[SPEAKER_06]: It's the Michael Mery Show.

[SPEAKER_06]: And now, the best of all Mery.

[SPEAKER_06]: Here's Rob.

[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you, dude Walker and hello.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's me, your old buddy, Rob.

[SPEAKER_07]: I hope you survived Christmas.

[SPEAKER_07]: This is the best of the Michael Mery Show.

[SPEAKER_07]: And it is Boxing Day.

[SPEAKER_07]: So, today, only segments featuring Max Bayer's senior and Sugar Ray Leonard.

[SPEAKER_07]: I'm kidding, of course.

[SPEAKER_07]: No, today's the day after Christmas on the bot moss get together, episode number 31, 87.

[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you for taking the time to click and download and stream and whatnot.

[SPEAKER_07]: We've got a great, great best of for you today.

[SPEAKER_07]: Today is a, it's got a series of segments.

[SPEAKER_07]: that I love because I wasn't here when they first ran.

[SPEAKER_07]: So when we listen to these today, it's like the first time I heard them.

[SPEAKER_07]: We reference it a lot.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's when Oscar went up and hung out with the Bush family and Kenny Bunkport on Walker's Point in Maine, a great story and it's a lot of fun.

[SPEAKER_07]: Also, even though we just observed our

[SPEAKER_07]: Was it our 14th anniversary?

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, we look back on our 8th anniversary.

[SPEAKER_07]: But let's start with one of my favorite moments ever on the Michael Marishow because it happened out of the blue and very suddenly for years, I've been trying to get Wayne Newton.

[SPEAKER_07]: The King of Las Vegas to do the micro-marisho.

[SPEAKER_07]: I would send emails and contact his people and reach out constantly.

[SPEAKER_07]: And nothing ever came about until one morning, after we recorded the show, Wayne's people called and said, Wayne can do today.

[SPEAKER_07]: at like 3 p.m. your time.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's the only time he can do it.

[SPEAKER_07]: And I said, we'll make it happen.

[SPEAKER_07]: So I called Mike Mike went to his home studio.

[SPEAKER_07]: I was still in Washington, B.C.

[SPEAKER_07]: Oscar was doing his real job.

[SPEAKER_07]: So he couldn't even be part of this.

[SPEAKER_07]: So one afternoon, Mike and I sat down and talked to Wayne Newton.

[SPEAKER_07]: pretty damn cool.

[SPEAKER_07]: And you know what, a good interview, and I think you will appreciate it.

[SPEAKER_07]: So let's do a little Wayne Newton talk and right here on the best of the Michael Maris show.

[SPEAKER_09]: I have to be honest with you.

[SPEAKER_09]: I have seen this man twice.

[SPEAKER_09]: I have seen him in Las Vegas.

[SPEAKER_09]: I have seen him at the Birchmeer, along with my old radio partner, Don Geronimo and Rob Speedwack.

[SPEAKER_09]: Remember we got the suits and ties on and we went out to see Wayne at the Birchmeer.

[SPEAKER_09]: Do you remember that?

[SPEAKER_07]: We were the best dress crew in the crowd.

[SPEAKER_07]: I know that.

[SPEAKER_09]: Ladies and gentlemen, I am thrilled beyond words to, well, I funny words.

[SPEAKER_09]: I am thrilled to welcome the midnight idol Mr. Las Vegas, a legend, a true legend.

[SPEAKER_09]: And not many of those around anymore.

[SPEAKER_09]: I will tell you, Wayne Newton is on the Michael Maris Show.

[SPEAKER_08]: Wayne Newton, well, you guys.

[SPEAKER_08]: Hey, Wayne Newton.

[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, this is so we've been trying.

[SPEAKER_09]: Rob, how long have you tried to get Wayne Newton to come on the other micro marriage over three years now?

[SPEAKER_07]: I was so delighted to get the email last night that you had some time for us today.

[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you for making the time, sir.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I got to say I've been looking forward to it and I'm looking forward to the concerts.

[SPEAKER_01]: So guys are so real pleasure.

[SPEAKER_09]: You can get all the information on Wayne at WayneNewton.com.

[SPEAKER_09]: That's the official site of Mr. Las Vegas.

[SPEAKER_09]: Before we start with anything, I want to get it right out of the way.

[SPEAKER_09]: Wayne, before we get started, can you say anything about monkey gate?

[SPEAKER_09]: You don't live a oxidation and do it anymore.

[SPEAKER_09]: But oh my God, one of the monkeys bit a little girl.

[SPEAKER_09]: What's happened since you left?

[SPEAKER_09]: The monkeys are gone.

[SPEAKER_01]: Have gone insane.

[SPEAKER_01]: The truth of the matter is, I really don't know anything about it.

[SPEAKER_01]: I've never served or anything like that.

[SPEAKER_01]: And so I know less than you guys know, because I don't really read the internet a whole lot.

[SPEAKER_01]: Right.

[SPEAKER_01]: You don't worry about it, Wayne.

[SPEAKER_09]: I read a lot about it and it doesn't seem like it's going to be that big of a deal, but they're still associating you with the Accidation and it's Mr. Las Vegas still, Mr. Las Vegas after all these years.

[SPEAKER_09]: What is the key, Wayne, to doing what you do and continuing to do it such an amazing run?

[SPEAKER_09]: What keeps you going?

[SPEAKER_09]: What keeps you

[SPEAKER_01]: I got to tell you that when I was four years old, my parents took me to see a grandal upper road show in Rona, Virginia, and it was Hank Williams, Hawkshell Hawkins, and Kitty Wells.

[SPEAKER_01]: And we were so far back in the area that I really couldn't see the performers.

[SPEAKER_01]: I saw if I saw myself looking around at the audience around me, and I saw the happiness that those people brought them, and I looked at my mom and I said, that's what I want

[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what has been for me is to try and bring some avenues into people's life that might be a little stressed out about everything that's going on.

[SPEAKER_01]: So that's what's kept me going and is the look on the audience in space.

[SPEAKER_09]: You know, when I think of you Wayne Newton, and I don't know how many years ago Vegas vacation was a big hit, a big film hit, but you seem to write the book on not taking yourself too seriously, of understanding that the man, the image at the Mr. Las Vegas thing, how important was that, not taking yourself too seriously in your career?

[SPEAKER_09]: Because I think it opened a lot of doors for you, didn't it?

[SPEAKER_01]: Like Lucille Ball in French and Afro and Bobby Darren and Jack Benny and those names Well, I love hearing those names because I learned from them not not any less in situation, but just observing them and all of them have a great dignity about them and

[SPEAKER_01]: the reality of having some notoriety, the thing that goes with that most importantly is how you handle yourself in public.

[SPEAKER_01]: So I think I learned it from the masters and it's always just simply going to part of my DNA.

[SPEAKER_09]: I'm an impressionist.

[SPEAKER_09]: I feel like I should send you royalty checks.

[SPEAKER_09]: I've been doing it, you know, I'm a low level one.

[SPEAKER_09]: I'm not one of the biggies.

[SPEAKER_09]: So I mean, you know, I'm lucky to have this podcast to be honest with you, Wayne, but I've impersonated you for years.

[SPEAKER_09]: Did it ever did anyone impressionist or impression of you get under your skin?

[SPEAKER_09]: And is there anyone you enjoyed more than the others?

[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, you've been impersonated forever.

[SPEAKER_09]: Is there anything that stood out with that?

[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, you have to have you have to take it as fun, I guess, right?

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you have to, and you have to also realize that some of the people present company excluded, but some of the people did not handle themselves well in public.

[SPEAKER_01]: And we had a when an impersonator in Vegas some years ago, that was just rude to everybody.

[SPEAKER_01]: And it would come back to me that, uh,

[SPEAKER_01]: When it was at a barbershop in at the Riviera, he was rude to everybody.

[SPEAKER_01]: So I had to send the guy a note and I did because it wasn't only my persona that he was messing with.

[SPEAKER_01]: the importance of his own career.

[SPEAKER_09]: You know, I'm thinking I'm hearing you say this, and I asked you a question based on me doing an impression of Wayne, and then I realized you're so big, and we're so thrilled to have you on this show.

[SPEAKER_09]: You have, there are Wayne Newton impersonate.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yes, exactly.

[SPEAKER_09]: This impersonate.

[SPEAKER_09]: That's what he was talking about.

[SPEAKER_09]: Rob, I know you're, you're thrilled.

[SPEAKER_09]: You've been trying to get Wayne on the show for a long time.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's Rob's B-Wack Wayne.

[SPEAKER_07]: Wayne, there's such a pleasure to chat with you.

[SPEAKER_07]: You brought up some amazing names there.

[SPEAKER_07]: I can't imagine sharing a stage with Jackie Gleason or Lucille Ball, but when you say Bobby Darren, I must ask.

[SPEAKER_07]: I've heard that the song, Donkishane, which by the way, now it's 56th anniversary of being a song that everyone knows.

