<v Speaker 1>rental car. Tonight, we were supposed to have Solo Sokoa

<v Speaker 1>as part of the main event. There was a triple

<v Speaker 1>threat qualifier for Money in the Bank. And it was

<v Speaker 1>supposed to be Solo Sokoa, Dominic Mysterio, and then, well,

<v Speaker 1>Solo Sokoa. We'll talk about his replacement here in a

<v Speaker 1>little bit. But Dragon Lee was also in the main event.

<v Speaker 1>Dragon Lee had a great week on Raw last week,

<v Speaker 1>challenging Chad Gable for the Intercontinental title. Now, he didn't win,

<v Speaker 1>but it was a great match. So this week, he

<v Speaker 1>was in the main event. Solo Sokoa was attacked in

<v Speaker 1>the parking lot or the parking garage, whatever it was.

<v Speaker 1>Prior to his match, he was thrown into the back

<v Speaker 1>of a car and he was driven away by Royce

<v Speaker 1>Keys and OTM. And we didn't see him again after that.

<v Speaker 1>He was beaten up. He was all bruised, right? No

<v Speaker 1>blood because we don't want Netflix to have a shit fit.

<v Speaker 1>And so off they went. Yet another week, by the way,

<v Speaker 1>where Jacob Fatu, he's freaking out, but Jacob Fatu has

<v Speaker 1>yet to run into Royce Keys and his crew. So

<v Speaker 1>how many weeks has that been now? And Kenta ended

<v Speaker 1>up getting the spot. The man who fell to Roman

<v Speaker 1>Reigns last week for the World Heavyweight Championship. And he

<v Speaker 1>got his opportunity tonight to potentially get another shot at

<v Speaker 1>the title because all he has to do is qualify.

<v Speaker 1>He gets in the ladder match. He climbs the ladder,

<v Speaker 1>pulls down the briefcase, and he's got a guaranteed championship

<v Speaker 1>match whenever he wants. So Penta got his spot in

<v Speaker 1>the Money in the Bank qualifier tonight. Before I even

<v Speaker 1>get to what happened there, just to go back to

<v Speaker 1>Solo for a moment, it does make you wonder if

<v Speaker 1>we are setting up for a Solo Sokoa return at

<v Speaker 1>Money in the Bank. And perhaps if 946 gets involved

<v Speaker 1>in Roman's match, if they try to screw him out

<v Speaker 1>of the World Heavyweight Championship, that Solo Sokoa may show up.

<v Speaker 1>And maybe, just maybe, I know all the LA Knight

<v Speaker 1>fans are clinging to this hope, but maybe there's a

<v Speaker 1>chance that Solo Sokova will actually play a role and

<v Speaker 1>help LA Knight, as opposed to him, let's say, screwing

<v Speaker 1>over LA Knight, which would be the WWE way of

<v Speaker 1>doing things. To screw over his friend. LA Knight wanted

<v Speaker 1>nothing to do with this man, but he's been very

<v Speaker 1>friendly with him in the last few weeks, except really

<v Speaker 1>ever since SummerSlam. But it seems like we're maybe setting

<v Speaker 1>up for a Solo return in New Orleans on that show.

<v Speaker 1>But Penta... wins the qualifier so penta is moving on

<v Speaker 1>to money in the bank which is great news because

<v Speaker 1>penta was a little worried about like okay where does

<v Speaker 1>he go from here now he lost to roman reigns

<v Speaker 1>great fucking match last week right but okay where to

<v Speaker 1>next for penta because penta is very popular and he's

<v Speaker 1>really one of the top players here on monday night

<v Speaker 1>raw You've got to have him in the mix in

<v Speaker 1>some way. Even Obafemi, he's got his spot right now.

<v Speaker 1>He's doing stuff with The Vision. Long ways to go

<v Speaker 1>until we get to WrestleMania, so you've got to do

<v Speaker 1>something to occupy his time. What do you do with Penta?

<v Speaker 1>You put him back in the Intercontinental picture? That doesn't

<v Speaker 1>really make a lot of sense. But him going to

<v Speaker 1>Money in the Bank and potentially winning Money in the

<v Speaker 1>Bank and walking around with a briefcase, well, that would

<v Speaker 1>give him something to do. So I'm very happy that

<v Speaker 1>he is going to be on that PLE and he

<v Speaker 1>will be a part of that match. The three of them,

<v Speaker 1>by the way, him, Dragon Lee, and Dom, they had

<v Speaker 1>a very good main event tonight. On the women's side,

<v Speaker 1>we had a triple threat qualifier there as well. Io Sky,

<v Speaker 1>Roxanne Perez, and La Catalina of AAA. And it really

<v Speaker 1>was between Io and Roxanne. And it came down, and

<v Speaker 1>there really is no loser in that scenario. If you

<v Speaker 1>send Io Sky to the ladder match, great, because Io

<v Speaker 1>is fucking fantastic. If you send Roxanne, well-deserved. Because Roxanne

<v Speaker 1>really hasn't done a whole hell of a lot this year.

<v Speaker 1>And she could use that spot a lot more than

<v Speaker 1>Io Sky can. Io is more established. Roxanne is still

<v Speaker 1>trying to get something going here on this show. She's

<v Speaker 1>moving on to Money in the Bank. And so I'm

<v Speaker 1>liking these lineups a lot. so far that we have

<v Speaker 1>for the men's and the women's match all people who

<v Speaker 1>have never held world championships on the main roster before

<v Speaker 1>so all new faces in that regard you know when

<v Speaker 1>it comes to being in these matches so I'm really

<v Speaker 1>digging and we still got a couple of spots left

<v Speaker 1>to go in both of those matches two spots left

<v Speaker 1>to be filled in the men's match two spots left

<v Speaker 1>to be filled in the women's match the men's match

<v Speaker 1>so far we got Bron Breaker we've got Javon Evans

<v Speaker 1>the two of them had a match tonight Trick Williams,

<v Speaker 1>I'm going to have something on him in a little bit,

<v Speaker 1>and Penta. And then on the women's side, we have

<v Speaker 1>Sol Ruka, we have JC Jane, Lola Weiss, and now

<v Speaker 1>Roxanne Perez is in the match. We had a match

<v Speaker 1>on this show also tonight between Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.

