because
<v Speaker 1>they really thought, they really believed, they really thought that
<v Speaker 1>this man had a shot at walking out as the
<v Speaker 1>World Heavyweight Champion. And Penta made his way to the stage.
<v Speaker 1>Roman was still in the ring. He's standing there. He's
<v Speaker 1>taunting the fans. He's telling them, I don't hear shit now. Right?
<v Speaker 1>Really healing it up. I wasn't expecting a title change tonight.
<v Speaker 1>But I'll be damned if they didn't have me hoping
<v Speaker 1>that I would. I never wanted to be more wrong
<v Speaker 1>than I was in the final few minutes of that match.
<v Speaker 1>Can you imagine? I mean, as big of a reaction
<v Speaker 1>as El Grande Americano got last night when he won
<v Speaker 1>the mega title from Dom, right? And he got a
<v Speaker 1>great reaction. But the reaction to Penta... hitting a springboard
<v Speaker 1>Mexican destroyer and pinning Roman Reigns to win the World
<v Speaker 1>Heavyweight Champion. Like the fucking roof would have blown off
<v Speaker 1>the place. They would have been celebrating in the streets
<v Speaker 1>outside that building. Like the reaction would have been insane, right?
<v Speaker 1>And sometimes we could be a slave to the moment
<v Speaker 1>where it's like, oh, what a great moment it would be.
<v Speaker 1>You got to do it, right? Because it's just a
<v Speaker 1>great moment. And this is a company that has really
<v Speaker 1>demonstrated in recent years that that's really all they're about.
<v Speaker 1>They're about the moment. Above and beyond anything else, right?
<v Speaker 1>They're about the moment, the viral moment, right? That's the
<v Speaker 1>thing that matters most to them, especially when it comes
<v Speaker 1>to celebrities. So like, oh, what a great moment it
<v Speaker 1>would have been. But when you really think about, again,
<v Speaker 1>what are they planning? What directions have they teased? Who's
<v Speaker 1>next for Roman Reigns? Plus, you've got Crown Jewel coming
<v Speaker 1>up in November. There's a lot of stuff that's coming
<v Speaker 1>up here in the fall. Realistically, Henton never had a shot.
<v Speaker 1>Unless they wanted to turn right around to Worlds Collide
<v Speaker 1>in a few weeks and just take it away from him,
<v Speaker 1>which they could have done. Realistically, though, there was no shot.
<v Speaker 1>There was no shot. But it's fun to believe. It's
<v Speaker 1>fun to buy into it. And it's a credit to
<v Speaker 1>the two of them and the match they put together
<v Speaker 1>that they were able to get people to really invest
<v Speaker 1>to where they thought maybe even Beyond what they should
<v Speaker 1>have believed, logically, that maybe he had a shot at
<v Speaker 1>winning the World Heavyweight Championship. That's the sign of a
<v Speaker 1>great match. And that's a credit to the both of them.
<v Speaker 1>This was an excellent main event. Some very dramatic near falls.
<v Speaker 1>And again, it was nice to see Roman treated like
<v Speaker 1>an actual heel for a change. And nice to have
<v Speaker 1>a big match on this show, a big main event
<v Speaker 1>on this show that was not bogged down by overbooking.
<v Speaker 1>You know, interference by faction members, a ref bump, which
<v Speaker 1>is basically every Cody Rhodes match these days. We've seen
<v Speaker 1>a lot of that on SmackDown lately. It was nice
<v Speaker 1>to have just a straight wrestling match. There was no bloodline.
<v Speaker 1>There was no 9-4-6. There was no bullshit. There was
<v Speaker 1>no ref bump. There was no real controversy. There was
<v Speaker 1>no belt shot. There was none of that. It was one-on-one.
<v Speaker 1>You know, it was about as fair of a fight
<v Speaker 1>as you can find. And the better man won. It
<v Speaker 1>was just a great wrestling match. And this was for
<v Speaker 1>Penta what Clash at the Castle in Cardiff was for
<v Speaker 1>Drew McIntyre. And what Elimination Chamber in Montreal was for
<v Speaker 1>Sami Zayn. Both of those matches coming against Roman Reigns.
<v Speaker 1>Both of those matches with people just on the edge
<v Speaker 1>of their seats begging for for Roman to lose that championship. Drew,
<v Speaker 1>he's going to do it, right? Sammy, he's got to
<v Speaker 1>do it. Look how over he is in his hometown, right?
<v Speaker 1>That's what I mean at the beginning when I say
<v Speaker 1>Wrestling 101, where here's Penta in his home, maybe not hometown,
<v Speaker 1>but in his home country. These are his people. These
<v Speaker 1>are his fellow countrymen and women. And they're there to
<v Speaker 1>see him do what nobody else has been able to
<v Speaker 1>do and get that big moment, right? Sammy Zane got
<v Speaker 1>his moment. In Mexico City on Friday, El Grande Americano
<v Speaker 1>got his moment on Sunday. Stephanie got her moment in
<v Speaker 1>her home country on Saturday, so why not Penta? Why
<v Speaker 1>doesn't he complete the, I guess it wouldn't be the
<v Speaker 1>hat trick. It's four of them, whatever you would call that.
<v Speaker 1>But why not, right? Why not Penta? Well, because they
<v Speaker 1>have other plans. And sometimes it's just, you want to
<v Speaker 1>do a match like this, in that person's hometown, and
<v Speaker 1>you want people to buy into the idea that it
<v Speaker 1>could go that way, but it's not going to go
<v Speaker 1>that way. And unfortunately, that was one of those, you know, situations.
<v Speaker 1>This was one of those nights. I understand why they
<v Speaker 1>didn't do the title change. And if you are an
<v Speaker 1>LA Knight fan, this is exactly the outcome you wanted.
<v Speaker 1>When this show was over, they went off the air,
<v Speaker 1>LA Knight came out, he attacked Roman Reigns, Roman, very angry,
<v Speaker 1>very pissed off. He said, you want it? Money in
<v Speaker 1>the bank. So the match has been made official. This
<v Speaker 1>happened off the air. It will be Roman Reigns defending
<v Speaker 1>the World Heavyweight Championship next month against LA Knight October
<v Speaker 1>10th in New Orleans. He's going to get his shot.
<v Speaker 1>And this was always the way it was going to be.
