<v Speaker 1>It is another Wednesday night, it is time to talk

<v Speaker 1>AEW Dynamite. A very different Dynamite show than the one

<v Speaker 1>we had last week. Last week really wasn't so much

<v Speaker 1>about the matches or even a lot of storyline stuff.

<v Speaker 1>And was one of the better shows they've done all year,

<v Speaker 1>very emotional show. This week it was full steam ahead

<v Speaker 1>to All Out, which is coming up next weekend. And

<v Speaker 1>we had at the conclusion of the show tonight, one

<v Speaker 1>of many... multi-man tag team matches on this show. Tony

<v Speaker 1>Khan was back to multi-man madness on this show. We

<v Speaker 1>opened with one. We had another one in the middle.

<v Speaker 1>And then we had the main event to try to

<v Speaker 1>fit as many people on this show as humanly possible.

<v Speaker 1>But we had Will Ospreay on one side. We had

<v Speaker 1>Jon Moxley on the other. And when it was over,

<v Speaker 1>it was Jon Moxley beating up someone who was very

<v Speaker 1>near and dear to Will Ospreay, one of his fellow

<v Speaker 1>United Empire members. Francesco Akira, someone who has not really

<v Speaker 1>been all that established on AEW programming. We've seen him

<v Speaker 1>make appearances, but I wouldn't say he's someone that the

<v Speaker 1>fans are terribly in tune with unless they follow his

<v Speaker 1>work in New Japan Pro Wrestling. So probably would have

<v Speaker 1>worked a little bit better if they were to have

<v Speaker 1>beaten up somebody that the people were more invested in

<v Speaker 1>than they were Francesco Akira. But we know that Akira

<v Speaker 1>is close to Will Ospreay. They tried to break the

<v Speaker 1>man's neck the way the Death Riders did to Ospreay

<v Speaker 1>last year. And Ospreay was able to make the save.

<v Speaker 1>So they tried to put a little personal spin on

<v Speaker 1>things here. Those two were going to be wrestling for

<v Speaker 1>the AEW World Championship in Chicago in the main event.

<v Speaker 1>Not this coming weekend, but the following weekend. And it

<v Speaker 1>punctuated what was, on the whole, a solid episode of Dynamite.

<v Speaker 1>We had some good or solid in-ring action in some cases.

<v Speaker 1>Nothing blow away. There was some weird stuff. So it

<v Speaker 1>was a little bit of a mixed bag, but on

<v Speaker 1>the whole, it was a solid episode. I know one

<v Speaker 1>of our own in the chat right now, Maze, is

<v Speaker 1>with us. Maze, I believe, was at the show tonight.

<v Speaker 1>They were in Virginia. And I think Maze said he

<v Speaker 1>had fun. So when you go to the shows live,

<v Speaker 1>it's always fun. Especially if, and I don't know if

<v Speaker 1>Maze has been there before, but if you've not been

<v Speaker 1>to a show before, it's always going to be a

<v Speaker 1>good time. More so than it will be watching it

<v Speaker 1>at home on TV. We had a match tonight between

<v Speaker 1>Chris Jericho and Nick Wayne. Chris Jericho is 55 years old.

<v Speaker 1>Nick Wayne is 21 years old. It's a pretty big

<v Speaker 1>age gap between the two of them. And I'll give

<v Speaker 1>you one guess as to how that match went tonight.

<v Speaker 1>It's not even so much how the match went, which

<v Speaker 1>I figured it was going to probably go that way,

<v Speaker 1>but it was the goofy way in which the match

<v Speaker 1>ended that we need to talk about. This was so

<v Speaker 1>fucking stupid. This was so silly. What's not silly and

<v Speaker 1>what I actually am very stoked for is there was

<v Speaker 1>a new match added to the All Out card tonight.

<v Speaker 1>And it will be for the AEW International Championship. Kazuchika

<v Speaker 1>Okada will be defending his title on that show against

<v Speaker 1>someone that I don't believe he's ever wrestled before. Tommaso Ciampa.

<v Speaker 1>So we're going to get the Rainmaker and the Psycho

<v Speaker 1>Killer at All Out. That's going to be a good one.

