<v Speaker 1>You're waking up to Denver's Morning.
<v Speaker 2>Show with Nina and Josh, Mix 100.
<v Speaker 3>Good morning from Denver's Morning Show with Nina and Josh
<v Speaker 3>on Mix 100.
<v Speaker 2>Josh, we had quite the day yesterday.
<v Speaker 1>It was busy, wasn't it?
<v Speaker 2>I know, it really was. We had a lot of fun.
<v Speaker 3>Though, over there at Zig Zag Burgers in the DTC.
<v Speaker 3>We went there for a big celebration to give away
<v Speaker 3>our final pair of tickets to go see Ella Langley
<v Speaker 3>at Red Rocks last night.
<v Speaker 1>Crazy. And it was wild.
<v Speaker 4>Like, the amount of people that showed up, how fun
<v Speaker 4>it was to meet everybody, talk with everybody as much
<v Speaker 4>as we could, enjoy really, really good food.
<v Speaker 3>It was good.
<v Speaker 1>And then, like.
<v Speaker 4>eventually do the drawing, and it was nerve-wracking, for me
<v Speaker 4>at least, because I was like, there's so many people here,
<v Speaker 4>and to a degree, they're going to be disappointed because
<v Speaker 4>they're not going to win the ticket, and I was like,
<v Speaker 4>oh my goodness, but one person's going to win. It
<v Speaker 4>was so much going on, and it was so much fun,
<v Speaker 4>and honestly, I really want to do it again.
<v Speaker 1>At some point.
<v Speaker 2>I know, seriously.
<v Speaker 3>I mean, I will say, I was a little nervous
<v Speaker 3>about it, and I'm like, oh man, are two people
<v Speaker 3>going to show up? But no, y'all showed up and
<v Speaker 3>showed out. It was so fun.
<v Speaker 1>Good.
<v Speaker 3>Um, and it was just so good to meet people
<v Speaker 3>and see familiar faces, see not familiar faces, but like, Oh, Hey,
<v Speaker 3>you've texted in before I've seen, or I've seen your texts.
<v Speaker 3>We've chatted before online. Good to meet you in person finally.
<v Speaker 3>So it was just a really cool event that we
<v Speaker 3>did yesterday. And thank you so much to zigzag burgers
<v Speaker 3>for hosting that event for us and letting us bombard
<v Speaker 3>your space.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, no, you guys absolutely rocked it. I, I, was
<v Speaker 4>talking with some of the bar staff after everything, after
<v Speaker 4>the fact. And they were like, we walked in at
<v Speaker 4>around 11, you know, and they were like, all of
<v Speaker 4>a sudden this massive rush came and they're like, what
<v Speaker 4>is happening?
<v Speaker 1>Why are people here? What's going on? But they loved it.
<v Speaker 1>They said it was so much fun.
<v Speaker 4>It was cool to see everybody there get excited towards
<v Speaker 4>the end around 1 p.m. when everybody was cheering and
<v Speaker 4>getting ready for the drawing and all that. And it
<v Speaker 4>was just a fun event. And like we even did
<v Speaker 4>arts and crafts like you. You had brought beads for
<v Speaker 4>bracelets and it was so cute to see the little
<v Speaker 4>kids kind of get involved with this.
<v Speaker 1>So they weren't just.
<v Speaker 4>Waiting around, kind of twiddling their thumbs, waiting for the
<v Speaker 4>drawing and stuff, because they don't really care about that.
<v Speaker 1>They don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, they're not going to the concert, probably.
<v Speaker 1>No, they're the ones getting dragged around to the restaurant.
<v Speaker 4>And so it was just fun to be interactive with
<v Speaker 4>everybody and give away some more prizes, like T-shirts and
<v Speaker 4>sunglasses and stuff. And just to interact with... you guys
<v Speaker 4>who showed up there. Uh, it just got me pumped.
<v Speaker 4>Like it, it really made my day yesterday.
<v Speaker 3>Same here. And thank you so much for showing up.
<v Speaker 3>And once again, for that entire event at zigzag Instagram.
<v Speaker 2>Found out first.
<v Speaker 3>So if you're not following us online, that is sometimes
<v Speaker 3>where we will announce things before anywhere else.
<v Speaker 2>So make sure that you're following us. We're on Facebook.
<v Speaker 2>We're on Instagram. We're even on Tik TOK at mix
<v Speaker 2>100 Denver.
<v Speaker 3>So Make sure you do that to stay up to date.
<v Speaker 3>So Ella Langley took over Red Rocks yesterday, and I've
<v Speaker 3>seen the videos. I'm so stinking jealous of everyone who
<v Speaker 3>was able to go.
<v Speaker 2>Keep those videos coming. I mean, really, I'm living vicariously
<v Speaker 2>through you.
<v Speaker 1>We both are.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, exactly. Big Rob got to go, though.
<v Speaker 4>I know.
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to talk about it.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, okay. All is good in girl world because it
<v Speaker 3>seems like Britney Spears is doing okay right now. So
<v Speaker 3>I just want to put that out there.
<v Speaker 1>Everybody's fine. We're fine.
<v Speaker 3>Everyone's fine. And Britney is fine. So that means we're good.
<v Speaker 3>But yeah, Britney Spears, she spent some time with her
<v Speaker 3>sons at Dollywood in Tennessee. And it's kind of cool
<v Speaker 3>that she was sharing her day with her sons, just
<v Speaker 3>having fun at Dollywood.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know if you've ever been to Dollywood before, Josh.
<v Speaker 1>I haven't, no.
<v Speaker 2>It truly is a really beautiful place.
<v Speaker 3>So my mom actually retired and lives down in Tennessee,
<v Speaker 3>like 40 minutes away from Dollywood. My mom goes there
<v Speaker 3>multiple times a month. She is at Dollywood all the time.
<v Speaker 1>I love it. Do you just retire when you live
<v Speaker 1>in Tennessee and just go to Dollywood?
<v Speaker 2>And you just go to Dollywood, yes.
<v Speaker 1>It's like the adult happiest place on earth.
<v Speaker 3>No, it really is. And they give out this really
<v Speaker 3>good bread every month. It's part of your membership for
<v Speaker 3>the year or whatever. You literally get, you go once
<v Speaker 3>a month and you get these loaves of bread.
<v Speaker 1>Dolly bread. It is.
<v Speaker 3>It's like this honey cinnamon bread. It's so good.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, yum.
<v Speaker 3>Yes.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, hold on. I'm in on that. I'm in on that.
<v Speaker 3>Now you're excited.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>But anyway, Britney Spears, she was sharing her day on
<v Speaker 3>her stories with everyone over there at Dollywood. All smiles,
<v Speaker 3>having fun. Her boys were having fun. Sean Preston and
<v Speaker 3>Jaden James, which we know they mean so much to
<v Speaker 3>Britney Spears. And they haven't always had the best relationship.
<v Speaker 3>But now that the boys are older, they're kind of
<v Speaker 3>more grown up. They're living their own lives. And now
<v Speaker 3>they're kind of repairing that relationship with their mom. And
<v Speaker 3>we love to see that. And it seems like Brittany
<v Speaker 3>is in a good place. And that just makes me happy.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, we love a good comeback story. That's awesome. So
<v Speaker 1>hats off to her and her family.
<v Speaker 3>Yes.
<v Speaker 4>Well, this is kind of a bummer news. Shia LaBeouf
<v Speaker 4>looks like he's going to be getting a divorce. His wife,
<v Speaker 4>Mia Goth, has filed for that divorce recently. citing irreconcilable differences.
<v Speaker 4>And I kind of understand this. TMZ does report that
<v Speaker 4>it follows kind of LaBeouf's wild 2026. Earlier in February
<v Speaker 4>around that time, I believe, he was arrested in New
<v Speaker 4>Orleans just for literally going crazy.
<v Speaker 1>It was like public intoxication charges as well as.
<v Speaker 2>I think he got into a fight.
<v Speaker 1>Kind of yelling horrible things at someone. Yeah. So it
<v Speaker 1>was not good.
<v Speaker 4>Goth is seeking primary and physical custody of their four-year-old daughter.
<v Speaker 1>She requested that the court also.
<v Speaker 4>Terminate his ability to award spousal support to either party.
<v Speaker 4>They actually met on a set of a movie called Nymphomaniac,
<v Speaker 4>which is kind of crazy. Got married in 2016, and
<v Speaker 4>then LaBeouf previously acknowledged the relationships, and he said, I
<v Speaker 4>failed my marriage, so I had to own up with that.
<v Speaker 4>I like Shia LaBeouf, so I'm kind of bummed about this.
<v Speaker 4>I go all the way back to the Even Steven days.
<v Speaker 4>I really liked him. That was kind of my young
<v Speaker 4>childhood show. To Transformers, I loved him in those movies,
<v Speaker 4>so This is a bummer, but it's kind of fitting
<v Speaker 4>and not very surprising to me.
<v Speaker 1>He's been very erratic as of late.
<v Speaker 3>He has. And actually, Shia and Mia, his soon-to-be ex-wife,
<v Speaker 3>they've been separated now for about a year. So the
<v Speaker 3>fact that this divorce isn't necessarily a surprise. It was
<v Speaker 3>just kind of a long time coming. But yeah, like
<v Speaker 3>you said, it is just unfortunate to watch someone spiral.
<v Speaker 3>Especially when that person has essentially been in our lives.
<v Speaker 3>We've seen him on TV since.
<v Speaker 2>We were kids.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, yeah.
<v Speaker 4>Essentially my entire life. So it is a bummer because
<v Speaker 4>I kind of grew up with him, you know. whether
<v Speaker 4>it's on TV shows or movies. So it is a
<v Speaker 4>bummer to see. And hopefully he gets kind of the
<v Speaker 4>help that he needs.
<v Speaker 3>We hope so. We really do hope to see that. Josh,
<v Speaker 3>yesterday at our event, we were over there at Zig
<v Speaker 3>Zag Burgers. And as we were wrapping things up, because
<v Speaker 3>it was a great event, so much fun.
<v Speaker 2>Thank you to everyone who came on by.
<v Speaker 3>As we're wrapping things up, I noticed you kind of
<v Speaker 3>were hanging back a little bit. And as I was leaving,
<v Speaker 3>I go and I look at the bar, and you're
<v Speaker 3>sitting at the bar with a woman.
<v Speaker 1>I am, yes.
<v Speaker 3>And having a drink and laughing and giggling and having
<v Speaker 3>a good time.
<v Speaker 2>And I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa, that's not Princess Pilot.
<v Speaker 1>It was not.
<v Speaker 4>Uh-uh. No, and it was a grand old time, I
<v Speaker 4>have to say. No, before she gets mad at me,
<v Speaker 4>Princess Pilot. No, we have a very longtime listener named Rose.
<v Speaker 4>who shows up and she is just the sweetest lady.
<v Speaker 1>I love her.
<v Speaker 4>She and I have had a great friendship over the years,
<v Speaker 4>talking back and forth at different events and even texting
<v Speaker 4>back and forth on the text line.
<v Speaker 1>We take shots at each other. We make jokes. She
<v Speaker 1>is just a delight.
<v Speaker 4>She and I have the same type of humor as well.
<v Speaker 4>And so I know that I can say certain things
<v Speaker 4>and she can jab me back.
<v Speaker 1>And it's just funny. I love her for that. And
<v Speaker 1>I haven't been able to see her for a while.