<v Speaker 1>This is a feud that has been going on now

<v Speaker 1>for many, many months. They were friends, they were tag

<v Speaker 1>team partners, and then they were bitter enemies. And the

<v Speaker 1>last time we saw them in the ring together was

<v Speaker 1>Madison Square Garden, In the middle of July. Tonight was

<v Speaker 1>the rematch. And I hope it's the last match. It

<v Speaker 1>doesn't look like it's going to be. This feud is

<v Speaker 1>going to continue. Whatever they're trying to do here. The

<v Speaker 1>story they're trying to tell. At least with me. It's

<v Speaker 1>not resonating. It's clearly not resonating with the people in

<v Speaker 1>the buildings. But it's just not resonating. It's not interesting.

<v Speaker 1>It's not exciting. People don't really seem to care. they

<v Speaker 1>turned Lyra heel, and they did that big injury angle

<v Speaker 1>with Bayley on Saturday night's main event, and that was

<v Speaker 1>where they really tried to establish this new character for Lyra,

<v Speaker 1>the darker persona. And so, to that end, they accomplished

<v Speaker 1>what they wanted to do in terms of turning her

<v Speaker 1>and setting up this new character. I don't really see

<v Speaker 1>the need to continue to prolong this if people aren't

<v Speaker 1>really invested in this. This match they had tonight, technically speaking,

<v Speaker 1>it was fine, but It was just very dull and

<v Speaker 1>nobody really seemed to care. So even though this looks

<v Speaker 1>like it's going to continue, I kind of wish it

<v Speaker 1>wasn't going to. This was a largely forgettable Raw that

<v Speaker 1>had some good wrestling. Really, the Money in the Bank

<v Speaker 1>qualifying matches were the highlights of the show. So I

<v Speaker 1>would say if you were curious, what should I check

<v Speaker 1>out from Monday Night Raw? Definitely check out the two

<v Speaker 1>Money in the Bank qualifiers. Everything else is very hit

<v Speaker 1>or miss. One thing that was very noticeable to me,

<v Speaker 1>and I was wondering about this coming into the show,

<v Speaker 1>We are less than a week away now from Worlds Collide,

<v Speaker 1>which is coming up this Saturday in Chicago at the

<v Speaker 1>Allstate Arena. And Rey Mysterio, they had him announce the

<v Speaker 1>full card on AAA this past weekend. And they've really

<v Speaker 1>loaded this card up in terms of some really good matches.

<v Speaker 1>And they got some names on there. CM Punk is

<v Speaker 1>wrestling in the main event. Olba Femi is going to

<v Speaker 1>be making an appearance on the show. And there's other

<v Speaker 1>main roster names wrestling as well. Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee.

<v Speaker 1>I was curious, there's been so many reports going around

<v Speaker 1>in the last several days that the show is not

<v Speaker 1>going to be airing live. That they're going to film it,

<v Speaker 1>they're going to have commentary for it, but there's no

<v Speaker 1>internal plan right now as far as broadcasting the show live.

<v Speaker 1>Which would be going head to head with AEW All Out,

<v Speaker 1>which is already sold out this weekend. And... then there's

<v Speaker 1>been some speculation that maybe it'll just end up on club.

<v Speaker 1>WWE is an exclusive like they did with the Stephanie,

<v Speaker 1>the care live Morgan match. Uh, maybe they'll throw it

<v Speaker 1>on the YouTube channel. I think tonight gave a pretty

<v Speaker 1>good indication that if there were any live broadcast plans

<v Speaker 1>for this show, like on YouTube, they would have at

<v Speaker 1>least mentioned it. And they didn't say anything about it.

<v Speaker 1>what is a pretty loaded card, all things considered. So, uh,

<v Speaker 1>of two Money in the Bank qualifying matches, this one

<v Speaker 1>with the ladies, Io Sky, Roxanne Perez, and the new

<v Speaker 1>Reina de Reina's champion from AAA, La Catalina, making her

<v Speaker 1>Raw debut. She will be defending that title, by the way,

<v Speaker 1>this Saturday against Roxanne Perez, which you very likely would

<v Speaker 1>not know if you watch this show, so I'm telling you.

<v Speaker 1>Io went for a shoté palm strike to Roxanne late

<v Speaker 1>in the match. She ducked. Io hit La Catalina with

<v Speaker 1>it instead. So Roxanne went for a double jump springboard moonsault.

<v Speaker 1>Catalina got her knees up. Io then caught Roxanne with

<v Speaker 1>a double stomp. And Catalina broke up the pin attempt

<v Speaker 1>on that. So Io went for her over the moonsault. Perez, though,

<v Speaker 1>crotched her on top. Catalina went after Io on top.

<v Speaker 1>Roxanne put a stop to that. She brought her down.

<v Speaker 1>And then she brought Io down with a hurricanrana. All

<v Speaker 1>three women were down. So later on, Io caught both

<v Speaker 1>women with a shotgun dropkick off the top. She tried

<v Speaker 1>again for the over-the-moon salt, this time to both women. Roxanne, though,

<v Speaker 1>rolled out of the way. Catalina took the brunt of it.

<v Speaker 1>And Roxanne then hit pop rocks to Io and pinned

<v Speaker 1>her to qualify for the Money in the Bank match.

<v Speaker 1>I mean, look, I guess you could call it an upset.

<v Speaker 1>I don't know. I guess you could call it an upset.

<v Speaker 1>I don't know. I would have to think that coming

<v Speaker 1>into this match... Maybe the majority of people would have

<v Speaker 1>gone with Io, but I think a sizable number of

<v Speaker 1>people probably had Roxanne as their pick to advance. So

<v Speaker 1>some might call it an upset, some might not. She

<v Speaker 1>did beat a former world champion, right? She didn't pin...

<v Speaker 1>I mean, technically, La Catalina is a champion right now.