<v Speaker 1>Adam Pearce told LA Knight a few weeks ago, wait
<v Speaker 1>until we get past September 14th in Mexico City, and
<v Speaker 1>then I promise you, at that point, we will talk
<v Speaker 1>about you getting your shot. I didn't know they were
<v Speaker 1>going to... They were going to do it this way,
<v Speaker 1>but at least they didn't waste any time and we
<v Speaker 1>all knew what the match was going to be. And
<v Speaker 1>so now they've made that official. And if there is
<v Speaker 1>any shot of Roman Reigns losing the World Heavyweight Championship
<v Speaker 1>any time before WrestleMania, it would be October 10th on
<v Speaker 1>that Money in the Bank show. I still don't think
<v Speaker 1>the likelihood is very high. But with 9-4-6 lurking and
<v Speaker 1>all that stuff going on, if you assume that War
<v Speaker 1>Games in November is going to have some combination of
<v Speaker 1>the bloodline and 9-4-6 and maybe some other people involved,
<v Speaker 1>one way to really throw some gasoline on the fire
<v Speaker 1>here between these two groups would be to have them
<v Speaker 1>play a role in Roman losing the World Heavyweight Championship.
<v Speaker 1>So I can't sit here and tell you that there's
<v Speaker 1>a 0% chance that LA Knight is going to win
<v Speaker 1>the World Heavyweight Championship. I can sit here and tell
<v Speaker 1>you that maybe it's 5%. I really wouldn't put the
<v Speaker 1>percentage that much higher than that. As an LA Knight fan,
<v Speaker 1>I've been burned too many times before thinking that there
<v Speaker 1>was a moment, there was an opportunity in there to
<v Speaker 1>do something. Here we are fucking four years later, three
<v Speaker 1>and a half years later. You just get to a
<v Speaker 1>point where it's like, all right, you know what? Fool
<v Speaker 1>me once and you know how the rest goes. It's
<v Speaker 1>just one of those things where I'll believe it when
<v Speaker 1>I see it, but there is at least an opening
<v Speaker 1>there for them to do something. And if Penta had
<v Speaker 1>won the championship tonight, that would have been zero. But
<v Speaker 1>Penta didn't win the championship. So if anybody is going
<v Speaker 1>to take that title from Roman Reigns, other than Obafemi,
<v Speaker 1>in Saudi Arabia in April, it would be LA Knight
<v Speaker 1>at Money in the Bank. And if it doesn't happen there,
<v Speaker 1>then we know We know what the vision is. The
<v Speaker 1>vision is we keep the belt on him and we
<v Speaker 1>anoint Oba and let Oba be the guy. Let him
<v Speaker 1>be the one that nobody else can do what Oba
<v Speaker 1>will do at WrestleMania. Not Penta, not LA Knight, not
<v Speaker 1>anybody else, right? Then we'll know. And I think that's
<v Speaker 1>probably what they want. I don't think they want anybody
<v Speaker 1>to be able to get to Roman until Oba gets him.
<v Speaker 1>And again, I know the LA Knight fans don't want
<v Speaker 1>to hear that, but That's how I feel. But overall,
<v Speaker 1>this was a great show. This was a fun show.
<v Speaker 1>It flew by. Again, less backstage stuff than usual. Two
<v Speaker 1>of the best television matches of the entire year, capping
<v Speaker 1>off what I would say was a very fun and
<v Speaker 1>successful trip to Mexico City. And now they're back to
<v Speaker 1>the States. It's kind of back to normal now. And
<v Speaker 1>we'll see. You know, Sami Zayn now is the WWE
<v Speaker 1>champion on SmackDown. And we now have our main event
<v Speaker 1>for Raw anyway set for Money in the Bank. So
<v Speaker 1>we still have to find out what the matches are
<v Speaker 1>going to be at Worlds Collide. The only thing we
<v Speaker 1>know for Worlds Collide so far is Roxanne Perez is
<v Speaker 1>going to be challenging La Catalina for the Reina de
<v Speaker 1>Reina's title from AAA. And CM Punk will be on
<v Speaker 1>the show as well. Perhaps that is where he will
<v Speaker 1>get his rematch with Sami Zayn. But we really don't
<v Speaker 1>know anything else. They've got 10,000 tickets sold for a
<v Speaker 1>show where we have one match announced. So before we
<v Speaker 1>get to Money in the Bank, we got to find
<v Speaker 1>out what's going on with that Worlds Collide show. I
<v Speaker 1>got to find out what's going on here with this
<v Speaker 1>likes goal, which I believe was a 495. I think
<v Speaker 1>we're right around 440 right now. Oh, 465. All right, well,
<v Speaker 1>we're close. We're about 20 likes away. We still got
<v Speaker 1>a little bit of work to do on that. So

<v Speaker 1>I've given it a lot of thought. What about the
<v Speaker 1>men's war games match this year? With Cody, Punk, Balor,
<v Speaker 1>and KO. Against Sammy, Orton, Gunther, and Gargano. Gargano in
<v Speaker 1>War Games? I think that's a bit of a leap,
<v Speaker 1>don't you think? I'm not so sure that come November,
<v Speaker 1>Sammy and Gargano are going to be as buddy-buddy as
<v Speaker 1>they are right now. It says, not only do you
<v Speaker 1>have two teams who don't like each other, but they're
<v Speaker 1>not exactly cordial with their own teammates either, and if
<v Speaker 1>they want to throw Roman, Jacob, and the Usos in there,
<v Speaker 1>make it a three-way. And if it has to be five-on-five-on-five,
<v Speaker 1>which it doesn't, then they can add Obafemi to the
<v Speaker 1>Babyface team, Drew McIntyre to the Heel team, and NXT's
<v Speaker 1>Zillifah II to the Bloodline team. Yeah, I think that's overkill.
<v Speaker 1>I definitely would not do five-on-five-on-five. You know, you still
<v Speaker 1>have to have other matches on the card. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>not that they had a lot of matches last year.
<v Speaker 1>Last year they had four fucking matches, I think, on
<v Speaker 1>the entire card. But, yeah, I'm not a fan of
<v Speaker 1>doing five-on-five-on-five. Maybe four-on-four-on-four. Or just do, again, just do
<v Speaker 1>a traditional five-on-five. I think the teams that you mentioned here, Cody, Punk, Balor, KO,
<v Speaker 1>against Sammy, Orton, Gunther. I mean, yeah, I could see that.
<v Speaker 1>I could see that. But remember, I mean, even if
<v Speaker 1>they don't have a lot of matches on that show,
<v Speaker 1>they do have to have other matches. So you can't
<v Speaker 1>just throw everybody into war games, because that's pretty lame.