[SPEAKER_07]: Congratulations on one of the greatest hits of all time.

[SPEAKER_07]: Is it true Bobby Darren brought Donkishane to you?

[SPEAKER_01]: He did, what he did is he saw my first television show, National Television Show, which was Jackie Glyson.

[SPEAKER_02]: The Jackie Glyson Show!

[SPEAKER_01]: He saw that, and he checked around the sea, where I was working.

[SPEAKER_01]: We were at the Lounge at the Copacabana, just so we could stay in New York and do more Glyson shows.

[SPEAKER_01]: And so he came to my opening, which was the next night after the first Glyson Show.

[SPEAKER_01]: and he sat in the audience and I walked off and I looked back because it was a small room and I saw Bobby Darron sitting there.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I went into temporary paralysis.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't remember what I sang or said or anything like that.

[SPEAKER_01]: But when I finished the first set, I went to walk off stage and there was a waiter standing there and he said Mr. Darron wants to meet you.

[SPEAKER_01]: And

[SPEAKER_01]: And I said, I know, he said, well, I saw you on a jacking leash and show last night.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he said, I came here asking a question.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I said, yes, I don't go ahead.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he said, you're recording.

[SPEAKER_01]: I said, no, so I'm not.

[SPEAKER_01]: He said, well, you are now.

[SPEAKER_01]: You and I will be in the studio next week.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I will be producing your records from this point forward.

[SPEAKER_06]: Wow.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then someone had an ex-week, it was studio, the song he handed me was Donkishan.

[SPEAKER_01]: So while I was learning it with the pianist of the session, Bobby was working with the rest of the band to make sure that the arrangement was exactly the way he wanted it.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I found out about a year after Donkishan had been relieved and became a monster of a head.

[SPEAKER_01]: for Bobby Darren to record and follow his head of Macnamak with him.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, and it was your signature sauce, it makes all the sense of the whip.

[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you for all the joy and pain But you show second balcony Was the place with me, second seat Go that street, you are sweet

[SPEAKER_09]: Wayne, you're so nice to join us, and we want to make sure that we get our plugs in.

[SPEAKER_09]: Your show, the ongoing engagement up close and personal, is that that's a different kind of show than your normal show that you do in the bigger theaters?

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, actually our normal show is a small part of the up close and personal show.

[SPEAKER_09]: OK.

[SPEAKER_01]: but because we use it just one or two clips from the past, they say, I think the biggest difference is that when we're doing up close and personal, we use a lot of the tracks and three musicians.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's Monday's Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

[SPEAKER_09]: We've only got you for five minutes more.

[SPEAKER_09]: I want to get these in.

[SPEAKER_09]: Let me say, I got so many questions.

[SPEAKER_08]: I'm not reading the way.

[SPEAKER_08]: No, I don't want to miss this opportunity here.

[SPEAKER_09]: He told you to present yourself well.

[SPEAKER_09]: Relax briefly, the biggest single change in Vegas that you've seen over the years.

[SPEAKER_09]: If there's a sentence, you could give us on that.

[SPEAKER_09]: What's the biggest change in your sense of the old days?

[SPEAKER_01]: I think that it would be the lack of personal attention

[SPEAKER_01]: When it became corporate owned, as opposed to individually owned or that kind of thing, then of course the corporations have a totally different idea of what was they as an old bound.

[SPEAKER_01]: And so the biggest difference I have seen is that, you know, everything must show our profit and everything must do this and everything must do that.

[SPEAKER_01]: that moved away from what made us think it's great in my opinion.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, the stars.

[SPEAKER_09]: Do you look back on your career reflect on anything that you would do differently?

[SPEAKER_09]: Any regrets at all?

[SPEAKER_09]: Something that if I hadn't done that, you know, you've had a great career, professionally.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's been wonderful.

[SPEAKER_09]: Anything you look back on with any regret whatsoever?

[SPEAKER_01]: No, it was interesting because I think in retrospect, as I reflect on it, the things that I thought were going to ruin my life and career that happened and my life so far turned on to be blessings when I'm look back on them now.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like when I got in a big fight with the head of Harris Club in Lake Tahoe, and ask him,

[SPEAKER_01]: some of them don't have opening act so could I be there opening act and just paying me the same thing you're paying me to work the launch and he became furious and he said you will never work our man room and call me a lot of names and he founded the table got up and walked off and so that's what I decided never to play another launch and so call my manager and I said

[SPEAKER_01]: Tom, you're going to have to find this work somewhere, but it won't be an allowance because I won't do it anymore.

[SPEAKER_09]: We're down for you though, I think.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we wish this one I met Jack Benny, and he asked me to be his opening act.

[SPEAKER_01]: And the irony of that was,

[SPEAKER_01]: that the opening show that we were doing together was a terrorist in Tahoe.

[SPEAKER_09]: Ha ha ha.

[SPEAKER_09]: So businessmen.

[SPEAKER_09]: Wayne wins from Hollywood.

[SPEAKER_09]: The Jack Benny from Brown.

[SPEAKER_09]: But Jack's guess Wayne Newton and Louis Knott.

[SPEAKER_03]: You know, Mr. Venny working with you was an experienced that I'll never forget.

[SPEAKER_03]: Whatever I was not staged myself, I'd always stand on the wings and I'd watch you.

[SPEAKER_03]: The way you move your hands and the way you walk.

[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of people have worked with me and stole my mannerism, you see, but you didn't.

[SPEAKER_03]: With my voice, I wouldn't dare.

[SPEAKER_09]: Last question, Wayne, you've been interviewed thousands of times, has there ever been anything written about you in an article or review where you said, yep, that's me, that's what I'm going for, or is there something, you know, I mean, when someone gets a, at this stage of the career, I like to know, what do you want to be known for?

[SPEAKER_09]: What do you really want to be known for?

[SPEAKER_01]: I, I think for me, what I want to be known for is that I never let my personal attitudes about,

[SPEAKER_09]: religion or a politics yet into my show because I feel like the people do not deserve that's wonderful and you know we've been back stage with you at the birch mirror I'm gonna say this about Wayne Newton two things I've seen the show you walk out of a Wayne Newton show no matter what your preconceptions are saying That is an amazingly tight Wonderful

[SPEAKER_09]: who you are you're going to feel that way the other thing is our personal experience and it nothing changed with this interview you're an extremely nice guy and uh... and really we appreciate it meeting you it's great having you on the show uh... good luck with everything out there in Las Vegas stay away from those monkeys way yeah right stay away from those hey now you got to do me one quick saver

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, just promise me that you'll invite me back again when those time limits.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I'd love to have you know, Wayne, Wayne, seriously, we could do the 90 minute podcast just with you and I will take you up on that, my friend.

[SPEAKER_09]: Thank you very much Wayne Newton.

[SPEAKER_01]: It was pleasure.

[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Wayne.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's great.

[SPEAKER_09]: take it to info at Wayne Newton.com and I didn't get to ask him about Johnny Carson.

[SPEAKER_09]: I know you're going to tell me about that next time.

[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_09]: Next time we'll get it and also we ran a three question you asked Rob because you you have your nerd Nick question but fascinate me too.

[SPEAKER_09]: I had no idea that whole thing.

[SPEAKER_09]: He loved talking about he doesn't get that for anybody.

[SPEAKER_09]: I got awesome.

[SPEAKER_07]: I got a little bit of chill going on right now.

[SPEAKER_07]: That was pretty cool to talk to him.

[SPEAKER_07]: And the one thing we wanted to ask him is, since he really only works Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at Caesars, we could have him open for us at the 10th anniversary.

[SPEAKER_07]: So.

[SPEAKER_09]: Hey, hold on.

[SPEAKER_07]: I'll be in touch.

[SPEAKER_09]: Don't think I won't touch just he I'm talking 30 seconds.

[SPEAKER_09]: That's all just to come out ladies and gentlemen.

[SPEAKER_09]: I would uh, no, he's not going to do it.

[SPEAKER_09]: We can't Pan that's that's the way it goes, but that's way Newton.

[SPEAKER_09]: I hope you enjoyed that ladies and gentlemen.

[SPEAKER_09]: Happy weekend everybody.

[SPEAKER_08]: We had way Newton.

[SPEAKER_09]: We'll be right back with more fun and thrills on the micro marriage.

[SPEAKER_07]: And welcome back to Bot Moss, the best of the Michael Maris Show on this boxing day.

[SPEAKER_07]: I reference this at the front of the show, so let's get started.

[SPEAKER_07]: We are blessed in our business when I speak of us.

[SPEAKER_07]: I mean Oscar and Mike and me and everyone in broadcasting, we get to do a lot of times things that

[SPEAKER_07]: are so cool that would not be afforded someone in another line of work.

[SPEAKER_07]: Well Oscar, as you know, in addition to being co-host of the Michael Marisho, runs Podville Media, and because of that, he has his fingers in a lot of jam pots, as my grandmother would say.

