Nikki Turner

Hi I am Kira White and I am going to tell you about Nikki Turner a black African American novelist. 1. Nikki was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. 2. Nikki was raised in the Baptist Church
3. Nikki was always an avid reader in the seventh grade her teacher gave her a journal. Ever since then she keep a journal close by. 4. Nikki received an education and graduated from North Central University in 1996. 5. Nikki obtained a series of jobs working in a pharmacy, interior decorator, a cookie factory and travel agent before becoming a successful writer. 6. Nikki is an author of urban fiction. 7. Nikki’s first book “The Hustler’s Wife” was sponsored by David Yurman Diamonds, Cristal Champagne and Stacy Adam Shoes. 8. For Nikki writing is a way to get her message out she says, “I want young girls to be forewarned about the vicious street life. They only see the glitz and the glamour. They don’t see the darkside.”
