ORIHUELA LEADS THE WAY IN EMPLOYMENT INCREASE

Unemployment across the Vega Baja increased by 129 people in October, with 33.07% of the population now out of work. According to the employment agency SERVEF, Torrevieja has seen the largest increase in unemployment, with 417 registered workers now losing their jobs. However, the opposite happened in Orihuela once again, where unemployment fell by 186 people in October.