[SPEAKER_07]: He's involved in a lot of shows, and one of the greatest associations we have at Podville Media is with the George Herbert Walker Bush Foundation.

[SPEAKER_07]: and they had several podcasts, they still have several podcasts associated with five-ville media, and Oscar had to go to Kenny Bunkport main where the entire Bush family's summers to help set up for a podcast, and it's just a fascinating look on what it's like.

[SPEAKER_07]: to go and hang out among one of the American political dynasties.

[SPEAKER_07]: And I can say from personal experience really great people.

[SPEAKER_07]: They are the nicest family.

[SPEAKER_07]: And this is Oscar and the bushes.

[SPEAKER_07]: not like, you know, landscaping, Oscar and the Bush family on the vests of the Michael Mary show.

[SPEAKER_09]: Oscar Santana was on a vacation, but there is an element of this vacation that even I do not know about because you have been working with some pretty rarefied air when it comes to podcast village just for the purpose of background.

[SPEAKER_09]: We talk about podcast village all the time, but I never give you a chance to really explain outside of taping this show what goes on there.

[SPEAKER_09]: There are people from everywhere that come to Washington DC and do this out of our studios, our facilities and Washington.

[SPEAKER_05]: We are, I would say, blessed to be in position that collectively, you know, spawning out of the micro-marish show and connecting with Charlie Burning through the Smith School of Business, when I went back to business school and launching podcast village, that we have some pretty high profile clients.

[SPEAKER_05]: You know, by design when we first started as we're coming up on our two year anniversary Mike which would probably be, you know, at the end of this year we don't always talk about all of our clients, some people we have to ask permission if we're going to discuss them here on the show and it's really out of respect to the client relationship that we have.

[SPEAKER_05]: Now, I've been clear to discuss certain aspects of the show because it's part of my trip because it's part of our life and that's what we do here on the program.

[SPEAKER_05]: This is exciting.

[SPEAKER_05]: We are working.

[SPEAKER_05]: We are blessed and we are happy.

[SPEAKER_05]: We're excited to work on the George Herbert Walker Bush Presidential Library podcast, 41.

[SPEAKER_05]: It's through the George and Barbara Bush Foundation and one of the elements of this broadcast is to set up remote broadcast points around the country.

[SPEAKER_05]: One of them happened to be coincided with my trip this past weekend to the Northeast, where I was, I think, it's an honor, that's the way I look at it, to be able to actually visit and work at the compound, which is known as Walker's Point or Kenny Bunkport.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, you have been just to for people that might not be keeping track, you have been down to a library in Texas for 41, the father of W43, and this trip, you had told me, and I was kind of jealous to be honest with you, you were going to be going up to Kenny Bunkport.

[SPEAKER_09]: And I just thought, you know, everybody remembers the pictures of a summer house.

[SPEAKER_09]: the summer White House up there and the boat and everything and when you told me that that fact that you had been up there, I was very excited for you, but what I didn't expect was some of the stuff that you got a chance to do.

[SPEAKER_09]: Just to be around this, it's a different world, isn't it?

[SPEAKER_05]: It's a different world.

[SPEAKER_05]: It's also one of these moments, Mike, and I'm sure you've had him in radio where you try to remember you're like just just try to enjoy this moment.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_05]: Just enjoy this moment, um, the, uh, it's, it's about rarefied air.

[SPEAKER_05]: It's about an honor.

[SPEAKER_05]: It's about making sure you, you, you do the job.

[SPEAKER_05]: You say you're going to do.

[SPEAKER_05]: And in this piece of, uh, I guess a quick anecdote, I get, we arrive to Boston.

[SPEAKER_05]: My wife and I drive up on Friday.

[SPEAKER_05]: Say how to our family arrive around 10 p.m. 11 p.m. Have to go to bed early.

[SPEAKER_05]: Wake up the night.

[SPEAKER_05]: You're talking about arriving 10 p.m. 11 p.m. in Boston.

[SPEAKER_05]: See my family.

[SPEAKER_05]: My brother's 50th birthday party is Saturday night.

[SPEAKER_05]: My brother-in-law, I'm sorry.

[SPEAKER_05]: He's turning 50 to a big deal to him, it should be.

[SPEAKER_05]: And it's Mike, it's much like, you want your 60th to, you want to celebration, you want a big presence, you want something special, he wants things for his birthday.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, what if like, and I, my gift is my daughter's, my, my both thoughts surprise me.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but something material, something, you want, like, an HTTB, yeah.

[SPEAKER_05]: You still haven't got him going down to get 50th birthday.

[SPEAKER_09]: You go for him.

[SPEAKER_09]: No car, but I'm doing it, I'm doing it this way.

[SPEAKER_05]: We didn't, we didn't want.

[SPEAKER_05]: We didn't want to disappoint Mike.

[SPEAKER_05]: I remembered I said my brother's in town in Boston, from Los Angeles with our entire family.

[SPEAKER_05]: And my nephew's baptism is Sunday.

[SPEAKER_05]: So Saturday I got a party for his 50th birthday in Boston at a restaurant, and Sunday I have a baptism early morning.

[SPEAKER_05]: What is my window of time to go to Walker's point?

[SPEAKER_05]: It's Saturday morning of last week.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, you are, give or take two hours away.

[SPEAKER_05]: And go, 130, 140, it says on ways, you know, ways always lies to you.

[SPEAKER_05]: So I say, I don't want to pull a Michael Marisho and be late.

[SPEAKER_05]: So now not somebody you really care about.

[SPEAKER_05]: Not this time, not this time.

[SPEAKER_09]: George H. W. Bush for God say.

[SPEAKER_05]: And his family, um, I get a hot text in the morning at 6 30 in the morning from a family member that says, are you, was my, my, my,

[SPEAKER_05]: and this can you move it to 11 am and we would we have room for two we would like to take you and your wife out on the boat and we would like you to come to lunch with us after we do the work.

[SPEAKER_05]: So that and itself was unexpected.

[SPEAKER_05]: So what did you expect the total time frame would be up there when you got a couple of hours to look install set it all up test it with the with the team and move on and I'm with solo I meant my team my wife and I right now there is a

[SPEAKER_05]: paradigm here where the Latin family steps in and at the entire time I said hey gone for a max a three hour trip four hours tops I'll be back for this dinner it's in the back for yeah it's a night I'm fine with that night right all right but it's also this like uh... packed mentality when the sand tan is get together slash the body of the set slash the most whatever that we got the priority yes

[SPEAKER_05]: That's the, so I feel like paying, it doesn't matter if I'm working, I'm still the youngest.

[SPEAKER_09]: And I'm working at a president's house.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm making it all about me, the youngest, making it all about him after a 50th birthday party's happening.

[SPEAKER_05]: That's right.

[SPEAKER_05]: That's right.

[SPEAKER_05]: Godfather.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I say to my sister, I was like, hey, I got this hot text.

[SPEAKER_05]: This is seven a.m now because I'm up, right?

[SPEAKER_05]: You're up.

[SPEAKER_05]: Everybody's up.

[SPEAKER_05]: Everybody's responsible.

[SPEAKER_09]: They're going to like you.

[SPEAKER_09]: If you're being asked to go out on the boat, they got to dig you.

[SPEAKER_05]: I think I'm pretty affable, my God, I'm gonna take you.

[SPEAKER_05]: They gotta dig you!

[SPEAKER_05]: It's super, it's kind of surreal.

[SPEAKER_05]: It's what it is, best way I can put it.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I say, hey, Tatiana, I don't wanna, I just give you heads up.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm gonna have to meet you probably at the restaurant because I don't know how long this is gonna take and I don't wanna say no.

[SPEAKER_05]: But I know you guys are prepping for this party.

[SPEAKER_05]: I just talked to Shannon Shannon because she's a good wife and knows my family.

[SPEAKER_05]: She says, look, why don't you go alone?

[SPEAKER_05]: I will stay and help with the party planning because I said I would beforehand.

[SPEAKER_05]: I wasn't invited.

[SPEAKER_05]: I didn't know I was going to go to the first time around.

[SPEAKER_05]: She is a trooper, right?

[SPEAKER_05]: We're doing that.

[SPEAKER_05]: She was in private.

[SPEAKER_05]: She was specifically invited.

[SPEAKER_05]: Shannon's cool.

[SPEAKER_05]: We have room for two.

[SPEAKER_05]: We love to have to host Shannon and you on the bro to come on out.

[SPEAKER_05]: Very cool.

[SPEAKER_05]: So my wife steps up and I said, all right, well, I promise.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'll make this as respectful to the family, both families.

[SPEAKER_05]: got a family here, got a family there, right, a podcast village family, got responsibilities, got a family for the same, the same tannis.

[SPEAKER_09]: I'm reasonably, I did hate tannis.

[SPEAKER_09]: I just have to say one thing, you can't hear it over my microphone here.