<v Speaker 4>And so when I found out that she was going
<v Speaker 4>to come down here Um, and, and talk with us
<v Speaker 4>and see us. And she talked with you for a
<v Speaker 4>little bit as well.
<v Speaker 3>It was so good to meet her.
<v Speaker 1>It was just so much fun. I said, Hey, you
<v Speaker 1>know what?
<v Speaker 4>If you stick around, um, I will grab, I'll grab
<v Speaker 4>a drink with you and we can just kind of
<v Speaker 4>catch up. And she was like, absolutely. So she stuck
<v Speaker 4>around until the end of the event. And you're right
<v Speaker 4>at the end of the event, I went over, I
<v Speaker 4>made a beeline to the bar. She had a beer
<v Speaker 4>waiting for me.
<v Speaker 1>It was awesome. It was so great. So shout out
<v Speaker 1>to Rose for that.
<v Speaker 4>But we just caught up and talked and had, I mean,
<v Speaker 4>it seriously lasted for maybe an hour and a half
<v Speaker 4>after the event. And we just kept talking. And then
<v Speaker 4>I knew I had to go home. And she started saying, hey,
<v Speaker 4>let's get some shots. And I was like, okay, hold on.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, no. I was like.
<v Speaker 4>It's 2.30 in the afternoon. I don't know if we
<v Speaker 4>should be doing that right now.
<v Speaker 3>On a Wednesday.
<v Speaker 1>On a Wednesday of all things.
<v Speaker 4>I'm like, you're going to make me go to bed
<v Speaker 4>at 4.30 today and just sleep through the night. But
<v Speaker 4>it's just, yeah, the beautiful thing about the job that
<v Speaker 4>we get to do is we really do get to
<v Speaker 4>connect with other people's lives. I mean, we share so
<v Speaker 4>much of our lives already that when you get to
<v Speaker 4>do these events and you kind of get to learn
<v Speaker 4>about other people's lives and kind of get a view
<v Speaker 4>into who they are as people, you know?
<v Speaker 1>Totally. It's a beautiful thing. The connection. The connection's amazing. Yeah.
<v Speaker 4>And I've been able to do that with Rose over
<v Speaker 4>the years now, so it was fantastic to meet up
<v Speaker 4>with her, fantastic to see her, and she's just a riot. Like,
<v Speaker 4>she had me laughing so hard, I almost spit my
<v Speaker 4>drink out, so it was awesome.
<v Speaker 3>I love that.
<v Speaker 2>Wait, so she brought up shots.
<v Speaker 3>Did you guys actually do shots?
<v Speaker 1>We did one.
<v Speaker 4>Oh!
<v Speaker 1>Nina, after the first one, I was like, I gotta
<v Speaker 1>go home.
<v Speaker 3>You're like, okay, we're done.
<v Speaker 4>This is not good. Luckily, I had just eaten, so
<v Speaker 4>I was fine. But yeah, I couldn't get away without
<v Speaker 4>doing one. So we did one, and then I was like, hi, Rose,
<v Speaker 4>I love you, but I gotta go home. Otherwise, we're
<v Speaker 4>gonna end up at like, the middle of Denver at 6.30
<v Speaker 4>and I'm gonna need a ride home.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm gonna be calling Nina and saying, Nina, can
<v Speaker 1>you come get me?
<v Speaker 2>Oh my gosh, imagine.
<v Speaker 3>I can't wait for the day where, you know, you
<v Speaker 3>lose track of time one time. It's a random Tuesday, Wednesday.
<v Speaker 2>You know what, Josh?
<v Speaker 3>You can call me anytime. I've got your back always.
<v Speaker 1>Thank God. I was like, I was about to. I
<v Speaker 1>was like, Nina, come back.
<v Speaker 3>Oh my goodness. No, thank you, Rose. And thank you
<v Speaker 3>to everyone who came out to Zig Zag Burgers yesterday.
<v Speaker 3>We had such a blast giving out those Ella Langley tickets.
<v Speaker 3>We talked about it a little bit earlier, but yeah,
<v Speaker 3>it was so nerve wracking. Being the one to pull
<v Speaker 3>the single slip of paper out of.
<v Speaker 1>You were like shaking.
<v Speaker 3>No, seriously.
<v Speaker 2>I was like, oh my gosh. Because everyone's just very
<v Speaker 2>intensely staring.
<v Speaker 4>I mean, everybody in the building. I mean, you were
<v Speaker 4>on the mic, so you have people's attention. But when
<v Speaker 4>they're looking at you like... Pick my name. Pick my name. Right.
<v Speaker 3>And they're all making sure, like, I'm not cheating or anything.
<v Speaker 3>I have, like, a sheet of paper in my hand beforehand.
<v Speaker 1>Of course.
<v Speaker 3>You know, all of it.
<v Speaker 2>And it was just so nerve-wracking. But we finally did it.
<v Speaker 3>So congratulations to Antoinette, who got to go to the
<v Speaker 3>show yesterday.
<v Speaker 4>Which, by the way, she brought her dog with her yesterday.
<v Speaker 4>It was adorable. Like, it was just so cute. It
<v Speaker 4>was one of, like, the little lap dogs. And so
<v Speaker 4>it was just in her purse. And it was so well-behaved.
<v Speaker 4>First of all, she was such a good little pooch.
<v Speaker 3>For the whole time, except for the end. Except for
<v Speaker 3>the very end, that dog did not.
<v Speaker 1>When she tried to attack me and kill me.
<v Speaker 2>She didn't like you, Josh.
<v Speaker 1>It was so funny.
<v Speaker 4>I was like, man, this dog probably has great taste
<v Speaker 4>in men because she didn't like me. She, all of
<v Speaker 4>a sudden, like, we wanted to get a picture with Antoinette, right?
<v Speaker 1>Obviously we did.
<v Speaker 4>And then she, I'm on the side of the dog,
<v Speaker 4>just starts yapping at me.
<v Speaker 1>I had to switch sides. Yeah. I was like, Nina,
<v Speaker 1>we got to switch sides.
<v Speaker 3>For our photo, we switched sides because the dog was
<v Speaker 3>not feeling you, Josh.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what I did.
<v Speaker 2>I'm so sorry.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. I'm so sad.
<v Speaker 3>You did something, something to that dog.
<v Speaker 2>The dog just didn't have a good vibe about you
<v Speaker 2>for that day.
<v Speaker 1>I love her, so.
<v Speaker 4>Aww.
<v Speaker 2>But you're a good guy, Josh, okay? Don't listen to
<v Speaker 2>the dog.
<v Speaker 3>It's okay.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, thanks.
<v Speaker 2>We'll get through this together.
<v Speaker 3>Three things you need to know before you go into
<v Speaker 3>the office today. including downtown Littleton. They are next in
<v Speaker 3>line for a little makeover. Of course, they are trying
<v Speaker 3>to make sure that they assure all of the townspeople
<v Speaker 3>that they're going to keep that historic charm of downtown Littleton.
<v Speaker 3>Don't worry, they're not gonna put in a bunch of
<v Speaker 3>square gray buildings, you know the ones, all.
<v Speaker 2>The apartments that have been popping up.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, yeah.
<v Speaker 4>Exactly.
<v Speaker 3>So they definitely are trying to keep the historic charm
<v Speaker 3>of downtown Littleton top of mind. So they're trying to
<v Speaker 3>just assure everyone, like, we're not going to ruin it.
<v Speaker 2>We promise. At least they're going to try.
<v Speaker 1>I was like, we'll see. We'll see once everything's built. Yes.
<v Speaker 3>But they did get $ 32. 6 million in funding. That majority
<v Speaker 3>of that is going towards a remodel. So the thing is, though,
<v Speaker 3>we're going to have to wait a little bit because
<v Speaker 3>construction is not set to start until 2028. But until then,
<v Speaker 3>you know, maybe we will see some concepts, some Blueprints,
<v Speaker 3>a couple of the planning, but a big chunk of
<v Speaker 3>that is actually going to be trees because a lot
<v Speaker 3>of the trees in Littleton died because of a disease
<v Speaker 3>that went through, killed off a lot of the trees.
<v Speaker 3>So a big chunk of that funding is actually going
<v Speaker 3>to be to put in trees.
<v Speaker 1>Well, I love that. That's a good use of the
<v Speaker 1>money there.
<v Speaker 2>We need that, honestly.
<v Speaker 3>But they're also going to be putting in more parking,
<v Speaker 3>some safety measures for bikers and walkers, just making it
<v Speaker 3>more pedestrian friendly. So yeah, downtown Littleton in the next
<v Speaker 3>couple of years, going to be getting themselves.
<v Speaker 2>A little makeover.
<v Speaker 4>Well, I, for one, love downtown Littleton. Sometimes I even
<v Speaker 4>prefer it to going out to Denver. It's just like
<v Speaker 4>a smaller Denver, essentially. You can go to the bars
<v Speaker 4>with your friends. You can hit Main Street.
<v Speaker 1>They have good food options.
<v Speaker 2>There's a lot of great spots.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah.
<v Speaker 4>So- Good for them. That makes me excited to go
<v Speaker 4>see in the next couple of years. Well, this is
<v Speaker 4>exciting news for pretty much everybody who does not have
<v Speaker 4>a passport yet. It's about to become much easier to
<v Speaker 4>get it for the first time in 2027. So just
<v Speaker 4>a few months from now, it is going to become
<v Speaker 4>a fully online process for first time users who want
<v Speaker 4>to get their passport. Now, many times when you first
<v Speaker 4>get your passport, you have to have an in-person appointment.
<v Speaker 4>You have to go and get help taking that photo.
<v Speaker 4>It involves a bunch of very inconvenient things, essentially, and
<v Speaker 4>a lot of money. So under the new plan change,
<v Speaker 4>applicants will be able to just go to America.gov and
<v Speaker 4>go through the entire process without having to make any
<v Speaker 4>single trip at all. The online applicants will be allowed
<v Speaker 4>to fill out the required forms, take the passport photo
<v Speaker 4>with your iPhone, essentially, which is so much better, and
<v Speaker 4>then also pay securely online, really expediting this whole process,
<v Speaker 4>making it a lot easier to Luke Ortega of the U.S.
<v Speaker 4>State Department says the big change now is if you
<v Speaker 4>don't have a passport, we just want to make your
<v Speaker 4>life a lot easier.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, thank you.
<v Speaker 1>I love that because the process of getting one is
<v Speaker 1>kind of a pain in the butt.
<v Speaker 3>It's annoying. And like half the time you have to
<v Speaker 3>do it at the post office or somewhere really official. Yep.
<v Speaker 2>And like they don't want to do it either.
<v Speaker 3>You have to schedule out these appointments and then half
<v Speaker 3>the time you're just like waiting around anyway because they
<v Speaker 3>forgot about it or whatever.
<v Speaker 2>Well, it takes months essentially.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah. So hopefully this really makes that quicker.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>And I will say, thank goodness they're letting you take
<v Speaker 3>iPhone photos because I hated having to go to like
<v Speaker 3>the pharmacy or the convenience store or whatever one to
<v Speaker 3>take a photo of And like half the time, that
<v Speaker 3>photo is so bad.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and then you're like, can I just redo it?
<v Speaker 1>And they're like, nope, here you go, ma'am. You're like, okay.
