Mica left her apartment on April 27, 2024, dressed for work, packed sandwich in the car. The night before, she’d signed separation papers from Solid Rock Church pastor JP Miller. By three o’clock, she was dead at Lumber River State Park in North Carolina. JP admits he sent her four emails that morning — through a cover letter that told him not to contact her. Their content has never been released. Her body was found a hundred feet from the gun. No traditional autopsy was performed. Fourteen police contacts in ten weeks couldn’t get between them. JP Miller’s federal trial on cyberstalking and false statements begins in October. The question the sandwich asks hasn’t been answered.
