Gary Ridgway’s six months of FBI interviews led investigators to four women whose families had never been able to lay them to rest.\n\nThe criticism of the Heuermann interview is understandable — it gives a convicted killer attention. The FBI’s fifty-year track record says the attention is a tool, not a reward. What it produces is the point.