<v Speaker 1>That's a match I'm looking forward to. Unfortunately, someone who

<v Speaker 1>we will not be seeing on the all-out card, it

<v Speaker 1>was confirmed tonight, is the AEW Women's World Champion Mercedes Monet,

<v Speaker 1>who is still nursing a broken nose. She is not

<v Speaker 1>medically cleared, so she will not be wrestling next Saturday.

<v Speaker 1>I almost pulled an Excalibur there and said next Sunday.

<v Speaker 1>She will not be wrestling next Saturday. However, she will

<v Speaker 1>be defending her championship at the next pay-per-view, which is WrestleDream,

<v Speaker 1>which is coming up on October 17th. And the woman

<v Speaker 1>that she will be defending the Women's Championship against, it's

<v Speaker 1>one of two names. It will either be Willow Nightingale

<v Speaker 1>or it will be Tekla. Or it could be both,

<v Speaker 1>maybe if we end up with no winner because the

<v Speaker 1>two of them are going to have a number one

<v Speaker 1>contenders match next weekend at All Out. So that is

<v Speaker 1>how we are going to figure out who the new

<v Speaker 1>number one contender is going to be. Which is too bad.

<v Speaker 1>I mean, I assume that if Mercedes was cleared, we

<v Speaker 1>probably were going to get a three-way. I would assume.

<v Speaker 1>Everything seemed to be gearing towards a three-way match. And

<v Speaker 1>another name on their way back to AEW. Samoa Joe.

<v Speaker 1>Samoa Joe got called out tonight by someone. And I

<v Speaker 1>presume this will be another match added to the all-out card.

<v Speaker 1>I don't know if they actually specified that. But he

<v Speaker 1>is on his way back very soon. Yeah, XO says

<v Speaker 1>it's ironic that Willow is cleared. even though I think

<v Speaker 1>her hand has to still be broken. She probably still

<v Speaker 1>has a broken hand, and she's cleared to wrestle. Mercedes

<v Speaker 1>is not. Maybe not. Maybe it was a minor break,

<v Speaker 1>and maybe Willow's hand is no longer broken the way

<v Speaker 1>it was before. I don't know. But anyway, yeah, Samoa

<v Speaker 1>Joe is on his way back, which probably means, I

<v Speaker 1>assume that means, that twisted metal filming for the new

<v Speaker 1>season is now done. So it'll be good to get

<v Speaker 1>Joe back. I mentioned All Out, right? All Out is

<v Speaker 1>not this coming Saturday, but the following Saturday, All Out

<v Speaker 1>is all out of tickets. They are completely sold out.

<v Speaker 1>And they mentioned that on the television show tonight, which

<v Speaker 1>if they were looking to put more tickets on sale

<v Speaker 1>in the next few days, you would think that they

<v Speaker 1>would have said that. They were very clear and they

<v Speaker 1>put it on screen. It said sold out. They said

<v Speaker 1>the only way that you can participate in the show,

<v Speaker 1>that you can enjoy the show if you don't have

<v Speaker 1>a ticket, is to order it on pay-per-view or HBO Max.

<v Speaker 1>They said nothing about opening up new sections or anything.

<v Speaker 1>May well be that the configuration is legitimately sold out.

<v Speaker 1>They have over 91 tickets out for that show. And

<v Speaker 1>that is going to be running opposite Worlds Collide, which

<v Speaker 1>WWE is hosting also in Chicago. And we know why

<v Speaker 1>they decided to pick that date and pick that city

<v Speaker 1>to run that show. Whatever their plan was, It did

<v Speaker 1>not work. I can't say it backfired because they have

<v Speaker 1>over 10,000 tickets, maybe 11,000 by now, which is no

<v Speaker 1>small number. And come showtime, they may have 11,000 or 12,000

<v Speaker 1>tickets sold. So you're going to have north of 20,000

<v Speaker 1>wrestling fans between those two shows alone within a few

<v Speaker 1>miles of each other enjoying wrestling next weekend, and that's good. However,

