<v Speaker 1>You're waking up to Denver's Morning.
<v Speaker 2>Show with Nina and Josh.
<v Speaker 1>Mix 100.
<v Speaker 2>Some shocking news today on your celebrity quickie. So we
<v Speaker 2>are finding out that Gypsy Rose Blanchard, we found out
<v Speaker 2>her ex-fiance, I think he's her ex-fiance now. has passed
<v Speaker 2>away at the age of 33. So news broke last night.
<v Speaker 2>His name is Ken. He was found unresponsive at his
<v Speaker 2>home in Louisiana, and it was his birthday as well.
<v Speaker 2>This is just an insane story. He was found by
<v Speaker 2>Gypsy's brother, and reports are coming in that a substance
<v Speaker 2>was found with Ken at his home, and as of
<v Speaker 2>right now, it is a suspected overdose. So Gypsy said...
<v Speaker 2>She has tried to text Ken happy birthday the day of.
<v Speaker 2>She never got a response. Gypsy also mentioned that he
<v Speaker 2>was being really badly cyber bullied and he was kind
<v Speaker 2>of in a depressive state. I don't know if that
<v Speaker 2>has anything to do with what happened.
<v Speaker 1>Is that an alibi?
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not going there. I'm just saying it's very hard
<v Speaker 1>not to go there.
<v Speaker 2>I know. Exactly.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just saying.
<v Speaker 2>And that's what's already kind of running rampant on the
<v Speaker 2>internet because this did break, I don't know, 9 p.m. yesterday.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>And so the internet had all night to make all
<v Speaker 2>their jokes and all their assumptions. But police are further
<v Speaker 2>investigating his death right now. And Yeah, we're all thinking it, Josh.
<v Speaker 2>We're all thinking it.
<v Speaker 3>What's interesting is when I first saw this, I was
<v Speaker 3>actually in the middle of watching the Krista Pike documentary.
<v Speaker 3>There's a documentary that's on YouTube right now that opened
<v Speaker 3>up like, I don't know, 15 days ago. So I
<v Speaker 3>was watching that and then just kind of mindlessly scrolling
<v Speaker 3>on socials too.
<v Speaker 1>And I see that and I'm like, what is happening?
<v Speaker 2>What's going on?
<v Speaker 1>Like, it just.
<v Speaker 3>it's always gonna look fishy with someone who has gone
<v Speaker 3>to prison for what she is known to going for
<v Speaker 3>prison for.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, killing her mother. it's a weird look. I'm sorry.
<v Speaker 2>And now her fiance, I think they were not together currently.
<v Speaker 2>They do have a child together, but the fact that
<v Speaker 2>she felt the need to immediately say, Oh, well he
<v Speaker 2>was really depressed because he was being very badly cyber bullied. Like,
<v Speaker 2>okay girl, but if this is also a suspected overdose,
<v Speaker 2>like what does that have to do with anything? Why
<v Speaker 2>are we, why are we putting that out there already?
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, very weird news.
<v Speaker 3>I don't understand it, but, We're gonna try to bring
<v Speaker 3>that bad news up with some good news a little bit.
<v Speaker 1>This is a really cool story. A St.
<v Speaker 3>Louis man has spent decades searching for his biological roots
<v Speaker 3>and then all of the sudden just learned a stunning discovery.
<v Speaker 3>His father, after decades of searching, is Doobie Brothers legend
<v Speaker 3>Michael McDonald.
<v Speaker 1>This is crazy.
<v Speaker 3>So Michael Gosling or Gosling, I'm not quite sure how
<v Speaker 3>to say his last name, but Michael is an adopted
<v Speaker 3>infant and after searching for his biological parents for forever,
<v Speaker 3>he began unraveling a weird little mystery from an unknown
<v Speaker 3>half-brother who took that 23andMe test. So on his 58th birthday,
<v Speaker 3>so think about going this, almost 60 years without knowing
<v Speaker 3>who your father is, he finally connected with his birth
<v Speaker 3>mother who spoke by phone with his biological father. And
<v Speaker 3>he said, hey, are you Michael McDonald? And he said, yes,
<v Speaker 3>I'm afraid so, I'm afraid I am, so... McDonald, he's
<v Speaker 3>known for so many hits, like What a Fool Believes
<v Speaker 3>and many, many other. He expressed that he had much
<v Speaker 3>relief to find out that his son has had a
<v Speaker 3>very good life.
<v Speaker 1>He's very excited.
<v Speaker 3>He said the real rock stars of the story are
<v Speaker 3>his adoptive parents. And since then, the two have met
<v Speaker 3>in person and now McDonald's is a grandfather. So all
<v Speaker 3>of a sudden, after not being a grandfather forever, forever,
<v Speaker 3>even though he kind of was, he found out that
<v Speaker 3>he has grandkids too. So it's a really nice story
<v Speaker 3>coming together, but it's one that, you know, one of
<v Speaker 3>those things of always, you know, wanting to be like, Hey,
<v Speaker 3>Maybe I'm adopted and my father's really, really famous.
<v Speaker 1>This is actually true.
<v Speaker 2>This actually happened. Wow, interesting right there. It's Denver's Morning
<v Speaker 2>Show with Josh and Nina on Mix 100. And Josh,
<v Speaker 2>yesterday we had some fun playing around with a video.
<v Speaker 2>We posted up a video because, of course, we have
<v Speaker 2>this Avs giveaway at 8.20. and we're giving away four tickets,
<v Speaker 2>and we decided, you know, let's do another video, just
<v Speaker 2>kind of let people know what's happening. We got with
<v Speaker 2>Big Rob, we were watching the fight that happened at
<v Speaker 2>the game the other day, and I ended up punching
<v Speaker 2>you in the face.
<v Speaker 1>You did. Sorry about that. No, it's okay, it's fine.
<v Speaker 1>Glad you took the rings off. Yeah. really, really sweet
<v Speaker 1>of you.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it was good, right?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, no, we're giving that family four pack away, which
<v Speaker 3>is awesome because there's the loaded tickets and we're doing
<v Speaker 3>all that later at 8.30 today. But yeah, I got
<v Speaker 3>socked in the face and fell to the floor and
<v Speaker 3>now everybody's calling me a wimp.
<v Speaker 1>So it's fantastic. Aww. Love it. No, we love it, Nina.
<v Speaker 1>It's great. It's for the fans. It's for the fans
<v Speaker 1>of hockey and the avalanche, and it's okay.
<v Speaker 2>If anyone has ever wanted to punch Josh in the face,
<v Speaker 2>just know it felt really, really good.
<v Speaker 1>Nina, that list is long.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I bet.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's the J name. That's what happens. It's fine.
<v Speaker 3>Every ex that I watched that video was like, go, girl.
<v Speaker 1>You go, girl.
<v Speaker 2>They were like, yes, thank you.
<v Speaker 1>I think it replayed 18 times or something like that.
<v Speaker 2>It might have. It might have, for sure. Yeah, right
<v Speaker 2>now we are actually live on YouTube. If you want
<v Speaker 2>to check us out, go subscribe at Mix 100 Denver.