<v Speaker 1>Still got to fill out the rest of the card.
<v Speaker 1>That just sounds like a clusterfuck. It's like those old
<v Speaker 1>three-ring WCW World War III battle royals. It was so
<v Speaker 1>bad they had to have three smaller inset screens to
<v Speaker 1>keep track of everything that was going on. By the way,
<v Speaker 1>the way WWE does these WarGames matches, I'm not sure
<v Speaker 1>they would have enough weapons for people to collect because
<v Speaker 1>you know the way it works in WWE. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>it's a requirement. It's a mandate for these matches that
<v Speaker 1>when you come out from your cage or wherever you're
<v Speaker 1>coming from, you have to grab a weapon. You have
<v Speaker 1>to have a weapon first. Right? Isn't that how it works?
<v Speaker 1>Everybody has a fucking weapon before they come in. Was
<v Speaker 1>that 15 weapons you got to come up with? Noah Kirby,
<v Speaker 1>what would you do to fix the state of the
<v Speaker 1>tag team division? What would I do? I would start
<v Speaker 1>adding more teams and I would take the tag team
<v Speaker 1>division seriously. Sounds pretty simple. It's not that simple in
<v Speaker 1>terms of the tag teams just because of who's available
<v Speaker 1>I don't know how many great tag teams would even
<v Speaker 1>be available right now but you've got to start creating
<v Speaker 1>new teams from even like from NXT you've got to
<v Speaker 1>recruit new teams and you've just got to place a
<v Speaker 1>priority on tag team wrestling if you want to build
<v Speaker 1>up your tag team division it's actually very simple dry
<v Speaker 1>chicken With a $ 5 super chat, I'm setting the bar
<v Speaker 1>real low tonight. I would rather watch AJ Francis segments
<v Speaker 1>from TNA over the Judgment Day. Well, I mean, don't
<v Speaker 1>say that now. G. Barry Free. I think you're right
<v Speaker 1>on Jacob being aligned with the Oakland group, but why
<v Speaker 1>would Hobbs be cool with Jacob after the attack on
<v Speaker 1>Raw a few weeks ago? Well, it kind of knocks
<v Speaker 1>some sense into him. Or, everybody was talking about how
<v Speaker 1>ridiculous that looked, by the way, with the blood. Because
<v Speaker 1>it looked like radioactive coming out of his mouth. I said,
<v Speaker 1>that doesn't look like real blood. You want to make
<v Speaker 1>it look real, at least. Maybe it wasn't. Maybe in
<v Speaker 1>storyline it wasn't real blood. Maybe the whole thing has
<v Speaker 1>been an act from the very beginning. That would at
<v Speaker 1>least explain how ridiculous the blood looked in that segment.
<v Speaker 1>Dry Chicken says, Paige versus Nikki Bella having their storyline
<v Speaker 1>rivalry in the wrong company. They should have chosen TNA
<v Speaker 1>or AAA. The storylines would have been more spicy. In AAA,
<v Speaker 1>it would not have been any more spicy. You're still
<v Speaker 1>under the WWE umbrella. There's not a lot they're going
<v Speaker 1>to let you get away with. We got Malakai Cross.
<v Speaker 1>buy sell or rent on which event would go which
<v Speaker 1>event would go to what I go to you mean
<v Speaker 1>SummerSlam in Hawaii Royal Rumble in Brazil WrestleMania in New
<v Speaker 1>Zealand I would love to go to Hawaii I've never
<v Speaker 1>been to Hawaii before how hot does it get though
<v Speaker 1>in the summer in Hawaii I would say maybe SummerSlam
<v Speaker 1>in Hawaii. Actually, this is a trick question now. With
<v Speaker 1>these TKO ticket prices, the answer is none of them.
<v Speaker 1>I would go to none of them. I have to
<v Speaker 1>be here anyway. But if you force me to pick,
<v Speaker 1>I would go SummerSlam in Hawaii. I would rent. Enough.
<v Speaker 1>This is a 20-minute promo. I think I would probably
<v Speaker 1>rent on Rumble in Brazil and then sell on WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>in New Zealand. Nothing against my friends and fans in
<v Speaker 1>New Zealand, though. But I would have to probably sell
<v Speaker 1>on that one. They're going to Hawaii next month. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>but not for SummerSlam. Bosmo Jackson with a $ 4. 99 says...
<v Speaker 1>I never saw the hype with Rey Mysterio. His finisher
<v Speaker 1>is weak, and his moveset is not impactful. Nothing he
<v Speaker 1>does looks like it would hurt anyone. He's just there.
<v Speaker 1>This is what you call rage bait. A poor attempt
<v Speaker 1>at rage bait. I don't necessarily disagree about his finish,
<v Speaker 1>but I mean, if you don't get the hype around
<v Speaker 1>Rey Mysterio, then my guess is you probably only really
<v Speaker 1>started watching Rey Mysterio within the last 20 years and
<v Speaker 1>you missed out on everything Rey Mysterio from the 1990s.
<v Speaker 1>Dry Chicken with a 12. Says, I have some nice
<v Speaker 1>bad ideas here. Says Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vicaire. Sending
<v Speaker 1>spicy orange pepper burritos. And other spicy food to the
<v Speaker 1>Judgment Day. I don't think that would work. Didn't Dom
<v Speaker 1>and Liv do an episode of Hot Ones? And I
<v Speaker 1>don't recall either one of them being bad with spicy food.
<v Speaker 1>They might actually enjoy it. Robby. Says, why not have
<v Speaker 1>Javon pin the guy holding a worthless title? Who's used
<v Speaker 1>to taking pins? Why would you have him pin Cass
<v Speaker 1>clean and go home? Nerfed. No, he's not nerfed. He's fine. Again,
<v Speaker 1>I greatly dislike how there's this belief among some fans
<v Speaker 1>that when you lose one match, you're nerfed or you're buried.
<v Speaker 1>That's not how this works. Now, if it becomes a pattern,
<v Speaker 1>then sure, then you would be right. One match is
<v Speaker 1>not a pattern, though. One match is just that. It's
<v Speaker 1>one match. If it were up to me, I agree.
<v Speaker 1>I would have had Austin. Like, Austin Theory should always
<v Speaker 1>be the fall guy. The reason they didn't have Austin
<v Speaker 1>Theory take the pin is because at the moment, they're
<v Speaker 1>trying to build the vision back up as something special, right?
<v Speaker 1>They're back at full strength. He's got a girlfriend now.
