Roads not gritted, bus and train fares up - new cutback warnings from Regional Development Minister Danny Kennedy. He has published a savings document for next year and says he needs to make £65million of savings - which could see 300 job losses and the complete withdrawal of bus routes from a number of towns. In the summer it was streetlights not repaired, gullies not emptied and grass not getting cut. Now roads might not be gritted and you could pay more for public transport, that's if a bus even comes to your town any more. Is this really what it's come to?
