Man Kills GF's Parents On Camera | Daily Brief

While his wife was out of town, a 57-year-old man allegedly killed her parents.

A death investigation was reported in the 500 block of Cherry Road shortly before 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, according to a news release from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. WPEC-TV reports that authorities found Gabriela Lagos' parents' bodies at the scene.

Lagos' father was found "laying on his back with severe blunt force trauma to his face" in the living room. The mother was found nude on her knees in the back bedroom, with severe blunt force trauma on her torso, arms, and face.

Lagos was out of town and her husband, Guillermo Silva, stayed home to take care of her parents, according to WPEC.

Silva was identified as the suspect by authorities.

When Lagos arrived home, her husband said, "Turn the camera on, turn the camera on, I want to show you something."

I can't believe him. He's a monster, that he can do that to two old people." Lagos also added, "He recorded videos for me, so I could see my parents dead. I can't believe it."

A son of Lagos allegedly discovered the bodies when he arrived home to drop off money for his parents. Silva attempted to attack the son with a knife, but the son fought back and held Silva down until authorities arrived.

Silva was questioned by deputies and said he did not "remember killing" Lagos' parents. He reportedly told them he had gotten into an argument with them after drinking all day.

At the time of the killings, Lagos' adopted 11-year-old son was allegedly inside the home unharmed.