<v Speaker 3>I'm like, okay, I paid $ 20 for this.
<v Speaker 1>For the next 10 years of my life, I get
<v Speaker 1>to look like crap.
<v Speaker 3>Right, yes.
<v Speaker 1>So that's good news.
<v Speaker 3>Thank goodness.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, 2027 is when it's going to happen.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, cool.
<v Speaker 3>And it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so I wanted
<v Speaker 3>to shine a spotlight on Neidi Lucha Sola. This is
<v Speaker 3>also called No Woman Fights Alone. This is a Denver
<v Speaker 3>nonprofit organization And it's bringing patients and survivors together, uplifting
<v Speaker 3>their spirits with makeovers. So they're hosting an event this
<v Speaker 3>Saturday for women who are going through sicknesses right now.
<v Speaker 3>Volunteers are providing makeup kits, makeovers, and free wigs in
<v Speaker 3>many styles and colors. So whether a woman is dealing
<v Speaker 3>with breast cancer or any type of cancer or any sickness,
<v Speaker 3>they are more than welcome to come and receive a service.
<v Speaker 3>That is going on this Saturday. It starts at 11 a.m.
<v Speaker 3>at the Bruce Schroffel Auditorium at UC Health in Aurora.
<v Speaker 3>So it's something that's just really, really cool, and everything
<v Speaker 3>is free.
<v Speaker 1>That's beautiful. That's a beautiful thing that people do.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, and you're going through it, and, you know... chemo
<v Speaker 3>it just takes a lot out of you and if
<v Speaker 3>you are losing your hair for the first time it
<v Speaker 3>can just really affect you in a negative way absolutely
<v Speaker 3>and you may not even realize how much it affects
<v Speaker 3>you until the first time you put on that wig
<v Speaker 3>and you feel like yourself again.
<v Speaker 4>You feel beautiful again you know it's it's you have
<v Speaker 4>your confidence back especially because Losing your hair in any
<v Speaker 4>type of form like that, especially when you're going through
<v Speaker 4>something like that.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, yeah. I can't imagine.
<v Speaker 4>And so what they're doing here, especially with all those volunteers,
<v Speaker 4>like God bless those volunteers for doing the Lord's work.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, really, like that is an amazing thing that
<v Speaker 1>they're doing right there. And it being free.
<v Speaker 2>A free service.
<v Speaker 1>Everything free. That's even better. That's amazing. I love it.
<v Speaker 3>Check out No Woman Fights Alone. It's happening this Saturday
<v Speaker 3>in Aurora. Josh, I just mentioned a little while ago
<v Speaker 3>that my husband somehow got looped into creating all of
<v Speaker 3>these work activities for his coworkers.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and I don't know what it is. What are
<v Speaker 1>you talking about here?
<v Speaker 3>So he actually just yesterday, example, Just yesterday, he had
<v Speaker 3>to do this chili festival type thing.
<v Speaker 2>Not a festival, but a chili competition.
<v Speaker 1>Cook-off, yeah. Yeah, exactly.
<v Speaker 3>Everyone bring in their chili recipe, and then that's lunch
<v Speaker 3>for the day for everyone. And he didn't get enough sign-ups,
<v Speaker 3>so he had to make two batches of chili. It
<v Speaker 3>was just the whole thing.
<v Speaker 1>Right.
<v Speaker 2>And so it's like things like that.
<v Speaker 3>And over the summer, he did these weekly movie series
<v Speaker 3>where once a week he would put out a poll
<v Speaker 3>and people would vote on which movie they wanted to
<v Speaker 3>watch for the next week. And then he'd buy snacks
<v Speaker 3>and they'd have a movie on for lunchtime and. I mean,
<v Speaker 3>it's all good stuff, but again, I don't know how
<v Speaker 3>my husband got wrapped into this because he is not
<v Speaker 3>an activities kind of person.
<v Speaker 4>I was going to say, I know your husband on
<v Speaker 4>a very limited basis. I don't know him well. What
<v Speaker 4>you just described to me, just knowing the little bit
<v Speaker 4>about him that I do, that does not seem like
<v Speaker 4>something he'd be like, okay, I'm so excited to.
<v Speaker 1>Be director of movies and what we're doing.
<v Speaker 3>No.
<v Speaker 1>No, instead he's like, ugh, I hate this.
<v Speaker 3>I have so many other things to do at work.
<v Speaker 3>Why am I the one who has to do this?
<v Speaker 4>That's probably why they put him in charge. I guarantee
<v Speaker 4>you the co-workers are getting a chuckle out of this.
<v Speaker 1>They just want to see him suffer. Because they probably
<v Speaker 1>know him, and they're like, we know he's going to
<v Speaker 1>hate this for a whole summer.
<v Speaker 3>Right, right, exactly. Meanwhile, he's telling me about all these things,
<v Speaker 3>and then I'm excited. I was like, ooh, if you
<v Speaker 3>do a movie, look up the foods in the movie,
<v Speaker 3>and then you can create those as the snacks.
<v Speaker 2>I was like, I'll make you little signs.
<v Speaker 3>I'll help you like decorate the snacks. What?
<v Speaker 1>Hold on. I have never once thought of that.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah. Watch what they have in the movie for snacks
<v Speaker 4>and like. co-create something to go along with that.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, Josh.
<v Speaker 3>They do whole events on that.
<v Speaker 2>Did you know?
<v Speaker 1>No, I didn't. I'm also a guy. Hold on.
<v Speaker 2>Oh my gosh, you are.
<v Speaker 3>No, they have events where you watch Ratatouille and then
<v Speaker 3>they come out and they serve the different dishes during
<v Speaker 3>the different parts of the movie and you eat.
<v Speaker 1>Along with it.
<v Speaker 4>That's the coolest thing I've ever heard.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. That's the coolest. I've never once put any thought
<v Speaker 1>into that at all. Oh, Josh. No, I just buy
<v Speaker 1>the popcorn and the soda.
<v Speaker 3>You know what? That's a good future date night for
<v Speaker 3>you and Princess Pilot is find one of those events
<v Speaker 3>because they're so fun.
<v Speaker 4>I would love to do that. I wish I thought
<v Speaker 4>like you. I really do. That is crazy.
<v Speaker 3>Well, I'll help you out, okay?
<v Speaker 1>Thank you.
<v Speaker 3>Yes, I will help you out. But now my husband
<v Speaker 3>has to come up with all of these. They want
<v Speaker 3>to do the week of Halloween. They want a different
<v Speaker 3>Halloween movie every single day, and he's already dreading it.
<v Speaker 3>And on top of that, I'm also like, well, there's
<v Speaker 3>so many Halloween movies out there.
<v Speaker 2>It shouldn't be that hard.
<v Speaker 3>But at the same time, a lot of the scary
<v Speaker 3>stuff Halloween movies are so inappropriate for work.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, yes, absolutely. Which is especially like even the old thrillers.
<v Speaker 4>Like I would think of like Scream or, you know,
<v Speaker 4>the old Halloween ones or whatever.
<v Speaker 1>Like Those ones, like.
<v Speaker 2>There's a lot of nudity.
<v Speaker 1>Random nudity. Yeah. Like, they just threw it in there,
<v Speaker 1>and I was like, that doesn't fit at all. Why
<v Speaker 1>are you naked?
<v Speaker 2>Exactly.
<v Speaker 1>It makes zero sense to the plot. Yeah, it doesn't matter.
<v Speaker 1>You're right. It's not for the plot.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, you're right. There's not a lot of work-friendly, like,
<v Speaker 4>scary movies. I don't want to say horror movies, but
<v Speaker 4>scary movies.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, and so I started naming off all these kind of, like,
<v Speaker 3>Disney movies.
<v Speaker 2>That was, like, Nightmare Before Christmas. Coraline is a good one.
<v Speaker 1>It's a creepy movie.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>There's Monster House. There's all sorts of, like, animated movies.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>But again, my husband, he's like, nah, we're adults. I
<v Speaker 3>don't want to put in cartoons every day. Every once
<v Speaker 3>in a while, sure. But I was like, I don't
<v Speaker 3>really know what Halloween movies that he could do. I'm
<v Speaker 3>going to have to Google it and really figure it
<v Speaker 3>out because it still needs to be work appropriate.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, I mean, Halloween Town, Hocus Pocus is the goat.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, there's a bunch of those.
<v Speaker 4>Casper.
<v Speaker 2>I can't believe I didn't think of that.
<v Speaker 1>Beetlejuice.
<v Speaker 4>Ooh.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just raffling off my top head right now.
<v Speaker 4>You are.
<v Speaker 3>I need to start writing these down. We'll help them out.
<v Speaker 3>Last night, Ella Langley, she took over Red Rocks, and
<v Speaker 3>you can tell that she was just having some fun
<v Speaker 3>on that stage. And I really liked how she set
<v Speaker 3>it up. The thing about Red Rocks is it is
<v Speaker 3>an outdoor amphitheater, and sometimes the set does need to
<v Speaker 3>change whenever these big tours have their concerts there. Because
<v Speaker 3>they're used to huge stadiums. They're getting to build out
<v Speaker 3>their stage.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, yeah, you're right. I didn't think of that.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, and even like the Hilary Duff show that we
<v Speaker 3>went to over the summer, she didn't do, she usually
<v Speaker 3>throws out these big inflatable balls that the crowd just
<v Speaker 3>like bops around. Well, she didn't have those because it
<v Speaker 3>is open air and they were worried about them flying away.
<v Speaker 1>Blowing away. Yeah, their beach ball. They got to pay
<v Speaker 1>for more beach balls. Yeah, exactly.
<v Speaker 3>And Ella Langley, she really does it up on her set.
<v Speaker 3>And she was able to do some of it. She
<v Speaker 3>had a lot of greenery up on the stage. She
<v Speaker 3>had her lights going and everything like that. But the
<v Speaker 3>cool thing about Red Rocks is that you can shine
<v Speaker 3>these custom lights.
<v Speaker 2>On the rocks.
<v Speaker 1>Yes.
<v Speaker 3>And she had her dandelion up on the rocks and
<v Speaker 3>it looked really, really cool. So I know that everyone
<v Speaker 3>had a great time. And if you want to see
<v Speaker 3>some of the show. Big Rob did go over to the,
<v Speaker 3>at the show last night and he posted up on
<v Speaker 3>our Instagram stories and our Facebook stories. So you can
<v Speaker 3>go and check those out and you can live vicariously
<v Speaker 3>through Big Rob because we're doing it too.
<v Speaker 1>Lord knows we did. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Go check it out at Mix 100 Denver.
<v Speaker 4>Well, and I think one of the cool things about
<v Speaker 4>that too quickly on Red Rocks is you don't need
<v Speaker 4>to do up a stage.
<v Speaker 1>Red Rocks is the stage.
<v Speaker 2>It's beautiful.
<v Speaker 4>It's just like, She could literally stand up there and
<v Speaker 4>just sing her songs with her band and not need
<v Speaker 4>anything else. And it would be fine.
<v Speaker 1>The views there, it's so funny.
<v Speaker 4>I've been there a hundred times, and it's just one
<v Speaker 4>of those things that every time I go, I find
<v Speaker 4>something new that I'm like, I didn't see that before,
<v Speaker 4>and I just love it. The venue's incredible, and I'm
<v Speaker 4>sure she was in awe. of being able to perform
<v Speaker 4>there for the first time.