<v Speaker 2>And because we were at the office a little bit
<v Speaker 2>longer than usual, Josh, yesterday, I didn't get home until
<v Speaker 2>like 1.30, 2 o'clock. Then I'm doing social media stuff,
<v Speaker 2>posting things, da-da-da-da-da. And next thing I know, I'm like, well,
<v Speaker 2>it's basically 2 p.m. I'm eating dinner in three hours,
<v Speaker 2>and I haven't eaten yet. Starving, but I need just
<v Speaker 2>a little something to kind of hold me over till dinner.
<v Speaker 1>A little snacky.
<v Speaker 2>Right, yeah. So I have these backyard garden tomatoes, and
<v Speaker 2>my husband's like, we need to use these ASAP. And
<v Speaker 2>I was like, I'm going to make a tomato sandwich,
<v Speaker 2>because that's what you do when you have some extra
<v Speaker 2>leftover tomatoes. I've been looking forward to my once-a-year tomato sandwich.
<v Speaker 2>And I decided, let me film this. Let me put
<v Speaker 2>it out on the internet. Let me see what the
<v Speaker 2>reaction is. Because I know it's kind of 50-50 when
<v Speaker 2>it comes to tomatoes.
<v Speaker 1>It should not be 50-50.
<v Speaker 3>I have a lot to say about this. First of all,
<v Speaker 3>let's make that once a year tomato sandwich into once
<v Speaker 3>a decade.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, come on. So that's rule number one.
<v Speaker 3>Second of all, just what the heck? I watched the video,
<v Speaker 3>and I think I watched it four times to understand why.
<v Speaker 1>Just what you're doing.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, so my dad, I've always thought, is a little weird, too,
<v Speaker 3>because he could eat a tomato like an apple.
<v Speaker 1>Weird, too.
<v Speaker 3>He loves tomatoes, and I don't like tomatoes to that degree.
<v Speaker 3>If they're on a sandwich, fine, so be it. I've
<v Speaker 3>never seen a sandwich made out of them.
<v Speaker 2>Out of just tomatoes? No. It was tomatoes, mayo, a
<v Speaker 2>little salt on top, and just sandwich bread.
<v Speaker 1>Which, by the way, salt, pepper, if you did add pepper, salt, whatever,
<v Speaker 1>that's good. I like that. That adds some flavor. That
<v Speaker 1>adds some spice to it a little bit. Right, right.
<v Speaker 1>I like that.
<v Speaker 3>The amount, the amount of mayonnaise that was added to
<v Speaker 3>that sandwich is ungodly. Like, like I needed to go
<v Speaker 3>to like confession or something for what I watched.
<v Speaker 1>It was, it was. No, there's no listening to this, Nina.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sorry. I watched and I'm truly like, I love you.
<v Speaker 1>I really do. You are a sweetheart. You are such
<v Speaker 1>a kind woman. You're so sweet. That was gross. That
<v Speaker 1>was really gross. Like, you grossed me out yesterday.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, I will admit, the amount of mayo that I
<v Speaker 2>put on that sandwich, it was a little much. It
<v Speaker 2>was a little much even for me. And I'm a
<v Speaker 2>fan of mayo. Like, say what you want to say. But, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>it was a little much, but I kind of just, like,
<v Speaker 2>did it big for the video. I'm not going to lie.
<v Speaker 2>But I mean, I made a face at how much
<v Speaker 2>mayo I even made in it and put in it.
<v Speaker 2>But here's the thing, Josh. You think that is gross
<v Speaker 2>and disgusting because you don't like tomatoes. Now listen, once
<v Speaker 2>upon a time, I was young and immature and my
<v Speaker 2>taste buds hadn't, Developed yet either so I get it.
<v Speaker 2>I was like you too, and I didn't love tomatoes
<v Speaker 2>either But one day you'll grow up and it will
<v Speaker 2>be okay But I do want to say one thing
<v Speaker 2>because there was a lot of people commenting on the
<v Speaker 2>videos not a single person commented that it was a
<v Speaker 2>disgusting sandwich except for one individual and I was like,
<v Speaker 2>let me see I was like I bet you that
<v Speaker 2>this is a child and Because again, young, immature, undeveloped
<v Speaker 2>taste buds. And I click on the profile, literally is
<v Speaker 2>like a 12-year-old kid. I'm like, first of all, why
<v Speaker 2>are you commenting on my Instagram? Second of all, you
<v Speaker 2>are a child. Like literally a kid.
<v Speaker 3>Well, first of all, it's because he's a massive fan
<v Speaker 3>of Denver's Best Morning Show with Nina and Doc. So
<v Speaker 3>first of all, thank you for commenting on that video.
<v Speaker 3>Second of all, I love the fact that you agree
<v Speaker 3>with me.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm not saying I hate tomatoes, but I've never
<v Speaker 1>seen them be the end pieces of a sandwich. There's
<v Speaker 1>nothing in between except for mayonnaise.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, in between it was just mayonnaise and tomato and
<v Speaker 2>on some bread.
<v Speaker 1>Can you throw a little turkey or bacon?
<v Speaker 2>I could have, but again, I just needed something simple
<v Speaker 2>and light because I was going to eat dinner in
<v Speaker 2>a few hours.
<v Speaker 1>Next time, go with air. I mean, literally just choose air.
<v Speaker 1>Come on.
<v Speaker 2>Wait, do you want to know what is an added
<v Speaker 2>ingredient that people, multiple people said to put on it
<v Speaker 2>for the next time? Which, basically, they said cheese. Cheese, tomato,
<v Speaker 2>mayo on the bread. But I was like, cheese would.
<v Speaker 1>Honestly, a little separator. Like, give me something. I don't know. Like,
<v Speaker 1>I like tomato on a sandwich. It's fine. Just give
<v Speaker 1>me something else. I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Fine. Next time, I will cook up turkey bacon because
<v Speaker 2>Josh didn't like my sandwich.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you.
<v Speaker 2>Three things you need to know before you go into
<v Speaker 2>the office today, including more Denver Summit news. So yesterday,
<v Speaker 2>they actually broke ground for... on their new stadium at
<v Speaker 2>Santa Fe Yards. So this is a big deal because
<v Speaker 2>this is only the second dedicated professional women's soccer stadium
<v Speaker 2>in the country.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, this is really cool.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. So the fact that they broke ground yesterday, it
<v Speaker 2>is happening is just very, very exciting, not only for Denver,
<v Speaker 2>but of course, everyone on the team and for women's
<v Speaker 2>sports in general. So the stadium is going to be
<v Speaker 2>built at I-25 in South Broadway. It's going to be 14,500 seats,
<v Speaker 2>which that's a pretty big stadium.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, yeah, Ball Arena holds 18, so that's awesome. Exactly.
<v Speaker 1>That's really, really cool.
<v Speaker 2>And they are set to open in 2028, so it's
<v Speaker 2>just very exciting that... Ground was officially broken yesterday, and
<v Speaker 2>they are on their way to constructing this new stadium.
