<v Speaker 1>You're waking up to Denver's Morning Show.
<v Speaker 2>With Nina and Josh.
<v Speaker 3>Mix 100.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, good morning from Denver's Morning Show with Nina and Josh.
<v Speaker 4>What a weekend.
<v Speaker 1>It was busy.
<v Speaker 4>It really was.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, we kicked it off on Friday together. We
<v Speaker 2>went out to Wash Park and we kind of put.
<v Speaker 4>The people of Denver on... a bit of a scavenger
<v Speaker 4>hunt to find us for some Bruno Mars tickets.
<v Speaker 3>A little bit, and it was so funny to see
<v Speaker 3>the reactions of people and how we didn't have to
<v Speaker 3>wait very long.
<v Speaker 2>No, it was like 25-ish minutes total, I would say.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, it wasn't too bad, but we were waiting, waiting, waiting,
<v Speaker 3>and then all of a sudden it just happens all
<v Speaker 3>at once, right? Yeah. And then everybody shows up and
<v Speaker 3>you're like, oh, you know, we only had the one pair,
<v Speaker 3>but it was so funny to see The people sprinting
<v Speaker 3>towards us and see the reactions of the girl that won.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, come on, Tasha.
<v Speaker 3>That was unbelievable. It was such a fun little thing.
<v Speaker 3>I hope we get to do more of that type
<v Speaker 3>of stuff.
<v Speaker 4>Absolutely.
<v Speaker 2>I'm going to push for that because that was a
<v Speaker 2>lot of fun. And yeah, Tasha, she lived nearby in
<v Speaker 2>Wash Park. And what happened is her friend, Sarah... saw
<v Speaker 2>our contest, and her friend Sarah is like, girl, they're
<v Speaker 2>around the corner from your house. I need you to
<v Speaker 2>run to the park and get these tickets, and we
<v Speaker 2>will go see Bruno Mars on Saturday.
<v Speaker 4>And that's exactly what happened.
<v Speaker 1>It's so cool. She was like, yeah, go now. She
<v Speaker 1>was on the phone still.
<v Speaker 4>She was on the phone, like speakerphone, everything.
<v Speaker 3>When Tasha got to us and was freaking out over
<v Speaker 3>the phone, it was so funny.
<v Speaker 1>We kind of tried to say hi to her. I
<v Speaker 1>don't even know if she heard us over the screams.
<v Speaker 3>It was so funny, but I love seeing what a
<v Speaker 3>good friend Tasha was too, of like literally sprinting.
<v Speaker 1>She's like, okay, yeah, I live here. Absolutely. Let's go, go, go.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>And it was awesome to meet her. also meet James
<v Speaker 1>who came later.
<v Speaker 3>And it was just such a fun time to be
<v Speaker 3>able to make someone's weekend, right?
<v Speaker 4>Oh, absolutely. And they had a great time at the show.
<v Speaker 2>They sent us a photo of them sitting in the
<v Speaker 2>bleachers at Bruno Mars and tagged us in a video
<v Speaker 2>as well on Instagram. And it was a great time
<v Speaker 2>all around. And then, yes, Bruno did take over Colorado Springs.
<v Speaker 2>There is So much to unpack from that show. Everything
<v Speaker 2>from on the way there, I have my own thoughts
<v Speaker 2>about that, which we'll get into later. But the show
<v Speaker 2>was incredible. Bruno killed it. That was my first time
<v Speaker 2>seeing him live, and he was so good.
<v Speaker 1>Like he always does, though. The dude's a born performer.
<v Speaker 3>I do have one little thing I want to talk
<v Speaker 3>about the songs that we might not have to get
<v Speaker 3>into right away, but there's one tiny thing after an
<v Speaker 3>amazing performance by him that I want to talk.
<v Speaker 4>About at some point.
<v Speaker 3>Okay.
<v Speaker 4>I think around 6.30 we should just break down Bruno.
<v Speaker 1>How about that?
<v Speaker 2>Beautiful.
<v Speaker 1>Let's do it. Break down Bruno at 6.30.
<v Speaker 2>Sounds good. Thank you for waking up with Denver's Morning Show.
<v Speaker 2>We're Nina and Josh. And coming up about six minutes away,
<v Speaker 2>we have your celebrity quickie.
<v Speaker 4>Of course, the MTV VMAs were last night.
<v Speaker 2>And they didn't quite go off without a hitch, and
<v Speaker 2>we'll talk about it soon. Well, the MTV VMAs were
<v Speaker 2>last night, and it did not quite go as planned
<v Speaker 2>from the start. So this was the first time that
<v Speaker 2>the awards aired on CBS, and there was a football
<v Speaker 2>game on right before the VMAs that went a little
<v Speaker 2>bit late.
<v Speaker 4>So it pushed the VMAs back by 20 minutes. And
<v Speaker 4>here's the thing.
<v Speaker 2>The show went on in real life as planned, but
<v Speaker 2>the broadcast was really delayed 20 minutes. So fans watching
<v Speaker 2>online or fans that were watching it live on their TV,
<v Speaker 2>they started seeing spoilers online because in real life it
<v Speaker 2>was 20 minutes ahead. Yeah.
<v Speaker 4>It was a tough thing because people were complaining about it.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, totally. And I understand that completely.
<v Speaker 3>I also feel like in this world where everything is
<v Speaker 3>at least delayed a little bit and leaks happen and
<v Speaker 3>things like that, we should be kind.
<v Speaker 1>Of used to that.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>And also, if you know that's going to happen and
<v Speaker 3>you see that a football game is going long, just.
<v Speaker 1>Don't open Twitter. Or X. Sorry, don't open X, you know? Like,
<v Speaker 1>there's ways around that.
<v Speaker 4>There are, but at the same time, they're not.
<v Speaker 2>Like, you'd have to fully stay off the internet the
<v Speaker 2>whole time.
<v Speaker 4>And that a little bit defeats the purpose.
<v Speaker 2>So, Josh, I don't know if you've ever done this before,
<v Speaker 2>but the girlies love to watch something live.
<v Speaker 4>And then you get on the internet.
<v Speaker 2>And whether it's X or something else, you like to
<v Speaker 2>basically live tweet it.
<v Speaker 1>Of course.
<v Speaker 4>And it's so much fun.
<v Speaker 2>It's actually so much fun. The interaction, the back and forth,
<v Speaker 2>the memes, the jokes, everything like that. But because everything
<v Speaker 2>was off by 20 minutes, there was.
<v Speaker 4>A lot of spoilers.
<v Speaker 2>And, oh, my God, this jaw-dropping thing happened with Madonna,
<v Speaker 2>but you're not going to see it for another 20 minutes.
<v Speaker 4>And so it was a little bit frustrating.
<v Speaker 3>I can see that for sure. I get how that
<v Speaker 3>would be a big thing to make people upset. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>I'm not the type to live tweet something, though.
<v Speaker 1>So maybe.
<v Speaker 3>OK, for me, I guess I don't really care. But also,
<v Speaker 3>are we that incapable of staying off the Internet?
<v Speaker 4>Yes, Josh.
<v Speaker 1>It's 2026.
<v Speaker 4>Okay, you're right.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sorry. Hello?
<v Speaker 4>It's not even a conversation right now.
<v Speaker 1>Okay.
<v Speaker 2>Anyway, there were some big winners at the MTV VMAs yesterday.
<v Speaker 4>Madonna won a lot.
<v Speaker 2>She won Artist of the Year over Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande,
<v Speaker 2>Sabrina Carpenter, and everyone was kind of side-eyeing that win
<v Speaker 2>because these are supposed to be fan votes.
<v Speaker 4>And people are like, I'm sorry.
<v Speaker 2>No disrespect to Madonna because, yes, her career and everything
<v Speaker 2>has been ongoing, but, like, how?
<v Speaker 1>I thought that was a little sideways too.
<v Speaker 3>Um, I, I saw that again, I didn't watch it live,
<v Speaker 3>but I saw that and I was like, really?
<v Speaker 4>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>Cause what was she doing to make her artist of
<v Speaker 3>the year? Like nothing against her. I know she did
<v Speaker 3>a lot this last year.
<v Speaker 1>I understand that.
<v Speaker 4>And that's what it was.
<v Speaker 2>And she came out with an album and a couple
<v Speaker 2>of music videos and this and that, but like nothing,
<v Speaker 2>nothing super major.
<v Speaker 4>I don't know.
<v Speaker 3>I never want to, I never want to question someone's
<v Speaker 3>relevancy i know she's relevant it's madonna again it's madonna.
<v Speaker 2>Like exactly exactly but how did she win artist of
<v Speaker 2>the year.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know i don't know you know what good
<v Speaker 3>for her seriously well question mark good for her we
<v Speaker 3>love that so sabrina carpenter is going to stay in
<v Speaker 3>the news here maybe she was so upset that she
<v Speaker 3>didn't win artist of the year that she's going back
<v Speaker 3>to the silver screen i don't know but she is
<v Speaker 3>going to be playing ginger rogers in an upcoming fred
<v Speaker 3>astaire biopic starring tom holland she's going to be right
<v Speaker 3>across tom holland in this Which is awesome. Director Paul
<v Speaker 3>King announced on Friday that Margaret Qualley is also going
<v Speaker 3>to join the cast portraying Fred's sister in an original
<v Speaker 3>dance partner.
<v Speaker 1>Adele Astaire.
<v Speaker 3>The still untitled film here has been in development, Nina,
<v Speaker 3>get this, for over five years.
<v Speaker 4>Wow.
<v Speaker 1>I know.
<v Speaker 3>I didn't know this, but it's based on Kathleen Riley's biography,
<v Speaker 3>The Astaires, Fred and Adele. And it's been approved by
<v Speaker 3>the Astaire family, which I love, because they wanted Sabrina
<v Speaker 3>to actually play this, right?
<v Speaker 4>Oh, nice.
<v Speaker 1>I think that's really neat.