<v Speaker 1>He's won half of the tag team champions, even though
<v Speaker 1>those belts don't mean jack shit. But now they're in
<v Speaker 1>like push the vision mode because they got everybody back.
<v Speaker 1>So they didn't want to beat him. It's the only
<v Speaker 1>reason he didn't take the pinfall loss here. I would
<v Speaker 1>say the theory is going to be safe for a
<v Speaker 1>few weeks and then he'll be right back to, you know,
<v Speaker 1>basically being in the spot he was in before. Mossmo
<v Speaker 1>Jackson says, top five favorite horror movies from the 80s.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, in no particular order, I would say The
<v Speaker 1>Thing is probably at the top of the list. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, The Thing would probably be number one. Fright
<v Speaker 1>Night was a great one. And then, of course, there
<v Speaker 1>were some of the Halloween movies. Halloween 3, I don't
<v Speaker 1>give a shit what anybody says. It's a great movie.
<v Speaker 1>Halloween four. Very good too. That one had Michael Myers
<v Speaker 1>back in it. So what is that? Three, four, four
<v Speaker 1>of them. What am I missing? I don't know. Take
<v Speaker 1>your pick. I mean, there were a lot of great Friday,
<v Speaker 1>the 13th ones too. Part three is probably my favorite.
<v Speaker 1>Death Scythe. What if the streak was still intact until
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania 33 and Roman Reigns became the one in 24
<v Speaker 1>and one? I wonder what the crowd reaction would have
<v Speaker 1>been like. I think that would have been even worse
<v Speaker 1>because by that point he was in such bad shape
<v Speaker 1>with his hip and everything else that that match was terrible.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, look, the match with Brock was terrible, but
<v Speaker 1>the reason it was terrible is because he got his
<v Speaker 1>fucking head concussed five minutes in. That was probably the
<v Speaker 1>worst match I've ever seen the two of them have.
<v Speaker 1>Was that WrestleMania 30 match. But the reason that match
<v Speaker 1>is memorable is because of the finish. That's an all-timer.
<v Speaker 1>It's an all-time moment. If you just take it based
<v Speaker 1>on the match itself, it is the worst, most forgettable
<v Speaker 1>match those two ever had. The match with Roman at 33.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, it really wasn't much better. You know, yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I was there for both of those matches, too, and
<v Speaker 1>I can tell you the people in the crowd were
<v Speaker 1>reacting to it accordingly. They were not very enamored with
<v Speaker 1>either one of those matches, but the WrestleMania 33 match
<v Speaker 1>was just sad. I think the moment where I really
<v Speaker 1>had secondhand embarrassment in that Orlando match, they tried to
<v Speaker 1>do the spot. I think it was Undertaker tried to
<v Speaker 1>give Roman a tombstone And it was a Tombstone reversal spot,
<v Speaker 1>which he's done a bunch of times in, like Undertaker
<v Speaker 1>has done a bunch of times in his matches over
<v Speaker 1>the years. And he couldn't. like he couldn't get himself
<v Speaker 1>up for it so they kind of fell over and
<v Speaker 1>then he tried again and he tried to kick himself
<v Speaker 1>up but he just fell back down and I was
<v Speaker 1>like oh man and this is WrestleMania it's the WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>main event it was it was embarrassing And I know
<v Speaker 1>he looks back on that match too and is embarrassed.
<v Speaker 1>He talked about that in his documentary series. So if
<v Speaker 1>that was the match with this big streak-ending moment, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know. I just think it would have come off
<v Speaker 1>very sad. Abyssal Zones, WWE gave this hot crowd a
<v Speaker 1>lot of downer endings. Um, I don't know. Tonight, really,
<v Speaker 1>it was just the opening match and the main event match.
<v Speaker 1>Unless you're counting SmackDown from Friday. Yeah, they weren't too
<v Speaker 1>happy to see Sami Zayn beat CM Punk, but I mean,
<v Speaker 1>they were probably happy to see a WWE title change
<v Speaker 1>on the show. Griga. As a Latino-Mexican, Roman can blank.
<v Speaker 1>and then he says, insert Cody line. Go fuck yourself!
<v Speaker 1>There you go, Griega. Thank you, Griega. I think Griega
<v Speaker 1>also gifted a channel membership earlier. Thank you, Griega. Thank you, Griega. Here,
<v Speaker 1>from the Gringo. MGM Ballin with a 999. As Cole
<v Speaker 1>and Joe Tess would say... Your new women's champion, La Primera,
<v Speaker 1>Stephanie Vakur. Well, no, I mean, if you really want
<v Speaker 1>to do a Joe Tess impression, you would say Jade Cargill.
<v Speaker 1>Jade Cargill is here. Daryl Strawberry with a $ 5 super chat.
<v Speaker 1>Freeze hits it front and center. We will see you
<v Speaker 1>tomorrow night. Thank you, Daryl Strawberry. Oh, is that true?
<v Speaker 1>Grigas says, gifted myself by the powers of the rando.
<v Speaker 1>Did you gift yourself? It is totally random. I didn't
<v Speaker 1>realize you could end up gifting yourself a membership. That's
<v Speaker 1>fine with me. Uh, GMB, Roman's teeth are so unsettling, dude. Um...
<v Speaker 1>you know what it reminds me of? It reminds me of,
<v Speaker 1>do any of you watch Mike Francesa? Used to be
<v Speaker 1>on the radio here in New York on WFAN. He's
<v Speaker 1>on YouTube now. So Mike's been a sports talk radio
<v Speaker 1>guy for like centuries at this point. But he, he got,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know how long ago he got veneers. And like,
<v Speaker 1>I have to, It's like you have to wear sunglasses
<v Speaker 1>when you watch him. It's just, it's so blinding. Like why?
<v Speaker 1>I don't, I mean, look, God bless him, but I
<v Speaker 1>don't know, man. I don't know how that works. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if it's like you get to pick like shades.
<v Speaker 1>Why wouldn't you go for like one or two shades
<v Speaker 1>below the max? Again, maybe, maybe that's not how it works. Like,
<v Speaker 1>is there one that's, like, human? And go with the
<v Speaker 1>human one. I don't know. I would just think that
<v Speaker 1>you would want to go with one that is, like,
<v Speaker 1>if you're given on a scale, you would want to
<v Speaker 1>go not with the bottom one, obviously, and not with
<v Speaker 1>the top one, but you would go with something that's, like,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, maybe two or three off from the top.
