A large 7.5 earthquake hit the boarder line of Alaska and Canada. This powerful earthquake caused tsunami warning alarms to sound, and caused great fear in Alaska. Alaskan Tsunami Warning Systems later said that a tsunami will not come, because the sea level only increased by six inches. This is normal in places like Sitka and Port Alexander, which is where they thought the earthquake was going to hit.