[SPEAKER_09]: I'm reasonably sure that the building next door might have just collapsed.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's just a bit of a rarer.

[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know, I don't know what they're doing over there.

[SPEAKER_09]: But unless there's some Sam and Dreas fault thing up over here.

[SPEAKER_09]: All right, go ahead.

[SPEAKER_09]: So your website decides to hang back with your family and you're off to Kenny Bunkport.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm off to Kenny Bunkport.

[SPEAKER_05]: Very cool.

[SPEAKER_05]: Which is...

[SPEAKER_05]: And I've never been to that part of Maine.

[SPEAKER_05]: I've been to Bar Harbor, which I think is glorious and beautiful, and I thought it couldn't get any better.

[SPEAKER_05]: Have you ever been to Kenny Bunkport, Mike?

[SPEAKER_09]: Just the I've driven through Kenny Bunkport.

[SPEAKER_09]: I find it too crowded in the middle of the summer.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's very, now where you go is not crowded because it's special.

[SPEAKER_09]: But like the town of Kenny Bunk and all that, it gets pretty crazy.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's very popular.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's closer to Boston.

[SPEAKER_09]: I've never seen it in magazines.

[SPEAKER_09]: Not to insult anybody you work with.

[SPEAKER_09]: But I'm going to tell you what we refer to that area of Maine as a suburb of Boston.

[SPEAKER_09]: I'm sorry, but that's what we could see that's close.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's close.

[SPEAKER_09]: You know that I'm two hours.

[SPEAKER_09]: I almost three hours further north where I live up in that main.

[SPEAKER_09]: So, but I get it.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's still Maine.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's still the coast of Maine.

[SPEAKER_09]: I've never seen one.

[SPEAKER_05]: When we drove up to Banger, we didn't traffic any Bungport.

[SPEAKER_05]: No, okay.

[SPEAKER_09]: Now you flew to Bangor.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_09]: And then got off a plane, bought some fireworks and came straight.

[SPEAKER_09]: And then through that's how I describe what I would and I would describe that is not a very pretty part of the state.

[SPEAKER_09]: And then when you get down to the coastline, you know, you're it's very it's very beautiful homes.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, gorgeous part rare fine air as we said before third time we've said it now.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's it's special.

[SPEAKER_09]: And it's, you know, it's just a little hopskip and a jump from Boston, which makes it.

[SPEAKER_05]: cool too.

[SPEAKER_05]: So I'm racing to a job and I, well, you can't necessarily enjoy.

[SPEAKER_05]: You want to make sure you, you borrow the equipment, everything set.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm packed in the Volvo.

[SPEAKER_05]: When you turn on to that coldstool road, yeah.

[SPEAKER_05]: That's when you're like, whoa.

[SPEAKER_05]: this is something out of central casting what movies have been filmed here the only that type of uh i guess beauty uh natural beauty i've seen a decayed in national park i've seen uh out west when you're in malibu of course people are like oh of course malibu is beautiful no it's beautiful beautiful of course just never seen anything like that yeah very very special part of the world absolutely

[SPEAKER_05]: Um, and you drive up to Walker's point and there is a gate with secret service and I am in the Volvo and I will not go through the security protocol as uh, as in respect to the family.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_05]: Um, get through that.

[SPEAKER_05]: And then you park and once you're in you're like,

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh my god, I'm here.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's, it's, it's surreal.

[SPEAKER_05]: The grass is like something out of Disney world.

[SPEAKER_05]: Everything is perfect.

[SPEAKER_09]: And world leaders are, there are icons of show business.

[SPEAKER_09]: Just hundreds of players have walked those grounds, including presidents of the United States and a president who lives there.

[SPEAKER_09]: in the summer White House, George H.W.

[SPEAKER_09]: Bush, and George W. Bush, and Jeb Bush, and Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama, and people that have been up there.

[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, it's pretty, it's pretty special stuff.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's really, really good.

[SPEAKER_05]: And you want to be a professional.

[SPEAKER_05]: So I'm not taking pictures.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not doing any of that.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm being as professional as possible.

[SPEAKER_09]: I, um, it's big to you, why not just like with your serious look at your face, but never never getting over the fact you know where you are.

[SPEAKER_09]: You get, you appreciate.

[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, I mean, I mean, I knew you look more than anybody else on our crew.

[SPEAKER_09]: So I get it.

[SPEAKER_09]: I understand.

[SPEAKER_05]: I love me.

[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I parked the car.

[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I didn't want to be presumptuous.

[SPEAKER_05]: I didn't drive to that the home I would be working in.

[SPEAKER_05]: Um, there is a road that takes you there, but I parked where I would imagine the service,

[SPEAKER_05]: Um, and I get out of the cart, and I hear a name being called as I'm unpacking the gear.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oscar Oscar, I'm being called as a different name, and I won't share the name.

[SPEAKER_05]: And then I look up and it goes, oh, man, well, this is how great this family is.

[SPEAKER_05]: It's Neil Bush.

[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, and he said and he says ask him on TV.

[SPEAKER_05]: He says Oscar you're coming on the boat today I'm sorry.

[SPEAKER_05]: I thought you were somebody like it was there wasn't even another Latin name It was just another name of of somebody else that was there I'm really wasn't even a Latin name I'm kidding.

[SPEAKER_05]: The idea that he recognized me from college station where we initially met months ago Right and then said we'll see you on the boat in about 15 minutes Was like how does somebody have that

[SPEAKER_09]: What like one on one the political just if I can unless the political game and I have family members that have been in that game and I've fact I brought this up about names and read one of the things that a lot of these guys you'll find congressman senators and people that work for them have this amazing ability it that's part of the deal.

[SPEAKER_09]: uh... the best way of describing it would be uh... in the movie devil wears prata when Miranda priestly is going to the gala and she actually has two books that her people have to study so she will be able to address everybody by names most people have that natural ability to remember special if you're doing something that's important to them they they retain that and uh... it's kind of cool that that's why there a lot of them are good at it even family members of uh... of hw yeah it was very impressive and i said yeah i'm thank you for the invite

[SPEAKER_05]: I know that there's a kind of delay for this installation will work that out.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm just looking for a so-and-so's home.

[SPEAKER_09]: You were installing installation in their house?

[SPEAKER_09]: I would have thought they would have.

[SPEAKER_05]: No, no, no.

[SPEAKER_05]: I know there's a day for the delay for the installation.

[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, installation.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yes, yes.

[SPEAKER_09]: No, no.

[SPEAKER_09]: All right, let's take a look.

[SPEAKER_09]: Let's take a look.

[SPEAKER_07]: Hey folks, we're back with the best of the Michael Marisho.

[SPEAKER_07]: When we last spoke on our last episode, now actually when we last spoke, we were talking about Oscar in Maine, helping out the Bush family get ready and set up for a podcast.

[SPEAKER_07]: So let's continue that story.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's Oscar on Walker's Point.

[SPEAKER_09]: right here on the best of the micro marriage show so this is exciting you get on the the the campus of walker point where uh... you know basically named after George Herbert Walker uh... you know it's a very cool and you're there and they mentioned to you that you're going to go out on uh... uh... is it the boat by the way is it the boat that we saw on TV the people 41's boat it's the finale yes oh my

[SPEAKER_09]: God.

[SPEAKER_09]: Now, we've started.

[SPEAKER_09]: That must be for that family.

[SPEAKER_05]: I feel I feel for them a little bit.

[SPEAKER_05]: That's well, I mean, and really, if you think about it, this is still fresh.

[SPEAKER_05]: We're talking about just a few months.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_09]: And the funeral and just what an incredible moment it was, especially in the times we live in right now.

[SPEAKER_09]: And I remember we all watched who didn't watch that.

[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, an amazing legacy, really.

[SPEAKER_05]: So for me, it's more about respecting, I think everybody's been in the position for you just to want to mess anything up.

[SPEAKER_05]: You just want to get in clean and get out clean and make sure that you do the job you're there for.

[SPEAKER_05]: So I meet my contact and we start discussing, hey, do you want to set this up right now or do you want to take some time and then come back later?

[SPEAKER_05]: Like I'm at your disposal.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not going to mention, hey, I got to get back for this 50th anniversary party or 50th birthday.

[SPEAKER_05]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no

[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know how this works right?

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_09]: Did you think big?

[SPEAKER_09]: Do you think it might be something like this?

[SPEAKER_09]: Didn't you I want to me because I've watched this being a Manor part of the year.

[SPEAKER_09]: I have watched this for years.

[SPEAKER_09]: I've watched him out on that speedboat that is very cool because first of all that's not the typical boat you see around those waters

[SPEAKER_09]: No, that's what I like, that's what I liked about him that he kind of danced to his own drummer.

[SPEAKER_09]: He liked speed.

[SPEAKER_09]: He was an air, you know, he was an airman.