<v Speaker 1>their mission, which was to stifle ticket sales for the

<v Speaker 1>AEW show... It did not work. And now we come

<v Speaker 1>to find out that Worlds Collide may not even be

<v Speaker 1>readily accessible for the general public on that night because

<v Speaker 1>it may not actually be airing live anywhere. Now, PW

<v Speaker 1>Insider had a report about this today and Fightful had

<v Speaker 1>a report about this today. And we'll have to just

<v Speaker 1>wait and see if that changes in the days ahead,

<v Speaker 1>whether they end up throwing it on YouTube. But it

<v Speaker 1>sounds like that's not going to be the case. As

<v Speaker 1>of this moment, there are no live broadcast plans for

<v Speaker 1>Worlds Collide. Now, the matches that have been rumored for

<v Speaker 1>Worlds Collide, I think the arena website, I believe the

<v Speaker 1>Allstate arena website, spoiled the lineup, and they put at

<v Speaker 1>least a portion of the matches were listed. Because I'm

<v Speaker 1>very curious what CM Punk, for example, is going to

<v Speaker 1>be doing on that show. It is Chicago. They've advertised

<v Speaker 1>him for the show. And right now on the arena website,

<v Speaker 1>they have him listed for a six-man tag. I believe

<v Speaker 1>it's Punk, Rey Mysterio, and El Grande Americano are going

<v Speaker 1>to be wrestling Dominic Mysterio. What is it? Dominic Mysterio, Omos,

<v Speaker 1>and I forget who the other person is. It's very lame.

<v Speaker 1>It's very lame. Although there is a Dragon Lee match

<v Speaker 1>on there that actually, I think against Jack Cartwell, that

<v Speaker 1>looks pretty cool. but not exactly a blow-away card. Like,

<v Speaker 1>I know what I'll be watching and likely streaming for

<v Speaker 1>that night, and it won't be Worlds Collide. But it

<v Speaker 1>won't be Worlds Collide anyway, because there's also people speculating,

<v Speaker 1>and that's all it is right now, is just speculation

<v Speaker 1>that perhaps the reason that Worlds Collide may not be

<v Speaker 1>airing anywhere is because they're saving it as an exclusive

<v Speaker 1>for Club WWE members. Now, Correct me if I'm wrong.

<v Speaker 1>I believe a Club WWE membership is, what is it,

<v Speaker 1>like $ 100 a year, I think. Something like that. And

<v Speaker 1>if you want to see the full match between Stephanie

<v Speaker 1>Vicar and Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship that aired,

<v Speaker 1>didn't air, but that took place in Chile this past weekend,

<v Speaker 1>they're putting the full match up there for Club WWE

<v Speaker 1>members as an exclusive. I could totally see them offering

<v Speaker 1>Worlds Collide as a Club WWE exclusive to try to

<v Speaker 1>drum up new subscriptions and new memberships. So if it

<v Speaker 1>does air anywhere, that would likely be the place where

<v Speaker 1>it would air. And you know what? That's fine. It

<v Speaker 1>looks like it's a house show. It's a glorified house show.

<v Speaker 1>And it tells you, again, when they conceived of this event,

<v Speaker 1>because they've done Worlds Collide events before that have aired

<v Speaker 1>as like PLEs. And this one, it appears, is not

<v Speaker 1>going to be the case. They're going to use it

<v Speaker 1>as some sort of crash test dummy, I guess, for

<v Speaker 1>this Club WWE service. it's very clear why this event

<v Speaker 1>is even taking place at all. But that was the

<v Speaker 1>update that we got today. But this is all for, again,

<v Speaker 1>not this coming weekend, but the following weekend, so we

<v Speaker 1>this led to an argument between Darby and Christian over

<v Speaker 1>some unfinished business that they have from the past. Christian

<v Speaker 1>tells him that he wore the TNT championship better than

<v Speaker 1>Darby does. Copeland intervened here. He said, look, are we

<v Speaker 1>all good? Are we on the same page here tonight?

<v Speaker 1>It would appear so. Elsewhere in the back, Stokely Hathaway

<v Speaker 1>was with FTR, Kyle Fletcher, Kevin Knight, and Don Callis.

<v Speaker 1>And he guarantees that FTR is going to walk out

<v Speaker 1>tag team champions in that three-way ladder match at All Out.