<v Speaker 1>Io is a former world heavyweight champion, so she got

<v Speaker 1>to pin a former world heavyweight champion. And I was

<v Speaker 1>very happy to see it. Not that I would have

<v Speaker 1>been unhappy to see Io win. I would have been

<v Speaker 1>totally fine with that. Io's fucking great. And she would

<v Speaker 1>have added a lot to that ladder match. But Roxanne

<v Speaker 1>needs this more than Io. Because let's be honest, Io

<v Speaker 1>I know right now is not doing a whole lot.

<v Speaker 1>And that's what happens sometimes. Sometimes you're in the mix

<v Speaker 1>and then you get cycled out. And eventually you'll get

<v Speaker 1>cycled back in, hopefully. But for Roxanne, she's done a

<v Speaker 1>whole lot of nothing this year. She's really been an

<v Speaker 1>afterthought behind Liv and Raquel. It's time that she has

<v Speaker 1>her moment. I don't know if she's going to win

<v Speaker 1>Money in the Bank with 100% certainty. I mean, she

<v Speaker 1>was my prediction months ago. Maybe she's going to win.

<v Speaker 1>Maybe she's not. But at least her being in that match,

<v Speaker 1>at least her being in that mix, is a good thing. Right?

<v Speaker 1>She's at least in that conversation. She's doing something. She's

<v Speaker 1>able to go out there and break out on her

<v Speaker 1>helps her chances of making more appearances on the main roster. So,

<v Speaker 1>you really think that getting involved again with these bloodline

<v Speaker 1>about 946. Because they've got big things to do. Solo

<v Speaker 1>ring by himself for a promo. This is after he

<v Speaker 1>laid out Roman Reigns last week. We didn't see it.

<v Speaker 1>On social media, you did. But this took place after

<v Speaker 1>Raw went off the air last week. He laid out

<v Speaker 1>Roman with a BFT. Roman was all pissed off. And

<v Speaker 1>Roman is the one who said, OK, you want this?

<v Speaker 1>You want to do this? Money in the bank in

<v Speaker 1>New Orleans. So that's how we got the match. He

<v Speaker 1>said Roman Reigns and Penta, they tore the house down

<v Speaker 1>last week. Penta came up a little bit short, though.

<v Speaker 1>Roman is still the world heavyweight champion. So now we

<v Speaker 1>move on to money in the bank. He said it's

<v Speaker 1>been three years. Three years since the last time Roman

<v Speaker 1>Reigns and LA Knight have met in the ring one-on-one.

<v Speaker 1>And I remember that match very well. I was in

<v Speaker 1>the middle of that run where every fucking title defense,

<v Speaker 1>the bloodline was getting involved. Everybody was getting screwed over

<v Speaker 1>by the bloodline. It didn't matter if it was LA Knight,

<v Speaker 1>Drew McIntyre. It didn't matter. Kevin Owens. Everybody was getting

<v Speaker 1>fucked over. Three years of getting knocked down. and getting

<v Speaker 1>back up. Three years of Roman making sure he's not

<v Speaker 1>in the plans. Three years of everyone saying that he

<v Speaker 1>is the uncrowned champion. Maybe Roman's parents didn't pay enough

<v Speaker 1>attention to him since he's always asking for acknowledgement. He'll

<v Speaker 1>give Roman some acknowledgement that Penta match last week they

<v Speaker 1>tore the house down. The Roman that we saw in

<v Speaker 1>that match last week, he won the match on his own.

<v Speaker 1>And he said Roman is one of the greatest champions

<v Speaker 1>of this generation. And very interesting when he made this comment,

<v Speaker 1>the fans booed. Every other time that LA Knight in

<v Speaker 1>these promos in the last couple of months has brought

<v Speaker 1>up the name Roman Reigns, they cheer. And then he

<v Speaker 1>makes a comment where it's because he's supposed to be

<v Speaker 1>a baby face. So he's not going to heal on

<v Speaker 1>the crowd for it. So he's always like, well, look,

<v Speaker 1>I don't blame you guys. He's fooled you. He's pulled

<v Speaker 1>the wool over your eyes. This time they booed. Maybe

<v Speaker 1>they're coming around to the idea that this guy's a

<v Speaker 1>fucking heel. And it wasn't just Mexico City last week.

<v Speaker 1>For years, he's heard folks say that they want LA

<v Speaker 1>Knight to be the champion. And then he made an

<v Speaker 1>admission here. He said, the thing is, even though people

<v Speaker 1>may want to see me be the champion, you don't

<v Speaker 1>actually believe that I can win. And he doesn't blame them.

<v Speaker 1>He lost last time and he hasn't won the big one.

<v Speaker 1>After watching last week, he wasn't sure if anyone can

<v Speaker 1>beat Roman, even him. And he sat with that for

<v Speaker 1>a moment until he noticed something. Notice that Roman didn't

<v Speaker 1>need the bloodline last week. He didn't need the bloodline

<v Speaker 1>at WrestleMania. He didn't need the bloodline at SummerSlam. He's

<v Speaker 1>been winning all of these matches on his own. He's

<v Speaker 1>been doing it by himself. And as he's making this point,

<v Speaker 1>and he says here, he seemingly wants to rewrite history

<v Speaker 1>and his legacy by being able to say he did

<v Speaker 1>it all on his own. And I was like, well,

<v Speaker 1>that's very interesting because we just had a question on

<v Speaker 1>the sound off. If you listen to the podcast yesterday,

<v Speaker 1>shout out to David in Sacramento. sent in a question asking,

<v Speaker 1>is there a story that WWE is trying to tell

<v Speaker 1>here where Roman is trying to rewrite his legacy? Basically,

<v Speaker 1>he said the same thing in his mailbag question. Are

<v Speaker 1>they trying to have Roman rewrite his legacy by going back?

