Chris Keen's version of 'Shot me down' Sung from the boys point of view 20 years in the future!

Everybody knows that song 'Shot me down' Its been covered by lots of people, probably most famously by Cher and most recently by David Guetta... The song tells the tale of a 5 year old girl being shot down (with a toy gun) by her 6 year old friend.
Well Chris Keen has made his own version 20 years in the future from the boys point of view!
Why did he shoot her down?