<v Speaker 3>Well, yeah, and right now they're playing at like a
<v Speaker 3>makeshift built stadium right next to, it's not Dove Valley anymore,
<v Speaker 3>but where the Broncos practice facilities are. So right over there.
<v Speaker 3>And I've seen that, and it's a cool stadium. It
<v Speaker 3>just looks like massive bleachers being built up. But the
<v Speaker 3>fact that they're getting their own dedicated stadium for all
<v Speaker 3>of us and the fans to go see, I love that.
<v Speaker 2>I think that's really, really cool. That's the key right there.
<v Speaker 2>And I do love the location. Personally, it's... Nearby my house.
<v Speaker 1>There you go.
<v Speaker 2>So, I mean, once that opens up, I will be
<v Speaker 2>definitely going to some Denver Summit games. So that is exciting.
<v Speaker 1>For selfish reasons. Love it, Nina. No, that's awesome. Yeah. Well, hey,
<v Speaker 1>you know what, Nina? I have some news for you.
<v Speaker 1>You might want to... Well, let me ask you this.
<v Speaker 1>Hold on. Are you a person who ever... leaves a
<v Speaker 1>good or bad review on Yelp when you visit something?
<v Speaker 2>I have before in the past, yes.
<v Speaker 3>Hey, well, you might want to think twice about this
<v Speaker 3>next time because researchers have just found out that looking
<v Speaker 3>through public reviews on Yelp specifically... You can figure out
<v Speaker 3>social connections between other users and yourself, and that's without
<v Speaker 3>looking at any other friends list, like on Facebook or
<v Speaker 3>Instagram or anything. Now, why does that matter at all,
<v Speaker 3>you ask? Because online scammers use those social connections to
<v Speaker 3>make their phishing scams much more believable, okay? This is
<v Speaker 3>when it looks like a friend is texting you or
<v Speaker 3>messaging you on Facebook and saying, hey, I need some
<v Speaker 3>help or what's going on, you know, those types of things.
<v Speaker 3>The good news is that these researchers also tested a
<v Speaker 3>couple ways to protect us. Don't Yelp, essentially.
<v Speaker 1>I mean.
<v Speaker 2>Don't do it.
<v Speaker 3>Essentially, they're like, hey, don't leave a lot of reviews
<v Speaker 3>because if you're just constantly leaving a trail for yourself
<v Speaker 3>and you're the one popping up consistently.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's true.
<v Speaker 1>They will target you more often, okay?
<v Speaker 3>So I guess if you really feel like this place
<v Speaker 3>just was awful or really good, you can leave positive reviews.
<v Speaker 1>Or really good and you're like, I have to share
<v Speaker 1>this with people.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Then maybe do it. But other than that, it's kind
<v Speaker 1>of keep your opinions to yourself.
<v Speaker 2>The more you do it, the more you are going
<v Speaker 2>to be targeted.
<v Speaker 1>You're leaving a massive paper trail essentially. Okay.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, that kind of makes sense. And I don't
<v Speaker 2>do it that often. It's if something like really, really
<v Speaker 2>bad happens.
<v Speaker 1>Or really good.
<v Speaker 2>Or really good.
<v Speaker 3>No, but I agree because I've been in those places.
<v Speaker 1>I've been in those restaurants that I'm like, dude. Come on,
<v Speaker 1>what's going on? You want to leave a review.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, I did it for an apartment complex that
<v Speaker 2>was essentially scamming people out of money.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, that's probably a good yelp.
<v Speaker 2>I was like, hey, warning. For real, for real, this
<v Speaker 2>is not a good spot.
<v Speaker 1>To be at.
<v Speaker 3>But it's just we always say we'd never fall for
<v Speaker 3>those phishing scams, and yet we do.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, we really, really do. So just be careful
<v Speaker 1>out there. Maybe don't yelp every day.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, sounds good. So Run on the Rocks is coming
<v Speaker 2>back to Red Rocks next weekend. This benefits the National
<v Speaker 2>Lung Association. Run on the Rocks. This is the only
<v Speaker 2>race that happens at Red Rocks, which is kind of cool.
<v Speaker 2>So it's a 5K course running around Red Rocks. Up
<v Speaker 2>and down inclines, you know, so you're huffing and puffing.
<v Speaker 2>But they also offer a walk, a 1.3 mile walk,
<v Speaker 2>in case you don't feel like running that day.
<v Speaker 1>I don't.
<v Speaker 2>They have live music, entertainment there afterwards. They want you
<v Speaker 2>to try to go up those famous stairs if you can. But, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>afterwards they do, of course, have an after party. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>it is Red Rocks.
<v Speaker 1>You have to, right?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, exactly. But this sounds kind of fun. It is
<v Speaker 2>next weekend, so I will make sure to put that
<v Speaker 2>on the Den 10 next weekend. But if you want
<v Speaker 2>to check out this weekend's Den 10, it is up
<v Speaker 2>at Mix100. com. So make sure you check that out. And
<v Speaker 2>speaking of this Saturday's game. We're going to be there, Josh.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, this is so awesome.
<v Speaker 3>So you were talking about earlier how you were going
<v Speaker 3>to be there. Then we started giving tickets away. And
<v Speaker 3>I just had major FOMO. I was like, I got
<v Speaker 3>to figure out a way to get there.
<v Speaker 1>And you so generously had an extra ticket. I did.
<v Speaker 1>And it's so, so kind of you that you thought
<v Speaker 1>of me for once.
<v Speaker 3>Finally was able to give me a ticket.
<v Speaker 1>And I was so happy.
<v Speaker 3>I was so excited. I was like, absolutely. So I'm
<v Speaker 3>going to join you. And I'm so excited because I'm...
<v Speaker 3>I'm an Avs fan. I flippin' love them. I bleed hockey.
<v Speaker 1>I grew up playing hockey. I grew up playing and
<v Speaker 1>being a fan of the Avalanche.
<v Speaker 3>Of course. So I was like, yes, of course I
<v Speaker 3>want to go with you.
<v Speaker 1>That sounds awesome.
<v Speaker 2>Well, you're welcome, but you sounded a little sarcastic there.
<v Speaker 2>So next time, I don't know, I'm going to double
<v Speaker 2>think that.
<v Speaker 1>No, I'll buy the drinks. I'll buy something.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I promise I'll make up for it. I promise you.
<v Speaker 1>And look, this is the thing. The Avs are really, really, really.
<v Speaker 3>trying to make that Stanley Cup push and I'm not
<v Speaker 3>trying to jinx anything I'm not but that being said
<v Speaker 3>they're a good team they are a good team so
<v Speaker 3>these are the games you don't want to miss this
<v Speaker 3>year they are fired up especially after that massive win
<v Speaker 3>the other day this is only their second game of
<v Speaker 3>the season yeah this is only their second game of
<v Speaker 3>the season they had a few days off in between
<v Speaker 3>um plus I mean what else would you want to
<v Speaker 3>do on a Saturday night.