<v Speaker 1>Knight and Fletcher, they brought up teaming or beating the

<v Speaker 1>Young Bucks last week, and Don Callis suggested that maybe

<v Speaker 1>they should be in the ladder match. And Stokely said

<v Speaker 1>that we could talk about that later. But that did

<v Speaker 1>lead into the opening contest, which was Cope and Christian

<v Speaker 1>teaming up with Darby Allin and Sting Jr. to take

<v Speaker 1>on FTR, Kyle Fletcher, and Kevin Knight. Stokely Hathaway joined

<v Speaker 1>on commentary for this match. And if you're Excalibur and

<v Speaker 1>Tony Schiavone, I'll bet Don Callis doesn't sound too bad

<v Speaker 1>right about now. The first thing Stokely did was he

<v Speaker 1>started healing on Tony Schiavone as soon as he got

<v Speaker 1>on commentary. So Borden, and this has been the case

<v Speaker 1>the last few weeks with Sting's son. He went on

<v Speaker 1>a nice little run here. He threw some drop kicks.

<v Speaker 1>He had Dax down. He went up to the top.

<v Speaker 1>He got cut off, though, by Cash Wheeler. And they

<v Speaker 1>ended up doing their Power Plex combo. I love that

<v Speaker 1>fucking move. Power and glory, baby. They deserved a better

<v Speaker 1>run in the WWF than the one they got. They

<v Speaker 1>should have been tag team champions at some point. Had

<v Speaker 1>they hung around longer, perhaps they would have gotten at

<v Speaker 1>least a short run, maybe a transitional run as the

<v Speaker 1>tag team champions. But they always had a badass finish.

<v Speaker 1>I love that finish. Didn't work here, though. But they

<v Speaker 1>did hit it on Sting Jr. Fletcher followed up with

<v Speaker 1>a splash off the top. Kevin Knight hit the UFO splash.

<v Speaker 1>So the heels had him beat, and his partners were

<v Speaker 1>able to get in the ring and break up the pins.

<v Speaker 1>So Harwood ended up alone in the ring with Borden,

<v Speaker 1>and he wanted to give him the scorpion death lock.

<v Speaker 1>Borden was able to kick his way free. Christian hit

<v Speaker 1>Harwood in the head with a chair from the floor.

<v Speaker 1>Harwood was in the ropes. The referee didn't see this

<v Speaker 1>because the referee was distracted, as wrestling referees do tend

<v Speaker 1>to be. Darby and Borden, they set up for their

<v Speaker 1>double team finish. Fletcher stopped Darby, though, while he was

<v Speaker 1>on the ropes. Christian took Fletcher out. And then he

<v Speaker 1>took Wheeler out on the floor with a kill switch.

<v Speaker 1>And then Darby got back up. He's on top. He

<v Speaker 1>comes off with the coffin drop. Into the coffin death drop.

<v Speaker 1>It's actually a very cool finish. Didn't hit it quite

<v Speaker 1>as flush as they did last week. But I do

<v Speaker 1>like that tag team finish. And Borden was able to

<v Speaker 1>pick up the win. So they gave these guys about

<v Speaker 1>15 minutes. And... As was the case last week, it

<v Speaker 1>was really a showcase for Sting's son more than anything else.

<v Speaker 1>And so far, they have kept him fairly... I don't

<v Speaker 1>want to make it sound like he tags in, does

<v Speaker 1>two things, and tags out. But what they have done

<v Speaker 1>is put him in a position where it doesn't all

<v Speaker 1>just have to be on him. He's in there with Darby.

<v Speaker 1>Or he's in there with Darby and multiple other people.

<v Speaker 1>There's a bunch of people involved. And it allows him

<v Speaker 1>to go in there and show off his athleticism. And

<v Speaker 1>he gets to sell a little bit, and he gets

<v Speaker 1>to make a comeback. And everything he's done so far

<v Speaker 1>has looked very crisp. It's looked good. Again, you can

<v Speaker 1>tell he's very inexperienced, but it's not like he's tripping

<v Speaker 1>over his feet in there. Or he's botching left and right,

<v Speaker 1>or he looks lost. You know, like he doesn't know

<v Speaker 1>what to do. He looks very comfortable. He looks at

<v Speaker 1>home in the ring. And again, this is somebody who

<v Speaker 1>is coming from, say, a wrestling family. I mean, his

<v Speaker 1>father wrestled. It's not like his mother wrestled and his

<v Speaker 1>grandfather wrestled. But wrestling is in his blood. It's in

<v Speaker 1>his family. And he's getting into it a little bit

<v Speaker 1>later than most people do. He's not that old. But

<v Speaker 1>he certainly looks the part. And he's coming out there

<v Speaker 1>every week. He's in the back in the leather jacket

<v Speaker 1>looking like the fucking Fonz. But he looks the part.

