Chris Graham is the former managing editor and founder of Tracker magazine and also the former and founding editor of the National Indigenous Times (NIT).

Chris got his start in the media at age 15 as a copyboy at the Sydney Morning Herald in 1988. In 1990 he started a cadetship at Magazine House, and from 1996 he headed bush to work in regional papers.

In late 2001, Chris was part of a small team that created NIT.

Chris has won a Walkley Award for Excellence in Indigenous Affairs reporting, a Walkley High Commendation, and has twice been awarded the Human Rights Award – Print Category for his Indigenous affairs reporting.

Chris lives in Glebe, Sydney and now works as a freelance journalist for print, radio and film. He spends much of his time on the road, writing and photographing from Aboriginal communities around the nation.
