Should Ulster Orchestra get £500,000 rescue package from ratepayers?

Should Belfast City Council use half a million pounds of ratepayers money for a rescue package for the Ulster Orchestra? The orchestra's chairman Sir George Bain has warned it will be forced to close by the end of the year without a cash injection. Some Belfast City councillors have said they are sympathetic to the Orchestra's plight - but no final decision was taken at a City Hall committee meeting on Friday.