[SPEAKER_09]: He actually knew, you know, he loved speed.

[SPEAKER_09]: And that was his way to get out on the boat and do that.

[SPEAKER_09]: So when I've seen that, I always thought, man, what a cool thing.

[SPEAKER_05]: It would be to be on that in his dock that you can find on HBO.

[SPEAKER_05]: It's 41.

[SPEAKER_05]: He talks about the boat.

[SPEAKER_05]: And how, and his later years, when maybe his body is health was failing him, the way that he could really get out there and do what he wanted was on that boat.

[SPEAKER_05]: It would let him maneuver the way he wanted through life on that boat, which is beautiful.

[SPEAKER_09]: A short side bar, and I wasn't there, shocker, you know.

[SPEAKER_09]: making my way wasn't up there when my cousins took my dad out for his last time on the water.

[SPEAKER_09]: And he was on oxygen and it would be his last summer up there up in Maine and they put him on the boat.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's where he was truly happy.

[SPEAKER_09]: There's something about being on that water that is so special to so many people.

[SPEAKER_09]: And you know, he came back in and his legs were gone.

[SPEAKER_09]: And so it was really hard for him to walk because the medication that helped him breathe my dad helped him, you know, it took away the muscle tone from his legs.

[SPEAKER_09]: So one of my cousin's girlfriends was on the dock and helped him out of the water helped him out of the boat.

[SPEAKER_09]: And then later that night they had him in tears because they were talking about who was uncle Bill making out with on the dock because they saw this young girl, this young hot chick with her arms around.

[SPEAKER_09]: and it was one of those great great moments they gave him.

[SPEAKER_09]: I'll always love my cousins for doing that for him.

[SPEAKER_09]: But being on the water, that's the special part and to be on that.

[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, I can't tell you how excited I was when I heard you were doing it.

[SPEAKER_05]: So for context, when someone says we have room for two on a boat.

[SPEAKER_05]: You're like, oh, this is a small boat.

[SPEAKER_05]: Large boat, I don't know.

[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know how you do head counts on the boat.

[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know enough about it.

[SPEAKER_05]: I know that you probably say, okay, we have four or five people were safe with six.

[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm thinking again.

[SPEAKER_05]: It's not a lot on the boat, yeah.

[SPEAKER_05]: So I don't know.

[SPEAKER_05]: Not even close.

[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_09]: I think what, 10 people maybe, 10, 10, 11 people top, maybe less, 12, 12, 12, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's a lot of people on a boat.

[SPEAKER_05]: So that's very cool.

[SPEAKER_05]: I arrived to the home.

[SPEAKER_05]: They say, oh, you should have just driven up.

[SPEAKER_05]: And mind you, there's a lot of security.

[SPEAKER_05]: So I was fine where I parked.

[SPEAKER_05]: It was good.

[SPEAKER_05]: I walked up and walking up that,

[SPEAKER_05]: I would say that road with the Atlantic Ocean to the left of you is gorgeous.

[SPEAKER_05]: You just look around, you're like, don't look around too much.

[SPEAKER_05]: Never been there.

[SPEAKER_05]: I can't believe this is what I'm here and we're doing this is great.

[SPEAKER_05]: Get to the house.

[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, this is perfect.

[SPEAKER_05]: They say, let's get you a jacket because they make it cold on the water.

[SPEAKER_05]: They get me a jacket.

[SPEAKER_05]: It's a presidential library jacket.

[SPEAKER_05]: This is great and then we I have it in my hand.

[SPEAKER_05]: We walked down.

[SPEAKER_05]: You keep it.

[SPEAKER_05]: No, no, no, no, didn't ask to keep it.

[SPEAKER_09]: Didn't ask to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to keep it to

[SPEAKER_09]: They get it all together though.

[SPEAKER_09]: They want to jack you get a special jaguar.

[SPEAKER_09]: You're only library jack.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's very cool.

[SPEAKER_09]: So I'm curiously through your reader.

[SPEAKER_05]: Beautiful cottage or bungalow as they call them on cottages depending on who you talk to.

[SPEAKER_05]: And it's I think it's also wonderful.

[SPEAKER_05]: And remind you of your family, Mike and Maine, where everybody has their own little home and there's a main home.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_05]: Um, and uh,

[SPEAKER_05]: I knew that there was multiple cottages on the property.

[SPEAKER_05]: I just didn't know how many and how beautiful it was going to be.

[SPEAKER_09]: So, very similar minus the money in togetherness.

[SPEAKER_09]: Separate those two things and you'd be all set.

[SPEAKER_05]: The radius of space though is probably correct, where it's close.

[SPEAKER_09]: Very, very close, yeah, you know, it's special.

[SPEAKER_05]: There we go, we walk down to the dock, which is a private dock, and there is this beautiful speedboat.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I don't know enough about boats, but I recognize the boat from the documentary, and I said, wow.

[SPEAKER_05]: this is this is an honor another honor and the family is amassing there we've got every brother and sister and some some some net i would say nephews and cousins that are going cross because we're anybody immediately jumped to your you know oh my god i know that person is that recognized all of them all right it was it was it was it was truly just okay uh don't fall off this dock don't fall off this dock

[SPEAKER_05]: uh... the boat pulls up uh... one of the family members uh... and you know he throws me the rope like hey you're on the side of the dock catch this rope for the boat i of course miss thrope

[SPEAKER_05]: because I was not expecting that.

[SPEAKER_05]: I did see your white eyes.

[SPEAKER_05]: I was expecting that.

[SPEAKER_05]: I was like, oh, you threw me the rope and these butterfingers left the slide right through into the water, but let me pick that up and pretend like that didn't just stop.

[SPEAKER_09]: Hey, it happens all the time.

[SPEAKER_09]: Robes get wet, no problem, you're cool.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, so I play that off as best I could.

[SPEAKER_05]: I know inside I was dying.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I start, you're like, tie it up.

[SPEAKER_05]: And luckily, Mr. Michael Marra taught me how to tie up a boat when I was in pain.

[SPEAKER_09]: Do you have a cleat there?

[SPEAKER_09]: Is there a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a cleat or a

[SPEAKER_08]: That's just position.

[SPEAKER_05]: I took the whole position.

[SPEAKER_05]: No, I was at the bokehman.

[SPEAKER_05]: I was at the, I was at the, I was at the back of the dock where we're happening.

[SPEAKER_05]: The stern.

[SPEAKER_05]: The stern.

[SPEAKER_05]: What happened to be mice that there were two tieups for the boat.

[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, so that as I start tying up the younger gentleman who's about to go to a college who threw me the rope says You got the piloting the boat was he at the helm was he at the was he was he was he was at the controls yes Just him on the boat was he just no, it was him and in another family member and okay, he goes you got that and I'm like

[SPEAKER_09]: I got I don't know why this detail so important me, but it's just I'm picturing the the whole thing.

[SPEAKER_05]: I started putting it all together.

[SPEAKER_09]: Are they younger?

[SPEAKER_05]: These are these younger people in the family or no, these are siblings, siblings to Neil Bush, it's it's Tito, no, it's Tito, but no, no, no, it's Neil Marvin Doreau, like it is.

[SPEAKER_08]: It's a whole fam.

[SPEAKER_05]: And you're part of it, and you're boy, and I, uh, Jeb's younger son, uh, and so it's, it's, like, it's, we're there, right?

[SPEAKER_09]: Very, very, very cool.

[SPEAKER_05]: I start tying up and he goes, you got, so the questioning my tying of,

[SPEAKER_05]: You know, it's up down like a little bit, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no

[SPEAKER_05]: get on the boat I think one of the family member one of the family saying hey do you want to come back here because it's it's going to be a pretty bumpy ride I was like how it actually says how is your back because if you if you you're good with it like it's a little bit out there yeah yeah it's blowing a little bit but also

[SPEAKER_05]: I wasn't aware where we were going and the rate of speed we were going to go at.

[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, you're going to have to eat.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, going to another town.

[SPEAKER_08]: It's what we do up there.

[SPEAKER_08]: It's fun.

[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, what?

[SPEAKER_08]: Yes, I call Uber eats.

[SPEAKER_08]: This is not a life I know.

[SPEAKER_05]: It's fun.

[SPEAKER_05]: The honest feeling about one of the most powerful families in the world.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, barely tie up a boat.

[SPEAKER_05]: Um, so.

[SPEAKER_05]: I wanted to feel the power of the bow.

[SPEAKER_05]: I said, thank you.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'll be right here.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'll hold on if it gets too, too far.

[SPEAKER_09]: Where are you standing?

[SPEAKER_09]: Are you in the middle?

[SPEAKER_09]: Are you up by the helm?

[SPEAKER_09]: Where the controls are?

[SPEAKER_09]: Are you in the bow?

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm already in the, is the bow the front of the bow?

[SPEAKER_05]: The bow is the front.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm, I'm halfway from the bow to the stern, but sitting on a bench on the front of the bow.