<v Speaker 1>So far, so good. They're keeping him somewhat limited, but

<v Speaker 1>they're giving him television exposure. And I think that they

<v Speaker 1>think that he could really grow into something special. And

<v Speaker 1>they may be right. With him, it's just going to

<v Speaker 1>be a matter of getting continuous reps and getting that experience.

<v Speaker 1>They don't have a developmental system. They have Ring of Honor.

<v Speaker 1>If they wanted to send him there at some point,

<v Speaker 1>he could continue working independent dates. And they don't do

<v Speaker 1>house shows in AEW. So the way that he's going

<v Speaker 1>to get experience is in matches like this. It's going

<v Speaker 1>to be on television because... Outside of the Indies, I mean,

<v Speaker 1>how else is he going to get that experience? So

<v Speaker 1>it's going to take some time, but so far, so good.

<v Speaker 1>So we go backstage, and we got the Death Riders.

<v Speaker 1>And Jon Moxley said, it's a bold and unpredictable move. Unexpected,

<v Speaker 1>I think is the word that he used. That Will

<v Speaker 1>Ospreay challenged him to a match at All Out. It's

<v Speaker 1>incredible what Ospreay has overcome over the past year. No

<v Speaker 1>one understands what road He has traveled and what that

<v Speaker 1>road has been like more than Moxley. Moxley said he's

<v Speaker 1>hard on himself and others because it's a hard job

<v Speaker 1>that they have. He said that after their time together,

<v Speaker 1>he hopes Ospreay has learned that any belt around someone's waist,

<v Speaker 1>that doesn't make them the best. Says what Ospreay did

<v Speaker 1>at Wembley Stadium was amazing. It's going to inspire kids

<v Speaker 1>for years to come. And he said that he never

<v Speaker 1>wanted Ospreay to follow him. He wanted Ospreay to lead.

<v Speaker 1>Said it's heading forward. to where it was always bound

<v Speaker 1>to head between them. Moxley said that when Osprey looks

<v Speaker 1>across the ring and sees him at all out, he

<v Speaker 1>should know that whatever happens, it's on Osprey. It's Osprey's responsibility,

<v Speaker 1>he says. So Moxley said that Pack and Kidd, I mean,

<v Speaker 1>these two guys, they think that we should just tune

<v Speaker 1>you up in the parking lot tonight. And Kidd said,

<v Speaker 1>that's exactly what I'm talking about. Why wait for the pay-per-view?

<v Speaker 1>Because again, Gabe Kidd was there with them and Why

<v Speaker 1>wait for the pay-per-view? He said, Osprey's neck is already weakened.

<v Speaker 1>Let's cut him up into little pieces tonight. So Pack

<v Speaker 1>said that there's a line between the Death Riders and

<v Speaker 1>the United Empire. And then he turned to Moxley. He

<v Speaker 1>looked at Moxley with a glare, like a death stare,

<v Speaker 1>and he said, they won't let Osprey off the hook.

<v Speaker 1>Not the first time in recent weeks that Pack has

<v Speaker 1>looked to Moxley in a way that He believes that

<v Speaker 1>Moxley has made a lot of mistakes. He made a

<v Speaker 1>mistake bringing Osprey into the Death Riders in the first place.

<v Speaker 1>He was not a fan of that, right? And he's

<v Speaker 1>giving him the stink eye, and he's letting him know. Now,

<v Speaker 1>I've long since given up believing that anything like this

<v Speaker 1>is like a seed being planted to an upcoming split

<v Speaker 1>within the Death Riders, or that Moxley is going to

<v Speaker 1>break away or be kicked out of the Death Riders,

<v Speaker 1>because I thought that a year ago, and it didn't happen.

<v Speaker 1>And I think Moxley wants to continue doing the Death Riders.

