It's not a good day for Stormont and the reputation of our politicians. MLA expenses are back in the headlines, after the second part of a special investigation by BBC's Spotlight team. Last night's programme reported that Sinn Féin MLAs claimed £700,000 in expenses over 10 years for research from a company run by the party's finance managers. Spotlight was not able to find any evidence of research by that company. There were also revelations about other parties - including DUP expenses for thousands of stamps, as well as i-pads, heating oil, MLAs employing relatives and office rental costs.