<v Speaker 1>And I think the way he asked it was going

<v Speaker 1>back through a lot of the same people he beat previously,

<v Speaker 1>but beating them this time by himself, whereas before he

<v Speaker 1>beat them with help from his cousins. And I said,

<v Speaker 1>I don't know that it's that deep. That may be

<v Speaker 1>kind of what's going on here, but I don't know

<v Speaker 1>if that's the story they're trying to tell. And then

<v Speaker 1>they had L.A. Knight come out here on the show

<v Speaker 1>and basically tell that story. That they're trying to have

<v Speaker 1>Roman rewrite history here. Now, it may not just be

<v Speaker 1>comprised of people that he beat two, three, four years ago,

<v Speaker 1>but there are a lot of the same names in there. L.A.

<v Speaker 1>Knight is one of those names. So maybe there is

<v Speaker 1>a story here that they are intentionally trying to tell

<v Speaker 1>where they don't want people this time around to think, well,

<v Speaker 1>you know, he's the chicken shit heel who needs help.

<v Speaker 1>He can't do it by himself. This time he's going

<v Speaker 1>out there and he's doing it by himself. He's not cheating.

<v Speaker 1>He's not, you know, having other people interfere on his behalf.

<v Speaker 1>Roman has never beaten him without the bloodline. Knight never

<v Speaker 1>needed anybody to beat nobody. He's the most self-made son

<v Speaker 1>of a bitch in the game. And at Money in

<v Speaker 1>the Bank, he's going to make his own opportunity and

<v Speaker 1>beat Roman Reigns on his own to win the only

<v Speaker 1>world championship that matters, Roman's championship. I liked some of

<v Speaker 1>the things that he had to say here in this promo.

<v Speaker 1>The problem is he went on for way too long.

<v Speaker 1>And again, this was a crowd that was pretty quiet

<v Speaker 1>for most of the night. So the longer he went

<v Speaker 1>and they weren't reacting to some of the things he

<v Speaker 1>was saying, and then he just kept going, it's like,

<v Speaker 1>all right, I think we can wrap this up. Because

<v Speaker 1>he kind of made the point that he wanted to make,

<v Speaker 1>and then it just felt like it kept going. So

<v Speaker 1>I would have tightened it up a little bit, but

<v Speaker 1>the message he delivered I thought was fine. I'm happy

<v Speaker 1>that we're getting the match of Money in the Bank.

<v Speaker 1>I don't know that LA Knight fans will be terribly

<v Speaker 1>happy when the match is over, but boy, I would

<v Speaker 1>be very happy to be wrong. If they finally pull

<v Speaker 1>the trigger on this SOB and said, okay, you know what?

<v Speaker 1>Fuck it. Even for two months, three months, we're going

<v Speaker 1>to put the World Heavyweight Championship on him. We'll give

<v Speaker 1>him a shot. Right? We'll give him his run. I

<v Speaker 1>just don't see it. There's a story there that they

<v Speaker 1>can tell very easily tied in with the Solo Sokoa

<v Speaker 1>and 946 stuff. which in a way is kind of

<v Speaker 1>shitty because it'll end up being one of these situations

<v Speaker 1>if they do it that way, where it wasn't even

<v Speaker 1>so much that LA Knight beat Roman Reigns, but all

<v Speaker 1>this other bullshit is going on. But I mean, a

<v Speaker 1>win is a win, I guess. I just think they

<v Speaker 1>want to keep him as strong as possible until he

<v Speaker 1>gets to Oba, whenever that is. Probably Mania, but I

<v Speaker 1>don't know that they want anybody, anybody to beat this

<v Speaker 1>guy until they get to that match. And that includes

<v Speaker 1>LA Knight. I can't see them throwing that all the

<v Speaker 1>way to give LA Knight a win. You know, if

<v Speaker 1>you were going to do that, I feel like if

<v Speaker 1>they were going to do it, they would have done

<v Speaker 1>it with Penta last week. You know, just to give

<v Speaker 1>him a feel-good win and then just have him hand

<v Speaker 1>it back a few weeks later. But we'll see. I mean,

<v Speaker 1>everything is set up now, you know, story-wise. He outlined

<v Speaker 1>their history very well. You can only talk about winning

<v Speaker 1>so many times and go out there and lose before

<v Speaker 1>people just completely lose faith in you. This time's going

<v Speaker 1>to be different. This time I'm going to win. And

<v Speaker 1>then he goes out there and loses. Yeah, it's a

<v Speaker 1>bad look for that character. Byron Saxton, he interviewed Javon

<v Speaker 1>Evans backstage and he informed him that Javon was the

<v Speaker 1>youngest wrestler ever to qualify. He will be the youngest

<v Speaker 1>wrestler to ever compete in a Money in the Bank match.

<v Speaker 1>The Vision showed up. They had a good laugh for

<v Speaker 1>Javon thinking he would actually win Money in the Bank.

<v Speaker 1>Braun Breaker congratulated him on qualifying, but he told him

<v Speaker 1>Money in the Bank was his. So Evans said that,

<v Speaker 1>I got my gear on. And he noticed Breaker had

<v Speaker 1>his gear on, and he challenged him to a match.

<v Speaker 1>And Evans realized he was outnumbered, whatever it was, 4-1, 5-1.

<v Speaker 1>So he slapped Breaker across the face, and then he

<v Speaker 1>ran away. Which is probably the smart thing to do

<v Speaker 1>after slapping Braun Breaker in the face. And the rest

<v Speaker 1>of the Vision, Logan Paul, they wanted him to go

<v Speaker 1>after him. And Breaker actually resisted. And he held them back.

<v Speaker 1>He said, it's time we start using our heads. He's

<v Speaker 1>being more cerebral all of a sudden. I don't like this.

<v Speaker 1>I don't like this new version of Braun Breaker. He

<v Speaker 1>was much more of a badass when he would just

<v Speaker 1>lose his shit and just go around killing people. But

<v Speaker 1>we had him in a match, an impromptu match after this.

<v Speaker 1>It was Braun Breaker one-on-one with Javon Evans, two of

<v Speaker 1>the six members of this year's Money in the Bank

<v Speaker 1>ladder match. Evans sent Breaker headfirst into the announce desk.

<v Speaker 1>This was pretty early in the match. And Austin Theory

<v Speaker 1>is out there. He's distracting Javon. Breaker charged as he

<v Speaker 1>was distracted. Evans, though, moved and Breaker flew into the timekeeper.