<v Speaker 3>How could you not be?
<v Speaker 1>It's so cool.
<v Speaker 3>So I love that.
<v Speaker 4>Well, this is some new news, and it makes a
<v Speaker 4>heck of a lot of sense about Sydney Sweeney. So obviously, Nina,
<v Speaker 4>you know I love talking about her.
<v Speaker 3>Yes.
<v Speaker 4>And we just found out, I think she just found out,
<v Speaker 4>that she is distantly related to... to another massive celebrity.
<v Speaker 4>And it's funny, they say, you know, in the story,
<v Speaker 4>you'll never guess who it is. It makes a lot
<v Speaker 4>of sense. She is now ninth cousins with Marilyn Monroe.
<v Speaker 2>Okay.
<v Speaker 1>And it just fits so perfectly.
<v Speaker 4>Marilyn Monroe is like the first centerfold lady of promiscuity,
<v Speaker 4>you know, where she's just like, we know what she
<v Speaker 4>did with, the president at the time. You just know
<v Speaker 4>she was just, happy birthday. She's just the lady that
<v Speaker 4>is like, you kind of see Sidney Sweeney as the
<v Speaker 4>reincarnation of her a little bit. Sidney uses her sexuality
<v Speaker 4>a lot in her movies and in the way she
<v Speaker 4>sells products. There's nothing wrong with that, but it's just
<v Speaker 4>kind of fitting that she is like, hey, you know what?
<v Speaker 4>I'm actually related to Marilyn Monroe now. So the genealogy website, myheritage.com,
<v Speaker 4>did determine that they are ninth cousins through a shared
<v Speaker 4>ancestor named Ezra Perry, who, by the way, they just
<v Speaker 4>throw this in there because I think the name is hilarious,
<v Speaker 4>who lived in Sandwich, Massachusetts.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, I think I know someone from Sandwich, Massachusetts.
<v Speaker 4>From Sandwich, Massachusetts? Bro, I just found out about this
<v Speaker 4>place like two seconds ago.
<v Speaker 1>I do.
<v Speaker 3>I know someone from there.
<v Speaker 1>That's funny.
<v Speaker 4>I want to live in Sandwich. That sounds so cool. Well, anyway,
<v Speaker 4>the website says, hey, uncovering their shared branch was incredible.
<v Speaker 4>It's a very powerful reminder that humanity is one vast
<v Speaker 4>community family tree and as we dig it up we
<v Speaker 4>uncover how remarkably uh interconnected we all are and i
<v Speaker 4>do think that's true i think that's really cool you
<v Speaker 4>know they say if you know um eight people you
<v Speaker 4>know a million people on earth and stuff like that
<v Speaker 4>so sure it's just a cool thing to show how
<v Speaker 4>truly uh interconnected we are and then it also just
<v Speaker 4>makes perfect sense that she is somehow related.
<v Speaker 2>To of course she is and sydney.
<v Speaker 1>I know you're listening i love you okay we're good
<v Speaker 1>That's all. That's all. All right.
<v Speaker 3>And actor Joe Mangiello was married to Sofia Vergara back
<v Speaker 3>in the day. And he wrote a book, this memoir.
<v Speaker 3>And he shared not a great story about her. He
<v Speaker 3>said that he had this mystery autoimmune disease, which actually
<v Speaker 3>required part of his intestine to be taken out.
<v Speaker 1>He got really sick.
<v Speaker 2>He was really, really sick. Nearly died there for a moment.
<v Speaker 3>And so he said that his ex-wife, Sofia Vergara, was
<v Speaker 3>not supportive. while he was sick at all. Granted, they
<v Speaker 3>were going through some marital problems, but she was not there.
<v Speaker 3>For someone who was nearly on their death bag, he
<v Speaker 3>would beg for hugs and physical touch, because he just
<v Speaker 3>needed it, and she refused. She wouldn't even give the
<v Speaker 3>guy a hug.
<v Speaker 2>And then I guess she.
<v Speaker 3>Mocked him when he adopted this five-pound chihuahua named Bubbles,
<v Speaker 3>by the way, which is cute.
<v Speaker 1>Why?
<v Speaker 2>She mocked him for being a man having a chihuahua,
<v Speaker 2>I guess.
<v Speaker 3>But actually this chihuahua.
<v Speaker 1>You know what? I'm actually kind of on her. I'm
<v Speaker 1>kind of on her side.
<v Speaker 3>It was an emotional support dog, okay?
<v Speaker 1>He's a big guy.
<v Speaker 3>He is.
<v Speaker 1>Small dog.
<v Speaker 3>There's something about a big guy carrying around a small dog, though.
<v Speaker 3>It's cute.
<v Speaker 4>Shh.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know.
<v Speaker 3>For some reason, it just like, it screams sensitive.
<v Speaker 1>Uh-huh.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, Josh. Anyway, three things you need to know before
<v Speaker 3>you go into the office today. Like the latest trend
<v Speaker 3>on TikTok is going on your Amazon account. You click
<v Speaker 3>the About You page and you read what Amazon has
<v Speaker 3>assumed about you based on your purchases. And people are
<v Speaker 3>finding some crazy things pop up from Amazon, and they're
<v Speaker 3>posting it up on TikTok. One I saw this morning said,
<v Speaker 3>it said a woman has a bad dad.
<v Speaker 2>I was like, oh, okay.
<v Speaker 1>Jeez.
<v Speaker 2>Just airing out the daddy issues right there.
<v Speaker 3>Another woman posted hers, and Amazon wrote that she had
<v Speaker 3>flat buttocks. Oh.
<v Speaker 1>Hello.
<v Speaker 2>So these are going viral.
<v Speaker 3>It's the latest trend right now to just go on
<v Speaker 3>your Amazon account, click the About You page, and just
<v Speaker 3>see what it says about you. So Josh, I challenge
<v Speaker 3>you to check out yours. Do you have an Amazon account, right?
<v Speaker 1>Of course I do.
<v Speaker 4>I'm a person. Yeah, I'm kind of going over it
<v Speaker 4>right now. It is very interesting.
<v Speaker 2>Isn't it crazy how much it tracks you?
<v Speaker 4>It's kind of scary. It's guessed the city I live in. Yeah.
<v Speaker 4>It says, hey, past you had home organizing focus.
<v Speaker 1>I did. I shop in the men's departments. Yes.
<v Speaker 4>I create audio or video content. This is so creepy.
<v Speaker 3>It's so creepy on how much it picks up just
<v Speaker 3>based on those purchases and then it assumes stuff about you.
<v Speaker 4>Calls out the brand of home security that I bought.
<v Speaker 3>There you go. I'm looking at mine and here's the
<v Speaker 3>thing is I don't really use Amazon a whole lot.
<v Speaker 3>I'm that person. But my husband does, and so.
<v Speaker 2>I have his account pulled up.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, no.
<v Speaker 3>Has two adults, likely has a pool. We do not
<v Speaker 3>have a pool. I wish.
<v Speaker 1>Next time.
<v Speaker 2>But we do have a.
<v Speaker 3>Hot tub, so it almost got that one. But the
<v Speaker 3>one that I think is hilarious, my husband is very
<v Speaker 3>type A, and they wrote, consistently repurchases organizational solutions.
<v Speaker 2>And I was like, yeah, that's my husband right there.
<v Speaker 1>Right there, yep.
<v Speaker 3>So you can check out your Amazon account. You just
<v Speaker 3>click the About You page in these settings and read
<v Speaker 3>what Amazon has assumed on you.
<v Speaker 2>So that's the latest trend right now, and I love it.
<v Speaker 1>It's kind of creepy.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, very, very creepy.
<v Speaker 4>All right, well, this is some exciting news. Dancing with
<v Speaker 4>the Stars, I know that is a major show. They
<v Speaker 4>are creating a Dancing with the Stars live tour. And
<v Speaker 4>it hits the road in 2027. There is a 60-stop
<v Speaker 4>North American tour starting January 21st in 2027. And it
<v Speaker 4>gets even better. They are making a stop at Ball
<v Speaker 4>Arena on Friday, March 19th in 2027.
<v Speaker 1>They are going to be.
<v Speaker 4>Going to Colorado and dancing their little feet off. And
<v Speaker 4>I think that is something that maybe I'd even want
<v Speaker 4>to watch. I'm not like the biggest Dancing with the
<v Speaker 4>Stars fan. I obviously know what it is. It's been
<v Speaker 4>going on forever. But depending on who is performing this year,
<v Speaker 4>I think that'd be really cool to watch live, right?
<v Speaker 2>It is really cool.
<v Speaker 3>Actually, my mom went to one of these shows just
<v Speaker 3>a couple of years ago and she said it was
<v Speaker 3>awesome because they pick out, you know, the favorite songs
<v Speaker 3>that everyone loves, that you know and love.
<v Speaker 2>So you can sing along to that. as well as
<v Speaker 2>the entertainment.
<v Speaker 3>I mean they're doing these amazing dance moves on the
<v Speaker 3>dance floor in front of you so it is very
<v Speaker 3>cool and I love that it will be here at Ballerina.
<v Speaker 4>I'm a little jealous. I wish they did this I
<v Speaker 4>think last year or two years ago I can't remember.
<v Speaker 4>I'm a huge Steve Irwin fan and his son, Robert Irwin.
<v Speaker 4>I know Bindi was on it years ago, but Robert
<v Speaker 4>Irwin is the reincarnation of Steve Irwin.
<v Speaker 1>I love him.
<v Speaker 4>He's just a joy to watch. That man is so
<v Speaker 4>full of happiness and joy. It would have been really
<v Speaker 4>cool to watch him, but I think this will be
<v Speaker 4>a really cool event.
<v Speaker 1>Again, it's coming March 19th.
<v Speaker 4>That's a Friday, by the way, so you can take
<v Speaker 4>the day off of work and then go Watch some
<v Speaker 4>professional dancing.
<v Speaker 2>There you go.
<v Speaker 3>Love that. And in the world of disclaimers, one more
<v Speaker 3>has been added to the list. To everyone's favorite Halloween candy,
<v Speaker 3>Reese's Peanut Butter Pumpkins. The package now says, carving not
<v Speaker 3>on actual product. Oh, you're right. Because, yeah, they have
<v Speaker 3>the chocolate just printed on the label, right? Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>But it has, like, a jack-o'-lantern on it.
<v Speaker 1>Uh-huh.
<v Speaker 3>But when you open up the chocolate, it's not actually
<v Speaker 3>a jack-o'-lantern. It's just pumpkin-shaped.
<v Speaker 2>So my question is, like... Is that disclaimer necessary?
<v Speaker 4>Oh, I'm sure someone tried to sue them. Yeah, I'm
<v Speaker 4>sure someone tried to sue them to make a quick
<v Speaker 4>buck from Reese's, of all people.
<v Speaker 1>Exactly. One of the greatest candies ever invented.
<v Speaker 3>That's what I hate about it. Why would you try
<v Speaker 3>to piss them off?
<v Speaker 1>I know.
<v Speaker 3>It's the best candy ever. Leave them alone.
<v Speaker 4>They're doing good. They're doing the Lord's work out there,
<v Speaker 4>and you're trying to make them upset by saying it's
<v Speaker 4>not good. shaped like a pumpkin or there's no jack-o-lantern.
<v Speaker 3>That and them having to redo the packaging, it's costing
<v Speaker 3>the company money.
