ok Shannon... swap ya now - 13 degsC wet n'd windy - forecast the same for the next week at least :( let me melt in that heat lol
Seriously Mac, I wish we could swap weather conditions! It's bleedin' hot here right now! Thirty-one degrees Celsius in the shade. I'd rather have your rain and autumnal temperatures. I can't stand the heat. As the Wicked Witch of the West melts in water, I melt in the heat. :-P Repairing your turntable is a good way to spend those dreich days though, for sure.
Remember to rinse those records with distilled water after cleaning Jeff. then blow dry carefully followed by 5mins each side in the sunbed :o))

Glad you liked it Shannon - you just can't beat a bit of snap crackle n'pop - even if it is mono :)
That sounds amazing! Not a pop or a crackle to be heard. I'm so glad you were able to get your turn-table repaired. I miss my record player. I guess that sounds strange, but I have very fond memories of the records I used to have, even though they sounded hideous in comparison to your state-of-the-art equipment. But I actually don't mind a bit of snap, crackle and pop on my vinyl. I guess it's nostalgic for me or something. I don't even mind mono recordings. In fact, some oldies are better in mono because the stereo spread wasn't actually very good.
