Thinning Arctic Ice Creates More Algae -- Alex Davisson

In the Arctic, global warming is causing ice to melt at an alarming rate. Scientists have recently discovered that this is causing an algae bloom. Their theory is that because the ice is getting thin, light gets through the ice more easily speeding up algae growth. Hopefully, this is not harmful to the environment.