<v Speaker 1>I think Tony Khan loves the Death Riders. Maybe almost

<v Speaker 1>as much, but not quite, as Paul Levesque loves the Bloodline.

<v Speaker 1>So I'm not expecting anything from this. It's just something

<v Speaker 1>I've noticed, but I'm not making any sort of predictions

<v Speaker 1>about it because at this rate, they may keep these

<v Speaker 1>guys together forever. Who the hell knows? We had Chris Jericho.

<v Speaker 1>Speaking of forever. 55 years old. Chris Jericho. Still out

<v Speaker 1>there doing it. He went one-on-one tonight with 21-year-old prodigy

<v Speaker 1>Nick Wayne. It's a taz on commentary. He... Remember Jericho

<v Speaker 1>mocking Nick's puka shell necklace that he was wearing when

<v Speaker 1>they ran into each other on the show backstage last week.

<v Speaker 1>And then on Collision, there was a promo backstage from

<v Speaker 1>Nick Wayne where he explained what the necklace meant to him.

<v Speaker 1>And the reason it meant something to him is because

<v Speaker 1>he's worn that necklace. He's taken it with him all

<v Speaker 1>over the world. It's like a world-traveled necklace necklace. And

<v Speaker 1>I thought he was going to say that it was

<v Speaker 1>a gift from his late father. There was some sentimental

<v Speaker 1>value to it. But he's like, no, you know, I've

<v Speaker 1>worn this necklace all over the world. And I'm like,

<v Speaker 1>now that I've seen the match and what they did,

<v Speaker 1>that's pretty fucking lame. When you look at what they

<v Speaker 1>did here at the end of this match, that being

<v Speaker 1>the explanation for this was fucking stupid. And it was stupid,

<v Speaker 1>but it was otherwise, I thought, a solid match. I mean,

<v Speaker 1>there were a few things in the first half where

<v Speaker 1>it was like, eh. But I thought it turned into

<v Speaker 1>a solid match here between these two. So Wayne's thing is,

<v Speaker 1>he's sitting there on the mat. He looked like he

<v Speaker 1>was about ready to cry. He was so upset. He

<v Speaker 1>was so distraught over this necklace. He was more broken

<v Speaker 1>up about that necklace than he was the match that

<v Speaker 1>he just lost. So Jericho motioned for his music to stop,

<v Speaker 1>and he's standing over Nick, and he's looking for a handshake,

<v Speaker 1>and Nick wants no part of this. So Jericho goes

<v Speaker 1>to leave. He's halfway out of the ring. Nick quickly

<v Speaker 1>rushes over, kicks the middle rope up into Jericho's balls,

<v Speaker 1>and Jericho falls back into the ring. Wayne then picks

<v Speaker 1>up the necklace. He wraps it around his fist. He

<v Speaker 1>starts punching away at Jericho's head. So then he went outside,

<v Speaker 1>hit Jericho in the back with it, and then Nick

<v Speaker 1>need to stop with that. I know this is their

<v Speaker 1>way of coming up with something that they can latch

<v Speaker 1>onto and use here in this feud. It is very,

<v Speaker 1>very weak. We need a better explanation as to why

<v Speaker 1>the necklace is meaningful to him other than, oh, well,

<v Speaker 1>I've taken it with me all over the world. Okay, well,

<v Speaker 1>that's cool. And maybe it has some degree of sentimental

<v Speaker 1>value to you because of that. But he's reacting. Again,

<v Speaker 1>passed away a number of years ago. And you would think, like,

<v Speaker 1>maybe on the necklace is like a trinket. And inside, like,

<v Speaker 1>schoolboy on Moxley late in the match. He got out

<v Speaker 1>of that, mowed him down with a big boot. But

<v Speaker 1>Akira fought back. Yuta got up on the apron. He

<v Speaker 1>was trying to run distraction and did so long enough

<v Speaker 1>for Moxley to blast Akira with a lariat, hit him

<v Speaker 1>with a paradigm shift. Gabe Kidd and Pac, they prevented

<v Speaker 1>Ospreay and Andrade from making the save. dropped them outside

<v Speaker 1>with a pile driver and a poison Rana out on

<v Speaker 1>the floor. So inside Moxley, more paradigm shifts, then a

<v Speaker 1>death rider into a bulldog choke, and he got the

<v Speaker 1>submission for the win. After the match was over, Moxley,

<v Speaker 1>he got the bulldog choke reapplied. And Andrade broke free.

