South Sudan Human Rights Commission to publish State of Human Rights report

The South Sudan Human Rights Commission is preparing a report on the state of human rights in the country.

The Acting Chairperson of the Commission, Yual Justin Yac says the detailed report will be released to the public in the next two weeks.

He explained in an exclusive interview with Radio Miraya, that the comprehensive account covers several violations ranging from offences committed during inter-communal fighting to infringement of civil and political rights and accountability processes.

The Acting Chairperson of the Human Rights Commission was speaking on the sidelines of a forum that discussed the concept of compensation and reparation enshrined in chapter five of the peace agreement.
