After a night of "Contributing Factors", Kenny Shiels was frustrated at the loss to Bray by the odd goal in a 5 goal game. In what was always going to be an emotional and difficult night for the Derry City players and staff, Bray Wanderers left Maginn Park with a win after being put under an increasing amount of pressure from a sustained attack from the Candystripes. In a game that Derry dominated, it was a difficult night with the loss of Rory Patterson after 25 mins to injury followed by Keeper Gerard Doherty at half Time. A poor performance from the referee added to the frustration on the night, when former Captain Ryan McBride was remembered by Club and supporters alike.