<v Speaker 2>Right Absolutely nothing else. So make sure you try to
<v Speaker 2>get into that game as well. So we're giving away
<v Speaker 2>those tickets at about 8.20 and we're going to mix
<v Speaker 2>it up. We kind of changed up the game a
<v Speaker 2>little bit. So if you know your hockey, you watch
<v Speaker 2>a lot of it on TV, you listen to all
<v Speaker 2>the sports reports. That, just in general, may help you
<v Speaker 2>with the game that we have coming up at 820
<v Speaker 2>to win those Avs tickets.
<v Speaker 1>It might.
<v Speaker 3>It's one of those things. I'm not giving too much away. But, again,
<v Speaker 3>playing hockey in my younger years, you just learn a
<v Speaker 3>lot of.
<v Speaker 2>Terms.
<v Speaker 3>And that's, that's, that's what I'm excited for. I'm excited
<v Speaker 3>because it brings me back and it's so funny. So
<v Speaker 3>have you ever been, have you ever been able to
<v Speaker 3>be near or in a hockey locker room?
<v Speaker 2>No, actually no. And I've never even seen it at
<v Speaker 2>ball arena.
<v Speaker 3>So first of all, the one at ball arena is beautiful.
<v Speaker 3>They redid it a couple of years ago. I mean,
<v Speaker 3>it is, it is the, the championship locker room. It's
<v Speaker 3>a beautiful locker room, but that being said, there's a
<v Speaker 3>particular stench in hockey locker rooms.
<v Speaker 1>They are notorious for that.
<v Speaker 2>Sweaty, gross boys.
<v Speaker 1>It's just bad. It's a bad smell.
<v Speaker 3>It smells like no one's washed their shoulder pads or
<v Speaker 3>their jock in decades there, okay? However, it's funny, Nina.
<v Speaker 3>I feel like after years of not being in a
<v Speaker 3>locker room, I miss the smell.
<v Speaker 1>Ew! No, I really do. Josh! No, because it's nostalgic.
<v Speaker 3>You know how it smells like, you know, I'm going
<v Speaker 3>to give you a horrible example here, but people are like,
<v Speaker 3>when I smell the rain, it reminds me of home.
<v Speaker 1>Obviously, that's a great smell. I love the smell of rain.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's a nice, decent, good smell.
<v Speaker 3>The wet pavement, yes. But that being said... a smell
<v Speaker 3>can take you back to a certain time and place.
<v Speaker 2>Definitely.
<v Speaker 3>And the locker room smell, no matter how bad it is,
<v Speaker 3>and I promise you, anybody that's played a sport, whether
<v Speaker 3>it's football, where the locker room smells too, hockey, lacrosse, baseball,
<v Speaker 3>text in, let me know if you have a particular
<v Speaker 3>smell that has to do with your sport, and you
<v Speaker 3>miss it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Because it's nostalgic. So 303-691-1649, Texas.
<v Speaker 3>I want to know, If you have a smell that
<v Speaker 3>brings you home, and it's a bad smell. It has
<v Speaker 3>to be a bad smell.
<v Speaker 1>Ew.
<v Speaker 2>But I miss it, Nina. I will say, listen, I
<v Speaker 2>played sports throughout high school, too. And so, like, obviously
<v Speaker 2>we had our locker room and stuff like that. But
<v Speaker 2>I do not miss that smell.
<v Speaker 1>There ain't nothing.
<v Speaker 2>No part of me misses that smell, Josh.
<v Speaker 1>I promise you it does not smell as bad as
<v Speaker 1>a hockey locker room.
<v Speaker 3>No.
<v Speaker 2>No. I don't even want to know what that smells like.
<v Speaker 3>You can have bad cleats, like soccer, whatever. You can
<v Speaker 3>have horrible smelling feet, shoes, whatever. There is nothing worse
<v Speaker 3>than a hockey locker room.
<v Speaker 2>Josh, the next time you try to come for me
<v Speaker 2>for having a disgusting sandwich, 10 minutes later, do not
<v Speaker 2>talk to me about how you miss the smell of
<v Speaker 2>your hockey locker room.
<v Speaker 1>It smells so good.
<v Speaker 2>No, sick. So Halle Berry in a little bit of
<v Speaker 2>legal trouble right now. This is a bit of a shock, Josh.
<v Speaker 2>So Halle Berry has been served with a restraining order.
<v Speaker 2>against her ex-husband and her son. So Halle's ex, Oliver Martinez,
<v Speaker 2>claims that their son had called him and told him
<v Speaker 2>that Halle physically attacked him. This claim is apparently not
<v Speaker 2>an isolated incident. They say that other moments like this
<v Speaker 2>have happened in the past, and Halle Berry has been
<v Speaker 2>ordered by a judge to stay 100 yards away from
<v Speaker 2>her ex, And she will be allowed to see her son,
<v Speaker 2>but only during court-ordered visitation, which is two days a
<v Speaker 2>week and every other weekend until their hearing, which is mid-October.
<v Speaker 3>I mean, you hate to hear that because it obviously
<v Speaker 3>involves a child and you do not want to hear
<v Speaker 3>anything bad or about abuse with a kid.
<v Speaker 2>No, no.
<v Speaker 1>But it is shocking. I mean, you always kind of hold...
<v Speaker 1>celebrities in a higher regard, right? Exactly.
<v Speaker 2>Whether that's to a fault or not. She's such a
<v Speaker 2>beloved actress.
<v Speaker 1>Exactly.
<v Speaker 2>I think not only for her movies, and yes, of course,
<v Speaker 2>her looks and things like that, but just as a
<v Speaker 2>person in the past, she's always seemed like you know,
<v Speaker 2>a good head on her shoulders, she's been okay, this
<v Speaker 2>and that. But to hear something like this, like you said,
<v Speaker 2>with claims of abuse towards a child, it's very concerning
<v Speaker 2>and it really makes you kind of look at her
<v Speaker 2>a little differently.
<v Speaker 1>Definitely.
<v Speaker 3>And I think it's bringing to light a lot of
<v Speaker 3>things of Hollywood, how we hold these people in such
<v Speaker 3>high regard. And they are humans just like us. Now,
<v Speaker 3>I'm not making any excuse, but they make mistakes. You know,
<v Speaker 3>they do things the wrong way sometimes. Right.
<v Speaker 1>Well, this is an interesting story.
<v Speaker 3>Meghan Markle is back in the news.
<v Speaker 1>She has launched a new advent calendar. Have you ever
<v Speaker 1>had an advent calendar?
<v Speaker 2>Yes, and I love them, and I wish I did
<v Speaker 2>them yearly. I just forget.
<v Speaker 3>So again, I'm a little nerdy. I always get the
<v Speaker 3>Star Wars Lego advent calendar.
<v Speaker 2>Every time, Josh?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, pretty much every year.
<v Speaker 2>That's crazy.
<v Speaker 1>I like it.
<v Speaker 3>It's fun, but she is releasing a $ 150 advent calendar,
<v Speaker 3>and she's in partnership with a Los Angeles chocolatier company
<v Speaker 3>called Compartes, I believe. The calendar features 24 hand- This
<v Speaker 3>is the big deal. Handcrafted chocolates averaging $ 6 each.
<v Speaker 1>So for each chocolate.