<v Speaker 3>He says the cinematic challenge to bringing to life these
<v Speaker 3>icons of the 20th century is one that he could
<v Speaker 3>not imagine doing without Tom Holland and Sabrina Carpenter by
<v Speaker 3>his side.
<v Speaker 1>I like that. Obviously, Carpenter has a lot of acting experience.
<v Speaker 3>She started in the acting world with Disney and then
<v Speaker 3>kind of moved just to music and being like, I'm mature,
<v Speaker 3>I've grown up and all that stuff. And we love that.
<v Speaker 3>But I like that she's getting back to her roots here.
<v Speaker 4>I do too.
<v Speaker 2>And I'm sure she's excited for it and her career
<v Speaker 2>has come such a long way. And so now in
<v Speaker 2>her adult years of acting, who knows?
<v Speaker 3>When she gets to kind of go to the major
<v Speaker 3>screen now, I'm not saying that Disney's not, Disney's obviously huge,
<v Speaker 3>but to get to do a full length feature film
<v Speaker 3>in a movie like this, especially that big of a
<v Speaker 3>movie with Tom Holland, I like to see it. I'm
<v Speaker 3>excited to see her. And also I love her as
<v Speaker 3>a musical artist. So I think it's going to be
<v Speaker 3>it's going to translate really well over to the movie screen.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, the VMAs were last night, but Bruno Mars really
<v Speaker 2>took over Colorado.
<v Speaker 4>In general over the weekend on Saturday and Sunday.
<v Speaker 2>Had two sold-out shows at Falcon Stadium that we have
<v Speaker 2>to talk about. But I got to let you know, too,
<v Speaker 2>that right now we are live on YouTube. Go check
<v Speaker 2>us out and make sure you subscribe at Mix 100 Denver.
<v Speaker 4>It is brought to you by Safeway.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, Safeway Pharmacy helps you feel your best this season
<v Speaker 3>with their flu shots, prescriptions, and wellness essentials. You can
<v Speaker 3>learn more at Safeway.com or on the Safeway app.
<v Speaker 4>So at the Bruno Mars show, we went on Saturday.
<v Speaker 2>And while that show was incredible, amazing, was everything I
<v Speaker 2>wanted it to be, I'd never seen Bruno Mars live
<v Speaker 2>in concert before. And yes, he puts on an incredible show.
<v Speaker 2>He made it all worth it. But on the way there, Josh,
<v Speaker 2>I was going insane in the car.
<v Speaker 4>It took me three hours.
<v Speaker 1>For a place that is barely over an hour to
<v Speaker 1>get there.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I feel so bad for you.
<v Speaker 3>And I luckily learned my lesson years ago when I
<v Speaker 3>went to the Avs outdoor game and the absolute. rash
<v Speaker 3>fest that was to get in and out of Falcon Stadium.
<v Speaker 1>It's crazy!
<v Speaker 3>It is an active Air Force base camp, okay? So
<v Speaker 3>because of that, their security is incredibly tight, and you
<v Speaker 3>have to check in, and it just goes down to
<v Speaker 3>like a one lane where it's like you have to
<v Speaker 3>swerve through these little areas so that people that are
<v Speaker 3>ever trying to do anything horrible to this country can't
<v Speaker 3>just drive a straight line and be dangerous. It makes
<v Speaker 3>sense But also for a concert venue or for something
<v Speaker 3>massive going on, it is the worst thing ever. So
<v Speaker 3>you either have to leave at 6 a.m. or essentially....
<v Speaker 1>Be okay with missing the opening acts. Like, truly.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, for real.
<v Speaker 2>And that's kind of what happened with me. So I
<v Speaker 2>left my house. The show is supposed to start at 7.
<v Speaker 2>We knew that Bruno Mars, because we looked on the internet,
<v Speaker 2>that he wasn't going to take the stage until 9.
<v Speaker 2>But I thought Ray was going to be performing, which
<v Speaker 2>she ended up not being there.
<v Speaker 4>So I guess I'm okay with.
<v Speaker 2>missing that because she wasn't there but i would have
<v Speaker 2>also liked to have seen dj peewee aka anderson pack
<v Speaker 2>in his funny wig and doing crazy things on stage
<v Speaker 2>which i missed all of that because it just took
<v Speaker 2>so long to get in so i left my house
<v Speaker 2>at 5.15, hoping.
<v Speaker 4>Giving myself like two hours or so.
<v Speaker 3>Which is, should be totally enough time, right? Which also,
<v Speaker 3>side note really quickly, I'm sorry, is DJ Peewee slash Anderson. Paak, like,
<v Speaker 3>I don't know much about him. I know Silk Sonic,
<v Speaker 3>I understand that. Does he always rock that wig?
<v Speaker 1>I think he has. It's hilarious.
<v Speaker 4>It's so funny.
<v Speaker 2>I think he has just since DJing for Bruno Mars.
<v Speaker 4>They're just like.
<v Speaker 2>They're kind of besties, and they're just goofy, silly, funny,
<v Speaker 2>and I think that's just part of their inside joke.
<v Speaker 4>I don't really know.
<v Speaker 1>Literally having the best time ever.
<v Speaker 3>So for me, Nina, I know you had really a
<v Speaker 3>hell of a time getting down there, but for me,
<v Speaker 3>the girlfriend was on a flight, so she was late
<v Speaker 3>that day because that flight was delayed.
<v Speaker 1>So we ended up leaving.
<v Speaker 3>Literally like 7.15ish from my place.
<v Speaker 4>What?
<v Speaker 1>So, okay, hold on. You think that's going to be
<v Speaker 1>terrible and we're going to get there at like 9.15, right?
<v Speaker 3>No. We end up getting there essentially at the beginning
<v Speaker 3>of the show. I think we got there.
<v Speaker 4>You got there like a few minutes after he started.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, yeah.
<v Speaker 4>We sat by each other.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, we did not miss much at all. And I
<v Speaker 3>think it's because we were on the tail end. We
<v Speaker 3>did not hit any traffic until … trying to get
<v Speaker 3>into actual, like, Falcon Stadium.
<v Speaker 4>That's crazy.
<v Speaker 3>And so, truly, you either have to leave at 11 a.m. or,
<v Speaker 3>I guess, we just learned, leave an hour before the
<v Speaker 3>concert actually starts. Or, really, when the concert is supposed
<v Speaker 3>to be starting.
<v Speaker 2>That's insane, and I'm so mad that you guys made
<v Speaker 2>it on time now.
<v Speaker 1>We were so lucky.
<v Speaker 2>I tried to be so early. And I know it
<v Speaker 2>was because of your girlfriend's flight stuff. It's the technically
<v Speaker 2>work stuff. But, like, I tried to leave so early.
<v Speaker 2>I tried to plan ahead.
<v Speaker 4>I tried to be prepared.
<v Speaker 1>You did everything right.
<v Speaker 4>But it still took just three hours. And it was
<v Speaker 4>just so very, very, very frustrating.
<v Speaker 2>And then because of my experience, and then on the
<v Speaker 2>way out, too, we got lucky because we were in
<v Speaker 2>overflow parking.
<v Speaker 4>So we were kind of on the edge of things already.
<v Speaker 2>And we did leave before the first encore song.
<v Speaker 4>So we left a little bit early.
<v Speaker 1>We all left around the same time.
<v Speaker 3>And because of that, so kind of like you, because
<v Speaker 3>we got there so late, we were in the very
<v Speaker 3>back of the parking lot. So we had to walk
<v Speaker 3>a mile and a half to get to the car.
<v Speaker 3>But that being said, we were like the first ones out. Like,
<v Speaker 3>there was no line that we had to meander our
<v Speaker 3>way through.
<v Speaker 1>It was easier. And I heard people were not able
<v Speaker 1>to get home.
<v Speaker 3>No.
<v Speaker 1>Literally, Lena. What did you, like, till like 2.33 in
<v Speaker 1>the morning, right? Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>It said, people have been saying it took them two
<v Speaker 2>and a half hours to get out. And rideshare was
<v Speaker 2>even worse. Rides canceling on them. People were bribing rideshare.
<v Speaker 2>lift drivers who took the bribe so then they canceled
<v Speaker 2>someone else's trip it was just bad bad bad bad
<v Speaker 2>bad so terrible i don't know i mean so much
<v Speaker 2>love to colorado springs i know it was very exciting
<v Speaker 2>to have a show out there it's just the infrastructure
<v Speaker 2>with the parking and the traffic flow needs to be
<v Speaker 2>a little bit worked on i don't know that i
<v Speaker 2>personally can go to another show there Just me, myself.
<v Speaker 1>Kind of with you there.
<v Speaker 4>It was tough. I hate to say it. I know.
<v Speaker 3>And it's like I've had season tickets for the Falcons
<v Speaker 3>games from my young life. And I'm like, I love it.
<v Speaker 3>I love going down there. It's such a cool event
<v Speaker 3>and a cool venue. But I agree with you.
<v Speaker 2>It's tough.
<v Speaker 4>I just can't do it anymore. It's way too tough.
<v Speaker 4>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Three things you need to know before you go into
<v Speaker 2>the office today. Like last week, a woman went viral.
<v Speaker 2>Maybe you saw this video. After the cameras at a
<v Speaker 2>baseball game caught her with a baby carrier on, the
<v Speaker 2>child was all snuggled in. She was carrying a ton
<v Speaker 2>of food, maneuvering over to her seat, and when she
<v Speaker 2>sat down, her husband went straight for his food right
<v Speaker 2>at the top, leaving her hands full, and oh yeah,
<v Speaker 2>she's still carrying that baby, by the way.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, and Nina, this wasn't even like just a couple of,
<v Speaker 3>you know, bottles of beer or something like that and
<v Speaker 3>a popcorn. This was like multiple things of food, multiple drinks,
<v Speaker 3>and then the child on top of that?
<v Speaker 4>Exactly.
<v Speaker 1>Ridiculous.