<v Speaker 2>And then at the end of the day, we're getting
<v Speaker 2>smaller chocolate pieces.
<v Speaker 3>So stop.
<v Speaker 1>Please. I hate you.
<v Speaker 3>Stop it.
<v Speaker 1>I hate that person.
<v Speaker 3>There are rumors going around about who the Super Bowl
<v Speaker 3>halftime performer is going to be. And the biggest rumor
<v Speaker 3>that I've seen so far is actually Miley Cyrus.
<v Speaker 1>Which- would kind of make sense, right?
<v Speaker 4>I mean, I know she did just release an album
<v Speaker 4>that did debut at number one, which is awesome, good
<v Speaker 4>news for her. But she's also in the span of
<v Speaker 4>her life where She has like the iconic hits already.
<v Speaker 3>So many hits.
<v Speaker 4>But she's still doing a bunch of new stuff too.
<v Speaker 4>And that's kind of like what they like, you know,
<v Speaker 4>that type.
<v Speaker 1>Of artist, right?
<v Speaker 3>Mix it up a little bit.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>Other rumors are Justin Bieber and oh gosh, there was
<v Speaker 3>another one. I can't remember. But all the rumors swirling
<v Speaker 3>around about who Super Bowl halftime show performer will be,
<v Speaker 3>you know, we just won't find out until we find out.
<v Speaker 4>Which I don't like. It's usually at the beginning of
<v Speaker 4>the season.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, so hopefully soon.
<v Speaker 3>I think that's why all these rumors are going around
<v Speaker 3>right now because we'll probably get an announcement soon.
<v Speaker 4>I'm hoping it's the Biebs. I do like him. I've
<v Speaker 4>been following his career since I was also very little.
<v Speaker 4>My older sister was obsessed, so I kind of just
<v Speaker 4>was forced to be obsessed, but I like him.
<v Speaker 1>I think he's a good dude. I like his music.
<v Speaker 1>But Miley Cyrus would be really cool. She has such
<v Speaker 1>a range. That's a thing. It's very impressive.
<v Speaker 4>But there's some more news coming out about the Super
<v Speaker 4>Bowl that I'm actually really intrigued by this. Disney Plus,
<v Speaker 4>obviously they own ESPN and everything like that. So, They
<v Speaker 4>will be streaming the Super Bowl this year, coming up
<v Speaker 4>in 2027, which is, oddly enough, on Valentine's Day. They're
<v Speaker 4>making a major expansion of live events on their streaming platform.
<v Speaker 4>The game will also obviously be simulcast on both ABC
<v Speaker 4>in English and Spanish on ESPN. ESPN's first ever time
<v Speaker 4>giving a Super Bowl broadcast as well. They also announced
<v Speaker 4>that a couple more Monday Night Football games are going
<v Speaker 4>to be on there as well as they're gearing up
<v Speaker 4>for this.
<v Speaker 1>They're doing so much streaming online. I'm excited for this.
<v Speaker 4>I think Disney does a very good job with the
<v Speaker 4>way they broadcast things. I know they've already done some
<v Speaker 4>other live broadcasts, but I think that's just the way
<v Speaker 4>the world is going.
<v Speaker 1>It's going in a streaming way.
<v Speaker 3>I know.
<v Speaker 2>Which, pros and cons to that.
<v Speaker 1>There are.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know. At the same time, it's like, okay,
<v Speaker 3>we're paying as much as we did for cable back
<v Speaker 3>in the day, and that's why we all cut the
<v Speaker 3>cord or whatever before.
<v Speaker 1>I hate it.
<v Speaker 3>And yet, here we are paying the same amount, maybe
<v Speaker 3>even more, for all these different apps.
<v Speaker 1>Probably more at this point, to be honest.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, exactly, with inflation and everything, and they keep raising
<v Speaker 3>the prices. But I do think it is cool that
<v Speaker 3>Disney Plus is going to be streaming the Super Bowl,
<v Speaker 3>which reminds me, Josh, of why I have been banned
<v Speaker 3>from all of my friends for ever throwing a Super
<v Speaker 3>Bowl party again.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, you tease this, and I have no idea why
<v Speaker 4>you were, so I have to figure this out.
<v Speaker 1>What the heck happened?
<v Speaker 3>Okay, so what happened was, It was one month before
<v Speaker 3>the world shut down for COVID, February 2020 for that
<v Speaker 3>Super Bowl there. It was when Shakira and J-Lo were
<v Speaker 3>performing at the halftime show. I was all excited about it.
<v Speaker 3>I know. I was like my Latinas, let's go.
<v Speaker 2>So I was excited about it.
<v Speaker 3>And I was like, I want to host a Super
<v Speaker 3>Bowl party for everyone. So for some coworkers, for some friends,
<v Speaker 3>invited everyone over. I was excited and I built up
<v Speaker 3>a snack stadium that you see online. Oh, that's sick.
<v Speaker 3>And I put like Shakira and J-Lo logos in the
<v Speaker 3>middle of it.
<v Speaker 2>And it was real cute, okay?
<v Speaker 3>And I was all prepared for almost everything except for,
<v Speaker 3>you know, people got there a little early just to prepare,
<v Speaker 3>get the snacks, get a beer, and, you know, find
<v Speaker 3>your place on the couch or whatever. So it's finally
<v Speaker 3>time to like, okay, we got to put on the game.
<v Speaker 3>So I go and I put it on. I'm like,
<v Speaker 3>what channel is it on? And it's not available. So
<v Speaker 3>I live kind of down in a valley and I
<v Speaker 3>couldn't get the satellite to pick up the TV channel.
<v Speaker 3>I also did not have an ESPN account at all.
<v Speaker 3>And we are minutes, minutes.
<v Speaker 4>From the national anthem, right? The flyover, everything that people
<v Speaker 4>want to see. Nina, you didn't do any pregame, like, hey,
<v Speaker 4>let's figure out what channel it's on. You were just like,
<v Speaker 4>I made the snacks.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, literally.
<v Speaker 3>Literally, and I had, like, 20 people at my house.
<v Speaker 1>Are you kidding? So hold on.
<v Speaker 3>Everyone's ready to, like, watch it. And then the dudes,
<v Speaker 3>all the guys, they were getting mad at me. They
<v Speaker 3>were like, Nina, you better get this game on now.
<v Speaker 3>You better figure it out. And so I'm like, literally, like,
<v Speaker 3>let me download the ESPN app really quick.
<v Speaker 1>Hold on.
<v Speaker 4>Hold on.
<v Speaker 3>And one of them gave me their login account.
<v Speaker 4>Oh, yeah.
<v Speaker 1>At that point, just take it. No, literally. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
<v Speaker 3>And so we did eventually get it on, but they
<v Speaker 3>were like, we are never coming to a Super Bowl
<v Speaker 3>party at your house again, ever.
<v Speaker 4>That's literally like, seriously, that's like, hey, guys, I'm going
<v Speaker 4>to come over. I want to invite you all over.
<v Speaker 4>We're going to grill some steaks. They all get there,
<v Speaker 4>and you forget the steaks. That's the whole point of
<v Speaker 4>the party. I know for you, you're like snackies and
<v Speaker 4>all that stuff.
<v Speaker 1>And I get that.
<v Speaker 4>And that is an important part. You did not even check.
<v Speaker 4>Were you married at this point?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>What's your husband doing?
<v Speaker 2>He is not a sports guy.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my gosh. What is happening? Exactly.
<v Speaker 3>Everyone is like, why are we here? But I used
<v Speaker 3>my friend's login and it was fine. And we watched
<v Speaker 3>the game and we had a great time watching Shakira
<v Speaker 3>and J-Lo shake their butts.
<v Speaker 1>I'm actually pissed off at you. I'm actually mad. I'm
<v Speaker 1>mad at you right now.
<v Speaker 3>Do you want to come over to my house this
<v Speaker 3>year for the Super Bowl? No. Don't get me wrong.
<v Speaker 2>I really super hate talking about Diddy, but he is
<v Speaker 2>in prison right now. So, you know, that's. That's the
<v Speaker 2>silver lining.
<v Speaker 3>But.
<v Speaker 1>He's where he deserves to be.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, exactly.
<v Speaker 3>And recently in the news, he got caught partying and
<v Speaker 3>having a little too much fun in jail, which is
<v Speaker 3>a crazy sentence to say. But he is now paying
<v Speaker 3>the price. He was put into solitary confinement. After all
<v Speaker 3>of that came out that he had this secret cell phone,
<v Speaker 3>he could watch TV and movies, and he was paying
<v Speaker 3>people to, like, cook him stuff and do his chores
<v Speaker 3>and all of that. And so, yeah, he is reportedly
<v Speaker 3>still in solitary right now, and as they search for
<v Speaker 3>that contraband cell phone and get a handle on his
<v Speaker 3>whole situation behind bars right now.
<v Speaker 1>How do you leak news out of jail?
<v Speaker 3>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>Like, how do they find out about this, and how
<v Speaker 1>did that become a news press release?
<v Speaker 2>Well, first of all, I can.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know for sure, but I can probably assure
<v Speaker 3>you that that is not the only contraband cell phone.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, absolutely not.
<v Speaker 2>No, you're right. And who knows, with some of the guards,
<v Speaker 2>maybe they're selling the story.
<v Speaker 1>You're right.
<v Speaker 3>You know what?
<v Speaker 1>You're right.
<v Speaker 2>We don't know.
<v Speaker 3>But not only is he going through all of that
<v Speaker 3>right now, Right now, his release date actually has been
<v Speaker 3>pushed back by six weeks. So this just broke, and
<v Speaker 3>we don't know exactly why. They haven't put an exact
<v Speaker 3>reason why it got pushed back by six weeks or
<v Speaker 3>added on six weeks to it.
<v Speaker 1>Did he ask for it? Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>He's like, I'm cool. This is real nasty here.
<v Speaker 1>I'm cool. I'm going to stay.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah. But no, I mean, think about the timing of
<v Speaker 3>all of this happening, and now he has six more
<v Speaker 3>weeks that he's got to be there.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, that's, I mean.
<v Speaker 2>Keep him in there. That's fine.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. I would say it sucks, but it
<v Speaker 1>sounds like he was having a good time.
<v Speaker 2>I know.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. Maybe he did ask for it.
<v Speaker 4>Nina, there was a viral video that went everywhere probably
<v Speaker 4>early last week, and it was about a lady who
<v Speaker 4>was saying, hey, I want to kind of have my
<v Speaker 4>funeral before I die because she has FOMO. She's like,
<v Speaker 4>I'll physically be at the funeral, but I'm going to
<v Speaker 4>be missing out on all the fun and all the wonderful,
<v Speaker 4>nice things people are saying about me.
<v Speaker 3>Wow.
<v Speaker 4>She decided, she's like, I'm going to throw a pre-funeral party.
<v Speaker 4>I want people to celebrate me.
<v Speaker 2>She wants to be there. She's like, tell me how
<v Speaker 2>great I am.
<v Speaker 4>She wants to be there alive and well. And this
<v Speaker 4>went so viral, it was everywhere, that it even got
<v Speaker 4>picked up by Good Morning America. And there's Kelly Ripa
<v Speaker 4>and Mark Consuelos. They were talking about it as well.
<v Speaker 1>It was everywhere. It was on the news stations.
