It was a landslide victory for an unlikely winner in Prince Rupert: Lee Brain beat incumbent Jack Musallem by over 1600 votes, capturing 58% of the popular vote. He credits his win to an inclusive leadership style and a new vision for the northwest.

"Clearly the people of Prince Rupert wanted a big change, and they went to the polls and voted in overwhelming amount of numbers that we haven't seen here."

Brain says Watson Island and LNG development will be key aspects of his leadership.