<v Speaker 1>I mean, he went over the fucking barricade into the

<v Speaker 1>timekeeper's area. So Evans did his run around the ring

<v Speaker 1>that he does. Hit Breaker with a flying crossbody over

<v Speaker 1>the barricade. Almost overshot him into the front row. Later

<v Speaker 1>in the match, Breaker hit the top rope. Brekensteiner sent

<v Speaker 1>Evans crashing to the mat. Breaker then ran right into

<v Speaker 1>a super kick. Both men were down. Evans charged into

<v Speaker 1>a gorilla press. Evans, though, countered that into a tornado DDT.

<v Speaker 1>And then Evans hit a standing sliced bread. For a

<v Speaker 1>near fall. Or I guess. Operation Dragon. I guess you

<v Speaker 1>could call it. So Breaker at that point. He ended

<v Speaker 1>up on the floor. And. Evans went to go dive.

<v Speaker 1>Maxine Dupree. Gets up on the apron to. Distract him.

<v Speaker 1>Theory then drops Evans with a. A right hand. And

<v Speaker 1>Breaker hit. Some sort of suplex. He got a near

<v Speaker 1>fall out of it. Breaker's getting ready for the spear.

<v Speaker 1>And Javon. avoids it, Breaker hits the ring post shoulder first.

<v Speaker 1>So then Evans gives Theory a shot, and then he

<v Speaker 1>took out Bronson Reed with a dive over the top rope,

<v Speaker 1>got back in the ring, dove out on the other side,

<v Speaker 1>onto Breaker. Evans then caught Breaker with the red dot kick.

<v Speaker 1>He went for the OG cutter. Theory, though, tripped him

<v Speaker 1>up right in front of the referee. So, of course,

<v Speaker 1>the referee threw the match out, called for the disqualification.

<v Speaker 1>So The Vision, they put a beatdown on Evans, but

<v Speaker 1>here comes Oba Femi, and he is pissed off. He

<v Speaker 1>was laid out last week, and he had to listen

<v Speaker 1>to all the bullshit on social media about him putting

<v Speaker 1>his boot, or rather Bronson Reed putting his boot on Oba,

<v Speaker 1>and Oba shoving it off, and oh, he's got heat,

<v Speaker 1>and people in the back didn't like that because it

<v Speaker 1>was an unscripted moment, because God for fucking bid we

<v Speaker 1>should have that on these shows, and what a big controversy, right?

<v Speaker 1>It's a slow news week. So he was clearly tired

<v Speaker 1>of hearing about all of this shit. He came down

<v Speaker 1>to the ring and he proceeded to murder everybody. Logan

<v Speaker 1>Paul tried to slide a chair into the ring. Oba

<v Speaker 1>grabbed the chair, used that chair on the vision. Reed

<v Speaker 1>got possession of the chair and he was getting ready

<v Speaker 1>to use it. And as he turned around, Oba came

<v Speaker 1>and just wrecked him with this running uppercut. He didn't

<v Speaker 1>uppercut the chair into his fate, but he uppercut him,

<v Speaker 1>and the chair just goes flying. It was this great bump.

<v Speaker 1>Oba then takes Javon, and he tosses him out of

<v Speaker 1>the ring onto the Vision. They all fall down like

<v Speaker 1>bowling pins. The match itself, I thought, was solid. I

<v Speaker 1>thought that Breaker was... Very giving. I guess it was

<v Speaker 1>by design. Javon got a lot of offense here. More

<v Speaker 1>than I think he should have. And this is one

<v Speaker 1>of the things about Bron Breaker where, you know, he

<v Speaker 1>had that match with Oba Femi at Saturday night's main event.

<v Speaker 1>And they really built it up as this battle between

<v Speaker 1>two men who have been positioned as the future of

<v Speaker 1>this company. Right? Who's it going to be? And the

<v Speaker 1>answer is clearly Oba. Oba is the one who's being

<v Speaker 1>positioned as the guy. But they had this match, and

<v Speaker 1>it's like this big battle between these two badasses. And

<v Speaker 1>I realize, like, just watching the booking of Braun Breaker

<v Speaker 1>over the last few months, he hasn't been booked in

<v Speaker 1>the same way that he was a year ago. A

<v Speaker 1>year ago, he would have been tearing through people. And

<v Speaker 1>now he's having these matches. And this was not the

<v Speaker 1>first time, but it was noticeable in there with Javon tonight.

<v Speaker 1>And I'm not saying he should have squashed him, but

<v Speaker 1>he gave him so much in this match. to where

<v Speaker 1>it was a real struggle. And then in the end,

<v Speaker 1>they did the DQ finish where it's like, he couldn't

<v Speaker 1>beat Javon on his own. He needed theory to get involved.

<v Speaker 1>He needed help from Austin theory and the referee through

<v Speaker 1>the match away. And I'm like, it just, it makes

<v Speaker 1>breaker look weak in my opinion, when they do stuff

<v Speaker 1>like that. And that's not the way that, you know,

<v Speaker 1>he should be portrayed on TV. I don't think they're

<v Speaker 1>giving him enough. They're already giving Oba the big push.

<v Speaker 1>The least you could do is at least try to

<v Speaker 1>help this guy maintain that aura that he had in

<v Speaker 1>some way instead of just kind of slowly stripping it

<v Speaker 1>away from him, which is what I kind of feel

<v Speaker 1>like they've been doing. We got a video that aired

<v Speaker 1>with Royce Keys, Bronco Nima, and Lucian Price. They were

<v Speaker 1>sitting in their car outside. It looked like they were

<v Speaker 1>filming this on their phone. Keys said that they weren't

<v Speaker 1>giving any more warning shots. He said they crossed the

<v Speaker 1>line and now nobody is safe. Then they showed Inside

<v Speaker 1>the Arena on the concourse, you know, where the concessions

<v Speaker 1>are and everything. Joe Hendry was there, and he was

<v Speaker 1>playing his guitar. He was singing his song, and there

<v Speaker 1>were fans all around him, little kids, and they were

<v Speaker 1>singing one of his songs. I couldn't really pick up

<v Speaker 1>on what the song was. I know he's got a

<v Speaker 1>new album coming out in the next week or two.