<v Speaker 1>It's brighter than the sun, yes. Yes. I don't know. Hey,
<v Speaker 1>whatever makes you happy, I guess. Dallas. Dallas with a five.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe Roman and Mike, maybe they went to the same guy.
<v Speaker 1>Dallas with a five says, buy or sell on which
<v Speaker 1>tag team signing was the better signing? Lucha Bros to
<v Speaker 1>WWE or or Aussie Open to AEW. Hmm. You know what?
<v Speaker 1>Those were two great signings. I would say Lucha Bros,
<v Speaker 1>because right now, Phoenix has become a pretty big fixture
<v Speaker 1>on the AAA brand. Penta is positioned pretty well on
<v Speaker 1>the WWE brand, and they're probably making a lot of
<v Speaker 1>money off him merch-wise, too. So I got to go
<v Speaker 1>Lucha Bros. But Kyle Fletcher is in a position where
<v Speaker 1>he's one of their top young stars, and he'll probably
<v Speaker 1>be a world champion there one day. Mark Davis, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I had almost written him off just because of the
<v Speaker 1>injuries that he had. And there was a bad wrist injury,
<v Speaker 1>and I think there was another injury, maybe like a
<v Speaker 1>foot injury. And I'm like, man, this guy can't catch
<v Speaker 1>a break. And then finally, it's like he's getting a
<v Speaker 1>singles push, and I've really enjoyed his work. He's another
<v Speaker 1>one I put on my list. before the super chat
<v Speaker 1>that came in he's he's one of my favorites right
<v Speaker 1>now so i don't know if he'll ever be a
<v Speaker 1>guy that's like a top guy there or anything like
<v Speaker 1>that but like mark davis is doing pretty good he's
<v Speaker 1>a hell of a hand for them to have and
<v Speaker 1>fletcher i think is part of the future of that
<v Speaker 1>company so i mean you can't go wrong in either
<v Speaker 1>case by the way what a great tag team match
<v Speaker 1>that would be the lucha bros against aussie like modern
<v Speaker 1>day lucha bros against aussie open 20-minute promo. I give
<v Speaker 1>WWE credit for making me believe that Penta could possibly
<v Speaker 1>pull off a miracle, even if it was just a
<v Speaker 1>temporary title swap. The only Roman title defense so far
<v Speaker 1>this year that genuinely felt somewhat unpredictable. They got you.
<v Speaker 1>They got you. They got me. They got a lot
<v Speaker 1>of people. They got you to buy in. That's the
<v Speaker 1>whole point. Don't worry, we're six out of ten on
<v Speaker 1>the bonus goal. We've already hit the main goal. So
<v Speaker 1>we got one round to be the booker coming your way.
<v Speaker 1>But we're already beyond the halfway point on the bonus one, too.
<v Speaker 1>So I did refresh be the booker. I haven't refreshed
<v Speaker 1>the tag team one yet. But the men's round, the
<v Speaker 1>women's round, the stipulations around, they have all been updated.
<v Speaker 1>So FYI. does Roman's mouth glow in the dark when
<v Speaker 1>he sleeps? It might. It'd be an easy way to
<v Speaker 1>find him in the dark. Mike with a five. Why
<v Speaker 1>do you think American fans have, or why don't you
<v Speaker 1>think American fans have realized he's a heel yet? After
<v Speaker 1>this performance, I want Penta to win the briefcase. Could
<v Speaker 1>be fun. You know, it could be, but it's like,
<v Speaker 1>it's not going to ever match the moment that it
<v Speaker 1>would have been tonight. You know? That's the one thing, like,
<v Speaker 1>I would love to see him one day actually win
<v Speaker 1>the big one. I'm not saying that that day won't
<v Speaker 1>ever come, but I don't know that there'll ever be
<v Speaker 1>a more perfect moment than the one that they had tonight.
<v Speaker 1>I felt the same way about Drew and Cardiff. But
<v Speaker 1>eventually Drew got his moment. Sammy got his moment. Hopefully
<v Speaker 1>one day Penta will get his. As far as why
<v Speaker 1>American fans don't realize he's a heel yet, I think
<v Speaker 1>it's a combination of them either not realizing it or
<v Speaker 1>they just don't care. They think he's cool. He's a
<v Speaker 1>big star. So they want to cheer for the big star.
<v Speaker 1>They think it's cool when he comes out. They want
<v Speaker 1>to put their finger in the air. They want to
<v Speaker 1>acknowledge him. I think that's a big part of it.
<v Speaker 1>But the Bloodline stuff has been so up and down
<v Speaker 1>in terms of like one week, it feels like they're
<v Speaker 1>supposed to be babyfaces. The next week, they're clear heels.
<v Speaker 1>It's very, I don't know, it's very wishy-washy right now.
<v Speaker 1>Broly says, have you seen the Smile movies? If not,
<v Speaker 1>you should. I've not. Are they worth seeing? I've not
<v Speaker 1>seen any of the Smile movies. Mike with a five.
<v Speaker 1>You know TKO ain't gonna have their golden Samoan lose.
<v Speaker 1>I just hope Penta is not dropped back down the card.
<v Speaker 1>He deserves to be a main eventer. Well, he is
<v Speaker 1>gonna be dropped down the card for the time being because...
<v Speaker 1>He's not getting another title shot anytime soon. And right
<v Speaker 1>now they're moving on to LA Knight in this 9-4-6 stuff.
<v Speaker 1>He doesn't really factor into any of that. Problem is
<v Speaker 1>he doesn't really factor into the IC title picture either
<v Speaker 1>because he had the title. Gable beat him for it.
<v Speaker 1>and now it's Gable's time. So I don't know where
<v Speaker 1>he's going to be slotted into next. That's a good question.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know where he really belongs right now on Raw. Jeremy,
<v Speaker 1>why is it WWE can't find a way to have
<v Speaker 1>Roman lose and still protect him like they do with
<v Speaker 1>Punk and Cody, who were just as big superstars as him? Well,
<v Speaker 1>to WWE, maybe that's not true. Maybe they see Roman
<v Speaker 1>as the superstar. I just think it has more to
<v Speaker 1>do with they have their plans for Roman and And
<v Speaker 1>they want to protect him as much as possible. So
<v Speaker 1>let's say it's Oba or whoever that guy is going
<v Speaker 1>to be. It'll be a more meaningful moment. They don't
<v Speaker 1>want to play hot potato with his belt when they
<v Speaker 1>can do that with the other belt on the other show.