<v Speaker 4>But Kelly said something kind of funny about this. So
<v Speaker 4>she just celebrated her 56th birthday. And she was kind
<v Speaker 4>of thinking about this whole thing too. She watched the
<v Speaker 4>video and she was like, okay, I kind of want
<v Speaker 4>to plan out exactly how I want my pre-funeral or
<v Speaker 4>normal funeral as well to go. And Mark, her husband,
<v Speaker 4>made a funny joke talking about like, well, okay, hold on.
<v Speaker 4>Do I have to get you ready and all this stuff?
<v Speaker 4>And she goes, absolutely, flipping not. She goes, you will
<v Speaker 4>not be touching me.
<v Speaker 1>You will not be.
<v Speaker 4>She goes, I have had a stylist for decades.
<v Speaker 3>She's like, I'm hiring someone.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, absolutely. She's like, my stylist will make me look
<v Speaker 1>as beautiful as ever. All these things.
<v Speaker 4>She said, don't even do a darn thing. In which
<v Speaker 4>he replied, absolutely, I'm.
<v Speaker 1>Fine with that.
<v Speaker 3>That.
<v Speaker 1>Apparently.
<v Speaker 3>Good husband.
<v Speaker 1>He's listening.
<v Speaker 4>Right. There's been a long time kind of back and
<v Speaker 4>forth with them how he cannot, like, ever do anything
<v Speaker 4>correctly when it comes to getting ready. And typical guy,
<v Speaker 4>I understand that. I am not telling my girlfriend how
<v Speaker 4>to dress at all.
<v Speaker 2>No, don't you dare.
<v Speaker 4>If you're a man, you understand. You just stay quiet
<v Speaker 4>about that and let them look how they want to look.
<v Speaker 3>And you just tell them they look so pretty.
<v Speaker 1>Exactly. And they always do. Everybody looks beautiful. We love it.
<v Speaker 4>So I think this is kind of funny, but it
<v Speaker 4>got me thinking, would you ever want to join in
<v Speaker 4>a pre-funeral or have your total funeral completely planned out?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean, it is interesting.
<v Speaker 3>And like she said, the FOMO is so real because
<v Speaker 3>a lot of these funerals, it's a celebration of life,
<v Speaker 3>a celebration of who you were as a person. And yeah,
<v Speaker 3>it can be really uplifting to potentially hear all these
<v Speaker 3>positive things that people you love gathered to be able
<v Speaker 3>to say about you. So I get it. I don't
<v Speaker 3>know that I would ever do it myself, but I
<v Speaker 3>totally get it.
<v Speaker 4>Would you want your funeral planned out down to what
<v Speaker 4>you wear? Like, you're like, I have my dead person outfit?
<v Speaker 4>Or are you like, I'm going to be cremated.
<v Speaker 1>It's all good.
<v Speaker 2>Honestly, I'll probably just end up being cremated myself.
<v Speaker 3>But if I were to be having a funeral, yeah,
<v Speaker 3>I think I would plan it all out. Not to
<v Speaker 3>be negative or bring it down or anything, but my mom,
<v Speaker 3>she is just planning ahead. You know, and she's getting
<v Speaker 3>everything kind of set up right now. And I don't
<v Speaker 3>think she's gotten to the outfit part quite yet, but
<v Speaker 3>I would not put it past my mother.
<v Speaker 2>She is going to plan every detail.
<v Speaker 3>Absolutely.
<v Speaker 4>She's that type A type person right there?
<v Speaker 2>Not really, but I know that she would want it.
<v Speaker 1>To be her way. She's extra then. There we go.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, she's so extra.
<v Speaker 1>I like that actually. That's kind of nice. Absolutely she is, yes. Hi, Norma.
<v Speaker 2>I know she's listening right now.
<v Speaker 4>Oh, hi, Norma.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, hi, Norma. Ella Langley just absolutely knocked it out
<v Speaker 3>of the park last night at Red Rocks. I'm seeing
<v Speaker 3>more and more videos start to come up because, you know,
<v Speaker 3>it's the next day. Everyone's like, let me go through
<v Speaker 3>my footage, let me post it more to my stories,
<v Speaker 3>and I'm so jealous.
<v Speaker 4>I was like, you and I are kind of doing
<v Speaker 4>the opposite thing right now. I'm not looking at stories
<v Speaker 4>just yet, A, because I'm at work and a good employee,
<v Speaker 4>but also on top of that... No, also on top
<v Speaker 4>of that because... I'm so jealous. That is such a
<v Speaker 4>big concert. I know.
<v Speaker 1>I love her music.
<v Speaker 4>Obviously, that song is such an earworm. It just sticks
<v Speaker 4>with you. It's so good. It does.
<v Speaker 1>I love it. And she has so many other hits, too,
<v Speaker 1>first of all.
<v Speaker 3>Yes.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm insanely jealous, so I'm avoiding the stories.
<v Speaker 4>I know.
<v Speaker 3>And we're also very jealous of Antoinette, who won those
<v Speaker 3>final pair of tickets yesterday at our event to give
<v Speaker 3>them away over at Zig Zag Burgers. So thank you,
<v Speaker 3>Zig Zag, for having us over there. We'll have to
<v Speaker 3>do that again, because that was so much fun.
<v Speaker 1>Food was great. Atmosphere was amazing.
<v Speaker 4>Every worker there, I want to give a shout out
<v Speaker 4>to them because they were all so nice. They were
<v Speaker 4>so hospitable to us. They were so kind. Hey, do
<v Speaker 4>you guys need water?
<v Speaker 1>Do you need drinks? Anything like that. Over and over again.
<v Speaker 1>So the entire event went seamless. It was amazing.
<v Speaker 3>And we kind of brought in a lunch rush. And
<v Speaker 3>I think that, I mean, they were aware. They knew
<v Speaker 3>we were coming. We just weren't, we didn't know how
<v Speaker 3>many people were going to show up.
<v Speaker 1>No, it was a lot of, yeah, it was great.
<v Speaker 4>I mean, 11,000 people's a lot, but we got them
<v Speaker 4>all in there and it was, it was awesome. No,
<v Speaker 4>it was, it was so cool to see how many
<v Speaker 4>people showed up. Um, obviously Ella is a massive, massive
<v Speaker 4>artist and to be able to have a chance to
<v Speaker 4>win those tickets was great, but to try the food too,
<v Speaker 4>there was a lot of people's first times going there
<v Speaker 4>and they were reporting back to me saying, Hey man,
<v Speaker 4>the burger that you recommended or whatever was fantastic.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm like, you They make good food.
<v Speaker 3>They make really good food. I had this burger with
<v Speaker 3>goat cheese on it, and I am such a sucker
<v Speaker 3>for goat cheese.
<v Speaker 1>I love goat cheese.
<v Speaker 3>I love it so much. If you're looking for just
<v Speaker 3>a burger and a beer, Zig Zag has it. If
<v Speaker 3>you're looking for a fancy burger with some goat cheese
<v Speaker 3>and a beer, Zig Zag has it. So make sure
<v Speaker 3>you go and check them out, and thank you so
<v Speaker 3>much for having us. Three things you need to know
<v Speaker 3>before you go into the office today, including this trendy
<v Speaker 3>Japanese market that it's making its way to Colorado. It
<v Speaker 3>is called the Hashi Market, and this is extremely popular today.
<v Speaker 3>on TikTok, obviously extremely popular in Japan where, you know,
<v Speaker 3>it started up. It's very popular in New York. They
<v Speaker 3>have a couple of locations and now it is going
<v Speaker 3>to be coming to Aurora. Yeah, right there on Mississippi Avenue.
<v Speaker 3>And the big thing about this market is like, yes,
<v Speaker 3>it has this big.
<v Speaker 2>Freshwater fish market inside there.
<v Speaker 3>You can get all the fun Japanese snacks and everything
<v Speaker 3>like that that are very popular. They also do these
<v Speaker 3>sushi demonstrations, so sushi lovers are gonna be real excited
<v Speaker 3>about Hashimarket.
<v Speaker 1>I love sushi. I can't get enough of it.
<v Speaker 4>I could eat it every single day, twice a day.
<v Speaker 4>I just love it because there's so many different kinds too.
<v Speaker 4>I almost never get the same thing. I have my favorites,
<v Speaker 4>I like the spicier kind, but that being said, you
<v Speaker 4>can always find different ways they prepare it.
<v Speaker 1>I'm like a sushi, I love it.
<v Speaker 3>Have you ever made your own sushi?
<v Speaker 4>Um, I have, and I didn't like it, which is fine.
<v Speaker 4>That's the first time and only time I didn't like it.
<v Speaker 4>I think I messed it up.
<v Speaker 3>I know.
<v Speaker 4>I think I messed it up. My rice wasn't holding
<v Speaker 4>together very well. The roll wasn't great. Um, the making
<v Speaker 4>it was really fun, but I, I, it.
<v Speaker 1>Fell apart on me.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, well, once the Hashi market opens up over there
<v Speaker 3>in Aurora, you can go to the sushi demonstrations and
<v Speaker 3>you can perfect your sushi roll making skills, Josh.
<v Speaker 1>Okay. There we go. I love it.
<v Speaker 4>I would absolutely go to this. I think that's a really,
<v Speaker 4>really cool thing that they do there. Um, Nina, this
<v Speaker 4>is interesting. I just found a story that says fall,
<v Speaker 4>or autumn, as other people like to call it, is
<v Speaker 4>when we are most likely to finally fall off that
<v Speaker 4>diet train. So people are really usually good about making
<v Speaker 4>it at the beginning of the year, you know, the
<v Speaker 4>New Year's resolution.
<v Speaker 1>Of course. All that good stuff. They say.
<v Speaker 4>In springtime, too, we're especially good at it. But during
<v Speaker 4>the fall, we are 11% more likely to fall off
<v Speaker 4>that train than we are in winter. Which is funny,
<v Speaker 4>because I think winter is when we're eating all the
<v Speaker 4>sweets and everything, right?
<v Speaker 1>Well, yeah.
<v Speaker 3>It starts with Halloween and all the candy. And then
<v Speaker 3>there's Thanksgiving and then Christmas. And we're just eating. And
<v Speaker 3>you know what? Summer's over. We don't need to be
<v Speaker 3>in bikinis anymore.
<v Speaker 2>So it's like, whatever.
<v Speaker 4>Hey, summer bods are built in the winter. But yes,
<v Speaker 4>you're 11% more likely to eat worse in fall than winter.
<v Speaker 4>14% more likely to eat worse in fall than in spring,
<v Speaker 4>and then 12% more than the summer.
<v Speaker 1>So it's just one of those things. Be cautious.
<v Speaker 4>Don't put on the Thanksgiving 20, I guess, or whatever.
<v Speaker 1>But I think that's also true. You're right. I didn't
<v Speaker 1>think about how much candy we're eating.
<v Speaker 3>There's a lot of sweets that come in the fall.
<v Speaker 4>And the PSLs are coming back out. We're eating pumpkin pie. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Exactly.
<v Speaker 3>I mean, it makes sense.
<v Speaker 1>I need to get my stretchy pants.
