Sophie's Adventures in the Dark PT1, a play for radio in 3D audio. (You will need to wear headphones)

In late 2010 I was comissioned to produce the first radio play ever to be post-produced entirely in virtual 3D sound. There have been a few dramas recorded in Binaural sound like The Mist which was produced by ZBS Foundation, and The Revenge which was recorded by the BBC in the late 70s. However what I'm doing with Sophie is entirely different. All the sounds were recorded in mono or split down to their mono left and right channels, then mixed in virtual 3D using special software. You will only experience the 3D sound if you wear a good stereo headset.