<v Speaker 2>So people went insane over this video. Moms everywhere got upset.
<v Speaker 2>And the husbands, especially this.
<v Speaker 4>One, he got attacked for not helping more. And now
<v Speaker 4>this woman who did.
<v Speaker 2>The video, who was experiencing the whole thing, she went viral.
<v Speaker 2>She is standing up for her man right now. She
<v Speaker 2>said she got up to use the bathroom. She chose
<v Speaker 2>to bring the baby with her. And she chose to
<v Speaker 2>get food for everyone. She explained that her husband offered
<v Speaker 2>to hold the baby and take food off her lap,
<v Speaker 2>but she was like, no, no, no, I got it.
<v Speaker 2>But I think there's still something to be said about that,
<v Speaker 2>that that mom still handles everything at home.
<v Speaker 4>It sounds to me like.
<v Speaker 2>Does she not trust her husband to carry the baby
<v Speaker 2>for a little while while she goes to take a
<v Speaker 2>bathroom break?
<v Speaker 4>You know what I mean?
<v Speaker 3>There's layers to this. So obviously when someone... When something
<v Speaker 3>gets caught on camera, there's two sides of the story.
<v Speaker 3>We see the clip that happens, and then we all
<v Speaker 3>make a judgment call on, what, a 10-second, 20-second clip.
<v Speaker 3>We always do that for anything. So I'm sure there's more,
<v Speaker 3>and I'm sure the husband isn't as bad as that
<v Speaker 3>10-second clip made him out to be. And look, maybe
<v Speaker 3>the wife did say, hey, I'm going to use the restroom,
<v Speaker 3>and I'm going to change the baby as well.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe she offered that, okay? So there's layers to this, but.
<v Speaker 3>It was a bad look, and it does give that
<v Speaker 3>look to, like, the husbands are lazy and the wives
<v Speaker 3>have to do everything.
<v Speaker 1>And that's not a good look. We don't like that, right?
<v Speaker 4>No, we don't. And it just made a lot of
<v Speaker 4>people really upset for her.
<v Speaker 2>But she's claiming he's the best husband. He's the best father.
<v Speaker 2>No one has anything to worry about. Like, leave us alone.
<v Speaker 1>Look, and maybe he is. Like, honestly, maybe he is.
<v Speaker 1>But I agree. Like, when I saw the video at first,
<v Speaker 1>I was like, bro, you've got to do better. You
<v Speaker 1>have to do better. As a husband, you've got to
<v Speaker 1>do better.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know.
<v Speaker 3>Maybe it's not as bad as it looks, and I
<v Speaker 3>hope it's not.
<v Speaker 1>You know what? I hope he is the best husband ever.
<v Speaker 4>Hopefully not, but she is standing by her man.
<v Speaker 3>And we do love that. We love when people stand
<v Speaker 3>by each other. Nina, this is interesting. Permanent daylight savings
<v Speaker 3>could be coming to the United States. Now, this has
<v Speaker 3>been a bill that has been proposed for a long time,
<v Speaker 3>and it's always been pushed off, pushed off.
<v Speaker 1>Well, it's finally.
<v Speaker 3>A major possibility here. There remains the chance that we
<v Speaker 3>could be observing year round daylight savings as now the
<v Speaker 3>bill is just waiting to pass through the Senate, I believe. OK,
<v Speaker 3>so under the Sunshine Protection Act, states that do not
<v Speaker 3>exempt themselves would observe daylight savings time year round. That
<v Speaker 3>essentially means that we would never roll our clocks back anyway.
<v Speaker 3>Right now they're rolled forward, so that's where it would stay, okay?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>And the biggest thing for Denver is that we would
<v Speaker 3>get sunsets not as early as like 3.34 anymore in
<v Speaker 3>the December, January months.
<v Speaker 1>Right.
<v Speaker 3>But we would always have them around the 5 p.m.,
<v Speaker 3>6 p.m.
<v Speaker 1>Hour, okay?
<v Speaker 3>Okay.
<v Speaker 1>So later sunsets.
<v Speaker 3>However, in like the January, February months, we would also
<v Speaker 3>have sunrises around like 8.30.
<v Speaker 1>Oh. Do we like that?
<v Speaker 4>Ooh.
<v Speaker 3>Whereas spring and summer months will always be the same.
<v Speaker 3>So what we just experienced, that'll always be the same.
<v Speaker 3>The early sunrise, late sunset, which we love. An 8 a.m.
<v Speaker 4>Sunrise, though? That feels so weird. What is this, Alaska?
<v Speaker 1>So late. That's what I'm saying.
<v Speaker 3>So for us, the weird thing would be, as radio hosts,
<v Speaker 3>I like the sunset time change because.
<v Speaker 1>I can go to bed at 7 p.m. and not
<v Speaker 1>feel bad about it. It is way late. I can
<v Speaker 1>go to bed at 6 p.m. if I want to.
<v Speaker 3>And I think you and I are always in the
<v Speaker 3>minority about that because we're like.
<v Speaker 4>Our job is different.
<v Speaker 1>It's so different. And we need to go to bed
<v Speaker 1>a little bit earlier.
<v Speaker 3>So for me, I'm one of the people that's like, no, please, please,
<v Speaker 3>please let our clocks fall back.
<v Speaker 1>We love that.
<v Speaker 4>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I'm kind of indifferent when it comes to time change.
<v Speaker 2>But at the same time, I do like. when it
<v Speaker 2>changes initially, because it's like, ooh, it's so different from.
<v Speaker 4>Before, you know?
<v Speaker 3>Well, and when it does that for me, I know
<v Speaker 3>it's always, like, halfway through November-ish for us. I love
<v Speaker 3>it because I'm like, okay, we are in the holiday
<v Speaker 3>season now.
<v Speaker 1>Like, this is when the.
<v Speaker 3>Don't you love it when it gets dark at 4.15 p.m.
<v Speaker 3>and all the Christmas lights come on?
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, exactly.
<v Speaker 1>No, for real. I know that's so petty, but, like.
<v Speaker 4>Yes.
<v Speaker 1>That's a very real thing to me. So, I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I guess I can deal with it. It's not the
<v Speaker 1>end of the world.
<v Speaker 3>What it would really affect are the northernmost states, because
<v Speaker 3>those are the ones that would have suns rises at
<v Speaker 3>like 9 in the.
<v Speaker 1>Morning, which would be really weird. I would not like that.
<v Speaker 4>That's so bizarre to me. I don't know how I
<v Speaker 4>feel about it anymore. I've got to think on that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, we'll see if it impacts us and if it
<v Speaker 1>gets passed.
<v Speaker 4>All right.
<v Speaker 2>Well, the third thing you need to know is New
<v Speaker 2>Mexico is mad at us. So the United States Mint
<v Speaker 2>American Innovation $ 1 Coin Program. It celebrates innovation across all
<v Speaker 2>50 states, and new coins are released each year for
<v Speaker 2>every state through 2032. And Governor Polis is basically declaring
<v Speaker 2>war against New Mexico because he put the Pueblo chili
<v Speaker 2>on our coin this year.
<v Speaker 4>Claiming it as our own, saying we do it the best.
<v Speaker 2>This represents Colorado's history, heritage, and strong agricultural roots. The
<v Speaker 2>Pueblo chili is simply the very best chili that exists
<v Speaker 2>and a key ingredient in delicious dishes across the state
<v Speaker 2>and country. And New Mexico is livid about this.
<v Speaker 3>I love how Polis essentially is just like, Literally start
<v Speaker 3>throwing things at New Mexico.
<v Speaker 4>Literally. So they're mad. But you know what? We got
<v Speaker 4>a coin and they don't.
<v Speaker 1>In your face. Take that.
<v Speaker 4>Ella Langley. She is headed to Red Rocks. Her show
<v Speaker 4>is completely sold out.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 4>The resale. Is ridiculous.
<v Speaker 1>Like thousands of dollars.
<v Speaker 2>Thousands of dollars to buy a ticket for resale right now.
<v Speaker 1>It's just mean.
<v Speaker 4>I know it is.
<v Speaker 2>So her show, it's coming up quick, too. It's a
<v Speaker 2>week from Wednesday, October 7th.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, my gosh.
<v Speaker 4>Isn't that crazy?
<v Speaker 1>I didn't even know that.
<v Speaker 4>You break it down like that.
<v Speaker 2>It's a week from Wednesday, which is insane. So because
<v Speaker 2>this show is sold out and tickets are a hot commodity, obviously,
<v Speaker 2>Mix 100 has tickets to give away.
<v Speaker 1>Because we're the best.
<v Speaker 4>Exactly. So you have to enter the keyword.
<v Speaker 2>Your next keyword for those Ella Langley tickets is going
<v Speaker 2>to be happening right at 8 o'clock.
<v Speaker 4>So an hour from now. Do not miss.
<v Speaker 2>Out because you could go see Ella Langley at Red
<v Speaker 2>Rocks a sold out show with Mix 100.
<v Speaker 3>Which is incredible come on of course seeing Ella at
<v Speaker 3>Red like she's she's on such a rise right now
<v Speaker 3>she might not ever get to play Red.
<v Speaker 4>Rocks again exactly because.
<v Speaker 3>She's going to be doing the stadiums things and like
<v Speaker 3>that so this is like That one chance.
<v Speaker 4>This is kind of once in a lifetime.
<v Speaker 1>And we're hooking you up. Exactly. Come on.
<v Speaker 4>We're the best. So don't mess out. We have three
<v Speaker 4>keywords per day.
<v Speaker 2>Your next one is coming up at 8 o'clock with
<v Speaker 2>Mix 100. And Josh, we got to talk some sports
<v Speaker 2>right now because our Denver Broncos.
<v Speaker 4>Won last night.
<v Speaker 1>Jeez.
<v Speaker 3>I was sweating that one out. So I stayed up
<v Speaker 3>for the entire thing. I just, I love sports so much, Nina.
