{"type":"rich","version":"1.0","title":"Caleb Flynn Chose THIS Instead of Divorce?!","description":"Caleb Flynn had a marriage he wanted out of, an affair already underway, and a legal way to leave. A jury concluded he chose something else: murdering Ashley Flynn, staging their Tipp City home as a break-in, and trying to escape responsibility.\n\nOn October 5, the court sentenced Flynn to life without parole. He maintained his innocence even after relatives read statements from his daughters asking why he had taken their mother from them and telling him the pain he caused would follow them for the rest of their lives.\n\nThe prosecution's case included more than 107,000 messages exchanged with Alleigha Botner during an 18-month affair. Jurors heard one message in which Flynn said he had stayed up thinking of ways to kill Ashley and not go to jail. The state argued those messages helped show motive and planning. The defense disputed the state's interpretation and emphasized gaps in the physical evidence, but the jury returned guilty verdicts after about two and a half hours.\n\nBob Motta and retired FBI Special Agent Robin Dreeke examine the part no verdict can fully explain: why a person maintaining a double life would keep escalating rather than simply walk away. They also look at Flynn's refusal to admit guilt at sentencing and what that behavior can and cannot tell us after the legal case has already been decided.\n\nListen Anywhere You Get Podcasts: https://pod.link/1655749292\n\nWant to comment and watch this podcast as a video?