[SPEAKER_09]: I get it.

[SPEAKER_09]: All right.

[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know where you are.

[SPEAKER_05]: So if you're a voter or whatever you are, well, yada, I don't know what you call it.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you're about it.

[SPEAKER_05]: If you want to be up in the front and get the feeling, I want to feel the wind and I want to feel the bumps of the sea.

[SPEAKER_08]: I remember doing this as a younger kid, not on a boat like this clearly on a Zodiac.

[SPEAKER_08]: It was fun.

[SPEAKER_05]: Right.

[SPEAKER_05]: So I, uh, he says, okay, you just, you're welcome.

[SPEAKER_05]: If it gets too bumpy to come on back.

[SPEAKER_05]: Now, in the front are two, like nieces and nephews or grandchildren with their mom, so they're sitting there as well, because it's fun to bump up and down and, you know, the rest of the family, smart, and they sit in the back, and are they sitting in the back, because that's going to be the smoothest ride.

[SPEAKER_05]: The boat takes off.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm saying, like, because they have open waters and you've got a captain who knows what he's doing, he, like, floors it.

[SPEAKER_05]: And they, we are skimming across the Atlantic going to another point in Maine, which I thought was one of the most glorious moments in my life.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_05]: There you go.

[SPEAKER_05]: So real.

[SPEAKER_08]: Of all, I would give anything to trade phases.

[SPEAKER_08]: So surreal.

[SPEAKER_09]: Tacular.

[SPEAKER_09]: Absolutely spectacular.

[SPEAKER_08]: You like you like lobster lobster rolls lobster rolls good No, I hate them are their poisons to me.

[SPEAKER_08]: I'm allergic.

[SPEAKER_09]: Oh I'm a pescatarian anything from the sea Whatever you want I'll do what do you figure he's doing 40 knots 15 knots something like that I think 15 knots easy.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_05]: He's flying I he was flying and he was commanding that boat like you know what someone's doing they've done this before

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, no, exactly what they're doing.

[SPEAKER_09]: That's the thing in the world.

[SPEAKER_05]: It's a great, great, fantastic.

[SPEAKER_05]: We arrive at this curve, which looks that I didn't even know existed.

[SPEAKER_05]: I don't even know the town.

[SPEAKER_05]: If I had the name, that'd be fantastic.

[SPEAKER_05]: But it is this little opening.

[SPEAKER_05]: But when you're driving towards it,

[SPEAKER_05]: It's like, I'm going to sound like a rub.

[SPEAKER_05]: You think we're going to go into the ground.

[SPEAKER_05]: You're going to go into his rocks.

[SPEAKER_05]: You're going to his rocks.

[SPEAKER_05]: And then, no, no, no, no, no, not at all.

[SPEAKER_05]: They know what they're doing.

[SPEAKER_05]: Sure.

[SPEAKER_09]: And you've done it a million times.

[SPEAKER_05]: You pull into this curve and I've seen footage online from this little town.

[SPEAKER_05]: It's a picturesque.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sure it's famous in it.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm just not giving you the name because I'm a rub.

[SPEAKER_05]: And we pull in and you can tell by the way that people recognize.

[SPEAKER_05]: This boat Oh, of course.

[SPEAKER_08]: The film of course.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, no, and the Jew.

[SPEAKER_08]: And me, you're on the boat because you're so cool.

[SPEAKER_08]: Is that what we got?

[SPEAKER_09]: We got to take another break.

[SPEAKER_09]: Can you wrap this up when we come back?

[SPEAKER_09]: I can't.

[SPEAKER_09]: I can't.

[SPEAKER_09]: I can't.

[SPEAKER_09]: Because I know this is not the best part, right?

[SPEAKER_09]: There's another part.

[SPEAKER_09]: Let's take a break.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, we'll come back.

[SPEAKER_09]: You're at lunch on the bus.

[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, that's good.

[SPEAKER_09]: This is...

[SPEAKER_08]: I love it.

[SPEAKER_07]: The best of the Michael Marasho is me, your old buddy Rob, and let's have the thrilling conclusion.

[SPEAKER_07]: I feel like an announcer on an old Saturday morning cereal, uh, and I say cereal like a series of shows, not like, you know, sentimental scratch, but let me start again.

[SPEAKER_07]: And now the thrilling conclusion of Oscar and the Bush family at Walker's point in Kenny Bunkport made.

[SPEAKER_07]: Let's see, I could do that.

[SPEAKER_07]: That's not so bad, a conclusion of Oscar's story when he was helping out the Bush family on the best of the micro-marish show.

[SPEAKER_09]: Between Rob's B-Wack going to concerts and you doing this, you guys are having a great summer and I'm sitting down here in 500 degree whether just living by cariously through you guys.

[SPEAKER_09]: So we left off.

[SPEAKER_09]: where you were coming into this little harbor.

[SPEAKER_09]: The ask you if you like lobster rolls, you notice the people on the dock are looking at the family.

[SPEAKER_09]: This is a big, big deal.

[SPEAKER_09]: You're smart enough to know you're in a special moment here, and this had to be very cool.

[SPEAKER_05]: And you want to take a beat and just say, okay, let's make sure that, you know, this has been a nice, I guess, for early 40 minutes into this, like just keep a tight, no missteps.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I love, I, I,

[SPEAKER_05]: I don't want to feel, I don't want to sound like a rude, but this is a big deal.

[SPEAKER_05]: It's a big deal, right?

[SPEAKER_09]: Of course, it's a big deal.

[SPEAKER_09]: And they like you and you honor that and they respect that.

[SPEAKER_09]: And I think that's why you're doing so well in this situation.

[SPEAKER_09]: That's probably why you're on that boat in the first place.

[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I appreciate that, Mike.

[SPEAKER_05]: I appreciate that.

[SPEAKER_05]: So we arrive, the Harbor Master, who's like, I'm like 100 feet up because we're down low on the

[SPEAKER_05]: by the full like but we can make room for this like we'll make room for the boat right okay i'm gonna ask you well the captain says no no no no i'll say but i'll say back and wait but i would like to just uh i'll flow the family which is right right classy move

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, so that tells you all you need to know that tell no let me tell you what that tells you I thought of me to Hey, we're the the so-and-so family we're coming in here make way for a uh-uh No, that's that's that's a that's a sweet deal right there that tells you that's just the way this family rolls I'm sorry.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's a big deal folks.

[SPEAKER_09]: I know you might not think so, but it is because they could easily probably get their own special spot that would be blocked off If they call the head that's not the way they don't want to displace anybody else.

[SPEAKER_09]: They're just dumb.

[SPEAKER_09]: I love them

[SPEAKER_05]: was it was a little back before hey I got a sailboat coming in but it's okay like you guys in there like nah like we're gonna wait we just want to offload the family and our guests okay so and I love the urgency of he pulled up and he said off off off everybody off everybody like it wasn't like hey he wants to honor that he's he's guy he this is Neil that's it then probably okay very cool Neil

[SPEAKER_05]: Was it that cool like I was like all right, so we all get up so that you do that believe me.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it was totally cool.

[SPEAKER_05]: We walk up.

[SPEAKER_05]: They go to a local restaurant that they know and they love.

[SPEAKER_05]: They arrive.

[SPEAKER_05]: Dora looks back to his clam chowder and like sure.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, the standard there you go.

[SPEAKER_05]: Mike, I've never had clam chowder in my life of all these years, right?

[SPEAKER_05]: And I was like, yeah, lobster rolls, what I'm good.

[SPEAKER_09]: Different chowder, isn't it?

[SPEAKER_09]: Is that better than anything you've ever tasted?

[SPEAKER_09]: Well, yeah, they do listen.

[SPEAKER_09]: There's one thing food wise that you will not get in the rest of the country.

[SPEAKER_09]: You won't.

[SPEAKER_09]: I'm sorry.

[SPEAKER_09]: You won't.

[SPEAKER_09]: It doesn't exist.

[SPEAKER_09]: You go to Maine.

[SPEAKER_09]: They have a different view of chowder.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's not that stuff that you think.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's not the flowery thick stuff that you can stand to spoon up in.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's very, it's, it's a soup.

[SPEAKER_09]: Well, it's the list of spam tasks.

[SPEAKER_05]: It is, and coming off a boat ride, it's perfect.

[SPEAKER_05]: We sit down, and there are a couple different tables.

[SPEAKER_05]: We sit down at, and the conversation about podcasting, the world of podcasting, we start having.

[SPEAKER_05]: And we haven't for maybe the dinner, the lunch, I'm sorry, it's like maybe 40 minutes to an hour, depending on time.

[SPEAKER_05]: And 20 minutes of that is talking about the world of podcasting, how they're excited to honor their father with this podcast.

[SPEAKER_09]: We're doing it for you.

[SPEAKER_09]: You haven't mentioned that that it's the legacy of HTML too.