<v Speaker 3>For me, I don't know if you can do this
<v Speaker 3>or not, but I... I just bleed Denver sports. And so, like,
<v Speaker 3>whether it's a late Avs game, late Nuggets game, Rapids.
<v Speaker 1>Rockies, unfortunately. But the Broncos right now. I just stay
<v Speaker 1>up and watch the whole thing. I love it. So,
<v Speaker 1>the first half was one of the worst.
<v Speaker 4>It was scary.
<v Speaker 1>The worst football I've ever seen played. It was so bad.
<v Speaker 1>The Broncos.
<v Speaker 3>I saw.
<v Speaker 1>Couldn't do anything right.
<v Speaker 3>No.
<v Speaker 4>I mean, it was ridiculous. I saw the score was
<v Speaker 4>like 10-0, and I was like, uh, I don't know.
<v Speaker 3>Uh-oh.
<v Speaker 1>It was just so bad.
<v Speaker 3>So the Broncos were shut out the first half. So
<v Speaker 3>zero points in the first quarter, zero points in the
<v Speaker 3>second quarter. The Rams, I believe, were up 16-0 at half.
<v Speaker 3>So it's not like the end of the world. And
<v Speaker 3>the thing about this is I am torn. I don't
<v Speaker 3>want to say I'm like the biggest Rams fan in
<v Speaker 3>the world, but I like the Rams. I mean, our
<v Speaker 3>boss owns them. So I like the Rams, and I'm
<v Speaker 3>pulling for them. They're in the NFC, so it doesn't
<v Speaker 3>even matter truly whether I'm cheering for them or not
<v Speaker 3>for the most part because they rarely play the Broncos.
<v Speaker 4>Right.
<v Speaker 3>So... Tonight or last night was a time where I
<v Speaker 3>was really pulling for the Broncos, obviously. But the Cronkies
<v Speaker 3>were at Empower Field. The Walton Penner Group were at
<v Speaker 3>the Empower Field. Like it was a showing of just
<v Speaker 3>important people.
<v Speaker 1>Amazing.
<v Speaker 4>What up, Cronkies?
<v Speaker 1>It was unbelievable to see that.
<v Speaker 3>And I was like, OK, that's really cool that they're
<v Speaker 3>both here and they're shaking hands and being all buddy-buddy
<v Speaker 3>with each other. But then the second half happened and
<v Speaker 3>the Broncos went off. Bo Nix started actually playing football.
<v Speaker 3>It's like, oh, hey, you know what? Let's show up
<v Speaker 3>and play. The Broncos defense was stellar. Talanoa Hufunga is
<v Speaker 3>the Broncos safety. He had a pick six and then
<v Speaker 3>an interception to cap off the entire game. They just
<v Speaker 3>destroyed the Rams in the second half, which you love
<v Speaker 3>to see. Broncos now two and one and looking like, again,
<v Speaker 3>the team that they were last year. And this truly
<v Speaker 3>could have been a very early look at what the
<v Speaker 3>Super Bowl could look like.
<v Speaker 1>Rams in the NFC, Broncos in the AFC.
<v Speaker 3>Those are the two teams that were kind of supposed
<v Speaker 3>to be in the Super Bowl last year, and they
<v Speaker 3>both lost in their respective championship games. So for this
<v Speaker 3>to happen this early in the season and to see
<v Speaker 3>these two teams duke it out, it was so much fun.
<v Speaker 3>It was such a blast to see the Broncos got
<v Speaker 3>the dub. And on top of that, it was just
<v Speaker 3>a good game. It was just a fun game to watch.
<v Speaker 4>That's amazing.
<v Speaker 1>I loved it.
<v Speaker 3>I really think this could be something that we will
<v Speaker 3>see again later on in the year.
<v Speaker 2>And I just want to point something out, Josh. The
<v Speaker 2>Broncos won, and I did wear my orange on Friday.
<v Speaker 3>I know.
<v Speaker 4>I did.
<v Speaker 1>Guess who didn't?
<v Speaker 3>You.
<v Speaker 1>So we have to keep this going. Nina, I'm sorry.
<v Speaker 1>We have to keep it going.
<v Speaker 4>That's fine. We will do that. We'll keep it going. Absolutely.
<v Speaker 1>I'm superstitious.
<v Speaker 4>I'm sorry.
<v Speaker 2>So Madonna kicked off the VMAs with a performance, and
<v Speaker 2>really the whole night seemed to be for her. She
<v Speaker 2>won seven awards, including Artist of the Year. She had
<v Speaker 2>a bunch of cameos in her performances. There was Sabrina Carpenter,
<v Speaker 2>Charlie XCX, Sombra, Julia Gardner, and for some reason, Seth
<v Speaker 2>Rogen in head-to-toe leather.
<v Speaker 4>But that's a story for another day, I'm sure.
<v Speaker 2>Taylor Swift did win Video of the Year for Ophelia,
<v Speaker 2>and she did praise Dolly a whole lot in her
<v Speaker 2>acceptance speech, pretty much dedicated it to Dolly, which was
<v Speaker 2>very sweet.
<v Speaker 1>It's very sweet, yeah.
<v Speaker 2>And, of course, Taylor Swift then did release the music
<v Speaker 2>video for her latest single as well.
<v Speaker 4>Did you watch it?
<v Speaker 2>A lot going on at the VMAs. No, I had
<v Speaker 2>other things to do because we had the Broncos on.
<v Speaker 1>Amen.
<v Speaker 4>But yeah, VMAs were just kind of all over the place.
<v Speaker 2>We talked about that delay earlier on TV, so that
<v Speaker 2>was unfortunate for the VMAs. It was about 20 minutes
<v Speaker 2>behind in real life versus what was aired on TV,
<v Speaker 2>so people were complaining about that. But yeah, lots going
<v Speaker 2>on at the VMAs, and Madonna was a big, big winner.
<v Speaker 3>I saw the Seth Rogen clip. It didn't make sense
<v Speaker 3>to me, I'll be honest. I get it, he's funny
<v Speaker 3>and everything like that.
<v Speaker 1>But I don't know. I don't know.
<v Speaker 3>I feel like people try so hard to do like outlandish,
<v Speaker 3>memorable things. And again, we're talking about it. So Madonna,
<v Speaker 3>you did it right. We're talking about it.
<v Speaker 1>But I saw him. I was like, what are you
<v Speaker 1>doing there, dude?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I think both Madonna and Seth Rogen were like, hey,
<v Speaker 2>let's do something.
<v Speaker 4>And that's what they came up with.
<v Speaker 1>They're just bored. You know what? They're bored. They want
<v Speaker 1>to hang out.
<v Speaker 4>Exactly.
<v Speaker 3>Mary Poppins, the ever loved babysitter going all the way
<v Speaker 3>back to like the 60s, I think, with Julie Andrews.
<v Speaker 3>could be getting a new series reboot. And instead of
<v Speaker 3>a movie this time, it could be a TV series.
<v Speaker 1>But there's a twist.
<v Speaker 3>The twist is that it's going to be notably darker
<v Speaker 3>than the previous film adaptations.
<v Speaker 1>And this is because P.L.
<v Speaker 3>Travers, she is the original writer, the original writer of
<v Speaker 3>the Mary Poppins novels. And the nanny described in those
<v Speaker 3>books were a much darker nanny as opposed to what
<v Speaker 3>Julie Andrews did in the 60s, which is like, hey,
<v Speaker 3>I'm magical and it's bright and sunshine and rainbows next
<v Speaker 3>to me. This is much darker. It said that the
<v Speaker 3>Avengers in the books were magical, surreal, and sometimes even frightening.
<v Speaker 1>And I like this.
<v Speaker 3>So Disney's not even in the talks to be doing this.
<v Speaker 3>It could be a completely different independent film industry.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I want it to be like an A24 film. That
<v Speaker 1>is what I want. I want a horror Mary Poppins series.
<v Speaker 3>And I think it would be really interesting to have
<v Speaker 3>that take on something because we've gotten the Julie Andrews
<v Speaker 3>and then we also got the Emily Blunt that were
<v Speaker 3>both very bright and happy and exciting. I want like
<v Speaker 3>a Five Nights at Freddy's type thing. I kind of
<v Speaker 3>want it to be scary. I mean, they did this
<v Speaker 3>with Winnie the Pooh. They made a Winnie the Pooh
<v Speaker 3>horror series.
<v Speaker 4>There was a Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh. There's going
<v Speaker 4>to be a Hungry Hungry Hippos coming up soon.
<v Speaker 1>That's wild.
<v Speaker 3>I know.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, hold on. That's news to me. I'm going to
<v Speaker 1>watch it.
<v Speaker 3>But I would like to see something that makes it
<v Speaker 3>a little bit more frightening and maybe more true to
<v Speaker 3>the actual series. So I think that would be really
<v Speaker 3>neat if this happens. There's nothing completely set underway. Everything
<v Speaker 3>is still in talks. But count me in if they
<v Speaker 3>go the A24 way.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, seriously. Evil Nanny. I mean, there are documentaries in.
<v Speaker 1>Real life made about that.
<v Speaker 3>I know.
<v Speaker 1>I would like it.
<v Speaker 2>So a TikToker was walking around and saw Ella Langley
<v Speaker 2>hanging out in a parking garage with a bunch of
<v Speaker 2>her people. And he said, you know what? I'm going
<v Speaker 2>to shoot my shot. So he yelled through the fence
<v Speaker 2>at Ella Langley. And here's what he said. How many
<v Speaker 2>likes to take you on a date? And it was
<v Speaker 2>really hard to hear her in the audio, but she said,
<v Speaker 2>there's not enough in the world.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, see, that's the right response, Nina. That is the
<v Speaker 3>right response, especially because I think it was like last
<v Speaker 3>week that she was spotted with another country artist, Young Buck,
<v Speaker 3>out there.
<v Speaker 2>Yep.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I applaud the guy for taking his shot, I guess. Yeah, exactly.