<v Speaker 2>I know.
<v Speaker 1>I know.
<v Speaker 3>Flavors include the norms like strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, and orange marmalade.
<v Speaker 3>And it's inspired by As Ever's jam collection. I believe
<v Speaker 3>that's her brand. It's called As Ever.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>The countdown numbers are hand-painted, Nina, in edible gold, okay?
<v Speaker 2>Are you supposed to be licking the box on the outside?
<v Speaker 2>What is the point of that?
<v Speaker 1>That's my question. I don't know.
<v Speaker 3>It's hand-painted in edible gold, so I don't know if
<v Speaker 3>we're Willy Wonka-ing this thing and licking the walls.
<v Speaker 1>Exactly. But it's using Meghan Markle's own penmanship, okay?
<v Speaker 3>So this calendar is now on sale if you want
<v Speaker 3>to spend $ 150 on it.
<v Speaker 1>It's different. It's $ 28 more than Compartez's standard advent calendar. However,
<v Speaker 1>I looked this up.
<v Speaker 3>The Compartez luxury brand that they have They have alternative
<v Speaker 3>advent calendars for as much as almost $ 400.
<v Speaker 2>Wow.
<v Speaker 3>So I don't know where they're getting this chocolate. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>I don't know where they're getting this stuff, but apparently
<v Speaker 3>you can buy really, really expensive chocolates. So I guess
<v Speaker 3>hers is kind of middle of the road, but I
<v Speaker 3>don't think I've ever spent $ 150. No, not on chocolates.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, I've bought fancy chocolates, and yes, it can
<v Speaker 2>be pricey for gifts. I've done Mother's Day, and you know.
<v Speaker 2>buy fancy chocolates and stuff like that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, but how much are these chocolates?
<v Speaker 2>Not $ 150. That's what I'm saying. No. So yeah, I
<v Speaker 2>think it's because her name is attached to it and
<v Speaker 2>all the handmade stuff. But still, still, that's a lot
<v Speaker 2>for an advent calendar.
<v Speaker 1>It is. I think I'll be skipping that one this year. Sorry, Megan.
<v Speaker 2>And Hayden Panettiere's family said that they support Hayden's ex
<v Speaker 2>to seek legal guardianship over their 11-year-old daughter, Kaya. So
<v Speaker 2>he's doing this to help protect her because she is
<v Speaker 2>the sole individual to take on Hayden's assets because no
<v Speaker 2>will was made when Hayden passed away, so it's going
<v Speaker 2>to her daughter. And the family says that, hey, they
<v Speaker 2>support this 100%. He's a great father. They think that
<v Speaker 2>he has his daughter's best interest at heart. And he
<v Speaker 2>is truly doing this to support their daughter and for
<v Speaker 2>no other reason behind it. So they're 100% behind this move.
<v Speaker 2>And finally, some good news coming from one of these
<v Speaker 2>Hollywood families.
<v Speaker 1>That's what I was going to say.
<v Speaker 2>Lately, it's been so doom and gloom.
<v Speaker 1>It really has.
<v Speaker 3>And I'm very excited for his daughter, especially because with
<v Speaker 3>everything that's been going on, it's just bad news after
<v Speaker 3>bad news after bad news. I'm glad that he seems
<v Speaker 3>like he's got a good head on his shoulders. He's
<v Speaker 3>a good father. He obviously loves her. He is her
<v Speaker 3>father and is apparently going to take care of her, and.
<v Speaker 1>I love that.
<v Speaker 2>Three things you need to know before you go into
<v Speaker 2>the office today, including something no one asked for, Tombstone Pizza.
<v Speaker 2>They're getting weird for Halloween, Josh.
<v Speaker 1>What is it?
<v Speaker 2>They are offering candy corn pizza kits.
<v Speaker 1>Come on!
<v Speaker 2>You are not excited for this.
<v Speaker 1>I would try this in a heartbeat. Are you kidding me? Okay.
<v Speaker 1>Missed tomato sandwich earlier, sorry. Listen, that's normal. Not bringing
<v Speaker 1>the past.
<v Speaker 2>A tomato sandwich is normal. A candy corn pizza, absolutely not.
<v Speaker 1>You know what, Nina?
<v Speaker 3>I bet the first person to ever throw pineapple on
<v Speaker 3>pizza was looked at sideways too, okay?
<v Speaker 1>They were, they absolutely were.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, so these pizza kits go on sale today on
<v Speaker 2>their website. So it's a pepperoni pizza with a side
<v Speaker 2>of candy corn. that you're supposed to sprinkle on top
<v Speaker 2>of a pepperoni pizza.
<v Speaker 1>Okay. Yeah. Might have been pre-celebration early right there.
<v Speaker 2>You were talking too soon.
<v Speaker 1>Pepperonis in that, I'm not a huge sweet and savory fan.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, but that's essentially, no matter what though, this would
<v Speaker 2>be sweet and savory with the sauce and the cheese.
<v Speaker 3>I was kind of thinking maybe it was gonna be
<v Speaker 3>like a special candy pizza.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, see that would have maybe have been okay. Maybe
<v Speaker 2>that would have been okay.
<v Speaker 1>I love pizza. I love candy corn. I'm still trying it.
<v Speaker 1>Don't care. Okay.
<v Speaker 2>Well, because you want to try it, you can absolutely
<v Speaker 2>do that. It goes on sale today starting at 11
<v Speaker 2>o'clock Mountain Time on their website. But because we know
<v Speaker 2>it's going to be so rushed for, they're limiting one
<v Speaker 2>pizza kit per order per household.
<v Speaker 1>Okay. I don't know. They'll probably be able to change
<v Speaker 1>that in a couple weeks. I don't know if it's
<v Speaker 1>going to be a sellout.
<v Speaker 2>They're going to be like, please, someone take these.
<v Speaker 1>They're going to just offer it with any other purchase
<v Speaker 1>of a pizza? I don't know. I'd still want to
<v Speaker 1>try it. I like it. Well, the world's largest steam
<v Speaker 1>locomotive is returning to Colorado, and this is cool. It's
<v Speaker 1>on a limited holiday tour. So Union Pacific's big boy,
<v Speaker 1>that's number 4014, it's the massive train they have, will
<v Speaker 1>make its first ever holiday tour with a trip from
<v Speaker 1>Cheyenne to Denver.
<v Speaker 3>So the massive locomotive is set to make a one-day
<v Speaker 3>stop in Denver going on display to the public on
<v Speaker 3>November 21st. That's a Saturday for anybody wanting to go
<v Speaker 3>see that. And the public is also being offered a
<v Speaker 3>very rare chance to buy tickets and ride the same
<v Speaker 3>train from Cheyenne to Denver.
<v Speaker 1>And Nina, get this. Mrs. Claus and Santa Claus are
<v Speaker 1>going to make an appearance on there.
<v Speaker 2>Oh!
<v Speaker 1>I know, I love this.
