She tells us that Amazon is a very powerful competitor and she's concerned it is now close to being a monopoly. But she's not concerned that books themselves are under threat.

I recorded this in main reception at the BBC's Broadcasting House in Portland Place - having just recorded a short interview with Radio 4's Peter White, for broadcast on In Touch sometime soon. We talked about Audioboo - how I have used it to post my guide dog and travelling diaries, and to contribute to the UK Soundmap - and also how (reasonably) easy it is to use for visually impaired people. Meeting Peter, and being interiewed in such an iconic building was great fun and very interesting.
