The charges make him eligible for the death penalty under California law. DA Nathan Hochman has not publicly announced whether his office will seek that penalty, stating he will consult the family before making a final determination. Nick Reiner has been held without bail at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility since his arrest.\n\nHis original attorney, Alan Jackson, withdrew during the January 7 arraignment, and Greene was appointed as his public defender. A sealed medical order has been filed in the case.