<v Speaker 3>So those tickets, if you want to go on this trip,
<v Speaker 3>for those who are part of the Union Pacific Railroad Museum,
<v Speaker 3>so you can be like a sign-up early rewards member there,
<v Speaker 3>those tickets will go on sale October 16th, and the
<v Speaker 3>remaining tickets will be on sale Monday, October 19th to
<v Speaker 3>get those tickets to go ride Big Boy.
<v Speaker 1>Now, I've seen Big Boy. It is a hit. huge
<v Speaker 1>train nina this thing is 1.2 million pounds okay and.
<v Speaker 2>I'm talking just the front that's crazy.
<v Speaker 1>Actual coal locomotive right there.
<v Speaker 2>Not even the rest of the train not the.
<v Speaker 1>Cars wow just the choo-choo part of the train yeah
<v Speaker 1>yeah is 1.2 million pounds and to be able to
<v Speaker 1>see this in person is actually quite a treat so
<v Speaker 1>i would say if you can't go ride it from
<v Speaker 1>cheyenne to denver on saturday november 21st go down there
<v Speaker 1>and check it out it's see it it's really neat.
<v Speaker 2>It makes you feel small They don't call it big
<v Speaker 2>boy for nothing.
<v Speaker 1>I feel that way every day, but yes, yes, yes
<v Speaker 1>it does.
<v Speaker 2>All right, the third thing you need to know is
<v Speaker 2>that the Den 10 is up and available at mix100. com.
<v Speaker 2>Josh and I put together a list every week of
<v Speaker 2>things to do every weekend, and this weekend is... It
<v Speaker 2>is filled with so much fall fun for the beginning
<v Speaker 2>of October. We have Cider Days, and Mix 100 is
<v Speaker 2>going to be at Cider Days this Saturday and Sunday.
<v Speaker 2>Cider Days is always so, so much fun to go to.
<v Speaker 2>It's kind of the kickoff. of fall for me, I
<v Speaker 2>feel like.
<v Speaker 1>No, it really is. I agree with you, yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Go and check that out. We have info on Cider
<v Speaker 2>Days at Mix100. com. What else is going on this weekend?
<v Speaker 2>We have a First Friday art show over at Bear Creek.
<v Speaker 2>That's always very fun. That's today, actually, since it's First Friday.
<v Speaker 2>We have a couple of shows going on Saturday and Sunday.
<v Speaker 2>Leslie Jones is going to be at the Paramount Theater
<v Speaker 2>There's all sorts of farmers markets still happening, and those
<v Speaker 2>farmers markets are only going to be here for a
<v Speaker 2>little while longer. So if you haven't been to one yet,
<v Speaker 2>you gotta go. But you can check out all these
<v Speaker 2>things and so much more because there are way more
<v Speaker 2>than 10 things on this list. Don't go check out
<v Speaker 2>the Den 10. It is up at mix100. com. Your celebrity quickie.
<v Speaker 2>While we are in the middle of 90 minutes commercial clean,
<v Speaker 2>it is brought to you by Zero Res, now offering
<v Speaker 2>three rooms cleaned for $ 115 and $ 100 off your air
<v Speaker 2>duct cleaning. Go to zerores.com to book today. So we
<v Speaker 2>really need to talk about Gypsy Rose Blanchard. Have you
<v Speaker 2>seen this? How could you not see it? It's literally everywhere.
<v Speaker 2>So Gypsy's ex-fiance and baby daddy, they do have a
<v Speaker 2>child together. His name is Ken Urker. He has passed
<v Speaker 2>away at the age of 33. So this news broke
<v Speaker 2>last night, and Ken was found unresponsive at his home
<v Speaker 2>in Louisiana, and it was his birthday. So he was
<v Speaker 2>found at his house by Gypsy's brother, who I guess
<v Speaker 2>was just coming to check on him. We're not sure.
<v Speaker 2>But reports are coming in now that a substance was
<v Speaker 2>found with Ken at his home, and it is a
<v Speaker 2>suspected overdose. That's officially what the reports are saying as
<v Speaker 2>of right now. Gypsy said that she texted Ken happy
<v Speaker 2>birthday yesterday. She never got a response. But the weird
<v Speaker 2>part about this, listen, we're all thinking it, right? Because
<v Speaker 2>it involves Gypsy Rose Blanchard. We know her history, everything
<v Speaker 2>that happened with her mom, and she went to jail,
<v Speaker 2>and now this has happened with her fiancé, ex-fiancé. So
<v Speaker 2>we're all thinking it, right? The weird part about this
<v Speaker 2>for me is that Gypsy felt the need yesterday to—
<v Speaker 2>before we even knew that this was a suspected overdose—
<v Speaker 2>She felt the need to say he's been really depressed lately.
<v Speaker 2>He's been cyber bullied pretty badly lately. It's been really
<v Speaker 2>affecting his mental health, all this and that. And I
<v Speaker 2>just feel it's very weird that she brought that up
<v Speaker 2>first thing before we knew anything about what happened.
<v Speaker 3>There's probably two reasons for that. One, she's probably like,
<v Speaker 3>I've already been guilty of a murder one time. I
<v Speaker 3>am telling you right now, it was not me.
<v Speaker 2>It wasn't me.
<v Speaker 1>Or she's trying to create an alibi. I mean, you know.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>Look, I am not, you are innocent until proven guilty. 100%.
<v Speaker 3>I am not saying anything, I'm just saying for someone
<v Speaker 3>who's already done something like this.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's hard.
<v Speaker 1>You're gonna be a suspect.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, exactly, immediately. And all the fingers are gonna be
<v Speaker 2>pointed at you, which is currently what is happening right
<v Speaker 2>now with Gypsy Rose. The internet has been going wild
<v Speaker 2>overnight over this whole thing. I mean, still continuing through today.
<v Speaker 2>Hopefully we get more answers throughout the weekend. Police are
<v Speaker 2>going to be investigating this, obviously, some more to see
<v Speaker 2>what exactly has happened, do a toxicology report, all of that.
<v Speaker 2>But it was just weird that Gypsy felt the need
<v Speaker 2>immediately to be like, oh, well, he was really depressed.
<v Speaker 1>Right off the bat.
<v Speaker 2>Well, what does that have to do with anything?
<v Speaker 1>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>So, I don't know. It's just really weird. We're all
<v Speaker 2>thinking the same thing, but no one is allowed to
<v Speaker 2>say it out loud. But this is very interesting.
<v Speaker 1>Such an odd situation. I cannot wait to see how
<v Speaker 1>this plays out, to be honest.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>Either way, it's going to be very interesting. And also
<v Speaker 3>someone did lose their life here. That is an incredibly
<v Speaker 3>sad story.
<v Speaker 1>Yes. Awful. Only 33 years old.
<v Speaker 2>And he was a father to a little girl that
<v Speaker 2>they share together. So let's be tried our best, you know,
<v Speaker 2>to be respectful and to keep the entire family in
<v Speaker 2>our thoughts.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, well, Riley Green is in the news now. The
<v Speaker 1>new voice coach, he's got a video popping up online
<v Speaker 1>now because of him being on The Voice, and it's
<v Speaker 1>an interesting video, and it's not something I wanted to
<v Speaker 1>see at all. He turned a post-show challenge, Nina, into
<v Speaker 1>an emergency room. So this is from a couple years ago.
