{"type":"rich","version":"1.0","title":"Earthed","description":"\"The sound does opt convey a sense of space, but the location informed my choice. I took the original sound of the distribution box, chopped it up and added a modulator to change the pitch of the chops randomly. This gives the piece a rhythmic element that I was able to use as the backbone for a live piano improvisation on top of it. I did not change any notes but look some stuff away in the mix to make it flow better.\n\n\"The title is a nod to the album \"Earth\" by that quite famous Greek keyboard chap whose name eludes me. The alternate meaning and connection to electricity was a marvellous coincidence that I did not consider until partway through the recording, but it fits nicely.\"\n\nGreek electrical distribution box reimagined by Gareth Evans.","author_name":"Cities and Memory - remixing the world","author_url":"https://audioboom.com/channels/2138625-cities-and-memory-remixing-the-world","provider_name":"Audioboom","provider_url":"https://audioboom.com","width":480,"height":95,"thumbnail_url":"https://audioboom.com/i/43662058/600x600/c","thumbnail_width":600,"thumbnail_height":600,"html":"<iframe width=\"100%\" height=\"95\" src=\"https://embeds.audioboom.com/posts/8907556/embed?v=202301\" style=\"background-color: transparent; display: block; padding: 0; width: 100%\" frameborder=\"0\" allowtransparency=\"allowtransparency\" scrolling=\"no\" title=\"Audioboom player\" allow=\"autoplay\" sandbox=\"allow-downloads allow-forms allow-popups allow-same-origin allow-scripts allow-storage-access-by-user-activation allow-top-navigation-by-user-activation\"></iframe>"}