<v Speaker 3>There you go. And Coco, the Front Range train that's
<v Speaker 3>going to be coming, it has a place on some
<v Speaker 3>Colorado ballots this year, but whoopsies, 800,000 voters received ballots
<v Speaker 3>that include a tax question about Coco that they are
<v Speaker 3>not eligible to vote on. So this was a big
<v Speaker 3>whoops at the fact that they were printed on all
<v Speaker 3>of these ballots and sent out. But officials are saying,
<v Speaker 3>you know what? This was our bad. We do apologize
<v Speaker 3>for it. This was our fault. But we're just not
<v Speaker 3>going to report on those ineligible votes. Because, again, it's
<v Speaker 3>a tax question about COCO. And it's all these different
<v Speaker 3>districts and communities in the front range.
<v Speaker 2>But then people in Aurora are all of a sudden
<v Speaker 2>going to see these questions. And they're like, that has
<v Speaker 2>nothing to do with them.
<v Speaker 4>Okay.
<v Speaker 3>Whoopsies, they do apologize, and they are assuring everyone they're
<v Speaker 3>figuring out on how to not report those ineligible votes,
<v Speaker 3>so that only the community members who have to deal
<v Speaker 3>with the taxes with CoCo, they will be the only
<v Speaker 3>ones to have their votes in on that.
<v Speaker 4>Well, you'd think that it's just kind of like a Scantron, right?
<v Speaker 4>You just kind of fill in the circles of the
<v Speaker 4>things that you want to vote on, and so I'm
<v Speaker 4>sure they can program something to just not count it.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, it's like the boundaries that they need to figure out,
<v Speaker 3>so they're working on it. Josh, as we go through
<v Speaker 3>our daily lives, Things evolve, and it even evolves with
<v Speaker 3>grocery shopping, as weird as that sounds.
<v Speaker 2>I know, I know.
<v Speaker 3>But more and more people, we are buying in bulk
<v Speaker 3>because A, it's cheaper, and the world's life is more
<v Speaker 3>expensive than it has ever been before, and we're like,
<v Speaker 3>please help, anything we can do. So buying in bulk
<v Speaker 3>definitely helps, and stores like Costco specifically are have just
<v Speaker 3>gotten so much more popular through the years.
<v Speaker 1>They're inspiring us now, Nina.
<v Speaker 2>Honestly.
<v Speaker 4>The things that we can get, which, by the way,
<v Speaker 4>first of all, I love Costco. I'm an avid Costco shopper.
<v Speaker 4>Even if it's just for myself, I have to go
<v Speaker 4>to the store only once every.
<v Speaker 1>Two months now.
<v Speaker 3>It's fantastic.
<v Speaker 1>There you go. But yeah, you're right. I think the
<v Speaker 1>world also, unfortunately, we're just getting lazier.
<v Speaker 4>I know. We try to find ways to Just cut
<v Speaker 4>the corners in any single way that we can.
<v Speaker 2>In any way.
<v Speaker 4>And this is now showing up more and more often.
<v Speaker 4>People are adding Costco doors. I'm putting that in quotations
<v Speaker 4>to their homes now so they can essentially load their
<v Speaker 4>groceries directly from the car straight to their pantry without
<v Speaker 4>needing to. make the trip around your kitchen, I guess?
<v Speaker 3>Like, carry the bags through the garage by the front door,
<v Speaker 3>through the kitchen, into your pantry, and then you.
<v Speaker 2>Put it away?
<v Speaker 4>The way that you just described it, like, for me,
<v Speaker 4>I am a one-trip man.
<v Speaker 1>I don't do.
<v Speaker 4>I will die on my way in holding 87 grocery
<v Speaker 4>bags plus the sodas that I bought, whatever. Like, I
<v Speaker 4>will take that in one trip because, God forbid, I ever.
<v Speaker 1>Have to take two trips to the car.
<v Speaker 3>You have to do two trips.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know why.
<v Speaker 4>It's like I have to prove to myself that I
<v Speaker 4>still can, and I'm just over there like.
<v Speaker 1>Stomping, trying to get my way in. Yeah.
<v Speaker 4>I'm always a one-person trip. So maybe for me this
<v Speaker 4>would make sense because then I can just kind of
<v Speaker 4>slide everything through the kitchen doors. But it's essentially just
<v Speaker 4>cutting a hole through your garage door that leads straight
<v Speaker 4>to where your pantry is. And you can kind of
<v Speaker 4>slide the groceries down or push them in.
<v Speaker 2>Open a little window, open a little door.
<v Speaker 1>It's a doggy door, essentially. Yeah, sounds like it. It looks,
<v Speaker 1>we're so lazy. It's lazy. I mean, we are so lazy.
<v Speaker 1>It's so funny.
<v Speaker 4>I make this analogy. We are getting closer and closer
<v Speaker 4>to the world of Wall-E. than ever before. I mean,
<v Speaker 4>we watched that cute little cartoon.
<v Speaker 1>It picks our movie. It's adorable.
<v Speaker 4>Wally, we love it. But like next time you watch
<v Speaker 4>that movie, watch the people in there. And then you're like,
<v Speaker 4>we're about 10 years.
<v Speaker 1>Away from that.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, no, honestly. And I, this honestly proves it.
<v Speaker 3>People, the fact that people are making different house upgrades,
<v Speaker 3>if you can call this an upgrade of these Costco doors,
<v Speaker 3>it's not actual doors sold at Costco. It's just so
<v Speaker 3>that you can easily buy Load your pantry without having
<v Speaker 3>to walk more steps than you need to.
<v Speaker 1>Which people get your steps in. Come on now. It's
<v Speaker 1>good for us.
<v Speaker 2>I thought that's what we were doing.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Don't be lazy. Come on.
<v Speaker 2>Come on. Costco doors. That's ridiculous.
<v Speaker 3>And we have quite the busy weekend, Josh. You and
<v Speaker 3>I both on Sunday are going to be at Making
<v Speaker 3>Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. It is going to be
<v Speaker 3>on Sunday at Tivoli Quad at the Auraria campus. And
<v Speaker 3>we would love for you to walk alongside us if
<v Speaker 3>you can, wear your pink.
<v Speaker 2>And if you're not able to.
<v Speaker 3>Come and join us on Sunday, then you can absolutely
<v Speaker 3>donate to our team. Of course, all of those proceeds
<v Speaker 3>are going straight to the American Cancer Society for Making
<v Speaker 3>Strides Colorado. I'm going to be helping MC. And Josh,
<v Speaker 3>you are kind enough. to just come along for the
<v Speaker 3>ride and hang out and just have a good time.
<v Speaker 2>And, you know, it's all for a great cause.
<v Speaker 4>Well, and again, you're right. It is for a great cause.
<v Speaker 4>I want to be out there and meet the people.
<v Speaker 4>I want to see the people who are walking with
<v Speaker 4>us and donating their time and possibly money, you know,
<v Speaker 4>to this amazing cause. And, Nina, I had an epiphany
<v Speaker 4>yesterday that really kind of scared me. I want to
<v Speaker 4>wear a lot of pink for this event, obviously. Being
<v Speaker 4>a man who is so colorblind, I'm, like, so nervous
<v Speaker 4>that I didn't buy pink. So I need to send
<v Speaker 4>you some pictures later of the outfit that I want
<v Speaker 4>to wear because.
<v Speaker 3>So I can confirm that you bought pink stuff?
<v Speaker 4>They might be gray or purple. Like, I genuinely have
<v Speaker 4>no idea. I'm like, I'm going to show up in
<v Speaker 4>all purple. And you're like, hey, buddy.
<v Speaker 3>Like, this is the wrong color.
<v Speaker 1>What are you doing?
<v Speaker 3>I appreciate the effort, but it's not quite pink.
<v Speaker 4>I cannot tell you how many things I've bought thinking
<v Speaker 4>it's navy blue. And my mom would be like, hey.
<v Speaker 4>I didn't really know you're so into purple. And I'm like,
<v Speaker 4>I thought it was navy blue. So I really do,
<v Speaker 4>I gotta run this by you. Like, I have no
<v Speaker 4>idea what I'm wearing and what color it is. So
<v Speaker 4>you're gonna get some outfit pics later, okay?
<v Speaker 3>Yes, send me a photo of what you bought. I
<v Speaker 3>will make sure that it is pink. Dating in Denver
<v Speaker 3>is such a nightmare. Josh, all I got to say
<v Speaker 3>is I am so glad I am married because I
<v Speaker 3>couldn't imagine going through it. And luckily for you, you
<v Speaker 3>are taken right now.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I've been there. I mean, Nina,
<v Speaker 1>I have been there. And it is.
<v Speaker 4>I'm speaking from my perspective only, but it is.
<v Speaker 1>Please do. It's a hellhole. I mean, to be honest. Like,
<v Speaker 1>it is... It's just crazy. People do not expect any
<v Speaker 1>type of commitment. No.
<v Speaker 4>And this is crazy because usually for me... It's always been, historically,
<v Speaker 4>the woman wants the commitment and the man's kind of like, well,
<v Speaker 4>let's just see where things go, you know?
<v Speaker 1>Sure, yeah. But it's, I would say it is so
<v Speaker 1>much closer to 50-50 now.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah. Where no one wants commitment, no one wants anything.
<v Speaker 4>And then you try the online dating and that's just
<v Speaker 4>hookup central.
<v Speaker 2>I really wonder what it is.
<v Speaker 3>I wonder if it's just like the new generation of
<v Speaker 3>dating and if it's like that everywhere. Or is it
<v Speaker 3>Denver specifically? Because Denver is kind of one of those places.
<v Speaker 4>Notorious.
<v Speaker 3>Where, well, people will move here for a few years,
<v Speaker 3>kind of live the mountain life and have some fun,
<v Speaker 3>and then they'll move away. And because there's not long-term
<v Speaker 3>plans for a lot of people to stay here, maybe
<v Speaker 3>that's why there's such a hookup culture.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, maybe.
<v Speaker 4>Nina, we're the only Love is Blind season to have
<v Speaker 4>nobody stay together.
<v Speaker 1>Zero.
<v Speaker 3>None. That was so terrible. Crazy.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. You actually brought up a really good point.
<v Speaker 4>I have not thought about that because Denver's been such
<v Speaker 4>a home to me for so long.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 4>Maybe it is, because I know we're called the melting
<v Speaker 4>pot state. People come here from everywhere, maybe stay a
<v Speaker 4>year or two, and then they peace out.
<v Speaker 1>And then they're leaving. I don't know.
<v Speaker 3>Taking relationships too seriously, I feel like it just doesn't
<v Speaker 3>happen around here.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe not.
<v Speaker 3>And I have a lot of single friends, and so
<v Speaker 3>I hear their horror stories, and I get mortified sometimes
<v Speaker 3>at some of it. It's hard out there.
<v Speaker 4>It is, but we're trying here.
<v Speaker 1>And you know what, Nina?
<v Speaker 4>We're trying with dating apps again. And this one specific,
<v Speaker 4>there is a new one coming to... hopefully lend a
<v Speaker 4>helping hand. It's kind of like Love Connection, so think
<v Speaker 4>of this. Some people are frustrated with modern dating, I
<v Speaker 4>understand that, but there is an old game called Love
<v Speaker 4>Connection and it's kind of where essentially you would have
<v Speaker 4>you and another picture posted together and people would vote
<v Speaker 4>of like, they would make a cute couple.
<v Speaker 1>Now that's based solely on looks.
<v Speaker 3>Based on looks?
<v Speaker 4>Based on looks alone, okay? This is different than that.