<v Speaker 1>So I don't know. Maybe it was one of his

<v Speaker 1>newer songs. All I know is they panned over, and

<v Speaker 1>they had some guy in the big J.D. McDonough Funko

<v Speaker 1>Pop head. next to him. And that led into this

<v Speaker 1>the back of the line because she is next in line.

<v Speaker 1>That brought out the Women's World Champion, Stephanie Viqueur. She

<v Speaker 1>walked out. She spoke from the aisle way. She said

<v Speaker 1>that they can talk all they want to, but she

<v Speaker 1>is the Women's World Champion. She won the title on

<v Speaker 1>her own. Liv says that that's not true. Stephanie says

<v Speaker 1>that Becky was doing her job. Liv is jealous that

<v Speaker 1>she won the title in her home country. Stephanie says

<v Speaker 1>she'll give Liv a match. So then Becky piped up.

<v Speaker 1>And so Stephanie said, look, I'll give you a match too.

<v Speaker 1>I'm not afraid to defend my title. I will go

<v Speaker 1>talk to Adam Pearce. And that's how things were left.

<v Speaker 1>My impression out of this is that they're just going

<v Speaker 1>to consolidate it and we'll probably end up with a

<v Speaker 1>triple threat. I don't think there's a need to do

<v Speaker 1>Liv and Stephanie in a singles match again. So just

<v Speaker 1>do a triple threat match is what I would imagine

<v Speaker 1>they would do, probably at Money in the Bank. Put

<v Speaker 1>all three of them in the ring together and put

<v Speaker 1>the Women's World Championship on the line. Simple as that.

<v Speaker 1>But that was the end of that segment. But we

<v Speaker 1>did learn from Raquel Rodriguez that J.D. McDonough, I think

<v Speaker 1>we learned a little bit more than maybe we were

<v Speaker 1>hoping for in this segment. He's got a great head, though,

<v Speaker 1>according to Raquel. Bailey, she got her rematch with the

<v Speaker 1>woman who put her out of action a few months ago.

<v Speaker 1>She got her rematch here with Lyra Valkyria. You know,

<v Speaker 1>Stephanie rough on the mic says gone, gone killer. I

<v Speaker 1>actually think her English has improved a lot. I think

<v Speaker 1>that was one of her better promos tonight. Again, it's

<v Speaker 1>not her first language, so she's never going to be

<v Speaker 1>completely fluent. But I was listening to her. And again,

<v Speaker 1>there's certain words she may still struggle with, but I

<v Speaker 1>actually think her English has improved a lot. So I

<v Speaker 1>didn't think she was rough on the mic at all.

<v Speaker 1>So Bayley got Lyra in the ring. She jumped Lyra

<v Speaker 1>before the bell. Then she hit her with a low-toe

<v Speaker 1>pay to the floor like she was fucking Darby Allin here.

<v Speaker 1>Once they got back inside, though, Lyra targeted Bayley's knee.

<v Speaker 1>And later in the match, Lyra escaped a rose plant attempt.

<v Speaker 1>They ended up on the floor. Bayley cleared off the

<v Speaker 1>announce desk. She was setting Lyra up for a powerbomb

<v Speaker 1>on the table. As this match is going on, by

<v Speaker 1>the way, the crowd is just dead silent. They just

<v Speaker 1>don't care about what they're seeing. They're not reacting to anything.

<v Speaker 1>The near falls, Bailey doing a comeback. It doesn't matter.

<v Speaker 1>They're just not making any noise. They're not showing any

<v Speaker 1>sort of enthusiasm for what they're seeing here. But she

<v Speaker 1>was setting Lyra up for a powerbomb on the table.

<v Speaker 1>Lyra escaped. She gets back in the ring. And then

<v Speaker 1>back inside, Lyra, she slips through Bayley's legs, whatever Bayley

<v Speaker 1>was trying to do, and then violently sends Bayley face first,

<v Speaker 1>throat first, into the ropes. Bayley bounces backwards off the ropes,

<v Speaker 1>and Lyra rolls her up into a flash pin for

<v Speaker 1>the win. And she had a fistful of the tights too,

<v Speaker 1>which the referee did not see. There was no heat

<v Speaker 1>for this. There was no heat for this. Nobody cared.

<v Speaker 1>And to be honest with you, I wasn't really all

<v Speaker 1>that interested in this either. I know these two have

<v Speaker 1>been working together for a very long time. They were

<v Speaker 1>friends and partners, and now they're enemies. And clearly, this

<v Speaker 1>is not going to be over after what we saw here, right?

<v Speaker 1>Bayley was very upset when the match was over. She

<v Speaker 1>was trying to get at Lyra. The referee had to

<v Speaker 1>hold her back. So we're going to get another match

<v Speaker 1>between these two. And all I can hope is that

<v Speaker 1>the next match is better than the one that we

<v Speaker 1>had here. And it wasn't even like it was a

<v Speaker 1>bad match. It was a heatless match. It was just

<v Speaker 1>not a very interesting or exciting match. And it's not

<v Speaker 1>the first time that we've seen these two out there

<v Speaker 1>doing stuff where the fans just don't seem invested. I

<v Speaker 1>don't think they care for this feud. And I think

<v Speaker 1>that they're ready to just see these women move on

<v Speaker 1>to other challenges. And it's also one of the reasons

<v Speaker 1>why all this talk and chatter about Bayley and her

<v Speaker 1>future and is she going to resign? When is her

<v Speaker 1>contract up? Might she leave and go to AEW or

<v Speaker 1>just go somewhere else? And I was kind of hoping

<v Speaker 1>that that would be the case because it's just with

<v Speaker 1>Bayley right now, It just feels to me when I

<v Speaker 1>see her on WWE television, because I've been seeing her

<v Speaker 1>on the same show for year after year after year

<v Speaker 1>after year after year. And she comes out and she's

<v Speaker 1>gone through some character transformations and they just don't stick.

