He has pleaded not guilty.\n\nTony Brueski takes the question true crime listeners have been fighting about since the arrest — Joseph or Josh, which one is worse — and gives a real answer instead of a shrug.\n\nGetting there means going back to July of 2003, sixteen months after Josh Duggar first confessed, and looking hard at the man Jim Bob Duggar chose to handle it. It means looking at the teaching this family was raised on, which framed going outside the chain of command as the dangerous move. It means watching what happened to two Duggar daughters on Fox News in June of 2015.\n\nAnd it means reading two statements. One from the Duggars. One from Kendra's parents, the Caldwells, who lost a house over it.\n\nJoseph Duggar's Florida case was continued on July 14, 2026.
