South Sudan stands the risk of losing its wildlife if nothing is done to protect plant and animal species.
Mike Lopidia, Deputy Country Director of the Wildlife Conservation Society says elephants, zebras and tiang antelopes are decreasing at alarming rates, while forests are being cut down for charcoal. Lopidia says the biggest threat comes from poaching and illegal sale.

Lopidia spoke to Samuel Pawon on Miraya Breakfast Show, outlining the challenges and wildlife protection strategies.
