rich 1.0 An open garage door. A thoughtful neighbor. A phone call that changed our family forever. This Short Story Wednesday, we’re celebrating three years since Reese and Teagon’s adoptions became official on the very same day—October 6, 2023. We’re sharing the recording of our actual adoption hearing and inviting you into one of the most meaningful days of our lives. After years of infertility, the uncertainty of foster care, and so many miracles along the way, it’s a moment we’ll always treasure. Then Mikaela sits down with Kim, our neighbor two doors down and one of the angels in our family’s story. You’ve heard us tell how Teagon came into our lives. Now you’ll hear Kim’s side—how a text about an open garage led to a conversation the next day, and why choosing to make one phone call mattered so much. There’s laughter, a little family chaos, and so much gratitude in this episode. We hope it reminds you that even the smallest act of kindness can mean more than you’ll ever know. If you’re praying, waiting, or struggling to understand your own story, we hope you leave feeling a little more loved and a little less alone. Go look for those angels. 🤍 Angels Among Us https://audioboom.com/channels/5160166-angels-among-us Audioboom https://audioboom.com 480 95 https://audioboom.com/i/43871953/600x600/c 600 600 <iframe width="100%" height="95" src="https://embeds.audioboom.com/posts/8961458/embed?v=202301" style="background-color: transparent; display: block; padding: 0; width: 100%" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="allowtransparency" scrolling="no" title="Audioboom player" allow="autoplay" sandbox="allow-downloads allow-forms allow-popups allow-same-origin allow-scripts allow-storage-access-by-user-activation allow-top-navigation-by-user-activation"></iframe>