<v Speaker 1>They're not going to do it with both belts. They've
<v Speaker 1>already made their choice. They'll do it with the WWE Championship.
<v Speaker 1>But they're not going to do that with the World
<v Speaker 1>Heavyweight Championship if they're already doing it with the WWE titles.
<v Speaker 1>Bobby Means, I like the idea that you presented on
<v Speaker 1>your SmackDown review about making war games for the WWE
<v Speaker 1>title instead of a traditional war games match. Yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>pitched it because I like the idea too. Again, I
<v Speaker 1>don't think realistically they're going to do it. But the
<v Speaker 1>competition right now is such on SmackDown that you could
<v Speaker 1>justify it by just deviate from the usual format for
<v Speaker 1>the men's match. You could do a traditional women's war
<v Speaker 1>games match. But on the men's side, it's like we're
<v Speaker 1>doing something a little bit different this year. Everybody wants
<v Speaker 1>the WWE Championship. Everybody thinks they deserve next in line.
<v Speaker 1>Sami Zayn has pissed everybody off. He's screwed over multiple people.
<v Speaker 1>You're not going to get yours until I get mine. Well,
<v Speaker 1>now you've got yours, and everybody else is going to
<v Speaker 1>get theirs. And so he's the centerpiece of that match,
<v Speaker 1>and you have five or six other people at timed
<v Speaker 1>intervals who enter the double cage... And it's just a free-for-all.
<v Speaker 1>And again, it could be one fall to a finish.
<v Speaker 1>You could do elimination style. But now you're getting into,
<v Speaker 1>you know, politics where you got some big names in
<v Speaker 1>there and maybe you don't want to pin this guy
<v Speaker 1>and pin that guy and pin that guy. Elimination would
<v Speaker 1>be cool, but even if it's one fall to a finish.
<v Speaker 1>I think that could work. Sammy and Gunther and Balor,
<v Speaker 1>Gargano and Cody and Punk. Owens. Orton. You tell me
<v Speaker 1>you don't have enough people? Come on. You know that
<v Speaker 1>could work. 20-minute promo. Three versus three versus three. War Games.
<v Speaker 1>9-4-6 versus Roman and the Usos versus LA Knight, Solo,
<v Speaker 1>and maybe Jacob finally standing up to Roman. and siding
<v Speaker 1>with the good guys only for the swerve at war
<v Speaker 1>games being Jacob aligns with 946 and they leave everybody
<v Speaker 1>laying that would be one way to get Jacob linked
<v Speaker 1>up with the 946 group so but are you suggesting
<v Speaker 1>then that Jacob splits away from Roman at money in
<v Speaker 1>the bank Am I to assume that you believe that
<v Speaker 1>LA Knight is going to win the World Heavyweight Championship?
<v Speaker 1>Or would Jacob maybe break away from Roman after the match?
<v Speaker 1>Alex with the $ 10 Super Chat. Brother Solo, the main
<v Speaker 1>event reminded me of Cena versus RVD, a one-night stand
<v Speaker 1>in terms of crowd reaction and a hostile atmosphere. Fantastic match.
<v Speaker 1>Very similar. It was a very similar dynamic. That's a
<v Speaker 1>good shout, Alex. Thank you for that. Barry with a 5.
<v Speaker 1>If you plan on watching any of the MCU shows,
<v Speaker 1>you must see Loki. I loved it so much. It's
<v Speaker 1>the best thing after Endgame. That's about the only series
<v Speaker 1>that I had on my list of things that people
<v Speaker 1>recommended that I watch. They said it's not just a
<v Speaker 1>great show, it's important to watch, I think, the first,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know how many seasons there are, but like
<v Speaker 1>the first two seasons. So I don't know if I'll
<v Speaker 1>get to it or not, but it's on my list. Ah, John,
<v Speaker 1>with a super chat. The pop in Chile wasn't just
<v Speaker 1>a hometown pop. It was the cathartic moment of both
<v Speaker 1>the crowd and Stephanie making their dream come true together.
<v Speaker 1>It was a magic night. That's a very deep way
<v Speaker 1>of putting it. I mean, it was cool to watch
<v Speaker 1>the fan clips. I can only imagine what it was
<v Speaker 1>like being in the building. Jeremy Rose, do the bronze
<v Speaker 1>turn on theory and become badasses? I would think if
<v Speaker 1>they were going to, they would have done it by now.
<v Speaker 1>Doesn't look like it. Wish they would have done it
<v Speaker 1>a long time ago. Says they can make the vision
<v Speaker 1>something again. Dude, the vision needs to die. The vision
<v Speaker 1>should not be a thing anymore. They don't need the vision.
<v Speaker 1>They don't even need each other. But even if you
<v Speaker 1>wanted to keep them together as sometimes partners, sometimes friends,
<v Speaker 1>like that's cool. But like the collective vision, Logan Paul,
<v Speaker 1>Austin Theory, Maxine Dupree. Austin Theory and Maxine Dupree need
<v Speaker 1>the vision more than the vision needs them. Or more
<v Speaker 1>than the other members of the vision need them. Even
<v Speaker 1>Logan Paul doesn't need this. And John says, I saw
<v Speaker 1>marriage proposals, adults and children crying together and strangers hugging
<v Speaker 1>each other. I hope you can check some fan footage
<v Speaker 1>because it really felt like magic. A lot of manly
<v Speaker 1>tears were shed. So were you there? You were there then.
<v Speaker 1>I think John was actually at the show is what
<v Speaker 1>I'm getting out of this. Which would be very cool.
<v Speaker 1>Marriage proposals, you say? You know, if that was like
<v Speaker 1>a sporting event here in the States... You would have
<v Speaker 1>had cars overturned. You would have had fucking fires breaking
<v Speaker 1>out in the streets. Apparently that's how they celebrate when
<v Speaker 1>their team wins, and that's how they celebrate when their
<v Speaker 1>team loses sometimes. Doesn't really make a whole lot of
<v Speaker 1>sense to me, but I like what you describe more.
<v Speaker 1>Sounds like everybody was just having a really good time. Oh,
<v Speaker 1>who else we got left here? We got dark chocolate
<v Speaker 1>31 with a $ 5 super chat. Oh, that was John.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know why over here it shows the handle,
<v Speaker 1>but on the other screen, it shows the, the username. Well,
<v Speaker 1>we got Jeremy with a five add Penta to the
<v Speaker 1>list of guys that fans want to get the title.