<v Speaker 1>He was able to clear the ring, but here come

<v Speaker 1>Clark Connors and David Finley, and they hit the ring.

<v Speaker 1>They helped Pac take care of Andrade. Gabe Kidnow is

<v Speaker 1>positioning a steel chair. around the neck of Akira, and

<v Speaker 1>they're going to do to him what the Death Riders

<v Speaker 1>did to Will Ospreay last summer. They're going to try

<v Speaker 1>to break this man's neck, and they're going to make

<v Speaker 1>Ospreay watch this, where Ospreay's going to get up and

<v Speaker 1>see that his friend has been, you know, assassinated, basically,

<v Speaker 1>in the middle of this ring. Ospreay, though, manages to

<v Speaker 1>fly in with hidden blades for everyone. And then he

<v Speaker 1>removed the chair from Akira's neck. He's swinging it around

<v Speaker 1>wildly and he tends to his fallen friend. He throws

<v Speaker 1>up the dreaded X. The doctor comes over to check

<v Speaker 1>on Akira and that is how they went off the air.

<v Speaker 1>So I get what they were going for here. Again,

<v Speaker 1>I think it would work better if it was with

<v Speaker 1>somebody on the AEW roster who was more of, you know,

<v Speaker 1>an established baby face or maybe a friend or ally

<v Speaker 1>of Ospreay's. So for me personally, like it just, it,

<v Speaker 1>I got what they were doing. I understood it. But

<v Speaker 1>like it didn't resonate as much because of that, because

<v Speaker 1>we just don't see this guy on A.W. television very often.

<v Speaker 1>He drops in every now and then. But again, we

<v Speaker 1>don't see a whole lot of him. But they wanted

<v Speaker 1>Moxley and the Death Riders to go after someone close

<v Speaker 1>to Osprey. Right. They wanted to make this personal in

<v Speaker 1>these in these final days here before we get to

<v Speaker 1>the pay per view. But, you know, there's really not

<v Speaker 1>a whole lot left for them to do outside of

<v Speaker 1>them delivering whatever remarks that they're going to deliver. We

<v Speaker 1>got an Osprey, or not Osprey, we got a Moxley

<v Speaker 1>promo backstage at the beginning of the show. Very brief.

<v Speaker 1>But we still have to get that sort of go-home,

<v Speaker 1>like drive-it-home promo from Osprey on the show next week.

<v Speaker 1>Maybe they have, you know, dueling comments. Maybe they end

<v Speaker 1>up in the ring together and they cut promos on

<v Speaker 1>each other. At the very least, though, we should get

<v Speaker 1>that sort of fiery... Osprey babyface promo. This has been

<v Speaker 1>building now for a year. All this stuff with him

<v Speaker 1>and Moxley, it all goes back to what happened last summer,

<v Speaker 1>which then led to him having surgery. In storyline, they

<v Speaker 1>credited that as why he needed neck surgery. And he

<v Speaker 1>was gone for about five months. He came back. He

<v Speaker 1>got beat at Dynasty. Moxley's been unbeatable all year. Osprey lost.

<v Speaker 1>He came back and he lost. His mission was to

<v Speaker 1>murder this man and get revenge, and he failed. And

<v Speaker 1>then it's like, well, if you can't beat him, join him.

<v Speaker 1>And they took him under his wing. And we all

<v Speaker 1>know the story that's been playing out now for months

<v Speaker 1>because you've been here with me, many of you, for

<v Speaker 1>these reviews. And we've been talking about this now for

<v Speaker 1>the majority of the year. So everything that they have

<v Speaker 1>done has built up to this moment here. We're now

<v Speaker 1>Will Ospreay will go in there next weekend. He will

<v Speaker 1>finally get that win back. He will get his revenge.