<v Speaker 3>What is it, Michael Scott? You miss 100% of the
<v Speaker 3>shots you don't take? Hashtag Michael Jordan.
<v Speaker 2>I think that's what he said at the end.
<v Speaker 1>Of the video, actually. Okay, so there you go. Whatever, dude.
<v Speaker 1>Good for you.
<v Speaker 3>There's no way in heck you're going to be getting
<v Speaker 3>a shot with her.
<v Speaker 1>Not at all.
<v Speaker 2>And the thing is, is that he posted a video
<v Speaker 2>afterwards offering her flowers.
<v Speaker 4>Like, nah, bro. Gotta give it up. What the heck, dude?
<v Speaker 1>You do not stop.
<v Speaker 4>He's really, really trying, but he's got to give it up.
<v Speaker 4>I'm so sorry.
<v Speaker 2>Josh, we were just talking off the air, and this
<v Speaker 2>is like crazy to me, breaking news almost, and I
<v Speaker 2>feel like the people need to know about it because you... Infamously,
<v Speaker 2>working on a morning show, don't drink coffee like a weirdo.
<v Speaker 1>At all. I do not drink it. It doesn't touch
<v Speaker 1>my lips.
<v Speaker 2>Which I don't understand how you're able to do this
<v Speaker 2>every morning without coffee. But you just told me, which
<v Speaker 2>I think this is kind of breaking news, you're considering
<v Speaker 2>switching to coffee?
<v Speaker 4>Yes.
<v Speaker 3>Yes.
<v Speaker 1>And I hate Nina. I hate myself for this. And
<v Speaker 1>I don't know.
<v Speaker 3>I just– I'm not– this isn't a religious thing. I
<v Speaker 3>just don't drink coffee. I don't want to become– Like
<v Speaker 3>the morning show host that's addicted to coffee and like
<v Speaker 3>everybody else in the world, okay? So I've just always
<v Speaker 3>not wanted to. However, yesterday I went to a new restaurant.
<v Speaker 3>It was called Call Your Mother. Have you ever been
<v Speaker 3>to– it's a bagel shop.
<v Speaker 1>Have you ever been there before? No. There is a
<v Speaker 1>brand new one that opened in Denver. My girlfriend went.
<v Speaker 3>We went together, got an awesome breakfast, everything bagel with bacon, egg,
<v Speaker 3>and cheese.
<v Speaker 1>And they threw a little hot honey on there.
<v Speaker 2>Ooh.
<v Speaker 1>Holy smokes.
<v Speaker 4>That sounds good.
<v Speaker 3>First of all, so good. However, she got a coffee.
<v Speaker 3>And it was like the most simple order ever. I
<v Speaker 3>think it was an ice vanilla latte thing, whatever. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Again, I don't know how to order this stuff, so
<v Speaker 1>I don't know.
<v Speaker 4>You don't know. It's too complex for you. That's okay.
<v Speaker 1>No flipping clue. That being said, she always does this
<v Speaker 1>thing where she's like, you get the first sip, you
<v Speaker 1>get the first taste. I'm like, oh, it's coffee. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know. Yeah, yeah.
<v Speaker 3>Anyway, I try it and- You loved it. I loved it, Nina.
<v Speaker 3>I was like, this is hitting. What is this?
<v Speaker 4>Hold on.
<v Speaker 2>So the drink that changed your mind on coffee entirely
<v Speaker 2>was a vanilla latte, Josh?
<v Speaker 1>I've never had it. Genuinely, I've never had it. I know. Apparently, okay.
<v Speaker 1>So I also got made fun of. It's like the
<v Speaker 1>most simple thing ever, is it not?
<v Speaker 3>It is.
<v Speaker 4>It's the most basic drink. you could possibly get.
<v Speaker 1>I'm a basic white girl. Okay. No, literally.
<v Speaker 4>That's what you're telling me right now. Like, that's the
<v Speaker 4>drink that.
<v Speaker 2>Is making you change your mind on coffee is a
<v Speaker 2>vanilla latte.
<v Speaker 3>Do I have the taste buds of like a high
<v Speaker 3>school girl right now that just gets an eye?
<v Speaker 1>Before English class? No, literally.
<v Speaker 4>There are high school girls in the passenger seat.
<v Speaker 2>Their parents are driving them to school, but they're stopping
<v Speaker 2>at Starbucks on the way.
<v Speaker 4>And that's exactly what they are getting is a vanilla latte. Wait,
<v Speaker 4>iced or hot?
<v Speaker 1>Iced. Iced vanilla latte. Of course. I've never had it.
<v Speaker 1>I've never had it, Nina. I've never had it. Okay?
<v Speaker 4>You're such a basic girly.
<v Speaker 3>I cannot express to you how the rest of the
<v Speaker 3>morning I was like, hey, can I get another sip?
<v Speaker 1>Let me get just one more. And then also, hold on.
<v Speaker 3>I don't think I've ever felt. A caffeine rush from coffee.
<v Speaker 3>I love Dr.
<v Speaker 1>Pepper. This is a different one. My head felt like
<v Speaker 1>I was floating. I can't. I was like, what is happening?
<v Speaker 4>I cannot with you right now.
<v Speaker 3>I was experiencing so many firsts yesterday that I think
<v Speaker 3>I'm going to dabble.
<v Speaker 1>I really do.
<v Speaker 2>You're going to dabble in the iced vanilla latte world.
<v Speaker 1>I can't, Josh. Well, now I'm embarrassed. Is this embarrassing
<v Speaker 1>for me?
<v Speaker 4>You should be embarrassed, yes.
<v Speaker 1>As a male in my 30s?
<v Speaker 2>Really quick, before we get into No Before You Go, Josh,
<v Speaker 2>you're getting a couple texts on the text line.
<v Speaker 4>Some people saying, no, stay away from coffee, don't do it.
<v Speaker 3>I know.
<v Speaker 4>And other people saying, listen.
<v Speaker 2>I'm 30 and my favorite coffee is an iced vanilla latte.
<v Speaker 4>I don't care.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, I like that. That's good. I don't know. I'm
<v Speaker 1>so torn. I probably have to try it another time. Nina,
<v Speaker 1>it was good.
<v Speaker 4>We were just talking about it, too. So we'll perfect
<v Speaker 4>your order. Don't worry, Josh.
<v Speaker 1>OK, please. I need help. I feel like I'm 15
<v Speaker 1>years old. It's fine. All right.
<v Speaker 2>Three things you need to know before you go into
<v Speaker 2>the office today. I need to talk about Falcon Stadium.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, so much love to everyone down in Colorado
<v Speaker 2>Springs for Bruno Mars. And I know it was very
<v Speaker 2>exciting having Bruno Mars down in Colorado Springs.
<v Speaker 4>Huge show in your.
<v Speaker 2>Town instead of you guys having to come all the
<v Speaker 2>way up to Denver for But us Denverites had some
<v Speaker 2>issues getting down to the springs at Falcon Stadium. People averaging,
<v Speaker 2>myself included, three hours to get in and get parked.
<v Speaker 2>And then two and a half hours to get out
<v Speaker 2>after the show.
<v Speaker 4>And I know that they're trying.
<v Speaker 2>I just think that there is some more work to
<v Speaker 2>do when it comes to parking and traffic flow over there.
<v Speaker 3>And it's a bummer because it is not the first time.
<v Speaker 3>This isn't the first time.
<v Speaker 1>So you'd think... that they would learn, I guess.
<v Speaker 3>You would think. But honestly, I don't know, because the
<v Speaker 3>way that it is constructed, and again, I've said this
<v Speaker 3>time and time again, and I'm sorry I sound like
<v Speaker 3>a broken record. It's an active military base.
<v Speaker 4>It's not supposed to be easy to get into.
<v Speaker 1>It's not.
<v Speaker 3>And like, I've even known this just from going to
<v Speaker 3>Air Force Falcons games, which again, you're still fitting thousands
<v Speaker 3>of people in there.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>You just have to get there early.
<v Speaker 3>That's why Air Force games are so much fun to
<v Speaker 3>tailgate out because you are there seven hours early.
<v Speaker 1>Like you just are.
<v Speaker 2>Cause you have to get there and tailgate. That's what
<v Speaker 2>I've learned from this entire experience.
<v Speaker 3>Or show up at the second quarter or the second act,
<v Speaker 3>you know, like it's, It's just the way it is.
<v Speaker 3>I'm sorry, but again, you're on an active military. Would
<v Speaker 3>you rather be safe or not?
<v Speaker 4>I don't know. Well, 100%, yes, yes, yes, which I
<v Speaker 4>understand that.
<v Speaker 2>But then if that is the case, maybe we don't
<v Speaker 2>have these huge concerts there is all I'm saying.
<v Speaker 4>I don't know. It needs to be figured out either way.
<v Speaker 2>But a lot of people, it wasn't just me, a
<v Speaker 2>ton of people really had difficulties getting in and out,
<v Speaker 2>and it was an issue, and especially for rideshare.
<v Speaker 4>I feel so bad for people getting rideshare.
<v Speaker 2>People were not getting home until 2 and 3 o'clock
<v Speaker 2>in the morning, and the concert ended at 11.
<v Speaker 1>No, that's horrible.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, that was too much.
<v Speaker 1>You've got to find a better way.
<v Speaker 4>And it was cold outside, people waiting outside. It was bad.
<v Speaker 3>I was thinking about this, and this might be a
<v Speaker 3>way to do it, but the busing system. Somehow from
<v Speaker 3>Denver to Colorado Springs, there's got to be a way
<v Speaker 3>to get a busing system down there.
<v Speaker 1>And then maybe.
<v Speaker 3>near the base is where you can do a ride
<v Speaker 3>share thing and then people can.
