Charlie Lawson, John Linehan, Lembit Opik & Rose Marie react to Gay Byrne's ‘right to die’ bombshell

On Friday's programme we aired some of an interview I had with the legendary Irish broadcaster Gay Byrne and the reaction was massive. He said he would consider assisted suicide if he were in severe pain and nearing his death.

You can hear that full interview later this week, but that controversial statement from Gay got huge follow-up in the papers - the Irish Independent, the Sun, the Mirror, the Irish Examiner - it was all over Twitter and even other radio stations were running with this story.