<v Speaker 1>While performing at the Floribama Club, The Florida-Alabama state line, Green,
<v Speaker 1>accepted a friendly arm wrestling challenge from someone who was
<v Speaker 1>at the concert, okay? Okay. He was doing this.
<v Speaker 3>Apparently, he defeated a few more guys, and this big, strong,
<v Speaker 3>jacked guy came up and was like, I'd like to
<v Speaker 3>arm wrestle you, Riley Green.
<v Speaker 2>Let's go.
<v Speaker 1>He was like, all right, let's do it.
<v Speaker 3>So he goes, in quotes, some guy was like, hey,
<v Speaker 3>let's arm wrestle. And he was like, all right, sounds good.
<v Speaker 3>I will oblige you. The crowd eventually all gathered around
<v Speaker 3>him and brought their strongest challenger out. And it was
<v Speaker 3>a big guy, he said. And so Green was like, okay,
<v Speaker 3>let's start doing this. I want to arm wrestle you
<v Speaker 3>as well. Riley's a jacked guy as well.
<v Speaker 2>He's like, let's go.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely.
<v Speaker 3>So he starts to arm wrestle this guy and almost
<v Speaker 3>immediately the man's arm buckles underneath the stress and snapped
<v Speaker 3>his arm in half. He snapped it in half. He
<v Speaker 3>had his arm laid over the table. An ambulance came
<v Speaker 3>and got him. He goes, I felt really horrible about
<v Speaker 3>it and asked about the whole incident and if this
<v Speaker 3>man was a fan.
<v Speaker 1>Riley replied, I don't know, probably not anymore.
<v Speaker 2>Probably not anymore, like pay my hospital bills and maybe.
<v Speaker 3>Nina, I did not mean to stumble upon this video,
<v Speaker 3>but when I say his arm snapped in half.
<v Speaker 2>So his arm broke, he had a broken arm.
<v Speaker 1>Riley broke his arm, snapped it in half like a toothpick.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, no.
<v Speaker 3>It was disgusting, but also kind of a rare bragging
<v Speaker 3>point for Riley Greene. Like, not only am I a
<v Speaker 3>great singer, I'm so strong that I can break people's arms.
<v Speaker 2>Like, check out this guy. And he was buff, too.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, ridiculous.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, that's so ee, ee, ee.
<v Speaker 1>Yucky! Yes.
<v Speaker 2>And I'm still sad that Jelly Roll and Bunny XO
<v Speaker 2>are getting divorced, but it is moving along, and so
<v Speaker 2>are they. They just listed their shared Nashville home for
<v Speaker 2>$ 7 million today. This was the house that they primarily
<v Speaker 2>stayed in, so it truly is the end of an era.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, their divorce was finalized in July. So technically
<v Speaker 2>the era is over already.
<v Speaker 1>I think they're both dating, aren't they?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, they're both already moved on.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, Bunny's getting with like a 24-year-old. That's what I've heard.
<v Speaker 2>I think he's like an influencer, I think.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I'm like, okay, girl, get it, whatever.
<v Speaker 2>Exactly. But they say the split was a mutual decision.
<v Speaker 2>So they are both dating separately. They handled everything privately
<v Speaker 2>with the divorce. But part of that was including, obviously,
<v Speaker 2>getting rid of their homes, their shared assets and things
<v Speaker 2>like that. but a $ 7 million price tag if anyone's
<v Speaker 2>house shopping in Nashville.
<v Speaker 1>Pour them, 3.5 each.
<v Speaker 2>I know, right? Exactly. Three things you need to know
<v Speaker 2>before you go into the office today, like cell phones.
<v Speaker 2>There is a movement in a lot of restaurants to
<v Speaker 2>ban cell phones at the table, much like the old
<v Speaker 2>non-smoking sections that used to be around. So this is
<v Speaker 2>the new version of that. It's clever. Yeah, they're offering
<v Speaker 2>things like a free bottle of wine, free ice cream.
<v Speaker 2>A percentage off of your check if you do not
<v Speaker 2>have your phone at the table. I really like this movement,
<v Speaker 2>but yeah, no cell phones while sitting down at restaurants
<v Speaker 2>is becoming more and more popular, so I can't wait
<v Speaker 2>to see it more in Denver.
<v Speaker 1>No, I'm into it. Put the phone down and talk
<v Speaker 1>to the people across the table from you. Totally. That
<v Speaker 1>is awesome. All right, Nina, when we talk about smell
<v Speaker 1>of cities usually, it's.
<v Speaker 3>Not a compliment, right? People talk about how incredibly bad
<v Speaker 3>cities smell.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>Well, a new study has just shown that there are
<v Speaker 3>the best smelling cities that have come out. They smell
<v Speaker 3>like local candy stores or bakeries or whatever around the city,
<v Speaker 3>all right?
<v Speaker 1>Now, number one was Boston. However, Denver did make the
<v Speaker 1>top ten. We are number seven best smelling city in America, actually.
<v Speaker 2>All right. It's because of all the trees and the
<v Speaker 2>mountain air, everything like that, right?
<v Speaker 1>You'd think so.
<v Speaker 3>And I think just being up higher with the thinner atmosphere,
<v Speaker 3>we have cleaner air.
<v Speaker 1>Like, genuinely, that's a thing. Smog does not stay as long,
<v Speaker 1>I understand. Okay.
<v Speaker 3>Denver can have the brown cloud. But hey, we are
<v Speaker 3>still top 10 in cleanest cities. Some of the worst
<v Speaker 3>ones overall, number one. was Jacksonville, Florida, followed by Oklahoma City.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, okay. I don't know.
<v Speaker 3>I can understand Jacksonville. You always hear about Florida men
<v Speaker 3>and women down there, so I get that. But hey,
<v Speaker 3>we're not number one in the worst smelling cities.
<v Speaker 2>That's great. I will definitely take that. All right. And DoorDash,
<v Speaker 2>they're trying to get you your food faster with drone delivery.
<v Speaker 2>So this is being tested right now in Northern California,
<v Speaker 2>but they say 80% of orders are light enough to
<v Speaker 2>be carried by drone and Their initial tests show delivery
<v Speaker 2>times from the restaurant to your door in under five minutes.
<v Speaker 2>If it is flown through the air by drone and
<v Speaker 2>just dropped down. It has this little, like, table that
<v Speaker 2>retracts and drops this box. But, yeah, you can't order
<v Speaker 2>too much. You cannot be ordering for, like, a family
<v Speaker 2>of five, unfortunately. It's going to be too heavy for
<v Speaker 2>the drone, so it's lighter orders, but it's... Being tested
<v Speaker 2>by DoorDash, it.
<v Speaker 1>Could be coming soon.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, why not?
<v Speaker 1>Walmart does it. I understand. Amazon does it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah.
<v Speaker 1>We can't stop it.
<v Speaker 2>No, drones all over the air. Good lord. Good morning
<v Speaker 2>from Denver's Morning Show with Nina and Josh on Mix 100.
