","description":"4 Killed For What is a production of True Crime Today, listen & sub to True Crime Today Here: https://availableon.com/truecrimetodayatruecrimepodcast\n\nJoin in our case discussion here:\nJoin our Facebook Discussion Group:\nhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/834636321133023\n\nToday, we discuss the timeline and give a brief update on the current information as we know it.\n\nNov. 12\nEthan Chapin, 20, of Conway, Washington; Madison Mogen, 21, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; Xana Kernodle, 20, of Avondale, Arizona; and Kaylee Goncalves, 21, of Rathdrum, Idaho, were killed.\n\nMoscow police said Goncalves and Mogen, lifelong best friends, went to the Corner Club pub in downtown Moscow from 10 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12.\n\nThe two were filmed at Grub Truck, a neighborhood food vendor, at 1:40 a.m. and utilized a private party to get home at 1:45, authorities said. Authorities say the Grub Truck surveillance video man and the person who transported them home are not suspects.\n\nPolice said Chapin and Kernodle, who were dating, visited Sigma Chi Saturday night.\n\nPolice stated they returned home at 1:45 a.m. Chapin was sleeping over with his girlfriend.\n\nPolice said two other housemates, who survived the attack and are not suspects, went out in Moscow Saturday night and came home by 1 a.m.\n\nNov. 13\nMoscow Mayor Art Bettge told ABC News that the four students died at the house between 3 and 4 a.m. on Nov. 13.\n\nPolice reported a dog at the home.\n\n\"Isolated, targeted attack,\" said Moscow Police Chief James Fry.\n\nPolice stated the two roommates slept through the murders in the basement. Police claimed the two roommates phoned friends to their house on Nov. 13 because they thought one of the second-floor victims had passed out.\n\nPolice said a roommate called 911 for an unconscious person at 11:58 a.m. Police said \"multiple people talked with the 911 dispatcher.\"\n\nPolice reported finding four victims on the second and third floors.\n\nAuthorities stated no one at the house at the time of the 911 call committed the murders.\n\nPolice also don't think the male Goncalves and Mogen repeatedly called on Nov. 13 is involved.\n\nNovember 17\nPolice said Nov. 17 autopsies showed all deceased were stabbed many times.\n\nPolice stated the four kids were asleep when attacked and had defensive wounds.\n\nPolice noted no sexual assault.\n\nNov. 28\nGoncalves' father, Steve, told ABC News on Nov. 28 that the pupils died swiftly and did not bleed for hours, thus an earlier 911 call would not have saved them.\n\n\"Nobody suffered,\" Steve Goncalves stated.\n\nNov. 21\nOn Nov. 21, 20-year-old Ethan Chapin's family held a memorial service.\n\nOn Nov. 30, grieving family and students held a candlelight vigil at the University of Idaho.","author_name":"Hidden Killers With Tony Brueski | True Crime News & Commentary","author_url":"https://audioboom.com/channels/5040505-hidden-killers-with-tony-brueski-true-crime-news-commentary","provider_name":"Audioboom","provider_url":"https://audioboom.com","width":480,"height":95,"thumbnail_url":"https://audioboom.com/i/40033875/600x600/c","thumbnail_width":600,"thumbnail_height":600,"html":""}
