Nick co-wrote the film, it premiered at a festival with the two of them sitting there, and he told NPR that making it was part of his recovery. He said people who go through addictions of all kinds are kind of hard to love.\n\nThen a petition from a jail cell. Court filings show Reiner asked a judge to release the trust his parents created for him, reported at more than one and a half million dollars by Variety and NBC and at one point seven million by Rolling Stone. He wanted it to re-hire attorney Alan Jackson and to buy basic support items at the commissary.\n\nOn the other coast, Clancy and her ex-husband Patrick both filed lawsuits accusing her medical providers of failing to properly diagnose and treat her condition. There are named parties. There are signatures on a discharge.\n\nHe has pleaded not guilty and no motive has ever been officially confirmed. Her jury has not returned a verdict.