<v Speaker 4>There's a new app called Rivet and it allows other
<v Speaker 4>people to kind of play cupid for you um you
<v Speaker 4>can sign up to be a matcher which is really
<v Speaker 4>cool i kind of want to do this you can
<v Speaker 4>sign up to be a matcher and then you can
<v Speaker 4>also sign up to be the people that are like
<v Speaker 4>the contestants if you will okay so it's a little
<v Speaker 4>game and you also put in like things you're interested
<v Speaker 4>in so that it can kind of not just go
<v Speaker 4>on looks alone it's going to match you up with
<v Speaker 4>someone that has similar ideas and likes like this but
<v Speaker 4>That being said, the matchers get to then see an
<v Speaker 4>AI-generated photo of you and whoever is like you, you.
<v Speaker 1>Know, in terms of together.
<v Speaker 3>So that you're like, ooh, we look cute together. Maybe
<v Speaker 3>we should give it a try.
<v Speaker 1>Exactly.
<v Speaker 4>But on top of this, you are not only thinking
<v Speaker 4>you look cute, you have other people. So let's say
<v Speaker 4>you're like, oh, I think this is, you know, we
<v Speaker 4>would look good together.
<v Speaker 1>And then it has.
<v Speaker 4>50 down votes, you're like, oh, okay, you know what,
<v Speaker 4>never mind. So it's kind of just giving the outward
<v Speaker 4>complexion of what you guys would look like in the
<v Speaker 4>general public. And I kind of like this because it
<v Speaker 4>involves people who are not in your life at all
<v Speaker 4>and can give you a completely raw, unedited answer And
<v Speaker 4>be like, hey, you guys look horrible together, or be like, yeah,
<v Speaker 4>you'd be a really cute couple if I saw you
<v Speaker 4>walking downtown.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I mean, I guess I understand that, but at
<v Speaker 3>the same time, with it being kind of really based
<v Speaker 3>on the outward appearance, it's like, aren't we trying to
<v Speaker 3>move away from that?
<v Speaker 4>Well, so this isn't just this. So that's the difference
<v Speaker 4>between the love connection game and this. So matchers are
<v Speaker 4>not just given the outward appearance, they're also given all
<v Speaker 4>of the data.
<v Speaker 1>So you are.
<v Speaker 3>Everything that you say you like, everything.
<v Speaker 4>That she says she likes or whatever, without revealing anybody's
<v Speaker 4>personal information, but including the core personality traits, interests, and
<v Speaker 4>relationship intentions. Again, that's, you know, I'm just looking for
<v Speaker 4>a hookup or I'm looking for commitment here. And then
<v Speaker 4>also the physical preferences. So this is the difference between
<v Speaker 4>the Love Connection Game Show and this app now. And
<v Speaker 4>then you just submit yes or no. Like, hey, yeah,
<v Speaker 4>that's a good couple. You're kind of swiping right or
<v Speaker 4>left depending on yes, that's a good couple. Yep, no,
<v Speaker 4>that's not a good couple.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, for sure. I mean, yeah, Denver dating, it's really tough. So,
<v Speaker 3>I mean, you can give this app a try. I
<v Speaker 3>just talked yesterday about the Rhino Soulmate photo booth that
<v Speaker 3>they have.
<v Speaker 1>Which is another cool thing.
<v Speaker 3>I think that is really cool. And it kind of
<v Speaker 3>matches you up with someone else. Again, just answering questions.
<v Speaker 3>They answered a lot like you did. Go find your
<v Speaker 3>soulmate kind of deal. And then another dating event that
<v Speaker 3>is coming to Denver this weekend.
<v Speaker 2>It's going to be up later at Mix100. com on your
<v Speaker 2>Den 10 website.
<v Speaker 3>But all the singles out there, bring a friend to
<v Speaker 3>pitch a friend. Now, this has come out here before,
<v Speaker 3>and it's super fun, and I've seen videos of it,
<v Speaker 3>and I've seen it on TV before, and Pitch a Friend,
<v Speaker 3>it is this event where you go and you bring
<v Speaker 3>your single friend, but you literally get up on stage
<v Speaker 3>and you talk about how great your friend is, why
<v Speaker 3>they would be a good boyfriend, girlfriend, all the things
<v Speaker 3>that they bring to the table, and you're literally to
<v Speaker 3>a crowd of other singles pitching a friend as to
<v Speaker 3>why someone should date them, which I love that.
<v Speaker 1>What?
<v Speaker 4>You know what my sadistic kind of personality trait would be?
<v Speaker 1>What?
<v Speaker 4>I want to go there, and I just want to
<v Speaker 4>talk about how horrible my friend is in every single way. Oh,
<v Speaker 4>that's so mean. And just see if someone would love
<v Speaker 4>them at their worst. What, if you don't love me
<v Speaker 4>at my worst, you don't get me at my best?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, okay.
<v Speaker 4>Look, this person, habitually late. You know, his room is
<v Speaker 4>so messy. Dude can't keep anything straight. His car is
<v Speaker 4>always out of gas. He probably won't pay for your dinner.
<v Speaker 4>And if there's a girl out there that's like, you
<v Speaker 4>know what? That's his worst character traits. I can work
<v Speaker 4>on him. that's your future wife right.
<v Speaker 1>There, buddy.
<v Speaker 4>Honestly?
<v Speaker 2>At first I thought you were a little bit crazy,
<v Speaker 2>but you know what?
<v Speaker 1>Not too bad.
<v Speaker 3>That's not the worst idea.
<v Speaker 1>Not too shabby.
<v Speaker 2>As long as it's not too, too bad.
<v Speaker 4>No, I'm not going to destroy my friend's confidence, but
<v Speaker 4>I'm going to be real and be like, hey, you
<v Speaker 4>know what? This guy never shows up on time, so
<v Speaker 4>you're going to have to plan 40 minutes ahead of everything. Right, right.
<v Speaker 2>I just don't want you to be up on stage like, has.
<v Speaker 3>seven baby mamas and expired tags for four years.
<v Speaker 1>You went from late to baby mamas?
<v Speaker 4>Nina!
<v Speaker 1>Well, you know, honestly.
<v Speaker 4>I just experienced my worst nightmare on the air. We
<v Speaker 4>are clicking the buttons to go on air and I
<v Speaker 4>have a sneeze building.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, is that what you were doing over there?
<v Speaker 1>I was freaking out. I was like, no, don't hit
<v Speaker 1>the mic yet.
<v Speaker 4>Sorry, we're pulling back the curtain a little bit, but
<v Speaker 4>I see, you know, we have timing in here and
<v Speaker 4>the clock is going down.
<v Speaker 1>I'm like... I'm like, oh, gosh. We're good. We made
<v Speaker 1>it through.
<v Speaker 3>So you're barely hanging in there, but that's good.
<v Speaker 1>That and choking.
<v Speaker 4>I was with a co-host a few years ago on
<v Speaker 4>a sports side of the station, and he started choking
<v Speaker 4>on the air.
<v Speaker 1>Because we're guys. He likes to eat on the air.
<v Speaker 1>You know, whatever.
<v Speaker 4>That's great radio. But starts choking, and I'm over here
<v Speaker 4>trying to run a radio program, and I'm like. Oh, no.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what to do here. He got it up.
<v Speaker 1>He lived. We're good. Everything's fine. That's good. Sorry, just
<v Speaker 1>lived through a nightmare of mine there really quick.
<v Speaker 3>But are you okay?
<v Speaker 1>We're good.
<v Speaker 3>Deep breaths.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, we're going to reset right now.
<v Speaker 1>Yep, totally fine.
<v Speaker 2>All right, Denver's Morning Show with Nina and Josh.
<v Speaker 1>There we go. Yes, and we made it through the day.
<v Speaker 1>We did. We did.
<v Speaker 3>We finally made it through the day. That's good. But
<v Speaker 3>it is not the end of the show without admitting
<v Speaker 3>our wrongs. Josh, what do you got?
<v Speaker 4>You know, earlier in the show, this was like one
<v Speaker 4>of the first segments we did. We talked about Britney
<v Speaker 4>Spears and kind of how healthy she's living now.
<v Speaker 1>It looks really good. She's taken her sons out. It
<v Speaker 1>seems that way. Yeah.
<v Speaker 4>She's taken her sons out. They went to Dollywood and
<v Speaker 4>Just had a grand old time, right? And I love that.
<v Speaker 4>And there was a time in my life, all the
<v Speaker 4>way up very recently, where I'm just like, is she
<v Speaker 4>ever going to kind of get it together? She's had
<v Speaker 4>so many problems, unfortunately. It's been very public, and that's
<v Speaker 4>very sad. She has lived a very public life, and
<v Speaker 4>we've seen many of her struggles. So I'm very happy.
<v Speaker 4>to be wrong about this because it seems like she's
<v Speaker 4>kind of headed down the right path.
<v Speaker 2>That she's doing okay?
<v Speaker 1>That's good. Yes, I love that. It makes me very happy.
<v Speaker 1>So I'm very happy to be wrong about that. Okay, good. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>what did you get wrong?
<v Speaker 3>All right, I had wrong that people had common sense. Oh, man.
<v Speaker 2>My bad.
<v Speaker 3>You should know that. Well, you know. There's a new
<v Speaker 3>disclaimer on Reese's peanut butter pumpkins this year that the
<v Speaker 3>carving is not on the actual product because it shows
<v Speaker 3>a little like jack-o'-lantern eyes on the chocolate. And they
<v Speaker 3>were forced to put on a disclaimer because so many
<v Speaker 3>people had an issue with it that, I don't know,
<v Speaker 3>the fact that this whole company had to make new
<v Speaker 3>wrappers put on a disclaimer. And I just think it's
<v Speaker 3>annoying that we have to complain about everything.
<v Speaker 4>Nina, you know someone saw this, saw a chance at
<v Speaker 4>a quick buck or a quick million, and they sued
<v Speaker 4>them and they were like, you caused catastrophic damage to
<v Speaker 4>my son's hopes and dreams, thinking that he would be
<v Speaker 4>able to eat a printed on pumpkin on the new
<v Speaker 4>Reese's out there. That's what they do though. And they're like,
<v Speaker 4>my son had to go to therapy for this.
<v Speaker 1>Because they want to make a quick buck. That's what
<v Speaker 1>people do. They always want money.
<v Speaker 3>Now I wonder if someone actually made money off of
<v Speaker 3>that and that's why they had to put the disclaimer.
<v Speaker 3>Or if there was just enough complaints that they're like, fine,
<v Speaker 3>we'll do it.
<v Speaker 1>Something like that. Also, Reese's, it's not that hard to
<v Speaker 1>print on chocolate. It's really not.
<v Speaker 3>No, it's not. But I think it shows it's technically carved,
<v Speaker 3>so then you would have to stamp something on each
<v Speaker 3>individual piece of chocolate, and then they're like, no, that's
<v Speaker 3>where we draw the line.
<v Speaker 1>That's where they draw the line. We are not stamping.
<v Speaker 3>No, absolutely not.
<v Speaker 1>All right, Reese's. Oh, man.
<v Speaker 3>All right, Nina and Josh, and we're getting out of here.
<v Speaker 3>And Angela Cortez coming in next. You have a great
<v Speaker 3>rest of your day, and we will talk to you
<v Speaker 3>tomorrow morning. Thank goodness it's Friday.
<v Speaker 1>Woohoo! Goodbye.
<v Speaker 3>All right, bye.