<v Speaker 4>Then the buses just get stuck in that same traffic.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah but if you if you get enough people on
<v Speaker 3>buses and maybe it's free or comes with the tickets
<v Speaker 3>that you buy or something like that if they know
<v Speaker 3>they're gonna do this they can add you know maybe
<v Speaker 3>an upcharge of 15 bucks or whatever but they know
<v Speaker 3>they'll get us down there it'll be less cars on
<v Speaker 3>the road so it's just less cars out there being
<v Speaker 3>transported and Other than that, I mean, you literally have
<v Speaker 3>to parachute in if you want to not be late.
<v Speaker 1>It was just an issue.
<v Speaker 4>That's all I'm saying. It was a bit of an issue.
<v Speaker 3>Well, Nina, I want to talk, and this is hilarious.
<v Speaker 3>I did not mean to do this. You and I
<v Speaker 3>just talked about how I am now being introduced to coffee.
<v Speaker 4>Yes.
<v Speaker 3>Denver's being put on the map as one of America's
<v Speaker 3>best coffee cities.
<v Speaker 1>I love this.
<v Speaker 3>This makes me so happy. Denver was put on at
<v Speaker 3>the number 15 spot, okay? And we know Starbucks, coming
<v Speaker 3>from Seattle, put Seattle at the number five spot.
<v Speaker 1>So Starbucks is like top five.
<v Speaker 3>But Denver's now top 15.
<v Speaker 1>And I like this.
<v Speaker 3>And it's all because of the mom and pop shops
<v Speaker 3>that are here. They know their coffee. They really understand
<v Speaker 3>out of a– I'm trying to look at this. It's
<v Speaker 3>a 100-point system. that Denver's overall score was about 60
<v Speaker 3>out of 100, which puts them at the number 15 spot.
<v Speaker 3>Number 14 was Los Angeles. Right before we get Los
<v Speaker 3>Angeles probably has hundreds of thousands of those little coffee shops,
<v Speaker 3>you know, hole-in-the-wall spot. But other than that, Denver also had,
<v Speaker 3>or Colorado as a whole, also had Colorado Springs and
<v Speaker 3>Aurora on that list for the least expensive cappuccinos as well,
<v Speaker 3>which we really like that because— Aurora, this is funny,
<v Speaker 3>Aurora went from the most expensive to the number two
<v Speaker 3>overall cheapest for the cappuccinos.
<v Speaker 4>Okay.
<v Speaker 1>And as a brand new coffee drinker, I love that
<v Speaker 1>we're getting cheaper out here. That makes me very happy.
<v Speaker 3>Because I don't want to pay a hand over fist.
<v Speaker 1>For just a cup of coffee.
<v Speaker 4>Right, exactly, exactly.
<v Speaker 3>And that's what everybody's complaining about is how expensive they are.
<v Speaker 3>So if they're going down, I love it.
<v Speaker 4>And shout out to all the mom and pop coffee
<v Speaker 4>shops out there.
<v Speaker 1>We love you guys, seriously.
<v Speaker 3>And the way that they set up their shops and
<v Speaker 3>you can just, you know, do homework or have a
<v Speaker 3>good conversation with friends.
<v Speaker 1>I just love it. I love the ambiance.
<v Speaker 4>For sure.
<v Speaker 2>And the last thing you need to know is the
<v Speaker 2>NFL has been handing out a lot of fines centered
<v Speaker 2>over beer. So instead of like dancing, because they've really
<v Speaker 2>cracked down on the touchdown celebrations, there are beer related
<v Speaker 2>touchdown celebrations now that are getting fines. So the 49ers,
<v Speaker 2>there was a player there that got hit with a $ 14, 000
<v Speaker 2>fine for.
<v Speaker 4>For pretending to chug a beer after scoring.
<v Speaker 2>And then Cowboys tight end got the same treatment, $ 13, 000
<v Speaker 2>fine for imitating shotgunning a beer after a touchdown. And
<v Speaker 2>a Colts player was issued a fine of over $ 8, 000
<v Speaker 2>for a similar gesture of drinking beer, pretending to drink beer.
<v Speaker 1>Can I go off for one second? Go ahead. One second.
<v Speaker 1>This pisses me off. The NFL is called the No
<v Speaker 1>Fun League for so many reasons.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, yeah.
<v Speaker 1>And it is because of this.
<v Speaker 3>They make billions of dollars off of beer ads, beer commercials.
<v Speaker 3>I'm talking ads like at the actual stadium. The amount
<v Speaker 3>of beer they sell at stadiums.
<v Speaker 1>True. The commercials on TV. Bush Light, Bud Light, Coors Light.
<v Speaker 3>Uh-huh. Nina, first of all, I know the player you're
<v Speaker 3>talking about for the 49ers. His name is Kyle Juszczyk.
<v Speaker 1>Juszczyk.
<v Speaker 3>It's a very hard name to spell, but people call
<v Speaker 3>him Juice because of the way his last name is spelled.
<v Speaker 1>Okay. You can say whatever you want. He did the
<v Speaker 1>little tip it back thing.
<v Speaker 3>However, he said, he goes, I have been known as
<v Speaker 3>juice my entire career. I was drinking juice, whether it
<v Speaker 3>was juice or a pretend beer. The NFL makes so
<v Speaker 3>much money. Why are you finding players?
<v Speaker 4>You're so right. You're so right. You're so, you're getting red.
<v Speaker 4>You're flustered over there. You're getting mad.
<v Speaker 2>Okay.
<v Speaker 3>I can't even get my words straight because of how
<v Speaker 3>upset this makes me. What I love is that there
<v Speaker 3>are beer companies around the nation right now. I know
<v Speaker 3>one specifically in California has raised money and said, we're
<v Speaker 3>going to pay all the fines every single year. Every
<v Speaker 3>single time he chugs a beer, a fake, some juice,
<v Speaker 3>they're going to.
<v Speaker 1>Pay the fine. I love it. I love that beer
<v Speaker 1>companies are putting their names out there as well. It's fantastic.
<v Speaker 4>Well, good. Yeah, the No Fun League. I like that.
<v Speaker 1>That gets me so mad.
<v Speaker 2>So Miss Reba McIntyre opened up about the final call
<v Speaker 2>she received from Dolly Parton, and she actually missed that
<v Speaker 2>phone call. So this happened at the end of July,
<v Speaker 2>and Reba says that she was in a meeting. She
<v Speaker 2>missed Dolly's call, but she saw... that Dolly Parton was
<v Speaker 2>trying to call her, and Reba actually tried to call back,
<v Speaker 2>but she never got through, never.
<v Speaker 4>Got connected to Dolly.
<v Speaker 2>And then when the news hit on August 25th that
<v Speaker 2>Dolly passed away, she realized that that was her final
<v Speaker 2>phone call from her friend, and she missed it.
<v Speaker 1>Really heartbreaking, to be honest.
<v Speaker 3>Honestly.
<v Speaker 1>And Reba's also one of those.
<v Speaker 3>ladies that is just like the nicest lady in the world.
<v Speaker 1>Like she always seems so happy.
<v Speaker 3>And it's such a bummer that for whatever reason, meetings, whatever,
<v Speaker 3>she was just unable to get that call and then
<v Speaker 3>never get in touch with her again.
<v Speaker 2>You know, it's so, so sad and heartbreaking. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>Reba and Dolly have been friends for years and years
<v Speaker 2>and years, but yeah, it's just so sad that it
<v Speaker 2>happened that way.
<v Speaker 4>And Dolly, she, she hid the fact that she was sick.
<v Speaker 2>From most people. So I don't even think Reba realized
<v Speaker 2>she was sick. And was calling her, you know, on
<v Speaker 2>one of.
<v Speaker 4>Her final phone calls.
<v Speaker 3>Well, I think Reba said she'll, like, she tried to
<v Speaker 3>call back, obviously didn't get the answer. So I think
<v Speaker 3>she said, like, there wasn't a message left. She said,
<v Speaker 3>I'll never know what her reason for calling was.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. And I hate that. Like, that, it's not the,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, the closure, I guess, that you don't get.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>It's heartbreaking.
<v Speaker 3>It is.
<v Speaker 1>It really is.
<v Speaker 2>It really, really is. I mean, we miss Dolly every
<v Speaker 2>single day. And actually, yesterday at the VMAs, there was
<v Speaker 2>a Dolly video. Parton tribute.
<v Speaker 4>It was very, very beautiful.
<v Speaker 2>It was performed by Kacey Musgraves, who did a great
<v Speaker 2>job at the VMAs yesterday with it.
<v Speaker 1>That's awesome.
<v Speaker 3>As one should, you should give her the tribute because
<v Speaker 3>she is such a mega star in the country and
<v Speaker 3>just in the world not just even the VMAs in
<v Speaker 3>the country world but in the world she is such
<v Speaker 3>a massive star we're going to keep it at the
<v Speaker 3>VMAs Taylor Swift obviously she is a perennial all star
<v Speaker 3>there She has taken home so many different VMAs. Well,
<v Speaker 3>she took home the inaugural Artist Director Honors on Sunday night.
<v Speaker 3>And it has made her the most awarded artist in
<v Speaker 3>VMA history. She has been tied with Beyonce for that
<v Speaker 3>title with 30 VMAs.
<v Speaker 1>I know, you gasped.
<v Speaker 4>Beyonce!
<v Speaker 1>They both had 30 VMAs.
<v Speaker 3>And then she did break the record as this new
<v Speaker 3>award is meant to recognize artists whose work behind the
<v Speaker 3>camera is has expanded the possibilities of music video and
<v Speaker 3>advanced the art of visual storytelling. And I believe that
<v Speaker 3>does actually show Taylor's ability.
<v Speaker 1>To do that.
<v Speaker 4>Is that because Taylor directed the music video?
<v Speaker 1>Yes. So it's the behind the scenes thing.
<v Speaker 3>And look, Taylor has opened doors for music videos and
<v Speaker 3>women in music videos and things like that for years
<v Speaker 3>and years and years now. So I believe that is
<v Speaker 3>deservedly so going to her.
<v Speaker 1>For sure. But I don't know.
