UHP troopers undergo regular training on how to handle situations that may call for the use of deadly force. One of those training methods uses a simulator. This allows troopers to visualize real-life scenarios and react to what they see and hear. This form of training does not involve interactions with actual people, so in addition to the simulator training, officers will role play and use paint ball guns.
