{"type":"rich","version":"1.0","title":"The Big Boo Cast, Episode 516","description":"College football is a game of mountains and valleys, and this week it just so happens that Melanie - thanks to Texas A&M - is walking through a bit of a valley. So for the first half hour-ish of this episode, Mel and I talk about the valley, we analyze it, we speculate on how there might be a way out of it, and we also manage to work in about 472 references to the Nick Saban documentary on ESPN. Coach Saban is a teacher, he is.\n\nWe also recap our respective weekends, and it's Melanie's turn for Five Favorites.\n\nEnjoy, everybody!\n\nJoin Us on Patreon (http://patreon.com/bigboo)\nOur Amazon Shop (http://amazon.com/shop/bigboo)\nBig Boo Dallas Live Stream tickets - with special guest Beth Moore (https://events.ticketleap.com/tickets/bigboo/big-boo-dallas-2026) (you'll be able to watch for two weeks after the live)\nTicket Resell Post for Dallas Live Show (https://www.patreon.com/bigboo/posts/dallas-live-show-171118075)\nIf you'd like to listen online, you can do that here (https://audioboom.com/channels/5042565-the-big-boo-cast) .\n\nShow Notes:\n\nA&M struggles against Missouri (https://www.espn.com/college-football/recap/_/gameId/401856716)\nthe Savannah Bananas curse (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDytB7-nGks)\nCoach Elko apologizes for \"Billy's cesspool\" comment (https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7684608/2026/10/12/mike-elko-texags-apologies-texas-am-football/)\nESPN docuseries Saban (https://www.disneyplus.com/browse/entity-17dae581-b8d4-41d8-ba04-bb6675cc392b)\nDr. Lonny Rosen (https://www.instagram.com/reels/DeQMG7xxd2-/)\nthe Sooners prevail in the Red River Shootout (https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/50151802/oklahoma-stuns-no-1-texas-last-second-fg-red-river)\nKentucky beats LSU (https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/50154081/kentucky-converts-2-point-play-ot-upset-no-10-lsu)\nSouth Carolina surprises Florida (https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/50150629/lanorris-sellers-sparks-south-carolina-rout-no-16-florida)\nGeorgia knocks off Alabama (https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/50154761/no-2-georgia-rallies-posts-first-win-alabama-2007)\nJon Sumrall's great shirt (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Us2fNXunBlE)\nUntold: Swamp Kings (https://www.netflix.com/title/81305970)\nCasa Monarca in Bryan, TX (https://www.texasmonthly.com/restaurant/casa-monarca-mexican-cantina-bryan/)\nAggie rings (https://www.aggienetwork.com/ring/)\nLaundry Love (https://laundrylove.org/)\nDr. Brandt Dermal Micro Points (https://go.shopmy.us/p-93725251)\nExponent Needle-Free Eye Lifting cream (https://go.shopmy.us/p-93725741)\nsatin lace poncho (https://go.shopmy.us/p-93726188)\nQuince Flow Knit Performance Breeze tees for men (https://go.shopmy.us/p-91704089)\nlacquer decorative tray (https://go.shopmy.us/p-93733355)\n\n  Sponsors:\n\nMint Mobile (http://mintmobile.com/bigboo) - use this link to cut your mobile bill to $15 a month\nThrive Market (http://thrivemarket.com/bigboo) - use this link to shop their 25% off sale through October 17\nOSEA Malibu (http://oseamalibu.com) - use code BIGBOO to get 10% off your first order\nHelix (http://helixsleep.com/bigboo) - use this link for 29% off sitewide through October 29th","author_name":"The Big Boo Cast","author_url":"https://audioboom.com/channels/5042565-the-big-boo-cast","provider_name":"Audioboom","provider_url":"https://audioboom.com","width":480,"height":95,"thumbnail_url":"https://audioboom.com/i/38144818/600x600/c","thumbnail_width":600,"thumbnail_height":600,"html":""}
