Sheriff Candidate believes that Diversity is not an issue at the Muskegon County Sheriff Department

Michael Poulin is the front runner to win the Democratic Primary Elections for Muskegon County Sheriff. He has spent more money than any other candidate and is well liked by his co-workers. But his answer on Diversity at the Sheriff Department has us concerned. The City of Muskegon Heights is a majority black city and has a very diverse police force. They have set the example for the rest of the county. If Michael Poulin is elected we hope that his views on Diversity changes. In our opinion the County Sheriff department should be Diverse on Patrol as well as inside the Jail. This doesn't mean that the current Sheriff is the better candidate.
