The court denied a motion to split the trial into two phases.\nThen there's the whiteboard. Intubated and unable to speak after it was over, Lindsay Clancy wrote one question, and it's a detail that cuts straight to what this whole trial is trying to determine.\nPatrick Clancy is on both witness lists, called first by the prosecution and expected to testify for the defense as well. He's filed a malpractice suit against her doctors and told a reporter he wasn't married to a monster.
