rich 1.0 United Nations and humanitarian partners in South Sudan are appealing for additional USD96 million to assist people fleeing the conflict in Sudan. The appeal has been amplified by South Sudan NGO Forum believing that more means are necessary to support returnees and refugees. The UN in the country launch the emergency response plan - Peter Van der Auweraert, the IOM country director in South Sudan, is also serving the UN interim Humanitarian Coordinator.