<v Speaker 1>They did that thing for a while with the multiple

<v Speaker 1>voices in her head that she was hearing and then

<v Speaker 1>they abandoned it, which was probably for the better. But

<v Speaker 1>it doesn't seem to matter. Heel, baby face. There's just

<v Speaker 1>a sameness to it all. Which is why one of

<v Speaker 1>the reasons I felt like, as someone who was a

<v Speaker 1>fan of her work and a lot of the matches

<v Speaker 1>that she had had previously, it would be a lot

<v Speaker 1>more interesting to me to see her in the ring

<v Speaker 1>working with people that she has never worked with before.

<v Speaker 1>Or in some cases, working with people who she's worked with,

<v Speaker 1>but it has been a very long time since she's

<v Speaker 1>worked with them. A change of scenery can make all

<v Speaker 1>the difference in the world sometimes. She, it still to

<v Speaker 1>me feels like she would benefit so much from from

<v Speaker 1>going away and doing something different and working with other people.

<v Speaker 1>And instead, if she has re-signed and if she is

<v Speaker 1>sticking around, I just don't know how different does things

<v Speaker 1>look for her. If she re-signed for another, I don't know, two,

<v Speaker 1>three years, let's say, what does this Bailey run look like?

<v Speaker 1>You know what I mean? Like, what is there to

<v Speaker 1>get excited about? What are they going to do with

<v Speaker 1>her that's terribly different than what they're doing with her now?

<v Speaker 1>He worked very hard to bring Lola Weiss from NXT

<v Speaker 1>to Monday Night Raw, right? Fuck you, Nick Aldis. We

<v Speaker 1>got her on Raw. And so for weeks, they aired

<v Speaker 1>these Vice City vignettes in the buildup to Mexico City, right?

<v Speaker 1>only to now find out she wasn't even under contract.

<v Speaker 1>Only today did she actually put pen to paper and

<v Speaker 1>sign her raw contract. Was she holding out for more money?

<v Speaker 1>Good for her. I hope she was. So very strange

<v Speaker 1>that only now did she sign her contract. She comes

<v Speaker 1>out on stage. She says this means everything to her.

<v Speaker 1>Her mom did all that she could to give her

<v Speaker 1>a better life. She introduced her to glamour and to dance.

<v Speaker 1>Her father introduced her to martial arts and made her

<v Speaker 1>the ass kicker that she is today. She says she'll

<v Speaker 1>prove that she's the best of both worlds and that

<v Speaker 1>she is championship material. Roxanne Perez comes out to interrupt.

<v Speaker 1>Tells her that nobody cares that your daddy taught you

<v Speaker 1>how to fight. At Money in the Bank, I'm going

<v Speaker 1>to show you why. I'm levels above you and you're

<v Speaker 1>levels below me. So Lola yelled something at her in

<v Speaker 1>Spanish and then knocked her down. And that was that.

<v Speaker 1>I thought this was a very lame segment. Not really

<v Speaker 1>a whole lot more to say about it. Very weird.

<v Speaker 1>Speaking of lame segments, how about a twofer? I got

<v Speaker 1>another one for you. They showed Paul Heyman once again

<v Speaker 1>standing in the back very awkwardly all by himself for

<v Speaker 1>whatever reason in the middle of the fucking arena somewhere

<v Speaker 1>because they have a monitor there. And so he's just

<v Speaker 1>standing there in his suit and he's watching the television

<v Speaker 1>and And he's staring at Lola Weiss. I can't blame

<v Speaker 1>him for that. I don't know how long he was

<v Speaker 1>standing there for or what he was doing exactly. But

<v Speaker 1>he was clearly watching Lola Weiss, who they kept out

<v Speaker 1>there for an awkward period of time. The segment had

<v Speaker 1>already ended. And so you can see on the... It

<v Speaker 1>was like Inception. Like, on the television screen, you see Lola,

<v Speaker 1>and then behind Lola is a screen, and you see

<v Speaker 1>Paul Heyman, who's in the foreground, but then he's in

<v Speaker 1>the background, too. And Lola still has to stand there,

<v Speaker 1>because there's a referee clearly off-camera telling her, stay, stay, stay.

<v Speaker 1>The segment where we're still on. So anyway, Heyman is

<v Speaker 1>just standing there staring at this. And... Bron Breaker sidles

<v Speaker 1>up to him. And... Paul tells him, Obafemi, he's still breathing.

<v Speaker 1>And Breaker says, yep, he is, but so am I.

<v Speaker 1>I'm still breathing. Which is bad for everyone, right? Because

<v Speaker 1>and they're having these little backstage teases that are going

<v Speaker 1>where exactly? What is the big payoff to this? Or

<v Speaker 1>are we just going to run the same segments over

<v Speaker 1>and over and over again? Stay tuned, I guess. So

<v Speaker 1>now we're getting ready for the main event. And all

<v Speaker 1>of a sudden, we cut to the parking lot. We

<v Speaker 1>find 946 has attacked Solo Sokoa, who is badly beaten up.

<v Speaker 1>Got bruising on the side of his face. No blood

<v Speaker 1>this time because Netflix would just turn him into a

<v Speaker 1>giant blur, like The Flash. OTM then tosses Solo into

<v Speaker 1>the back of their SUV. They close the trunk. They realize,

<v Speaker 1>oh shit, the bloodline is on the way. Quick, get

<v Speaker 1>in the car. Like the getaway car. And they speed off.

<v Speaker 1>As Jimmy and Jay and Jacob, they give chase. Of course,

<v Speaker 1>they give up because they're not going to fucking catch him.

<v Speaker 1>So they stop running. And now they're arguing with each

<v Speaker 1>other and very upset over what just happened. L.A. Knight

<v Speaker 1>shows up and he wants to know what the hell

<v Speaker 1>just happened. So this is now the second time that

<v Speaker 1>Royce Keys and his crew have committed a felony against

<v Speaker 1>On live television. The first time was when they torched

<v Speaker 1>the Usos rental car a few weeks ago. And now

<v Speaker 1>they have kidnapped. They have abducted Solo Sokoa and taken

<v Speaker 1>him where we don't know because we never saw them

<v Speaker 1>be driving somewhere, for all we know. Where were they tonight?