[SPEAKER_05]: The show will be called all the best.

[SPEAKER_05]: We are in heavy production right now as we speak.

[SPEAKER_05]: So, and we will announce when we, we actually release here on the show, Mike.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to get somebody on the show to talk about it.

[SPEAKER_05]: A place to do that.

[SPEAKER_05]: We'll be done.

[SPEAKER_05]: Absolutely.

[SPEAKER_05]: And then they have what any family would have.

[SPEAKER_05]: They had family conversations, which I will not divulge here, but I was honored to be a part of and the level of trust that has given to have these conversations within the family.

[SPEAKER_09]: I'm glad they allowed you to come in and talk about it because I think it's a great story and it's great to hear.

[SPEAKER_09]: And I appreciate the family letting you do that.

[SPEAKER_09]: I know that's not common practice either.

[SPEAKER_09]: So to the Bush family solute from your boy here because really that's just terrific.

[SPEAKER_09]: I think this is so soon.

[SPEAKER_05]: And when we're done, everyone wants to get ice cream.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I could tell that a group a part of the group of the family was like, not going to get ice cream.

[SPEAKER_05]: So I didn't want to be a toddler and I said, I'll just hang back with you guys.

[SPEAKER_05]: They tell me you were lactose and tell them.

[SPEAKER_05]: No, I did not say that.

[SPEAKER_05]: I just did that.

[SPEAKER_05]: I just wanted to make a big deal out of it.

[SPEAKER_05]: And then I started hanging out and I tried to take in the little town that had never been to as beautiful.

[SPEAKER_05]: You're probably in Kenny Bunk.

[SPEAKER_05]: We're probably probably.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'll look on the map and I'll figure that out.

[SPEAKER_05]: But again, you just want to play your position.

[SPEAKER_05]: I play my position.

[SPEAKER_05]: I take a few pictures.

[SPEAKER_05]: I was like, hey, I can take a picture of you and so and so in the family.

[SPEAKER_05]: Take a few pictures of the people.

[SPEAKER_05]: And then they said, we're going to go to the restroom.

[SPEAKER_05]: I hang out.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'll just hang out here with the family.

[SPEAKER_05]: Come back.

[SPEAKER_05]: And then I'm standing there alone.

[SPEAKER_05]: Just taking a few pics, taking it all in.

[SPEAKER_05]: And Neil, who, by the way, and Marvin, who just were so kind.

[SPEAKER_05]: But Neil walks, walks down.

[SPEAKER_05]: Walks down and sees me standing alone near the dock and he's like, oh, like they left you.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm like, no, no, no, a couple of people went to the store and a couple of people went down.

[SPEAKER_05]: The restroom, I'm just going to hang out.

[SPEAKER_05]: I just want to make sure that.

[SPEAKER_05]: And he goes, have you had any pictures taken of, do you want any pictures for yourself?

[SPEAKER_05]: And I said, oh, no, it's okay.

[SPEAKER_05]: I don't want to put anybody out.

[SPEAKER_09]: Right.

[SPEAKER_05]: He goes, no, no, no.

[SPEAKER_05]: You got to come with me.

[SPEAKER_05]: What is a drawbridge?

[SPEAKER_05]: Just small people will drawbridge.

[SPEAKER_05]: Right.

[SPEAKER_05]: Because if you're here, you got to take a picture.

[SPEAKER_05]: It's iconic.

[SPEAKER_05]: So he walks me up to this bridge and says, and takes a couple snapshots.

[SPEAKER_05]: Awesome.

[SPEAKER_05]: Awesome.

[SPEAKER_05]: I didn't think that.

[SPEAKER_05]: Like it was just...

[SPEAKER_09]: No, that's so nice.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's fantastic.

[SPEAKER_09]: That's great.

[SPEAKER_05]: I love super nice.

[SPEAKER_09]: And you didn't throw up and you didn't fall off the boat.

[SPEAKER_09]: No, no, no, no.

[SPEAKER_05]: Get back on the boat.

[SPEAKER_05]: Shoot back and it is the same game.

[SPEAKER_05]: Like, perfect.

[SPEAKER_05]: Flying across the water.

[SPEAKER_05]: Arrived.

[SPEAKER_05]: And then what is it?

[SPEAKER_05]: Let's low tide.

[SPEAKER_05]: So.

[SPEAKER_05]: Right.

[SPEAKER_05]: They're like, we got to get the dinghy.

[SPEAKER_05]: Mike, I know you're a world of the dingue.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, you have to anchor the boat and bring a dingue in, right?

[SPEAKER_09]: Yes, the way.

[SPEAKER_09]: Because you can't bring the boat up to the dock, unless it's high-time.

[SPEAKER_09]: No, I get it.

[SPEAKER_09]: I know how that works.

[SPEAKER_05]: So the dingue is brought over, and it was like, it doesn't matter how powerful a family you are.

[SPEAKER_05]: It doesn't matter what a dingue is a dingue.

[SPEAKER_05]: Right?

[SPEAKER_05]: You gotta get in, get out.

[SPEAKER_05]: But we have to offload 12 people.

[SPEAKER_05]: So it takes a while.

[SPEAKER_05]: It takes a while, just fun how everybody's patient, nobody's bitching about it.

[SPEAKER_05]: Everyone's like, all right, no one's saying, hey there, you go first, no, you go first.

[SPEAKER_05]: You go first, we get off, get on to the water.

[SPEAKER_05]: I don't fall in the drink, because a dinghy doesn't matter how big it is or how small it is, you don't want to tip it over.

[SPEAKER_05]: So that's a small dinghy that's not like a motorized, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, it's a, they row in, we row in, right?

[SPEAKER_05]: We get off, I tell the team as a look, I have some more equipment in the car, because you should just drive the car up.

[SPEAKER_05]: You should next time just drive the car up to the driveway, the ring's driveway.

[SPEAKER_05]: So I grab my car, I say hi to the secret service again, as they see me walking through this path, I'm like, hey, I'm okay.

[SPEAKER_05]: Hi, boy.

[SPEAKER_08]: Don't mind me, I was here earlier.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sure I have some facial recognition that's picking me up, we're good to go.

[SPEAKER_05]: And grab the Volvo, pull up, get out, get into the home, start setting everything up.

[SPEAKER_05]: They're loving, we're talking to Rob Ford here in DC.

[SPEAKER_05]: We have a direct connection, everything's working out.

[SPEAKER_09]: Perfectly, that the secret service is there, right?

[SPEAKER_09]: They're on campus.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, yes, and they're on multiples.

[SPEAKER_09]: So that might mean something.

[SPEAKER_09]: And either somebody's coming or somebody's there, right?

[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, um, and as I'm putting the wires together and you know, and this is not a big setup, but we did a lot of pre-planning to know where these cables are going to go and how much cable exactly we need to for certain setup.

[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_05]: And then once the gear was cleared by the secret service, all that had to be done.

[SPEAKER_05]: And, um, through a bay window, I see,

[SPEAKER_05]: the 43rd president of the United States.

[SPEAKER_09]: W is there.

[SPEAKER_09]: See, that's what I was going to say.

[SPEAKER_09]: With the secret service that means you've got to...

[SPEAKER_09]: So, wow, this is already cool.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm not going to push my lock.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I imagine this will happen in the future.

[SPEAKER_09]: But you just sort of pop up and look out the window and you see it.

[SPEAKER_05]: No, I'm sitting at a table working.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I have two fan and numbers selected right of me.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I just had, that was my purview.

[SPEAKER_05]: Like I see, like I'm walking into the building.

[SPEAKER_05]: He's there, he's talking to somebody in the distance, like a tell.

[SPEAKER_09]: Right.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I get kind of the nod of like, hey, do you want to go and say hello?

[SPEAKER_05]: But Mike.

[SPEAKER_05]: We're in the middle of working.

[SPEAKER_05]: We're setting this broadcast up.

[SPEAKER_08]: Oh my god, the struggle.

[SPEAKER_08]: You didn't say no, did you?

[SPEAKER_05]: I said, I'm not going to say no, but I want to make sure we get this right for your broadcast.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I know you're tied on time because they had something to do.

[SPEAKER_05]: So let's make sure we get this right.

[SPEAKER_05]: If this happens today, that's amazing.

[SPEAKER_05]: If it doesn't, it'll be next time.

[SPEAKER_05]: We'll make this.

[SPEAKER_05]: And she looked at me and said, thank you.

[SPEAKER_05]: Thank you for making this.

[SPEAKER_05]: Like, it was the right order.

[SPEAKER_08]: It was the right move.

[SPEAKER_08]: All right, okay.

[SPEAKER_08]: I was the right move to make.

[SPEAKER_05]: Now.

[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, what have been awesome?

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_05]: But again, Mike, you're there for a mission, right?

[SPEAKER_05]: You want to make sure the mission, like the lunch was already wonderful, right?