<v Speaker 1>KO LA night and Penta who gets it first. Is
<v Speaker 1>there anyone I forgot? Kevin Owens, LA Knight, Penta. I
<v Speaker 1>think those are the main ones people really talk about
<v Speaker 1>the most. Honestly, of those three that you just named,
<v Speaker 1>I think Kevin Owens gets it first. Especially Sammy Zane
<v Speaker 1>now has it back. I mean, Sammy has the championship.
<v Speaker 1>It would be kind of poetic if it was Owens
<v Speaker 1>who was the one who took it off of him.
<v Speaker 1>Of those three, though, I'm going to say it's Kevin Owens.
<v Speaker 1>That's just a Wednesday afternoon in Chicago. I'll be in
<v Speaker 1>Chicago in a few weeks. I've been to Chicago many times.
<v Speaker 1>I haven't seen that myself. 20-minute promo with a five.
<v Speaker 1>I think what happens at Money in the Bank could
<v Speaker 1>be the catalyst of Jacobs splitting from the bloodline. But
<v Speaker 1>I don't think Roman drops the belt until 43. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I'm with you on that. Again, I think the play
<v Speaker 1>here is Roman, Oba at 43. Oba gets the win.
<v Speaker 1>And in their mind, keep Roman as strong and protected
<v Speaker 1>as possible so that when Oba beats him, he does
<v Speaker 1>what nobody else has been able to do. It makes
<v Speaker 1>him look like that much more of a world beater.
<v Speaker 1>That's what I think the idea is. Anyway, I think
<v Speaker 1>that's all of them. Again, the wheel earlier said, what
<v Speaker 1>was it, 465, I do believe. We are currently sitting at,
<v Speaker 1>what are we sitting at here? Is it 537? Yeah, well,
<v Speaker 1>we're way past the goal. So we are going to
<v Speaker 1>do one round of be the booker. And that round
<v Speaker 1>begins right now. Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time
<v Speaker 1>to be the booker. We didn't even have the title
<v Speaker 1>screen on. I'll put it on now, but B the
<v Speaker 1>Booker was like, hey, we're ready to go here. We
<v Speaker 1>ain't got no time to waste. We got to get
<v Speaker 1>right into it. So we will start with the tag
<v Speaker 1>teams as we usually do. We just got done talking
<v Speaker 1>about a couple of great tag teams, the Lucha Bros
<v Speaker 1>and Aussie Open, both of whom are actually in here.
<v Speaker 1>That may be the match. Can you imagine that's the
<v Speaker 1>match that we booked tonight? Oh, man. Well, it won't be,
<v Speaker 1>but we have the American males. Marcus Alexander Bagwell, who
<v Speaker 1>was deemed the rookie of the year in WCW back
<v Speaker 1>in what I want to say was 1992? 92 or 93?
<v Speaker 1>And Scotty Riggs. And they are going to be up against...
<v Speaker 1>The British Bulldogs. Davey Boy Smith and the Dynamite Kid.
<v Speaker 1>He has a big smile on his face, but don't
<v Speaker 1>let that smile deceive you. He was actually quite an
<v Speaker 1>evil man. Great wrestler. Great wrestler, but he was an
<v Speaker 1>evil SOB. All right, women's be the booker. We need
<v Speaker 1>a good ladies match. The original clap. Yeah, Chad Gable
<v Speaker 1>has the clap. Well, let me rephrase that. Chad Gable
<v Speaker 1>does the clap for his entrance, but the American males,
<v Speaker 1>I think they did it first. I mean, these were
<v Speaker 1>ladies' men back then. I'm sure the American males did
<v Speaker 1>have the clap back then. When they were on the road,
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure they had a lot of different things. We
<v Speaker 1>have Charlotte Flair. Former women's champion multiple times. I don't
<v Speaker 1>even know how many women's titles has she won. 13?
<v Speaker 1>Is she a 13-time now? 14-time? I don't know how
<v Speaker 1>many times. She's been champion many times. Charlotte Flair. Against Bayley.
<v Speaker 1>A battle of two of the four horsewomen. Okay. That works.
<v Speaker 1>They've both been women's champion several times before. And our
<v Speaker 1>main event. 14 plus two NXT. Really? So that's 14
<v Speaker 1>without the NXT run. Are you sure about that? That
<v Speaker 1>it's 14, not counting NXT? I'm not sure about that.
<v Speaker 1>Our main event is going to be Sami Zayn. Look
<v Speaker 1>at him enjoying his new WWE championship, driving around town
<v Speaker 1>in his rental car with his belt. He's so happy.
<v Speaker 1>Two-time now. A two-time champion. Sammy's already got a lot
<v Speaker 1>of challengers lined up on SmackDown, so what's one more?
<v Speaker 1>Sammy Zayn against, oh my God, against, as if he
<v Speaker 1>doesn't have enough belts as it is, Triple H. They
<v Speaker 1>did get the clean sweep here, but Sammy Zayn How
<v Speaker 1>many days did he have the belt the first time?
<v Speaker 1>Nine days? Poor Sami Zayn. He's not even going to
<v Speaker 1>get a full seven days as the WWE champion because
<v Speaker 1>his run is about to come to a crashing halt.
<v Speaker 1>It's all over. Sami Zayn has been buried. His title
<v Speaker 1>run is already over. Poor Sami. Ah, terrible. Terrible, terrible, terrible.
<v Speaker 1>I feel bad for the man. And Tracking Problems says
<v Speaker 1>both Smile films are great. Watch them in October. I'm
<v Speaker 1>already getting ready for the annual AMC Fear Fest in October.
<v Speaker 1>Between that and the Marvel movies, I don't have much
<v Speaker 1>time for many other movies. Although there are movies I
<v Speaker 1>will be going to see. I think that other Mommy
<v Speaker 1>movie comes out October 9th, I think it is. And
<v Speaker 1>then actually the Street Fighter movie comes out in October.
<v Speaker 1>I think I'm going to watch that Whale Fall movie.
<v Speaker 1>That looks kind of freaky. And then definitely seeing Clayface.
<v Speaker 1>Clayface comes out the week before Halloween, which is perfect.
<v Speaker 1>That's a lot. Juan Ocampo. is coming in with a
<v Speaker 1>four 99 says, uh, hello, my friend. I was watching
<v Speaker 1>the WWE, uh, nine 11 doc the other day. Was
<v Speaker 1>that Vince McMahon's best baby face promo? Did you watch
<v Speaker 1>that episode of smack? Did he talk about the first
<v Speaker 1>smack down after nine 11? Yeah. Uh, yeah. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>he was definitely cutting a, I mean, I guess you
<v Speaker 1>would call it a baby face promo. If you consider
<v Speaker 1>that like the Mr. McMahon character, or is that just
<v Speaker 1>Vince McMahon out there cutting a very patriotic promo? Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I remember that. I watched it live. That was on
<v Speaker 1>a Thursday. I think back then they were still taping.
