British Asians and Mental Health Illness (Aug 2009) - My story for BBC Asian Network

This is the first story I ever had broadcast! I found that 1 in 4 new patients accessing mental health services were British Asians. This was a hugely significant figure taking into account the stigma attached to mental health illnesses and the common Asian belief that these issues should be dealt with in house.