[SPEAKER_05]: But ride was unexpected.

[SPEAKER_05]: You want to make sure this is done correctly that you're doing your thing.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, we do this right, right?

[SPEAKER_05]: Take care of your family, your podcast village family, take and then you're good to go.

[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_05]: So we do all of this.

[SPEAKER_05]: Do the test.

[SPEAKER_05]: It goes great.

[SPEAKER_05]: Everyone's happy.

[SPEAKER_05]: We actually record a few liners for a couple of the shows we're working through.

[SPEAKER_05]: I should give a plug to Doro Bush's a podcast that's called health gig about overall wellness lifestyle wellness podcast.

[SPEAKER_05]: Again, health gig you can find out in any platform that has podcasts and it's a phenomenal show.

[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_05]: And this gear will be set up for all the best and health gig.

[SPEAKER_05]: But what's wonderful about that entire experience is as I'm walking out, it's like you see, because this is how classy this family is.

[SPEAKER_05]: She says, I didn't want to forget one.

[SPEAKER_05]: I want to take a few pictures with you so they have like we have like a some pictures taken and she gives me

[SPEAKER_05]: A hat that says 41 on there and says, we don't even make these anymore.

[SPEAKER_05]: I want to make sure that you have something and thank you for coming up and making this priority.

[SPEAKER_05]: I know that you have a family engagement.

[SPEAKER_05]: It was just such a nice, beautiful moment.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I just gave her her hug, I said, I'm happy I was able to take care of this family and then now I'm going to go see my family.

[SPEAKER_05]: Thank you for making sure.

[SPEAKER_05]: Thank you for a wonderful afternoon, but also thank you for letting us be part of this project.

[SPEAKER_05]: And it literally, as I'm driving away the entire family's on the 10 scores, because they're practicing for some family tournament, but not 10 is different game.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm driving away, and everyone's just waving.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm driving the Atlantic, the Atlantic is to the right of me, the courts and the cottages are left to me and just what a surreal experience.

[SPEAKER_09]: Wow.

[SPEAKER_09]: And so you got the work done and the work came before before 43.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_09]: was 43 on the what game were they practice.

[SPEAKER_05]: I got it.

[SPEAKER_05]: He was in it.

[SPEAKER_08]: It's like it's it's a pickle ball.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yes, boom.

[SPEAKER_08]: It was pickle ball.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yes, yeah pickle ball.

[SPEAKER_05]: The Bushman go have a pickle tournament annually and that's also competitive in that is for the family was a 40.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, 43 was down playing pickle ball.

[SPEAKER_09]: He wait.

[SPEAKER_09]: You got away from the entire family like

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I'm gonna say that.

[SPEAKER_09]: You are a better man than I am if they say would you like to say Yeah, all right.

[SPEAKER_09]: Hey, I would I would have been I would have been exciting to you know, it's always exciting to meet a president very very But I I just You got to get the work done.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, you got to get the work done and if you do if you do good work We've learned Mike Have it have been Robby.

[SPEAKER_08]: What is it?

[SPEAKER_08]: Can I stay the night?

[SPEAKER_09]: You get the parameters, you get that that's why you're there and you may have you'll have other opportunities Would you meet did you meet Laura bush the the wife already did not I did not okay Or you hung out with the fam and then yes, you were on the boat.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's just spectacular

[SPEAKER_05]: Fast forward through the week.

[SPEAKER_05]: I get back to my brother's 50th.

[SPEAKER_05]: Right on time, suit on and all baptism is fantastic.

[SPEAKER_05]: Go to Cape Cod.

[SPEAKER_05]: We go to Martha's Vineyard for the day.

[SPEAKER_05]: And on the corner of somewhere in the Edgar town, I see what are three SUVs that look like their secret service.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I was like, oh, I wonder if President Obama is here.

[SPEAKER_05]: And for a while, they're idling, I'm not making a big deal.

[SPEAKER_05]: I've got Santos the dog.

[SPEAKER_05]: I've got a hat on.

[SPEAKER_05]: I don't want to make a big deal out of this.

[SPEAKER_05]: it was uh the the former slayty of look like a family member in the daughters came out of a restaurant Michelle Obama yes jump in that you see Michelle Obama and forty one in the same week and forty three yes yes forty three yes that is so cool so really

[SPEAKER_09]: Sorry, we'll go picture on a podcast.

[SPEAKER_08]: Go ahead, picture on a podcast.

[SPEAKER_09]: I said, say, go ahead.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, turn that down, please.

[SPEAKER_08]: Thank you.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's one of the congratulations.

[SPEAKER_08]: What an incredible time.

[SPEAKER_08]: Quite the week.

[SPEAKER_09]: Well, I feel like I don't have anything to offer other than, you know, news you may not need coming up next.

[SPEAKER_09]: And so, really, I got to be honest with you folks.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's really not all that good compared to obviously start.

[SPEAKER_09]: But I'm going to do it anyway.

[SPEAKER_09]: So, effort.

[SPEAKER_09]: We'll take a break and that we'll be back with more fun on the micro marriage show.

[SPEAKER_07]: Well, if we've learned anything at all today, is Oscar likes to say the word room, and he certainly felt like a room there, but what a great story, what a good guy, and fun, right?

[SPEAKER_07]: I love Oscar telling that story.

[SPEAKER_07]: He's a good story, tell it.

[SPEAKER_07]: Now, let's finish up today's episode.

[SPEAKER_07]: We go back a few years.

[SPEAKER_09]: It seems like it was just yesterday that a band of road broadcasters kicked to the curb by the CBS Broadcasting Corporation wandered into a home in Manassass, Virginia, and started doing a podcast.

[SPEAKER_09]: But yes, it has been eight years and I've enjoyed every moment of it except for the year that I worked on the edge and did the podcast.

[SPEAKER_09]: As we call it, the ice cream cone era.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_09]: That was the ice cream cone.

[SPEAKER_09]: Soft soft and there it is.

[SPEAKER_09]: That was not, that was not fun for me.

[SPEAKER_09]: I did not enjoy that, but every other, and then the new incarnation, which is, what is our anniversaries?

[SPEAKER_09]: Like four, three, four, five.

[SPEAKER_09]: I made five, I don't keep track of that, but made 23,000.

[SPEAKER_07]: I don't keep track of that, but made 23,000.

[SPEAKER_07]: I don't keep track of that, but made 23,000.

[SPEAKER_09]: I don't keep track of that, but made 23,000.

[SPEAKER_07]: I don't keep track of that, but made 23,000.

[SPEAKER_05]: I don't keep track of that, but made 23,000.

[SPEAKER_05]: I don't keep track of that, but made 23,000.

[SPEAKER_05]: I don't keep track of that, but made 23,000.

[SPEAKER_05]: So four, yeah.

[SPEAKER_05]: But Mike, wow.

[SPEAKER_05]: The

[SPEAKER_07]: And Mike, it's fantastic.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, 25.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's, it's great.

[SPEAKER_09]: I cannot, I can't begin to thank people for supporting us and normally we blow right by it.

[SPEAKER_09]: But I became just looking at December 7th, I became aware of the fact that we have this wonderful anniversary and congratulations to everybody associated with the show and to you.

[SPEAKER_07]: To you especially.

[SPEAKER_09]: with your name on the map said no you especially no no no no hey how about this rock forward oh my god

[SPEAKER_08]: A trailblazer.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yes, yes, he hit the power's name or my mention Rob Ford the other day was chuckling about I got why because people are listening a little bit down here.

[SPEAKER_09]: That's good, which is pretty fun and you know Was mentioning who's that guy Rob Ford and I just said well, there's another show on the network that has his mother on Yeah, wouldn't I love that grab I would love that day.

[SPEAKER_09]: Hey, hey, hey, hey, take it easy Matt Lauer Don't go grab his mom.

[SPEAKER_09]: She'll he comes down on the weekends Mike

[SPEAKER_09]: Little later on you know that's great is on that episode of the Perkins show She calls him Robert Robert Robert like he's somebody And he's can picture him coming down to the breakfast table going hello, my there Hello, my there hello Robert and I would really hoping that I would get the special eight in Hatton coat this morning No, this morning Robert is cream of weed

[SPEAKER_08]: Madder!

[SPEAKER_08]: I love hanging out with Rob so much because his life is so horrible.

[SPEAKER_05]: It makes me feel better about my life.

[SPEAKER_08]: Was he still living with his, is he still living in the sin?

[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_05]: Well, in full disclosure, I'll say something, and I know Rob, like he just, we, as is how we engage.

[SPEAKER_05]: You'll be tinkering with wires or pulling things left and right, and he will say to me, Hey!

[SPEAKER_05]: Um, you think that's bad.

[SPEAKER_05]: And then whatever comes afterwards is like 10 times worse than my life.

[SPEAKER_05]: Whether it's his dog.

[SPEAKER_09]: You'll Kevin Neil and bit stabbing himself.