<v Speaker 1>I want to say back then they were still taping
<v Speaker 1>Smackdown on Tuesdays. But since the attacks happened on Tuesday,
<v Speaker 1>they went live on Thursday. And I want to say
<v Speaker 1>they were at the Compact Center in Dallas. Or Houston,
<v Speaker 1>maybe Houston. And I actually, I think, was the main
<v Speaker 1>event of that show Kurt Angle against Rhino? I believe
<v Speaker 1>it was. Yeah, well, Resident Evil comes out this week.
<v Speaker 1>I was hoping to see it on Thursday. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know what's going on now, but yeah, Resident Evil is
<v Speaker 1>out this week. Have I ever seen the 2014 Creep movie? No.
<v Speaker 1>I've seen Creepshow and Creepshow 2. I've never seen Creep.
<v Speaker 1>There's a song, too, called Creep. It was in Houston
<v Speaker 1>that night, live on UPN. I remember the early days
<v Speaker 1>of SmackDown on UPN and they were hyping this UPN show.
<v Speaker 1>It was like a sitcom comedy type show. Shasta McNasty.
<v Speaker 1>You remember that show? Shasta McNasty. God, who was the
<v Speaker 1>fucking guy on that show? It was like Nick Nolte's
<v Speaker 1>kid or something. I think Big Show did a guest
<v Speaker 1>appearance on there. I don't know why that show. I
<v Speaker 1>still remember that. Shasta McNasty. I don't even think I've
<v Speaker 1>heard of the show or said the name of the show.
<v Speaker 1>Probably since the year it aired. But that just came
<v Speaker 1>to me. I can't remember too many other UPN original
<v Speaker 1>shows from back then. Oh, Jake Busey. Yes. What did
<v Speaker 1>I say? I said Nick Nolte. Not Nick Nolte. Gary Busey.
<v Speaker 1>That's right. His son. Yeah, Gary Busey. The winner that
<v Speaker 1>he is. Did you hear that there might be a
<v Speaker 1>new Halloween movie coming out in 2028? I heard something
<v Speaker 1>about that, like Miramax or something is going to release
<v Speaker 1>like a 50th anniversary thing. God, really? 50 years? Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I guess the first one came out in 1978. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if that's just a rumor or if that's
<v Speaker 1>actually happening. But we just had like three Halloween movies
<v Speaker 1>a few years ago. I don't know that we need
<v Speaker 1>another one so soon. Creep is a very good found
<v Speaker 1>footage psychological horror movie. Speaking of found footage and things
<v Speaker 1>I had heard, aren't they supposed to be doing another
<v Speaker 1>Blair Witch movie? Maybe a reboot? I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>it's a sequel, but I remember hearing about that recently. Hey,
<v Speaker 1>Tracking Problems, thank you. They need to retire the Halloween movie.
<v Speaker 1>I got to look into this Halloween game that just
<v Speaker 1>came out. Yeah, see, so I'm not crazy. There's something
<v Speaker 1>with Blair Witch that I heard. But yes, we are
<v Speaker 1>heading into October very soon, which is my favorite month, so.
<v Speaker 1>always very excited for Halloween season. Thank you guys for
<v Speaker 1>a fun stream tonight. Great Raw, and hopefully they can
<v Speaker 1>follow up on it with a better than usual SmackDown
<v Speaker 1>on Friday. I don't know where SmackDown is on Friday,
<v Speaker 1>but We will have a new WWE champion when the
<v Speaker 1>show goes on the air. Tomorrow will be a brand
<v Speaker 1>new episode of the Uncrowned Wrestling Show coming your way
<v Speaker 1>later in the day tomorrow. You can subscribe to the
<v Speaker 1>Ariel Helwani Show feed where all of his shows are
<v Speaker 1>uploaded and the Uncrowned Wrestling Show will be one of them.
<v Speaker 1>But there is also a separate dedicated feed only for
<v Speaker 1>the Uncrowned Wrestling Show if that's your preference. Wherever you
<v Speaker 1>get it from, as long as you tune in, that's
<v Speaker 1>all that matters. And then tomorrow night, Tuesday Night Titans. Wednesday,
<v Speaker 1>the Dynamite post-show. And as I mentioned, SmackDown coming up
<v Speaker 1>on Friday. If you missed episode 980 of The Sound Off,
<v Speaker 1>that also went up yesterday. 20. We're 20 away. Abyssal Zones.
<v Speaker 1>If Fought 2 is with 946... I could maybe see
<v Speaker 1>them attacking night and rains at money in the bank,
<v Speaker 1>causing night and solo to reluctantly team with the bloodline
<v Speaker 1>at war games. So LA night and solo Sokoa put
<v Speaker 1>their differences aside with the bloodline. Well, well, okay. So
<v Speaker 1>here's the, here's the problem with that. Roman. Well then,
<v Speaker 1>so I'm assuming you believe Jacob is going to end
<v Speaker 1>up with nine, four, six, then be, Right, okay, well,
<v Speaker 1>you said that. So, Royce, Jacob, and OTM is four. Roman,
<v Speaker 1>the Usos, there's an imbalance there. It doesn't really work.
<v Speaker 1>There would have to be another member of 9-4-6 to
<v Speaker 1>make that work. Otherwise, then, I think it's five on four.
<v Speaker 1>Zilla joins 9-4-6 and Jacob. There you go. Zilla was
<v Speaker 1>the missing ingredient there. I could see that. And again,
<v Speaker 1>Zilla is a Houston guy. And Survivor Series happens to
<v Speaker 1>be in Houston. So if he's only in NXT for
<v Speaker 1>a short time, well, when would be the right time
<v Speaker 1>to get him on the main roster? You get him
<v Speaker 1>up there in time for war games. That would make sense.
<v Speaker 1>So you may be on to something there. Anyway, be well,
<v Speaker 1>stay safe, have yourselves a great rest of your night
<v Speaker 1>and week. I will see you tomorrow for all the
<v Speaker 1>shows and then back here on this channel on Wednesday
<v Speaker 1>night for the Dynamite stream. We'll have some fun then.
<v Speaker 1>Until then, take care, guys.