<v Speaker 1>first thing we hear is Joe Tessitore plugging DoorDash. Put

<v Speaker 1>the DoorDash logo on screen. He's giving him a good plug.

<v Speaker 1>Then his voice changes to the more serious tone, talking

<v Speaker 1>about what we just saw before the commercial break, and

<v Speaker 1>then they show a replay of this felonious abduction that

<v Speaker 1>we all just witnessed. Make sure, though, you get your DoorDash.

<v Speaker 1>It's very important. Before we talk about this abduction, we've

<v Speaker 1>got to talk about DoorDash, the official sponsor of WWE.

<v Speaker 1>Unlike Dude Wipes, which I guess is the official sponsor

<v Speaker 1>of Dominic Mysterio. Do I remember when Samoa Joe was

<v Speaker 1>kidnapped by ninjas? Oh, I remember. And then he came

<v Speaker 1>back with that penis tattoo on his face. They're going

<v Speaker 1>to throw him in the Rio Grande. They're going to

<v Speaker 1>throw him somewhere. Solo coming back with a fake tattoo

<v Speaker 1>next week. Maybe he'll come back with a DoorDash tattoo

<v Speaker 1>on his fucking face. There you go. That'll make WWE happy.

<v Speaker 1>So during the break, Dominic Mysterio came up to Adam

<v Speaker 1>Pearce in the parking lot as everybody was freaking out.

<v Speaker 1>And his concern was, well, I saw what just happened.

<v Speaker 1>Does this mean that, you know, I get a free

<v Speaker 1>pass here and I qualify for money in the bank?

<v Speaker 1>Didn't make any sense because you had another person who

<v Speaker 1>was already in the match. So anyway, that request was

<v Speaker 1>obviously denied. And he sent Dom out to the ring.

<v Speaker 1>And Dom is out there and Dragon Lee is out

<v Speaker 1>there and Adam Pearce comes out. And Adam Pearce says, well, unfortunately,

<v Speaker 1>Solo Sakowa will not be a part of this main event. However,

<v Speaker 1>I promised the fans here in San Antonio a triple

<v Speaker 1>threat match. And a triple threat match is what you

<v Speaker 1>shall have. And so allow me to introduce you to

<v Speaker 1>the replacement for Solo Sakoa. And that person is this man.

<v Speaker 1>And out comes Penta. Which made sense, right? We knew

<v Speaker 1>Penta was there. And why wouldn't he get that spot, right?

<v Speaker 1>Who else are you going to give it to? So

<v Speaker 1>he comes out. People, they seem to be happy. Again,

<v Speaker 1>they were not overly loud or enthusiastic for any of this.

<v Speaker 1>But they were, clearly they were happy to see Penta

<v Speaker 1>come out for this match. So it took some time

<v Speaker 1>to get the fans in San Antonio into this. By

<v Speaker 1>the end of it, they were able to get them

<v Speaker 1>to make some noise. Lee jumped over the ropes. He

<v Speaker 1>hit a Rana. This was later in the match. He

<v Speaker 1>hit a Rana on Penta. This thing was clean, man.

<v Speaker 1>He did a dive out over the top, lands on

<v Speaker 1>Penta's shoulders, takes him over with a Rana, and one

<v Speaker 1>fell swoop. It looked great. So he races back into

<v Speaker 1>the ring. He starts running the ropes. He's going to

<v Speaker 1>do a dive. Dom caught him with a 619. Then

<v Speaker 1>he hit a Michinoku driver, rolled him up for a

<v Speaker 1>near fall. Penta got back in the ring. He hit

<v Speaker 1>a Penta driver to Dom, also for a near fall.

<v Speaker 1>Lee hit Operation Dragon for a two count. That got

<v Speaker 1>broken up by Penta. The crowd, they did start a

<v Speaker 1>This Is Awesome chant. At this point, it was very,

<v Speaker 1>very weak. Lee went to the top. Dominic pushed him

<v Speaker 1>off the robes. And then Dom went for a frog splash. Penta, though,

<v Speaker 1>got the knees up. And then Lee hit Dom with

<v Speaker 1>a Styles Clash. And Penta barely... barely got in the

<v Speaker 1>ring to break up the pin. So Penta hit Lee

<v Speaker 1>with a springboard Mexican destroyer on the apron, and that

<v Speaker 1>took him out of the picture. Dom, though, immediately, coming

<v Speaker 1>off the ropes, catches Penta with a 619. He connects

<v Speaker 1>on the follow-up frog splash, and that was probably the

<v Speaker 1>near fall that I guess may have had some people

<v Speaker 1>convinced that Dom might win. I think when Penta came out,

<v Speaker 1>People knew who was winning this match at that point.

<v Speaker 1>But if there was going to be a close near

<v Speaker 1>fall in this match that made you doubt, then this

<v Speaker 1>would have been it. Did it work on you? Maybe

<v Speaker 1>it didn't work on you, but that was the idea anyway.

<v Speaker 1>So now Dom is very frustrated. He goes to the

<v Speaker 1>corner and he pulls off one of the turnbuckle pads

<v Speaker 1>and shows it to the referee and says, here, go

<v Speaker 1>get it. He throws it out of the ring. So

<v Speaker 1>he goes to send Penta into the exposed steel. Penta

<v Speaker 1>reverses it, though, sends Dom into the buckle. And then

<v Speaker 1>he hit a springboard Mexican destroyer, and he gets the

<v Speaker 1>pin to qualify for Money in the Bank. And the

<v Speaker 1>two Money in the Bank qualifiers were the clear highlights

<v Speaker 1>of this show. The men's match was better than the

<v Speaker 1>women's match, but the women's match was good, too. If

<v Speaker 1>nothing else, I would suggest checking those matches out. I mean,

<v Speaker 1>there was nothing on this show in ring on the

<v Speaker 1>level of the two title matches that we had last week.

<v Speaker 1>But those were the two highlights. And again, I like

<v Speaker 1>the LA Knight promo. I just think it just went
