<v Speaker 1>because like, I can't imagine living your life every single

<v Speaker 1>day where you just love the drama so much that

<v Speaker 3>I too love the drama, but I love watching it

<v Speaker 3>So I need to formally apologize to the two vet

<v Speaker 3>techs and the veterinarian who were working at Lakewood Animal

<v Speaker 3>Hospital yesterday.

<v Speaker 2>Shout out to Lakewood Animal Hospital. Right there on Wadsworth.

<v Speaker 2>So I took my dogs in, routine checkup.

<v Speaker 3>It's just time for their yearly shots, their vaccinations and

<v Speaker 3>stuff like that. And we go in, and my dogs

<v Speaker 3>have never been great with the vet, but they are

<v Speaker 3>increasingly getting worse, and I feel like that's not what

<v Speaker 3>is supposed to happen.

<v Speaker 1>No, they're regressing.

<v Speaker 2>Yeah.

<v Speaker 1>That's not what you want.

<v Speaker 2>No.

<v Speaker 1>Okay, you're supposed to get braver as age goes on.

<v Speaker 1>Come on now. Right. Little pooches.

<v Speaker 3>They're getting worse. So I have two dogs, Bonzo and Bowie.

<v Speaker 3>Bowie is the larger dog. We adopted him when he

<v Speaker 3>was three, so we've had him for less time. But

<v Speaker 3>when it comes to going to the vet or going

<v Speaker 3>even to the boarding place or anywhere, he loves it.

<v Speaker 2>He loves an adventure.

<v Speaker 3>He hates other dogs, but he loves an adventure with

<v Speaker 3>other people exploring new places.

<v Speaker 2>Bonzo, on the other hand.

<v Speaker 3>He gets really shy and scared and timid and anxious.

<v Speaker 3>When he leaves our house.

<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I get that.

<v Speaker 2>When we're in the house, he's like man of the house.

<v Speaker 3>He's like little macho dog, and he runs things.

<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it is his safe space.

<v Speaker 1>He's comfortable there, yeah.

<v Speaker 3>But when we leave, he turns into a completely different dog.

<v Speaker 3>And so we were at the vet's place. Bowie gets

<v Speaker 3>his shots.

<v Speaker 2>He's okay. He's just a little bit anxious, but he's

<v Speaker 2>just more excited. He's fine. We get it done.

<v Speaker 3>Bonzo, they take him back to go give him his shots.

<v Speaker 3>It's time for him to get his shots in his butt.

<v Speaker 3>and I can hear them out the door. So they

<v Speaker 3>took him into another room, but I can hear.

<v Speaker 2>What is happening, and I just hear his feet scratching

<v Speaker 2>all over the floor. I'm like, oh no, he's thrashing around.

<v Speaker 2>I tried to warn them.

<v Speaker 3>And I'm like oh no so he comes back in

<v Speaker 3>like two minutes later and the vet tech she comes

<v Speaker 3>and she says um yeah so we were not able

<v Speaker 3>to do his shots and he did express his anal

<v Speaker 3>glands and he pooped all.

<v Speaker 1>Over oh no oh my gosh Ew, first of all, ew.

<v Speaker 2>Second of all.

<v Speaker 1>Why? What a way to say that. He expressed his

<v Speaker 1>anal glands.

<v Speaker 2>Wow.

<v Speaker 3>And it got everywhere, apparently. And I am so sorry

<v Speaker 1>be as bad as the physical toll that these jobs do. Overall,

<v Speaker 1>71 percent of these respondents reported feeling fatigue on at

<v Speaker 1>least some days. with around 20% reporting frequent fatigue during that.

<v Speaker 1>that your mental health and physical health are okay so

<v Speaker 1>the hours leading up to sleep. If you can read

<v Speaker 1>a good book, remember I did this a couple days

<v Speaker 1>ago where I said, if you read for eight minutes,

<v Speaker 1>it can help change your mood and make you sleepy

<v Speaker 1>and really kind of get you into your nighttime routine.

<v Speaker 1>That is incredibly important. If fatigue, becomes another problem. It's

<v Speaker 1>important to seek that medical attention, they say, and ensure

<v Speaker 1>that there's no other underlying, you know, medical reasons. But

<v Speaker 1>the biggest thing is people just can't sleep well. And

<v Speaker 1>the number one cause is being addicted, like we all

<v Speaker 1>are in some way or another, to our phones or

<v Speaker 1>our screen time. So if you can separate yourself from that,

<v Speaker 1>and I know it's hard, it's got vice grips on

<v Speaker 1>me too. Especially with us, one, two, three, four, five,

<v Speaker 1>we have eight screens in front of us right now.