<v Speaker 1>I don't know that it's going to end there, that

<v Speaker 1>they want to drag it out longer. They can. If

<v Speaker 1>you ask me right now, Blood and Guts, by the way,

<v Speaker 1>has been announced for November. November 4th is going to

<v Speaker 1>be Blood and Guts. And as of this moment, we

<v Speaker 1>talk a lot about war games on these streams and

<v Speaker 1>what are they going to do at Survivor Series. That's

<v Speaker 1>at the end of November. And maybe at the Bloodline

<v Speaker 1>and 946 and all this other stuff. This is the

<v Speaker 1>beginning of November, which is less than two months away.

<v Speaker 1>And it would seem like we're probably going to end

<v Speaker 1>up getting Death Riders and United Empire. So even after

<v Speaker 1>Osprey beats Moxley in Chicago, it's not going to be

<v Speaker 1>over there. It just feels like this feud and this

<v Speaker 1>bad blood is going to continue. It's going to carry

<v Speaker 1>over deeper into the fall. And like Joaquin in the

<v Speaker 1>chat says, Pac, new leader of the Death Riders. Like

<v Speaker 1>I said earlier, they have dropped hints of that. They

<v Speaker 1>have dropped hints that Pac has not been approving of

<v Speaker 1>some of the decisions that Moxley has made, in particular

<v Speaker 1>when it comes to welcoming Osprey into the group. and

<v Speaker 1>that we're not going to make these same mistakes anymore.

<v Speaker 1>They could build to a big angle in a Blood

<v Speaker 1>and Guts match, where they actually do pull the trigger,

<v Speaker 1>and the Death Riders sort of come together and say, okay,

<v Speaker 1>Moxley has made mistakes, or he's gone soft or whatever,

<v Speaker 1>and they kick him out of the group. You could

<v Speaker 1>do that. You could shoot some sort of angle there.

<v Speaker 1>It's just that I don't know that they actually are

<v Speaker 1>going to want to break them up. So I've kind

<v Speaker 1>of given up trying to figure, okay, maybe... they're finally

<v Speaker 1>going to do it now. It's like, well, I thought

<v Speaker 1>they were going to do it a year ago, and

<v Speaker 1>they kept it going for another year. But look, they

<v Speaker 1>got some good stuff out of it, at least with

<v Speaker 1>Moxley and Osprey, by keeping it going for this long.

<v Speaker 1>But how much longer can you keep this going for?

<v Speaker 1>I'm talking about the Deathriders stuff with Moxley. That would

<v Speaker 1>be a good place to do it. But as of

<v Speaker 1>this moment, that's, I imagine that's what we're looking at

<v Speaker 1>in Blood and Guts. United Empire and the Deathriders are probably,

<v Speaker 1>you know, Osprey and Andrade and Question is, do we

<v Speaker 1>have current, you know, United Empire members from Japan? Or

<v Speaker 1>is Osprey going to form his own U.S. version, which

<v Speaker 1>is what he teased a couple of weeks ago? And

<v Speaker 1>as I said that night, when I came on here

<v Speaker 1>live to talk to you on the review, the first

<v Speaker 1>two names that came to mind for me, Ilya Dragunov,

<v Speaker 1>and then longer term, Kyle Fletcher. linking back up with Ospreay. Again,

<v Speaker 1>that's maybe next year. That's further down the road. Dragunov,

<v Speaker 1>I believe 100% would be a great fit for something

<v Speaker 1>like this, especially if you want some international flavor in

<v Speaker 1>this group beyond just Ospreay. So I would love it.

<v Speaker 1>It would be a prime spot for him to be in,

<v Speaker 1>and then he could potentially be in a blood and

<v Speaker 1>guts match within a month of making his debut. If

<v Speaker 1>you believe he will debut in the company next month,

<v Speaker 1>what a hell of a spot for him to be in.

<v Speaker 1>We were talking about this, I think, on TNT last night,

<v Speaker 1>the possible and rumored debut date. Because Dragunov is on

<v Speaker 1>his way in. He's coming into AEW. It's only a

<v Speaker 1>matter now of when are they going to actually debut

<v Speaker 1>him and put him on TV. They have an episode

<v Speaker 1>of Dynamite Grand Slam coming up from France for the

<v Speaker 1>first time ever. I think it's on October 6th. It's

<v Speaker 1>on my birthday, October 6th. And I believe Dynamite is
