The Lindisfarne Gospels next week arrive in Durham to be put on display for three months in what's been described the regions "cultural event" of the year.

The ancient Christian manuscripts where created on the island of Lindisfarne around thirteen hundred years ago.

But what is life like now on the island they call the Holy Island, and how do they feel about the Gospels returning to the North East?

Earlier this week BBC Tees's David Rhodes visited the birth place of the Gospels.
