There's the phone, too — carried off the island by his friends, according to Crump, and returned to the family with messages deleted, also according to Crump. His experts and county investigators agreed to a mutual inspection of the device. District Attorney Angel Myers McIlrath has told the Wells family the case will be presented to a grand jury once the investigation wraps.