<v Speaker 3>Are you okay with her breaking? I know you're a
<v Speaker 3>Beyoncé stan.
<v Speaker 2>I am.
<v Speaker 1>Are you okay with her breaking?
<v Speaker 4>I'm part of the Beehive. You roll your eyes at me. No,
<v Speaker 4>I'm not. I do like Taylor Swift. I love her
<v Speaker 4>a lot.
<v Speaker 2>And I know that her fandom is major. Same with
<v Speaker 2>the Beehive for Beyoncé. and they have kind of a feud,
<v Speaker 2>the fandom.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, really?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, they really do, and I think it's silly, and
<v Speaker 2>I personally don't like to be part of it just
<v Speaker 2>because I like both.
<v Speaker 1>Is this fandom feud, or is this a feud between
<v Speaker 1>Beyonce and Taylor?
<v Speaker 2>No, so Beyonce and Taylor tried to calm it down,
<v Speaker 2>being like, hey, y'all, we're friends.
<v Speaker 4>You guys need to chill out, but the fandom.
<v Speaker 2>They've kind of run amok themselves, and they're very against
<v Speaker 2>each other.
<v Speaker 4>And I don't know. I don't condone it, but that's
<v Speaker 4>what it is.
<v Speaker 1>So is it just because of these VMAs?
<v Speaker 2>Just so many comparisons, and they feel Beyonce's been treated unfairly,
<v Speaker 2>even though she's been in the industry longer than Taylor
<v Speaker 2>Swift has, and different things, and whatever.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, treated unfairly, she also has 30 VMAs. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>she does. She does. She does.
<v Speaker 2>And I will say, Taylor Swift, her being the most awarded,
<v Speaker 2>it's because she... releases these music videos and these movies
<v Speaker 2>that have her full concert up on stream. And like,
<v Speaker 2>I love Beyonce, obviously, but she holds that close and
<v Speaker 2>then she.
<v Speaker 4>Locks it up.
<v Speaker 2>We still can't see the Renaissance film again.
<v Speaker 4>And I'm so mad about it.
<v Speaker 3>And, and, but I think that makes it all the
<v Speaker 3>more special where I think Taylor is a fantastic storyteller.
<v Speaker 3>And I'm not saying Beyonce is not, but Taylor does
<v Speaker 3>this thing where she will go and give you looks
<v Speaker 3>that Probably no other artist pulls back the curtain like that.
<v Speaker 3>And so because of that, there might be a bias
<v Speaker 3>in giving her these awards because they're like, hey, look,
<v Speaker 3>you're letting us into your life.
<v Speaker 1>You're right. Totally. So maybe that's kind of giving her
<v Speaker 1>the leg up right now.
<v Speaker 4>I can agree with that.
<v Speaker 1>But I love you, Beyonce. Don't be mad at me.
<v Speaker 4>There you go.
<v Speaker 2>So Ray did not perform at the Bruno Mars shows
<v Speaker 2>this weekend because she was at the MTV VMAs. With
<v Speaker 2>her boo thing, she and Michael B. Jordan were seen
<v Speaker 2>making out on the red carpet.
<v Speaker 1>The Michael B.
<v Speaker 4>Jordan? Yeah. And so I'm.
<v Speaker 2>Actually really mad about this because they wanted to pretend
<v Speaker 2>like they were friends hanging out at a theme park
<v Speaker 2>when they were spotted months ago.
<v Speaker 3>Oh.
<v Speaker 4>And everyone's like, oh, you guys are dating. This is
<v Speaker 4>a date.
<v Speaker 2>And they were like, no, two friends can just hang
<v Speaker 2>out at the theme park.
<v Speaker 4>Like, please.
<v Speaker 2>And now you're going to be making out on the
<v Speaker 2>red carpet in front of everyone at the VMAs?
<v Speaker 3>Uh-uh.
<v Speaker 4>I'm mad about it.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's an interesting couple. Isn't he quite a bit
<v Speaker 1>older than her?
<v Speaker 4>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>Which, I mean, is fine. Like, who cares? Whatever.
<v Speaker 4>Age is just a number, baby.
<v Speaker 1>Especially in Hollywood.
<v Speaker 2>Coming up soon, I mean, we're nearly into October.
<v Speaker 4>We're basically there.
<v Speaker 1>Which is insane. Yes.
<v Speaker 2>And not that long ago, Josh, we went into Spirit
<v Speaker 2>Halloween to start looking at costumes. This is something that
<v Speaker 2>everyone needs to start thinking about. And make your plans
<v Speaker 2>to head over to the Elitch Gardens Pet.
<v Speaker 4>Parade with Mix 100. I'm so excited for this.
<v Speaker 2>This is the first time we're teaming up with Elitch
<v Speaker 2>Gardens for the Pet Parade. And it's going to be
<v Speaker 2>on Saturday, October 10th from noon until 3. They're letting
<v Speaker 2>you bring the doggos into Elitch Gardens, which is exciting.
<v Speaker 2>And we want you to dress up your little furry
<v Speaker 2>friend for the costume contest. There is going to be
<v Speaker 2>a puppy costume contest to win some awesome prizes and
<v Speaker 2>see the cutest little creatures in Colorado. You can sign
<v Speaker 2>up your best friend at Mix100.
<v Speaker 4>Com. And you have to think about what you're going
<v Speaker 4>to dress them.
<v Speaker 2>Up as because with this costume contest, I mean, it
<v Speaker 2>gets competitive.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>They want to win too, little doggos.
<v Speaker 4>They do.
<v Speaker 2>And I just want to say that I have, I
<v Speaker 2>guess my formal announcement is I have been asked to
<v Speaker 2>be one of the guest judges at the Elitch Gardens
<v Speaker 2>Pet Parade.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>I got a case of the peanut butter and jellies.
<v Speaker 1>I'm so jealous. That's awesome.
<v Speaker 3>What?
<v Speaker 2>It's going to be Saturday, October 10th. I'm so excited
<v Speaker 2>for it. And I can't wait to just see. I
<v Speaker 2>love creative costumes.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah.
<v Speaker 4>But seeing any pet in a costume just makes me
<v Speaker 4>jump for joy. I love it so much.
<v Speaker 1>Automatically. I love those. I love the little ones.
<v Speaker 3>It's like, I don't know, if you have like a
<v Speaker 3>little wiener dog or whatever, you can dress them up.
<v Speaker 3>And I've seen it so many times as a little Chucky.
<v Speaker 3>So a little Chucky doll. And it looks like their
<v Speaker 3>front legs are his legs. And he's got a little
<v Speaker 3>knife and he's running around trying to get you. The
<v Speaker 3>cutest thing ever. Because Chucky's like a scary doll. When
<v Speaker 3>it's a little schnauzer, it's adorable.
<v Speaker 1>I love it.
<v Speaker 4>Then it's cute. And then it's cute.
<v Speaker 1>It is. That's right.
<v Speaker 4>There's a lot of people, though.
<v Speaker 2>There's this divide between people on dressing up your pets.
<v Speaker 2>Is it okay or not? I know a lot of
<v Speaker 2>people are like, yeah, it's fine. They like it. My
<v Speaker 2>dog likes, you know, like a thunder coat. They like
<v Speaker 2>to have something on. It makes them feel more comfortable.
<v Speaker 2>But then a lot of people are like, no, don't
<v Speaker 2>dress up your pets.
<v Speaker 4>It's mean.
<v Speaker 2>They obviously don't like it. So it's interesting, the discourse.
<v Speaker 2>And I'm curious your thoughts on it. Text us, 303-691-1MIX.
<v Speaker 2>Is it okay to dress up your pets?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that. And hold on. And if you have dressed
<v Speaker 1>up your pet, send us pics.
<v Speaker 4>Oh, absolutely. Because we want to see it.
<v Speaker 3>Please send us what you've dressed up your little dogs
<v Speaker 3>and cats or horses or whatever you have. I don't know,
<v Speaker 3>your emotional support lizard. Whatever you guys have. I think
<v Speaker 3>they're so cute.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. I don't think it's wrong.
<v Speaker 4>I don't either.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, they hang out with you all day. You
<v Speaker 2>let them sleep on the couch one time.
<v Speaker 4>Like, it's fine. They get over it.
<v Speaker 3>Like, that whole thing, too, is like, you know, I
<v Speaker 3>had a family with many kids. We had five kids
<v Speaker 3>in the family. And then we also had pets and
<v Speaker 3>any type of dog and cat, too. And us as
<v Speaker 3>young kids, we're pulling on the ears. We're playing with them. We're,
<v Speaker 3>you know, grabbing onto their fur. And there's so many
<v Speaker 3>other things that you'd think they'd hate. And yet they
<v Speaker 3>all loved us as little kiddos. So I don't think putting...
<v Speaker 3>you know, a little cape on a dog is going
<v Speaker 3>to be the end of the world.
<v Speaker 2>And there's also different, I guess, extremes in dressing up
<v Speaker 2>your pet.
<v Speaker 4>You know, sometimes it's basically just a sweater and it's fine.
<v Speaker 2>Or if your pet is okay with having more stuff
<v Speaker 2>on it, then you add the headpiece and little sunglasses
<v Speaker 2>or whatever it is.
<v Speaker 3>And you can tell usually because they'll start trying to
<v Speaker 3>take it off if they don't like it.
<v Speaker 1>My favorite thing, and I don't know if this is
<v Speaker 1>cruel or not. I don't think it is. I really don't.
<v Speaker 3>But my favorite thing still is to try to watch
<v Speaker 3>The pets walk when you put booties on them, when
<v Speaker 3>you cover their feet, and they just cannot get it correct.
<v Speaker 3>And each leg is moving in a different direction. They're like,
<v Speaker 3>I don't know how to do this.
<v Speaker 4>So, so cute.
<v Speaker 1>So good.
<v Speaker 4>I love it.
<v Speaker 3>I love it.