<v Speaker 2>And next weekend is the Elitch Gardens Pet Parade, which
<v Speaker 2>is exciting. It's part of Fright Fest every year. But
<v Speaker 2>this is the first year that Mix 100 is going
<v Speaker 2>to be part of it. So that happens next Saturday,
<v Speaker 2>October 10th from noon until 3. And part of that
<v Speaker 2>is going to be a costume contest for all the
<v Speaker 2>pets that come through Elitch Gardens that day. So there's
<v Speaker 2>going to be prizes and all sorts of stuff. I
<v Speaker 2>was asked to be a judge. And while I am
<v Speaker 2>very excited about it, I was also asked, like, hey,
<v Speaker 2>it would be fun if you brought your dog. Of course. Now,
<v Speaker 2>there's only one dog that I can bring because the
<v Speaker 2>other one doesn't really love other dogs. You know what
<v Speaker 2>I mean?
<v Speaker 1>He's going to eat the other ones?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, one of those situations.
<v Speaker 1>That's all right. Okay, okay.
<v Speaker 2>So he's going to stay home, but my other dog
<v Speaker 2>is friendly with other pups and kids and people. So
<v Speaker 2>I'm going to bring him. And I'm excited to bring him.
<v Speaker 2>His name is Bonzo. And he's a Red Heeler mix.
<v Speaker 2>But I have been trying to figure out, since I'm
<v Speaker 2>going to bring him, I have to bring him in
<v Speaker 2>a costume. Of course. Obviously. And to keep it fair,
<v Speaker 2>I won't enter him in the costume contest, but.
<v Speaker 1>That would be a bias. All right, that's a conflict
<v Speaker 1>of interest right there.
<v Speaker 2>Right, exactly. But I still wanted to dress him up
<v Speaker 2>in a costume. And so I went through my Halloween
<v Speaker 2>bin yesterday. I mean, my living room is a mess.
<v Speaker 2>It's just... pumpkins everywhere. But I have a couple of
<v Speaker 2>dog costumes from the years. And I was like, let
<v Speaker 2>me see what I have to see if we want
<v Speaker 2>to reuse something this year. So one of his costumes,
<v Speaker 2>I was so sad. He outgrew it. And I'm like, oh,
<v Speaker 2>my guy is getting so big.
<v Speaker 1>Which one was that, do you remember? It was a.
<v Speaker 2>Triceratops dinosaur one.
<v Speaker 1>That's adorable.
<v Speaker 2>Which would have been so cute. That's perfect. But it
<v Speaker 2>does not fit him anymore. So I can't use that one.
<v Speaker 2>The other one that I have is a taco toy.
<v Speaker 1>Which is fun. That's freaking cute. Right.
<v Speaker 2>It's like a yellow taco shell. He'll be a little
<v Speaker 2>taco dog. Uh, or I have a shark costume, which
<v Speaker 2>is pretty cool. It has the fins and everything, but
<v Speaker 2>it is a little bit big for him and the
<v Speaker 2>fins have like stuffing in it. So it's kind of weighted.
<v Speaker 1>It's going to flop around and it kind of is.
<v Speaker 2>Going to like fall off of him. So I'm like,
<v Speaker 2>I could use the taco, but then I wanted to
<v Speaker 2>do kind of like a matching costume with him. I
<v Speaker 2>was like, what do I dress up as?
<v Speaker 1>Okay, so that was my question. Are you going to
<v Speaker 1>be dressing up for this as well?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, well, yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I want to get into the spirit. Girl, we got options.
<v Speaker 1>We got options for days then, right?
<v Speaker 2>That's the thing. I think I'm going to have to
<v Speaker 2>either go to Spirit Halloween, spend a million dollars on.
<v Speaker 1>A costume, or come up with something.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, or maybe thrift shop for one. They have a
<v Speaker 2>lot of great costumes, dog costumes at thrift shops too.
<v Speaker 1>You know what would be easy?
<v Speaker 3>One thing that just comes to my mind right away.
<v Speaker 3>I mean, you could make him thing one, you thing
<v Speaker 3>two from Dr. Seuss.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, that's cute.
<v Speaker 3>All you need is a red vest, essentially, and then
<v Speaker 3>just a little circle that says thing one and two
<v Speaker 3>on there.
<v Speaker 2>Thing one, thing two.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, that's good. That could do that.
<v Speaker 2>But yes, that's exactly what I'm looking for, Josh. I'm
<v Speaker 2>looking for help figuring out what I could dress up
<v Speaker 2>as along with my dog. So I need those ideas.
<v Speaker 2>If you have any for me, please text us, 303-691-1MIX.
<v Speaker 2>I am so desperate. to figure this out, because it's
<v Speaker 2>one week from tomorrow. So I don't have that much time.
<v Speaker 1>That is sneaking up.
<v Speaker 2>It is one week from tomorrow to get two costumes,
<v Speaker 2>one for him, one for me.
<v Speaker 3>Well, I like the ideas of matching, first of all.
<v Speaker 3>That's a really good one. You guys could go as
<v Speaker 3>a couple of s'mores, and I feel like that would
<v Speaker 3>be really easy. Two pieces of cardboard on either side
<v Speaker 3>of you and maybe make it look, maybe wear a white, look,
<v Speaker 3>white shirt and two pieces of cardboard.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, that could be fun.
<v Speaker 1>And then if you wanted to, something kind of looking
<v Speaker 1>like chocolate for both of y'all. Uh-huh, uh-huh. That could
<v Speaker 1>be easy.
<v Speaker 3>I mean, I don't know. There's ones that you could
<v Speaker 3>go to. I always see the animal costumes. The Chucky
<v Speaker 3>one is famous.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I was so sad that his dinosaur costume didn't
<v Speaker 2>fit him anymore because then I could dress up as
<v Speaker 2>like a Jurassic Park ranger with the dinosaur costume. Oh, shoot.
<v Speaker 2>I know, but it doesn't fit him anymore. I can't
<v Speaker 2>use it. There's no way.
<v Speaker 1>Want to just get a new one? That would be
<v Speaker 1>a really good one.
<v Speaker 2>It would be really cute.
<v Speaker 1>I like that. What are the other ones you could do?
<v Speaker 1>There's always a Harry Potter one. I know you could
<v Speaker 1>do that. He could be a little wizard with you.
<v Speaker 1>That's kind of cute.
<v Speaker 2>He could be Harry Potter. I could go as Hermione.
<v Speaker 2>I have a red wig.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, my gosh. Okay.
<v Speaker 2>Right?
<v Speaker 1>Something. That could totally be good. You could also be...
<v Speaker 1>This would be cute. There's a UPS.
<v Speaker 3>you're the parcel delivery person, and then your dog is
<v Speaker 3>the package.
<v Speaker 1>That's kind of cute.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, that would be cute.
<v Speaker 1>That one's not bad, I like that.
<v Speaker 2>My arm's gonna fall off holding him the whole time, though,
<v Speaker 2>because he outgrew that costume, I'm telling you.
<v Speaker 1>That's true, he's big. He's heavy. He ain't no lap dog.
