Davis was identified as a person of interest in the murder.\n\nThe prosecution clarified a critical distinction on Day 3: Davis's proffer carried no immunity. Nothing he said in that room with federal agents was legally protected.\n\nLee testified there was no proof Davis ordered a hit and that the FBI never independently verified Davis was in Las Vegas the night Tupac was shot. The jury submitted questions about what the FBI did with Davis's statements and why the case took twenty-seven years to reach a courtroom.\n\nDavis had served prison time on drug charges.