<v Speaker 2>Well, yes, I am going to be one of the
<v Speaker 2>guest judges at the Elitch Gardens Pet Parade. It is
<v Speaker 2>next Saturday, October 10th. You can go sign up your
<v Speaker 2>pet right now. To participate and win some prizes, just
<v Speaker 2>go to amix100.
<v Speaker 4>Com. And remember, I'm going to be the judge. So
<v Speaker 4>I don't know if you just like dress up your
<v Speaker 4>pet as Beyonce or something.
<v Speaker 1>Instant win.
<v Speaker 4>Winner!
<v Speaker 2>And coming up, we got Cider Days in Lakewood. It's
<v Speaker 2>going to be the 50th Cider Days, which is exciting.
<v Speaker 4>Isn't that crazy?
<v Speaker 1>That's awesome. And I've been to Cider Days. It is
<v Speaker 1>a must-go-to.
<v Speaker 3>If you have not been there before, the event they
<v Speaker 3>put on, it is so well done.
<v Speaker 1>I love it. The drinks, the food. Fantastic event.
<v Speaker 4>Yes. No, it really is.
<v Speaker 2>It's great for fall. It's great for the kids. It's
<v Speaker 2>great for date night, hanging out with your friends, like
<v Speaker 2>whatever it is, because it's just such like fall vibes.
<v Speaker 2>Because like you said, they have the food. They have
<v Speaker 2>the apple cider. They have all of it.
<v Speaker 4>And on top of that, they have a full schedule
<v Speaker 4>full of stuff. That they do.
<v Speaker 2>They'll have different, like, they'll show you how to do
<v Speaker 2>things the old timey way, you know?
<v Speaker 3>Yes.
<v Speaker 4>Very important for agriculture and things like that. But it
<v Speaker 4>is fun.
<v Speaker 2>So it's happening Saturday and Sunday, October 3rd through the 5th, actually.
<v Speaker 2>at Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park. So go and check that out.
<v Speaker 2>And yes, they do have a beer garden as well.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, duh, obviously. Obviously.
<v Speaker 3>You know, Nina, speaking of something that made me want
<v Speaker 3>to start drinking cider last night, for the first half,
<v Speaker 3>that Broncos game. Now, I don't know if you watched
<v Speaker 3>the entire game, but A lot of people– it was
<v Speaker 3>a later game. It was the nightcap game yesterday. And
<v Speaker 3>obviously you and I get up at the crack of dawn. Right.
<v Speaker 1>All that good stuff.
<v Speaker 3>So I forced myself to stay up for these games
<v Speaker 3>because I just– I'm.
<v Speaker 1>A sports addict.
<v Speaker 3>You did?
<v Speaker 4>Wait, so you watched the whole thing last night?
<v Speaker 3>The entire thing. Oh, yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I did not. I probably fell asleep because– hey, spoiler alert.
<v Speaker 1>The Broncos ended up winning. Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>I probably fell asleep at around midnight because after that, Nina,
<v Speaker 3>I got so hyped up.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I was laying in bed like, go to sleep, go
<v Speaker 1>to sleep, go to sleep, go to sleep. And I
<v Speaker 1>could not. I couldn't sleep.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, no.
<v Speaker 3>I just get so excited about this. I'm a diehard
<v Speaker 3>Denver sports fan. I cannot help it.
<v Speaker 1>It's in my blood, Nina. Right. And so I'm watching
<v Speaker 1>the game last night. The first half was... horrendous.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, it was not looking good. I was like, man,
<v Speaker 4>it was.
<v Speaker 1>It was awful.
<v Speaker 3>Like, that's the only way to describe it. I was like,
<v Speaker 3>let me get some of that cider.
<v Speaker 1>But then, of course, the.
<v Speaker 3>Second half happens and I don't know how they do this.
<v Speaker 3>But the Broncos just start freaking playing football. Yeah, it's
<v Speaker 3>just good. The way they do it is so much
<v Speaker 3>better in the second half than it is the first half.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know why.
<v Speaker 4>They just needed to get warmed up. That's all.
<v Speaker 3>Okay.
<v Speaker 1>Well, you're killing me. Like, literally, you're killing me. So,
<v Speaker 1>that's fine. It is what it is.
<v Speaker 3>The Broncos end up winning on two interceptions from Talanoa Hufunga,
<v Speaker 3>number nine for the Denver Broncos.
<v Speaker 1>Yes.
<v Speaker 3>One was a pick six, which was awesome. Bo Nix
<v Speaker 3>did just enough to get it done. The Broncos' D
<v Speaker 3>was immaculate, and they beat what could be a Super
<v Speaker 3>Bowl favorite team right there in the LA Rams.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. And also... That's our boss. Right. It's Mr. Cronky. Whoopsies.
<v Speaker 1>Sorry to you. We had nothing to do with it.
<v Speaker 3>Right.
<v Speaker 1>Go Avs.
<v Speaker 3>But no, it was just a fun game to watch.
<v Speaker 3>The Broncos are now riding that hot streak, and they're
<v Speaker 3>going to absolutely... Take it into next week, God willing.
<v Speaker 3>We'll see what happens. You and I have to wear
<v Speaker 3>the exact same outfits on Friday, okay?
<v Speaker 4>Okay, deal. I mean, if you are this superstitious, I
<v Speaker 4>will do it just for you, Josh. Just for you.
<v Speaker 1>I hate myself.
<v Speaker 2>So Josh, we're wrapping things up here and it is
<v Speaker 2>time to admit our wrongs.
<v Speaker 4>What do you got?
<v Speaker 3>I had zero clue that I am talking to a
<v Speaker 3>famous celebrity right in front of me. Nina, we talked
<v Speaker 3>earlier about how we were at the Bruno Mars concert
<v Speaker 3>on a Saturday night and you got a video of
<v Speaker 3>what are the.
<v Speaker 1>His, uh, the angel babies.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah. Right. So we fantastic video. It was funny for
<v Speaker 3>everybody there, but you caught the moment.
<v Speaker 1>I did.
<v Speaker 2>And I locked eyes with, uh, very well-endowed woman.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, thank you for saying it.
<v Speaker 4>You're welcome.
<v Speaker 3>And you put that video out there, and you're like, hey,
<v Speaker 3>this is a funny moment in the show.
<v Speaker 1>It was great. You're at like six million views on
<v Speaker 1>this thing right now.
<v Speaker 4>I think it's reaching six million today.
<v Speaker 1>And you are famous.
<v Speaker 3>People are reaching out to you. They want the full
<v Speaker 3>unedited version. They're like, we need to.
<v Speaker 1>Talk to Nina.
<v Speaker 3>We need to see more of Nina. We need to
<v Speaker 3>get this from her. And I'm like, I'm in the
<v Speaker 3>presence of a celebrity. Aww.
<v Speaker 1>No clue.
<v Speaker 2>I wouldn't go that far, but yes, I did go viral.
<v Speaker 2>You're like, but yes.
<v Speaker 4>But yeah. 5.8 million views currently.
<v Speaker 2>It's definitely going to make it to six by the
<v Speaker 2>end of the day because it's continuing. I have 275,000
<v Speaker 2>likes on this video.
<v Speaker 1>Bro.
<v Speaker 4>That's crazy. Those numbers are insane.
<v Speaker 3>Nina.
<v Speaker 4>My social media is, like, after this, though, like, this
<v Speaker 4>is my peak. And that's never going to be.
<v Speaker 1>It's all downhill from there. It is all downhill.
<v Speaker 3>I mean, Lena, I'm excited when I get 100 likes
<v Speaker 3>on a post. So 200 and plus thousand that you
<v Speaker 3>just said.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Ridiculous. Hats off to you. Good for you, girlfriend.
<v Speaker 4>Thank you. If you want to check out the video,
<v Speaker 4>you can follow me at the Nina Blanco.
<v Speaker 1>Absolutely.
<v Speaker 3>All right.
<v Speaker 1>What did you get wrong? Celebrity over there.
<v Speaker 2>I got wrong that my even though I am a celebrity,
<v Speaker 2>my plan to retire and sell my Beanie Babies, it's
<v Speaker 2>just not happening. So Beanie Babies are worthless. Most collections
<v Speaker 2>are worthless. And I was thinking about it. Modern day
<v Speaker 2>collections are like the surprise boxes. Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, my gosh.
<v Speaker 1>Yes. The squishies. Yes.
<v Speaker 4>Well, any squishy or any.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, my gosh.
<v Speaker 4>It's just I'm drawing a surprise in the boxes.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>But I think those are the collectibles right now. And
<v Speaker 2>people do collect because there's like, oh, there's five total
<v Speaker 2>and you never know which mystery box you're going to get.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, they have like the Fuglies, right? Like those types
<v Speaker 1>of things.
<v Speaker 4>All sorts of them.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, yeah.
<v Speaker 2>So those are the modern day Beanie Babies and they
<v Speaker 2>are going to be worth nothing later on.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, you just you got to go cry yourself to
<v Speaker 3>sleep in your pile of Beanie Babies right now because
<v Speaker 3>truly they will give you I mean, you can maybe
<v Speaker 3>go buy.
<v Speaker 1>A lunch after selling all of them.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, maybe.
<v Speaker 3>Which is so sad because they really had the they
<v Speaker 3>had booklets that would tell you how much they're worth.
<v Speaker 4>Beanie Babies had us all in a chokehold in the
<v Speaker 4>90s for sure.
<v Speaker 1>Good for them. I wonder how much they made off
<v Speaker 1>of us.
<v Speaker 4>Dude, for real.
<v Speaker 1>Right?
<v Speaker 4>They're all retired right now.
<v Speaker 1>They don't care. Way too much.
<v Speaker 4>They don't care.
<v Speaker 2>Angela Cortez is coming in next, and she has your
<v Speaker 2>next keyword to win those Ella Langley tickets. Listen for that.
<v Speaker 2>It happens at noon on Mix 100. We'll talk to
<v Speaker 2>you tomorrow.
<v Speaker 4>Bye.
<v Speaker 1>Goodbye.
