#DDay Veteran Raymond "Tich" Rayner from #Aylesbury.

In 1944, Tich was a platoon sergeant with D Company, the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry Battalion of 6th Airborne Division. 70 years ago, he flew in one of 6 Horsa Gliders, landing in occupied France. Their mission was to capture and hold 2 bridges in enemy held territory. I loved meeting him...a true gent.
